Saying Sorry Will Never Be Enough
Feeling a bit angsty so I had this idea.
Danny is dating one of the Bats/Birds, and everything is going great, amazing even! They know each other secrets (from powers to everything etc), they have a wonderful place to live (even if its in Gotham), Danny is in college on the way to becoming a space engineer (and he does side jobs for unrestful ghosts), he's actually getting sleep again since leaving Amity Park, gets along with their friends and family (those who Danny or his partner still talk to, up to the writer), there is even talk about marriage and perhaps adoption/kids in the future between Danny and the Bat/Bird he's dating!
Everything is setting up for a good life in his future, something Danny didn't think could have after his accident. He was happy finally, and currently packing up his old apartment because he's moving in with his partner in a few days.
So he felt like his core was being pulled out of him when he opens his apartment door one day receiving a knock to find his parents, who had hadn't seen since they kicked him out of the house after coming clean about being Phantom (their words of anger and denial that their son was 'dead' and now a monster, still hurt)
Sure they didn't attack him or proclaim he's dead but still their last words and anger HURT.
Danny didn't give them a chance to open their mouths, both looking nervous and guilty, before he slams the door close and turns invisible, grabs his phone, and fly's out of his apartment to his partner's place in a panic attack.
His partner, isn't happy.

i will always be a firm believer that this was Mike's oh no i like him moment
and that's why he immediately went after El because he likes her too right? she's cute and really pretty, she's cool she has powers and saved their lifes so many times already! and he really cares for her and missed her this year and it's like Nancy and Lucas said he must have a crush on her! that must be it. so maybe if he focuses on her these feelings for Will (whatever those feelings might be) will go away and he can be normal right?
and this was his oh fuck i'm in love with him and it won't just go away but it's too late now moment

Yknow what, shout out to Finger Reader Enia.
She's the only sane Finger Maiden left in the Lands Between and she's kind and chill as fuck, reminds me of my own grandma. She's clearly loyal to the two fingers, but when push comes to shove and the Erdtree needs to be reduced to cinders she's like, "Eh it is what it is nbd lol ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯" and tells you straight up that you need a human sacrifice to progress.
Doesn't give a shit. What needs to be done needs to be done.
Then she keels over and still gives you the best drip in the game.
Shout out to best grandma 👏

Snow has always visited her father’s grave, but this time felt different. This time, her children, Ella and Louis, came along. As she stared at her father’s grave, she reminisced about all their happy memories together and how her children will never meet their grandfather.

muriel hands crowley the cup of cocoa with a slightly nervous smile, sinking down opposite her with their own.
with summer fading into autumn, teaching the angel how to make a proper hot drink has been a distracting enough hobby, although it has involved tasting a lot frankly disgusting liquids over the last few weeks. she leans back in her usual armchair, tentatively bringing the mug to her lips before taking a sip. it is a tad too hot, a non-issue for a demon, but surprisingly close to perfection.
"good job," crowley says softly, swallowing the bitter response worming its way up her throat. muriel's responding smile tugs on her lips, and she quickly hides it behind the white porcelain.
outside, the clouds continue to empty themselves above london, and the rain drums a steady staccato against the bookshop's windows. during the first few weeks of aziraphale's absence, crowley had cycled through every emotion known and unknown to humans, switching rapidly between accidentally causing anger-filled blackouts (and on one memorable occasion setting a car on fire), and curling up in a dark corner of her flat to cry.
by now, the deep ache in her chest is almost comfortingly familiar, and it is easier to breathe through the waves of rage and betrayal, though she still prefers staying coiled up on the cushions as a serpent with suppressed feelings and urges.
crowley catches muriel chewing on their bottom lip, a nervous tell they have quickly adopted in their time on earth, and raises an eyebrow, her golden eyes unconcealed.
"yes?"
as much as she wants to take out her heartbreak on every living being in a twenty mile radius, if there is one who definitely does not deserve it, it's muriel.
"i was just wondering- do you think if, i mean when, aziraphale comes back i can still stay here?"
well, now that is an interesting development.
she lets her gaze wander and takes in the recently dusted bookshelves, the pile of unread novels next to the couch in the backroom, the newly acquired plants decorating the room, and eventually lands back on the angel. lingering on the undoubtedly human clothes and soft, open hair, both going completely against angelic dress codes, and this time crowley does not hide the small smile blooming on her face.
"yes. you can stay for as long as you like."
