Anyway, Simon :3. This is totally me when I didn’t know a ritual would result in the partial resurrection of the dark lord and not a cure for the curse currently rotting me alive! I love drawing Simon’s Quest fanart fr. And yeah the third image is my profile banner at the moment of posting this, now you guys know what it’s from hehe.

whatever you do don't think about stanford era dean remembering his last birthday with his mom. he barely remembers because he was four and now he is in a bar in the middle of nowhere, maine and the fog on his brain and the buzz in his ears makes it even harder to focus but he tries, he tries so hard to rememeber the pattern on the dress mary was wearing that january day 20 years ago when she put that cake (strawberry and chocolate?) with four candles on the kitchen table. he remembers the bright winter sun outside and he swears there were a few other kids from his kindergaden around the table but he can't put a name to a face but he knows he wasn't alone and alone is all he feels right now. it's pathetic but he already tried to call john and sam. even though they're the ones who were supposed to call him, he thinks bitterly, and it's stupid, birthdays are stupid, it's a meaningless day, but he feels more abandoned than ever, sitting in some hole, wasting the last of his money for the cheapest beer. it's cold outside and john took the car so he stays in the bar; he thinks about playing pool but he already is seeing double so it's a non option. everything is dark and smells horribly and the bartender looks like he will kick him out pretty soon so he straightens up and tries to put a neutral expression on his face. he stumbles out of the bar a few hours later, a wreck, and sits on the nearest bench he finds, the river is rushing somewhere nearby, he can hear it, or maybe its the alcohol buzzing in his ears, he doesn't know, but he sits himself on that old broken bench under a crooked streetlamp and hides his face in his hands.
(oh, its a fic on ao3 now!)

You know, I read a theory that even makes sense that Kenjaku has an agreement with Geto and that Geto is conscious and knows what's going on, but I think Geto doesn't want to wake up because he has no motivation on earth, he lost his daughters and his Friend, I think he knows what's happening but he doesn't want to go back. What do you think of this theory? sorry for the text
Hi there, anon!!
Kenjaku having to enter a Binding Vow with a previous host (even if they manifest as no more than a lingering apparition in a form of muscle memory and whatnot) when changing bodies is quite an interesting suggestion! It somewhat ties neatly into the 'body vs. soul' discourse we've seen established in the manga. The two are repeatedly rendered inseperable within the story, two sides of the same coin, so whereas Kenjaku's Cursed Technique encompasses the physical body, something else may be needed to bind the soul. This would imply that Kenjaku's immortality is not entirely a product of their innate abilities, but a result of innovation and inventive application of those. How much experimentation did it require for them to figure out optimal conditions for that vow? That seems to be very much in Kenjaku's 'mess-around-and-find-out' fashion, if you ask me. And though I myself gravitate towards a different interpretation -- one that views this 'soul-binding' process as an organic, built-in effect of Kenjaku's CT -- since we don't know the exact mechanics of it, this theory has a right to exist!
Moving on to your next point, I strongly agree with your assessment that Geto has no motivation/desire to carry on with his life. Perhaps 'meaning' in this case would be a quite fitting word, too, because if he was to ever come back to life his resumed existence would lack, at least in his own view, that very thing -- meaning. Justifying past actions and past mistakes retroactively, trying to assign some greater meaning to what was rather an impulsive, emotionally driven reaction of someone who was struggling mentally for a long time with no one batting an eye, compartmentalizing complex reality into imaginary categories -- doing all that Geto essentially ran himself into a corner, a mental dead-end. In an attempt to validate himself and perhaps shut out the overwhelming sense of guilt that would otherwise eat him alive, Geto made delusional, twisted reasoning the core truth of his existence, a basis for his purpose.
What I find particularly interesting is that Geto, being himself the victim of the jujutsu society's dysfunctional system, clearly recognised its shortcomings, but attributed those to a factor only partially at fault. The telltale sign of that, as I see it, would be his confession that he never held any spite against those in Jujutsu High. This renders Geto's antagonism towards non-sorcerers misplaced. The system was put in place for a reason, it's true, but those in favour of whom that system was established should not be held accountable for its injustices. Instead of trying to improve the order, Geto opted for eliminating the reason it exists in the first place.
Where that leaves him is caught up in a struggle to achieve the impossible, breach that accursed gap between the ideal and reality. Even if Geto's goal wasn't impossible for anyone but one person alive, Gojo Satoru, his decade-long endeavour to wipe all non-sorcerers out of existence would still be in vain, meaningless. Because that simply would bear no fruit in regard to fixing the corrupt mentality that rules over the sorcerers' world.
And if it all was for nothing, just fumbling desperately for some solution, for some relief of the burden thrust upon his fellow sorcerers, futile in the end? What if what he put his life on the line for was never going to solve anything, what if he was not reaching anything with it? What if he was wrong all along? It is straight-up terrifying, to drown and erase yourself fully in pursuit of your goal and understand that all you've done, you've done in vain, misguided, wrong. And Geto couldn't undo what he'd done. He could not afford to look back, to slow down, to revaluate and reset, try to set things right. Acknowledging his fault would've been like staring into the sun. So he didn't. He kept pushing forward until he simply no more could. That's why, in my view, Geto's plan regarding the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons reads as low-key passively suicidal. He chose a meaningful way to end his life -- one that would entrust his legacy to his family, make his goals, his ideal, known to both sides. In that regard, his death is no different from Gojo's: he dies so that his dream could live on. Little did he know that this too, in fact, would be meaningless.

Simon doodles again. The poses were mostly referenced from some photos of figure skaters I found on Pinterest. They have a lot of really useful in motion poses, but I kinda ended up just using some static lying or sitting down poses for most of these oops.
I’m not sure if I should mark this mature or not since Simon is dead in two of the doodles, I usually don’t mark my stuff because it’s within the content that can be found in the game series, but I really don’t know hmmm. (ó_ò ;) I also don’t know if tumblr lets you edit that after posting it or if I’d have to repost it again, but I wouldn’t be opposed to doing that if need be.
The last two aren’t on the same page as the others. Uh the short explanation is um I don’t think he’d sleep very well.
Still not quite back in the swing of doing art or really anything again, but I’m getting there I guess.

I can't stop thinking about how Bullfrog would feel about Dolph having a past relationship with Ramon and the implications of that, because the manga sure did put a lot of Dolph ships into a really uncomfortable perspective and it's not even been released yet
Dolph was 19 when he and Ramon had a brief but consenting relationship and this is going with an alternative season one ending where the three team up for context to this post
Also to clarify: don't support this type of relationship irl and this is purely an exploration of a fictional situation with fictional characters. I'm not gonna get graphic with this but it will be touching on uncomfortable topics involving age gap relationships, drugs , alcoholism , slight dubious consent involving those substances and general nonsense that celebrities get away with. Please don't read further if that makes you uncomfortable especially if you're a minor, please stop reading this and go watch a Rayman play through instead
We don't know exactly what Bullfrog's upbringing was like but we can make a bet it was at least more "normal" and stable than Dolph's, and because of that Bullfrog is more aware of what a healthy and unhealthy relationship is (as well as him being an outsider with a different perspective then Dolph's)
Ramon is the one to spill the beans, because Dolph rarely ever wants to actually talk about his issues
Bullfrog has .... a lot of conflicting feelings upon learning that information. Confused on how either of them even got to that point. Disgusted and Angry at Ramon because hey, Bullfrog thought Ramon was a FRIEND who needed his support, how DARE RAMON do that!? How DARE Ramon expect Bullfrog to be friendly with him after telling him all that!? Especially after the Pey'J situation
But also saddened by what Dolph had gone through, and also guilty for feeling more intense about the situation then Dolph
Ramon starts off treating it more as a naughty little thing he did then the seriously messed up situation it was, I mean, all the other celebrities had hot young partners and secret affairs so it wasn't weird, its a normal thing on earth, right?
But after distancing himself from stardom and learning the full extent of how his face was used to train child soldiers , how Dolph was taken from his own parents to be one oy those soldiers, remembering how often he and Dolph got drunk and used drugs before... Before they.... It really dawned on Ramon then just how horrible the power imbalance was between him and Dolph and it makes him feel (justifiably) sick with himself
Dolph probably expresses his opinion on it the least as he didn't see it as any different to his other relationships (Like Alex) and just wants the topic dropped, especially since Bullfrog keeps looking at him with pity. Though Dolph is probably more effected by it and other relationships he had then he even realises
When Ramon tries to apologise it just , makes Dolph really annoyed and pissed off because "hey I was a consenting adult you ass" and he just wants to move on already and Ramon repeatedly trying to say sorry and bringing up all the awful things that happened between them is just making Dolph more uncomfortable by the second
.... Other than ripping off BoJack horseman idk where to go from that
TBH I probably won't touch on this particular way to portray Dolph and Ramon's relationship but I did want to throw these out the window
