you both decided on ordering out, your mom wanted to make food, but two versus one, right? throughout dinner, steve is dead silent. his eyes stay on his plate. you and your mom are passively arguing about something, but all he hears is white noise. kai. he hasn't felt this blinded by rage since, well, he was still william. 

a chicken is trying to get in his coop. it wakes up the william side of him. and steve — william — hates it.

suddenly the sound of the kitchen table banging snaps him away from his thoughts. you're getting up, tears in your eyes. "fuck you!" you scream at your mom and stomp upstairs.

usahockey: In honor of our men and women making history by both winning gold at the World Championships this past weekend, we highlight two players of the tournament, goaltender Y/N Y/LN, and center Alex Turcotte. The two of them both attended the University of Wisconsin and played for their respective hockey teams.

Y/N Y/LN spent four years with the Wisconsin Badgers and helped lead the women’s team to 3 consecutive B1G 10 Championship Titles (2023, 2024, and 2025), and 3 consecutive NCAA Championship Titles (2023, 2024, and 2025).

In the tournament, Y/LN had a .937 save percentage, and a 1.42 GAA, which propelled the U.S to a gold medal and a world title.

Alex Turcotte only spent one year with the Wisconsin Badgers and had 9 goals and 17 assists for 26 points in 29 games played.

Turcotte turned pro in 2020, and unfortunately dealt with a few setbacks with illness and injury before having a breakout year in the 2023-2024 NHL season. He is now a core member of the LA Kings alongside roommates, Francesco Pinelli, Quinton Byfield, Jordan Spence, and Brandt Clarke, all of whom also participated in the World Championships and won the Bronze medal for Team Canada.

and yeah...i think that's something i can take a lot of pride it. no one else is talking about alpha x alpha jeg, or omega reg topping james, or jeg scarification...i am a first for a lot of these, or at least one of the only people talking so openly about it. i love discussing and writing the ideas that people may not be as into for the sole reason that i want them to exist. i see a gap somewhere and i want to fill it, and i can only hope someone else wants to read it to! i truly think that a big strength of mine is understanding that what i write may not attract a lot of readers, but i am 100%, without a doubt, writing for myself <3

i write very very slow. it's a mix of not wanting anything to be imperfect and also everything on earth can distract me. also, i often ignore the suggestions of my grammar checker to change from passive voice to active...idk sometimes passive voice is needed to me

if i felt like it added to the fic i would. i used DeepL a lot when i was in japan and i've heard it's a bit more accurate than google translate so i'd prob just use that and hope for the best

ok so like....why is almost all of playfellowxxx on twitter specifically just pr0shippers?

Not trying to start anything here ive just been trying to avoid them and block like im supposed to and it just seems like im blocking 70% or more of the people in the tag bc they're pr0ship (plus the small percentage that were pr0ship AND who were apparently ped0s via proof of call out posts).

and like dont get me wrong here, im not trying to be hateful here im just not sure how to find out if someones pr0ship unless i dig (which im rather uncomfortable with doing). bc pr0shippers literally out here reblogging from ppl with "pr0ship dni" in their bios n everything and its like....confusing? and just to be clear i do not have a playfellowxxx centered account, i do not post any content on it.

Plus like there's the problem of antis mistakenly/maybe intentionally following pr0shippers accounts to the point where its in big letters "Antis stop following this account" so obviously im not the only one whos confused. I don't see how like blatant antis and pr0shippers end up like constantly reblogging from one another unless one of a few things are happening:

Ppl are blatantly disregarding the dnis to reblog bc of serious issues (like the callout posts w/ evidence of minors being preyed upon) which I'm a little iffy about bc like thats still a persons dni??? (which this doesn't cover any of the other instances where its just reblogs of art from antis and pr0ships on the opposites accounts) (plus this would be the rarest of occurrence)

2. Either side sees the art, doesn't read the bios/disregards bio so theyre unknowingly following the other (which is still iffy, for that large percentage of them that put it in their bio n pinned posts, you think it wouldn't be difficult to like...just know right?)

3. There are so little antis in the fandom that they are communicating w/ pr0ship n either claiming to be neutral/pr0ship themselves bc they don't have any mutuals and want their art to be boosted in the algorithm (which i don't believe is the case)

4. Theyre all pr0ship and just put "pr0ship dni" in their username bc of not liking the fandoms equivalent of character x themselves, or other stuff/don't want hate on their twitter posts or dms (which i know isn't right either bc theyve activity said about going on blocking sprees/getting extremely upset seeing that mutuals ended up being pr0ship?)

I mean there could be other reasons I'm just not aware of what it might be. It's honestly been something thats been bugging me for a lil while but I've been unable to speak about it freely due to not really having anyone to discuss it with.

I really don't expect a response here bc ppl have "tl:dr" in my comments before on my old account when i talked about serious stuff, but if you want to throw me a reason, go for it.

I love that they weaved in so much (and did it well).

"They're so fresh. They're fresh to the point that it's almost sexy". Fresh produce is…weirdly sexy. She gets it. Therefore, she is my favourite. Her layers make her feel so real, a part of the reason why I’m so obsessed w this show. Modern adaptations of classics are hard to get right, and I feel like this one treads those lines well. it is fresh (a full genre shift) but still manages to keep the essence.

3. Black (Not Me):

"Power is corrupting. Ideas are what have the power to transform society" My plot device of a man🥹🥹 Certainly deserved better. I could watch him wreck shit for days.

4. Dazai (Bungo Stray Dogs):

"I will break free. Time is on my side, so I've decided to leave. But leaving doesn't mean I lost." I’m so proud of him. In a story where people struggled to change, he proved that it was still possible. His sheer will to gain something out of the heartbreaking experience he had, and to keep going despite being so lonely, so unheard. But also, the maturity to know which fights to pick. There’s so much to learn from him.

6. Togawa (Old Fashion Cupcake):

!!Fanfiction read flags!!

This is my option not facts. Just what I think are red flags or stuff I read once and dip bc I don’t like it. Blah blah blah, if your feelings get hurt cry about! Love y’all tho <3

This applies to wattpad and Quotev bc I frequent those ones the most. Others may apply but I don’t really know.

I read and enjoy X Readers! So some will be X Reader specific rules!

Section 1: Judging a book by its cover (and its description):

1. When it has no cover. Like I get it, I make my own and they suuuckk but come on. Try? If ya didn’t try for the cover you probably didn’t try with the book so I’m moving on. Sorry.

2. When their is no description. Negative points if it says “read to find out” or “too lazy for a description.” I DONT KNOW WHAT IM READING BC THEIRS NO DESC SO WHY WOULD I READ IT!?

2. Emojis in Description. That’s when you know it’s written on a phone and I don’t care. A bunch of great ffs were written on phone. But that screams younger person to me and no offense but only y’all would use emojis. PLUSH I HATE HOW THEY TAKE AWAY FROM THE STORY?! I’ll be reading and then I’ll be a

3. When the title and desc have nothing to do with the story. Shit will be titled “ghost of you </3” or “broken promises” and have nothing to do with ghost or dead people or anything of the sort. AND have nothing to do with broken promises. Like why is it titled that way when it has nothing to do with the story??

Section 2: RED FLAGS! Lets go:

1. When the author uses an OC instead of Y/N. I’ve written for Y/N! Almost exclusively! It isn’t hard! And y’all will sit their and say it is. ALL WHILE TAGGING YOUR SHIT WITH Y/N? OR READER? READER INSERT, X READER? Then her name is Luna or some shit.

1.5. When the author uses an OC instead of Y/N. Back at it again but this time your SO close. Then you give her blue hair or green eyes and pale skin. YOU USE Y/N BUT YOU GIVE HER AN APPEARANCE! And your so close to being right it hurts.

3. More notes the story. I get it. You want to talk with ppl reading your books, you know it’s fun to see comments and stuff! But I didn’t come here for your life updates and stuff. Sorry but I came to read my SpongeBob x Reader not for 7 A/Ns in a row! If it isn’t related to the book, don’t add it to the book. If it is, don’t make the Authors note SEVEN DIFFERENT CHAPTERS!

4. Sigh. When the character dialogue looks like this:

(Joe: Omg! We can’t do this!

Anna: yes we can! Don’t give up!

Anna said as she jumped off the building. Joe closed his eyes and took a leap of faith after her.)

I don’t Care if it’s the best written story in the world. It could have the most moving chapters but. No. I just can’t. It’s diifrent if the characters are texting or doing something else but this isn’t it. Pls stop.

5. Emojis. Again. Okay, I just hate emojis on fanfictions. Like cool! Awesome. But come on! Even if the characters are texting it takes me out of the story.

6. Stories that haven’t been updated in FOREVER. Look at the last updated thing BEFORE YOU READ. It’s always the best fanfictions so I’d advise to not get into it if your not prepared for heartbreak when you get to the not really last chapter but last chapter.PLEASE UPDATE!

7. When the author is arguing with people on the comments. You could be right. But if leaves a bad taste in my mouth that your entertaining the trolls and didn’t just delete the comment. And if your wrong and fight with me or someone I’m on the side of? Haha I’m out, dipped.

8. I hate it when people will tag stuff just to complain about something. Like stfu I came here for bnha Not your complaint about how the omegavere is sexist and “how can anyone read this??”. Firstly, Don’t like it don’t read it. It’s simple but secound of all HOW COME ITS TAGES BHNA? LEAVE ME ALONE IM JUST TRYING TO READ MIDORYA ANGST!!

8. When someone gets pressed OVER FANFICTION LMAO! Like it’ll be a fanfiction about suicide. I get it. It’s a hard topic, I myself have struggled with it in the past. Trying to commit 5 separate times. I clicked on the fanfiction myself bc it helps sometimes. BUT THEN SOME DUMBASS WITH BE IN THE COMMENTS “this is romanticizing suicide HOW COULD YOU?”

LIKE STFU it isn’t for you! Again! Don’t like it don’t read it! It HELPS some people cope with it. Like myself!stuff like that CAN help people cope with stuff! You don’t know who’s writing it, you don’t know who’s reading it. If you can’t read it, don’t. But leave it alone. It helps, even if you don’t think so it does.

Fanfiction shit I don’t mind. (This is mostly me making fun of you now)

1. I’ve grown past spelling errors. My mind autocorrects them for me. Their apart of fanfiction! Deal with it! I’m so tired of seeing ppl complaining about it. Like if it’s really bad (like can’t understand the word bad) then fine, sure. But if it’s just something like “the vhair moved forward scratching the wooden floor below it” then move on! ONE OF YALL can call it out. But if it’s the whole comment section just know your a bit annoying.

2. Op main characters. Ima be really honest here. Y’all will hate so fast on a op main character. Screaming “Mary Sue! Mary Sue!” When the character genuinely has flaws and is interesting beyond their powers and shit. Can’t a main character just start off strong? I swear sometimes the main character is weak asf and their are still comments being like “she’s kinda op can we make her weaker?” Or some dif way of saying it. The my hero ff commenters are the worst with this. OC/Y/n could actually have “heart attack” as a weakness and the comments will still be on about how she’s too strong.

Personally I like really strong main characters, Sue me.

Okay! So that’s all for today! Obviously some things might be missing or certain pet peeves I just forgot. I tried to keep it as stuff I’ve seen other ppl complain about too and just… I don’t know. \_0_/

14. (how do you write emotional scenes? do you ever feel what the characters feel? do you draw from personal experiences?)

when writing emotional things i often do use personal experience or my own feelings, but i also do try to put myself in others' shoes too! i consider myself to be pretty empathetic (to a fault sometimes), and writing too much emotional or negative content def has an effect on me. i always make sure to space out my emotional or angsty writing pieces, and overall it can be a bit challenging handling emotions in my writing!!! i def feel what the characters feel when im writing, esp when it comes to x reader fics cuz i want to make both the readers and the characters personalities as accurate as possible!!!

23. (Best writing advice for other writers?)

WRITE WHAT YOU ENJOY. im serious, if your forcing yourself to write for a fandom, character, or anything at all that you dont enjoy it will be so draining and exhausting!!! you also are NOT obligated to obey other peoples wishes when it comes to writing reqs, trust me when i say that no one else should dictate your writing or writing style. if someone doesn't like your writing, thats their problem and if people are continuously disobeying and disrespecting your requesting rules and guidelines it is VERY MUCH OK to simply not write their requests and to set that boundary. finally, never feel afraid to write or post something if it feels too "cringe" or bad, bc the more you write the more you improve!!! keeping all those ideas and creativity bottled up inside personally made me feel so misunderstood, and i felt like i had nobody who shared my interests. thats why i personally started writing fanfiction, to feel closer to my interests and share them with others!! (also coming from a fanfic writer + reader standpoint, make a masterlist PLEASE it makes finding your fics so much easier and link thirsts as well, not just fics! i see so many good writing blogs with incredible wips or thirsts or asks that i want to read, but have only like 2 fics actually on their masterlist and it takes FOREVER to scroll and find all the posts in the archives. i just find masterlists sm easier and more organized tbh!!!)

WHERE? WHEN???? WHY????? WHATS GOING ON???? also, when the writer is describing a position or something but 2 paragraphs later the position seems completely different with no context whatsoever- like one second the characters hitting it from the back and the next theyre sloppily making out and rubbing their chests together??? when did they move???? also when theres like NO description at ALL ab the position, liek i NEED to know what im visualizing here😭😭😭 . an unnecessary amount of dialogue is also a no-no for me, like why yall having a discussion arent u fucking😭😭😭😭. AND FINALLY. THE BIGGEST PET PEEVE OF THEM ALL. WHEN ITS TAGGED AS GN BUT THEN THE ANATOMY IS DESCRIBED AS FEM OR MASC LIKE USING COCK OR G SPOT OR PROSTATE ITS SUPPOSED TO BE GN!!!! "you're such an idiot," you scoff, leaning your foot against the cinderblock wall behind you.

"your mom wasn't saying that last night," he quips with a self-satisfied smirk.

"my mom's dead." you deadpan. you're lying, of course. she's alive and probably watching tv in your parents' living room right about now.

"yeah, right. i overheard you talking about your mom like two weeks ago."

"worth a try," you respond airily, crossing your arms.

"y'know, funny enough, that's exactly what park eunyoung said to me last week when she was trying to convince me to sleep with her." he grins, and lightly kicks a loose rock with his foot as he takes a small step forward.

before you can think twice, the words are bubbling up from your throat. "hyunjae," you scoff. "you probably don't even know how to kiss a girl properly, much less fuck her."

oh, shit.

his expression changes and you regret the words as soon as they leave your mouth.

he takes a calculated step forward, and then another until he's well invading your personal bubble. you try to take a step back, but there's only wall. you're trapped between a rock and a hard place, quite literally.

you study his face closely, watching for any familiar expression to latch onto, but you find nothing. his usual playful grin is gone; the mischievous gleam that typically dances around his pupils is nowhere to be found.

regret prickles in your chest. is he actually angry? you can't tell; his expression is so uncharacteristically stony, you don't have a clue what's going on behind those eyes.

"i wouldn't say that to me." he finally speaks.

"why not?" you mean for it to come out a sharp retort, but it's far more shaky than intended.

his gaze flicks down to your neck.

in your peripheral vision, you see his hand rise from his side, and then you feel it press against the sensitive skin of your neck. his fingers wrap around it, far too gently to have any real effect, but just enough to send a message: he could if he wanted.

you swallow against his palm, eyes locked on his face.

his head tilts slightly, and his eyes finally meet yours again, and it becomes just a little harder to breathe. "you wanna fuck around and find out?"

the words themselves might've come off as terrifying had the context been different, or if it had been anyone who'd said them. but it was him, and that was a different story altogether.

your stomach sears with heat, despite your desperate attempts to will the feeling away.

a glint of something familiar shines in his gaze, and his mouth quirks up at the corner. "you like that, huh?"

you don't like the flush that creeps across your cheeks; not at all. because he's right, and you absolutely hate that.
