June 26th

In a surprise gesture of good faith, Rodolphus Lestrange announces plans to start rebuilding St Mungos in order to win over those people who are still unsure of his rule. Narcissa Malfoy, Aurora Sinistra and Orion and Walburga Black are among the first to publicly support this and reparations soon begin with various fundraisers arranged to help with the funding of it all as well.

June 27th - July 5th

Taking advantage or how things seem to have settled for the time being, talks begin to be held between Aversio and The Order, led by Ted Tonks, Kingsley Shaklebolt, Alastor Moody and Florence Wilson. Progress is slow but Marlene McKinnon, Alice Prewett, Edgar Bones and Frank Longbottom all work to make things go as smoothly as possible. But other members such as Sirius Black are still frustrated with how slowly things are moving and begin to get disillusioned with the Order.

July 6th

With the talks having proven reasonably successful if not providing the perfect outcome, Millicent Bagnold feels it important that those in the population who might still support their cause know that there are still those willing to stand against the current government. With the help of Hestia Jones, a letter is put together to send out to all those who might still support The Order and let them know that not all is hopeless.

July 8th

The first fundraiser for St Mungos is held with Natalie Dupont stepping up to take the lead on it, assisted by Orion Black and Regulus Black. Despite opposing those in power, The Order and Aversio try to do what they can from the sidelines with some members such as Gladys Gudgeon, Ivy Rosmerta and Lucinda Talkalot attending under Polyjuice Potion and others donating what they can despite their own uncertain position.

July 10th

Posters find their way into Diagon Alley in the middle of the night, written by Hestia Jones and created by Edgar Bones. They speak out against the current Minister and make it clear what kind of man he is and what his rule will result in. In retaliation, Rodolphus Lestrange announces a zero tolerance policy towards anyone who aligns themselves with either The Order or Aversio, declaring them terrorists and enemies to the government and puts his brother Rabastan Lestrange in charge of the operation.

July 11th

Sensing that public opinion might be shifting against them, Emma Vanity gives a public interview questioned by Rita Skeeter and later takes steps to persuade Gilderoy Lockhart to begin supporting them as well, feeling as though they could use some extra celebrity endorsement.

July 13th

An uneasy peace has now been established between Aversio and The Order, however temporary it may be. Still, some members remain unhappy with things and a frustrated Sirius Black ends up in a heated discussion with Lily Evans and Remus Lupin about what should be being done and which organisation has more merit to it.

July 15th

An argument breaks out between Rabastan Lestrange and Orion Black when the former realises that the older man doesn’t fully support his brother. The ensuing fight rocks the Death Eater ranks, leaving some whispering among one another whether the Lestranges are the correct family to be in power and others feeling more confident in their support of them.

July 17th

Aversio members such as Lucinda Talkalot, Ivy Rosmerta, and Sybill Trelawney are still unsure and unconvinced of The Order and decide to find some way to strike a blow themselves. Their plans never come to fruition however with Cassandra Burke overhearing them and persuading them to delay their plans until there is a better time to strike.

July 20th

The engagement of Emma Vanity and Rabastan Lestrange is announced to the world in the Daily Prophet. Plans begin to be made behind the scenes for a party to bring those who support the Lestranges closer together and fix any division in the ranks with help from Natalie Dupont, Alecto Carrow and Narcissa Black.

July 22nd

Having received her invitation, Aurora Sinistra reaches out to both Greta Catchlove and Florence Wilson with an idea to get a few members of both Aversio and The Order into the engagement party. Plans begin to be made with Alastor Moody, Kingsley Shaklebolt and Millicent Bagnold being brought in on the proceedings.

After a confrontation, Kingsley Shaklebolt forces Cassandra Burke to leave the castle, unable to trust her around such critical plans due to her neutrality. Molly Weasley is there to mediate the interaction.

July 25th

Those members of Aversio who have been staying with the Order such as Marlene McKinnon, Andromeda Tonks and Ted Tonks, along with some Order members like Edgar Bones agree that it would be a good idea to bring both the groups together even more and get them all on the same track once again. Greta Catchlove, Hestia Jones, Alice Prewett and Molly Weasley host a small gathering in the castle, doing the biggest room up and putting up as much of a feast as can be afforded.

July 29th

A party is held at the Lestrange Manor to celebrate the engagement and everyone in pureblood society, as well as a few choice extras such as Gilderoy Lockhart, has an invitation. The sunny day ends up being perfect for the garden party that had been planned and it is generally enjoyed by all. Unbeknown to all those present, four of the guests are not what they seem. Florence Wilson, Benjy Fenwick, Sirius Black and Lily Evans infiltrate the party and are under strict instructions not to engage in any violence or disrupt the proceedings in any way. They are simple there to watch, listen and report particularly to the speech that is to be given by Rodolphus Lestrange.

July 30th

Suspicious that Gilderoy Lockhart had an invitation to every party and wary of Sirius Black’s opposition to The Order, Alastor Moody meets with Benjy Fenwick to discuss his suspicions.

Later on that day, Gilderoy Lockhart decides to meet with Rita Skeeter and discusses what he knows about Aversio with her having been won over by what he witnessed at the Lestrange Manor and promises of furthering his career.

July 31st

Greta Catchlove leaves the castle along with Fabian Prewett in order to find out more information about her brother’s killer. Later that night, an unwitting Cassandra Burke is made an easy target without the protection that the castle had provided for her and Walden Macnair finally succeeds in tracking her down. A scuffle ensues but despite putting up a fight the Death Eater is the one who emerges victorious, taking the ‘traitor’ into his custody.

*please message the main if you have any questions about this plot drop and we’ll attempt to clear everything up for you. your character can be a lot more involved than they are in this – as it is only a rough outline and we tried to leave a lot of things open to interpretation, or for characters to step in. please don’t write past July 31st in game time.

The quiet tinkling music of the Gala covered the first surprised gasp of the evening; before long, the placecards on the tables were flipped by panicked party-goers. On them, a message revealed itself line by line.

Congratulations! Thank you for coming to our Masked until Midnight gala, if you’ve made it this far then I’m pleased to announce that everything is going according to plan. Each and everyone of you are now part of an exciting spell that has been perfected over the course of many years. Most of you may feel some adverse side effects over the course of the next few weeks but there’s no need to fret those are only temporary. Death though -- that’s permanent.

Your Friends - The Hunters

Under this read more we have broken down the spell that everyone at the Gala was placed under and the effects that should be expected. After the effects you will also find a list of all the characters rated on tiers; one being the most in control of their magic and three being the least. The characters on the third tear will feel the effects of the spell first, the people on the top will likely not feel anything until weeks have passed in game. Spell: qui furabatur meam. Translates to: Soul Stealer. The effect is a slow drain of the victim’s magic by means of drainage through their body. It would present, at first, like a common cold. Since wizard kind doesn’t use magic to fix everything (I. E. Harry’s vision could have been fixed) they likely wouldn’t have something to heal a common cold as it’s just a minor inconvenience and not life threatening. Depending on the victim’s magical prowess, they could survive for a week (children, wizards and witches who don’t have extreme control of their magic) or longer. (For instance if Dumbledore or Voldemort were to contract it, he would likely survive for upwards to a year before the decline happened.) The second stage is their magic becoming uncontrollable; random outbursts, spells misfiring, etc. The final stage is complete loss of control over their body to the point where they are paralyzed. They would die within days/hours of the paralysis.

hello !! some friends & i have created a harry potter mumu, and we’re looking for a few more more members! we’re going to be roleplaying in all of the verses (canon & au)! if you’re looking for a no-pressure group where people can just play all the characters they’ve wanted to including their original characters, then here we are !! we are looking to keep this rather small player-wise, so we’re looking to add somewhere between 3-7 people. you can play one character or a hundred, it’s entirely up to you ! we’re just looking for players who want to have fun roleplaying !

okay so let’s get down to business:

this group is very chill lowkey. we aren’t going to have activity checks or anything like that, but we do ask if you’re not interested anymore to let us know so we can check around to see if anyone might wanna pick up a canon you could be leaving.

we would prefer players to be 16+ because of potentially mature plots. some plots that we do not want to see on the dash are incest, racism, pedophilia, homophobia/transphobia, or anything involving graphic sexual abuse.

we would like you to have access to discord. once we have our new members, we’re going to make a discord chat that we can all chat in! we aren’t going to make it mandatory, but we highly, highly recommend having it. our goal is to make this a long-lasting mumu & we feel we need a great deal of communication to make that happen.

this is first come, first serve so if someone gets their form in before you for the character, they’ll get them! same goes for the faceclaim(s).

on the topic of faceclaims, we aren’t super picky about them, but we ask that you not choose any faceclaims that are largely considered problematic, deceased, or underage. additionally, we do ask that you refrain from repeating faceclaims in the same generation. we’d prefer if all the faceclaims weren’t repeated, but if you absolutely need to play max irons in the next generation era, we likely won’t say no! if you don’t really wanna use a faceclaim, but would rather just write, that’s okay too! on a similar note, we also are okay with you choosing more than one faceclaim for different periods in their life; for instance, andromeda has kaya scodelario for her hogwarts years, melanie scrofano for her younger adult years, and michelle fairley for her older adult years.

we don’t care if you use gifs, icons, or nothing at all. if you use gifs or icons, we don’t care what size they are. use whatever you want (but please make sure people can actually see them. 50x50 is not accessible!).

we don’t care if you format your posts or don’t, but again, please try to make sure it’s accessible. using <sub> and <small> is very difficult to read.

we are completely welcoming of original characters! we would absolutely love to see them!

you can play as many characters as you want! as you can see from the taken list below (we’re sorry!), we couldn’t really stop ourselves.

this mumu is not following a specific plotline in any of the verses. you can follow canon, do an au, write the characters at any point in their life, whatever you want! our goal is just to write the characters we love! if you want to write out exactly what happens in canon, go for it! if you want to write about james and sirius taking their bromance to narnia, go for it!

our only two real rules here are: tag your triggers & be polite!!

THE RESULTS with LORCAN D’EATH FOR COMMENTARY;;; as written by admin maria, decided by an online coin flip!

‘it’s a bright sunny day, hogwarts! we’re here at our very first quidditch game of the season and though there’s been SOME complaints of quidditch being boring,’

Lorcan D’eath obnoxiously coughed to cover up the name TRISTAN, ‘the seats are full and the cheers loud! Gryffindor or Slytherin, who will it be?!’ after his very loud & obnoxious introduction lorcan was shushed down by mcgonagall as madam hooch gathered the teams to the ground to shake hands and lay the rules of the game.

‘NOW I WANT A NICE, CLEAN GAME. FROM ALL OF YOU!’ she kicked the trunk with her left foot, the bludgers and snitch fly up and around. madam hooch chucks the quaffle into the air and the game begins!

‘YAWN!’ lorcan whines after three minutes of no fouls or interestingly questionable plays. ‘a lot of people have been wondering about who i am rooting for in this game and it’s obviously slyth–’ he doesn’t get to finish his word instead lets out a groan as the vice principal gives him a kick and a glare. ‘undecided, really. i’m yet to be wowed by either team, BUT, the slytherin seeker’s hotter, so.’ he giggles into the mic, meeting shiloh adam’s gaze with a grin. ‘WOAH! ten points to gryffindor! nice shot, mary!’ and mary managed to score a couple more even after that!

the game lasts longer than some, two hours into the game and neither shiloh nor damien have spotted the snitch and hover on opposite ends of the pitch. gryffindor leads, standing at 60 points and slytherin at 40. both ted tonks and marlene mckinnon are doing a marvelous job at blocking goals and the frustration on the captain’s face is VISIBLE.

time out is called, and lorcan takes it upon himself to stand and entertain the crowd. ‘wow! good game so far! am i the only one surprised to see gryffindor leading? i really thought emma had tricks up her sleeve but maybe they come into effect afterwards. james potter’s looking good though, eh? look, look! watch him toss his hair, it’s mesmerising!’ a professor clears their throat loudly but lorcan ignores it. ‘oh, oh!! speaking of! anyone else hear the rumour about vanity and james getting it on–’ his eyes widen as he realises he’s said too much and mcgonagall quickly pushes him aside and turns off the microphone. the students can’t hear but they can see the pair arguing about what’s appropriate to say and what isn’t! begrudgingly, lorcan d’eath is allowed to commentate once again and takes his seat with his head held high and a foolish grin on his face.

‘and now… a special message from our sponsors. madam puddifoot’s tea shop, GREAT place for a first date. shrieking shack… stay away because it’s still haunted! and my personal favourite, honeydukes; the only place that sells blood lollies! speaking of, this months flavour is o-negative! which as some of you know is–’ the mic is silenced again and lorcan whines once again only to take his spot and mumble, ‘i’m kidding. it’s not real blood, cherry. obviously. vampire jokes are not funny, guys. they’re considered rude even if you ARE a vampire.’ all the while he’s rolling his eyes dramatically. ‘anyway, back to the game!’

the third hour of the game the score is 80-80, slytherin has caught up and the game is getting HEATED. damien leccese caught a glimpse of the snitch first, dove for it but shiloh adams wasn’t far behind. students held their breath in anticipation of who will catch it but after the players disappeared over the boundaries and lost the snitch both teams were penalized and the quaffle was re-released by madam hooch.

lorcan d’eath yawned loudly into the microphone, mumbling a, ‘booooring,’ and was scolded yet again. as the game went on, every single chaser working as hard as they could, both keepers looking exhausted, even the beaters were tired of holding their bats. ‘we’re in hourFIVE people, i need a nap! find the dang snitch!’ lorcan yelled into microphone which prompted some hufflepuffs to start cheering again but instead of other students joining in, it died within seconds. similar to hour three when some muggleborns tried to teach the wave and though lorcan was all for it, not many others were.

hour SIX of the game and absolutely everyone was exhausted, but the game wasn’t to stop till hour TWELVE. students could only hope the game would end soon. gyrffindor and slytherin were still at a tie, each with a whopping 150 points! then just when everyone was on the verge of sleep, everything happened within moments!

slytherin chaser, thalia rosier, hit the quaffle to score to the gryffindor’s hoops from across the pitch and she NEARLY made it in, but gryffindor keeper, ted tonks dove in front of the quaffle, holding out his right hand heroically and managed to break the majority of his fingers but he did stop the quaffle. james potter did a loop-de-loop in the air as he tried to escape a bludger that rodolphus lestrange and alecto carrow kept aiming for him until he too, was hit in the shoulder, dislocating it. one of the gryffindor beaters hit the bludger towards slytherin chaser, marlene mckinnon and it hit her dead on. another bludger hit by alecto carrow went soarig to ted tonks once more but surprisingly, mary macdonald intercepted it with her face! and she still went strong. lorcan didn’t see the aftermath of this because WHILST this was happening, shiloh adams had spotted the snitch!

shiloh dove for the snitch, damien not far behind him and the snitch flew into the ravenclaw students in the stands thinking the seekers would stop. damien decided to fly above the stalls to watch the snitch from above but shiloh was already standing on top of his broom, inching forwards carefully when he stumbled right off the broom and into the crowd of ravenclaw students.

the laughter stopped, the cheering stopped and the pitch was SILENT. the snitch was missing and the slytherin seeker was face down in the stalls when ravenclaw, rabastan lestrange and hufflepuff, leon bloem helped the other to his feet and shiloh held up the golden snitch!

‘SLYTHERIN WINS!!!!’ lorcan screamed straight into the mic as he laughed joyously with his fist up in the air. the final tally of the game was 300-150.

EVENT: –UNTIL THE OTHER SHOE DROPS

The first sign that something is wrong is when the music stops suddenly. There’s a crackling over the loudspeakers, and silence. Aurors and guards prepare for a fight; something is definitely wrong.

The intro for the WWN Special Emergency Broadcast plays over the loudspeakers.

Something happened. Something bad must have happened. No one moves. Everything is completely still as they wait to hear what’s happened.

“Good evening, listeners.”

Tobias Greenhall’s voice booms from the loudspeakers.

“This is Tobias Greenhall, coming to you live from the WWN Headquarters in Hogsmeade.”

“Something’s not right,” someone whispers.

“He doesn’t sound right.”

“He sounds scared.”

“Many of you who listen to my program know that I have been in complete support of the recent law passed, the Wizard Protection Act. I have spoken out many times on my show about the current war happening, and I… I have always done my best to tell the truth. Or what I believed to be the truth. B-But I cannot continue something which… which is so clearly… I can’t do this. I-I can’t do this, please–”

“AVADA KEDAVRA!”

A scream goes up, not just in the party but over the radio. There is a crash from over the speakers, and the sound of several people trying to stifle their tears as there is a shuffling. Aurors are hurrying towards the doors to the club.

Someone needs to help.

Someone needs to stop this.

“Read it.”

There’s muffled crying over the loudspeakers, and a man’s voice. A girl starts crying, and then she speaks.

“If the Ministry w-w-wants to target people w-who are making this world worse, if they want to protect their people, then it should not— s-should not be inward that they turn their gazes. It should be outward, t-towards those who have tainted the pureblood lines w-with their muggle blood.”

There is a pause, and everyone waits with their breaths held for the sound of the killing curse before a boy starts to read.

“They should be looking at the vigilantes taking the law into their own hands, who run around without masks like it is their right a-and their responsibility to decide which of us are fit to be a part of the wizarding community.”

Another girl begins to read.

“We are your guardian angels, not your enemies. We are here to bring you justice, we are here to bring you purity. W-W-We are here to put an end to those who threaten the end of the wizarding society. If you are p-pure, you do not need to fear us.”

“You are the last hope for our line, for everything t-that should be most precious to our world.”

“We are not your enemies.”

“We are the only thing that can save you.”

“Years ago, the muggles burned our magical brothers and sisters for their gifts.”

“Let us see how they face the fires--”

There is an explosion, and shouting over the loudspeakers. The Aurors have made it there, and chaos has erupted. Everyone listens, terrified of what they could hear. Terrified that the Aurors won’t be able to save everyone.

The connection goes quiet, and the club is in complete silence.

It doesn’t feel right to call it peace.

People are shaken, spirits shattered. It is impossible to feel any semblance of calm in the club any longer. The party ends, and the doors are tossed wide. People flood out onto the street, search the crowds for loved ones. The horror is over now. It’s time to go home and try and recover some small piece of the calm that lasted during the celebrations.

The peace does not last long when people start to see the smoke in the sky rising all around the city. The radio station was only a distraction, something to pull the main focus away from the real action. All over London, the houses of many muggleborns are set ablaze; houses of pro-blood equality halfbloods and blood traitors have their windows smashed in. The successful arrest of the Death Eaters at the radio station seems a small victory in the wake of the chaos which follows after it. The fires are put out, the windows and buildings are cleaned up, and repairs begin.

But nothing can take away the feeling that things are very close to a turning point.

And it is not one that everyone will make it out alive from.

Under the cut you will find descriptions of where each character is and what they are doing during the incident. While no new threads may take place during the party, you may write drabbles that do, and all starters take place after the party. ---------- DURING THE INCIDENT . . .

TILDEN TOOTS, BENJY FENWICK

Things at the radio station go horribly wrong when Death Eaters barge in and commandeer the place. Everyone is forced to sit against the wall except for Tobias Greenhall, who is forced to read out a message written by the Death Eaters. After he is killed for disobeying, the rest of the hosts from the Quidditch World Cup Sendoff broadcast finish reading the message before the Ministry gets there. In the ensuing conflict, BENJY and TILDEN both attempt to stay out of the way and help the other employees of the station get to safety. They are the last two of the employees to get out of the room, and both are injured in the fight before the Death Eaters are subdued. They are both brought to St. Mungo’s Hospital to be treated.

ODELLA BLACKBURN, FRANK LONGBOTTOM, ALICE LONGBOTTOM, JOHN DAWLISH, LILY EVANS, JAMES POTTER

The hitwizards are the first to move when the radio comes on, and it is agreed quickly that they are the ones who will go while the Aurors remain behind to keep order at the club. ODELLA and several other hitwizards on duty at the party hurry towards the door to the club, when Tobias Greenhall is killed over the radio. The voice that begins to read next is Tilden Toots’. FRANK and ALICE both quickly join the hitwizards, and Head Auror Alastor Moody sends JOHN along with them. LILY and JAMES, overhearing Alastor’s commands, are determined to help, and quietly tag along. The group apparate to Hogsmeade, where they enter the radio station. A fight ensues, and there is a struggle before the Death Eaters attempt to escape. JAMES and LILY, who split off to cover back exits from the building, block the Death Eaters when they try to flee, and duel them until FRANK and ALICE catch up. The four of them subdue the Death Eaters and detain them. There are no escapees, and apart from Tobias Greenhall, there are no deaths, though several members of the radio station staff were severely injured in the fight. ODELLA, JOHN, and ALICE both go to St. Mungo’s with the station employees to be treated for minor injuries, while FRANK and JOHN bring the Death Eaters to a detainment facility with the assistance of the other aurors and hitwizards. JAMES and LILY hurry to St. Mungo’s to try and find their friends.

ALASTOR MOODY, MARLENE MCKINNON, ADOLPHIS YAXLEY, GIDEON PREWETT, EDGAR BONES, STEFAN AMBROSE, MAFALDA HOPKIRK, VERA PORSKOFF, HESTIA JONES, BERTHA JORKINS, APOLLINE BONACIEUX, GWENOG JONES, GALVIN GUDGEON, BILIUS WEASLEY, DORCAS MEADOWES, LORCAN D’EATH, STUBBY BOARDMAN

Keeping the crowd from turning into a mob or a target is the most immediate thing to focus on, and those on security detail are quick to move to action. ALASTOR calls up the nearest Order members he can find– GIDEON, EDGAR, DORCAS, and MARLENE– and quickly tells them to cover all exits and make sure that no one leaves, and that no one is getting in either. They leave to do a quick sweep of the building, but find nothing, and return to help keep the crowds as calm as they can. The party falls into panic when the radio goes dead; ALASTOR climbs up onto the stage and demands that everyone stay calm. ADOLPHIS, to give the appearance of being helpful, joins him on stage and assures everyone that it will be over soon, and they will all be able to go home. Sensing a call to help, GWENOG, GALVIN, BILIUS, and STEFAN all hasten to help keep the panicked crowds calm, while VERA, MAFALDA, and APOLLINE help with foreign dignitaries and Ministry officials. STUBBY and LORCAN are both hurried to a place of safety along with Celestina Warbeck and the other performers until the trouble is done.

FABIAN PREWETT, CLAUDIA OLLIVANDER, VIOLA ROWLE, CHARITY BURBAGE, REMUS LUPIN, SIRIUS BLACK, AMELIA BONES, MAGDA ILIESCU, ANDROMEDA TONKS, TED TONKS, MARGOT ABBOTT, CARADOC DEARBORN, RUDRA DATTA, DIRK CRESSWELL

The party floods out onto the street quickly, and when people see the smoke rising up all around London, few are quick to jump to action. FABIAN, CLAUDIA, and CARADOC head in one direction and begin putting out fires, pulling those unlucky souls who were still in their houses when the Death Eaters set fire to the buildings safe of the chaos and treating them as best they can until on-duty mediwizards arrive. CHARITY, VIOLA, DIRK, and RUDRA form up another group and hurry off in the opposite direction to do the same. REMUS, SIRIUS, and MAGDA form up another group to help, as do AMELIA, ANDROMEDA, and TED. MARGOT hurries to help those who are injured, and accompanies them to St. Mungo’s. CLAUDIA, CHARITY, and CARADOC all receive minor injuries during the rescue, and are brought to St. Mungo’s to receive treatment.

EVAN ROSIER, CASSANDRA BLACK, WALDEN MACNAIR, AMYCUS CARROW, ALECTO CARROW, BELLATRIX LESTRANGE, DARIUS MULCIBER, ANEIRIN NOTT, ANTONIN DOLOHOV, ATTICUS ROWLE, RODOLPHUS LESTRANGE, RABASTAN LESTRANGE

The signal is given only moments before the radio broadcast begins, and those chosen few selected by Voldemort himself quickly and discreetly sneak out of the party. Donning their masks and cloaks, they split into groups and begin setting houses ablaze and wreaking havoc– EVAN, ANEIRIN, and ANTONIN form up one group, and are responsible for attacking houses belonging to halfbloods, breaking windows and marking the doors to their homes with “DIRTY BLOOD” written in blood. WALDEN, AMYCUS, and ALECTO are tasked with doing the same, to see if they can keep themselves under control and do as they are told, which begrudgingly they do. BELLATRIX, RABASTAN, and RODOLPHUS are tasked with setting muggleborn houses ablaze, and they head in one direction while CASSANDRA, DARIUS, and ATTICUS head in another. The four groups manage to reach nearly every house they were told to, though a few are missed as they are forced to return to the party to ensure that no one noted their absences. Discarding their masks and robes quickly, all of them return to the party and blend once more into the crowd gathered outside of the club.

SEREFINA BURKE, BARTY CROUCH JR., SEVERUS SNAPE, REGULUS BLACK, VINCENT CRABBE, BRONTE MACNAIR, LUCIUS MALFOY, NARCISSA MALFOY

Those few left behind have a much simpler task than their brothers-in-arms, and when the chaos breaks out, they hurry through the crowds, covering for those who are off doing the Dark Lord’s bidding. Aurors trying to get a count of every person who hasn’t fled the party are confused and disoriented by the conflicting reports; REGULUS claims that he was standing with Cassandra Black until the crowds began to hurry towards the doors, and he lost track of her, BARTY and SEVERUS claim to have only just seen Evan Rosier and Walden MacNair a moment ago, VINCENT says he and Antonin Dolohov were together by the bar, BRONTE insists that she had been dancing with Aneirin Nott when the radio broadcast had begun. The covers are maintained until the others return, and once they are all integrated into the crowd once again, LUCIUS leads them in a peaceful demonstration of the good will of the purists, and they and the others remain patiently behind until the crowd has dispersed so that the Aurors know that they were not involved at all.

ANNABELLE BONES, AMOS DIGGORY, MOLLY WEASLEY, DAVEY GUDGEON, CORNELIUS FLINT, GARRICK OLLIVANDER, LAVINIA ROWLE

Family is the first thing on the minds of many, especially those with young ones at home. ANNABELLE and MOLLY are two of the first people out the doors, and both apparate home to check on their families. AMOS, DAVEY, and CORNELIUS all hastily check on loved ones at the party before they too apparate home. GARRICK and LAVINIA head to Diagon Alley to ensure that Ollivander’s and the family house are both safe before they return to look for their friends. ANNABELLE and DAVEY both go to St. Mungo’s to be treated for minor injuries received trying to fix the damage done to their homes.

ISABELLE DRYSDALE, DORIS PURKISS, GLADYS GUDGEON, MAXIN MCKINNON, MIROSLAV ORLOV, OSIP ORLOV, MARY MACDONALD, ALAIN DELACOUR, ARIANNE DELACOUR, JONATHAN BONES, PANDORA ALDRIDGE, LIHAU PARKINSON, VIVIENNE TODD, LUCRETIA GREENGRASS, DAISY HOOKUM, ADAMMA ZABINI

The crowd is quick to turn into a mob outside, and many are caught up in the frenzy of the group. It is nearly impossible to wrestle one’s way out, and those who try and move against the flow are in danger of being trampled. People are desperate to find their friends and loved ones; ISABELLE and VIVIENNE find each other and then search the crowd until OSIP finds them with MIROSLAV, who is disoriented due to a head injury sustained when he was knocked into the stage by a group of panicked partygoers after the broadcast. The four of them attempt to work their way out of the crowd, and eventually manage it. JONATHAN finds MARY and DORIS, and the three of them wait next to the stage so that they aren’t trampled until the crowds have dispersed outside before they hurry to St. Mungo’s. GLADYS finds LUCRETIA cowering in a corner, and the two of them try and make their way through the crowd safely. They run into ADAMMA and LIHAU, and the four of them make it outside. PANDORA, DAISY, and MAXIN are jostled around by the crowds as they all try to make it outside, and the three of them sustain minor injuries being knocked into things on their way out. ALAIN and ARIANNE attempt to search for their friends, and sneak backstage to try and find Lorcan D’Eath. They eventually head outside to search for others in the dispersed crowds.

---------- DAMAGES DONE . . .

ANNABELLE BONES & EDGAR BONES, RUDRA DATTA, DAVEY GUDGEON, DIRK CRESSWELL, DORCAS MEADOWES, MARY MACDONALD, BERTHA JORKINS

These are some of the first houses reached by people trying to put out the fires, and the damage to them is minimal. There is some minor fire damage, and the windows in each residence have been smashed, but there is no severe damage.

DORIS PURKISS & GLADYS GUDGEON, STEFAN AMBROSE, TED TONKS & ANDROMEDA TONKS, LILY EVANS & JAMES POTTER

These houses are not as fortunate, and the damage to them is more severe because of the fires. Moderate fire damage is done, and some property cannot be salvaged from the flames, but once the fires are put out, most of the damage can be undone. Alternative accommodations may need to be found for these individuals until the damage is repaired.

ODELLA BLACKBURN & TILDEN TOOTS, GALVIN GUDGEON & BILIUS WEASLEY, CARADOC DEARBORN & STUBBY BOARDMAN & BENJY FENWICK

These are the houses that were not reached as quickly, and the fires set had plenty of time to cause severe damage. Many personal items are lost in the fire, and even when the fires are finally put out, the damage remains severe. Individuals living in these residences will need to find alternative accommodations while the damage is repaired.

LORCAN D’EATH, REMUS LUPIN & SIRIUS BLACK, MAGDA ILIESCU, ALAIN DELACOUR & ARIANNE DELACOUR, PANDORA ALDRIDGE, APOLLINE BONACIEUX, MAFALDA HOPKIRK, AMELIA BONES, JONATHAN BONES

Each of these residences are marked with the words “DIRTY BLOOD” written on the door in blood. Halfbloods are part of the problem, after all, they are a symbol of pure blood mixing with muggle blood, living reminders of the decay of the pureblood lines. No other damage is done on these homes, however, though residents discover that the words on their doors cannot be removed.

HESTIA JONES, ISABELLE DRYSDALE, VIVIENNE TODD & GWENOG JONES, OSIP ORLOV & MIROSLAV ORLOV, CHARITY BURBAGE

These residences all belong to public blood traitors, but were left untouched. This attack wasn’t focused on them, after all, and if they join the right side, then there’s no need for violence towards them.

It makes for a convenient excuse for the purists and the Death Eaters that purebloods were not targets of this attack, and so it makes sense that none of their homes were damaged in the attacks. These residences were left untouched.

EVENT : PUT YOUR BEST FOOT FORWARD–

In times of chaos, distraction is always welcome, and the National Quidditch League is sparing no expense at all to make sure that the English National Team’s sendoff celebration is just that. Areen Bakri, the President of the NQL, has arranged a huge party at one of the biggest clubs in wizarding London, hired performers and bands, and invited not only the entire English National team, but every team in the National Quidditch League of Britain, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales to come and participate in the monumental sendoff. Celebrities, athletes, politicians, and stars gather for the sendoff, not wanting to miss the chance to wish the English team well before they depart for Barcelona for the Quidditch World Cup at the end of the week.

And really, the party is a welcome distraction from the current tension. Minister Minchum times the passing of a new law especially well with the beginning of the Quidditch World Cup; put into place just two days before the sendoff begins, it is now legal to search private property without a warrant, and for anyone to be arrested and held indefinitely without a trial. This obvious breach of human rights and justice has been extremely controversial, but heavily supported by the Ministry, the Daily Prophet, and the WWN in an attempt to get it to settle. This law, entitled the Wizard Protection Act, has infuriated not just purists, but members of the Wizengamot as well, and discord in the Ministry has been higher than ever before. But the coverage of the new act has been fairly minimal in the wake of the near constant coverage about the Quidditch World Cup. Minister Minchum counts it as a double victory when objections about the law are lost in the excitement over the World Cup.

“Welcome, everyone, to this explosive day.”

Celestina Warbeck’s voice croons into the microphone as she holds out a hand. The English National Quidditch team march out onto the stage, striking their team pose, preening on the stage as the crowd cheers. Celestina’s voice croons into the microphone once again.

“Please join me in giving our brilliant and talented team a proper sendoff to the Quidditch World Cup! Put your hands in the air and give them a cheer, won’t you?”

The crowd erupts into excited applause and cheers as the English Quidditch team take their bows, at ease and basking in the attention on the stage and grinning at Celestina as she blows kisses in their direction. She grins back at the crowd.

“I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’ve got a Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love for these dolls, don’t you?”

The crowd feels like it’s filled with electricity as the energy all but radiates through the crowd.

Celestina points to the drummer.

“Hit it.”

The beginning notes of her famous hit, “A Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love” begins, and the crowd falls into dancing and celebration. It’s impossible to tell that a war is happening with so much energy and excitement in a room; it’s like the entire club has been transported somewhere completely untouched by the Death Eaters. Dress robes and gowns flash under the lights, people laugh, and champagne pours as the club is flung into full party-mode.

The QUIDDITCH WORLD CUP SENDOFF EVENT has officially begun! You may now post starters and other things related to the event. This event is not mandatory, but participation is strongly encouraged! Please remember:

Defense is the best offense, and the Order has decided not to take any chances this time. Though all Order members are expected to keep an eye out for suspicious activity today, Dumbledore contacted specific members to pay extra attention to what is going on, and to make sure that things do not end in disaster or tragedy. The party is the perfect target, after all, with people of importance from all over the UK in attendance, and no risks are being taken. These individuals are to attend the party as normal, but be on the lookout for anything that might go wrong and handle it before it becomes a disaster.

The night before the party begins, Voldemort summons twelve of his Death Eaters to him for a special briefing. They are told to attend the party, and make their presence there known, so that everyone remembers that they were there, but to not cause any trouble. And to be ready. They are also warned that if they speak a word of their meeting and orders from him to anyone, he will not hesitate to show his displeasure towards them. They are dismissed, and the next day, all of them attend the party as normal.

ODELLA BLACKBURN, FRANK LONGBOTTOM, ALICE LONGBOTTOM, ALASTOR MOODY, JOHN DAWLISH, ADOLPHIS YAXLEY, MARLENE MCKINNON

The Ministry wants to ensure that nothing is messed up for this party, and that no trouble occurs. The Minister knows what a catastrophe it would be if things were to end in tragedy, and he’s not going to risk it. So, several members of the DMLE and their trainees and work partners are hired to work as extra security for the party. They are permitted to attend the part as normal, but must be in uniform and check in regularly with the private security hired by the National Quidditch League for the celebration.

HESTIA JONES, GALVIN GUDGEON, GWENOG JONES

Members of National Quidditch teams are expected to be in their finest party mode, and along with the English National team, they are one of the highlights of the party. They attend the celebration as normal, and each of them wears a small badge with their team’s symbol on it to show that they are a Quidditch player, and they must pose for photographs as well as talk with many special members of the party. They are also all responsible for helping to collect donations for Celestina Warbeck’s charity, The Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Unity Foundation.

BERTHA JORKINS, APOLLINE BONACIEUX, LUCIUS MALFOY

Certain members of society and the Ministry are especially important at this party, and are encouraged to mingle with as many people as possible. BERTHA JORKINS and LUCIUS MALFOY are both requested to make as many connections as they can at this party, as both of their departments are heavily involved, while APOLLINE BONACIEUX is hired as a translator for anyone in need of one during the evening.

LORCAN D’EATH, STUBBY BOARDMAN

Both are hired as entertainment while Celestina Warbeck is taking her breaks during the party, and are also encouraged to help to collect money for Celestina’s charity, The Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Unity Foundation.

TILDEN TOOTS, BENJY FENWICK

Members of the WWN Radio Station are participating in a roundtable discussion and live broadcast of the happenings of the party. Radio employees are the only ones who are not permitted to be at the party, as they have to work during and after it.

This is a night to celebrate, a time to enjoy, and they are free to do so.
