Do you think jerejean will be endgame? I feel like out of everyone Jeremy is the best fit for Jean
o ya 100% i think Jeremy and Jean are the best fit for each other. they’ve got chemistry, they’ve got shared goals, just symbolically i think they’re good for each other, and i love the dynamic it adds to each of their characters ie Jean liking people who are optimistic/bright and sunny (Renee, Jeremy) and Jean being able to read Jeremy really well/be attuned to whatever he’s repressing lol (I’m just assuming that’s where their dynamic is headed since Jean already has been so perceptive about Jeremy’s feelings)
for Kevin and Jean, i think that Kevin definitely doesn’t feel the same way that Jean did (i think Jean’s kind of moved on a bit), but even if Kevin did like Jean back i don’t think it would be the healthiest option for either of them. personally i just absolutely love the dynamic of Kevin and Jean’s current relationship, how it seems imbalanced with Jean liking Kevin and only having Kevin to rely on, but Kevin not quite as invested (but obv still caring for Jean)
and Jean and Renee just don’t see each other enough, i think it’s been set up narratively that they’re just friends now

Y'all... I'm so sorry but I really don't have any more ideas for the trollhunters AU 😭 I am SO flattered you guys like it so much and happy to have inspired you guys, but honestly I feel so bad 'cause I only really posted it because I didn't think I'd make more, if any content for the AU. It was just sitting in my folders collecting dust for like 9 months, and aside from the one recent comic I did for the funny scenario, I don't really see myself making more content for the Trollhunter's AU 😭😭😭Especially not lore stuff.
I feel REALLY bad that the AU got pushed to the back-burner, I didn't expect so many of you guys to like it so much.
BUT I'm very happy to let you guys take what ideas I had and run with it! I'm sorry I don't think I can contribute more to the AU other than what I've already posted. Maybe I'll revisit it at some point, who knows?

Are Hearttypes/Synpaths *really* taken as seriously as Kintypes?
I’ve been having a lot of thoughts about my alterhumanity for a while, and a big question that comes up is “am I otherkin, or otherhearted?” The muddly struggle of sorting out “ID with vs. ID as” makes up the meat of this conundrum, and could merit several posts on its own, but another facet of the issue is quite notably one less-possibly-subjective thing: how the community seems to present and identify otherheartedness.
It’s been brought up numerous times how nonhuman experiences outside of ’kin and theriotypy are horribly underrepresented; even resources for non-spiritual individuals within those communities are woefully scarce. If you’re copinglink, a synpath, or even just don’t have memories from your ’type, you’re going to have a hell of a lot harder a time finding community, resources, and-- most tragically-- firsthand accounts of what it’s like to be any of those things.
You may have noticed, as I have, that most of what could be argued to be the “big name” bloggers on here who post informatives on otherheartedness, are also of an alterhuman identity that’s more talked about (therianthropy, fictionkin, daemon-having, etc.). There’s nothing wrong with this, and I’m quite glad it gets talked about in-depth at all, but it’s rare to find experiences from people who are primarily otherhearted. Go to the blog of anyone who’s both otherkin and otherhearted, and you can pretty much guarantee that their posts are 99% about kintypes, and that they mostly bring up their hearttype when asked specifically about otherheartedness, or they’re otherwise making an informative post about it. Maybe they’ll reblog an aesthetic post once in a while, or show you some pictures of their hearttype they have hung up in their house.
In general, despite frequent and ardent claims as to otherwise, the vibe I pick up is that being otherhearted really isn’t as intense or personal as being ’kin. It’s hard not to be a tad disheartened when I’m seeing somebody talk on about how being ’hearted is no less valid or powerful an alterhuman identity than ’kin, how it’s something that can most certainly mean wishing to be the thing and that it’s a lot more than just liking or relating to it... only for them to turn around and describe their own otherhearted experiences in detail, and speak at length at how it’d feel alien and improper for them to be the Thing, how in their life, despite degree of alleged connectedness, it kind of does wind up manifesting as a thing they like a lot, how they totally can’t see themselves being the Thing even if they have shifts of it or consider it something they have a non-’kin kinship with.
The “with vs. as” confuddle makes a strong return in the issue here, but the strong emphasis on the “you are not, would not be this thing on any level”, despite sometimes including “feeling like you should be the thing” being listed as a frequent symptom of ’heartedness gets a little... I don’t know what it gets, but it doesn’t feel very nice, and it makes it feel like it’s less the right ID for me.
Outside a few scattered and small posts, you don’t see many folks talking about trying to behave more as their hearttype, or look more like it. Lots of talk about feeling a strong connection to and fondness for them, but much less in terms or desire to do things like acquire gear, find others of similar types... less talk of longing and existential dysphoria, especially if the poster is already otherkin (notice how if you go into the otherhearted tag, how many of the posts are tagged also with a specific kintype. I know experiences can overlap, but do notice this).
On one claw, it makes sense. After all, if your hearttype is a dragon, why try and present as a dragon or mope over not being one if you already know that you’re truly a wolf? But that’s exactly the thing I’m pointing at here. It’s not taken as seriously or personally as part of one’s nonhuman identity. I can’t read minds and hearts, so I can’t say how closely one may or may not hold their hearttypes to who they are and how they are, but that’s how it comes across to me.
I get very much pensive over how my personal experiences and feelings seem to stagger haphazardly somewhere between what defines “otherkin” and “otherhearted”, and wonder if either of those is even the accurate term for me at all.
Sometimes I wonder if there are entities out there who are truly otherhearted or other sorts of alterhuman, but call themselves ’kin because the general firsthand accounts of what ’heartedness is like to experience don’t sound personal or deep enough to match how they feel their own nonhumanity. I really wonder.

I want to write. A saiki k x superman crossover. SO BAD.
Luckily for me, I have actually seen both shows/media (to an extent), which feels increasingly rare these days lmao. I've got two ideas, and I don't know which one I like more. I will say this ended up being a LONG POST.
Either an accidental dimension cross, where saiki gets teleported to dc. He spends a couple hours figuring out what's going on, exploring his options and getting important lore via telepathy, but without being willing to mind control some hotel for a room or whatever he winds up people watching atop a skyscraper in some American city, just absorbing the concepts of public power use and heroes and aliens and all sorts. Reflecting on it's differences. That's when Clark decides to check in on this kid who hasn't moved for hours on patrol. Their heartbeat is calm, no stress, so he wasn't worried but he really should check.
Saiki, of course, has heard all about superman. What's available to the public, at least. An alien. He might feel better if he were an alien, at least then he'd know why. He doesn't really expect him to appear, but maybe he should have. Because it's only seconds after they greet each other and superman moves to sit down that saiki is hit with a plethora of background subconscious that's he's so used to himself. 'check your grip don't react move slower look away from the skeleton check your grip you didn't hear that relax your eyes you'll need to reapply bruise makeup after yesterday check your grip don't get distracted ignore ignore ignore-'
Ah. Maybe here. Here is someone who... Might understand.
I think they'd get on very well. Secret identities because you just want a normal life. Sometimes you can't help to help. You know a million private things you shouldn't and it's not your fault. No one ever shuts up even when they're silent and you're living in a world of cardboard. Superman would definitely check saiki was actually human XD. Maybe a bit of banter. Saiki gets to vent and talk and supes gets someone who isn't a blood relative lol. They talk until sundown and watch the shrimp colours and after Clark treats saiki to something sweet.
The other is a world fusion au, where saiki grows up alongside aliens and demons and maybe superheroes. Would it be better if he was the same gen as the jl or maybe younger?
What if saiki was kryptonian though. Some weird flavour. And his parents never think about it because baby saiki decided they were his parents and so they were. They just found a weird hunk of metal in the mountains on their honeymoon and little kusuke was so young he'd clean forgotten he had a new baby brother! He got over it though! So saiki grows up not knowing and eventually finds a cheap germanian ring, with a fake emerald in the center. It's blissfully silent, but wearing it too long makes him feel a bit nauseous. To be fair, blocking his own powers probably isn't very healthy. He heard there would be an eclipse tonight, over the ocean, and he wants to go see.
He's not alone. There's someone else there, also flying high above the ocean, hundreds of miles away from any land mass. His thoughts are - blurred, a bit faint, like a radio channel he's not properly tuned in to.
The other person, they noticed him too. They're miles apart, it shouldn't be possible. Another psychic?
I don't know which way it would go from there. If it was a same age, it'd be before everything hits the fan, narratively. Saiki and Clark would spend after school going to each others houses (though 80% of the time saiki would be the one going to Clark's) across continents, bonding and testing each others powers, getting into petty challenges. They both would be so good for each other, as equals, and saiki especially needs healthy friendships at that age. Then Mrs Kent mentions how Clark was found one night over dinner, blindsiding saiki because it just never came up in their everyday lives. Everyone assumes saiki was too, that he must be whatever Clark is, but he's not...?
And then they find the fortress of solitude. Meet jor el. And yeah, he very much is.
Psychic, yes. Human? Not so much. In fact, his parents were famous oracles who predicted the death of krypton to such an extent they were dismissed as fear mongers despite their powerful abilities. Jor had shared ship tech with them but never knew if they managed to use it.
Featuring several major identity crises for poor saiki and eventually a hero partner because Japan might be left mostly alone but metropolis sure isn't and unlike saiki supes can't duplicate himself (he's holding out for a yet but saiki just rolls his eyes at him when he says that). There's eight people who found the jl. Saiki REALLY likes mm. Batman is a traitor to normality.
If it were canon ages, there'd be a lot of mentor adoption. Saiki would appear helping to stop some alien invasion with his bare hands and then bows and tries to duck away. He isn't interested in hero stuff no siree but supes keeps politely tricking him into coming round to the farm, where he meets kids in similar situations (bcz supes adopts kon here f u) and sees how they handle it. Lots of tag teaming and attempts at pranking that all fail the saiki k way. There's so much else in the world they don't doubt saikis just Like That Psychic until he brings his ring. They all hone in immediately that 'that's kryptonite' and saiki maintains that it's the metal not the gem that muffled him until someone straight up steals the gem off the ring and he freezes in horror.
Lots of hijinks including 'you're supposed to be in school! Not JAPAN' and packs of overpowered teenagers roving the Japanese mountains looking for a possible krypton pod. Kusuke is feeling VERY VALIDATED RN and also incomprehensibly furious. It's a comedy of errors whenever any of them show up at saikis school or when he's with his friends. His parents remain oblivious while he grapples with either telling them he's adopted (painfully ironic), somehow undoing a decade and a half of mind control, how he'd even go about it... Makoto wakes up one night in Brazil because he made a comment in his house when kon was staying over for tea at saikis.

Tbh I'm surprised nobody else has brought up the idea of Richard being abused too
It feels like a lot of potential for it and an explanation (aside from their status) as to why Roy never got help for it either -- Richard thought it was normal.
Now this is just making me imagine a scene where Carmen remarks that Roy will "grow out of it" (it being his behavior) like Richard did in front of the other Hatz and Ross and Robert just share a Look
Anddd now I'm wondering how much Carmen knows
TW for discussions of fictional CSA/SA and mentions of alcoholism
Me too, I thought it would be an obvious assumption but I guess not.
Exactly, I’ve seen the fandom explore Carmen and Roy’s relationship regarding his CSA but never with Richard. I think it’s ashamed because there’s a lot you can write for the relationship, even outside of their CSA.
Omg that’s a good scene idea. The Hatzgang are realized there is a deeper issue, and Roy has to unfortunately unpack that generational trauma. I can see how learning his dad is a possible CSA victim, like him, starts pushing Roy to tell his parents but also discourages him because basically Richard unknowingly knew Roy was SA but never recognized it because he doesn’t know he was SA too. I also believe Richard normalized his brother’s actions too. It’s truly devastating how Richard indirectly contributed to the normalization of Roy’s abuse but he doesn’t know it’s SA. He believes those fun “games” him and his brother played were normal family bonding activities and is happy to hear his son is getting along with his brother, a brother he admired when growing up.
These headcanons might change as the series continues and the deeper I get into research.
I headcanon Carmen doesn’t know anything but has suspected something was off a few times. She never thought anything of Richard’s behavior at first because he alway been this way. When they became adults, she started questioning as Richard still had issues with intimacy at that point in their relationship and his alcoholism was at its worst. (Short ver: Richard started drinking at a young age to cope with trauma of his SA and the Uncle encouraged this, buying him alcohol for various reasons. Modern day, Richard is a functional alcoholic but has gotten better with his drinking)
As of the moment, Roy’s parents are unaware of Roy’s CSA. The day the Uncle died, Roy did get in trouble but for separate reasons. Carmen and Richard were mad at Roy for hanging out with “plebeians” and sending them to one of his uncle’s private properties. Roy doesn’t feel comfortable telling them yet because they’re snobby, judgmental people, so he assumes they won’t react well.
