i feel so bad when i say i find comfort in childish things like drawing or stuff like cartoons, because it makes me look immature to others around me, but at the same time i just can't help but giggle everytime i do it because it fills me up with joy or something
i just wanna talk about my favorite poses in drawing or my favorite characters for hours and hours without them interrupting me to tell me how STUPID IT IS OR TO MAKE ME STOP IN GENERAL

ok so maybe now that we all calmed down it’s time to say my two unrequested cents about the w.i.t.c.h. reboot
i’m happy that the comics has not been forgotten by disney, but i am not as hyped as i could be about this project.
i’m italian and belong to that generation who was there back then, going every month to the edicola to buy the new issue of the comics, and i was very hurt and disappointed when after ludmoore’s arc they radically changed the looks, the type of content and the structure of the stories, in an attempt to become attractive for the new teenagers (whereas we, the “original” readers, were growing up and were not the target anymore)
and they deprived us of cedric and the potential of a mature relationship between him and orube but that’s mostly my personal problem
anyway, the first issue i have which keeps my hype at bay is that reading that there will be another attempt to attract today’s teenagers makes me think about that very first attempt back then and it is inevitable for me to have prejudice about it.
the second issue i have personally is that barbucci is basically my god and changing the style of what he created and made me start to draw feels somewhat uncomfortable to me.
but i will for sure buy this graphic novel and read it, because i love w.i.t.c.h. and i’m curious about this project. just as most of the old fans will do - i wonder if perhaps they would have a better guarantee of success if they made a reboot targeted to the original audience who is now adult, rather than to today’s teenagers who perhaps are not interested in comics…

the way both teen wolf and supernatural have ties to DC… tyler hoechlin’s clark kent meets misha collins’ harvey dent
also colton haynes is roy harper in Arrow and jensen ackles voices jason todd in Under The Red Hood so that’s a thing

I think we all need a reminder that there are no predetermined rules set in stone for how your relationships are supposed to be. If you want to cuddle and hug and hold hands and kiss your friends and have it be purely platonic, that’s your call. If you want to have a romantic relationship with someone and never have sex and only hug, that’s your decision. If you want to be in a QPR, have fun. If you want to have something in between or all or none that has no label, go for it. You don’t owe anyone a label on your relationships and you don’t have to conform to the traditional definitions of what your relationships are supposed to look like. If you hold hands with your platonic friend, a message will not descend from the clouds declaring that you must now enter a romantic relationship. Do whatever the fuck you want with your relationships (as long as it’s consensual) because they’re your relationships, not society’s.

If you can vote then please do, it does in fact make a difference.
However if you can't vote for whatever reason, please don't feel guilty.
Voter suppression is a huge problem in the US, it's not your fault that your rights are being abused. That includes being eligible and even registered to vote but having barriers that prevent you from as actually voting. That includes having physical or mental health issues that prevent you from going in to vote or sending in your ballot on time. It isn't your fault that this country makes voting extremely difficult for all but the most privileged. It doesn't make the results "your fault" and it doesn't make you a bad person.
If you are able to vote then please do. If you are privileged enough to be able to, then please use that privilege. It may feel like change doesn't come quickly enough, but one step forward is better than five steps back.
Vote because conservatives don't want you to, vote because there are tons of people who can't. If you're one of the people who can't vote: remember that continuing to live in a society that is actively hostile to you is an act of defiance in itself.

i must say i'm quite glad i've been exposed to various corners of the queer community over the years, it's given me quite a lot of insight on stuff i never really thought of until recently
like, for one, gender is a fuck. he's a guy, she's a gal, whatever, i'm a robot and you can't tell me what to do! it's made me immune to so much by just saying fuck it to the binary and accepting whatever funky things people decide to be. you're a cat? awesome! you're a doll? hell yeah! you're an attack helicopter? based as hell for reclaiming that transphobic joke as your own gender!
in a similar vein, learning that labels are a facade was probably one of the greatest revelations for me. you could be the straightest and most cis guy out there and still love wearing a dress, you could be a woman and a lesbian but still prefer he/him pronouns, you can just not label yourself because it's none of their damn business!
and this is all why i really don't get all of those people who are like "bah humbug bi lesbians don't exist" or whatever because like. at the end of the day, lesbians are women who love women. who cares if they also like guys? they can call themselves whatever they damn please. and so what if they use different pronouns? or hell, who even cares if they're nonbinary and only slightly think of themselves as a woman in the first place? gender's a social construct anyway, so why should we force everyone to play by the same rules that we're supposed to be breaking?
my existence as a being on this earth can not be placed on a binary or a spectrum, so why should my labels fit some imposed sense of order? i may be quite young in the grand scheme of things, but from all accounts i've heard, the first pride was a riot. where's that energy now?
and of course this isn't to say "labels are terrible and nobody should have them", hell no. call yourself a gay guy, call yourself a trans gal, call yourself an enby lesbian all you want! i'm just saying, why should we force others to fit into a label they aren't comfortable with? why should we prevent others from using a label they think defines themselves well? what are you, the police?
if you have your own experiences with this, feel free to add them in a reblog :)
if you have any gripes with what i've said, you can shove them up your ass :)

If they ever make a Moriarty the Patriot live action adaptation (godforbid honestly), I would like to present my fancast for Sherlock: Hale Appleman.
You cannot tell me he wouldn't look SO GOOD as Sherly, just look at Eliot Waugh from the Magicians with longish hair.

As a child, I spent a lot of time with local elderly people. I was the favorite "granddaughter" of all the grandfathers in the district, drew postcards for them and listened to their stories about youth with great delight. So when I finally watched Hammer Dracula, and especially part of 1972, seeing Van Helsing, my inner child screamed with delight, because I remembered that wonderful time among such lovely people! This was a pretty good reason for my hyperfixation. Honestly, Christopher Lee reminded me very much of grandfather Vladimir, who joked funny and carried me in his arms. And he had cool glasses that I really liked. Peter Cushing is a kind of collective image.

Friendly reminder that while Carpenter is aromantic, we are not sure she’s also asexual. Yes, aroace rep is important, and as an aroace person I would love to see it once more, but aroallo people have even less rep in their hands, and thus need it even more. They are an important, everpresent and radiant part of the aro community. So please, when you write things about Carpenter, keep her aromantic identity in mind, but do not automatically assume she’s also ace. I personally headcanon her as aroallo. Also, to those of you who draw her with the aro ring, you’re all the real MVPs ♥

One thing that always confused me about tmnt 2012 is the time-line, because from what I understood, seasons 1-3 happened in the spawn of 2 years (and maybe it has been a year between seasons 4-5).
Because in the second season finale Casey says "this is far worse than last year's invasion" (ig the technodrome) then in season three finale the Supreme kraang says they've been repairing the.. Technodrome... For the past 2 years.
But here's the part that starts getting confused.
In season 4 they get back in time 6 months before the destruction of the Earth, and, in an episode they meet their 87 counterparts, in the ending of that episode in the 87 dimension suddenly appears a portal with tigerclaw inside (and this is referring probably to the Manhattan project)
So, here's what gets me confused, because, they went back in time of 6 months... And in season 3 there has also been stated that they've been in the farmhouse for 3 months... So
HOW TF DOES THAT TIME-LINE EVEN WORK, LIKE, DID THEY HAD THE SECOND HALF OF SEASON 2 TAKE PLACE IN A MONTH AND THEN THEY SPENT 4 MONTHS IN THE FARMHOUSE AND THEN 2 MONTHS AFTER THERE WAS THE DESTRUCTION OF THE EARTH???? HOW DO YOU WORK TIME-LINE 😭.
Also, another part that confuses me is in season 3, in the frog episode, Mikey says that he's 15... When Casey literally said in season 2 finale that it has been a year since the technodrome invasion
Like, I love 2012 tmnt, but I really wish they never used sentences like "oh some weeks/months have passed", also I'm sorry if this didn't make much sense but
I'm in a hurry
I don't speak English as my first language
I might edit it a little bit later
Gotta go now
