anyway. hi :) prime defenders huh. this is gonna be less of an essay and more of a sleepy ramble but ohhh i have so many thoughts. they all process things so differently and none of them are good at it they all need therapy so bad. ms.g where is the hero therapy why didnt you build that into w.a.t.c.h ma'am

vyncent is probably the best at actually processing things out of all of them, he just internalizes everything to the point where he wont talk about it unless hes pushed past the breaking point. vyncent is actually very.. emotionally intelligent? i want to say mature but that feels like im singling him out because hes the oldest. i just feel like because he grew up on Fauna and had to be in basically survival mode in a world full of monsters trying to kill you.. that makes a person grow up quicker than they should. i think vyncent had a good childhood and for the most part his parents took good care of him but just.. living in that world doesnt seem like it leaves room for a whole lot of expressing emotions. vyncent is good at quick analysis of a situation, but unless a problem directly interferes with the current goal he doesnt externalize it to everyone else. but bottling up his feelings and emotions just builds up pressure over time until something like the lich makes him blow up and let it all out at once, usually in a dramatic monologue format bc condi is really good at those god damn it. also they played off the fact that vyncent said all of that to the lich and then missed his attack as a funny thing but i like to think of it as. he got too overwhelmed w his emotions and lashed out too soon it made his fighting messy. vyncent is so angry and honestly after what hes been through he deserves to be !!!!

william wisp. my boy. god hes just like me fr so much so that it physically hurts sometimes. anyway. i always think back to the scene where theyre all in the cabin talking about themselves/sharing backstories and william keeps desperately trying not to talk about himself. the fact that hes so ashamed of his powers he hides wisp form every time. two of his powers are LITERALLY a) turning invisible and b) turning intangible, usually as an excuse to leave whatever situation hes in ("accidentally" falling through the floor at opportune moments in season 1) . theres. a thing that happens at the end of episode 13/beginning of epidode 14 that youre really close to and i wont spoil yet but god it has to do with this so extremely much please come back to my inbox when you get there. youll know what it is trust me. um. yeah. so anyway. i think a lot of this comes from a place of. he doesnt want anyone to be scared of him. williams not stupid hes incredibly smart and insightful he knows his powers are objectively SCARY. hes scared of himself constantly, he doesnt want anyone else to feel that way about him, so he shifts focus whenever those aspects of himself are brought up because if someone were to think about it for any amount of time theyd realize the truth that hes scary and dangerous to be around (<< william logic. hey remember how one of the reasons he originally left deadwood was because the monsters there were attracted to the wisps and therefore Him so he left to keep his friends/family out of danger)

i think a lot about williams death and the immediate aftermath, i dont know how much you actually know and how much of this comes later but . how does he go home after waking up from that. his parents know about his powers, so they MUST know what happened. what do you think he told them when he god home muddy and dirty and broken and probably bloody after being missing for. god knows how long. how does he look his mother in the eyes and tell her her little boy is dead. but hes also not because hes standing right in front of her. how the fuck do you think he felt the first time he went into wisp form and saw his body laying there !!! of course he wouldnt want to talk about that!!!! youre gonna have to pry william wisps emotions from his cold dead hands !!!!!!!

dakota's response to the ashe situation was to run away in the woods and do nothing but train for 10 months. he didnt think about it for 10 months. i dont even have a whole lot to say about dakota other than like. stunned silence whenever his inability to process trauma is brought up because grizzly does such an incredible job at being like "you ask dakota how hes doing and his face is just blank" << paraphrased actual quote from an episode i cannot remember which one. either 11 or 12 ?

also because im thinking about him im including ashe in this. we didnt get to see a whole lot of his canon reactions to extreme emotional situations so a lot of this is just coming from My Mind but ashe seems like hed be the type to repress a lot of his emotions too. being alone in your house/in your room for extended periods of time will do that to a guy. i think he feels a lot of things and will probably very openly cry/scream/get angry when hes alone but as soon as he knows another person is there he can immediately flip the switch to turn it all off like nothing happened. very much a deadpan "im fine." if someone asks how hes doing, even if hes got like. the remainder of tear tracks down his face. cannot physically express his emotions in the presence of someone else

the BEST one in my opinion is the collective meltdown we all had when louis wore a tank top for the first time in cuyahoga falls. but i also really enjoyed going to three of his shows!! i put them under the cut bc im being nice and not flooding the dash from everyone else’s posts

so i had planned my vacation last year so my official first day was the cincinnati date (a christmas present from regretfully my dad). it happened that i think the next two shows he did (i might be wrong) were within 2 hours of me, columbus and indianapolis, during my vacation. indy is where my ex lives so we decided to go together and i went to cbus and cincinnati by myself.

these are from my cincinnati date! i had a joke beef with louis because the past 3 times i saw him, he wore a white polo. v glad to not have that beef w/ louis anymore

my favorite story from this show is that there was a mom and her 2 y/o daughter at the show near me. it was the daughter’s first show and she was really excited for it. everyone around us kept giving her little gifts and bracelets and just 😭 really sweet to see!! at the end of the show, the girl starts crying because louis left (same girl) and she asked her mom where he went and she kept telling her it was his bedtime and he needs to sleep

these are from cbus! the venue was weird and there was a minor league baseball stadium next to the venue that had a game at the same time as doors opening. so all of us are in line waiting and these baseball fans are going inside and wondering why there’s this long ass line next to the venue. it was also hell in line because of the game and doors opening. BUT i did see tank louis in the flesh so 🫶🏻🫶🏻 worth it

and these are from indy!!! this was the show i went with to my ex. he had previously seen 1d on otra so he didn’t know what to really expect (he also is into kpop and those concerts are notably different than other genres). after a few songs, he leaned over to me and told me louis walks around like he has the biggest dick in the room and it’s hot to see (same). the only story i can remember from this show from the audience is someone threw up in pit. venue had like alcoholic slushies??? and someone threw that up. also i’m on the official LTHQ ig for that photo dump. i only know this bc i wore my fucking shrek bucket hat to this show and there’s a shot you can see my stupid hat in.

i will also miss shirt bets and @allwaswell16 forgetting to do shirt bets. and the meltdown we all continued to have with every outfit. i love my favorite little white man 🫶🏻🫶🏻

i really like how outis' magic bullet id story and then der schutze's abno event work around what it means to "sell your soul", both involve the contractee giving up what they love the most in one way or another... i find it very fun that outis undertakes it very confidently- as long as she can return home paying with her life is not too high a price. but for heathcliff having to remember at all is a responsibility, like for der schutze it's easier to forget, it's far less painful to just give in to the "devil".

i think this is also what the erlking id will be like, the one nelly actually calls the devil and the one whose shadow we're already seeing in the WH ids... the worst version of him is the one that gives in to the hate and senseless violence- but the one that remembers wants to do better.

you haven't heard from scaramouche for ages--probably weeks? probably months? honestly, you're trying to forget, you swear, but you really can't. it takes everything in you to not check who it is when the cafe door opens, every single time.

maybe this time... maybe this time it'll be him, you tell yourself when the bell jingles above the door.

you used to go to the cafe to work, because at home, it was too loud, crowded with your family. you have your own place now; there's no reason why you stay at the cafe besides the fact that you met him there the very first time.

he had rushed in from the rain, dripping wet, and painfully short, and your heart had jumped. you'd seen him around town, buying various things (he'd taken a clear hankering to unagi chazuke) and walking. you'd watched him as he'd plodded to the cash register, ordering a coffee (black). you hadn't been able to take your eyes off of him as he'd sat down beside you.

you had scooted your stuff away, which had prompted him to gruffly ask, "is this seat taken?"

"no," you'd replied, closing your laptop and folding your arms over it. "scaramouche, right?"

that had kindled a friendship--and dare you say, even more?--but then one night, he'd left. not a word, not a letter, not anything. just up and left. it had torn a hole in your heart that you tried to fill with too-sweet coffee and running mile after mile, covering stretches of land in the hopes that you'd glimpse his face.

you loathed how you thought about him, how you dreamt up scenarios where he'd walk into the cafe, apologizing for his absence (usually, something had happened to the tsaritsa and he'd had to leave) and sitting down beside you. sometimes, when you hated yourself, you'd imagine him walking in with someone else on his arm.

you lose yourself in your daydream, sipping slowly at your intensely sweet coffee of the day, when someone pulls up a chair across from you. you ignore them and turn up your music, hoping they'll get the hint. can't they tell?? you're lost in your daydream.

three songs play before the other person apparently decides they've had enough and clears their throat. you glance up and a flush washes over your body, background sounds disappearing. your hands tremble a little bit (fucking hell, you want to laugh at yourself) and you can feel a smile tugging at the corners of your lips. you stifle a little laugh.

you set your tea down, trying to calm your racing heart down, to no avail. he can probably tell how much you'd missed him right on your face. probably it's written right across your forehead: I MISSED YOU SO MUCH I THOUGHT UP AT LEAST 100 SCENARIOS ABOUT YOU COMING BACK.

this is so stupid, you tell yourself, slowly taking off your headphones. "no way," you mutter, "no way you're back."

he spreads his arms out wide, leaning back in his chair, just as he always did. "what can i say? i missed you."

you scoff, but this time, you can't stop the smile spreading across your face. "i'm mad, just so you know," you tell him, but pull your chair closer to his. "and i have work to do."

"oh," he says. is it just you, or is he a little bit disappointed? huh. maybe he did miss you after all.

"can i call you tonight?" you ask, packing your things up. "i mean--i will. i will call you tonight."

"yes," you hear him call out as you shut the cafe door behind you.

you walk away with a little pep in your step, beaming so wide it hurts your cheeks.

But C!Quackity notices wilbur isnt there and basiclly goes to search for him with C!Philza, C!Tubbo, C!Nikki, and C!BBH, and leaves C!Slime because they need him in hte DSMP for like reasons for something i forgot, but theres an entire thing to it, and i really want to find the plot pgaes

Another DSMP au i have is like this dsmp centred around cbenchtrio where its like, the descendents of cbenchtrio go to this history meuseam for some trip, and find these disc things, and the ctommy descendent is like "what the fuck is this" and so later at night, all three of them break into the mesuaem and they almost get caught, but tommy tries to grab the discs, while also holding tubbo and ranboos hand, so they get transported back in time to the lmanburgian war thing, but theres a dream for the time where the descendant benchtiro was and that dream travels back to try and kill the decsendents bc hes like that

I hope you didn't forget about me because I didn't forget about yoo hoo~ Since our last talk, I have to admit…if God, gods, or some all mighty force exist, they're giving me a run for my mental and physical health this year, but I am alive and unharmed just…life is LIFING right now But! I will be going back to college this year and I am going to study linguistics. I find it funny when people ask what I'm studying and they reply with an underwhelmed response. No worries though, it just gives me the drive to go toward it even more. I have been getting out of the house often and trying to take care of myself, but I will say its hard to keep consistent with constant setbacks. How's things going on your end?

I totally understand not being able to turn a hobby into a career. I admire those who do, but also respect those who keep it as a hobby because doing it for work will definitely dampen motivation in my opinion. TY TY for the recognition, same goes to you too! because it is VERY hard to actively stay tuned in into hobbies or interests when you're an adult in this day and age. I get you there though loool I hate being told what to do as well even for regular work. At this point I know I need to be my own boss or work under someone sensible which..for some reason, it's rare. But I get you, I started to learn a little late that, even the smallest doodles count as art or even progress. And us as an artist, decides when a piece is done. One of the members, Seung Eon, vocals reminds me of Daehyun's. Saw that he is also from Busan. Them Busan boys got some PIPES! on them. I don't know why it gives off opera potential. Daehyun being in plays just proves it. But man…do I feel your pain. I can't bring myself to support a group when the youngest of the group is like 15. And no offense to those who do…but I have a liiine. Youngest member in EVNNE just turned 18 and the oldest Keita, recently as well, turned 23. This is the only group I stan right now and have been trying to look for more groups 21+. I've seen a couple debuts and took notice of some groups I never got to look into since I dropped the fandom. HOnestly thoough…once again..they are my new B.A.P loool! I don't know how people multitask affection. They are literally the only ones in my EYE VIEW. I do wish them big success on top of healthy, free lives, but I will say I love smaller fandoms. It's much more intimate and less toxic, but I do want the boys to get their moneys worth lool.
