Father, why are you obsessed with Mia /genq
Because she's
FUCKING
HOT
Also I find her voice really nice, she's arguable really smart, and realistically she'd be kind of badass if Capcom didn't fucking nerf her. She's a character who's gone through a lot of shit that's just never talked about or addressed in-game and that makes her incredibly interesting. She's morally grey. She has PTSD that's clearly going unchecked (and potentially unmedicated. She has a lot of pills, but I don't know that any of them are actually meds to help with her problems. Like I've looked into possibilities before and *one* of them might be anti-depressants/anxiety meds but I don't know enough about medications to confirm that. It's just as likely they're just vitamins or birth control or something). She cares about her daughter, but then vanishes from the story and is barely mentioned.
She feels like a very neglected character, which is incredibly unfair considering she's pretty much the reason for half of the shit that happens. So maybe there's a part of me that just wants to add to her and flesh her out.
All in all I just find her interesting.
And also she's hot and I want her to bend me over a table.

I want. Four to get appreciation. Because
Four gave a ton of unnoticed help when Twilight was injured
The fight with Wild was difficult, and I know we're all concerned about his negative view of the shadow crystal
But Four did something that no one else really thought of to help- He took care of Twi's stuff
From the beginning he told Twilight to not worry about them
So Four took care of pretty much everything but the others (that Sky and Wars handled)
He took care of Epona
Which is so very important- he took care of Twilight's horse. After her arrival at the stable Four followed up on her
And for Epona, a horse so attached to her human, having some company can help so much for reassurance
He took care of Twilight's stuff
He got Twi's shield- his bags and equipment, and organized it into one place
And he was worried. He obviously found the shadow crystal while handling Twi's stuff, but his negative reactions to it were out of concern.
Also- because of his placement in this scene
I'm fairly convinced Four was ready to start cooking before Wild showed up (since he's beside the counter with food supplies). At the very least he had the basket of fruit out for everyone -but he was literally standing with food behind him- he thought of everything
And he did housekeeping!
Wars payed for the inn, so Four took care of the inn
Realistically these boys were probably not too concerned with tidyness. Four got all of Twi's things on one table, and took care of the room they stayed in
Organizing tables and Twi's things, having food supplies ready, and opening the curtains- overall he was the one tidying up the inn
Four helped in a huge way! He took care of Twi's horse (Epona is so important), his equipment and shield and bag, as well as the other rooms in the inn
Four filled in all the little tasks that others didn't think of. He helped in ways that were needed, but not obvious
There's a lot of problems with the shadow crystal and with Wild, and I don't know what's gonna happen in the future
But don't forget this- don't forget that Four was one who stepped up in an almost unnoticeable way
Don't forget that when everyone was barely holding it together, Four visited Twilight's horse and took care of his things
No matter what develops in the future- this amount of care shown is important ya know?

Harrow the Ninth has been a little tougher for me to get into so far bc I don't love the 2nd person pov chapters. Although, I managed to see, without spoilers, that's there's a narrative reason/reveal later on as to why those chapters are written that way and if I'll do anything it's trust the process and follow along with a good author on a bit. I love a good bit.
But also bc, I LIKE Harrow (I do not want this misconstrued as me not liking Harrow) but I LOVE Gideon and I haven't had the time to get to know Harrow as well yet. So it feels kinda like that thing where you and a friend (who you don't know super well yet) have a mutual bestie and you guys are a chill trio together, but as soon as the bestie isn't there it gets kinda awkward. Like you've never hungout just the two of you before.
Gideon said, "Hey can you watch Harrow while I go smoke?" And my enamored ass was like,
"Anything for you gongeous!" and now Harrow and I are making awkward small talk trying to bond.
Harrow is like, "um yeah so I've been seeing visions... and puking a lot."
And I'm like, "ooh uh, that sucks, sorry about that... uh nice weather, huh?" Like we're gonna figure it out but it's gonna be a while.

Common attempts to defend Abigail from incels are always very interesting to me. The two main things I see are the hc that she didn't sleep with any of the gang besides John and the classic "well John didn't care about her past". My issue with these is that neither should matter.
I'm not saying she did or didn't sleep with anyone in the gang, but why is people's first instinct to claim she didn't rather than acknowledge it doesn't matter if she did because her sexual history doesn't justify any hate or disrespect she gets.
As for the defense of John not caring about her past, I know it has good intent and it should be acknowledged because it's key to John and their relationship. But when it's used to defend her it feels odd. Why is our respect and tolerance of her tied to whether John was "ok" with her past or not?? If he wasn't, would that change anything?

More Nimona headcanons because these dorks have taken over my brain
I feel like Nimona tried really hard to hate Ambrosius
The first month they knew each other Nimona tried so hard to antagonize him and poke fun at him and remind him of the shit he’s done wrong
But it’s kind of hard to hate someone who’s slow to anger and quick to forgive
Reminding someone of their past mistakes with the intent to hurt them kind of stops being fun when the person is constantly aware of their mistakes
And owns up to them without making excuses and is constantly trying to undo the damage their mistakes caused
After a while, he grows on her and she starts to trust him and in return he trusts her
This one is based heavily on me and my best friends
Nimona and Ambrosius will talk shit loudly in public
They won’t use code names and if they don’t know the person they’ll start describing them like “Did you see that dude in the yellow shirt? He just pushed that kid out of line what a dick!”
They won't check to see if the person is out of earshot either they simply don't give a fuck
And this gives Bal so much fucking anxiety enough that he starts pleading with them to stop
You hear them going off about something and Bal saying “Ambrosius love hun sunshine I’m begging you to keep your voice down”
“Nim Nimona starlight hi I would like to remind you that they’re still behind us and I don’t want to explain to Ambrosius why you’ve gotten into another fight this week so please stop”
To which Nimona responds with “Tell him he’ll probably laugh”
Whenever Nimona and Ambrosius want to rant they rant to each other
Because Bal is the type of person to give advice in the middle of a rant
Talking some “If you explain this to them in a calm and compassionate manner I’m sure they’ll stop”
And while that's excellent advice sometimes you just want to scream your most unhinged thoughts at someone
And they never judge each other either
Nimona can look Ambrosius dead in the eyes and go “Have you ever gotten so angry during an argument that you’ve considered lighting their car on fire?”
And Ambrosius won't even think about it he’ll respond immediately with a “Who hasn't?” while Bal slowly backs out of the room and silently vows to hide his car the next time they fight
Whenever Ambrosius comes home from a stressful day at work he just walks into the house and lets out the most dramatic drawn out sigh
And whenever Nimona hears that noise they’ll run to the living room and sit on the couch patiently waiting for their daily rant session
Whenever Nimona gets home and wants to rant he’ll walk around until he finds Ambrosius
And if he can't find him he’ll sit by Bal and stew in his anger while he waits for him to come home
He can't even take one step through the door without Nimona saying something like “How dare you make me wait”
And Ambrosius will always respond with something like “Oh I’m so sorry firecracker it’ll never happen again”
And encourage them to tell him the information they’ve been patiently waiting to spill
Bal doesn’t rant unless he’s literally at the end of his rope
Like you have to royally screw him over for him to go home and rant to his family
When he finally rants to them they don’t make a big deal out of it
But they do however try their best to take care of him without raising his suspicions
Nimona will conveniently make Bal’s favorite dinner
Ambrosius will just so happen to pick up his favorite dessert on his way home (cause they both know the signs of a Bal rant and they plan accordingly)
They listen to his rant and let him eat his favorite food in peace while they play his favorite movies
You know real wholesome shit
All the while they’re coming up with plans in their head to destroy this person's life
