When he’s exhausted, like really tired and playful, he will simply fall on you on the bed. You could be reading a book or laying down, whatever it is, he will simply flop onto you on the bed and trap you under him, feigning that he has simply lost to gravity

Steve Harrington didn’t know how to care for himself, not because he never learned how to but because there was always someone above himself. There was always someone who needed a hug more than he did, who needed a ride somewhere more than he needed rest, who needed advice on anything more than he needed it.

Steve was by far the most selfless person you knew, it was one of your favourite things about him. However, on the opposite end of the spectrum, it was also one of your least favourite things about him- all at once.

His love for others greatly outweighed his love and care for himself. All you wanted was for him to start taking care of himself the way he took care of everyone around him.

It started off with small things, you think it started when you first spent a night as his place.

The night was all soft kisses, dancing in the refrigerator light, and legs draped over each other under blankets. It was everything you could’ve wanted and more; pure and domestic, teenage love.

But when the time came to finally climb into Steve’s bed, you slipped his yellow jumper over your body and pulled him into bed with you. Just before Steve could pull you to lay on top of him, you leaned across his bed to shut off the lamp on your side to blanket the room in darkness.

With your head resting on Steve’s chest, you felt him tense up underneath you once the light switched off. After a few minutes passes by, seemingly without him relaxing, you lifted your head up to look at him.

“Are you alright with the lamp being off?” You couldn’t think of what else could have caused the sudden shift in Steve’s mood besides the light going out, especially considering the great mood he had been in all night.

“Yeah, no, it’s fine,” He shook his head and smiled, assuring you it was okay even if it really wasn’t. “I just forget to turn that light off sometimes, sweetheart.”

It was a lie, you weren’t sure why, but you and Steve both knew he was lying. Sleeping in the dark wasn’t the same for Steve as it was for you, he didn’t find the same peace and relaxation as you did- especially not since battling demogorgons. He hated to admit it, even to himself, but really he could only put it down to a fear of the dark. Well, maybe not a fear of the dark specifically, but rather what lurked in the dark when his guard was down.

So, his bedroom lamp stayed on when he slept.

“Are you sure? We can keep it on if you want.” You were in no place to judge Steve as to why he maybe wanted the extra light in the room. It was still early days in your relationship so you didn’t want to step on his toes in any way.

“I’m fine, honestly,” He pressed a kiss to your forehead and pulled the blanket up to cover both of you, finding comfort in having you that close to him rather than finding it from the light in his room. “Get some sleep, I know you’re tired.”

And just like that, you and Steve never spoke about leaving a light on in bed again. When you were with him, Steve didn’t mind having the light off - he would’ve preferred it being on but it wasn’t the end of the world - but when he was alone it was an entirely different story. His house was always empty, his parents always in Michigan or New York or anywhere but Hawkins, so he always kept a light or two on in his house when you weren’t with him.

For as long as you’d known Steve, his parents were rarely around. You’d never met them nor had Steve ever made any effort in trying to get you to meet them. Instead, you just accepted the fact that his home was always empty of people besides you and him.

No one was there to give him a home cooked meal after coming home, no one was there to ask him about his day, and no one was there to just speak to him.

You always made the effort to call him before bed, or ask if he wanted to come over on a Friday night for a movie night, because you could only guess how isolating a big house like his own could be.

But really, you had to weigh up the pros and cons because you couldn’t decide what was worse: when his parents were away or when they were home?

Because when his parents were away; Steve was happy, there was always a smile on his face, and that only rubbed off on you. A mirroring smile painted your own face, joy bubbling inside of you because of your small world with Steve in his home. Your small world that you could play make believe in, pretending you had grown up with no responsibilities, and make dinner for the two of you, lounge around his pool, shower together- filled with love.

But you rarely saw Steve when his parents were home, and you could only assume why, because when you would see him he would appear with a cut under his lip or an eye covered in purple and blue tones.

You worried about him and his home life when his parents were around, trying to question as much as you could without irritating him because god knows he didn’t need anymore stress. But every time you asked if he was okay, he would give you the same response.

“Yeah, I’m fine, babe,” A smile crept up onto his face, the cut on his lip stretching in a way you knew had to be painful. “Just been missing you, that’s all.”

He brushed off your worries every single time and it near enough broke your heart. You wanted him to want to be cared for, to want that love and worry you wanted to give him, but he pushed it away before you could even offer it to him.

But soon enough, he would go back to the Steve you knew and loved. His house was suddenly filled with laughter and love of his friends as he threw pool parties for them, trying to distract them from the fact their world was crumbling around them.

“I can’t cook,” Steve laughed as you pulled out ingredients - that you had stocked - from his fridge so you could make everyone a meal before they had to go home. “I’m not gonna be much help.”

“You can always be my sous chef.” You handed him a chopping board and a knife, knowing he would manage well enough.

Your head swam with thoughts of Steve being alone in his house without the ability to cook. He lived alone without any skill, and you could only help but wonder how he managed to sustain himself.

“Steve, baby,” You didn’t want to push, you knew he hated that, but you couldn’t keep ignoring your nagging anxieties about him. “What do you mean, you can’t cook?”

“Like, I tried to make pasta once and I set the smoke alarm off.” Again, he played it off as a joke but it only worsened your worries for him.

After that, you tried to make sure the cooking channel was on his TV before you left his house and always offered to make dinner when you stayed, hoping that he would pick something up from it to ensure he wasn’t relying solely on takeout and microwave meals.

Nothing was ever as bad as the Starcourt Mall incident. Up until that point, Steve may have believed that he was deceiving you into thinking he was fine but that night was the end of it all.

It was a fire, they said. Everyone told you that the mall went on fire, and as soon as you heard you rushed towards the mall because you knew Steve had been working that night. But after taking one look at him, sitting on the concrete sidewalk beside Robin with sirens sounding around him, you knew it was more than a fire.

His entire face was broken and bloodied without any hint of emotion. Whenever he and Robin were together, the air was light and filled with laughter but now there was nothing of the sort.

You drove him home as quick as you could, most certainly breaking some road laws on the way, but it didn’t matter when the love of your life sat beside you and looked like they had been dragged through hell and back.

His hand slipped into your own, finger tips doused in blood laced through your own but you didn’t care as you pulled him upstairs to the bathroom.

As per usual, Steve was stubborn as you tried to sit him down on the edge of the bathtub, saying that he would be fine and he just needed a shower. You were at your limit, though, and were truly sick of him saying he was okay.

Ignoring his protests, you pulled out an unopened first aid kit from under his sink and used whatever you could inside of it to bring a bit of life back to your boy.

“It wasn’t a fire.” He murmured as you dabbed at the gore surrounding his eye, trying to be as gentle as possible.

“I guessed that.” Your hand snakes under his chin, tilting his head up to look at you. However, one look into his glossy eyes and you wished you hadn’t.

“I can’t keep doing this, I can’t keep pretending it’s all okay when none of this is,” Steve shook his head, biting down on his lip to help prevent the tears from spilling from his eyes but it was no use. “God, you should’ve seen what they done to Robin- it was- I can’t forget that.”

Whilst you loved Robin as much as the next person, your heart ached that Steve was still thinking about someone else rather than himself, even when he was in such a state.

“Steve, I can see what they’ve done to you.” Once the cuts on his face were cleaned, you pressed plasters anywhere you could, trying to help Steve feel better.

“I don’t know how much more of this I can take.” He dropped his head so it hit your chest and instantly your arms wrapped around him, trying to pull him as close to you as possible as you felt the tears from his eyes hit your skin.

“You don’t have to deal with any of it, it’s over now, you’re okay.” His sobs wracked through your body, never once had you heard him cry or even complain about anything that upset him.

“I’m not.” Steve lifted his head from your chest, rubbing his eyes clear of any tears and trying to pull himself together.

“Don’t do that, just let it out.” You pulled his hands away from his eyes, trying to fix the plaster he had moved in the process.

You sat in the bathroom as he showered, trying to pretend you were focused on tidying up rather than his sobs that filled the room. But it didn’t matter, because he asked you to stay. He wasn’t pretending he was fine anymore. You knew that now he had opened up, he would only help himself rather than bottling everything he felt. And that night, you two slept with the big light on, as per Steve’s request.

“hi mom! hi dad! hi—wait, y/n? is that you?! oh my goodness! look at you!!”

Ojiro Aran not only he is one of the tallest players in Inarizaki. He would be one of the most teddy bears among all of the Aces, especially if you are his S/O.

If you are shorter than him and very affectionate. I think he would love it if you hug him a lot, even if he's bigger and tour arms couldn't hug him fully. He appreciates it a lot.

In my opinion, Ojiro is one of the most affectionate guys. Because of this, you don't need to be shy when you ask him for a hug, a kiss, a cuddle or any other physical affection. It would make him very soft.

Another Teddy bear, Asahi is one of the cuddliest members inside of Karasuno. He is a gentle giant even though a lot of people are scared of him (because of his looks).

In my opinion, Asahi loves physical touch in love language receiving even though he is shy with it at the first time. However, when time goes by. He would be happy to receive all of your hugs and kisses.

Your hugs and kisses could calm him down when he feels anxious and nervous. That's why one of the reasons he feels comfortable around you.

Some of his teammates would tease him about you being affectionate and he would get all embarrassed about it. Nonetheless, he's still happy when you come to the practice and shower him with affection.

He became a dad figure to you, protecting you and giving you special Prince privileges like allowing you to come over any time you liked

Couldn’t stand the days you came over with a frown on your face from having a bad day at RAD and made sure you were totally comfortable and happy by his side for the rest of the day

It was always a pleasure to see you come over with Barbatos by your side and smile so widely when you see him, it made his heart ache

Never expected a human this young to pop out of the portal

But like everybody else, he accepted you as part of the Devildom now and was the very first person to send you a welcome text

He slowly began to become interested in you and visited from time to time; bringing round treats that he’d made at the castle

Schedules little cooking days with you and Luke and loves how you both help him in the kitchen and adores how much you smile when you apply icing to your cakes

Becomes the person you go to when you have something on your mind and he normally drops everything when you come to visit just so he can talk to you

Seeing you sad makes him sad too, so he helps you as best as he can, no matter what he was previously doing. You’re what’s most important right now

Hugs aren’t particularly his thing but a hug from you always makes his day so much better

Another child? He’s sorta glad it’s not him who has to look after you since he already has Luke

Well in the end, he sorta does mainly look after you after the amount of times you visit him unannounced

He’s without a doubt the sweet and accepting dad figure to you as he always listens and he understands and he always knows how to cheer you up

You won’t be sad for long with him by your side, he’s just got that vibe about him. It’s imposible to stay upset

You can’t stay sad when he’s around, it’s not possible. He knows exactly how to cheer you up and doesn’t stop until he sees that frown of yours disappear

Comes to visit you once in a while when he has time just to cause trouble around the house and piss off the brothers and chat with you and Asmo

Now Solomon is the definition of cool uncle. He’ll show you shit that’ll make your day, bring you gifts and stupid unnecessary items and just make you laugh so hard that your stomach will hurt

Still teases you from time to time and you become his arm rest for the rest of the year, but on the plus side, he teleports you to the human world to get icecream

Never thought he’d see the day where he’d get a hug, especially from you, so he made it last as long as he could. It felt nice to be appreciated

Luke

Unsurprisingly, you two got along straight away, I mean, two short people in the Devildom gotta stick together, right?

Pretty much began to live at eachothers house with the amount of times you two would visit

Protects you from the demons at least twice a day and tries his best to swat away Solomon and Mammon from leaning on your head

Becomes your new younger brother and he’ll do anything to keep you safe as well as happy and laughing

His heart hurt when he sees his new friend sad, so he asks Simeon if he could take the two of you to get your favourite treats and he’s relieved when he sees you smile again

His favourite days are when you two bake cakes with Barbatos, he likes hanging around with you because you make everything more fun

Couldn’t believe it when you hugged him for the first time and couldn’t help hugging you tighter so it was like watching two little kids see eachother for the first time in months

Ranboo Beloved joined the game.

You and Ranboo tumbled out of the swirling portal and hit the ground with a hard thud, dirt and sand kicking up around you both upon impact.

Before you could comprehend what happened, a small squeal came from behind you and something slammed into your back, causing a groan to pull itself from your chest.

The monochrome male mumbled from beside you, his face practically buried in the grass which caused his words to be muffled.

His crown had rolled a few feet away, and his bags had opened as well, sending a few of his tools scattering, but everything seemed to be intact?

You slurred a mess of words before spitting out the sand that had gathered up in your mouth, attempting to tell the tall male that you were alive.

At least somewhat.

You both knew that you three had to drag yourselves into Phil's house, but the travel was so exhausting. Sleeping in the dirt sounded so tempting...

A quiet whine sounded from the weight on your back, reminding you that Michael had also come into the server with you.

When Ranboo got up, he picked the zombie piglin up from where he sat on your back, allowing you to get up.

You both, plus Michael who was resting on Ranboo's hip, began to pick up everything that had dropped out of the portal with you.

Once everything was gathered up, you three wandered through the iron doors of Philza's home and looked around curiously.

Two cats, one named Pog and one named Champ, came up to you both, chirping and meowing eagerly before pausing suddenly. They most likely expected Phil...

Michael gave a loud squealing noise at the sight of the cats and squirmed out of Ranboo's hold, running over to pet the cats.

Ranboo set off to find food in the chests, scribbling in his memory book the entire time.

You, on the other hand, dug through your bags to find materials you had brought to make three beds. One yellow, one grey and the other (f/c).

Once you placed each of them beside each other, Michael eagerly hopped into the middle one (the yellow one), while Ranboo walked over with plates of steamed carrots and baked potatoes.

"Stressed?" He mumbled softly, watching you stare down at your wrist where the tattoo of a heart with deep grooves in the center rested. The exact place the three hearts tattoos were, "I-I know, it's going to be a little different... But... Maybe it's a good different! ...Please, eat something and then get some sleep. Phil will check on us in the morning, and you know how he can get..."

With a smile, he handed you the plate and a fork before sitting on the floor at the foot of the beds with his own plate. Luckily he had given Michael a golden apple before he had gone to look for food, so the child was quietly drifting off to sleep, "Do... You really think that running was the best option?" You whispered, taking a bite of the vegetables.

"I... What else could we have done?" He frowned, setting his crown beside him before taking a bite of his own food, "We couldn't fight them... and they were definitely not going to let you go so easily. Hell... Tubbo... My own fiance was threatening to kill me because I was talking to you and caring for your burns!" He hissed, tilting his head back with his eyes pinched shut tightly, trying so hard not to cry.

You quickly walked over and moved his plate so it rested on his bed and you wrapped your arms around him tightly. The enderman hybrid eagerly returned the hug, crying into your shoulder so the fabric of your clothes soaked up his tears, "Should... I have just... Accepted their love, and maybe learn to love them back? For everyone's sake?" You whispered, your voice wavering as you tried to keep your composure.

"Absolutely not!" He yanked himself back from your shoulder to give you a glare, "That relationship would not have been healthy whether you loved either of them or not! They would've kept you locked away like a prized possession, and they would've severely hurt anyone who tried to interact with you!"

"I- I know... But..." You glanced down, but Ranboo tilted your head upwards so you were looking at him, but you still avoided eye contact so it didn't make him uncomfortable, "Your... Your relationship..."

Ranboo sighed, "I know. But, I'd rather that he showed me his true colours and I divorced him again for that, rather than him manipulating someone into loving him... and putting everyone else in danger in response. Now. We have a lot to do tomorrow. Finish eating and get some sleep."

The next morning, Philza practically slammed open the iron doors to his own house, looking a tad bit out of breath and a bit frazzled.

Once he saw you, Michael and Ranboo curled up in a small cuddle pile on the three different coloured beds, he gave a loud sigh of relief and adjusted his striped bucket hat.

Thankfully, the father of Minecraft let you three sleep for a little while before waking you and Ranboo up around noon.

First, he gave you both spare elytra's and so you could keep up with his massive black avian wings.

Ranboo's turned into massive black and purple dragon wings, while yours turned into (f/c) (f/a) wings.

Phil showed you both the end realm and his Endlantis, which he gave Ranboo special water protection potions so he could swim through the waters as well.

This man basically treated you three as if you were his own children!

Taught you how to fly.

Taught you how to cook properly.

Everything!

And basically survive with bare minimums.

Once you both got better at flying, a few months later, Philza rEAAALLY wanted to take you to the massive project he called Nether Void.

"Ready, mates?" Philza walked over and ruffled the hair on both your and Ranboo's heads with a soft smile, somehow unbothered by the blistering heat of the hellscape, "Double check your potions, armour durability and food supply."

Ranboo mostly stopped wearing his crown because it had problems staying on when he flew and because it had a lot of memories tied to it, so he didn't want it damaged. He had also stopped wearing his tux, instead, he wore plain black pants and a white ruffled poet shirt with a purple short cape that had a golden trim and gold chains, which was a gift from Philza.

You on the other hand wore something similar but with a(n) (f/c) poet shirt and a(n) (f/c) and gold cape. Your cape was also a gift from the fatherly figure as well, and so was the (f/c) infinity scarf type fabric wrapped around your shoulder over your chest that helped you carry and protect Michael as you flew, "Yep, we're ready to go, Mr. Dadza Minecraft!" You gave him a mock salute with a smile as he laughed.

Ranboo checked on Michael who was nibbling on a golden apple before he helped put the zombie piglin child into your scarf carrier, "Yeah, everyone seems safe!" He chirped softly as he adjusted his cape to spread his wings, shaking them out a bit in the heat of the lava.

"Let's go!" You cheered softly once you made sure Michael was 100% secure and wouldn't fall out somehow, "Food is stocked up and in my bag, as well as Regen and Health pots, and a first aid kit and two extra totems."

Philza gave you a proud father smile and took off first, hovering in the air for a few seconds as he waited for both of you to catch up. Thankfully, he knew very well that you both likely would never be able to catch up to his skill in flying as he had been born with massive feathered wings hundreds of years ago. You and Ranboo had never been into the air until a few months ago. Once you both caught up, he took off and soared through the burning hot nether.

Phil loved telling you both the stories of the lands. The Blaze Empress who lived in the Quartress, the foolish Ender King...

You and Ranboo always listened to his stories with such eagerness, often asking him to retell the stories when you were having a bad day or just wanted to relax.

The elder male actually greatly enjoyed having two children to raise again, even if he didn't have the best track record with sane children.

When he did leave to go to the DreamSMP, he would always promise you both that he would be safe and NEVER left without saying goodbye, even if he was angry or upset with either one of you.

He never wants his last words to someone to be filled with anger or hatred.

Somedays he would go to the SMP, you and Ranboo would not leave the house, just out of fear that he wouldn't come back, or that Tubbo and Tommy would come out instead of Phil.

Both you and Ranboo were plagued by nightmares very often for the first few weeks and woke up in tears in the middle of the night.

As old as Phil was, he had absolutely no problems comforting either of you in the middle of the night, same with Ranboo.

"Here mates..." He whispered softly as he handed you a hot beverage and gave Ranboo a grass block, "You're safe here... I promise. I would have to allow either of them into the server, and that would never happen... Especially now that I know what kind of people my sons are..."

You sighed and put your hand on Ranboo's back as he sobbed into your shoulder, using the fabric of his shirt to dry his tears before they burned his skin, "I know... I know... There's just the overwhelming fear that suddenly I'll wake up and I'll be back in the SMP and-and..." You decided not to finish your sentence, nuzzling into Ranboo's hair to try and keep yourself calm.

"Last I checked... Techno scared them off from the Tundra... But I haven't been in Snowchester or near the Embassy enough to know what Tubbo and Tommy are doing. But Ghostbur said that Tubbo has gone absolutely nuts... And Sam had to steal the nukes so Tubbo wouldn't destroy anything else... He also said Tommy on the other hand hasn't done anything except visit Dream in prison constantly."

Ranboo gave a shaky sigh and glanced over at Michael, most likely extremely happy that he brought his child along so he didn't have to deal with a psychotic Tubbo... Hell, he didn't know what would've happened to his kid if he did leave him. The thought caused him to give a small sob and hide his face again, holding onto you tighter and practically pulling your smaller form into his lap, trying to silently promise you safety and using you to remind him that he wasn't alone.

"We... we can't thank you enough, Phil... Really... You taught us so many life skills, kept us safe and promised us a safe haven... Allowed us to your private server..." You whispered, before feeling the warm cup being taken from your hand before a hand replaced it.

"Honestly... It's the least I can do to protect you both... You two have become two children to me, and, while I haven't been able to raise you from children like Techno, Wil and Tommy..." He didn't continue his sentence, struggling to form sentences, but both you and Ranboo understood and were quick to yank him into your little cuddle pile/hug, the two of you eagerly hugging him.

As for quality time, he would 100% take you out on his precious bike at sunset so you two can just be together. Not only that but he loves the feeling of you hugging him vs him hugging you. All in all he's just a very wholesome boi 💜

Draken has already shown his love language (that is if you read the manga) I won't elaborate if you haven't though🤷. However it is without a shadow of a doubt acts of service and gift giving. He takes care of Mikey a lot so there's no doubt that he wouldn't do the same for you but he'd show it in different ways. I can see him as the type of boyfriend who would go to the store for you if you needed something or he'd cook dinner for you if you're running a bit late due to work and he just happened to return first.

As for gift giving, he may not seem like it but he's always listening to what you have to say. He's a very attentive individual and if you happen to say you liked something at a store he'd make a mental note of it for any special occasion that rolls around.

Once again he finds himself questioning how he got so lucky with a partner like you before putting his manga down and going to sleep next to you.

Izana 100% would be physical touch and words of affirmation. Now let me tell you he's lost so much and you mean the world to him. Rindou is a bit different from his brother in the sense that he prefers quality time and although this one isn't on the list of ones i've been choosing from, teasing. But he loves the more quiet and calm nights in contrast to his more stressful and chaotic days. he can just relax when he's with you; let his hair down so to speak.
