I think sometimes people forget that Warriors is trained to take lives. In the game, the traitors either flee because you killed the commanders or they're just dead because he killed them.

I wish there were more fics where Warriors has the internal struggle of having to take lives to save lives/the worth of a life instead of the traitors just getting imprisoned or never getting caught.

I completely agree, I think people forget this a lot, and it’s been on my mind for quite some time now. All the Links kinda live in a ‘kill or be killed’ world, but unlike the others, Warriors was fighting monsters of a different kind, he was fighting turncoat soldiers, and it was either him or them. I’ll bet he KNEW a lot of those people too, some of them were probably his friends, and I wonder a lot if he ever thought that there might come a day he’d have to fight for his life against the chain. He’s been betrayed by people he trusted before, does he ever feel truly safe with anyone anymore?

And then as you said there’s the whole aspect of the worth of a life. He’s supposed to be saving people, how has having to kill turncoats effected him?

somwthing that i wish was explored more both in the show and in fan content is how fucking terrified alejandro must have been of mal while on the island

like.. in wt all his enemies were just other teenagers trying to win a million dollars like him and nothing more, but all stars is a completely different story

the competition takes a backseat to the fact that his worst enemy this time round is actively trying to kill people, him being one of those people

every morning, alejandro had no idea what kind of shit mal would pull that day (either on him or someone else) and that must be fucking terrifying, especially since hes literally trapped on that island until he gets eliminated

i kinda feel like on top of Anxious Tummy Syndrome, Pony also just tends to burp a lot when he’s anxious and he never means to-honestly at first his brothers thought he was just being gross but after a while they realized his stomach just gets really fucked up when he’s stressed and they know when this happens they just have to bring him somewhere quiet and calm him down quickly.

Sarek, his father, who's never seen eye-to-eye with him yet still adores and respects his son more than he'll ever admit aloud, who can only find the strength to scream internally as he watches his son suffer, wanting so desperately to ease his pain but knowing he cannot, and only staring on in a false neutrality?

McCoy, his best friend, the man who he's butted heads with for years yet who cares about him far more than he wants to admit, feeling nearly as bad as Spock does in this moment purely because he knows that no matter what he gives him he can't really make him feel much better?

Drew goes threw the 5 stages of grief over his best friend,(bf lol/j)Jake.

Drew had denied any problems in His friendship with Jake. He didn’t want to believe that his friendship was going to end; he believed that it would ultimately remain the same.

But it didn’t. He didn’t know how to keep a healthy relationship let alone know how to be a good person. His whole life he’d never been tought how to handle his emotions;his father would always just buy him things in hope that it would help whatever problems he had, I mean he was a busy guys he didn’t have time for drew.

So drew thought hey maybe if I buy my friends things I won’t have to worry about there problems and that’s how he became friends with Liam and Henry even worked for romantic relationships he got a girlfriend that way! Well she did… uhm cheat on him and only use him for his money… BUT that’s besides the point.

When drew first met Jake it was like something inside him clicked. He was quite literally absorbed into this guys life, he wanted nothing more than to be by his side. He didn’t know what it was about him, That made drew so captivated by his presence. He wasn’t anything special in other peoples eyes he was considered a freak to some people. But not to drew, Jake was… everything to drew. It was weird cuz.. drew didn’t take a lot of interest in people if anything he didn’t even care about most people(except for his two close friends Liam and Henry but he won’t admit that).

So when Jake spoke up to drew he was more than happy to start a conversation with him. They talked about lots of things but the most prominent thing he remembered was the fact he played games and talked about the latest luniswitch.

He made sure to ask he’s dad for one when he got home.

A few days of being aqantances and talking during class drew called out to the taller boy who seemed to be looking at a bulletin board crowded with papers of different clubs; beckoning ppl to join.
