Ayyy, you too? I started with the third game (found a playthrough online, got interested, very awkward discussion with a cashier in front of my mom upon buying it) and then played the other two when I found them later. I think at the very least Shaundi carried a torch for Gat, personally - be it romantic or just some obscure hero worship, since he apparently looked out for her. Sometimes it seems to veer towards sibling vibes, imo, but it's hard to say. He was pretty solidly in love with Aisha. Also Kinzie was amazing and an absolute *freak* (said with love, respect, and a healthy dose of intimidation - girl did not apologize for her interests/vibe and I respect that)

BRUUH, I got exposed to this game, I think through a play through of 4 actually, and then went back and watched a play through of 3. Then I found 3 at a discount store so I grabbed it. And I've never been the same.

The more I've played this series the more I've decided they have a friend/sibling thing. Like a weird younger sister admires older brother who keeps her safe type relationship. Arguably, Shaundi liked Gat, but I don't think he ever liked her. I mean, in one of the SR3 DLC you chase a giant mutant clone of him and lure him out with Pierce dressed as Aisha. And even clone Gat is still head over heels for her. He gives the vibes of a one-woman man.

Kinzie is fucking wild, and I love it. She's so blunt and unapologetic and mater of fact. Plus her beef with Matt Miller is so funny to me. That man breaths in her direction and she wants him dead. (To be fair he did get her kicked out of the FBI I think, but still. They bicker like teenagers in two separate cliques). We love a nerdy dominatrix queen.
