I think Roger's death hit Buggy harder than it did Shanks.

I'm not saying that Shanks wasn't sad or he didn't care. Of course he was sad. Roger was like a father to them both. However, he knew this would happen. The moment he saw Roger's face on the newspaper with the execution date, he knew this was no mistake on Roger's part. He never got caught. He wanted to be exactly where he was, and he wouldn't try to run away. This was it, the end of an era.

So he cried, like a child would when losing his father as Roger's head was sliced. But he was prepared to face whatever life would throw in his way after that point, because he had Buggy by his side.

But then Buggy got angry at him, started yelling. He didn't quite understand what was going on, why this was happening. His ears were ringing and he could barely make out the other's words. There was venom in his words, tears in his eyes. Oh god, he made Buggy cry again. And he's leaving. Why's he leaving? Come back!

Shanks cried when Roger died. He bawled, sobbed, trashed when Buggy left. Because he knew the first was coming, but nothing could have prepared him for the latter.

He ran after him, trying follow the bright blue locks, but he lost him in the crowd. Buggy was always good at making himself invisible, but never to Shanks. Unfortunately, there's a first time for everything. Everyone was running all over the place in excitement at Roger's final words, but Shanks' whole world had just shattered into pieces. He didn't care about the One Piece or Laughtale. None of it mattered without Buggy. He fell onto his knees that day in Loguetown, and he screamed and cried, ignoring all the commotion around him.

He waited for days at the harbor, hoping that Buggy would come back, that they would leave together.

He never came.

Like, in heaven, she'd get dragged to the park by a kid and either dogpiled in hugs, made to play hide and seek, or they'd insist on her telling them stories

I can see it staring cause she took a nap in the grass not realizing it was a field children often came to and made up a story of fighting a fish monster when they asked about her spear

And then a kid recognized her, dragged her to the park, and every time she left the barracks, there was a 78% chance that she'd get dragged into the kids' game or need for entertainment

Heaven can get boring with it being the same thing! Vaggie was new and always had new stories(she's making them up on the fly she has no idea why these kids like her so much but doesn't want them yo be disappointed)

She can't bring herself to know cause their so fucking tiny and cute and if she or soembody else makes them cry she'll actually kill somebody she swears to god-

If she had walked around when they went to heaven a kid would've recognized her immediately and zipped over crying and asking where she's been and that'd result in her getting dragged away and Charlie standing by very confused, but taking pictures cause this is adorable as fuck

You know, these past two episodes I was thinking to myself, Su Yin is almost perfect in every way, simply the ideal devoted, protective, loyal, dedicated sworn brother, call him Da-ge indeed!!!, but my one piece of constructive criticism is that he needs to learn how to give real hugs - he does a lot of manful shoulder clasping, but Xiaobao is a shivering chihuahua desperately in need of cuddles and body heat, you gotta HUG THAT BOY - but now I see that Su Yin's hugs are simply reserved for his horrible little gremlin of an imperial cousinwife.

I keep thinking about how off the island seems to the residents. And while that could just be the ptsd from purgatory, what happens if it’s not the real island? What if it’s just another trick to put everyone through true hell? Believing or wanting to believe you’re finally safe and sound before the rug is pulled.

What happens if tubbos heaven, his baby girl, isn’t actually part of their real home? What if his hell is to leave her behind to go to the real island? The Feds aren’t going to leave the residents in such a place for long, especially if it’s not part of their own mind games. But the new eggs aren’t part of the original island. Tubbo would rather die then leave sunny, but if the Feds want their residents back, there’s no stopping them.

Fed agents pulling tubbo and sunny apart as he kicks and screams and fights because even if the land they’re on isn’t his true home, the person he’s being forced to leave is. Tubbo would rather spend an eternity in hell with his little girl then one second back on the island without her.

Matvey was adopted a little over at two months old along the border crossing between Russia and Kazachstan on a cargo road that showed little action. He never really thought about the reason why he was there or the what how, just that he would've died if not for intervention (lucky or damning) you be the judge.

He had a pretty fair upbringing if you don't bring up visiting warehouses with his father or playing with guns at a young age. He was originally raised to be just that, a son, however it would become more skewed as the year's went on and his father Makarov's power grew. Then his role went past being only a son and more of a "good soldier." Of course, what Matvey would've called his first "failure" was failing his mentors and by proxy, his father. His mentors said he would never be a soldier and neither would he be strong enough to fight. It just wasn't in his cards. After that, his father's expectations seemed to slow down to a simmer, and his approach became to hold Matvey at an arm's reach away from the Ultranationalist Party and revolving plans. He would be protected, but not without getting trained to protect himself and escape at a moment's notice.

Though Makarov obviously wasn't his only father, his extended family mostly comes from Yuri's side of the family. Matvey obtained personality traits from Makarov but was much closer to Yuri. Yuri's a sensitive topic as is most of everything in his life. Yuri and Matvey both have something in common and that is "abandoning" or in Matvey's case "running away." Yuri left, without a word or notice and Matvey chased after him, and only realised he wasn't coming back "home" after two months on the road with Lobo, his loyal guard dog. Exact details on the first year of Matvey's lone days have not been found, but not without some prying. All he has to show for it is the bloodied patch the 141 found him holding along with his belongings.

Matvey was found along the Chernobyl exclusion zone by 141 squad members bleeding out in the hospital safe house he had rigged with traps, bleeding out from a wound that a mercenary had done to him in retaliation for murdering his partner, forgetting about the long-term reward of keeping him alive and sending him back to his father. And instead attempted killing him for revenge. He said he lived well off for what he had. With his father's hired mercenaries on his tail, he couldn't exactly pick a lot of areas. They caught his scent a month before the 141 had found him, sending an SOS through a makeshift antenna but getting help when they were finally able to trace it with spare time on their hands. Matvey really hadn't intended on surviving to the end if at all.

Combat-Style: Matvey plays dirty, real dirty, most "end up killing themselves" before they even see his face. He uses traps, bombs, chemical warfare (has an inclination for using gas) throwing knives and all sorts. Usually, he keeps to having a good distance with any target and avoids close combat at all costs, if any combat at all. And tends to favor using escape tactics he's learned over his previous training. He's known by most to be very slippery and sly if he wants something over with quickly.

If with a squad on something serious he fills a support role: and (jokest3r's opinion: his support role is something similar to Elizabeth in Bioshock Infinite just without all the tears.) can find materials or target objects fairly easily since slipping through vents and getting out unseen is one of his best strengths and keeps him away from any of the serious fighting while still helping the team.

Personality: Matvey is naturally combative, moody, and "explorative" if the definition meant rule-breaking. He alternates between being quiet and isolated to being playful and rather "loud." He follows orders to a T, almost too closely like he's had past experience. He's self-destructive when it comes to most people as he doesn't want to care for much of anyone since all signs seem to point to anyone he cares for or stays with long term end up dying or disappearing one way or the other. Or abandoning him. He also tends to not understand social cues and is very affectionate even if the situation around him is dire. Warning: hugs and heartfelt conversations abound.

Allegiance: Matvey made it very clear where his loyalties lied, along with his goal to reunite with his father Yuri and gain some closure beyond bottling up all his anger and mourning for a father that doesn't seem to exist anymore. He's also seemingly gotten attached to some of the members, and would like to see them alive. When asked what that exactly meant he shrugged, thinking anyone else would've known what he meant.

As time passes the 141 hope to get Matvey out of his shell and influence him to grow and make better decisions. For now, Matvey will try to grow used to Western surroundings and hopefully, meet both his father's face to face, though he knows that it won't likely end happily. (FLAT COLOUR UNDERNEATH THE TAB)

Agit got me thinking about, of all things, a Halfa!Jazz AU and I am having a BLAST with it in my brain <3

Jazz doesn’t have a lot of canon content, so there’s plenty of blanks for me to fill in. This Jazz is a curious thing, she hungers for knowledge and she loves learning. She’s very studious, and has been since she was young, so she ultimately doesn’t really have any friends because Amity Park is a small town and her reputation has been firmly established as a responsible, mature, know-it-all and teacher’s pet Jazz. Good for tutoring, not good for inviting to parties. Not that she’d go anyway, she always says no.

It ends up being that insatiable curiosity that sends her into her parents lab after their latest project doesn’t work. That has her stepping into this very strange machine, wondering why exactly it didn’t turn on. Is something missing? Was it not plugged in? It wouldn’t be unlike her parents to forget to plug it in, they can get ahead of themselves in their excitement sometimes.

She slammed her fist against the table again, this time hard enough for ice cubes to clink against the glass of Sherri’s whiskey from the force. “In summer it’s an overcrowded, overrated tourist trap,” she ground out, sucking a breath in through her teeth. “In winter it’s the only fucking decent place to catch trout!” 

“It’s a big lake.” 

“Not big enough for the three of us!” 

“I’m not gonna stop fishing at the lake I run my own damn business at,” Sherri said, the slightest hints of a scowl beginning to furrow onto her face. 

“Oh, well!” Jessie cried, shooting up to her feet with a grating scrape of the legs of her chair against the hardwood. “I would fucking hate to crush your goddamn entrepreneurial spirit!”

The sarcastic exclamation was apparently loud enough to even draw the attention of the wasted asshole in the tacky duster, who finally fixed his unfocused gaze on her — but blessedly only increased the volume of his own manic rambling in response, eyes of the crowd turning their heads back towards him. 

“— because he can’t even stick a landing, by the way. Always veers to the —”

“Hell, I might as well give you the fuckin’ shirt off my back, huh?” she laughed, tugging at the collar of the graphic t-shirt bearing the outline of a bass splashing out of water beneath the slogan ‘My Fishing Line Isn’t The Only Thing I Get Wet.’ “Since I bought it at Can of Worms, too! Guess it’s all yours, now that it’s over!”

She actually thought she bought it the first day they — never mind that — she yanked the hem from beneath the waistband of her shorts to begin pulling it over her head. 

“Jesus fucking Christ, Jessie!” Skylar barked. “We did this in a public place because we were hoping it’d make you less likely to make a scene.”

“Oh, I —” she threw the shirt down onto the table, pressing fingertips against the worn polyester of the sports bra covering her chest in gesture to herself. “I’m making a scene?”

“Big fucking scene,” Sherri agreed. “You always make some kinda —”

“This is not a scene!” she interrupted, waving a hand over the table. “This —” She grunted, swinging her arm back to point towards the creep prattling on at the next table so loud she couldn’t hear herself think long enough to form a proper argument about why she should get exclusive use of Silver Lake. “That fucker is making a fucking scene!”

“— an absolute disgrace of a cockpit —”

“Hey, asshole!” she shouted over Skylar and Sherri’s heads. “I’m trying to have a calm fucking discussion with my girlfriends about fishing spots over here!”

“Ex-girl —”

“So could you shut the fuck up?” Jestiny demanded, stomping a foot down. “What’s your fucking problem?!”

Blue eyes locked onto her, this time properly, with something more than hazy, drunken focus — breathy, sputtering laughter following in their wake. 

“Problem?” he half-slurred in a rising huff. “Oh, no problem here.”

He stumbled a few steps forward towards her, until she could smell the stench of expensive liquor and cheap weed clinging to him, and feel the hot puffs of his laughter falling against her face as he leaned in with a clumsily sway. 

“In fact, I’m celebrating,” he hummed with the rise of his eyebrows — reaching forward into her space to grab her beer bottle off the table, raising it up in cheers. “I’m going to be a father,” he said as he brought the bottle to his lips to take a swig.

i'm so sorry to see that you're being vagueposted about for your sylki takes. it may be true that how you see sylki is a bit different than a certain section of the fandom, but that doesn't at ALL mean that you shouldn't be allowed to have your own takes! fwiw, i followed you bc i actually agree with and really enjoy ur perspective on sylki. i was getting frustrated with how many people seem to view this ship in a super heteronormative way and want sylvie to basically become a housewife, and i was so glad to find a blog that felt the same way. this fandom has become tiring tbh with how many people are now freaking out that sylvie hasn't immediately started having lokis babies in s2, and i really wish that people would at least leave room for others to have their own opinions!

this! that section of sylki shippers do not leave any room for you to have your opinions! they act like a fanon police controlling what you say in your posts on your blog!

and god forbid that what you say opposes their own hcs and takes, if you commit this unforgivable sin of having a take that is different from theirs, you better be ready for some good old online group harassment! they will make you feel like you are not welcome in this fandom, they will make sure that you are hurt, they will alienate you and force you out!

but no, you are the bad guy for jokingly calling a fandom in general "vanilla" and saying (after several disclaimers that it's your personal opinion) that when it comes to canon, you don't think that sylvie should be all about being loki's housewife.

at this point i honestly hate this fandom. there are some decent sylkis out there and i love the ship itself, but a big portion of the fandom has simply sucked all the joy for the series out of me. i wonder if they realize what the consequences of their behavior could be? back when i said (in my blog) that i don't think sylvie having babies is a compelling completion of her story in canon, and this bunch came to my blog to harass me for my takes, i was in a very *very* bad place already, and the space that was supposed to be my escape pretty much turned on me and added up to an already depressing state i was in.

and bfr anyone says that it's just a fandom wank, let me tell you that these people know how to be really cruel, whether they realize it or not, their behavior is simply cruel. they don't just argue in favor of their opinion, they shit on you personally, get aggressive towards you personally, make you feel like you "can't sit with them", ect. it gets really creepy and ugly.

and the thing is, i never addressed anyone specific in my posts, i never said *this* person and *that* person have shitty hcs/takes, i never even vaguely hinted at a distaste towards the hcs/takes of someone specific, but they accuse me of pointing fingers. when i said that i didn't think canon sylvie having babies would work, i never said anything about sylki babies in fanfiction, yet people accused me of pointing fingers at the fic writers. and they would come to my blog, harass me in the replies and asks, and talk about how despicable i am in their own blogs, and it went on and on for a while.

thanks for your nice words, anon, they are uplifting. and to those who can't stand me so much, don't worry, i'm going to leave this fandom once the series is finished. i hope you are satisfied that being a shitty, gatekeeping, narrow-minded, egocentric person worked for you! but don't ever feel entitled to complain about how lokius shippers treat you.
