Seeing Inside-a supercat fanfic

Kara does have x ray vision but she doesn’t usually use it. It’s like stalking someone on Instagram. You feel guilty and it’s hard to face the person afterward. If you’re Kara that is.

Alex is a major social media stalker. She has whole playlists that are just songs other people listen to, and she shows no shame about liking someone’s photo from 2013.

“If I had super vision, I’d check people out sometimes,” said Alex. “Like Cat Grant.”

Kara giggled and blushed, smushing her face in her hands.

“No you wouldn’t!”

“If I were you I would. You stare at her butt enough anyway I’m surprised you don’t know what kind of underwear she wears,” Alex snickered. “Also I myself would like to know.”

“Nooo,” said Kara. “Stop it,”

The next day, Miss Grant was sitting on her chair, one high heel resting on the table, and she heard Alex’s words in her head. How bad could it be? Especially if she wasn’t caught.

Cat had on these grey boyshort panties. Not what she expected at all, and super hot. It matched her outfit of the day in a way, this black pinstripe suit dress, channeling Claudette Colbert in It Happened One Night.

Kara was staring at the underwear and how Cat’s legs moved under her skirt, forgetting to look away.

Cat quickly put her leg down, thinking maybe when it was up on the desk people could see her underwear for real.

“Kara, why are you looking at me like that?” asked Miss Grant.

“Fuck! Nothing! I mean no reason,” she trailed off.

“I didn’t you could curse,” said Cat. “You learn something new every day.”

Aagh Kara was right, now she couldn’t look her boss in the eye. But also now she couldn’t stop herself.

The next day, Cat was wearing her blue pencil skirt with her white long sleeve shirt tucked into it, showing her adorable, soft, tiny curves.

Kara saw her soft stomach, brushing against her shirt, her little round breasts and pointed nipples underneath a thin pink bra. The one nipple was halfway outside her bra, and if she looked closely, she could see it brushing against the white shirt, but she couldn’t do that, she’d be looking too hard, and then Miss Grant would know, and

“Well Kiera!” Miss Grant sighed. “I’m flattered but I don’t pay you to stare at me, go over my schedule for God’s sake!” Kara felt herself flush deep red with humiliation. Miss Grant gave her a smirk.

She looked again when Cat Grant sat down in her chair. This time she had these yellow panties riding up her ass, and good god she had a nice ass! It was so much bigger than Kara expected, and as Cat was absentmindedly swinging her legs to a song she was humming, it kept moving, so more of it was outside the underwear, softly leaning on her pencil skirt.

We know from the series but also from this story at this point, that Kara is not a subtle person. And she was once again caught.

“Kiera!” Snapped Miss Grant. “Tell me what the hell is going on with you lately.”

“Uh but I-“

“Now or you’re fired.”

Oh shit. She never should have let the idea get in her head, if no one talked to her about it, it wouldn’t have been so easy to carry out! It really wasn’t her fault, right?

“Oh god it’s all my fault,” said Kara.

“What is?” asked Cat concernedly. She lowered her voice. “Is it a supergirl thing?”

“Well kind of,” she said. Was she really going to tell her?

Cat knew Kara was supergirl ever since the bizzaro incident, where she doubted it for one crazy second, but then admitted she knew all along and would never tell a soul.

“I’m not going to tell you,” Kara said. “Sorry Miss Grant.”

“Oh does Sunny Danvers have a backbone now?” said Cat. “Hmm or maybe you don’t have enough of a backbone,” she tapped her finger on Kara’s collarbone area, “to tell me your little millennial problem.”

“Um, I never really used x ray vision and now I am and it’s giving me these problems and I saw your underwear!” Kara blurted out.

Cat’s eyes got big, a little blush dusted her cheeks and then she burst out laughing. The ice queen of National City burst out laughing.

“Oh my god,” she did this cute little snort. She had a high pitched sweet giggle Kara wanted to replay in her mind all day. “X ray, oh damnit, Kara darling.” She composed herself and took a breath.

“I want to make a deal with you,” she said. “If you saw my underwear, it’s only fair that I see yours.”

“I promise you, I’ll like it,” Cat purred in a sultry voice. Her sharp fingernails clutched the hem of Kara’s skirt.

“I didn’t really just see your underwear,” she said softly.

“Ohh you bad girl,” said Cat. “You’ll just have to bare your whole ass for me then, won’t you?”

“There are people looking through the window,” said Kara.

“Right,” Cat tsked. She ran her fingers across the hem of her skirt once more and stuck her cold hand up her warm shirt for a couple seconds, squeezed her skin, and said,

“There’s an empty floor a few floors down. Chop chop.”

They went in Cat’s private elevator. It smelled like lavender and snow and something sweetly unexpectedly Cat, like a bit of or banana bread or something.

“I’m going to have to punish you,” Miss Grant said. “I mean maybe I will,” she said more quietly.

“Oh yeah, I think you should,” Kara assured her. “I’m still going to feel really guilty otherwise.”

Cat snickered and the doors opened.

They were standing in the middle of the floor with all the empty desks. Cat stood on her tippy toes even though she didn’t need to and touched her chin. She let her hand wander down across her neck, her chest, her stomach, until she got to the hem of the skirt and yanked it down. The cold air blew on Kara’s ass and she felt it, she felt everything.

She gave her one hard slap and cleared her throat.

“Okay let’s go back to the office,” she said, like she regretted it, but she still had the deep honey in her voice.

“Let’s go back to the office, and do it again,” whispered Cat, and pressed a warm banana bread flavored kiss to her lips.

Hello! Your blog is delightful. I was curious where/when you got Snip the cat. I ask because I used to have Snip when I was a kid! I called him Supercat and he wore a kerchief as a cape. I miss him.

I got my Snip a few months ago at a mom and pop thrift store along with my Chip and a few others. He was so well taken care of that I’m positive I bought a small bit of someone’s very loved collection.

I highly recommend finding one again! He’s so floppy yet so posable, I love him dearly.

Supercorp 👁👄👁

It makes sense and it compels me even though I hate that show and i stopped watching after season 2 lol

I sort of resent Supercorp because I am a Supercat shipper because Supercat was basically Mirandy and you know how I feel about that dynamic

BUT THE CHEMISTRY WAS INSANE. And from what I can tell they kept writing into it and the actors certainly played it romantic and aesthetically i mean come on. It's undeniable. I'm sure if I could have actually made myself sit through the show on a weekly basis I would have shipped them so hard. One of my straight male friends started watching the show because he thought from the gifs on twitter that they would actually get together because it was so obviously romantic, so thats when you know the queerbait is REALLY cooking.

It also probably didn't help that Supercorp got going right around when Lexa died on the hundo I think? And I basically swore off fandom after that forever until ronance infected my brain.

But yeah. It makes sense. It's compelling. I miss Cat Grant though.

Kara pouted as she lay cuddled next to Lena on the couch in the House of El. Lena chuckled while patting Kara’s head. 

“Kara, you said you needed just five more minutes,” mused Lena. 

Kara's pout became more pronounced and said, “I know, but I like being your cuddle bunny.”

Lena smiled and kissed Kara on the forehead. 

“I love being cuddled up next to you, but I have to get to work. I have several projects at the hospital that I need to finish in the next two days or we will be very behind.”

Kara sighed while disentangling herself from Lena and said, “I know. There is stuff that I need to do, but I….”

Lena raised an eyebrow and said, “You would rather stay cuddled up with me like you have been for the last couple of days instead of face what has happened since the attack.”

Kara looked at Lena with a soft smile while holding her hand and said, “I know that I have to face the outside world. It has just been nice being in our own protective bubble and getting to know you better is all.”

Lena kissed Kara’s hand which caused her to blush. 

“I understand darling. However, we have lives to lead and people who miss us. My mom, Sam, and Ruby have been blowing up my phone wondering where I have been the last several days. Still trying to think of an effective excuse to give them when I come into the office today.”

Kara yawned while stretching and standing up. 

“You should just tell them the truth.”

Lena looked at Kara startled and asked, “Kara, are you sure….”

Kara cocked her head and asked, “Are these people that you trust?”

“Well, yes, I trust them very much.”

Kara smiled and said, “If you trust them, I trust them.”

“Really?” asked Lena with glossy eyes.

Kara leaned down to caress Lena on the face, kissed her on the lips, and said, “I do. Besides, we are dating, and I want to get to know your family better and I want you to get to know the family that I have on Earth.”

Lena raised an eyebrow and said, “Outside of Clark I guess.”

Kara chuckled while bopping Lena on the nose and said, “Of course.”

Lena smiled while wrapping her arms around Kara’s neck and said, “I would love that.”

Kara beamed and asked, “When shall we plan this?”

Lena chuckled and said, “Someone is eager to meet the family I see.”

Kara looked down sheepishly and said, “Why wouldn’t I not be eager. These people helped formed who you are today. Of course I would want to meet them.”

Lena caressed Kara’s face and kissed her for a couple of minutes. 

She then looked up to Kara and said, “It is those little things that make me love you even more.”

Kara smirked and asked, “You love me huh?”

Lena blush, looked down sheepishly, and said, “I do, but you don’t have to feel rushed to say it back to me or anything…”

Kara places a finger on her lips to cut her off. Kara smiled and said, “I love you too.”

Kara leaned forward and kissed Lena on the lips. Lena wraps her arms around Kara and lean into the embrace more. They kissed for a couple of moments before Lena leaned back and said, “I need to leave or I am never getting out of here.”

Kara smirked and asked, “Is that really such a bad idea?”

Lena chuckled and said, “Only if I want the hospital to go under.”

Lena and Kara got up off the couch and stretch. 

Lena turned to Kara and said, “My mom has a weekly dinner at her house on Wednesdays every week. Do you think some of your family members would be able to come this Wednesday?”

Kara smiled and said, “That is something that can definitely be pulled off.”

Lena smiled and said, “Perfect. I will let my mom know.”

Lena grabbed her things, sighed, and said, “I will get going now. Are you going to be staying around here the rest of today?”

Kara stretched a little more and said, “No. I think I will fly a bit to exercise my powers a little bit and visit Damian today. He is finally alert and isn’t too happy about having to stay on bed rest for the rest of the week.”

“Aww poor baby.”

Kara chuckled and said, “I don’t know how he would take to being called that, but I am hoping to cheer him up by getting him his favorite treat before heading to the manor today: chocolate and pistachio Baklava from Carrie’s Cafe.”

You guys - Cat Grant KNEW the VERY first moment she saw Supergirl in the flesh that it was Kara. She KNEW.

That knowing look and knowing small smile with the “It’s you” says EVERYTHING. The half hearted backpeddling is such a front right after. It’s so transparent. She suspected it when the very first picture of Supergirl in HD was laid in her hands and she gave the knowing glance at Kara as she retreated from her office. She knew it when Kara came barging into her office indingant about her branding.

She knew because unlike what James said with Clark and the way he was able to stay anonymous was because people never saw him, Cat never once DIDN’T see Kara. She SAW her every day. She SAW her every single minute.

Of course she’d know she was Supergirl in an instant. Holy hell.

I have never been more convinced of Supercat than right now.
