aftercare -> kiri is big on giving and receiving aftercare. he needs verbal reassurance from his partner when dom drop hits. he gets very cuddly; physical connection is soothing for him and he likes to show that love to his partner. i could also see him as the type to want to make love as a part of aftercare depending on the activities beforehand. part of receiving aftercare for kiri is taking care of his partner after a tough punishment or a difficult scene/rough sex. depending on his energy level, he’s at minimum going to clean you up, use balms/ointment, or dress any wounds if necessary. beyond that, he keeps granola bars or smth in his nightstand, might help you bathe, makes sure you drink extra water to keep hydrated. 🖤

stroking midi’s fur and holding the bunny close to his bare chest, he sees you running around with bam, tiny legs surprisingly fast, followed by what he thinks, an equally tiny you. are these the little things in life he must appreciate? is it you, who he sees everyday, at every sleepy, early hour and roaring, awake dusk? is it the place he’s grateful he’s living and sharing with you, happy and content with the safe haven you both have created? or is it the fact he can live life daily, with you by his side as his number 1 fan, along with your two children?

you’ve caught bam now it seems, the pup yelling out small yips at the gentle scratches you’re giving to behind his ear. Settling next to him, you ask, “whatchu thinking about, handsome?” He looks at you, love etched all over his gorgeous features. He glances at the now calm puppy in your arms, at the bundle of black fur poised perfectly on his chest and back at you.

No, not at all.

It wasn’t clingy to want to be around your favourite person at all times, just to be sure that they’re safe and happy and not too stressed, right? Just to be sure.

Well, that’s what you told yourself anyway as you crawled out of bed and shuffled toward your boyfriend’s office where he was currently streaming. He probably still had a few hours left, but your skin was itching to feel his touch. You had already spent the past couple hours smothering yourself in his hoodie and comforter, reveling in his addicting smell. Though, even with the soft plush completely surrounding you, you couldn’t shake the feeling of just needing to be near him.

You shouldn’t distract him— that was the last thing he needed when he was already so anxious during streams, but it couldn’t hurt to just sit with him, right? It may even be relaxing to have you there, just keeping him company.

Pushing open the door to his office slowly, you peeked in through the crack, eyes immediately spotting that messy mop of black hair only illuminated by the monitor’s light in front of it. You found it odd at first, that he liked playing in the dark, but realized how much smaller it made the room feel therefore being more comforting to him. Finally gathering all your nerve, you pushed the door open and slipped inside the dark room quickly shutting it behind you. You felt kinda creepy, hiding in the shadows and against the walls of the room but you didn’t want to scare him at a bad point in the game and embarrass him in front of his audience. The game went on for maybe another minute or so before the ending screen played and all the characters began transporting back into the lobby— it was go-time. You felt his body jerk slightly at the pressure on his thigh, his gaze shooting down from the monitor and locking onto yours as you grinned at him from the floor. A soft chuckle escaped his lips as you settled your chin back over his thigh, sighing in content. Your eyes were fluttering closed when he spoke up again. “Are you sure you’re okay down there?”

A soft hum was your only response as you shuffled closer to him, finally giving in and wrapping your arms around his calf; he tensed for a moment and you were just about to unravel yourself from him again when he relaxed before a large hand found it’s place atop your head. You could practically feel yourself melt into him as he began to card his fingers through your hair, another soft hum escaping your lips in content as his nails scratched along your scalp. Chuckling softly, he leaned back toward him set up and reached for his mic, the hand in your hair still carding slowly through your locks causing you to shiver every so often when his rings ran along your skin.

“Hey, sorry, (Y/N) just needed to ask me something.” You giggled softly as he lied right through his teeth to his stream-mates. It was harmless though, just a little funny; you couldn’t hear them anyway. Even if you could though, all you could focus on was the hand running continuously over your head despite the game starting up again.

“Nah just what I want to eat, we can literally never decide what to have…” His words trailed off of your focus as your body relaxed even further into his. The soothing motion of his hand beginning to lull you to sleep no matter how much you tried to fight it off. His thumb began to run along the cheek that wasn’t smushed against his thigh as you floated in and out of consciousness, his touch so gentle you’d begin to think you’re made of glass. You could barely make out his mumbled words as his soft touches finally plunged you in the depths of sleep.

When your eyes fluttered open again they were immediately met with pitch black, which would’ve startled you if not for the solid form resting halfway on top of your body; your mouth pulling into a wide grin as you felt the slow breaths of your person warm the crook of your neck. Reaching toward your nightstand, you pat around blindly until your hand lands on your phone— as much as you didn’t want to move, you didn’t know how much time has passed since you had joined Corpse in his office. Squinting as the light from your phone flooded the room, you quickly turned down the brightness before looking at the time, confirming that you definitely didn’t have anywhere to be for at least the next few hours.

However, as you continued to stare down at your phone you began to scroll through the seemingly never-ending mentions, you only became more and more confused. Finally biting the bullet and tapping on one it immediately opened your screen to Corpse’s Instagram— but more importantly, a picture of you.

There you were, completely relaxed face smushed against his thigh as you slept soundly, but that wasn’t all. That signature hand had taken it’s place carding through your hair just as he did to lull you to sleep. Your heart was already fluttering as you stared at the photo on your screen but you think it might’ve stopped as your eyes caught the caption.

Okay but I’m in a ‘Sizhui is baby and no one can compare to how baby he is’ mood and I want two things:

—-The unseen scene from traveling from Yiling to Lotus pier. I have theories about this (or, at least, I know what I want to have happened) and it’s beautiful: WangXian ends up traveling to Lotus Pier with LJY and LSZ and WN, this is the most logical explanation for how they traveled (unless LJY ended up with the rest of the Lans, but as LWJ’s son, I don’t think they could do anything to convince LSZ not to stay with LWJ when he’s about to feel seasickness for the next however many hours it’s gonna take to get to Lotus Pier, but LJY is the only one I’ll concede might not have traveled with them, the only way I would say LSZ too is if they have a healer he goes to when he feels sick, but they only seemed to travel with Cultivators rn so I’m guessing he would have stayed with Baba) but then, when they got to Lotus Pier, LSZ acted like he didn’t just have several hours to talk to WN about his life in the Burial Mounds. TBH that would actually have been the best time for LSZ to come to WWX and say he’s A-Yuan, when WWX feels like shit and could use a pick me up and just got confronted by the whole Cultivation world

As an aside here, let’s talk about how out of everyone in this conference, the only people shunned from walking about like nothing’s wrong are Sizhui, Wen Ning, Wei Wuxian, and Lan Wangji. Can we talk about how fam all got excluded together? And the fact is, Sizhui didn’t have to choose that exclusion, but he decided that learning about his own family is, right now, more important than blindly following the pack to keep his status within the sect that raised him. He’s kind. He wants to talk to his uncle who is also kind. He wants to bond with him.

So. Why didn’t he spend the boat ride talking to Uncle Ning? Is it because he wasn’t ready to confront WWX who’s Right There yet? No. It’s because baby boy was fucking sick as hell. Sea sickness, as we’ve seen, gives him IMMEDAITE anxiety upon even standing on the pier to the boats. LJY comes up to him and says it’s okay, they can wait a few minutes before they get on a boat. He’s got anxiety. He Knows he’s gonna spend the next few hours sitting feeling sick as hell and absolutely miserable.

Now, what’s different about having WWX and WN with him, instead of just having LWJ? Well, LWJ is great, he’s Baba, he’s probably going to play a healing song that makes him feel bearable enough to make it through this, but then you add WN and WWX and their whole routine is gonna be thrown off.

WWX doesn’t realize how seasick this lil bun is till he’s in the boat with them, and immediate worry descends over him. Poor bun is already moaning in pain as he sits at the bottom of the boat, just close enough that he’s in the shade of the canopy but close to the edge so he can get over in time not to throw up on Baba.

He’s turned on full baby mode rn, and that’s about to set off WWX’s daddy instincts like none other. WN, on the other hand, is a trained nurse (probably would have trained as a doctor, if given the chance) and he’s already ushering WWX to sit behind the kid to give him something to lean against. LWJ is already pulling out the musical instruments so he can play a calm tummy song for his lil bun.

Why does WWX need to let the baby lean on him? Because Uncle Ning is coming to the rescue and he’s got Needles (WWX is a little horrified at WN gonna be using these needles on this poor defenseless bun who can’t even protect himself from icky tummy feel, but accepts that child abuse is about to happen right in front of him and he cannot stop it) but, the needles, are going to make LSZ’s entire abdomen numb af, and that includes his hips and upper back. Baby boy not gonna feel a damn thing with these needles, but he ain’t gonna be able to hold himself either.

Lots of questions from curious bunny when he’s no longer feeling anything and he’s a melty puddle against WWX who’s stroking his hair and giving him little nuzzles and cuddles and is holding his hand (WWX can’t figure out why, maybe it’s because he misses A-Yuan so much, but he just wants to hold this little one’s hand and give him kisses and tell him he’s being so very good even tho that evil Ghost General used instruments of torture on him and he’s got an icky tummy) and LWJ looks genuinely happy to see the teen no longer upset.

LWJ is going to learn this specific trick for numbing if it kills him. No way in hell is he letting his bun go seasick from now on.

But then, there’s no reason to play healing songs since no one’s gonna throw up, so, of course, this anxious dad pulls up what he knows will delight his lil bun, his son’s childhood lullaby. He hasn’t played it for him in years, and admittedly, he always used to hum it (with said little bun curled into his chest and being rocked to sleep, but he stopped being able to do it when LSZ moved into his own dormitory) and LSZ is just too damn tired to say anything other than having heard WWX play that back in Mo Village before he’s snuggling back into WWX and closing his eyes for a nap.

Anyways. That’s my wish fulfillment for the boat scene to Lotus Pier, baby cuddles and icky tummy’s and uncle’s to the rescue.

—- The second thing that I REALLY want rn!!! Okay so a few days ago I made a post about medical quirks I think people have, and I decided, that LSZ gets long term memory loss (amnesia) after a fever. No matter what, the memories come back, but you need to trigger them first.

The first thing they do when LSZ is sick, is move him back into the Jingshi so he can be with LWJ. No forgetting Baba allowed!!! Make sure he’s comfy while he’s healing, but only adults and healers to visit, because they don’t want the other kids getting sick too. So he usually stays remembering Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji the whole time, since they’re the usual suspects to take care of him. This sometimes leads him to think he’s less than 6 and resorts to asking a million questions like a child and climbing into laps for cuddles. It’s super cute and his Baba and Shufu love it. Give him lots of kisses and snuggles.

But then afterwards, he’s allowed outside again, and gets to reacquaint himself with the bunnies, and his friends. It’s super adorable because it’s always like meeting Lan Jingyi all over again. He loves him instantly every time. Also the bunnies. Sometimes Baba buries him in bunnies again while Shufu sits on the side and sighs a lot.

But then it finally happens. Post canon Sizhui gets a fever. And it happens while they’re on a night hunt. Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck.

LJY is the only one that knows what to do when Sizhui starts crying and pointing to them all and saying he Doesn’t Know Who They Are And Where Is Baba???????? Which mainly consists of saying ‘oh shit’ a lot and going to send a flare (he didn’t even go outside okay that little shit stuck his arm out the window and sent one lol) up before going over to LSZ and sitting next to him and piling blankets on him and saying that Baba is on his way but rn he gets to hang out with his cousin Jin Ling and their friend Ouyang Zizhen! Isn’t that fun! He can have fun with his cousin and friend!

No. That is not fun, and Sizhui’s little lower lip sticks out far enough that LJY knows he’s about to start crying and saying he hates all of them and wants Baba.

Jin Ling be shooketh. Sizhui? Little cuddly Sizhui? Hates them? The first one to say fuck it and climb into someone else’s bed when he’s cold? The one who’s learned how to make Mother’s Lotus Root And Pork Rib soup and the first time JiuJiu tried it he cried cause it was perfect? Sizhui who buried him in rabbits once and told him he was a good kid, just had a lot of anger in him? He hates them? Lol.

So then it seems like the whole crew shows up (Wen Ning, Wei Wuxian, Lan Wangji, the whole dumbass crew in one go) which is good, cause Shufu to the rescue once more, making LSZ feel comfy and giving medicine. LWJ tells him they’re going home to Cloud Recesses and WWX frets over his baby.

It’s super cute. A week later, LSZ wanders out of the Jingshi not knowing left from right, and has to be reintroduced to his friends all over again.

WWX finally understands why his little boy forgot him for so long, and why memory is so damn precious to Lan Sizhui.

He'd have the cutest floppy brown ears that cover his face when he's scared and any loud noise make him jump a foot in the air (and I do mean a foot he's hit the ceiling more than once).

And imagine as the weather gets cold they both get so cuddly and anytime you're home they just want to pull you to bed. They'd be nosing at you and wrapping their arms around you and whimpering that they were cold and needed you to come warm them up.

And you'd finally relent and they'd each curl up on either side of you and you'd switch between pressing kisses to Seungkwan's temple and Seokmin's jaw. You'd shift around and hear Seungkwan moan and both you and Seokmin would look over at him to see him blushing as he shifted his hips back.

You'd ask if he needed some help and he'd nod and nuzzle his face into your neck, pressing kisses to your warm skin as you gently reached into his sweatpants and started to stroke him. He'd let out soft moans and you'd run your hands through Seokmin's hair so he didn't feel left out until he whimpered, the smell of Seungkwan's arousal and his moans getting him worked up.

You'd reach your other hand into his pants and he'd let out a breathy groan at the feeling. You'd feel Seungkwan's lips suck gently at your neck and Seokmin would moan into your hair as they both buck gently into your hands, urging you to go faster and moaning out sweetly for you.

You'd let out a small gasp of your own as you'd feel Seungkwan's fingers push past the waistband of your leggings as he murmured "Mommy do you want some help too? I think you're getting worked up." A teasing edge to his tone.

14x20: Moriah

The Road So Far:

How is Team Free Will 2.0 ever going to beat Michael, the Big Bad of the season?

Now:

We open right where we left off last week. Jack escaped the Ma’lak box by blowing it to smithereens, and took most of the bunker’s storage room with it. “You lied to me.” And then he blasts Team Free Will before flapping off.

The guys assess the damage and discuss Jack. And by discuss, I mean Dean and Cas continue to fight about their differing parenting choices. Dean wants to kill their son; Cas wants to save their son. Quite frankly, it’s obvious their therapist is done with it all. And by therapist, I mean Sam. #prayforSam. (I particularly liked the last bit of the fight when Dean had to walk closer to Cas then he already was, and Cas had to clip Dean’s shoulder as he walked away.)

Sam and Dean continue to discuss the plan for Jack. Dean insists they have to find him and “do the hard thing.” They have to kill him. Sam is visibly upset by the prospect.

Jack, meanwhile, is wandering around a city, listening to people lie to everyone around them. I particularly liked the lines that were filler for the lines that we were supposed to pay attention to:

“You should have seen it. I caught a steelhead this big.”

“I saw ‘em at Coachella last year!”

“That’s not porn. I don’t know what that was.”

Jack flashes his gold eyes and commands everyone to stop lying. This is going to solve all the world’s problems! (Sidenote: I liked this post by @eveiswaywardaf)

Sam and Dean pull up to a company called Mirror Universe. Ahem. Sam’s on the phone with Rowena (oooOOOOooo) --she’s in on their little plan.

The brothers head inside to hopefully use the company’s facial recognition program to locate Jack.

Dean calls the whole room nerds, but Sam calls him out on that bit of hypocrisy. DEAN WATCHES JEOPARDY!, guys! (ofc, he does.) Dean tries flashing his FBI badge at the receptionist, but instead of giving a fake name and reason for being there, he spills the truth.

Oh, it seems Jack’s truth command works on everyone everywhere. Dean tests the situation by asking Sam who his favorite singer is and Sam responds, “Celine Dion.” Oh Sam, Vince Vincente (and Balthazar) are very disappointed in you right now. Dean tells Sam that they can’t lie.

Then, all hell breaks loose in the company. I mean, what show are we even watching? (iloveitwithallmyheartandamnotsurewhatiamgoingtodowithoutit) The brothers escape to an empty room. There’s a TV broadcasting the news that the president spilled his tax history, deep ties to Russia and North Korea, and a “demon deal” with Crowley. Out of context, this might be my favorite part of the episode. I mean, the absolute shade! I can’t think of another show I watch doing this --especially one with a conservative audience like we know Supernatural has. In any event, the brothers quickly put it together that Jack’s behind it all.

And then we’re gifted with my favorite part in context (if that’s possible):

THE STAPLER QUEEN!

Cut to Cas in the alley trying to get access to Hell. The demon monitoring the door won’t let him him. Blerg.

For I’m Going to Hell Science:

But Chuck shows up! Uh-oh. He says he’s here because Cas called him, and “him.” Jack’s a problem.

Jack shows up at his grandmother’s place.

The poor lost cause wants to talk about Kelly. (bby boy, you’re so creepy rn.) She’s visibly upset and tells him that they made phone calls and no one knows who he is, and that others think that Kelly is dead. “What did you do to my daughter?!” Agh, her screaming makes Jack get angry and he demands that she stop (so much like his other grandmother...AUGH). The next shot we see is Jack fleeing from the house. Oh dear.

Meanwhile, Dean’s living his best life NOT lying and talking about the parenting blog he follows. MY HEART. Cas and Chuck show up. Dean wants to know where he’s been. “It’s a funny story. Reminds me of a song.” And the Chuck proceeds to pull up a guitar, which Dean promptly smashes to bits and pieces.

He shouts at Chuck to answer him, and with equal force Chuck responds, “Don’t!” Ugh, I think Dean just remembered he’s not just dealing with cuddly, affable, nebbish Chuck here. He’s dealing with God. To lessen the tension, Chuck snaps them all back to the bunker.

That doesn’t stop the questions that Sam, Dean, and Cas have though. Chuck admits to being around, but he’s hands off. If they want to <insert bad event> that’s on them. He only needs to step in when there’s an Apocalypse.

He stops the truth tellings and sets all the world back to order. Sam wants to know if Chuck can stop Jack. He tells them not exactly, but they can with a special gun. He just made it and hasn’t named it yet, but is leaning on “The Equalizer” or “The Hammurabi”. It’s a gun that sends a wave of multi-dimensional energy across a perfectly balanced quantum link. So shooter and shootee get the same treatment with this gun. Cas asks why he can’t just fix Jack’s soul. “Souls are complicated, even for me.” Dean says that this is it. Cas utters Team Free Will’s motto: There has to be another way. Dean doesn’t think so, and tells Cas to “get on board or walk away.” Cas walks away. (Spoiler: DID Y’ALL SEE CHUCK’S LITTLE SMILE AT THAT!?!)

Jack walks the streets replaying his conversation with his grandma. He’s troubled…

So is Dean! He’s tucked himself away in a corner of his bedroom, steadily working through a stash of liquor. He sits Sam down for a special talk. No, it’s not about how two people can still love each other very much, but need to be apart for a while. (#DeanCasBreakup) Dean is, of course, ready to kill himself to take care of the “Jack problem.” Dean. Bean.

Sam refreshingly calls him on his self-sacrificing bullshit.

“We always have a choice,” Sam tells him. He admits to Dean that he’s angry about their mom and a part of him does want Jack dead as well. But they have a responsibility to try to save Jack first. Jack lost his soul to save the Winchesters. Furthermore, he’s FAMILY. “You want my permission?” Sam asks. “You want me to say I’m cool with losing him and losing you all at once? ‘Cause I can’t do that.” GOD, SAM I LOVE YOU. This was the best, most emotional, most needed speech.

Cas continues his desperate search for Jack, heading to the cemetery where Kelly is buried. Jack isn’t there.

But Jack flaps in. He’s been looking for Cas! Castiel, that beautiful, majestic raven, pulls Jack in for a big hug.

Back at the bunker, Chuck’s a giant dork, playing with an AU archangel blade. Sam asks how many AUs exist. Chuck’s not sure, but we do learn about:

At the cemetery, Jack talks through his failures with Cas. The lying experiment? Huge fail. Coffee and love with the Klines? Catastrophic strike-out. Grandma Kline accused Jack of killing Kelly, and Jack says that he did, just by being born. UGH that is a terrible guilt to lay on a child, soul or not. (Of course, she didn’t know…) Anyway, Cas is a good dad and talks about Jack’s experiences with him. Jack used to hate himself for Kelly’s death, but the feelings are gone. We also learn that Grandma Kline survived her interaction with Jack. Phew!

Sam asks Chuck an ultra-mega-pertinent question: is their world just another throw-away experiment? Chuck insists that this world is the best and he LOVES following the adventures of Sam and Dean. Sam gets pissed off at the idea of Chuck just watching them suffer through terrible near-ends. “You’re my favorite show,” Chuck says with a little side smile.

Sam demands an answer for why all these world-saving burdens have to fall on them, but Chuck offers up the “non-interference” answer. Anyway, he’s not here to argue cosmic ethics with Sam. It’s time to address the Jack problem. Sam finally asks where Jack is, and Chuck reveals that he’s already told Dean. Dean has left the bunker, gun in hand. Y I K E S.

At the cemetery, Jack and Cas talk.

For Beautiful Feelings Science:

Jack is desperate to do the right thing, but he doesn’t have a soul to guide him anymore. Oh, Jack. Cas will be your Jiminy Cricket! Jack WANTS to love. He wants to feel. But he can’t. “You can’t yet,” Cas tells him. They need to go hide somewhere in the world until Jack gets better.

Enter Dean with his metaphorical gun. Cas stands between Dean and Jack and EMOTIONS ARE HAPPENING PEOPLE. Jack refuses to run. He knocks Castiel away and faces Dean, knowing why Dean is there. Jack kneels. He’s ready. And I’m getting tears in my eyes. Because Dean looks at Jack. He REALLY looks at him while Cas and Sam watch the story unfold.

This metaphorical gun, while almost a joke because of its obvious symbolism, is actually perfect. This death would tear into Dean’s soul just as much as it tears into his body. And when Jack tells Dean that he knows he’s a monster just like Dean’s been saying all along, Dean looks at Jack and sees……...

Sam, meanwhile, has been joined by Chuck who is having the time of his life. Drama! Yes. Despair! Yes. Terrible soul-killing sacrifice! Mmmhmm good. Chuck watches Dean while Sam watches Chuck with growing horror. “Are you enjoying this?” Sam asks and Chuck shushes him like he’s in a freaking movie theater.

Dean cocks the weapon, grits his teeth. Finger tenses. He looks at Jack. And he LOWERS THE GUN. And here, I’m going to take a little crying break. This moment means so much to me.

Dean tosses the weapon aside. Chuck springs to life and orders Dean to pick the gun back up. “This isn’t how the story is supposed to end.” And HERE is where Chuck flips from adorable weird bunny to, idk, red-eyed god-bunny of doom.

The gravitas dies. Chuck goes on a rant about wanting to watch the father-killing-his-son storyline. The epic man paaaaaaain! Sam tells Dean that Chuck’s been playing them for fools. Playing WITH them like they’re game pieces.

“Our entire lives. Mom, Dad, everything. This is all you because you wrote it all, right? Because, what? Because we’re your favorite show? Because we’re part of your story?!”

Chuck tells Dean that if he picks up the gun and kills Jack (and himself) that he’ll bring Mary back. Dean confesses that his mom is his hero (cries) and he misses her (cries more) but she would not want this (cries the most).

“Why the games, Chuck?” Dean demands. The Winchesters unite in outrage. “When does it end?” Sam asks.

Chuck snaps his fingers and SMITES Jack. It isn’t fast, or painless. Cas tries to help him while Jack screams. Meanwhile, Sam picks up the metaphorical gun and shoots Chuck. NOOOOO SAAAAAAM!

(Okay, but the metaphorical gun symbolized Dean’s self-destruction but for Sam, it symbolizes how he fights to protect the people he loves. SAM you have come into your own this season. Truly. I am so proud.)

Sam only shoots Chuck in the shoulder and, as Chuck advertised, gets a wound in his shoulder as well. (At least he won’t have to dig out a bullet?) Pissed off now, Chuck throws a cosmic tantrum. “Story’s over,” Chuck says. “Welcome to The End.”

The sky goes dark. Jack’s dead, wing burns scorching the ground.

Sam’s still injured as they gather around Jack. We fall into a camera spiral, dipping down into Jack’s burned out eye socket (ew?) to the tune of Motorhead’s “God was never on your side.”Jack wakes in the Empty and looks around.

The Shadow greets him and draws a smile on their face. (What Would Mister Rogers Do?)

Billie greets him!!!!!!! “We should talk,” she says. Suddenly, all my crops are watered and my skin has cleared!

Down on the world, shit goes down in the cemetery. As an epic score screams about God’s betrayal, the dead claw themselves from the earth.

The woman in white appears. Gacy resurfaces. Bloody Mary rides again. These souls are all back, despite all the work and the death and loss…

It’s The End, and Team Free Will stand together as the dead converge on them. The camera cuts away and we lose sight of them in the pressing of the zombie horde.

I AM SO EXCITED. What a damn gloriously operatic note to linger on for…months.

1: Selfie.

Gonna have to decline this one as I’m very shy but I’ll describe myself a little to make up for it - very long dark reddish-brown hair, brown eyes, pale skin, fun size.

2: What would you name your future kids?

Can’t say for certain, I feel it would depend on what name felt right for that baby but I like many Italian and Celtic names.

3: Do you miss anyone? 

Yes, definitely. Old friends, old pen-pals/online friends who just seemed to disappear. And I miss my partner and my friends when we’re apart.

4: What are you looking forward to?

the weekend Seeing my partner again, working on my writing projects, starting third year of uni, and unashamedly the new Witcher series on Netflix!

5: Is there anyone who can always make you smile?

The lovely @kaffeinic for a start! My best friend, my partner, my doggy 🐕

6: Is it hard for you to get over someone?

All depends on the context. I’ve had crushes in the past that have been relatively easy to get over but then I’ve lost a couple of close friends and that had a pretty traumatic affect on me. Other times it’s been very easy because it’s been the right thing to do because the person I cut off was very toxic/bad for me.

7: What was your life like last year?

In some aspects very similar, my interests are all pretty much the same, my mental health was still difficult to manage and I was looking forward to my upcoming year of uni. But this time last year I wasn’t in a relationship and hadn’t began a really amazing journey of self-discovery.

8: Have you ever cried because you were so annoyed?

feel so attacked rn yes, I very much have. Crying tends to be my natural response to most high-running emotions.

9: Who did you last see in person? 

Within my household, my mum as I’m currently home for the summer. Outside of that, my partner when he last came down to visit

10: Are you good at hiding your feelings?

I can be. I’ve found it depends on how well other people can see. Over the years I’ve had to hide all sorts of things, especially from my family. For years they didn’t know I was severely ill with anxiety and depression but that might be testament to poor observation and parenting skills, or maybe I just became that good and hiding things. I’m striving now to be more open about how I feel rather than bottling things up because it’s like drinking poison. 

11: Are you listening to music right now?

Not at this minute.

12: What is something you want right now?

a hug a life without crippling mental illness  probably inspiration to work on my novel

13: How do you feel right now?

Quite tired, a bit lonely. Really craving some energy and pizzazz

Probably the Monday before last at 4-ish in the morning when my partner had to leave for work.

Pretty much the story of my life. For the last 10-12 years I’ve had to keep so many things to myself, especially regarding my family. I could never say what I thought/believed because it would all spiral into a catastrophe, wasn’t a very safe environment emotionally-speaking. There have been so, so many things I’ve wanted to say but haven’t for the risk of rocking the boat.

Most people I know have them, including myself but I think people can be misled to think that others don’t have them because of the outward images they display. And from my experience they’re usually there for all the wrong reasons (if there’s such a thing as a right reason to have an insecurity)
