i think people need to stop being so angry about people having genital preferences. its not transphobic to not want to eat cunt.
im a trans man and im only attracted to men with a dick and a flat chest (this includes trans men). i cant help it. its just how i am. its not because i don't see trans men as men or something, im just not into pussy.
stop shaming people for not being into girldick or boypussy.
ive also noticed that a lot of these people shaming others about this are also very... weird about bottom surgery. bottom surgery is just as life saving as top surgery. if you actually look on transbucket you can see that it does look real and its very rare that someone completely loses sensation after bottom surgery.
im not as familiar with vaginoplasty, but it seems that people who fear phalloplasty think that scars are hideous and that the first stage is the only stage. thats not true. scars are just a part of someones body, and phalloplasty has secondary stages, after which the neo penis looks just any other dick. stop looking at photos a few weeks after surgery, look for photos a few years post op. it takes time to heal.
people who fear metoidioplasty just think micropenises are gross. thats it. they also think bottom growth is disgusting.
weirdly, all of these people are trans. i have not seen a single cis person on this site go into trans tags and claim bottom surgery is mutilation. ive seen many trans men do it. (the terfs seem to stick to their own tags).
honestly with all the terfs around here its really fuckin weird.
they also seem to believe that there are 4 genders: men, trans men, women, and trans women. thats clearly not right.
they stereotype trans men (they call them boys regardless of age) as being white, submissive, and never wanting to transition. its very rare i see art of trans men who are not white femboys.
they do the same to trans women- sorry, "trans girlies".
interestingly, they always draw feminine women and men, but never masculine anyone. art of masculine people is always drawn by those who are in the process of transition or butch lesbians.
its the terf kool aid. they think masculinity will make them like their oppressors, so they cant imagine that anyone would ever want to be masculine in any way.
they really seem to think bears are gross too. smells like fatphobia.
theyre also weird about trans people who are... not young twinks? why do they keep drawing us in maid outfits? consistently?
and then theres the fanfics. a while ago i made a post about cis people doing this, but since then ive realized trans people do it too. a lot. i am yet to find a fanfic featuring a trans man who is not a submissive bottom. always with tits. always scrawny. always ALWAYS into having his cervix destroyed.
some trans men are like that and they deserve representation, but its the only representation i see.
also, when you look at these peoples bios, you see that they are either cis women in their 20s, or teenage trans guys.
i think they are so out of touch with real world queerness that they have come to believe the stereotypes chasers have made for us.
and thats why trans tags read like fetish tags.
also, transhet people get thrown under the bus. completely erased. i have never seen a fic depicting a straight trans man- sorry, "pussyboy". sometimes i see one saying noooo, hes bisexual. and then he gets railed by a cis man youd see in hollywood.
and why is every fic about trans people porn? do we exist outside of porn or are we just mpreg fetish fuel? yeah, a lot of its mpreg. and they react to REAL LIFE MEN getting pregnant as some kind of joke. they make suggestive comments, theyre just all sorts of weird and invasive. its gross. those are real people.
it fucking hurts to see other trans people talk about bodies like mine as if we're not real actual humans, just sexual fantasies.
i cant go into ftm tags because theres porn everywhere. and its not bots. its young trans men who think trans men are only defined by pussy.
thats not how it works. we're defined by being men. not all trans men have tits and vaginas. surgery exists. this place is crazy.
on youtube men declare that women and faggots are destroying western civilization for wanting basic autonomy.
on tumblr, everyone, except a select few who stop to think, declare that masculinity is inherently restrictive and oppressive and that testosterone is poison. which republicans on youtube also claim. the difference is that tumblrinas think cis men are included in being poisoned by testosterone.
go back to terf island and grovel at the feet of jkr like you have wet dreams about.
just because youre trans doesnt mean you cant be transphobic.
have you heard of tirfs? trans-inclusive radfems. they believe that trans women are women and must be saved from the evil men, and that trans men are men and so are rapists. terfs love them.
you need to understand that transphobia is not the defining trait of terfs. the defining trait of terfism is the belief that men are disgusting, violent, sex driven, out of control, abusive, and rapists in waiting. ive seen them say that male fetuses should be aborted by law. thats eugenics. ya know, like fascism.
because thats what it is. by my definition, fascism is the belief that certain humans are not worthy of life. terfs think men are not worthy of life, and drag trans people into it.
before you decide that trans men, or whatever fetishy term you call us, are all twinks, think. like, at all. is there a reason you think this way? do you have room in your worldview for hairy trans men? hairy feminine trans men? trans bears? trans men of colour? masculine trans men with long hair?
trans men who have surgery and T shots?
or does that seem too much like... i dunno... body horror to you?
thats how these people react to sex changes. they make comments on photos of phalloplasty scars and say it looks like a horrible burn scar. it looks painful they say. "how do you go out in public?", "why would you put yourself through that?".
if someone had a kidney transplant would you say such things about those scars?
both are life saving surgeries. treat them as such.
stop writing the same smut over and over about a woman who can only have vaginal sex and never be anything other than submissive and breedable and slap the word "cuntboy" on it. has it occurred to you that some trans men would like to read about guys like them? not a bunch of white twink clones? fucking hell, it hard to find twink clone smut where the twink even has a flat chest!
it actually makes a lot of trans guys really dysphoric to have so much attention put on the parts we're born with. not all trans guys, but a lot. honestly the lack of representation makes me feel like i have to use parts of me that i cant even look at. ive seen a lot of other guys express this feeling too.
are we not sexy if we don't have sex a certain way? not getting representation hurts. it feels very isolating. the only kind of people like me who get called sexy are called sexy for things i can not do. (seriously i am physically not able to get anything in my front hole without extreme pain. how do you think trans guys like me who are physically incapable of vaginal sex feel about boypussy fetishism?)
anal sex is a thing. do you think its too gross for your twink clone to try? almost like... its unnatural...?... its dirty...?... its... sinful?
good fuckin job, buckaroo, ya reinvented classic homophobia.
there is no form of consensual sex that is sinful. you're just anti kink! if ya think anal sex is gross wait till ya hear about fisting.
youre all "i wanna turn that femboys prostate into jelly" until you realize it in his ass. so you give that femboy a g-spot instead. it doesn't take much to realize that all holes have something gross that comes outta them, not just ya asshole. i mean, blood and earwax is pretty unpleasant too. youre fine with kissing and vomits definitely gross! (your nose is also connected to the back of your throat so if you french someone youre gonna get nasal cavity mucus on your tongue)
if you think anal sex is gross youre just an 80s homophobe.
think of of it this way: i dont wanna stick my dick in a hole that ejects a buncha blood every month anymore than you want to acknowledge that some people prefer to shove something up their asshole. both are equally gross, and neither of them are actually gross at all unless youve been told its gross your whole life.
stop deciding that (however unconsciously) trans men can only be skinny white young twinks. i have actually yet to met a trans man above the age of 20 who is skinny. the trans guys ive met irl are fat and hairy. its quite obvious that the twink thing is just a stereotype.
seriously, yous are missing out on writing smut about fat hairy men, but youre too scared of being *gasp* not perfect under white cishetpatriarchy, ergo it is incomprehensible that someone would be attracted to that let alone want to be like that.
ever since i watched Jumanji: welcome to the jungle, i have wanted to be a fat middle-aged man. i was genuinely confused that that barbie didn't like it. cant remember her name.
yous are the same people who wanna "fuck that old man" arent ya? the people who are usually grossed out when you see an old man above the age of 30? it seems like the same sorta mentality.
if a cis guy got hairy would you call him disgusting and unattractive? not that ive seen. its reserved for trans guys on T.
tldr; theres nothing wrong with having a preference for certain genitals, those people who say its wrong just think its transphobic because they think not being attracted to someone means you hate them. they just don't realize that some people get bottom surgery and that its not a bad thing. theyve been drinking the terf koolaid

Listen, I hate sexism as much as the next guy (in case this post falls into the wrong hands, this is a quirky way of saying I am a woman and a feminist) but drawing tutorials that explain how to draw masculine and feminine shapes are not the enemy.
When your character design teacher tells you that when your viewers see a tall silhouette with broad shoulders, they'll assume it is masculine, it is not them enforcing anything - it is them acknowledging what is already there.
It's common knowledge in art that you need to know the rules in order to break them. It's not always to be taken literally, but this is a situation where it applies. If I don't know what comes off as manly in the first place, how can I make it so it subverts expectations when I reveal my character is a feminine woman? How do I challenge the status quo if I refuse to acknowledge it?
It is a fact of life that by presenting outside the binary or outside your birth sex, you are "breaking the rules". How are visual representations of humans to go by different rules? I yearn for more diverse artworks and characters just like you do - but you can't expect artists to represent everyone accurately if you don't allow them to learn the basics. It would be unfair to blame artists for the extent of gender fuckery in their representations bring "androgynous nonbinary teenager" if you don't allow them to sit with a teacher who tells them how to draw what could be a beautiful and accurate pre-op trans woman.
I focused on subverting ideas of gender, but I have also observed issues with artists who don't know how to draw a feminine silhouette - leading to uncanny character designs, and to making women feel misrepresented, as though their bodies are misunderstood. Similarly - have you never wished some artists with anime styles would stop drawing all their gay men as thin pretty boys with soft features? There's more than just skill playing a role, of course, but when it comes to young artists I know for a fact many are intimidated by broad shoulders, fat and muscle mass. Perhaps a tutorial titled "how to draw a fat person" would sound offensive to some, but something along those lines is needed if we want to represent fat people, be it neutrally or positively, in media.
This is not to say all tutorials are made equal or that most tutorials are perfect. Far from that. This post was written in reaction to a post I saw, which mocked a tutorial for giving an example of how to draw a female shape and a male shape. The guidelines were widely different and the drawings were made to look like the average woman and the average man - but all their labels said was "female" and "male". Comments complained that this tutorial implied sexist things or enforced the binary... It's like some people forgot what "male" and "female" mean. And I don't mean that in the USian Conservative sense. I mean to remind you that I know men who are born female. Sex is different from gender - this is also one of the basics.
Of course, cis women don't all have a hourglass shape, and cis men aren't all over 170cm tall. But your art teacher isn't being an idiot if he tells you that if you tease a character by showing their silhouette with a short stature and curvy features, people will be surprised when they turn out to be a guy. He's helping you make an informed choice.

Another callout post in the air.
I've been told about this post going around when someone was asking me if I was okay; so I've given into a lot of thought and I'm here explain. again. I will not display this person's name because I know the toxic part of my community will go ballistic and I hate that so much. Please don't.
The callout post in question:
Tumblr media
Firstly, those who have tried went from being calm to immediately hostile when I tried to explain myself in dms. And the very rare few who reached out to me apologized for jumping to conclusions. You on the other hand, never tried reaching out to me once. If it's a confrontation in the discord server, then I'm not active in it and most likely forget. If it's a personal dm, I didn't get anything recent from you at all.
1. I did not defend C0nji. yes I do look at the whole anti/proshipping issue on both sides, doesn't mean I condone malicious creepy intent and doxxing/death threats. I'm just saying this artist is not a despicable person as far as I know, nor did they go out of their way of legitimately hurting others. With that being said, their whole idea of 'fiction doesn't affect reality' is very shallow-minded and gross considering how much it has put minors in danger, and they should learn to think about it but that's their choice, and problem. I'm not here to babysit.
2. The same claim I already debunked many times but will say again: I carelessly copy pasted old info and had no idea that word was still there but I removed the term 'Asperger's' and have stopped using it since, I was made aware of this years ago already. At the time I wasn't aware that in a deep negative history, and I've been around a few autistic mutuals who used that term as a scientific term.
3. Another of the same claim: Yes I do see Chihiro as a boy (or sometimes non-binary) cause as a trans man, it brings me comfort to see guys in a skirt with confidence. I'm not the most feminine guy but i'd like to have the freedom to explore without being misgendered. And if people do not like trans Sakura that's understandable, I just want to shed some light where trans woman can look buff, especially those who are as athletic as Sakura. The trans post you showed is meant to be a body positive for pre-op and post-op trans folk but you decided to flip it around and call it something else.
4. Me being genuinely upset of people making claims towards me doesn't automatically mean I've brushed off every transfem's concerns. Some of them who came forward to me, the conversations went from civil to being aggressive because they wouldn't listen or even consider my explanation that my intentions weren't malicious at all. Then the only trans woman who was civil came to me with fair criticism, told me I should be more specific with my content warnings when it comes to drawing pre-op bodies cause it would cause dysphoria for certain trans people, especially to trans women. That was where I listened and assured to be more cautious with how I portray my work.
5. The rest about me woobifying Taka and Gundham which I've addressed many times; characters dressing up in oversized sweaters or acting childlike/naïve doesn't automatically make them incapable or infant. That is never what I intend. And Gundham 'not knowing what sex is'- yes I know he's a breeder, human intercourse is a similar but different thing. He's asking Mondo in his own way because he has lacked connection with people for a long time; that's how I'm portraying, this also has been implied many times in his free time events and with how he talks to people. This is something where I relate to Gundham cause all I had was my art and imagination as a kid, so learning to interact with others is overwhelming.
I also don't understand that apparently Gundham needing people like Taka and Mondo (as dad-like figures) is so terrible- I'll say this now that yes I do portray Gundham as someone who is headstrong but he can feel very lonesome, he just doesn't how to express it. It's okay to need someone who truly accepts you or is that so wrong? Also it was never portrayed that Gundham or Taka need to reply on someone 24/7. so I really don't understand that argument you're trying to make. To me, It just sounds like autistic people shouldn't rely or need anyone at all cause it's offensive. If that's not what you mean I'm sorry, but that's what I'm perceiving cause all your statements are vague.
I not only do research but have talked to autistic mutuals/followers when developing my character Timmy; a lot of the valid criticism comes from how I should write his symptoms, showing both his mature and child-like sides etc, they even share their own experiences so I can illustrate them in a realistic and positive light. The way he's portrayed and capable of many things has made him relatable to a lot of people, which is something I'm trying to strive for; especially when some autistic people (who shared their experiences in my dms) behave like Timmy get ridiculed for ''''acting like 9 year olds'''' in my comment section which is something I never condone in my community I even made a comic post regarding that ableism.
No one is ever obligated to agree with the way I portray my stories and opinions; if someone doesn't like what I'm doing they are free to unfollow, block me and look for any other artist that does a better job in their art. My biggest issue with callout posts like this, is that people have different opinions of what makes a character a good or bad rep. It's very subjective and it depends on every person. Half of them including you do not like my representation, meanwhile the other half does enjoy my work, even find comfort in it. I'm not here to please every single person who didn't get everything they need from my work, I'm one man.
But the most painful part is not debunking these claims over and over; it's when my followers believe them right away without even asking me if they were true. It always leaves me unsurprised but disappointed. And yeah I'm not a good person, yes people tend to get scared of me that's fair, but I'm not as despicable as so many of these callout posts claim. I have talked to certain followers who have the decency to ask me what's going on; followers who actually listened to my explanation, and I listened to them back when they have questions. You don't even have to agree or like me after my explanation, just have the courtesy to ask before jumping to conclusions.
So yeah, the callout post is vague, and blown a lot of things I drew out of proportion and turned them into malicious intent which was never my approach. I was going to personally dm you about this but you have lost it the moment you made an 'awareness' post instead that does more damage than good. Feel free to keep your post up, feel free to think what you will. I just want to say all this to people who are genuinely confused. Whatever you plan to do, go ahead. I'm exhausted and have more in life to worry about. Unless followers genuinely want to ask questions to know more, this will be last time I confront the same. claims.

You're post about vaginal/uterus/etc centralized art really resonated with me, I can't find a decent Tumblr blog that's just like people existing with their bodies and breastfeeding their kids or period art other lovely things like sometimes available on places like Instagram that I feel comfortable interacting with on tumblr- if op of that sort of post isn't actively a radfem/terf, then they're definitely not telling people off in the notes either and that sucks as well
I've been slowly trying to build a tag on one of my blogs about those sorts of things that isn't terf-y and is trans inclusive but it's hard because even if you get past the terfs/radfems there's always truscum/transmeds who want to call you "fake trans" for trying to find love for that aspect of you; already on top of how female centric the idea of how vaginas/etc are and the misogyny rooted in that type of genitalia
As a trans guy who has a genuine interest in carrying my own kids someday it does kind of suck, because there's limited content for this stuff in general that isn't trans exclusive, and it gets even harder to find openly trans inclusive production of these things (generally it's either anti trans or just not discussed)
So I guess just thank you for holding a conversation about this sort of thing, because anytime I find discussions anything like this about trans masculine bodies they're usually inactive and often years old conversations/spaces and that also sucks
So yeah, thank you very much
Oh hey you’re very kind! Thank you for reaching out about it, that’s really sweet of you.
I mentioned it as a kind of one-off comment, but seeing the response to it, and the things you’re talking about here, it’s pretty clear that this is a larger issue than I really understood it to be. And definitely one that impacts transmascs a lot more than is talked about much.
There is absolutely transmisogyny inherent in the vagina-centric radfem stuff; defining womanhood by bodies is largely keeping trans women out of that definition. But it’s also keeping trans men and other non-women AFAB trans folks in the definition of womanhood, and that isn’t discussed nearly as much.
The problem with art, movements, etc. that celebrate vaginas and other body parts for their association with womanhood is not just the exclusivity of it; it’s also the aggressive, forced inclusivity. The solution is not just to leave room for trans women too; including all AFAB people and everyone else who identifies as a woman doesn’t actually fix the cissexism there.
We need to de-couple the ideas entirely. To break the association between vaginas/uteruses/etc., and womanhood; to challenge people’s reliance on that association to feel good about their genders and bodies. The fight for reproductive justice and the stigmatization of these bodies is not just a fight against misogyny, it’s a fight against cissexism as well.
And I’m so tired of seeing the whole “we’re not trying to take this stuff away from women, we just want to include other stuff on top of it” as the “trans-inclusive” argument. Women do not own these concepts to begin with! They’ve never been exclusive to women! Trans men and nonbinary people need these things to be decoupled from womanhood, and we have to be willing to make that space for non-women to engage as non-women.

trans men in nsfw art
this is a topic i wanted to write a post about for a while, and now that i can’t sleep because i’m so anxious that my stomach hurts it might be the time.
i never really mentioned it here, but i’m an artist and semi-involved in the art community. semi, because i neither have a big following nor many friends, so what i come across is usually the stuff thats on the browsing pages. my main site is furaffinity, so it might be different on other pages.
i personally don’t draw trans people at all. mainly because of my dysphoria, but also because i don’t want to get into a situation where i’d have to out myself as trans, because i am stealth everywhere but on this blog, essentially. also, i’d prefer to draw post op trans people and there wouldn’t be much of a difference to cis people anyways, so...
but i often see mainly trans guys depicted. sometimes trans women, but that’s actually really rare, in the last few weeks i have only seen maybe three (i’m not talking about futa/herm characters, which aren’t meant to be trans since they don’t transition and only have mixed up sexual characteristics).
usually i see trans guys a) bottoming and b) having piv sex. and while i definitively understand that some guys might enjoy that, it comes of as very fetishistic to me because it’s always the case. speaking as a trans guy that mostly bottoms, i would rather take it in the ass. in fact, i’d do a lot not to have piv sex, or generally anything that involves that hole. obviously i don’t really like seeing trans men in nsfw art generally because that can trigger my dysphoria and all those nice things, but that would at least be a little less icky to me if there wouldn’t be exclusivly stuff like that. also kinda weird that it’s always two men with the trans guy bottoming, makes me think that all those artists see trans men as unable to top or to have sex with women.
it’s also always trans guys that haven’t had bottom surgery, which kind of makes it more fetishistic imo (though one time i have seen art with a trans man that had metoidioplasty, and that artwork was pretty great and i liked that a lot!).
i have absolutely nothing against ‘cuntboy’ characters, that’s an entirely different thing honestly. i do get why it bothers some people, mainly because of the name, but these characters aren’t trans and fine with their bodies, so seeing them depicted having piv sex is alright.
idk if i’m just making a problem with this in my head, and i also don’t know if i got my thoughts across well, lol.

regarding this post lol since i’m not the op and didn’t wanna spam it with lengthy takes if nobody wanted a long reblog chain
unetherealfeelings said: this makes complete sense and i would love nothing more than for some real LGBTQ representation but honestly speaking i don’t trust our country or the industries top filmmakers to make a solid film. The main reason i don’t see such a thing happening is because big stars such as vijay, ajith and even suriya are precisely that stars. The day they are regarded as actors and not stars i think will be the day we get to see content that’s plot and character driven rather than the nonsense we get now. These stars are more interested in giving what the audience what they want, an aggressively mysognistic hero who mansplains and harasses women while fighting “social causes” and apparently ending all the wrong in the world. And even if they somehow miraculously made such a film i would be scared at see how much they might fuck it up. The consequences of screwing up LBGT relationships in mainstream media are grave especially in the times we live and the extremist government and its followers. At the end of the day tho I think we are better off wishing queer representation from art house films that are actually interested in creating complex characters worth caring about. Maybe if these films are done right, we could be hopeful of such change in mass films :/ Having said that i think it’s so adorable to see queer characters being played by big stars, just imagining Suriyas eyes or Madhavans smiles has me soft HAHA
i definitely agree that tamil stars are very backward compared to stars from, say, the malayalam industry (both prithviraj and nivin pauly playing openly gay characters warrants praise ngl), and they’re way more concerned about their family and kids audience and stuff and how their image is projected to the masses. hence, the unending commercial potboilers we are made to witness year in and year out from them with only a little differentiation
BUT i do say that suriya is a completely different type and level of star in relation to vijay and ajith. i can’t see the latter 2 doing anything in this capacity, but suriya is.. idk.. he’s somewhere in limbo with this. he’s the only big tamil star to have openly acknowledged and thanked a lgbt fanpage in his name, he liked a lgbt positive tweet when india repelled the law criminalising them, he’s the only one to have given money multiple times to trans groups during this lockdown period and made no grand air or speech about it. somehow, i CAN see him playing a queer character on screen, and his image is less massive than vijay or ajith, for which i am perpetually thankful, cos i never want him to become as huge as vijay or ajith in terms of this. of course he will still be cautious about it and i don’t present him to be some gay rights king championing lgbt discourse, but it’s a start and i definitely see him as the most feasible top star who could plunge into doing something like this on screen, because we know 2 reasonably big and important things in this context; in that 1) he’s very much aware of these issues, and 2) he’s 100% not homophobic/transphobic, and is an ally, neither of which we can surely claim about other stars in the industry cos we just never see them talk or engage with anything like this the way suriya has done
there’s always a possibility of messing up in tamil cinema when someone is pioneering a lgbt film with a big name, but i’d be more forgiving of it if they actually try? and then try again, and again. this is why i am not very interested in arthouse or small indie tamil films in this cos these films do not make a splash or is viewed by the masses. i think a big name attached to a project being openly queer in a film would do more wonders for pushing dialogue in this, even if it’s not a perfect film and there’re things i’d potentially take issue with. i’d still very much rather a top hero do it and they have proper lgbt consultants on set and with the script for sensitivity issues than wish for a small budget flick with unknown names that’d wash out of cinemas in a week or get little to no limelight imo.
primarily because i am ok with a normal mass, commercial film too if the hero is queer. it does not matter to me, i don’t need every lgbt film to be like... deep and philosophical and talking about long seated societal issues. if i have to see suriya play a simple village dude beating up bad guys but his romance interest in the film is another man and they still have cute song and dance sequences, sure, i’d take it, no problem. it can be made within the exact same template we’ve all come to know and love except it’s not heterosexual (or cis, cos i’d be happy with a trans woman lead romance story, too). i guess for me the fundamental thing is not whether the film is ‘’mass or class’’ or anything like that, i want a big star face on it doing it genuienly and sincerely more than i want it to be done perfectly right with no complaints.
*COUGHS* vijay sethupathi pls be suriya’s boyfriend.. thank u, ;__;

Touhou Fandom To-Avoid: c0lb0h, a.k.a. Joseph
a little over two years ago, I made this account to warn others of an individual named Joseph, better known as c0lb0h or Kirboh. at the time this callout was made about him, he among other things stalked LGBTA+ artists within the Touhou fandom in hopes of receiving yuri art of Touhou characters, and has acted out like a child upon being reasonably told to keep his distance by said perturbed artists.
after some guilt-tripping on his blog about how mean those Evil Social Justice Warriors were to him, including a death threat towards yours truly for daring to catalog receipts of his behavior, he seemed to simmer down for the time being, and we’d assumed it’d be the last of him. unfortunately, according to a friend from the grapevine, this wasn’t the case.
what began as a textbook case of stalking and harassment for the sake of Touhou porn turned into a full-on campaign to shame at least one of his prior victims in particular, as well as a none-too-surprising demonstration of how shameless /jp/ gets about their thirst for yuri pics. this post contains depictions of transphobia and sapphobia in particular, overall bigotry and shitty behavior from Very Angry Male Touhou Fans that want things strictly their way.
first things first, let’s check in on his blog, shall we?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
business as usual, also lol at that racism tag.
but we’re not here to re-tread old ground, are we now? how about uploading art by one of the artists that blocked him to Gelbooru without her permission? after explicit requests from her to not do that maybe?
Tumblr media
unsafe for work submissions are omitted from the above image. minors, please do not browse the above website, it is rife with stolen, 18+ artwork. also worth noting is that much of kagewaka’s artwork features her interpretation of Kagerou Imaizumi as a pre-op trans woman, and as with anything involving harmless, diverse headcanons of canon characters, this hasn’t escaped the ire of angry, shitty Touhou fans.
it certainly didn’t escape c0lb0h’s.
Tumblr media
in previous posts, Joseph’s shown a tendency to favor petty little acts of rebellion when he doesn’t get his way, and since the last time he’s been covered, he’s called upon bigger fish to pressure her for him. as a result, kagewaka/wagasagayhime has suffered numerous breakdowns due to harassment from Really Mad male Touhou fans that took offense to her artwork and made a fuss of such on an anonymous imageboard.
and in the midst of it all, the dude responsible still sees it fit to play his dime-a-dozen woe-is-me card, wonder how on this green earth he could possibly be disliked as much as he is.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
also note his use of art from another artist he’s gotten blocked by. thanks for letting fellow Touhou fans in Miami, FL to avoid your crusty ass I guess? (especially, again, minors)
since this wasn’t clear the first few times: Joseph, you’re not welcome in this fandom, let alone any fandom that lesbians and other women-loving-women consider a haven to express themselves in. your behavior, past and present, is concrete evidence that you never were in the first place, and never will be.
and to other male Touhou fans reading this: it’s your responsibility to keep an eye out for and prevent this kind of thing from festering as much as this case has.
shame on you.

On Pokémon and Insensitive Portrayals
WARNING! LEAKED CONTENT FOR POKEMON SWORD AND SHIELD AHEAD! AS WELL AS DISCUSSION ABOUT CONTROVERSIAL TOPICS! AND PLEASE, DON’T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS UNTIL YOU FINISH READING THE TEXT, I TRIED MY BEST NOT TO DEMONIZE ANY OF THE PARTIES INVOLVED IN THIS DEBATE!
So, I’ve just found out that some Jewish fans have condemning the design of Impidimp’s final evolution, Grimmsnarl, for being eerily similar to antisemitic caricatures from Nazi propaganda.
Tumblr media
They claim his green complexion, curly dark hair and long, pointy nose is pretty close to Third Reich-era depictions of Jewish people. The issue is similar to the controversy surruounding Jynx that happened when the series first came to the West. I decided to write this in order to expose my opinions on the matter, and maybe prevent further conflicts between defenders and accusers. Keep in mind, I can’t speak for Jewish people since I’m not one of them, but I personally believe anyone can share their opinions about controversial topics as long as they don’t commit the mistake of thinking they know more about a group they don’t belong to than themselves. Here goes my thoughts:
I personally DON’T believe Game Freak, as a company at least, is actively discriminatory against any group in particular; the majority of their employees, even the main members of its staff, might hold some biases coming from the still pretty conservative Japanese culture they’re inserted in. But they’ve already shown thorugh their actions throughout the years they’re not trying to perpetuate hatred towards any group in particular, even taking some measures - some of them, even too drastic, IMO - to secure that, like changing Jynx’ color palette starting from Gen III, temporarily replacing Brock in the anime with Tracey and slightly altering Gym Leader Lenora’s default design to please the fans concerned with their possible racist implications. But I think the biggest proof of that is how, starting from Gen V, they’ve been making an effort to include more diversity among their human cast, including more and more characters with different cultural and ethnic backgrounds with each passing generation, and even alluding to sexual diversity from time to time - if only through subtext, in the latter’s case (save for that post-op trans woman in the Battle Chateau, which got slightly less explicit in the English localization). Of course, not everything is perfect in that department, as can be attested by their reluctancy to depict the Player Characters in their more dark-skinned variations, as of X and Y, (and before that, the complete absence of that possibility in-game) in promotional art and spinoff media outside of screenshots of main series games designed specifically to showcase character customization, but I’d like to think this had more to do with the Japanese market - still their main target audience, despite the franchise’s success over the entire globe - being hesitant to accept character designs outside certain “standards” for their PC’s even to this day, to a lesser extent than in the past, of course. But one thing that people need to understand is that companies are complex entities encompassing many individual minds; them having flaws and making mistakes from time to time does not necessarily mean they are rotten to the core, even if, in the end, their main priority is making money for themselves (altruism is NOT a strong point in capitalist societies, sadly, but I digress).
With all that said, I’d like to point out as well, that sometimes, good intentions are not enough to perform a good deed; in fact, they can lead to grave consequences! And it’s not different with representation; sometimes, one can intend to portray a character from a certain group in a positive light and end up being tremendously insensitive, usually due to their own ignorance towards that group. I believe that’s the case with Jynx and other examples from Pokémon; while I’m one of the fans who prefer to believe Jynx is based on the Youkai Yama-Uba (refer to this link for more info on that: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Jynx_(Pok%C3%A9mon)#Origin), I cannot deny there is a strong similarity between Jynx’ original design and blackface caricatures, specially since the Yama-Uba is usually portrayed in Noh theatre by performers wearing blackface - even if without the intention to emulate actual black people. It doesn’t help that the anime chose to portray this species as Pokémon’s equivalent of Santa Claus’ usual elf assistants, possibly linking Jynx to Zwarte Peit, a infamous folklore figure heavily associated with Santa as well. In regards to the substantially smaller Lenora controversy, I personally believe it was the case of GF misinterpreting some depictions of black women from less-enlightened times, in particular those borrowing from the mammy stereotype, as something more positive than they actually were, possibly connecting them to traditional Japanese ideals of femininity and motherhood, but that’s just a wild guess, I admit. What I’m sure, however, is that while Lenora’s apron could be excused as a means to carry her archeological tools, even if I’ve never seen an actual archeologist wearing aprons to do so, her original Gym Leader Title in the Japanese version of the Gen V games, “Natural-born Mama” raises a lot of suspicion against the intent behind her design, specially since she’s not known to have children, have a particularly “motherly” personality, act as a mother figure towards any character in-game or have an occupation that could be interpreted as being akin to a mother’s role; the best I can think of is Lenora and her husband referring to each other as “mama” and “papa”, but considering other Gym Leader titles refer more to their main character features, and Lenora’s relationship with Hawes is more of side note in comparison to her role as Nacrene Museum’s director... the fact the rest of her characterization is pretty straightforward, lacking any racial elements to it, however, lends credency to the idea GF didn’t intend her to be a caricature of black women.
Nevertheless, the closeness between those depictions and real world racist depictions of minority groups is still unsettling, at least to some. And just because the author’s intention wasn’t to offend a certain group, it doesn’t mean people don’t have the right to dislike their work for that. After all, so many people hate Palkia’s design for resembling male genitalia despite that obviously not being the intention! What if they coloured Cloyster light pink instead? Would you blame people for associating it (even more) with a vagina? I’m not saying we should storm off GF’s office demanding they change Grimmsnarl’s design while accusing them of being bigots, specially since I don’t believe it’s the case at all; all Im saying is that there’s a strong point of favour of those discontent with the characters’ design, despite all claims that it’s not meant to represent something they despise. I don’t know if GF should feel impelled to change Grimmsnarl’s colouring to solely please those people, but I’m sure I’d also hate if they created, even unintentionally, a character who bore too much resemblance to a particularly negative depicition from a group I belong to, say, some Fuu Manchuu-esque Evil Team Leader or the like. If they simply made a new Pokémon with a Chinese-inspired aesthetic, even if some elements were a bit cliché, like Ludicolo is for Mexican people, I wouldn’t mind nearly as much.
And I don’t think anyone should dismiss those concerns, much less with weak arguments such as “if you see racism in that, then you’re the real bigot” like I’ve seen out there, just because they don’t grasp the ideas I exposed above. Neither do I approve the attitude of people who react with too much intensity to opposition towards their accusations or jump the gun and accuse GF of being prejudiced towards a specific group without enough evidence or incite violence of any kind towards them because of those unfortunate depictions. Remember, they come from a culture far away from our Western issues, so it’s more likely than not that they aren’t even aware of them, specially more relatively obscure elements like old Nazi propaganda. Having a British man as one of their main designers can help, but even Western people aren’t aware of all Western problems, so...

All longanon answers:
also why does nobody care that gc men/radfems talk positively about intersex issues FOR THEIR OWN SAKE not just to confuse people about sex. Some of us have CAH or AIS, PAIS. 2nd, a GC opinion: men want uteri & to go by she? Go for it. I think it's reactionary, & I'll be open about that, but it's not my choice. But pushing lines like "lesbians like dick, afab-exclusive=fetish" is WRONG. My family has already brought up transdick as a gotcha. Too few of yall care about fallout for gnc/gay people.
Not sure if this is out of order however: “afab-exclusive = fetish” is wrong, it’s not a view I support, and I agree there’s fallout for gay people, so why are you telling me off for pushing it when I don’t?
where do I see lesbians like dick? everywhere. Not explicitly here, though implied with referencing that some lesbians might like no-op transwomen. You are carving out a niche balanced view, and I appreciate that. Don't pretend like it's the majority of the trans/nb community, or the liberal or leftist take on things.
Why are you talking to me as if I am speaking for the entire liberal or leftist ‘take’? You’re talking to me, you get my viewpoint.
there's a lot more going on with ‘erase women’s anatomy and oppression’ than I even have knowledge of. But for me some big ones: it's no longer women's reproductive justice. It's pregnant people, despite us all knowing damn well the intersection between our potential reproductive system and how woman has meant (still means) property too often. Femininity isn't social control, it's fun! It's expression, medically necessary, a part of womanhood. Rapes/assault being covered up.
“Pregnant people” vs “pregnant women” is important in medical contexts to prevent female people being denied medical care on account of not being ‘women’. It also makes self-help resources more inclusive for gnc female people.
“Femininity isn’t social control, it’s fun!” - femininity is social control for female people. Non-female people practicing femininity are literally breaking their prescribed gender roles and undermining the patriarchy.
“Rapes/assault being covered up” - specific examples?
And I'm sorry but I've seen some of the same trans-activist people in threads you're on, who you interact with positively, say shit like "anyway terfs die". Now, maybe someone they perceive as a terf has threatened them. Someone I know to be trans has threatened me. Is it ok for me to go online and say "TRAs, die"? Ofc not. So you tell me you call hateful TRAs out equal to calling out terfs, and I have doubts. Perhaps you could title your blog Terfs and Misogynist TRAs lying, and work on that.
I like how manipulatively you have phrased, “someone they perceive as a terf” vs. “someone I know to be trans”. I’ve also seen hundreds of TERFs online post shit like “Trannies die”, and had death threats personally from people I KNOW to be TERFs. Both sides behave like shit in that sense, and both sides feel like they are on the defensive. The only way to end that nonsense is to STOP participating in “well they do _____ so it’s okay for me to do _______”. But guess what? I’m also not the Tumblr police. Do you personally check the blog history of every person you interact with on Tumblr to ensure they’ve never said anything Problematique? Because I don’t, sorry.
re: erasing women's oppression, there's also a deliberate attempt to chuck out all the shit from the 70s you apparently hate. God forbid we misgender a rapist, or "cancel" any man for misogyny, but reading even excerpts from old radical feminists? Heresy, evil, invaders. Quite fucking honestly, I'll look into the history, but this calling some women political lesbian and thus dead to us thing has all sorts of potential as antifeminist slander. Especially if men think they can talk on it.
I’m talking about actual events in the 70’s that set up the trans-discourse-in-lesbian-spaces-non-stop situation, not whatever shit you’re talking about here.
Also, I have literally done readings and annotations of many radical feminist texts on this site. Stop using me as a puppet to argue with every person you’ve ever thought was a TRA.
I’m also curious if when you became "ex-" radfem, does this mean you also became against being critical of porn and critical of the sex industry? Note - critical of the INDUSTRY and culture, as in the corporations and bosses, pimps, traffickers, johns, and the academics, "art", and media who cover it as queer or fun or sexy or a good way to pay off student loans... not the workers or the prostituted (i'm differentiating here based on a spectrum of how much autonomy and liberty is retained)
No, it doesn’t mean that. I’ve said before - I am pro sex-worker and believe in evidence based rules for helping women in that situation, which means no Nordic system, but I don’t believe that you can ‘manage’ any sex workers in a brothel-type situation without it being dangerous.
I also am passionately opposed to all kinds of trafficking and slavery for personal reasons, and that obviously includes people trafficked for sex work.
at the end of the day I'm still just like... why can't women who love cis and trans women (or men who love cis and trans men) just say you're bi and that's your preference? Why does gay and lesbian have to always theoretically be flexible? It's obviously used against us, in a biased manner (again, does anyone really expect and go after straight people to be flexible?) ... and is it really worth it? Is temporary relief of a social construct borne pain worth it?
It’s not for ‘relief of a social construct borne pain’ - it’s just to accurately describe myself.
Because I’m not bi. I’m a lesbian. I exist in my city’s lesbian society, as a lesbian who dates lesbians. Then later, I became trans-inclusive. ‘Lesbian’ has to be flexible because human beings are flexible.

about page for mobile
who runs this blog?
i’m heart! i’m a 29 year old black femme lesbian and my pronouns are they/them/theirs. if you have any other questions about me, feel free to ask!
what is this blog for?
this tumblr is meant to be a positive space for black femme lesbians. i thought it would be nice to have a blog that only has stuff that makes people feel good, like pictures of awesome people and affirming posts and cute art. the world can be really stressful and hostile to people like us and this blog is meant to give us a break from that! i also think it’s so important for us to support each other and see each other happy and thriving, so i hope i can facilitate that as much as i can.
how should i interact with this blog?
anyone who isn’t a man can follow me or interact with my posts as long as you’re being respectful. (if the op of a post i’ve reblogged asks for certain people not to interact, please respect that as well.)
i block blogs if i can’t see them because tumblr has marked them as sensitive content. i also block porn blogs that follow me.
my ask box is open and anonymous questions are always allowed. anyone who wants can send me a message about anything, but if your question is about something heavy or potentially upsetting, i’d prefer that you not use anon so i can answer you privately and not have triggering material on the blog. i also accept selfie submissions (or i will reblog your selfie post if you send me a link), but only from black femme lesbians.
is this blog safe for work? can i follow if i’m under 18?
yes and yes! this blog is an all-ages space and will never have any nudity or explicit sexual content.
is this blog trans + nonbinary inclusive?
absolutely yes. i am trans myself and i love and support all trans and nonbinary people, especially trans women, with my whole heart. ♥ please let me know if i have reblogged something from a transphobic person because i do not ever want to give them a platform. (make sure you include links or screenshots - i'm trans, digging through transphobic people's blogs is not a fun time for me.)
i need advice, can you help me?
as a scorpio i cannot guarantee that any of my advice will help you in any way. i like being asked, though!
since this blog is all-ages i won’t answer questions about sexual topics. scarleteen, planned parenthood, and bedsider are all excellent resources with tons of information and advice.
i want to know your opinion on some discourse topic.
yeah, all right, send me an ask.
something you’ve posted is wrong or offensive.
please let me know so i can fix it right away! if the issue is related to the person who wrote the post, include screenshots or links so i can see what’s up.
you reblogged something of mine and i’d like you to take it down.
of course! just let me know which post it was and i’ll get to it right away.
i have another question for you.
cool, send me a message!
you use a lot of exclamation points.
yeah!!!!!

During these past two days or so, I've been walking around shirtless again. I just want to enjoy the warm spring breeze on my chest while I still can. I do want new boobs, I really do, but I wish having boobs didn't socially limit me in sexist ways. I first faced that injustice when I was around 5-6 years old, and was told to cover up. As a kid, which was back in the mid 90's, I watched a lot of Astrid Lindgren's, the movies based on her books. And I remember there was a scene in "Emil in Lönneberga" that glued stuck in my mind of sheer envy. When the kid, Emil, went skinny dipping in a lake together with an adult male friend of the family, and afterwards they both put on just a pair of jeans each. They didn't need to put on shirts, but could enjoy the summer breeze on their bare chests.
As a little girl myself, when I first saw that scene, it meant something that hit me very deeply. Not only was it the boy who was allowed something which I wasn't, but the man in his resemblance was allowed what I also never would be, as I'd grow up to be a woman.
That's where my dysphoria began, in that very moment. Envy.
I had my top surgery 5 years ago when I thought I was a trans man, and detransitioned last summer. Although I never much enjoyed the result cause it always felt so awkward, wrong and unnatural, and now with the additional sadness following having allowed my regret to exist... one thing I've always enjoyed since the that first summer post-op back in 2014 is the warm summer breeze on my bare chest, while wearing just a pair of jeans. Cause I've been replicating that scene in that movie a lot, what those characters wore.
It fills me now, with a sad satisfaction that yes, I am allowed now... but to what price?
Only because people read me as male and because I no longer have my beloved breasts. It's still not fair. That what men can do with their natural bodies, women only can after having had invasive surgery to resemble men.
I wish to change that. I want to be in that fight somehow, when I have new breasts again. It might seem like a small societal injustice, and like there are more important issues to focus on, but it's a big thing for me. Cause it did traumatise me, and made me think my body was wrong for developing breasts. In the future I wanna go to nudist beaches, and if there's any "free the nipple" marches in my country I'll join them. I'll turn my body into androgynous art and annoy the internet with my "female presenting nipples" until people just have to confront me about it. And preferably eventually also confront the damned laws/rules about it too.
I guess I really don't want for any other women to have their breasts removed because of sexism. It's an awful reason. I wish I hadn't.
This may likely be the last summer that I can show my chest freely, but do take note of that I will never stop showing it, regardlessly. I choose this battle.
(Just in case it gets taken down, I'll add my pic in a reblog. Without the context, you'd have to look hard to see a woman in that pic.)

i know as well as yall that no one comes here for my hashtag thoughts posts but for the low budget anime people (of which there will always be lots do not worry) but since this is kind of relevant to the last post i was making re: writing things that are niche (in this case, writing about trans characters) it’s also kind of relevant to the entirety of my hetalia content productions so bear with me
i’ve started thinking about something (and when you read this you know you’re in for some useless, long winded shit) and it might seem like something irrelevant, overthinking about semantics and so on, but two things in the arc of these past few hours have caught my attention and they were both posts made by trans women on this website:
the usage of the word “trans”, how it’s often used not as an adjective but as a signifier that you’re talking about a completely separate and different class of people, ex the use of “trans men” vs “men” immediately evokes a different meaning into most people’s heads (cis or not: i am guilty of the same thing, often) when it shouldn’t. op proposed that instead we use, as a sort of lingustic protest, “men” vs “cis men” as opposed to the opposite and usual language.
another trans woman reclaiming the use of the words “dysphoric female” to describe herself. which is, honestly, a genius move. i wonder how much we as gay trans people can reclaim of gay cis people’s language before people start getting pissed off, even if the language technically does apply to us (example: i’m a dysphoric gay trans man. however, if i said “dysphoric gay man” in my description, people would probably assume i’m cis, despite me never specifying that bit anywhere). if you leave out the signifier “trans”, however, people will start taking issue with it and i wonder why that is-
it got me thinking about a problem i run into costantly when posting trans content: the posts (fanfiction, fanart, headcanons) i tag as trans character, transtalia, etc receive way less interaction and attention than the posts i don’t tag as such.  people feel awkward about reblogging that art. reluctant about reading those fanfictions. and while part of me is like “well, it’s just because it’s different!”... so are aus. so is nyotalia/genderswaps... so are really seemingly popular things i don’t get at all like 2p hetalia and hell even stuff like omegaverse... more than questioning people’s individual intentions when thinking “meh, not into this” i would challenge the fandom-wide assumption and mentality that writing about trans characters is something really that much different from other forms of canon-divergent content... everyone seems to be fine and dandy with canon divergent headcanons and LGB headcanons until that headcanon involves the character being trans, then it’s bad and “op” is really pushing it too far, apparently.
however at least as far as my own “content” goes, that doesn’t necessarily mean the characters are cis in posts where it’s not specified: au contraire, i usually still think of certain character as trans, it’s just not relevant to the subject matter of the post. “cis” is just assumed by the people viewing it, even when it was never my thought or vision, by virtue of there not being any trans-related tag.  it’s almost as if, when i specify that in the post x character is trans, people view it as a completely different character. “trans aph hungary” is not the same in people’s mind as “aph hungary”... and so on.  when in fact, it’s a distinction that i do not make in my head: whether i write a character as trans, cis or up to interpretation and anyone’s personal discretion it’s always the same character i’m writing about, with a few differences (on the same level of “difference” between the same character but in different aus).
when it’s assumed that i’ll be fine with people interpreting characters in my fanwork as cis unless otherwise specified (the real answer: it depends), i wonder what kind of reaction it would provoke if i did the opposite. it raises some interesting questions yknow.
can i see a character as trans in other people’s work, if it’s never specified they were meant to be cis? would the person be fine with it, just as it’s assumed i’m fine with people reading any of my works as not part of a trans narrative unless i lay it out nicely for everyone to see and skip past it? (as if me being trans doesn’t influence literally everything i create.. in a way, any narrative i come up with is a trans narrative, if only in a small percentage)
if i told people “certain characters are not cis in my fanwork unless i specify it”, would those “unspecified” drawings/fics/etc still be well received, or suffer the same fate of the art/etc that i specifically tag for trans headcanons? how much would a good reception depend on the fact that most people will not know about me or my intent anyway?
would refusing to tag any trans content as “trans” specifically (see above: instead of “trans hungary” vs “hungary”. if i tried to change it into “hungary” vs “cis hungary” as far as my content functions) be a power move, or would it be taking away visibility from a community of content creators that is already small and marginalized?
i wonder i wonder... but my conclusion at least at the moment is that i feel way more affection towards the small transtalia community that exists than spite towards a faceless (and probably too big for me alone to challenge) fandom-wide and really, society-wide norm so i’ll keep my tagging system and all, and i’ll keep writing trans characters, and if anyone doesn’t like it idk. they can go outside and pet a cat i guess. do something productive instead of reading terribly verbose and useless posts written by me on niche issues like this

You don't have to post this, but it's upsetting me really bad that you're repeatedly showing you don't care about trans femme people. THAT'S terf rhetoric. Please listen when people tell you you've upset them
Rhetoric: the art of effective or persuasive speaking or writing, especially the use of figures of speech and other compositional techniques.
TERF rhetoric is then, by definition, the art of effective or persuasive speaking or writing, especially the use of figures of speech and other compositional techniques, to justify excluding trans people, especially trans women.
Me refusing to lie and tell a tumblr stranger that won't regulate their emotions, won't read and process anything said that doesn't immediately validate their own beliefs, move goalposts, and continue to self-victimizing because they're upset -- not right or wrong, but upset -- that they're right because they can't emotionally handle being wrong is not "TERF rhetoric", and claiming it is because you don't like seeing your friend or partner upset (because unless they've been publishing our conversation, you'd have no way of knowing we were still talking)? Now that's fucking insulting. I would never equate me personally having to deal with young LGBTQ+ members that refuse to learn about and admit to unknowingly using TERF dogwhistles and rhetoric with the actual act of using TERF rhetoric.
Y'all purposely refusing to listen to me and instead charging forward in conversation without taking a minute to breathe and get your emotions in check is not my fault. Throwing an accusation like this because y'all are upset gives me the impression that you'll call anything that you don't immediately agree with or wish to discuss "TERF rhetoric". If you thought someone making a side note of the fact that community exclusionism of sexualities are literally pushed by mainly TERFs to indoctrinate young LGBTQ+ people, radicalize them, and normalize the idea of "I can choose who is and isn't a real (blank)", and thus a form of TERF rhetoric, was watering down transmisogyny? Think about how insulting and diluting it is to say "X person not agreeing with me is TERF rhetoric." THAT'S fucking insulting.
You are one trans feminine person who is contradicting the multitudes of trans feminine people I know, am good friends friends, and talk to weekly (it'd be daily if we weren't all working ourselves to death but y'know). Your feelings and viewpoint are just as valid as every trans femme person's, but I'm not going to usurp a fact solidified by empirical evidence and the voices of multiple trans femmes I've known over the years and currently know, for the opinion of a stranger. I'm genuinely sorry this is upsetting you, and that I have upset you. But you also need to be aware that being upset doesn't mean you're automatically in the right. I already clarified that this was a misunderstanding and I made the mistake of not going in to further depth about what I meant in the tags. I admit that, what was in the tags alone, was broad enough that it could've been interpreted many ways, including equating issues to one another (as opposed to what I meant, which was the similarities they share, mainly by the same group -- not that the issues are the same, but that the group in question is an instigator in both issues). I admitted it, and I'm sorry. My tags were absolutely too vague and I should've clarified before queuing the post. And in an agreement where both parties took down the posts in question (OP's being just the response where they screenshot my tags and whatnot) I followed through, and neither the original post with the tags, or the response, are on my blog anymore. And I haven't heard anything about anyone who follows me messaging / reblogging them and being aggressive, like I experienced (not meaning you; you haven't been aggressive or necessarily rude). I am transparent about what I've done wrong, and its public now too!
This hasn't been reciprocal, however. There's been no "maybe I overracted a little bit", no "I shouldn't have immediately resolved to name calling, that was immature", no "maybe making a whole addition to my post because I was emotional was a bad move"; no attempt to reflect on behavior, or self-evaluate, or hold oneself accountable. Just continuous demands for "tell me I'm right! tell me I'm right!!! you're a bad mean man because you won't tell me I'm right!!!!!" No, I won't lie and say someone is right just to satiate them. I don't coddle unreasonable behavior. I have literally been through enough therapy that I don't have the patience to deal with people who refuse to get better and instead continue to paint themselves as the victim when they don't get their way, because it's easier than self-accountability. I acted that way too when I was younger, and getting told "okay you're right" doesn't solve anything or make it better. It just pushes people to find others who fit their confirmation bias as opposed to broadening their horizons. Which tumblr is great for if you don't get popular. I would encourage the latter of the two choices, and probably getting therapy too because this behavior is not healthy, but I not only can't control others (nor do I really want to), but I'm sure everything said will be twisted in some manner to make me look like I'm some horrible, evil person.
I'm a dick, yeah. I'm pretty open about that. But I also care about people. The only issue is when you make it clear you don't care about anyone that isn't you or just like you. And that's exactly how they've been acting. If you only extend your care to "me and my friends and fuck everyone else" well then. I'm not gonna waste my emotional energy on someone who doesn't give two fucks about anyone else.
#anyways it was nice have confirmation that they were lying about not knowing that anon#which i figured was a lie#unless they're sharing sceenshots of our IMs in which case that right there just solidifies the need for drama#like bro i mentioned this offhand to a friend before moving on because this is literally tumblr drama with a stranger#i have bigger things to worry about. i have a $2.5k bill due wednesday for my top surgery#my best friend just got out of the hospital after being there nearly 2 months because of surgery complications#i'm in the process of trying to figure out why i can't stop sleeping and if there's anything i can even do to fix it#i still need to talk to my lawyer about power of attorney in case my physical illnesses take a turn for the worst#i literally do not have enough emotional energy or time to drag this out another day. i'm sorry i upset you and your partner/friend#but they aren't going to get what they want from me and vice versa. there will be no compromise. no agree to disagree#i won't submit to their unreasonable behavior and they won't regulate their emotions or behavior#this is how its gonna end. with them either holding up their end of the bargain like an adult would and like i did and deleting the post#and ceasing communication. probably blocking after / blacklisting usernames to avoid further accidental communication#or them not following through with the agreement and continuing to try and argue with me and act belligerent and childish and get ignored#it sucks but that's how shit goes sometimes. not everyone's gonna agree and not everyone's gonna be able to end things peacefully#though I've tried to end it as peacefully as possible. but whatever. it's done and over with. i'm tired#anyways this also is a great lesson and example in how people really don't have patience for neurodivergent people so that's cute!#i don't expect it on this trash site though so none of this is surprising. just tiredly disappointing

Catherine: Full Body Controversy...According to Kori
Disclaimer: Catherine is one of the few ATLUS games I didn’t particularly care about during it’s time under the sun, so there might be some information I get wrong. That being said, spoilers abound.
I’m just gonna preface this by asking why the fuck does people still care about Laura Kate Dale? Asides from joining the likes of Liam Robinson of the “Completely Discredited Leakers” club, and TotalBiscuit and Jesse Cox of the “TRAPS ARE TRANSPHOBIC REEEEEEEEEEEEEE” club, LKD is just one of those people that really, really needs to have most of their opinions disregarded. They are the sort that shouts their first thought, no matter how controversial and  outright wrong it may be. And instead of just admitting it was a knee-jerk reaction, they will double-down on their opinions.
So onto Catherine and the new girl, I do think she’s probably pre-op trans, since Vincent tends to mirror the situations his buddies goes through, such as a fake pregnancy scare, date rape, and the whole Nightmare dimension that tries to kill him and his fellow men thanks to their commitment issues. I say mirror, cause one of the game’s side quests lets you hook up a post-op transexual with Vincent’s unknowing buddy, and I’m pretty sure ATULS finds it amusing enough to let the insomniac man child Vincent is to go through the same situation and see where they can go with it.
I ain’t got no problem with that. Neither should you, considering that if Rin is a trans woman (or even just a trap), she gets the full package regarding her 3rd girl status (err...pun not intended). Multiple endings most likely with Vincent hooking up with her or ditching his silly ass, risqué art, her own path, she is going to be one of the most catered to trans women in gaming, in a JAPANESE game with already a positive and nuanced depiction of a transexual. You should be applauding ATLUS, kissing the ground they waltz on. You are getting that oh-so-bittersweet representation y’all are claiming you want, but of course you harpies are never satisfied.
What I DO have a problem with is Catherine, a game about a love triangle that spirals out of control and threaten to ruin one man’s life --or even end it outright, now making a “love square”. Ever since Persona 4 Golden and the Etrian Odyssey Untold remakes, I have absolutely no hope in the quality of the writing of these new scenarios they always add in these rereleases. Fuck, terrible additional content goes all the way back to PERSONA 3 FES, with The Answer. And this is one of the most invasive additions yet! Catherine was already a tightly-knit narrative, a damn good one with that. It’s one of the few games I honestly think is legit “smart” and had me thinking about my own views of marriage, infidelity, and love, and I am FAR AWAY from those circumstances. Fuck, it ruins the twist that Vincent technically never cheated in the first place, especially if Rin is actually real (I expect if she isn’t trans, she will be an angel, possibly both considering how angels are depicted in some Biblical texts). She’s an unnecessarily addition, and it won’t help the writing or story.
I don’t think it will be a “bad” remake by normal stances. It adds online play, upscales the resolution, make it run beautifully now that it’s away from the jank mess of a system architecture that is the PS3/XBOX 360. Hell, there could even be some option that turns off the new content, as cowardly that would be. But it will be another game ATLUS fucked up for no reason other than “because they can”. Because they want your money. I’m just as tired of ATLUS doing this shit just as I am tired of the usual suspects getting up-in-arms and riling themselves and everyone else because they can’t put .02 cents in the critical thinking machine.
Stop letting ATLUS fuck up their great stories, stop being an irrational jackass that sniffs out the latest controversy for the hell of it, stop listening to motherfucking Laura Kate Dale, just stop.
Peace out, I’m going to go play BINGO.
