You seem to be into a lot of different forms of arts & crafts, and I was wondering where you would begin to learn about such hobbies. What places would you recommend to get resources from? Resources such as paints, fabrics, brushes etcetera or whatever you mainly use. I'm not sure what it's called, but that hawks panel you painted on glass or something similar—what paints would you typically use for that and where did you learn to start? I would try to find the post myself but mobile is funky.

honestly i youtube absolutely everything and most of the hobby arts and crafts ive gotten into ive learned solely through youtube. i think instagram and pinterest also have their place for inspo and little extra bits of info u wouldnt normally think of as for supplies, it really depends on what ur buying and what ur doing. but i honestly get most things from my local walmart, amazon, and craft stores. i think for most basic supplies those are good places to start, if ur wanting to get into something way more specialized tho i think places like etsy and indipendant shops are gonna be more useful tho for the glass paintings, i learned how to do them and what materials id need from youtube vids and some tiktoks, then i got the glass from the dollar store by just buying their really cheap picture frames and not using the frame. u need 2 types of paint for glass paintings, an oil based paint for the outline, i used sharpie oil based paint markers in the extra fine tip. i got mine at my local staples but lots of places like walmart and amazon sell them and then acrylic paints for the colors. u need this because otherwise the outline layer will get dissolved when u go to do the next layers. like dissolves like, so u want to use oil so it wont move once u apply the acrylic because acrylic is water based. for the paints i got those at walmart, its a good idea to use cheaper quality paint for glass paintings cause u need to use a lot of it and put it on in thick layers. those like 97 cent paints are honestly perfect for this. it's much more like frosting a cookie than painting a picture. as for brushes i got those at my local micheals because i wanted specific shapes and some ultra fine ones, so for specialty things like that i usually hit up a craft store

Please note that they do have cameras, and their SAs are trained to look out for shoplifters, however most of them are just confused college girls lol. Panties are NOT tagged. What I like to do is take a medium sized empty makeup bag and put it in my purse, and once I arrive to VS i put the makeup bag in the tote, I also drop my phone into the tote. I go around the store, picking out panties that are my size and i drop them so they can fall directly into the makeup bag. I do this with as many as I can fit into the bag and I do this with small makeup items as well. Once I'm done, I reach into the bag as if I'm looking for my phone (which i dropped in earlier) and that's the moment when i zip up the zipper of the makeup bag and pull out my phone immediately after and pretend to check the time and say something like "Damn, I gotta go. I'm late." Or something like that. Put the makeup bag in your purse and play around on your phone as you exit the store. BARNE'S AND NOBLES: I've never lifted from this place but I know friends who have. I'll give you the tips they gave me. There are cameras, and they are being monitored, but there are PLENTY of blind spots seeing as it is a very large store. The kid's section has no cameras tho, so if you're like me and look younger than you are, this could be for your advantage. No one expects you to steal when you're vibing in the kid's section. Most books have RFID tags, and hardcover books sometime have books engraved in the cover, so watch out for those. Most manga, some magazines, and just overall 99% of the books are tagged. Get what you want, flip through them and look for RFID tags while pretending to "read". If an employee sees you sitting down "reading" they won't suspect you unless they actually see you ripping out the tags. The worst that could happen is that they could ask you to move out of the book aisle so other customers can come through, if that happens, simply find another blind spot. Slip them into your bags like they're yours as SOON as you know they're rid of RFID tags. They won't chase, but probably will try to get you back into the store and if that doesn't work they'll try to get a license plate number or give your description to the police, neither usually goes anywhere tbh.

Ulta: The second store I've ever lifted from. This store is easy, but not laughably. I feel like this would be a starter for babylifters. This store has mild LP, so watch out for those and NEVER EVER EVER conceal in front of customers, you should never do this in general but especially NOT in an Ulta. Get to your blindspot and make sure to detag depending on what you plan on lifting. Those mfs at Ulta tag like crazy. Put everything in your bag and remember to NEVER get too greedy at this store. They have a STRICT, VERY VERY STRICT no chase policy.

WALMART: My walmart is so easy it hurts. Maybe about 5 cameras throughout the whole store to my knowledge, so the whole thing is basically a blind spot. The makeup aisle is heavily monitored tho so whenever I'm over there I make an effort to never look up to those cameras. Grab whatever you want/need and AVOID EMPLOYEES!!! they're everywhere. As well as customers. They are the two most annoying problems I've ever had lifting from a Walmart. I've noticed that aisles where you get things such as building materials are the most empty with no cameras. People usually only go to walmart because the food is cheap, so there are a lot of families who are usually only at one side of the store. Its rare that people ever need materials like those so seek out aisles like that to use as a blind spot. Wal-Mart doesn't seem to tag that many things, but ALWAYS check no matter what store you're at. If you're lifting something on the expensive side, just check for that.

If you're just looking for a snack, some makeup, or maybe a meal ? (Yes, you can get a whole meal if you lift enough stuff) then the dollar tree would be your place of interest. There are almost no employees walking around the store. There are usually only 2, and they switch between working at the registers and cleaning out the front of the store or whatever. Honestly this store is so easy just stuff shit in your bag lol. Even if you get caught they won't chase or call the police. Their stock is WAYY too cheap for that. I go there to steal candy or makeup brushes which is usually not worth paying for anyways so this is a beginner store. Knock yourself out ;)

for the MC game: my MC for your game is a short "girl" who wears a lot of oversized stuff in the early 2000s. when they come into modern day and see the discussions of things like being trans and nonbinary and the difference between gender identity vs gender presentation, they feel a lot more comfortable dressing femininely (still loves oversized tho, aint nothing wrong with that) while identifying as nonbinary. it results in a gradual confidence boost and, whereas their loved ones remember my MC as constantly cracking jokes but the sense of humor being very self-deprecating, their sense of humor evolves into being a lot less based on their self (after reading "yo that wont help your mental illness" online) and now they actually, finally, start laughing at their own jokes

they go from this "my resting face is a small smile and im awkward and shy" to being very giggly and still awkward but more outgoing (bc now a baby's got a sense of self-worth and doesnt mind taking up as much as space as they used to). one of those "i like being around you bc your laugh makes me smile and you laugh all the time" kinda people, yknow?? plus, very polite. ~Witchy Haul~

Some things I gott the other dayyy......I went overboard but I'm happy sooo I guess my Bill's can wait....>_<

Soooo before we startttt I am VERY new to the craft......also I live in a very Christian area so we dont have metaphysical shopssss. Everything I got is from Amazon, Walmart and/or Five Below. >_<

Tarot Cards!

This is the 'Moden Witch Tarot Deck' by Lisa Sterle. I was so excited for them to come inn. I really like that the images are so inclusive. It's a good starter deck, or a deck for teens. The cardstock is very stiff so it makes shuffling kinda hard but I can tell they're going to last a long tiimmeee. The one down side is that the cards are too big for me to hold in my had comfortably but if you like big cards or you have big hads then its wont be a problem...>_<

This is the 'Kawaii Tarot' deck by Diana Lopez. Its suppppeeerrr cutteee so pink I lovvveee itttt >_<. Its a BIG package with a big explanation book. The cards themselves are very small they fit right in my handdd. The images are sooo cute and very minimalistic. The color choice is also very calming. This would be the perfect beginner deck and a good deck to use for therapeutic reads. The only down fall is that the cards are separated into 2 cardboard boxes and they're hard to close and you have to separate that card to fit in both boxes (it takes a good 5 minutes to put them back each time). I wouldn't recommend this for beginners because it does have reversed card meaning, the meanings are in the book but o would recommend them to intermediate tarot readers.

Candles

It's a little boring but I bought some tea candles, votive candles and 1 gray tapered candle. I got the tea light as a recommendation because they burn out really quickly so they are good for quick spells and protection for readings and medications but I really dont like them. They have a tendency to spill everywhere, I'm TOO clumsy for them!! The votive candles are my fave cuz they are bigger they last little longer and (if you put them in the right candle holder) they dont spill overrrr!! I realize that I could put my tea candles ina. Candle holder, however, the metal holder would still be an issue for me cuz I would feel bad throwing them away but what would I be able to use them for??? Maybe offering dishes??? I got the gray taper because I needed a black candle but they literally didnt have ANY at any of the places I went TT so I'll be on the hunt. I dont even have a proper candle holder for tapers so I won't be able to light it anytime soon >_<

Crystals?

I got this pink Himalayan rock salt lamp and a crystal imitation incense holder. The lamp was only $5 and that why I got it but it's not what I expected. When I got it o didnt notice that it had been leaking so there was water damage on the box, which is fine because I'll just going to cross it but I should have paid more attention. The cord was also a USB which means I have to plug it into a computer or get my own cube which is a little sad. I use my phone charger's cube to make sure it turned on since it had water damage and it was all fine. It's a nice light not to bright but effective! The incense holder is not a real crystal (or at least I'm assuming because it was $4) either way is super pretty!!!

Books

Two books!!! I'm so excited I LOVE books... I haven't read them yet but I will soooooon. The first one is 'An Introduction to Crystal Grids' by Karen Frazie and the next is 'Healing Crystals' by Karen Ryan. I got the crystal grids on Amazon. I got it because I am going to help my friends spiritually cleans their houses. Also just because crystals are a topic I'm not too familiar with and I need some info (also I love books and spending my money TT). The next book I got at 5 below jsut because they had it and it was witchy >_<

Tonics

They're not really tonics bit I couldn't think of a good header.....Healing liquid was my next choice but it was kinda off putting.... I got Florida Water, Witch Hazel, cosmetic olive oil and rose oil a floral eye serum and floral perfume. The Florida Water is just to cleans things I buy at thrift store (like furniture) that is too big to cleanse with incense. It was actually my first time using Florida water, it was a surprising scent. I dont know what I exploit to smell like but it wasnt that..... I got the oils for many thingssss....firstly as part of my self care offerings for Aphrodite I've used it in ritual baths, in my hair, and on my facee. I want to use the olive oil to make annointed oil and to dress some deity candles I'm planning to make. The eye serum and roller perfume I got on a whim because they're pretty. If I dont like the scents they'll be used as offerings.

Incense

Okkkkkay almost donnneee...... I got new incense!!! I usually get them from 5 below but they didnt have any good ones today. So I got Strawberry, Lotus and Dragon Blood 40 packs from Walmart. Thw silver container is also incense also from Walmart and its frankincense. Finally I got a new flower incense holder......the incense had a good smell, I didnt particularly like the lotus but it was fine. My brother said the frankincense smelled like weed, then he said it smelled like ham??? I liked it just fine though. The flower is super pretty and I LOVE it. It just makes a mess that I have to clean. I'm going to start putting some paper down to cut down on the cleaning.....I ahye cleaning.

Miscellaneous

Last but not least I got Palo Santo, orange wax melts, and mini glass bottles. (Oof I put the witch Hazel in the tonic section TT). I got the Palo Santo at 5 below. I got it because it is what my ansc9used and what I would have been taught to use if my family practiced Brujería still, so I want to use it to teach the future generations of my family so we no longer have to hide in the shadows to practice. The wax melts are so test if I can replace them with candles. I'm sooo clumsy I am surprised I haven't started a fire yet so I need an alternative....the mini glass bottles were a gift from my mother. She needed them for a project but bought them to small. They're the perfect size for spells!!!

Lol after the ex best friend saw me in walmart yesterday (i ignored her and we didnt talk at all) she blocked me on everything so now i get to tell yall fully what happened. Now that she wont see it

So on sunday, she and her bf ,who moved in qith us after them dating for only a couple months, were in their room doing crafts as some sort of date. I had my appointment to get my snake bites but there was no lyft or uber drivers out so i texted her and asked if she could take me and drop me off. Or if it was going to be interrupting them, i could reschedule. She insisted on taking me and staying with me. My appointment was supposed to be at 5:30 but the people in front of us took forever so we finally got back their arpund 6:30. As im getting pierced, her bf texts me and says "dont do this again" then calls her and starts cussing her out and shit talking me. Well we get done and go home where they get into an argument while i sit in my room. The walls are so thin i can hear him shit talking me and convincing her im a horrible person for asking for a ride. Thats around 8...around the time i blacked out. Its like i was sitting on my bed listening to all this and i blink then suddenly im in that store trying to buy a gun. I opened my phone and saw the suicide note pulled up. When i realized what was happening, i left the store and sat out front hyperventilating and in a full on panic attack trying to get ahold of her because she was my best friend. I just needed to know that someone cared and i was making the right decision by not going through with it....she never answered me. I finally found a ride to the er where they had to gove me something to calm me down. They tried calling her bc she was my emergency contact bc i trusted her completely (i have an extremely hard time trusting people) but she never answered. So they asked me if id be ok with going to a mental hospital 3 hrs away. I realized i needed serious help so i agreed. When i got there, i finally got ahold of my mom who only got one frantic text from me before i got transferred. She had been trying to reach the ex bsf too to no avail. So i finally sleep and the next day call my mom again to updage her on stuff and ask if she was ever able to get ahold of her...thats when my mom (who is dealing with the fact that she just almost lost a second child to suicide) tells me that the ex bsf made my family come move all my stuff out of our apartment and had made up lies about me saying that i threatened suicide if she didnt talk to me and that i was buying a gun to hurt her and her bf. And that she mentioned getting a restraining order against me.

She also said that if i or anyone in my family tried contacting her shed call the cops. Once i was told this and realized that the one person i fully trusted amd cared about had abandoned me when i needed her the most....i had a full on mental breakdown. I was sitting on ny bed crying and hyperventilating, rocking back and forth. I was in such an intense panic attack that nurses had to come in and sedate me. I hit such a low that i contemplated killing myself when i finally got out because now, i had no friends...she promised shed be there for me no matter what but abandoned me when things got tough.

I slowly got better from that episode and the intense sadness turned into rage and hurt. Because i did nothing to deserve her treatment of me except be mentally ill and go get help. I helped her and her bf out so much. I bought most groceries and offered to pay for an apartment for her bf until he could get on his feet. I supported both of them through their own mental breakdowns. I supported their relationship even tho i was in love with her (was. Those feelings are long gone now) now i just feel like they used me. Like they took advantage of my kindness and only pretended tk care about me. And ditched me when i could no longer be of service to them.

So, Hope (an oronic name if you ask me), you are a shitty person who only really cares about yourself. If you see this, just know that if you ever try contacting me again, you will be the one with the cops called on you. Im done with you. You hurt me in ways i never thought you were capable. I will never forgive you for gaining my trust and betraying me in one of the qorst ways. I deserve so much fucking better than a bitch like you in ny life. I hope karma bites you in the ass.

Now i want to know your answer to this one if you please :D Cloverfield: If you were in the zombie apocalypse/alien invasion, would you hide, and if so, where would you hide? What group of people would you want with you through this?

Zombies: Ok so i consistently thought of this through hs and college. Now it just pops into my head every so often. While I don't ever feel like I want a gun of my own it just came up at dinner last night that a friend is gonna work to get their license here and I'm thinking of tagging along cause I dont wanna be in a situation where I dont know how to use it and also suck at aiming. So practice practice.

Also as for where to hide out. I currently live in the southern appalachias and I think mountains are totes the best place to be for zombies. I've also thought rhat while most people will be headed to walmarts or lowes and places like that I'm gonna skip those as they will probs have a high infection rate in the beginning. People be hidin wounds and shit. So no thanks to epicenter places. Even these buildings in rural areas are gonna be a no for me. I do think I'd hit up any smaller medical pharmacy and such if others had already broken in to begin looting--tho with this recent year's experience the panic buying of pains meds and stuff may deplete those rather quickly, outside of the like stronger stuff in the back you'd need prescriptions for. Which would be my main objective in a looting situation! First my own depression meds and shit cause i dont want to deal with that on top of the apocalypse. And then higher dose pain meds for when I now doubt have to amputate someone's limbs who has an extremity bite. But also like common first aid stuff in bulk. Cause the goal is to hole up somewhere far away from populations.

Also there is an army surplus store around here so I'd have a friend go with me if we had early stage warnings and stock up on MREs. Dried beans, rice and other non parishables. Oh! And water pruification tablets/drops. I have a life straw but not passin that around.

as for shelter I was thinking that most public land agencies (of which I work for one and wouldnt have thought of this otherwise) but they generally have multiple maintenance yards/compounds that are generally completely fenced in with sliding gate systems that work with a code, which hopefully could be modified to be done by human effort to conserve energy resources. There are also a number of places that have solar panels on buildings here so tracking those down to being to whichever maint. yard my crew chooses. Probs would be stickin with coworkers and callin close friends to invite them here. Then it'd be a matter of building up the integrity of the fence structure, adding in barriers to keep things further from the chainlink, ala the way Negan's camp is in the walking dead?? where they even employed zombie wardens out front to cut down on humans trying to infiltrate.

There is also my thought that I may consider moving north where snowfall and ice are more prevalent. It'd be fuckin miserable to live theough the winters. But on the off chance zombies existed even though I feel like rotting corpses couldn't maintain the musculature control to remain upright for long--plus without pain sensations they're more likely to overexert their muscles and stuff which leads to tears in muscles or tendons which would lead to lower mobility I could assume. Since pain keeps us from breaking ourselves by not exerting to our fullest capabilities. Anywho, regardless of all that. Heavy snowfalls and freezing temps should render them almost inert in the harsh northern winters. Making them easier for human hunting parties up for the task, to decimate their populations around the area.

Though the thaw in summer would probs be awful with the smell, while our mighty decomposers do their job! not to mention these wonderful animals, insects included, who have larvae that thrive on eating rotting meat? those guys will be active during the warmer times and help more quickly decompose the zombies. Yay nature havin our ill-adapted/evolved humans!!

So then it's a matter of waiting out things. I may even draft up a email with my plan to be able to mass send through our agency servers so others could hopefully mimic in their areas so that we could have multiple holdouts of humans to be able to have an better mix of human genetic diversity once we wait out the zombie decomposition and need to repopulate.

Also, another thought. I'm sure many Indigenous people, especially those unfortunately forced on reservations, will be amazing strongholds. Cause when they shut their borders they SHUT their borders lol From experience with the tribe next to my park and their protocols for the early pandemic. So potentially calling in friends and contacts to set up alliances eventually.

I think that's all the main important bits. I wont drone on with plans for accepting those in need into the compound and such. Cause while i'll definitely be using my voice to speak up for that, if it works out that a bunch of coworkers from my park are within the compound with me those decisions will probably run through the incident command protocols and hierarchies already set up within the national park structure. I'd just try to implement myself within those teams that are making decisions cause I feel I'd have thw most useful plans, obviously. 😌 lol

Ok so aliens i havent thought about as extensively. I'd probs try to communicate I'm not a threat and hope they arent the type to want to subjugate humans. If so I mean my fantasy brain is like-- are they attractive aliens to me?? cause 👀👀👀 If not and they're the subjugating kind I'd probs off myself I guess?? Like I don't want to be forced into perpetual servitude and hiding out to try and survive without being captured seems miserable sooo yeah.

one time on the radio i remember hearing that walmart will pay for collage, but in another way like how the military will pay for it, appearently its like them paying you doulbe the amount, you have to work for the amount it costed them for you to go to collage, but you also get payed, you appearently also get benifits. im gonna call their bluff tho, im calling it that they make you sign a contract for it, and that contract is like, “if you take a break at anytime during your shift for any reason you dont get payed for that day, if you take a sick day you dont get payed, if you get injured at work we are not responsible, if you are killed at work we are not responsible, if you get killed at work we are entitled to your ensurance money, if you get a crimial record you wont get payed at any point, you have to work atleast 8 hours a day each day every day, if you are sick at work we will not pay you, if you are late for work we will not pay you, you get one lunch break at 11pm once every bussiness week, if you have to take care of a child, they have to be at work with you, and working, the child will not get payed anything, all benifits are void if you get injured, hurt, killed or damage proportie of any kind, if you are disabled your benifits are void, if you have a mental disability your benifits are void, you may never use the company credit card, if you get caught doing anything illegal your benifits are void, if you are not meeting costumer statifaction your benifits and check are void”
