Recently i've been thinking about creating a blog more personal to me, tho i'd only use it when using the computer, for some reasons. Then i'd feel comfortable not being on anon all the time hahahha (im shy and anxious all the time </3) what do ya think? I’VE BEEN WANTING TO RESPOND TO THIS ONE FOR SO LONG. FOR SO MANY REASONS? For starters baby Dazai and caregiver Odasaku is one of my favorites. They’re one of the few cases I actually view as a solid parental bond rather than the caregiver just being a vague role. Plus you should absolutely make a personal blog! Cause that means I can support you and interact with you more! Plus we always need more BSD agere content. Also an ask not in anon mode must’ve been so scary… Hopefully nothing bad came from it? (That’s also another reason supporting personal blog :^)

Little Dazai + Caregiver Odasaku

₊ ⊹ These two have known each other since Dazai was 14, Odasaku has seen first hand that Dazai was forced to grow up way too fast. And well. He’s always had a soft spot for kids. Dazai is no different. Dazai regresses to 2-5, which is just a bit younger than the orphans Odasaku takes care of! I don’t remember exactly what age he took the orphans in at but surely he dealt with them when they were at least somewhat in that age range, so he’d got experience! With Dazai’s age range specifically! This makes him even better at taking care of Dazai!

₊ ⊹ Odasaku is a writer! You know what that means? All the bedtime stories ever! He writes his own bedtime stories to read to Dazai, he’ll turn Dazai’s babbling tales into a story, Dazai can even help him write! A lot of the time Dazai just wants to hear his caregivers voice, he doesn’t care what’s being said, so Odasaku will just talk about some writing ideas he’s had! Dazai is happy to supply his ideas! Odasaku tones them down a bit of course, and doesn’t always use them (Cats with laser eyes don’t really fit into a story about pirates… But maybe a pirate ship can have a cat aboard)

₊ ⊹ I think Odasaku has tried before to let Dazai play with his orphans, he thought it would be a good idea! But… Dazai gets overwhelmed really easily, especially while he’s regressed. Not to mention jealousy and all those other yucky emotions! Odasaku is his. Just his. Plus what if these kids think he’s weird? They wouldn’t of course, Odasaku didn’t raise them to be judgmental. But still… And he’ll lash out with bites or hitting if he gets to overwhelmed! Needless to say that’s a play date that only happens once

₊ ⊹ Lashing out is a common thing with Dazai. Most babies have the instinctive reaction to cry when things go wrong, Dazai learned very young that crying doesn’t help you. Fighting does. He feels bad after of course! He never wants to hurt Odasaku! But Odasaku reassures him that it’s ok! He never uses a harsh tone, always just gently reminds Dazai “We don’t hurt” If Dazai is so overwhelmed he won’t listen to reason though a swaddle is the solution! Wrap him up nice and tight in a blanket so he can’t move much, a pacifier in his mouth so he can’t bite or scream, then they stay like that until Dazai wears himself out! He never got a chance to show his true emotions. So if a tantrum is how he chooses to express those emotions of course Odasaku allows him to get it all out

₊ ⊹ Nicknames!! Odasaku uses the sweetest pet names for his baby, and everything sounds so poetic when he says it! “Sweetheart” is definitely a big one, but he can’t be to sweet with pet names or Dazai gets defensive, so he’ll also use more casual ones like “Buddy”! There’s also “Little One” but that has to be used carefully! Only when Dazai is right on the edge of regressing, usually when he’s a little worn out and less likely to fight it. And then of course! What does Dazai call Odasaku? I view them as a father son relationship because. Even regression aside I view them that way. Regression just makes it feel even cozier. So I think Dazai calls him “Da”. He’s trying to say “Oda” But to many syllables… Odasaku points out that it sounds like “Dada” and Dazai denies it if course! But… That’s his “Da” he stops even trying to say “Oda”

₊ ⊹ I think that when Dazai’s in more of a toddler headspace they play a lot of card games! It’s very nostalgic for them considering they played a lot of card games when they first met. Like a lot a lot. It was how they bonded! Of course Dazai always calls Odasaku out on cheating, in response Odasaku calls out Dazai’s clumsy attempts at hiding cards up his sleeve. Dazai of course denies this, and Odasaku denies his own cheating. This usually leads to Dazai pouting, but nothing on tantrum level! Just upset he isn’t getting his way. Odasaku tried betting with candy before but the Dazai takes it to serious and it does ends in a tantrum

₊ ⊹ Dazai is weird with food, he’s noted to be underweight, especially in Mafia Era (The only time Odasaku was alive) Baby Dazai only drinks milk or formula. No solid foods. He’s a baby through and through. However toddler Dazai plays a silly game with Odasaku! He requests specific ways for all his food to be poisoned and Odasaku says he does it! For example if Dazai requests a poisonous flower, Odasaku takes a harmless flower and puts it in the dish in front of Dazai! Odasaku has to make his own food separate though to keep up the illusion. Dazai refuses to let Odasaku eat the ‘poisoned’ food

Hi Carina!! I am a recent follower, though I know I most probably have come across your writing before. But your new beastzai series really drew me in. I just wanted to say I really admire your ability to make such intricate backstories for the reader, it really makes them feel like they are a part of the bsd world which is incredible! Imo this is so so deeply needed to write characters like Dazai because any relationship with Dazai (if they were to successfully capture his heart) would require enormous emotional build-up and history. So yeah, as a dazai x reader writer myself (though I really do not write as much now) I really admire you for it (especially when that is not my strength in terms of writing) 🥹 Just, it's lovely to know that there are writers that will put the time to do this for a wonderful character like Dazai

End Of The Year

Well, the year is almost over. It was a wild year. There was such a mess of good and bad... but I'm pretty happy. I'm ending the year on a happy note.

So I decided on trying a little something. A recap? A summary? No idea, really-

Honestly back in spring life was... a mess. My old community was hell ever since some stuff happened 2023, and I was basically stressed daily because of a toxic friendship.

I joined Tumblr in January, I believe, but didn't really use it. Didn't know how, didn't know with what. It was a spur-of-the-moment thing because a commenter on my Wayward Star AU asked.

So I made a couple posts, barely used it. Just stalked. And then I got so, so lucky. Because I stumbled over @casinoownersigma's blog. Hi Kiji, bet you didn't expect this! You were the first rp blog I ever met, and while I only interacted via anons back then I think if it hadn't been for that, I would've never made an rp blog.

Believe it or not, my first one was a Nikolai. No one knew it existed, it was never really used except for posting some bird puns. And then @/justsigma-bsd happened and... well, y'all know the rest?

I was so scared of interacting with people. My old community was still kinda a thing, but due to how the community and plattform was changing, I slowly migrated over and started basically doing rp only here in the bsd community.

@panthera-tigristigris and @fukuzawa-armeddaddyagency were the first blogs I've ever properly interacted with. I still remember around half of the stuff from March and... I'm just really, really glad about it all.

Around April shit went down with my then-closest friend. We used to write daily, and she's who got me into rp originally back in 2019. Yea, this has been my hobby THAT long.

And honestly? I'm glad. Because "innocent jokes and teasing" was, in hindsight, just making fun of me for liking the stuff I like and being toxic. Asking for help/advice was just using me because in the end I got told I never did anything for her.

So yea, I'm glad the friendship ended, because I was the last to realize how toxic it was.

Spring was also the time when I realized "I'm failing this school" and, well, I did. I failed the school I went to and my parents and I argued for ages.

But it's fine. I'm still not completely sure where my life is going, but it's fine. Because I'm finding my way, somehow, I'm sure.

And over the course of the summer I met more and more rp blogs. I met awesome mods, like @aredeemantagonist, @star-tb, @paintedgrilledcheese, @myluckymoon, @currentlyeatingrocks and so, so many more.

And I love all of you guys. I don't know where I would be without y'all. Probably not on Tumblr, crying over a bunch of rp blogs being angsty, or silly, or just... them. I wouldn't have some of the oc I do. I wouldn't have had the fun I had.

ummmm where do i start?? ig i can yap abt how Yashima as a character connects to the namesake of their ability, Crow Boy. Crow Boy is a children's picture book written by Atsushi Iwamatsu, more known by his pen name, Taro Yashima.

On the first page, we are told that on the first day of school, a missing boy was found under the schoolhouse floor. Nobody knew or recognized the kid, so they gave him a nickname. Chibi, because 'he was very small', as the book says.

As I described in Yashima's intro post, Mori found them hiding after their small group was massacred, I imagine he found them in a similar fashion. Also, Yashima suffered from malnourishment in his most developing years, which made him shorter than most of the cast (not chuuya lmao). It's not set in stone but they're anywhere from 5'4 to 5'6.

The next few pages describe that the boy was afraid of everyone, so he did not interact with others and was left alone at all times and found other, more mundane things to entertain himself. Yashima was in a similar situation when first joining the PM.

For these reasons, many kids picked on Chibi, both younger and older. Calling him names like 'stupid' and 'slowpoke'. In the PM and possibly in their hometown they were teased for their size or that they don't have a decent education.

But, this is only if I decide to add it bc at this moment it's just an idea, namely Dazai since Yashima was his subordinate. And all know how Dazai treated Akutagawa during training, so it would go beyond a few mean words. However, I am hesitant about adding this to Yashima's backstory because I don't know if other rp-ers would go with it. Like, if other Dazais would treat Yashima like that trauma happened.

Then, in the story, we get a time skip five years later to sixth grade, the last grade of their school, with the sentence '...slowpokes or not, day after day Chibi came trudging to school.' The sixth-grade class was taught by a man named Mr. Isobe.

Mr. Isobe is described as 'a friendly man with a kind smile.' The next pages discuss how impressed Mr. Isobe was with Chibi and generally how this teacher had taken a liking to the lonely boy.

This Mr. Isobe figure in Yashima's life was maybe a person in their old group or a kind PM member, but more likely the old group itself represented this one kind man. Since Yashima was so young (eleven to fourteen) it proved the 'it takes a village to raise a baby' saying true.

Everyone is shocked to see that Chibi is on the stage for that year's school talent show, supposedly about to mimic the voices of crows. And then he does, the entire life cycle of crows and how different emotions affect the bird's cries.

This ties into Yashima's ability. In which he can communicate with crows by mimicking their caws, this is also how they summon crows within a 100-mile radius to their side.

In the book, everyone attending is impressed and goes as far as to start crying. Not because of the crow impression, but because of the story it told and the reminder that in all of those six long years, even while being bullied, Chibi hadn't missed a single day of class.

This is where Yashima differs from Chibi.

Yashima never received this level of praise, the closest being in that group of theirs back on the streets. Which is what their chasing. The praise, the feeling of belonging that Chibi (kind of) achieved in the end.

The story ends with the boy's life after sixth grade. He would occasionally come to the village to sell things, but no longer was he nicknamed Chibi. Instead, he was titled 'Crow Boy', a name he seemed to wear with the faintest sense of pride.

Being so fr and an update

Hi, so I know I haven’t been online like AT ALL recently like a very long hiatus and both before and after i’ve still been very quiet and honestly I find I just dislike rping as this character. I don’t know why, he just causes such burnout to play as compared to everyone else I rp as. I love all of the mods I rp with and I am really sorry to say this because I rp with a lot of them but I don’t add much to the conversation anymore due to my inactivity and personal lack of interest for the character anymore. I will leave this account up for a little longer, maybe til the end of march or so so I have time to make up my mind. I just would like to spend my time on characters who I feel I am both better at and enjoy more than this one. My personal life is fine. I am simply too busy and noticeably, even on my other accounts I have slowed as well. This is not the only one of my rp blogs going down. Yosano was deleted last month due to not my own disinterest but just once again inactivity. I am honestly so sorry to the mods who I rp with and stuff but I want yall to have your fun rping with others who are actually engaged in playing the BSD fyodor’s character. I really hope this comes across not to make anyone angry and i’m sorry and understand if it does.

How it started:

I started writing when I was 10, One direction had just debuted and I was in love. They’re how I discovered fanfiction. I never actually wrote for them myself, seeing no shortage of content for members x reader, or members x members, so I looked elsewhere. I started to get into Viners, YouTubers, and Magcon boys and I started writing for them instead. People loved it, I made au gif sets, and I honestly loved the interactions with the fics and between I and my readers. I would write day and night, hurting my shoulders, changing positions, at school thinking of writing, scribbling ideas down here and there. I abandoned that blog for another and that for another and that one to stop writing all together. All my blogs are still up and running, I’d take Teen Wolf requests on one, SKZ on another but I want THIS blog to be a truly multi-fandom blog. I tried to categorize everything, anime into one, kpop into another, I want access to everything all in one. So bear with me! I’m working to get it together! Q&A (where I answer your questions :D)

Q: What inspired you to join the bsd rp community?

A: Well, it's actually a funny story. I originally came her on Tumblr to look at Ivan Goncharov fan art, and I stumbled across an Ivan rp blog. I wanted to mess around and interact with them, though at the time, I was shy. I was being silly on my main before finding the Fukuzawa rp blog and wanted to interact as well. So I created Levi one day, and it went from there. I was having fun just messing around as silly anime OCs.

Q: What inspired you to make Nimone?

A: So when I created Levi and gave him his backstory, it involved this big 9 year war somewhat outside of Japan. I didn't want to use a real content or place, so I made one up!

Q: Who's your favorite oc that you have and why?

A: This one is a tough one since I keep changing who's my favorite. But I have a top three. On top is probably Felix III. He's such a try hard and silly. I love playing as him, and he's one of my favorites to draw. Not to mention all the running jokes I got for him as well such as the Raiden Shogun reference or kicking him down the stairs.

My second favorite is probably Cooper. Everyone about his characters developing is just so satisfactory to me and he's just a sweet little guy :3. Who also has a gun.

My third would be Fiona Delgado, because I like playing as an angry Hispanic accountant who will throw laptops at people or turn into a big dragon because she can.

Q: So you have a favorite ship for you OCs?

A: Oh this one is hard (probably because I'm a hopeless romantic). I really like the cute fluffy ones like Levi x Sayaka (not my oc) and Black X Arthur (not my oc) but then there are the funny ones like Felix III x X (my oc but got another mod playing as him). Though my favorite ship is probably Fiona Delgado x Ace. These two argue like a bitter married couple and it's hilarious. It's my brain rot and I love them.

Q: Milk chocolate or Dark chocolate?

A: DARK CHOCOLATE ALL THE WAY!

Q: What inspired you to make xy and all of your members in it?

A: Honestly, the creation of XY was all for Cooper's backstory. At first, it was just an unnamed criminal organization that I was going to solo as for rps, but someone offered to play as one of the characters, and I was excited. They named it (fun fact, it was actually called XV, but due to miss reading, we called it XY) and I decided that hey maybe this Mafia needs some members other than "unnamed henchmen" so I created a few members and I never thought it would actually get this far which is cool. Its entire creation was almost all unplanned.

Q: What is your process for coming up with OCs?

A: Well, it depends on the circumstance, but most of the time, I always start with the design. I'm more artistic visually, so when I make a design that I'm happy with then I build off of what I want for the character. After the design, I normally give them either their name and personality, and their ability last. Basically, adding anything that would make the character interesting or fit them.
