oh to be possessive over a boy in a sweet way. having matching bracelets, giving him hickeys, accidentally leaving my sweaters and hoodies at his house, kissing him in public every time someone seems a little too flirty or stares for too long, pulling him into me and whispering in his ear just to remind him he’s mine <3

okay hi so listen hear me out
sea snake is a bit too obvious (and too boring)
so i made him based on some kind of lionfish??? (bc something something venomous marine animal) also with a LOT of creative liberties i made with how the fish looks like
let’s also give his fins some rips and tears here and there bc what are the implications of that??? that’s for you 🫵 to decide
anyways chat i lowkey dont know what i was doing
i had no other thoughts but haha funny snake man i turn into fish

thinking about the first kiss with your fave…
the air is heavy—oppressive, even—with tension. you’re facing one another, curled up uncomfortably on a too-small couch, a movie on the tv that you stopped paying attention to as soon as it started.
you’re talking about something meaningless, yet you can’t stop the laughter that bubbles past your lips and warms his flesh. but when the chatter stops, you gaze at one another. there’s a thrill that skitters down your spine; you can’t describe how happy simply being with him makes you feel. but you want more. am i being greedy? you wonder. perhaps you are.
but he’s greedy, too.
the moment is suspended in time: he’s so close you can see every faint freckle dotting his face, see the sweeping fan of his eyelashes, see the laughter lines that crease near his mouth. and now, you’re looking at his lips; you lick yours in anticipation. your gaze flits back up to his, and he takes a breath before whispering, “can i—”
you nod before he can even get the words out, and you worry for a moment that you come across as overly eager—until he smiles something beautiful. he presses his thumb and forefinger to your chin, your lips finally brushing against his for the first time.
it’s soft and gentle—maybe the slightest bit hesitant (you’re both thrumming with excitement). it’s a prelude; not nearly enough to whet your appetite. but it’s a promise of something more. something great, you’re sure.

sometimes you just gotta feel that ache for a fictional man you’ll never touch in order to feel alive

I think I really need someone to touch me. Not in a sexual way or anything, just in the way where I really badly need a hug or just for someone to touch me in a way that feels intentional and like.. loving, in any sense of the word. Not like they have to or like we’re trying to accomplish something. And not like it’s an accident or an afterthought. I want someone to hug me or hold my neck or hold my hand or put their hand on my leg or put their arm around my waist or just something that’s not accidental or in passing

unzip my dress- but not in a sexual way- just so we can put on our pjs after a long day
take showers with me- but not in a sexual way- just so we can laugh about the lack of space and wash each others hair
hold me by the waist- but not in a sexual way- just because your hands fit so comfortably there

just thinking about how when Percy and Annabeth fell into to Tartarus, Rick decided to make Nico, of all people, be the one to make the promise to Percy that he would bring the crew to Epirus and save them. Not Jason, who was probably the second leader in command and who they both trusted deeply already, not Leo, the steerer of the ship, not Hazel, who also would’ve fit well into the context, but Nico. The one they called untrustworthy only a hundred pages prior, the one that neither percy nor annabeth defended when the crew doubted his motives.
Nico, who made Percy promise a similar thing, to save them, to save his sister, years earlier. Percy failed that promise, and it cost them both a great debt. And then, Percy dared to return that debt, to fix Nico (Nico, who’s previously sacrificed so much for Percy’s sake without Percy even knowing) with a pleading look as the other person he’s had the most history with on the ship, to give him the same burden that Nico gave him all those years ago. and in that moment, I think their relationship transcends resentment, or distrust, or friendship. It becomes something else entirely. That could probably be one of the biggest moments of Percy’s fatal flaw- his unconditional trust, even though the subtext of these two being unable to make promises to each other haunts the narrative so well. And Nico must move past that years-old grudge to accept that trust.
It’s like asking the question, what would you do for someone you love? And Nico is always, has always been right there to answer it.

cockwarming on top of her strap while she makes me go into heavy detail over all my hyperfixations and I try not to whimper and beg
“so they split apart over difference of opinions in- mmm aaahhhh god- in how to reach ascendancy and one created an order of hunters that - god it’s so deep right now fuck - they consumed the blood of old ones which was thing that would slowly turn them into monsters and become the things they hunted until there was a major blight. please can I move now?!!”
