just… petting a sleepy tighnari’s head when he just woke up in the morning. he’s yet to properly open his eyes as he does a big stretch™, then just turns to snuggle up closer to you again if that’s even possible

gently combing through his dark hair before lightly scratching the base of his fluffy ears. before he can even realise it, tighnari is craning his head in different directions to get you to scratch different parts as his tail drapes over your legs, a blissful exhale the only thing being heard.

it’s only when you can’t stop the giggles from bubbling over that he fully comes to, ears perking up in alert. little do you know, he’s already planning his revenge for catching him off guard as you boop his nose. but he’s quick to get you back by mercilessly attacking your sides until you’re gasping for air between laughter, begging him to stop tickling you.

Imagine taking a bath with Kyle.

Kyle likes really bubbly baths. Why? Because I said so.

You start off on opposite ends. You guys just want to chill and there’s candles and the pleasant Japanese blossom scent in the air.

Him being him, he starts kicking. Lightly but just annoying enough that you kick back. Footsies.

Water is splashing everywhere. Bubbles are popping. It’s pure chaos at this point.

You kick a little too hard but he catches your foot and pulls you.

INTO THE WATER.

but only briefly.

He pulls you by your arm to his side of the bath. He tries to set you next to him but both of you have FAT asses. You end up in his lap.

Both of you are covered in soap and bubbles like children.

Maybe he threatens to push you down into the water.

there are a lot of evil people in the world and a lot of darkness in the world and so it’s very important for me to stress that now more than ever is the time to spread kindness and compassion. combat the evil by not only not partaking in it, but actively refuting it. destroy the notion that being compassionate or generous or kind to someone is uncool or embarrassing or even scary. be the change you want to see. start a chain reaction. positivity only breeds more positivity. do an act of kindness for someone so that that person who is too afraid to do it themselves can see you, realize that they’re not alone, and perhaps sheepishly follow your example. and then the next person who is too afraid but sees that person can do the same. when bad news comes out about bad people or horrible atrocities in the world it’s such an easy impulse to despair, and obviously it’s important to feel what you need to feel. grieve. be angry. be sorrowful. be empathetic. but dust off your pants and get up and be a part of a chain reaction that, no matter how small the scale, and spread compassion and love and care. all the reasons why you might not—“it’s hard! it’s scary! people will make fun of me! it’s useless because there’s too much evil!” are all grade A arguments as to why you should. you have no idea how many people you could inspire to do the same. even if it doesn’t get you anyway far, you can at least say you have the nobility of trying. please choose love and please choose life. you are worth loving and you are worth inspiring others to love

Just a chart about what I wanna change up and keep consistent in my art - I mainly wanna draw Raph with a tail because he deserves one, it fits too well. Donnie gets a long tail too because I didn’t realize how dino-like he looks until I gave him one, and now it’s a must for me haha.

okay sorry to be That Person but i’ve seen this in a couple of places and it’s been bothering me. guys babs didn’t smoke. no way in HELL did naberius tern ever touch a cigarette i mean look at him. you want to talk about someone who needs everyone to know that his body is a temple. IANTHE smokes because she saw augustine do it and thought it looked cool and everything for ianthe is forever and always about the aesthetic. the reason pal brought it up in his argument is that he’s been in ianthe’s mind and has thus absorbed the knowledge of how to smoke from IANTHE. which he then uses to be like “see, when souls overlap they will always bleed into each other.” he’s not saying that he learned how to smoke from babs. or even that ianthe learned how to smoke from babs! babs never touched a cigarette in his life. he was too concerned about “work[ing] his little butt off” (thanks ianthe for that phrasing I’m never going to stop thinking about it) to attain physical perfection so that he could win shiny trophies in every dueling competition the nine houses had to offer. i mean. come ON. it’s BABS

Jamie spending so much time with Roy and visibly being so close to Roy that even Roy’s little niece takes note and ensures he’s invited to their Uncle’s Day celebration as Uncle Roy’s best friend, YET Jamie still being surprised, flattered and excited several episodes later when Roy does something as simple as invite him out for a beer, because that’s clearly something that’s unprecedented—the first opportunity to hang out as friends without any guise of it being for football—is just soooooo!! The implications are so silly. Roy definitely spent the entire season framing every interaction he had with Jamie around “work” and “training” even when he really just needed to be around someone (well, specifically around Jamie) because his ass couldn’t just admit he likes having Jamie around. We know from the show he showed up at least once in the evening for “once more before dinner” (Roy…it was literally dark outside and you’d already had Jamie running around twice that day. be forreal)

…so anyway! Roy bringing dinner over to Jamie’s 4 nights a week and it’s really because he doesn’t want to eat alone and having his meals with Jamie is just better, but he still disguises it every time as “well I obviously need to make sure your nutrition is sound and you are eating enough and the right things this is a very important part of your training. I am doing you a crucial service.” Roy bringing Jamie along with him when he watches Phoebe because Phoebe and Jamie adore each other, but Roy “makes” him show her some footie tricks in his back garden and claims it’s because “being able to explain it to someone else is how you become a leader on the team this is very important” or else has him haul phoebes around on his back or whatever as “strength training” to make himself feel better about just wanting Jamie to be there to hang out. Roy following Jamie back home after matches because he needs to “assess his post-match routine and make sure he’s not overdoing it,” but really it’s just them plopped on Jamie’s couch watching bad reality tv and judging it together. And then *obviously* he might as well stay over, so that he can also observe and give Jamie his helpful advice on a morning wake up and stretch routine. Totally necessary!

And look, part of Jamie understands what’s really happening here and at least sort of knows Roy really does like spending time with him outside of just work and training (hence all his best friend teasing on Uncle’s Day), but Jamie is also a bit of an idiot (affectionate) who in equal measure sort of believes he’s just deluding himself and that all of this really has been an elaborate and effective training scheme from Coach Roy.™️ They perplex and bewitch me. s
