Also picturing Katelyn hearing about Aaron’s relationship with Aaron and initially thinking Oh Yeah All Siblings Are The Worst, I Totally Get It. Like viewing this and perceiving it under the lens of her own lived experience and filtering it through that a bit, which is something I think we all admittedly do even without realizing it. So she thinks Aaron might be embellishing or interpreting things a certain way, like, It Can’t Be That Bad. Then time goes on and they get closer and she gets more invested in their relationship and before she knows it she’s in deep, she’s committed, and she has realized Oh Shit This Is Not A Normal Sibling Relationship And I Am Not Equipped To Deal With This.
