I love it when libs pearl clutch about increasing taxes on the rich. Like oh no poor baby might have to pay his fair share so people can have health care. Like if you hate poor people and want to brown nose billionaires just say that. I'm built different, I personally would rather put a hundred billionaires against the wall than let a single child anywhere on earth die of starvation, if you disagree we can have a debate about that, but we have to talk about it in honest terms, we can't just act like letting the rich off the hook has no consequences and you aren't letting that child starve.

Imperialism is a mode of capitalist extraction that emerged out of colonialism, it is capitalist in nature. This isn't the class reductionism you're accusing me of, its a standard marxist understanding of imperialism. If you have a different definition of it (as you seem to have of a few things after a closer look at your blog) I'd love to hear it, but as it stands I'm not sure exactly how you come to the conclusion that imperialism is a system that is distinct from capitalism
Imperialism existed before (modern) capitalism and existed as a concept before Lenin and Marx wrote about it oh my lord. The desire to colonize other lands and extract their resources for monetary profit isn't a capitalist invention, despite it being a main function of capitalism.
It's ahistorical - and yes, actually, extremely class reductionist - of you to perpetuate the idea that imperialism is a capitalist invention. They are two distinct concepts that overlap and intersect but they're not that conjoined by cause and effect.
I'm also, personally, absolutely not a Marxist and never will be so I don't particularly care about adhering to Marxist definitions of words.

Odds are, you won't live to see tomorrow
Kit Pike is a golden boy FBI agent recently recruited to Delta Green, tasked with investigating the occurrences around Point Pleasant, West Virginia in November of 1966. He has a strict jogging schedule, an ankle gun, a repressed interest in musical theatre, and he's willing to die horribly in the defense of the local makeout point. For the good of America.

idc how many products beauty bloggers use but I'm begging them to stop calling the result "natural"
like if you need 8 hair products to make it look like that, you didn't "bring out your hair's natural texture". you styled it. after 3 styling products that's a style. calling that revealing your "real" hair just furthers the idea that this overconsumption of beauty products is somehow an innate and necessary part of the human existence. if you enjoy using 8 different hair products every wash that's one thing, but you didn't unlock how it "really" looks. that's like saying "put on this shapewear to reveal your body's natural shape".
I know beauty bloggers are as much a victim of the predatory beauty industry as their average follower and I can't ascibe malice to every individual blogger trying to make some money, but they are in a position of continuing this cycle of violence and their actions do contribute to the continued success of this nightmare that is the beauty industry.

AU where zé is a smooth criminal, panchito is a naive and lawful good detective with a good heart and a set of morals that he believes could never be corrupted or changed... that is until he's assigned to capture zé and things start changing (in the end panchito joins zé at the other side cause y'know acab) (donald is there somewhere doing god knows what in that story but maybe he's there idk i ran out of ideas) (can't believe i thought of all this for these two silly little birds)
Anon, did you know? Did you know you just sent me a Valvert prompt disguised as Disney birds? I literally screamed. Anyways, I got carried away so I hope you don't mind but I did a little more build up based on your idea. (Also the translations of the non-English dialogues are in the image descriptions).

So Zé is a criminal whose whole thing is not keeping the money. Most of it he gives to poor people who he knows are in debt, so they can sort themselves out and live better lives. His favorite target for thievering being any of Rocha Vaz's innumerous business (that for this AU's sake are responsible for dehousing a lot of people, mass firings and a bunch of other shady incidents). Panchito and Donald are two investigators (officers?) hired to go after Zé, but after a particularly unsuccessful and humiliating ambush, Panchito becomes obssessed with taking José down.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rosinha, after coming to terms with the fact that her father and his associates have no intention of addressing their companies' misconducts, decides to take matters into her own hands and partners up with Zé. This way they start their (mostly platonic) life of crime together.
Tumblr media
Panchito and Zé go over years and years of chase, which you know, forms some kind of unusual bond. At some point José saves Panchito's life, risking his own freedom in the process. Panchito, in return, let's him go, defying everything he's ever believed to be true and right. Lots of angst, lots of existential crisis and at some point, they do come around to admitting that they care for each other, and maybe even something more.

That's it! Hope you liked it!!

CONSERVATIVE, OR BOURGEOIS, SOCIALISM A part of the bourgeoisie is desirous of redressing social grievances, in order to secure the continued existence of bourgeois society. To this section belong economists, philanthropists, humanitarians, improvers of the condition of the working class, organisers of charity, members of societies for the prevention of cruelty to animals, temperance fanatics, hole-and-corner reformers of every imaginable kind. ... The Socialistic bourgeois want all the advantages of modern social conditions without the struggles and dangers necessarily resulting therefrom. They desire the existing state of society minus its revolutionary and disintegrating elements. They wish for a bourgeoisie without a proletariat. The bourgeoisie naturally conceives the world in which it is supreme to be the best; and bourgeois Socialism develops this comfortable conception into various more or less complete systems. In requiring the proletariat to carry out such a system, and thereby to march straightway into the social New Jerusalem, it but requires in reality, that the proletariat should remain within the bounds of existing society, but should cast away all its hateful ideas concerning the bourgeoisie. A second and more practical, but less systematic, form of this Socialism sought to depreciate every revolutionary movement in the eyes of the working class, by showing that no mere political reform, but only a change in the material conditions of existence, in economic relations, could be of any advantage to them. By changes in the material conditions of existence, this form of Socialism, however, by no means understands abolition of the bourgeois relations of production, an abolition that can be effected only by a revolution, but administrative reforms, based on the continued existence of these relations; reforms, therefore, that in no respect affect the relations between capital and labour, but, at the best, lessen the cost, and simplify the administrative work, of bourgeois government. Bourgeois Socialism attains adequate expression, when, and only when, it becomes a mere figure of speech. Free trade: for the benefit of the working class. Protective duties: for the benefit of the working class. Prison Reform: for the benefit of the working class. This is the last word and the only seriously meant word of bourgeois Socialism. It is summed up in the phrase: the bourgeois is a bourgeois—for the benefit of the working class.
-The Communist Manifesto, Karl Marx and Frederich Engels
