an: hi lovesss!!!! I present you with a new fic, finally. this song is loosely based off of "bed chem" by sabrina carpenter, and the one and only quinn hughes. this is one of my favorites, I'm really happy with how it turned out! I hope you all enjoy, like and reblog if you did :)
as always, much much love <3
He caught your attention in a room full of people, your eyes stuck to him like glue. Your eyes followed his every movement, watching him wordlessly from across the busy club. Watching how he interacted with the people around him, how his lips broke into a smile as he laughed at something someone said to him.
He, whoever he was, was beautiful. From his hair, eyes, smile, everything. Not to mention how his white fitted shirt looked on him. The fit was so perfect, it almost looked like it was painted on him. You felt like a creep looking at him, but you couldn't help it. There was just something about him that was almost addictive? Something bad, but yet so so good.
“Are you done staring at him like a creep, or are you gonna go over and say something?” your friend says besides you, snapping you out of daydream
“I wasn't looking..just observing” you say, clearing your throat, before taking a drink of the watered down cocktail in front of you in hopes to avert your gaze from the Greek god of a man in front of you.
“Well..he and his friends just looked over here and pointed.” she giggles from besides you
“Shit. Are you joking? Youve got to be joking right?” you whisper-yell to her in a state of panic
“Nope,” she says, popping the p.
“Oh god, yn they're coming over here now.” she says frantically
“Oh my god” you say, moving to sit up straighter in your seat. Your eyes move to follow the very attractive man and his friends make their way over to you guys.
“Shit he is hot, and so are his friends.” your friend gushes out besides you
“Shut it, act normal, talk to me about something.” you say quickly, your eyes flickering to the men who are moving in closer.
Your friend starts talking to you about something random, but you can't concentrate on her words. Your mind is locked in the man approaching, that you can't gather another thought about anything else, as you watch them in the corner of your eye. Just as they are about to reach the table, another large group of men cuts in front of them. Wrapping each of the men into hugs, yelling and smiling as they interact, with what you assume are their friends.
“Youve got to be kidding me” she says, stopping mid sentence of her empty word ramble.
“ well..thats, that i guess” you sign out, looking as the men pull each other to the bar in the opposite direction.
“Guy in the white shirt is looking at you, look up look up.” she says slapping your arm
Quickly reacting, pulling your head up. Your eyes find him quickly, as he looks back at you. Sending you a quick wink and smirk before he turns around following his friends.
“Oh my gosh. Yn he so wants you”
“I don't even know if i'll see him again”
“Never say never.”
You giggle at her opsitism, before throwing the rest of your drink back, hopping out of your seat, moving to grabher hands pulling her towards the dance floor.
“Come on! We came to have fun, right?” you shout at her, as you two giggle walking hand in hand to the dance floor.
–
After lots of fun, maybe too much fun and a few more drinks later. You finally make your way back to your hotel. You come back solo you might add, your friend being pulled away by a hot mysterious man who caught her attention. Leading her to follow him out of the club with a wide smile on her face.
Sighing deeply as you stare at your shoes waiting for the elevator door to open, a few moments later a loud ding signals in the opening. Heading in quickly, and hitting your floor. Leaning your exposed back against the cool elevator door, the only thing on your mind is taking off your shoes, and washing a somewhat disappointing night out away.
Just as the elevator is about to close, you hear a man shouting to hold the door. Pushing yourself off the wall to hit the open button. The out of breath man quickly moves in, as you look up to ask him what floor he needs, you're face to face with, hot fitted white shirt man, who's staring at you with widened eyes.
“What floor do you need?” you ask quietly, struggling to find your words.
“Um, 69 please, oh wait you've already pressed that.” The man finally speaks to you, his deep voice filling the now closed elevator.
“You're the girl from the club tonight.” he says looking over at you from across the elevator.
“And you're the guy” you say
“Felt you looking at me, the whole night” he says, his words causing a blush to rise to your cheeks as you look back down at your shoes.
“Don't be embarrassed, i was looking too.” he continues
“I saw” you spoke
“Almost had you too” he says
“Almost..” you repeat to him softly, your gaze flickering between his lips and eyes.
“Well we’re here now” he replies
“You have 9 floors to make something happen..” you trail off
“Quinn. My names quinn” he says
“Yn. my names yn”
“Well yn i only need 2 floors to make this happen” quinn says, quickly making his way over to you. One of his hands meeting your hip as the other holding your face, pulling you into him, your lips connecting as one.
The motion happens so quickly you barely have time to register what your body is doing until you're kissing him back quickly. Your hands tangle themselves into his hair as you pull yourself into his body.
You two are so wrapped up into each other that you don't even realize the elevator has stopped, the door opening slowly.
Quinn pulls back, his lips swollen as he looks down at you. “How was that for something yn?” he says, dropping his gaze down to you.
“I think i might need you to show me a bit more” you whisper
“Oh really?” he says as he slowly pulls you out of the elevator.
“Mhm” you mumble to him
“Lead the way” he says, dropping his hand from you, waiting on your next move.
You take a second to take him in natural light. Everything about him is intoxicating, you need more. No matter the cost, or how bad of an idea it could be. You don't care, not right now. Before you can give it a second thought, you're pulling him by his hand by your room. Your steps are quick, your body hot with need.
Reaching your room quickly, dropping Quinn's hand, as you start searching for your key card, you feel Quinn's hot body against yours. His lips finding your neck and his hands back on your hips as he pulls you back against him. Your movements began to halter as he began to get lost in his touch.
“Quinn..you have to get off me for 30 seconds so i can open the door”
“Mhm. I know, but I'm getting impatient. I've wanted you all night.” he says against your neck, his warm breath sending chills down your body.
“You wanna know what i've thought about and what i'm thinking about right now? Hm?” he asks
“Yes, yes tell me” you gasp out, your hands trying to move quickly, still in search of the key.
“How the dress would look on the floor, how your body would look against mine. How youd look all fucked out for me in my bed” he says, his lips tight to your ear.
Just as he finishes his sentence, your hands grasp the key card in your purse. Pulling it out quickly, and tapping it against the door aggressively, pushing the door open as soon as it buzzes open.
Quinn moves quickly, pushing you in slamming the door, and before you know it his lips are against yours as if they never left. You're quick to turn him around, your hands moving against the buttons on his shirt as he hits the bed, pulling you on top of him; your lips never once leaving each other.
“You're dangerous” quinn says pulling away from your lips
“Why's that?” you ask, your hands still working to unbutton his shirt.
“I've barely had any of you, and i dont think ill ever get enough” he says looking at you
“Who said you ever have to stop, we’re just getting started” you say while unbuttoning the last button on his shirt before pushing it off his shoulders.
Quinn responds with a look and a small smirk and you know what that means.

In case anybody was wondering what my current thoughts are for the whole story behind the 100 days multiverse bit, here they are! Some stuff I'm hedging my bets on still but I've not solidly noted it down if there isn't at least a handful of reason as to why. Some of this is also information I got from the lore document pinned in the discord. I haven't quite been able to finish as much as I wanted. Lore doc stuff will have an asterisk next to it
Things I'm pretty damn certain on
- The Alterans were an initial larger group, which Decem and co split off from.
- Decem is both an individual and a group*
- The Alterans did in fact remove Legundo's memories. It feels pretty explicitly mentioned but I haven't gotten there yet.
- Legundo was a member of Decem, the evidence provided by the lore doc seems pretty explicit on this one*
- Legundo was initially yeeted into the unknown by The Alterans.*
- There's some kind of requisite for either Decem to give up or for Legundo to go back or something. I'll elaborate on this later.
- It's some kind of fight over control of the multiverse, or Decem is planning to destroy and then reform it how they wish. The chess references* incline it towards a fight for control but I haven't seen much or I don't quite recall enough on it to say so much about The Alterans.
- Legundo is Literally just Doing His Best out here guys. He doesn't know what exactly is happening or why, just roughly who's involved and that they won't leave him alone. Also I think he needs a friend :(
- Legundo is some form of irreplaceable to Decem and thus has value to The Alterans
- Decem's power is split between the 10 members, in which I have SO many questions about.
Things I SWEAR have meaning and by god I will find it.
- The Deal. Again, I'll elaborate later.
- Each of the titles for the members of Decem. (I do not remember them all off the top of my head but theres supposed to be 10.)
- what on this unholy green earth is The Nexus. I'm assuming some kind of gateway, but I cannot tell.
- Disagreements between members of Decem and co.*
- Decem wants Legundo alive, despite having taken more violent action in the past. I have questions. (This does mean that any prerequisite has nothing or little to do with Legundo's continued survival)
- The obelisks. I keep seeing people have theories on what they do/what they're for and oh my god WHY are they THERE
- Darkness. Why.
- The cult from the darkness world. There's implications to this and I sit here and scream.
Best guess I've got for now
Legundo was taken from Decem as The Architect, had his memories erased by The Alterans and launched into some corner of the multiverse to try and delay his return to Decem or whatever.
Decem is some kind of malicious or lightly malicious entity. I haven't quite figured out if Decem, The Guy, is a god or other kind of deity or if they're just really good at being a cult leader.
The Alterans managed to contain or imprison Decem members at some point. If this is before or after nabbing Legundo, I haven't quite figured it out yet.
The obelisks are the things chucking Legundo between universes like a hacky sack. Desert episode guys, come on.
Which means there has to be a reason why Decem is chucking Legundo around the mutliverse like a hacky sack, which is suggested to be to bring Legundo closer to Decem so they can either use him to break out or grab his goofy ass and kidnap him back to wherever they camp out. The Alterans either don't, can't, or won't do anything about this until they get a little too close at which point they give him an option out.
Legundo knows something about Decem and the fact that he was part of their group at one point. I don't remember the exact wording so this one is on thin ice but I swear something about not going back was said before he went through the ancient city portal. I think there's time passed between each world and I haven't actually seen anything about this so far, it could be in another series and I just don't know because I fell down this rabbit hole like. Two-three weeks ago.
The Alterans aren't great either. Magic, I imagine, likely leaves a kind of almost residue? Some kind of Vibe, especially large scale magic. His hesitance towards going through the portal at the end of the darkness world is interesting. Either way this feels like a kid whose parents are in the middle of a very, very messy divorce.
Elaboration hour
The FUCKIN deal. WHAT deal mr legundo sir. WHAT. I have a very clear clip in my brain of him saying "We had a deal!" At the end of the 'new mod a day' world. There's some kind of agreement that Decem goes along with to an extent for some reason. If it's an attempt at compliance then it doesn't explain the fear and hesitance about the obelisks showing up still. Legundo isn't naive. By this point you'd think he'd be used to it if the deal was anything about transporting him across the multiverse, much less a timer on how long he gets to stay.
Actually, thinking about it a little harder now, I reckon it's a chance. I think it has something to do with Legundo gets 100 days to try and hide or do something and if he can successfully evade Decem for however long and/or complete,,, something (at which point I wonder what exactly)? Then he wins. But with Decem being the one choosing where he goes and the situations he ends up in, they know what world he's in. Given that they seem to be observing him somehow, I'd also say that's how they show up the morning of day 100 without fail. Having gone 10 worlds before Decem really caught up to Legundo a little, I have to wonder if there's any pattern or reasoning to each world selected. I'll have to go and look at what each world is and if there's any correlation to Decem characters later. It's likely not very relevant nor important, but it'd be fun to know anyways, even if there is no relation.
The obelisk powers now, I know it includes player transport and revival. I also reckon they have something to do with either tracking or a general conduit for Decem's power(s), as well as acting as some form of communicative link given how Legundo speaks to them like they can hear him. Also the malicious compliance from Decem also encourages this notion.
Anyways yeah I still don't know how or why Decem's power seems split the way it is (something about full power 'when we are whole' from the bit after 11, from who I presume to be The Warrior speaking. The Warrior said a lot of interesting things I went over that on another post.) Or exactly what their goals are. I know that both The Alterans and Decem have interest in Legundo, enough to be fighting over him like a pair of small children. Whether it be from a general investment of power standpoint or there's something seriously up with this guy, I still can't quite tell and unfortunately I do not have the current time to find out right now.
Either way here I am. Full hyperfixation in progress, and I reckon I'll be around for a while.

# tsukishima kei ‐ better for you
Tumblr media
a/n: a request for anon that definitely took me too long to write T-T i'm terribly sorry for the delay .... also this strangely reminds me of my first ever fic on this account (which was also abt tsukki) so it's kinda silly :33
summary: tsukishima is jealous and not exactly good at hiding it.
warnings: none, pure fluff
Tumblr media
tsukishima has been awfully quiet since you arrived at the training camp.
it's not like that was an unusual behavior from him - he was naturally a quiet, introverted person, so anyone with a basic knowledge about his personality would assume it's perfectly normal. but you knew better.
he was your boyfriend, after all. even if quiet and rather reserved, he would continuously taunt you with his snarky comments and witty remarks, almost twice as much as he would his teammates. but for the last two days or so, his demeanor changed; there was something that ticked him off, and, contrary to his beliefs, he was not good at hiding his jealousy.
figuring out the reason behind it was a no-brainer.
tsukishima adjusted his glasses as he observed yet another guy walking up to you, and he could already recite the way this conversation was about to go from memory. he stood next to yamaguchi, back resting on the outer wall of the gym, eyes staring daggers into the fukurodani jersey of the boy trying to hit on you. but of course, he didn't do a thing about it, instead opting for a low, annoyed huff.
you could see him from where you stood, and a sigh left your lips as you saw his eyes dart away from yours the moment they met, the blonde boy wasting no time in walking away to a spot where he wouldn't have to see the situation in front of him.
the boy in front of you, whose name you've found out to be komi, fukurodani's libero, kept on babbling about something, but you've stopped listening a while ago, quickly excusing yourself to follow after your boyfriend.
'wait.' you said, voice just loud enough for tsukishima to stop in his tracks, head turning around to face you, waiting for you to continue what you wanted to say. you caught up with him, eyes squinting a little as you looked up because of the sun positioned right behind his head. 'are you really jealous of all these guys?'
'no.' he rolled his eyes, a classic sign of frustration from him, almost as if he intentionally tried to show you that despite his words, he is indeed annoyed with them.
'i can clearly see that you are.' he didn't answer you this time, silence taking over as he avoided eye contact with you, acting more childish than ever. you couldn't help but smile, hand reaching out for his with a gentle squeeze. 'you know that they could never steal me from you, right?'
silence.
'oh, come on, you're sulking like a five year old baby right now.'
'says the one who acts like a baby all the goddamn time.' his remark made you crack a smile, happy that you got him to talk. 'it's annoying. and it's not like i don't trust you either. it's something different.'
'hm?'
he let go of your hand, taking a few steps forward, the setting sun hitting his face as he stared into the magine in front of him; the hill he had to run up and down at least five times that day, barely noticeable roofs of homes situated not far away.
'don't you think that at least one of them could be, you know.' you already knew what point he was trying to make, and yet hearing it from him made your heart break a little. 'better for you?'
a moment of silence passed, the chirping birds being heard from away.
'no.'
he could hear the sound of your shoes hitting the ground with each step you took towards him, your arms gently wrapping around his torso from behind, face nuzzling into his back.
'look at me, tsukki.' hearing your words, he slowly turned his head around, only to be met with your lips already on his in a sweet, short kiss. 'listen carefully, alright?'
'i'm.' kiss. 'not.' kiss. 'going.' kiss. 'anywhere.'
he couldn't help but smile at your actions, breaking out of his aloof persona for a split second, hand searching for yours to hold it tenderly.
'besides,' you added, lips curving up into a sly smile. 'none of them could give me the same level of sarcasm that i love so much.'
you continued smooching his lips, cheeks, forehead, nose, trying to cover his entire face with kisses.
'alright, alright.' he mumbled quietly, pulling you away as he adjusted his hair. 'don't be so touchy here, though. not that i don't like it, it's just-'
'i knew it!' you recognized the voice behind you immediately, and tsukishima's shocked face only confirmed your suspicions.
'let's leave the lovebirds before kei kills us with his death stare, bokuto.' another familiar voice was heard, and as you turned around, you immediately noticed the spikey black hair and kuroo's tall frame.
as they ran away, shouting a familiar rhyme of 'y/n and tsukki sitting on a tree', you couldn't help but laugh, resting your head on your boyfriend's shoulder. he didn't look half as content as you, lips in a straight line as if he just got caught doing something so utterly embarrassing he would never recover from it.
'if they continue this, everyone will know.' he mumbled, back to his usual, annoyed tone.
'look at the positives, kei.' you nudged him on the shoulder, smiling up at him. 'at least now no one will flirt with me anymore. no more frustrations for you.'
and maybe you were right.
or maybe you weren't, as he found out later, when the information of your relationship got to the ears of his overly excited upperclassmen.

Tumblr media
Agreeing to go to this party was a big mistake. At least that’s what you were beginning to believe as the minutes ticked by and you were still sitting alone at the bar, two and a half drinks down when you thought you’d only have one. But then again, you also thought your girlfriend wouldn’t ditch you for so long to go god knows where.
Crowds weren’t your thing either and Wanda knew that. So when she got invited to Tony’s extravagant party she knew she would have to do some convincing. Luckily for her, she also knew exactly how to get you to agree. Right now, as you sat nervously in a sea of party goers, downing your third drink, you were really regretting how easily you folded.
Your fingers tapped on the bar counter as you considered ordering a fourth since Wanda was still nowhere in sight. The alcohol would calm your nerves hopefully, but the rational side of your brain told you to slow it down. You weren’t drunk, but you definitely weren’t sober either. It might be best to keep yourself as level as you can be while teetering that line between tipsy and drunk. At least until you find Wanda.
It didn’t help that, not only had Wanda ditched you, but the moment you two got there she was preoccupied with whoever was blowing up her phone. You assumed that was why she told you she needed a moment and made her way through the crowd without you. What also added to your frustration was that you couldn’t find a single soul you knew. Natasha had graciously thought to text you to tell you she would be there but was running late. At this point, between waiting for your girlfriend and waiting for your best friend for what you think is about thirty minutes, your patience was wearing thin.
You decided to give it just five more minutes. If you didn’t see Wanda return to your side or Natasha to swoop in and rescue you, then you’d go hunt down your girlfriend. The only thing was now you couldn’t decide if you wanted to drag her back to the bar and then freely let yourself get drunk with her watchful eye on you as you let go of your anxiety or drag her ass back home and into the comfort and safety of your very cozy bed. You were leaning towards the second option.
No matter how many times you checked your phone, it didn’t change the fact that you had no new notifications. Not from Wanda, not from Nat, not from a single person you thought might be at that party. No, the only notification you got was the warning that your phone battery hit 10%. With a heavy sigh, you decided that was the sign to go find someone you knew. Preferably your missing girlfriend, who you were now quite frustrated with.
Pushing yourself off the bar, your eyes set their sights on the exit to the main hall of the party. You’d scour the entire place if you needed to so you could find your girlfriend and hopefully convince her to get the hell out of here. You’d already been scanning the crowd in the main part of the event and you’d definitely caught at least a glimpse of her red hair through the crowd, but alas she was nowhere insight.
With gusto, you pushed through the crowd until you reached the exit of the crowded room and was just met with a few scattered groups of people here and there in the halls leading up to the main event space. You took a deep breath, you might not have been outside necessarily, but at least you were away from all the excitement and the reduced noise was refreshing to you. Quickly, but still carefully as you scanned your surroundings, you made your way through the rest of the building. Still no Wanda. You were getting farther and farther away from the party and deeper and deeper into the more secluded parts of the convention center. Tony really picked a maze to rent out, you thought as you chose random halls to turn and search through.
All the while, you were checking your phone. You had sent more than a few texts to Wanda, each conveying a little more of your frustration than the last. None of those messages went answered, let alone read. What was worse was there was still no sign of Nat. She promised to text you the moment she arrived and you at least trusted her to keep her word, so you knew you at least wouldn’t run into her in these halls.
After a few more turns, you realized the sound of the party’s booming music was now nothing more than a dull hum. You were probably on the complete opposite side of the building. Your hopes in finding Wanda were starting to diminish and for a second you seriously contemplated just calling a car to take you home. But as if by some miracle you finally heard her voice echo down the hall.
Your pace picked up as you followed the sound of her voice. Finally, you could get the hell out of this place. Being left at the party for so long had already made you ready to leave, but having to search through an unfamiliar place for so long meant you weren’t going to budge on that decision. Wanda was going to take you home and there wasn’t going to be any argument about it.
“Wanda, where did you go?” You said as you caught a glimpse of her when rounding the corner of the hall. “I’ve been looking all over for-“ You cut yourself off when she was fully in view. Only she wasn’t alone. Stopping dead in your tracks the scene before you felt like a gut punch. There she was, Wanda, the woman you love, wrapped in the arms of the man she used to be with. Your world felt like it shattered in two seconds.
Neither heard you, but Vision was the first to see you. He pulled from Wanda’s lips to lock eyes with you. His face was devoid of any emotion when he took in your shocked expression. As if he didn’t realize he was taking away the one person you love most in this world. As if what you caught him doing was nothing to him.
Wanda’s reaction was the exact opposite of Visions when their kiss broke, but you didn’t notice. Your eyes locked on the man who was currently all over your girlfriend. You couldn’t begin to look at Wanda, but if you did you would’ve noticed the way her body was absolutely ridged in Vision’s embrace. The moment Wanda realized Vision had pulled away, her hands pressed hard to his chest and she gave a powerful shove. His arms fell from her, but when he didn’t even acknowledge her fuming in front of him, she turned to see where he was staring off to.
And then her heart stopped. The anger Wanda showed towards Vision immediately transformed into concern as her eyes locked onto your face. Wanda knew what this looked like, and it wasn’t good.
Wanda didn’t have to read your mind to understand exactly what you thought this whole ordeal was, she could see it written all over your face. The problem is, it really wasn’t what it looked like.
Wanda had been getting bombarded with messages from Vision from the very minute she arrived with you at Tony’s party. He caught a glimpse of her with you on his arm and it sparked something in him to decide tonight was a night to make a stand. After messages flooded in, Wanda’s mood was souring when she was really hoping to enjoy this night and show you off to everyone as hers and hers alone. Only, she couldn’t do that when she was getting increasingly pissed off with Vision and she was growing concerned he’d make a scene. So, she gave in and abandoned you at the bar to go have what was supposed to be a brief chat. She knew you’d be frustrated by this, but she had hoped she’d be back quick enough to make it up to you. Wanda was incredibly wrong.
Vision and Wanda argued back and forth for well over half an hour. Wanda was clearly standing her ground, but unfortunately so was Vision. When Wanda felt more and more buzzes from her phone as the arguing went on she knew when she returned to your side you’d be pretty angry with her and then there went her evening of parading her girlfriend around proudly for the world to see. So, since the argument with Vision was getting nowhere Wanda tried to cut him off and just walk away. But “tried” is the key word here, because before she knew it he caught her off guard.
Vision was never one to make bold moves. When Wanda was with him, he was always incredibly predictable. It was part of the reason they didn’t work. He was just… boring. There was no spark. But tonight, Vision was a little less predictable than Wanda expected. Before she could turn she found herself pulled back and into his chest and within a blink suddenly she found his cold lips pressed to hers. Immediately, she wanted to retch. The feeling of anyone touching her in any kind of way felt wrong to her, when she found you she knew you were the one she’d been searching for. To even think about being with anyone other than you in any sort of intimate way made her skin crawl, so to have Vision’s lips pressed against hers felt like the most unnatural thing in the world. It made her want to rip his lips off, if she was being totally honest.
Admittedly, it took her a moment to get over the shock of his bold, but incredibly uncalled for actions, but when she did register exactly what was happening that was when the rage set in. That was also, unfortunately, a moment after you saw the scene as it unfolded.
So now, here all three of you were. Vision still oblivious to the rage he caused in Wanda. Wanda was looking at you with a mixture of panic and sympathy, knowing exactly what you must be thinking right now. And then there was you, still just standing there utterly frozen.
Your eyes finally drifted over to where Wanda stood and the look she was giving you made your stomach painfully turn. Wanda’s eyes were glued to you and all you could see in them was extreme guilt. Did she feel guilty she got caught? Did she feel guilty she just witnessed your heart break in front of her? Whatever that guilt was, it suddenly turned your shock into pure anger.
Your mouth opened and closed, trying to find the right words to respond to the shit show in front of you, but then you realized there were none. You wanted to scream and curse and, honestly, knock Vision’s lights out if you even thought that was possible. However, you knew none of that was productive and you also knew if you started screaming you’d also start crying and you didn’t want to give them the satisfaction of that. You didn’t want to break yet, not in front of Wanda and especially not in front of Vision.
So, you start to turn around. Your current plan: cut and run. This place is so much of a fucking maze, you were sure you could lose Wanda while you waited for a car to come.
Except, you should’ve known Wanda was faster than you, so when you started to speed walk away she left Vision in the dust to follow right on your heel.
“Wait, fuck, just wait!” Wanda yelled from behind you. You shook your head, there was no way you wanted to hear her out. Your blood was boiling and you could already tell you were two seconds away from losing your cool. You just had to get a fucking car and then you could lose it in the comfort of your own home. “Come on, where are you even going?”
“Away from you,” You said over your shoulder. It was a miracle you were even able to dodge bumping into anyone as you were struggling to escape Wanda and call an Uber at the same time. There were a lot of factors that were making it way too difficult for you to escape a determined Wanda who was aggressively following you. One of the factors was that your hands were shaking so badly you could barely type what you needed to type in order to pick the right destination to get home and another factor was that your phone somehow ended up going from 10% to 1% in the time it took for you to find Wanda in the first place. Right before you were about to hit the button in the app to order your escape car, your screen went black and you stopped in your tracks.
“Fuck!” You howled, half tempted to throw your phone across the hall.
“Let me take you home,” Wanda stopped right behind you, placing a hand on your shoulder. “We can talk.”
You jerked away from her touch as if it burned and when you spun around, seeing that look of guilt again pissed you off even further. “I’m not going anywhere with you.”
“(Y/N), just come on, let's go to the car.” Wanda’s voice was level, calm even. She was doing her best to be patient and understanding, because she knew what you must be thinking. She would’ve been furious too if the positions were switched. However, the more calm she sounded the more you thought she was being condescending, even if there was no indication of that in her tone. You were just too hurt and angry to really pay attention to much else at the moment.
“I’ll find another way,” You spat. “I don’t want to be near you right now. I can’t even fucking look at you.”
That hit a nerve. For a split second you saw frustration towards you flash on Wanda’s features, but then in a blink it was gone and her composure came back. Wanda didn’t want to spend the night screaming at each other, she was going to at least try to avoid that. If she could calm you down she could explain and start making it up to you, but your behavior was quickly testing her.
“(Y/N), stop it.” Wanda’s voice was more firm as she spoke. “Let’s just go. How are you going to even get home without me? Your phone is dead. What’s your plan?”
“I’ll take her.” The two of you turned to follow the voice and to your relief there came Nat from the other end of the hall.
Natasha had some great fucking timing. You didn’t want to be near Wanda for another second and now finally your best friend was there to save the day. You didn’t even know how she found you in this place, but you were too thankful to even question it.
“Come on,” Nat extended a hand towards you. “I’ll take you home.” She nodded at you encouragingly, soft eyes meeting yours. She didn’t know what this was about, but she didn’t need much context to know that somehow Wanda majorly fucked up. Nat knew it was only a matter of time before that happened. She saw how territorial Wanda was with you and for some reason, Nat never trusted it. So, unfortunately for Wanda, Nat became almost as fiercely protective of you as she was.
“Okay,” You let out a shaky sigh of relief. “Okay, yeah.” You took her hand and that’s when Wanda’s patience was really wearing thin.
“I can take her home,” Wanda stepped in front of Nat quickly before she could pull you away. “We,” Wanda turned her eyes to look at you, “Need to seriously talk.”
“She said she didn’t want to, Wanda.” Nat answered for you. The glare she gave Wanda would make anyone else cower in fear, but directed towards Wanda it only angered her more. “I’m taking her home.”
“And what then?” Wanda challenged. Nat knew exactly what Wanda was implying. As much as you told Nat you reassured Wanda that the thing between you two was platonic, Nat knew Wanda refused to believe you.
“I’m just dropping her off.” Nat didn’t miss a beat, refusing to back down from Wanda’s attempts to intimidate her.
“Sure you are,” Wanda scoffed.
“Wanda!” You interrupted. This was ridiculously and you just wanted to go home. Right now really isn't the time to deal with a fight between the two people who care about you most, or at least who you thought did. “You’re not one to talk and I’m leaving right now.”  With that you tugged on Nat’s hand and began to walk in any direction that didn’t lead to Wanda. You’d find your way out of this place somehow, hopefully, but right way or not you didn’t want to look at your girlfriend any longer. “Don’t follow us!” You ordered behind you as you dragged Nat with you.
Wanda stood there and watched you walk away. She wasn’t going to follow you, she already had a better plan. She was going to beat you home. After all, she did have a key to your place. Was it the best plan to corner you and get you to talk? No, Wanda thought this would definitely be a night full of yelling and arguing now, but she didn’t really give a fuck. She wasn’t going to leave Natasha alone with you while you were in this state. No matter what, Wanda just didn’t quite trust Nat with you. Whether Nat realized it herself or not, Wanda knew there was more to her feelings. She watched the way Natasha looked at you, she didn’t need to read her mind to know what her intentions were.
So as soon as the two of you were out of sight, Wanda rushed to her car. She was going to make sure she got there first.
—-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The car ride with Natasha was silent, but you were incredibly thankful for that. You just sat with your eyes glued to the window. The passing scenery not even registering to you, all you saw was that scene of Vision kissing Wanda replaying over and over again. Natasha didn’t question what happened, she knew if you wanted to talk you would. Instead, she just drove, her eyes flicking over to you every once in a while to make sure you were okay.
When you both pulled up to your place, you asked Nat if you could sit in the car for a little bit, not quite ready to walk into your empty home and break down.
“What happened?” Nat tentatively asked, breaking the silence after a few minutes of you just sitting and staring at your front door. “You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to.” She quickly added, trying her best not to push you into doing or saying anything you didn’t want to.
“She kissed Vis.” Your voice was barely a whisper, your hands balling into fists on your lap. Natasha just stared at you for a moment. If she already wasn’t pissed with the scene she witnessed at Tony’s party, now she was furious.
“Whatever you need,” Nat offered, “I’m here.” She knew from your tone you didn’t want to give much more information, so she didn’t press. She just offered you what space she could and waited patiently as you both sat in silence for a few more minutes.
After some time went by, you finally nodded  to yourself and started to get out of the car. Nat insisted on walking you in. You didn’t protest much, you understood she was concerned about you. Natasha’s intention was just to give you a moment to collect yourself once you sat at home and give you the opportunity to talk more, cry, whatever you needed. She figured you could tell her then if you wanted her to leave or not, but if you wanted her to stay she’d be the shoulder you needed to cry on.
So she followed you in, but what neither of you noticed was the familiar car parked on the other side of the street .
“I thought she was just going to drop you off.” You heard the voice in the dark the minute you and Nat walked in the door. It startled the hell out of you, but Nat just seemed unphased. She was somewhat expecting this behavior from Wanda. Natasha had hoped you two would make it time, so she could protect you while you did what you needed to heal from whatever pain Wanda caused. Obviously, that wasn’t going to be how the rest of tonight played out.
Reaching over, you flipped the lights on only to see Wanda sitting on the couch, arms folded over her chest and clear irritation written all over her face. You expected Wanda to chase after you, but you didn’t expect her to let herself into your place or to even beat you to it. Right now, you were really regretting giving her a key.
“How did you get here before us?” Was the only thing you could think to say as you stared at the one person you really didn’t want to be looking at right now.
“I should be asking you why it took you so long.” Wanda said, clearly still annoyed by Natasha’s presence. Meanwhile, Nat was just standing beside you, her arms folded just like Wanda’s, with a matching annoyed expression on her face. “What were you two doing in the car for so long?” You didn’t miss what Wanda was insinuating and you didn’t like it one bit.
“We were talking.” Natasha answered for you. “I was comforting her.” Wanda’s lips twitched at that and you knew Nat just hit a nerve. You bit your lip to stop the taunting smirk you wanted to give Wanda. Anything that pissed Wanda off felt a little like a small victory. She was jealous? Good, you thought, now she had the smallest taste of how you were feeling.
“I’m sure you were,” Wanda gave a tight lipped smile. “But we need to talk so I suggest you leave now.”
“I’m not leaving until she asks me to.” You looked at Nat in awe as she held her ground, not even phased by the brewing rage that showed in Wanda’s eyes. She stood by you, unwavering in her resolve. “I think it’s you who should leave.”
“Oh do you?” Wanda scoffed. “I’m not leaving. She’s my girlfriend, or have you both forgotten?”
“I think you’re the one that forgot that, Wanda.” You finally speak, fists clenching as you stand practically shaking. How dare she try to be territorial after she did what she did? You weren’t going to stand for this or for the way she was treating Nat. “And I agree with Nat. You should go.”
Wanda’s eyes left Nat’s for a moment and when they reached you, you could almost see them soften. She could tell you were hurting, could tell you were confused. All she wanted to do was clear the air, reassure you that what you saw was a misunderstanding that she doesn’t and would never want Vision in the way she wanted you. If she could just talk to you without Natasha’s frustrating presence then everything would be okay, she was sure of it. It would take some convincing, but you’d understand. She’d make you understand.
But then, Nat placed her hand on your waist and something inside Wanda snapped. You saw her eyes zero in on the contact Natasha made with you and you didn’t miss the way her eye practically twitched as anger began to rise yet again. “I’m not leaving.” Wanda held her ground. She was sure as hell not going to let you be alone, vulnerable and hurting with someone like Natasha to come prey on your current state. Wanda wasn’t a fool, she could practically picture what would happen. “Not until we talk. Alone.”
You looked from Wanda to Nat. On the one hand, you really wanted your closest friend to stay by your side, on the other hand you could imagine things would get ugly if Nat were to stay. It was clear, Wanda really wasn’t going to leave until you two talked. Either way, you imagined things would get ugly, but at least you could save yourself a little bit from even more embarrassment by having Natasha avoid the total blow up that you knew was bound to happen.
“It’s okay, Nat.” You heard yourself say before you could really register your decision. “I’ll be okay, why don’t you head home?”
Nat’s jaw clenched as she glared at Wanda for a moment before looking back at you. “Are you sure?” You felt her hand squeeze your waist gently where it rested and all you saw in your friend’s eyes was concern. “I don’t have to-”
“She said she wanted you to head home.” Wanda cut her off, stalking towards the two of you.
“I wasn’t talking to you,” Nat spit, not even bothering to look over at Wanda as she came closer. “I can stay,” she reassured you.
You shook your head. Wanda was two seconds away from making this even worse than it already was. You weren’t entirely sure what Wanda would do to Nat, and you knew Nat could hold her own, but you also didn’t necessarily want to test any of that. “It’s okay, really.” You placed your hand over the hand Nat still had resting on your shoulder. “If anything happens,” You said in a hushed voice. “I’ll call you.”
“Please do,” Natasha urged. She looked back between you and where Wanda stood. Thankfully Wanda stopped just a few feet from you both, seemingly satisfied for now that Natasha was agreeing to leave. She felt triumphant that clearly, even when upset with her, you knew to choose her in situations like this. If she wasn’t still so concerned with getting through to you, she would be gloating at the fact that you chose her. Of course, she had no doubt that you wouldn’t. You were hers and she knew that you knew that. Then again, she also thought you would never believe so easily that she would just willingly touch and be touched by another, not when you two were so clearly in love. But then, here you both were.
You gave Natasha one more nod of reassurance and Nat just looked back at you, hesitant to take her eyes off you for even a second, but the tap of Wanda’s foot told her if she didn’t leave things would escalate even further fast. So, with great hesitation, she turned from you, giving you one last concerned look before heading out the door and closing it behind her.
It was silent for a moment. Your eyes were glued to the door Natasha had just walked out of and Wanda’s were glued to you. Neither of you knew how to start, but you knew if you started you’d just dig in. You were hurting and two seconds away from starting an all out war with Wanda, but you also knew that wouldn’t be productive. If you were being honest, the only thing you wanted to do now that Nat was gone was crawl into bed and sob your eyes out.
“(Y/N), it wasn’t what it looked like.” Wanda finally broke the silence, taking another step towards you.
You just scoffed and walked past her to the bedroom, making sure to not-so-gently brush her shoulder as you passed. If you two were going to have this fight you needed a minute. At least you wanted to change out of your party clothes. “That’s a cliche,” You said over your shoulder as you walked into the bedroom. Wanda just stood there stunned for a moment, not used to getting the cold treatment from you. It was quickly beginning to irritate her.
Turning on her heels, Wanda was right behind you in a matter of moments, following you straight into the bedroom. “It wasn’t,” Wanda insisted, watching as you walked into your closet and began to pull out different clothes.
“I’ve heard this all before,” You called from the closet as you dug for more comfortable clothes. “I know this story. I was just stupid to think…” You stopped and shook your head before gathering your clothes. “It doesn’t matter. I don’t want to hear it, Wanda. I honestly still want you to leave.”
“Just let me explain,” Wanda sighed, sitting herself down on your bed while she waited for you to come back out of the closet. With clothes in your hand, your eyebrow quirked as you saw her get comfortable. Something about the image of Wanda in your room, on your bed, after you saw what you saw was making you feel more bitter. It made you think back to the kiss you witnessed and made you wonder how many times Wanda was in his bed since being with you.
“Get up and turn around.” You commanded as you stood right outside of your closet.
“What?” Wanda eyed you curiously. “Why?”
“I’m going to change.”
“I’ve seen you naked before,” Wanda deadpanned.
Yes, she certainly has, but the idea of her seeing you like that now made your stomach churn. Being vulnerable like that with her was a privilege you gave to her when you thought she was only being that intimate with you. Now, though, everything has changed. “I don’t care.” Your tone was harsh. “Get Up. Turn Around.”
Wanda stared you down for a moment. You just stared back with exasperation and Wanda realized you wouldn’t budge on this. With a loud and dramatic huff, she got up from where she sat herself on your bed and turned as you began to pull off your party clothes and slip into something more comfortable.
It didn’t sit right with Wanda that you had her turn around. It was one little crack in her hopeful plan to convince you. It was a sign that you were slipping from her and the thought of that sent anxiety creeping up her spine. She tried to tell herself it was just your way of punishing her for the scene you saw. Once you understood it would be okay, she told herself. It had to be okay.
“You can turn around now.” You said and immediately Wanda jumped at the opportunity to look at you again. She hoped that if you saw the sincerity in her eyes you’d be convinced faster that she wasn’t cheating on you, but when she saw you look at her with nothing but an aloof expression, she was worried it wouldn’t be so easy. Not only that, but she was already struggling to keep her composure with your stubborn attitude.
“Can we talk now?” Wanda was trying so hard to be gentle about this. She knew she had already lost her cool a few times tonight, especially with Natasha, and that wasn’t going to win her any points but she still really just needed you to hear what happened.
“Talk.” You muttered, standing in front of Wanda with your arms crossed, trying to appear as closed off from her as possible. Wanda felt that crack in her hopes and composure once more, but she shook it off for a second and took the opportunity you were giving her.
“Vision kissed me.” Wanda started. “I didn’t kiss him.”
You just rolled your eyes at that. One thing you knew for sure if you were to even consider believing Wanda was that you were going to need more explanation than that to make this all okay. Even then how stupid did Wanda take you for? Vision might have kissed her, but she wasn’t the one to pull back either.
“Mhm, and that still makes it okay how?”
“I didn’t kiss him!” Wanda exclaimed in frustration. “It wasn’t me who did that!”
“Yeah, but you didn’t stop him either did you?” Wanda’s patience wasn’t the only one’s who was running up. You already didn’t want to hear her excuses tonight and she was doing a horrible job at convincing you of tonight’s fiasco being about anything other than selfish actions by two people to hurt you.
“I was shocked,” Wanda sighed, knowing that she was sounding less convincing by the second, but still she wasn’t going to let this go. She wasn’t about to lose you. “He caught me off guard and it took me a minute to react. Didn’t you see me shove him away? Didn’t you see how angry I was?”
“Yeah, you only did that after you both realized I got there.” You scoffed.
“No,” Wanda shook her head adamantly. “No, I didn’t know you were there.”
“Sure.” You really weren’t buying any of this. Even if it was true that she wasn’t expecting the kiss, that she didn’t want it, there was something still nagging at you. “Why did you even leave me to go see him in the first place?”
“I just wanted a nice night,” Wanda offered. “He wanted to talk, so I agreed and thought after we could get on with our evening.”
“You left me alone for over thirty fucking minutes, Wanda!” All of these excuses Wanda was giving you felt like it was belittling the hurt you felt. You knew you hadn’t really let her talk long but you were already tired of hearing all of it. You were tired of this conversation and you were about done. “Why didn’t you even think to tell me it was him you were going to meet? Do you know how suspicious that looks?”
“I know, I know!” Wanda pleaded. “But there’s nothing going on between us. You have to believe me.”
“How?” You sneered. “How am I supposed to believe you? Obviously, there’s something going on. Otherwise he wouldn’t have kissed you.”
“(Y/N), there’s not and you know it. You’re just too angry to listen to reason.” Wanda took a step closer to you, trying her best to get through to you with as much patience as she could muster after this trying evening. “You just need to calm down and-”
“Don’t.” You seethed. “Don’t tell me what I need to do. What you need to do, Wanda, is leave. Now. I’m done talking for the night.” That was it, you had it for one evening. Wanda accusing your emotions of skewing your perspective may have been right but it wasn’t what you wanted to hear right now. You didn’t really want to hear anything, you didn’t even want to talk tonight but here you were. On your part, you thought you heard her out way more than she deserved for the night. Especially when you felt like you made it clear you didn’t have much interest in doing this tonight in the first place.
“I’m not leaving.” Wanda held her ground in front of you. You two just stayed there for a moment, staring. Your expression challenging her to back down, hers daring you to push her further. Your fists clenched and unclenched as you tried to figure out your next move and then it dawned on you. If she wasn’t going to leave you were. And since you were beyond hurt and angry, you knew you leaving her there alone to soak in the mess she made was perfect punishment for the pain she caused you.
Without a word you turned and started rushing around the room, gathering a few things you’d need for an overnight stay elsewhere. Wanda constantly questioned you as she watched you scurry around the room, but she didn’t stop you just yet. She had hope you’d stop and come to your senses before you got too far. All you did was dodge her questions and keep on moving. You hadn’t exactly figured out where you’d go for the night, but if she wasn’t going to leave you weren’t going to stay and you were pretty sure you’d figure out where to go once you actually got out away from Wanda. With clothes stuffed in your arms and your keys in hand, you thought the only good thing about this situation was the anger and shock had sobered you up very quickly. You had a few drinks at the party, but that isn't affecting you as much anymore. The one thing that might affect your driving was the threat of tears that might spill once you were completely alone. It was a risk worth taking, you told yourself, because one more moment next to Wanda and you were going to break down in front of her. That was still something you wanted to avoid.
You reached the door, your hands still full as you struggled to turn the knob and open it. In two quick strides Wanda was right behind you, her hand reaching in front of you to slam the door shut the minute you had it barely cracked. “Where the hell do you think you’re going?” She hissed through clenched teeth. Obviously, you hadn’t come to your senses in time so she realized she had to step in and stop you before you did something reckless.
“If you’re not going to leave, then I guess I will.” You turned slowly, trying to glare Wanda down and not show any sort of reaction to the anger burning in her eyes.
“Where will you go then, huh? To Nat’s?” Wanda practically spit Natasha’s name out her mouth as she spoke. “What so Vision kisses me and now you’re going to go fuck your buddy?”
Your eyes widened in shock at that. “What are you even talking about, Wanda?” You had always known Wanda was a jealous person and she was definitely not subtle about her disdain for Natasha, but you didn’t actually think she’d accuse you of that. Then again, you also didn’t think she’d cheat on you with Vision, but here you two were. “There’s nothing between me and Nat, but you’d think that wouldn’t you? Paranoid about us? Makes sense, if you’re seeing Vision behind my back of course you’d be worried I’d be doing the same thing with someone else.”
“I told you,” Wanda said through gritted teeth. “Vision kissed me. I am not with him.”
“Why didn’t you pull back? Why were you in his arms? It didn’t look like that!” You asked again, daring her to give you a better answer. Actually no, you didn’t want to give her another opportunity for a shitty excuse, you just really wanted to leave. It was just hard to actually do that when Wanda still had a firm hand on the door, keeping it shut as she cornered you between her arms. “Well, Wanda, you can go be with Vision. I don’t care! I don’t care who you fuck and you don’t have any right to care if I go out and fuck Natasha.” Not like you would, but at this point you just wanted her to feel the hurt you were feeling. “I’m leaving.”
“You’re not going anywhere.” Wanda’s voice wasn’t a yell anymore. It was low, dangerous, and threatening. You did manage to hurt her, but even worse, you managed to make her absolutely rage too. Wanda’s hands left the door and quickly went to either side of your waist, her nails digging into your skin through your shirt as she not so gently pushed you against the door. “Do I need to remind you that you’re mine?”
Your jaw clenched, your anger has already obviously gotten the better of you, but now it’s gotten the better of Wanda too. She got angry, sure, but she was always careful around you. She had good control of it, at least usually. She knew that if she went off around you it could scare you, and that was the last thing she wanted. So she reined it in for you, but now you were threatening to go be with someone else? She couldn’t have that. All of this started because of Vision and Wanda silently made a promise to herself to take care of him at a later date, but right now she needed you to understand just how badly you fucked up now. And as you watched Wanda seeth in front of you, you were beginning to regret those words.
“Wanda, you don’t just get to own me and go fuck around with Vision.”
“For the last fucking time I am not!” Wanda’s words echoed throughout the room. Her eyes swirled with red magic and you knew that was a sign that Wanda was very quickly losing any ounce of control she had left. The red in her eyes burned like fire as she stared you down. You felt her fingers dig harder into your skin as she held you and you could tell she was trembling at this point too. She was beyond control now as she had you pinned to the door. “And I do own you,” Wanda hissed before pressing herself fully to you.
You grunted at the feeling of her pressing you impossibly close to the door. Your hands went up to her shoulders to shove at them, to try to get her to back off, but it was like she didn’t even notice. Which, that would make sense considering you knew Wanda was much stronger than you. Wanda leaned in so close to you that you felt her breath ghost your lips and in any other moment you would’ve been weak at the knees, but with the way the look in her eyes was completely unhinged, her close proximity only made you gulp.
“I have never,” she put as much emphasis on each word as she spoke, “been with Vision since I met you.” Wanda was speaking in a whisper now, but you didn’t miss the way her lips twitched in anger. You also didn’t miss the way you felt Wanda pin you more with her body than her hands and then you realized it was her way of being able to move them freely without the risk of you running.
One of her hands moved up until she was gripping your chin while the other started to snake down your body. With her hold on you, you couldn’t look away even if you wanted to, but that wasn’t your main concern. Your main concern was the feeling of Wanda popping the button of your pants open. “Wanda…” This time all the anger left your voice and the only emotion it had in it was fear. This wasn’t something you wanted to happen with Wanda. She was always loving and gentle with you. You weren’t used to this side of her. Wanda had talked to you about the darker sides of her, but you never imagined you would see it full force, but now here you were. And you were honestly a little bit to blame. You pushed her buttons, you wanted to hurt her and hurt her you did. It should’ve been obvious that Wanda’s response to hurt wouldn’t be the best.
“You’re mine, (Y/N),” Wanda whispered before turning your chin with her hand, letting your neck be exposed to her. “But don’t worry… I’m yours too.” WIth that you felt Wanda’s teeth sink into your neck and the hands that were once trying to push her away grabbed fist fulls of her shirt.
“Wanda!” You tried to sound firm but your voice quivered as you spoke, obviously affected by the way Wanda’s teeth dragged down your skin, even if you didn’t want to be right now. You knew, you should probably try harder, but it was also Wanda and her touch always broke your resolve. Except, you were still hurting and not sure how much you believed Wanda even if she said she was yours, even if she said she wasn’t with Vision. You wanted to believe her, which might be why you weren’t exactly trying that hard to protest her touch, but then you felt her hand begin to slip into your panties and you knew you had to shut it down.
“Wanda, I don’t want this,” your voice was quiet, but firm. And that’s all it took for Wanda to utterly freeze. You both were breathing hard for a moment, Wanda’s body still pinning you to the door as you both stood there. As much as Wanda wanted to prove her point, stake her claim on you, she would never do it against your will. She lost herself and suddenly her blood ran cold as she took in just how badly she lost control. The thought of you being with someone else, that made her blood boil, but you not wanting to be hers anymore? That made her terrified.
You were the bright light in her life that she was missing for so long. You were someone Wanda was waiting for and she never even knew it. She had tried with Vision, had tried to make things work, but try as she might there was always something missing. That is, until you smiled at her, your eyes filled with nothing but innocent admiration for her. It took just one smile from you and suddenly Wanda’s whole world lit up. The thought of not having that anymore was unfathomable to her. You were the source of her happiness, the air she breathed, all Wanda knew since the moment she met you was, well, you. She couldn’t lose you, but she’d be damned if she ever actually hurt you. And fuck she came so close…
Wanda’s hands immediately moved, but they didn’t let go of you. This time they found their way back to your waist and her head moved back to look you in the eye again. Immediately, you knew you got through to her, but you also knew she was two seconds from breaking too. “I was not with Vision.” Wanda said this more firmly. No more anger in her voice, but still it was filled with utter conviction. “I wasn’t. I’m sorry that I… That I almost- but I wasn’t. I was not with Vision.”
“Okay,” you nodded, swallowing hard. “Okay.”
“I’m yours, I couldn’t be anyone else’s.” In that moment you really believed her. After all the anger had passed you could finally see it. Just as you couldn’t have fathomed Wanda doing something like that before you saw what you saw, she couldn’t fathom doing something like that to you either. “I. Am. Yours.”
“I know,” You whispered, your hands finally relaxing on her shoulders. “I believe you.”
Wanda sighed for a moment, but you could tell she was still waiting for something. She still had a tight grip on you and she wasn’t going to be letting go any time soon, but you knew it was out of fear this time and not anger. There were words she wanted to hear, but she had already pushed too much, already made a huge mess of things. The way she almost took what you weren’t willing to give, she couldn’t overstep again or she knew it wouldn’t end well for the both of you, if there still was something between the both of you.
“I’m yours too.” Wanda’s eyes searched yours as you spoke. She wanted to make sure this wasn’t said out of fear, especially considering how she was acting just moments ago, she wouldn’t be surprised if you were lying to protect yourself. But you weren’t, she could see it in your eyes. You looked sad, yes, but you weren’t scared when you said those words. Wanda didn’t need to read your mind to know that, not that she ever would. She might have lost control, but she would never violate you like that or in any other way, despite how close she had come. She still stopped when you said no, she still resisted the urge to read your thoughts when you were pushing back so hard.
Wanda took a deep breath. “I can’t lose you,” she said, her voice quiet as she spoke. Her head pressed against yours, unable to look into your eyes as she tried to get out her one request. “Please, don’t go to Natasha’s tonight.”
“I won’t,” You whispered, your hand reaching up to cup her cheek. “I’ll stay, okay?”
Wanda didn’t say anything, you just felt her nod before her lips pressed gently against yours. This kiss was filled with emotion, filled with love and longing. You knew she was trying to show you she wouldn’t hurt you again in the kiss, but you also knew she was struggling to hold back her need to confirm you were really hers. Your hands moved and wove into her hair and you pulled her body closer to yours yet again. You were still trapped between Wanda and the door, but this time you didn’t mind. The hands that had already popped the buttons of your pants open were still at your waist, but as the kiss deepened you felt them begin to drift back to where they once were. Only this time, you were more than happy to let Wanda’s hands roam.
“I’m so sorry I hurt you,” Wanda whispered against your lips.
“It’s okay,” You said between kisses. “It’s okay.” Your grip on her hair was tighter as the kiss shared between you two grew more desperate. There was an unspoken understanding of what Wanda needed and you’d be lying if you said you didn’t need it too. She needed to prove to you that you belonged to hers, and you needed her to touch you in a way you knew was only reserved for you.
Wanda’s hands slid straight into your panties and with the way she was kissing you and even the way her teeth marked your neck before, you were already wet for her. When Wanda’s fingers brushed against your clit to collect your wetness, she immediately felt that surge of pride and possession she got from touching you. She knew only she could have this part of you, only she could make you feel this way and touch you in this way. That fact alone had Wanda eager to take all you’d give.
Wanda’s lips moved to your neck once again and when you felt her teeth drag along your skin you couldn’t stop the quiet whine that left your lips. You were driving Wanda crazy and she already had so much possessive energy she needed to pour into you, so she didn’t waste any time. Without much warning, you feel Wanda slide her fingers down between your folds before two of them dipedp into you.
Your hands clench impossibly tighter into her hair and she didn’t hesitate to start a steady rhythm. It doesn’t take long for moans to fall from your lips and Wanda thinks they are music to her ears. She’s drunk off your reactions and off the way you clench around her fingers when she hits the spot she knows you love. All of this feels so much more intense after the night you two had, after Wanda almost lost you and after you thought Wanda wasn’t yours. Now you both know, there’s no one who could take you two away from each other. Wanda was yours and by some miracle you were still hers. Not Natasha’s, not anyone’s, only Wanda’s.
The thought of that spurred Wanda’s movements more, pumping her fingers harder into you. Your hands left her hair to steady yourself on her shoulders, your nails digging into her skin. It was getting difficult for you to stand up straight, what with the way Wanda was pressing her hips into yours with every pump of her fingers and how your pants and panties had both somehow fallen down your legs enough to give Wanda more ease in fucking you.
If Wanda was drunk off your reactions, you were absolutely lost in her touch. The way her fingers felt inside you, the way her tongue felt on your skin. You didn’t even mind that in the morning your neck would be covered with visible marks, the sting of her teeth sinking into your neck too tantalizing to care about much else in the moment. You felt that tight pull in the pit of your stomach that indicated you were fast approaching the edge, but Wanda wasn’t quite done yet.
“I want to feel you cum around my cock,” Wanda growled against your neck, her fingers pulling out without warning.
You were already too lost in your own pleasure to really realize anything she was saying but the minute you lost contact your confusion overtook you. “Wanda what? What do you- Fuck!” Wanda didn’t waste any time, magicking her pants away and a strap between her legs. It took her two seconds to line it up with your entrance and replace her fingers with it.
The back of your head hit the door the moment you felt her sheath it inside you. Eyes rolling to the back of your head as she ground herself into you to get herself as deep as possible. And then she hoisted up one of your legs, hooking it over her waist so her cock could go ever deeper inside you. The whole time, her iron grip and unwavering strength held you steady as she just pressed herself into you, enjoying the feeling of reaching deeper than she ever had before, deeper than you think you’ve ever taken anyone before. Wanda did that for a moment, enjoying the way your walls squeezed her cock. But then it wasn’t enough and with a growl she pulled out and started fucking you with abandon. You two had tried using a strap-on before, but this was definitely a new one. Wanda couldn’t help the pride she felt at your ease in taking all of her despite the size and the aggression in the way she was pumping herself inside you.
You didn’t think she’s ever fucked you like this. No, you knew this was new. She was always gentle, always making sure her touch was controlled and loving. This wasn’t the same, her touch was more possessive than it ever had been, all consuming. You had hit a nerve, you had threatened to not be hers, and now she needed to prove to you that you belonged to her, heart, mind, and especially body.
The sounds of your hips hitting the door with each time Wanda pushed her own into yours sounded all throughout the room. With each moment Wanda pushed into you she let out a groan and you understood that her magic somehow allowed her to feel everything she was doing. Her nails dug into the thigh that was hooked to her waist and her other flew to your throat, pressing down just enough to drive you wild but not enough to bring fear.
You, for the most part, were just trying to take Wanda’s cock in the best way you could, moaning her name, chanting fuck when she began to speed up. It was all overwhelming in the best way and you knew Wanda could feel your thighs shake as she drew you closer to the edge.
“Fuck, you feel good.” Wanda grunted in your ear as she continued to pump her cock into you. “So fucking good. Fuck fuck!” Wanda’s pace became erratic and the hand that was pressed to your throat flexed as she avoided temptation to press down harder.
All you could do was moan as your hands grabbed at Wanda to keep yourself upright. You could tell by the force of Wanda’s hips pushing into yours that you’d have bruises, but you couldn’t begin to care with how good it felt to have Wanda’s cock buried in you.
“I’m going to cum,” Wanda groaned. “Fuck, I want to fill you with my cum.” Wanda’s cock slammed into you and you could tell by her trembling body that she was incredibly close. “I’m going to cum inside you.”
As Wanda kept fucking herself inside you came out of your haze just slightly to question what she meant. Curious if it was something said at the heat of the moment or something Wanda actually meant. “Wanda what do you mean- oh fuck.” And suddenly you got your answer. Wanda cried out and you felt hot spurts of Wanda’s cum fill you from the inside. As her faux cock still moved inside you, you felt her continue to fuck her cum deeper inside you and the sensation was too much for you to take, you yourself falling apart on her cock just seconds after.
Wanda slumped forward, her forehead pressed to yours as you both tried to catch your breath. You felt her cum drip down your thigh when Wanda finally let your leg fall from her waist, but you weren’t recovered enough to move from the door and clean yourself up yet.
“You’re mine,” Wanda whispered before pressing a soft kiss to your lips. “Don’t ever forget that.”

I have a theory.
I'm rewatching The Solitary Clone, because the silence around Commander Cody's location is fucking deafening at this point and I need to get my hit somehow, and I have a theory.
I think Cody specifically asked for Crosshair because he was hoping Crosshair would come with him when he left.
There's a few reasons for this, but I'll stick to the main points.
To me, Cody doesn't seem conflicted between his orders and doing what's right - he chooses the peaceful route with no hesitation, even when faced with civilians. And when ordered to kill the Governor, it's not even hesitation, he doesn't even look at his rifle. And they phrase what the Imperial Governor says very carefully 'That is your order! Follow it, or face the consequences!' Follow your orders. And he doesn't even pretend to consider it. Cody already knows that orders from the Empire are wrong.
And then, almost no time at all seems to pass between when they get back and Cody is reported as AWOL. As much as I like the idea of Cody just saying 'fuck it' and walking out the front door, I imagine he'd take the time to plan. So, it's reasonable to assume that by the time he specifically requests Crosshair, he's already got a plan to get out in his pocket.
But more than that, to me it's the structure of his conversation with Crosshair when they first meet.
Cody is the one who brings up the rest of Clone Force 99, not accusatory, but seemingly curious about them going AWOL. He then says he's not surprised - again, very much not an accusation.
Crosshair points out, with a small element of defensiveness, that regs have gone AWOL too.
And Cody replies, looking at the memorial of his dead brothers, 'Rumours are, more and more clones have been questioning the Order'.
It's a careful statement, and it's a question. He's asking Crosshair, what do you think about this? Is it worth it? Do you agree?
And when Crosshair replies, 'Then they are traitors, like the jedi', the look - the look on Cody's face. I know people have discussed it around Cody's complicated feelings around what he did by participating in Order 66, but -
That look is pure disappointment.
He'd wanted some sign that Crosshair was also having doubts. He wanted to take his friend, brother, with him when he escaped.
But Crosshair told him no, and let him down, and left Cody feeling helpless as he made the decision to abandon another brother.

hi, there! :D I hope to be on time for the event can I request :
(Finding a confession letter in your locker) With Silver, Jade and Deuce? Plz
Tumblr media
22. Finding a confession letter in your locker
Hi hi you are very much on time of course you can (^ワ^)
Also just letting you know here, I did get your other request and do not mind answering it at all (though i am going to post some other ones first), in my og post I mentioned the prompts were limited by ask, so you submitted everything correctly, don't worry!
notes: they/them pronouns used for Yuu, fluff, Jade is a red flag as usual. Check out the rest of the event requests here.
Tumblr media
Silver
There is an unfairly pretty looking man asleep in front of the gym lockers, face down, arms at his side, but with the light still hitting his hair just right way to make him look like he has a halo. You know that Silver won't be upset if you try to wake him, but as you kneel to do so, the slight creak of an unkempt hinge draws your attention up from your sleeping senior to your own slightly open locker.
Weird, you could have sworn you locked it at the end of class.
"Silver?" You decide to try calling out to him while you examine your locker for any sign of tampering beyond the obvious. "You good down there?" Nothing seems to have been taken, but something has been left: a letter. Gingerly, you remove and settle yourself on the floor next to Silver, gently shaking him as you open it.
Yuu,
I'm afraid that if I try to simply say to you how I feel, I won't be able to fully convey just how grateful I am to have met you, just how much you mean to me. But I want to try and give you a confession you deserve so please, meet me in the courtyard after your classes. I promise to say the words to you then.
-Silver
"I wasn't supposed to still be here when you read that." A muffled voice draws your attention back to Silver, who slowly pushes himself up to look into your eyes. "But since I am, I like you prefect." The words are simple, but the sincerity of his gaze adds the weight he was so afraid of missing.
Jade
You were screwed. The instant you saw the condition of the letter inside that lavender envelope you knew it was never meant to be seen, least of all by the person it was addressed to. The paper was hastily torn from a composition book, crumpled and lightly stained with what you assume from the scent is tea. No, you can't really picture someone as collected as Jade allowing the messy parts of his thoughts to be seen
You are a mystery I want to unravel
I never get tired of your voice
I want to be the first person they think of in the morning and the last thing they imagine at night. When they are alone I want them to long to return to my side, when someone hurts them I want to be the one who repays their enemies in kind. There is a word for these emotions, something that's as wonderfully unpredictable as it is painful-
A head rests on your shoulder, two strong arms pull you into an embrace that prevents you from seeing his face as a deep sigh tickles your ear, reciting from memory the destroyed portion of the letter-
"That word is love, I am in love with Yuu." Jade smiles into your neck as you shudder in surprise. "Since you are not attempting to run away, can I assume I have something of a chance?"
Deuce
"Is it just me or is Juice acting weird today?" Ace asks, slacking off away from Vargas's watchful eyes behind you and Grim. Not that you haven't noticed, but now that Ace mentions it- "I mean he's sneaking out of class, isn't PE the one he's actually good at?" You both look pointedly towards the lockers Deuce is not so sneakily heading towards with concern.
"Um, I'll be right back." You try to hide your concern but the judgmental faces that see you off suggest you aren't exactly successful. Deuce's broad shoulders disappear into the hallway and you attempt to calmly follow. Maybe he's sick? Or has forgot something? You run through so many scenarios that you fail to pay attention to where you are going and walk right into your target's back.
"Prefect!" Deuce jumps and you fluster, both of you look away from each other to the locker Duece had been standing in front of. "I'm sorry." He looks so embarrassed. You reach to open your locker as Deuce continues. "I really am sorry, it's just I thought really hard about the right way to confess but we have almost every class together..." Sure enough there's a letter sat neatly on top of your things, sealed with a neat spade sticker that leaves little doubt about who it's from.
"Technically you just did." You laugh and bring the letter close to your heart. "Meet me at Ramshackle after school."
"Why?" He asks, clearly nervous.
"Well you wanted to properly confess right? So let me properly answer." Technically the smile on your face already does.

“you can’t scare me like that, okay?” w mike schmidt <3? love ur work!
thank u!!! <333 | part of v’s 800 follower celebration!
when mike's call goes to voicemail, he doesn't mind. you're probably busy. maybe you didn't hear the ringing of your phone over the noise of something else.
when you don't call back, mike finds his mind start to wonder. did he do something wrong? do you not like him anymore?
when the clock hits six p.m., mike tries again. he hears the line ring for what seems like hours. this is unusual - the longest you've taken to pick up is three rings at most.
mike knows your schedule better than his. he knows you're sitting in your kitchen right now, thinking of what to put together for dinner. even if you left your phone somewhere, you would still hear the landline. so, mike tries again. one more time.
nothing.
now he worries about being overbearing. he hopes he's not annoying you, but he knows deeps down you're not the type to shy away from a conversation if you did happen to have an issue. it's unlike you.
this is unlike you.
mike is beginning to worry when it's ten p.m. and he still hasn't heard from you. he's found that he hasn't relaxed all afternoon, realized how important your presence (even if it's just the sound of your voice) is to his daily routine. mike feels a little ridiculous, depending on you so much, mind spinning between worried about coming off as clingy and simply worried about you.
he can't stand it by twelve, his heart thumping wildly and his imagination assuming the worst. he's gone through a million possible scenarios in his head, thousands of excuses. none of them fit quite right and mike is beginning to think back to a childhood memory that's haunted him for years.
he's off before he can really think about it, quiet enough not to wake abby but keeping a hasty pace. he's in his car, he's a little too much over the speed limit, he's in front of your door. mike is even more hesitant now that he's here. what if you were just avoiding him? was he making things worse?
mike decides it's worth the risk to knock. it's strong, but no other sounds in the quiet neighborhood follow. mike is about to give up after a few too many moments of silence when he finally hears footsteps.
mike perks up as the door opens and he finally sees you. mike doesn't care if you don't want anything to do with him; he hugs you immediately.
mike's sure you're confused, but you hug him back immediately. at least there's a good sign.
mike feels a little silly as he parts, looking at the clear confusion on your face.
"what's wrong?" you ask innocently, immediately erasing all of mike's worries.
"i thought..." mike shakes his head. "nothing."
"no, tell me," you insist, grabbing mike and dragging him inside. your home is dark; you obviously had gone straight to the door as soon as you'd heard it.
"i just thought... something might've happened." mike's voice shakes a little, his fears suddenly pressing on his chest. mike watches your eyes soften and he wills his emotions not to show so obviously on his face. "you can't scare me like that, okay?"
"i'm sorry," you say sincerely, taking mike's hands in yours. "i was just exhausted after work-"
mike shakes his head. "no, don't apologize for that. i was just kinda worried."
if mike is completely honest, he's a little embarrassed. he'd never thought he'd be the type to need so much reassurance. he didn't want to be clingy.
"i won't take naps like that again," you pull mike into another hug.
"oh, don't do that. just... call me whenever you wake up."
"what if i don't wake up until two in the morning?" you smile.
"then you call me at two in the morning." mike grins, kissing your cheek. "i should go."
"you can stay. it's the least i can do after neglecting you."
"okay," mike scoffs with a smile, shaking his head. "i wasn't totally helpless."
"no, you just missed me," you coo, letting mike cup your face in his hands.
he laughs before he leans in to place a soft kiss on your lips.
"yeah, i really did."

Breathe me in
Tumblr media
requested: Can you please write a story where Azriel saves reader from drowning. +I added a little mission and reader being a badass.
warning: drowning, blood, injuries.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
As you made your way through the never-ending wall of rain, you started to wonder why all of you insisted that it was a great idea to continue the mission Rhys had given you today. The high lord warned you about the potential storm, and even if he didn't, you only needed to give the sky a look to know that it was bad news. But you went on with it, and now that your clothes were fully drenched, you wondered why you agreed after all.
Cassian was way ahead with Nesta. Even if the rule was to keep the Illyrian wings glamoured at all times, the general still had his wing stretched over his mate. Somewhat protecting her from the wind and shower. Azriel offered the same thing to you, but you refused it instantly. Even if it was silly. You liked him too much, and sitting so close to him felt too intimate, even if his body warmth would keep your teeth from clacking against each other. Sometimes you wondered if there was a possibility that he liked you too. You have known him for some time now. The girls constantly told you that you were just oblivious to the signs, but all of his gestures always seemed friendly, never like something more. You pulled yourself out of your head the moment your horse came to a halt.
"What's wrong, boy?", you asked softly, even if you could name at least five things that were wrong at this particular moment. You rubbed the mount's neck, trying to see ahead. Your heart sank a little when your eyes didn't land on the shadow of Nesta and Cass in front of you or Azriel, who at all times kept to your left. "Guys!", you shouted worryingly, yet your voice died down. Washed away by the sound of rain. "Azriel", your heart started to beat faster with every passing second, "If you are just messing with me, it's not funny."
Yet you knew they wouldn't do that. Especially not now. But you needed to give yourself something. Anything before you lost yourself to the panic. You gently nudged the horse to move forward again. The shield of water only seemed to increase, completely blocking your view of what was around you. You tried to scream out for your friends again, but it got you nowhere. Only resulting in more and more frustration. You were about to scream for Azriel once again when someone launched full force into your side, sending you out of the saddle and onto the dirty ground.
Your head hit the surface, making your vision blur for a moment. Just enough to see your horse disappearing into the distance, startled by the attack. Attack. You tried to turn your head to the side, seeing a group of what you assumed to be males standing over you. One of them kneeled closer to you. Even from under the hood, you could see his smug face. Unfortunately for him, you didn't love when people looked at you like that, so you quickly inched your leg up, and kicked it right at his face.
That would have given you the upper hand to escape, but you only got a couple of feet from them, before multiple sets of hands snatched you once again, followed by the blade to your neck, "You pull any more stunts and I'll gut you from the inside out." You squirmed in their hold anyway. You were not going to go down without a fight. But your attempts got cut short when someone launched another blow to the back of your head, and everything went black.
Azriel was both: worried and slightly pissed when you refused to ride with him. Firstly, he didn't want you to get sick. And your "I'm a big girl" attitude was getting on his nerves slightly, especially when your health was involved. And secondly, he selfishly wanted to hold you close to him. Have a reason to do so. He just wanted to feel his warmth surrounding you. To know at any given moment you were safe. This rain clouded his senses as well. He felt more distressed and uneasy, so trying to ensure that all of you were safe was a task in itself.
The shadow singer turned his head your way. He tried to limit those glances at you because he knew that every one of them was edging you closer and closer to snapping at him for being too overprotective. But when his eyes didn't fall on your frame, his heart nearly stopped. Azriel turns his head to look behind him, hoping that you had just fallen behind the group, but no. No sign of you. The spymaster shouted for Cassian to stop. Riding back a little as he called your name frantically, "Where the fuck are you?", he mutters under his breath. "Let's go further back, maybe she got separated," but then the darker shadow inches closer, and Azriel pulls out his truth-teller. It was a horse. And Azriel almost wanted to let out a breath of relief until he saw an empty saddle. His shadows swirling around it. All the color drained from his face as the spymaster turned to the general, "She got attacked. They've got her."
You're thankful that they at least dragged you to what you believed was their camp. That sheltered you from the rain, and even if your wet clothes didn't fully let your body warm up, it was better than nothing. Your hands were chained in front of you, alongside your legs. With the right amount of motivation, you could probably escape but this was the male you were sent after.
"Pretty poor look for the thief lord if you'd ask me", you snarled as the male, who you assumed was in the lead of this group, stepped into the room. A few of his men inched closer, but he brushed them away. "My apologies that it doesn't meet your standards, my lady," he says as he reaches for your face, but you move your face out of his reach, "I'd rather entertain rats than you."
The thief lord grits his teeth as he falls to the chair directly opposite you. "You're full of yourself. What makes you feel like I won't just chop you to pieces?", you let out a bitter laugh before gazing right at him. "Ever heard of a shadow singer? The spymaster of the night court?", you drag your words out like a melody. The male's face pales slightly. Of course, he had. Was there a soul on this earth that didn't know of his cruel ways? "Well, I know that if something happens to me here, he will drain your body dry, and enjoy every second of it." Now it's his turn to laugh, yet you can feel the fear lingering deep down.
"I know you've been tracking me down," "Oh, look, you are aware of some things," you tease back, but that earns you a slap on your face, even if it's not the hardest of punches. The rings with rubies and other stones make quite a mark on your face. "Listen to me, you little bitch; you answer my questions now, and I have many." Taking a fistful of your hair, he lifts your head, and you can feel the blood running down your cheek. "Let's start with what your high lord wants with me", "You're wasting your questions. Cause you already know the answer, and if you don't, you are an absolute fool", another slap, and this time it's your neck his fingers move to.
"Where are the others who came with you?" His voice was firm, but you couldn't help yourself from grinning. "Dancing on your grave." The male lets out a frustrated growl before turning away from you. At this moment, you knew one thing and one thing only. You needed to drag this out as long as you possibly could. To give Azriel enough time to find you because he was going to find you. He always did. Even if the world was falling to pieces, he would find you. "Bring her to the shore," the lord barked out after making up his mind. A shiver ran down your back, "We're going to use some of the older methods."
The rain outside had lessened, yet the drops fell colder somehow. At the sound of the water running, it hits you. This explains the enormous fog. There's a huge river here. Two of the thieves have a firm grip on you as they push down on your knees. The sharp rocks and pebbles cut into your skin. "How do you feel about a little dive?", the lord asks you, smirking sheepishly. "All in if you join me," you bite back, but the male just points a finger, and your face is under the icy water in the blink of an eye. Considering that that came as a surprise, you barely got any air, causing you to trash in the holds of the two males as you tried to lift your head.
When they finally do, you are gasping for air, feeling as if you were on fire. The stinging in your head from the icy cold water causes your head to pump. "Now you get the rules. If you answer incorrectly, you will go down under. The more I don't like your answer, the longer you will be in the water," he says, yet now all you care about is that you are out in the open, which gives your friends an easier opportunity to find you. "So, what does Rhys know about the rubies?", the thief lord brushes some of the wet hair away from your face, but with one crooked smile, you spit right at his face, "Suck your own dick", you bark out and you know what's coming next.  Yet it's not even a slight bit less shocking. The feeling of someone firmly pressing your face in the running water. The tide of the water made it hard to keep any oxygen in your lungs since the water seemed to pour into your nose. Then you're dragged back out, gagging up the water in your system.
"I'm giving you one last chance to redeem yourself, pretty face," his fingers tangle in between your hair as he turns you his way. "What does he know?", "That you don't have them," the thief lord's face shifts. Confusion is all over it. "Sorry, I'll make it more understandable for your dumb brain. You left them alone in the camp without supervision and came here to have fun with me," rage fills his eyes as he orders his men to return to the camp, "You will pay for this, cunt." His pushing you under feels different, and you can tell that he is not messing around. Your face is practically hitting the bottom rocks as he keeps your head in the water. However, his other hand comes to your neck, and he presses so hard that you can't help but open your mouth as you let all the air out of your lungs, letting the water pour in. You start to thrash around as the fear of actually dying runs through your brain. Ultimate panic sets in, and all of your logic senses turn off.
Nesta had the rubies as she darted away from the camp, and Azriel takes to the skies alongside Cassian. The plan wasn't like this, but the moment they stormed the camp and found your handprint on the box, they knew exactly what it was and that you had left a clue for them, knowing full well that they were going to find you. The feeling in Azriel's chest was telling him that something was seriously wrong, and when his shadows came screaming at him about the water, he went into full madness mode. The sight of your head under the water and the thief lord holding you down practically made him want to roar. Cassian was the first to throw a dagger that pierced through the male's right arm. He let go of you partially, but your head stayed under. The moment he sees the two males, he drags your body up before holding you in front of himself and using you as a shield.
You let out a tiny gasp but then slumped in his arms. Azriel was seeing red, but pulling out weapons now was dangerous. "You make a move, and I'll drop her into the river", the thief lord threatened. "You've lost Albert; hand her over, and you might walk out of this alive," Cassian said in a warning tone. He was well aware that Azriel was in a primal male form now. Primal mate form. Knowing very well that the bond had snapped for Azriel a while back, his brother just kept it a secret, knowing that he was as stupid as you and had convinced himself that you felt nothing for him in return.
"What is my gain? I walk out of this alive, and Hybern will kill me for the rubies", the lord steps closer to the edge, "She's your girl isn't she?", the male nods his head towards Azriel. The spymaster's jaw nearly splits in half. "She promised me a slow death from you if she gets hurt", "I will make you regret that you were born", Azriel snarls through gritted teeth, but the lord only laughs, turning his face to you. He shakes your body a little, pushing two things down your throat, and you almost immediately choke out the water that's been in your lugs, saying, "Here you are; you were missing all the fun." Albert presses his face into your neck as you still gulp down the air. Eyes falling on Azriel, and he's practically falling to his knees at how small and pale you look. But at least you're breathing. That's all he needs to know now.
"I'm sad I didn't have more time with her; I'm sure she'd be capable of a lot," the male kisses your neck, and this time Azriel tosses the dagger right between his eyes, but it misses the lord. The male spins you out of his arms and into the freezing river as the tide takes you down the river lane.
The sensation of water dragging you down makes your skin burn. You tried to pull yourself out, but every little breath you managed to take in was met with yet another wave crashing down on you. But you crawl your way back up; you need to. For Azriel, you need to tell him. You can't die without letting him know. You manage to keep your hands above the water as another wave moves over your hand, and that's when you feel it. Warm fingers are wrapped around your wrist, and then you're out of the water and up in the air. Azriel had caught on to you while soaring over the river. "Hang tight," he whispers as his other hand clasped over your second wrist. You could almost cry at the feeling of him being there as he lowers you to the grass.
You got the rest of the water out of your system, and before you can even get a breath in, Azriel's arms are around your body as he presses you closer to him. You can hear his heart beating under your ear. It's racing so fast. So fast that this can't be healthy. You pull away from him slightly, "I knew you would come", the spymaster shakes his head. Eyes falling over the cuts on your cheek. "I thought I lost you. Multiple times," "You saved me, Az."
The spymaster notices your shaking frame and carefully lets go of you before ripping his jacket open and wrapping it over you, pulling you close to him once again. Your ice-cold skin melted into his warmth. "You get yourself sick," you mumble, causing Azriel to snort, "I will get sick? You've been under that water all this time, and you're worried about me being sick?"
With a couple of breaths, Azriel scoops you up into his arms before he moves to go back to Cassian. "I would have never forgiven myself if you were to die," the spymaster says, looking ahead of himself, "But you would find another best friend to replace me with." You rasp out, your throat feeling achy already. Azriel tightens his grip on your body. "I would send out a whole army to find you because, without you, I don't have a purpose in this life," he whispers under his breath, and your icy fingers cup his cheek slightly. "I had a feeling, just wanted to make sure. Why do you think I threatened that fuck with you?". Azriel lets out a breathy chuckle, resting his head over yours for a moment. He's hoping his body heat will be enough to keep you warm till you all get to safety. "Remind me to tell you that I'm really in love with you if I make it," you mumbled softly, your eyes starting to feel heavy. "Oh, you will make it. I will make sure that you do."

Casting Love 0.10 - Hope That Helps <3
The walk to his place was quiet. You both end up in one of the fancier apartment buildings near campus, not one of the much less impressive dorm buildings you had assumed. The moment you guys entered the building, you sent your location to Hajime, promising you would inform him of the specific room once you both got to it.
Kenma kept walking to one of the elevators, swiping a card and in response an arrow above the elevator lit up. It didn't take long for the elevator to reach the main level and for the two of you to enter it. Kenma hit the 7 and then the close door button, which you silently laughed at.
"People like to jump in them without swiping their cards, it'd be easy for someone to get in." Kenma explained with a frown. Though, from his expression there was clearly more to it.
The elevator dinged, having arrived to the seventh floor. You both exited and turned right from the elevator. Kenma pulled out the card again and used it to unlock the apartment door. He held the door open for you before stepping in himself. Immediately, you notice a group of guys around your age huddled in the living room. They were whispering very loudly.
"Guys is that his partner???"
"I think so! Do you think they like volleyball???"
"We can hear you." Kenma rolls his eyes, closing the door loudly. The group scatters with a yelp. There was some awkward silence before one of the guys stands up and offers you his hand.
"Hi, I'm Kuroo."
You shake his hand with a smile and introduce yourself. Following his lead, the rest of the guys run over and introduce themselves.
"Hi!! My name is Bokuto! It's really nice to meet you!!"
His handshake was a little more intese than Kuroo's had been, but you smile. "Hi Bokuto, nice to meet you too."
"I'm Hinata Shoyo! Do you like volleyball?"
"Hello Hinata! I don't really know much about volleyball, but I think it's interesting."
"Akaashi. You had Mr. Fukuzawa last semester, right?"
"I did! Nice to see you again."
"Kageyama Tobio. If you want to know more about volleyball I can tell you more than Hinata."
Before you could even respond, Hinata launches himself at Kageyama. The rest of the group didn't even react, showing this was normal.
"It's nice to meet you all! I hope I'm not intruding at all with your guys' time."
"Not at all, you're alright." Kuroo waves you off while casually prying Hinata off of Kageyama. "Kenma mentioned you wanted to use us as a way to see how your website is going, so whenever you need us just let us know."
"Okay, thank you!" You bowed before turning to Kenma who already grabbed out his laptop and put it on the counter.
"Give me your laptop, I'll sign you into the Wi-Fi." He held his hand out. You scrambled to get your laptop out of your bag before opening it, signing in, and handing it over to him. Kenma said nothing else as he signed you into their Wi-Fi and then slid it to where you were standing.
"Do you have any ideas of what you want to make our business about?" You asked, sitting down.
"...I have one idea, but you can say no."
"Go ahead!"
"How about items that can help those who haven't met their soulmates? Like... specific products proven to cover up marks, I know some places don't like having people with very visible marks work. And I know sometimes foundation doesn't work for people. Or, colored lenses with those who are color blind with their soulmate link."
"That could be cool! I also think it'd be cute where if when they find their soulmate they could get a little care package since they won't need the products anymore." you added while opening up a website maker.
"I don't know how well that'd work for an actual business..." Kenma muttered off. You simply shrugged.
"Are there any colors you wanna use?"
"...I like orange."
"Orange is nice! I think it'd also be nice to use maybe red and yellow? So it's kind of like a sunrise? Like they're rising into living even if before they felt like all they needed to do was find their soulmate?"
Kenma gave a small nod. You smiled.
"Then let's get started!"
Tumblr media
You guys spent a little over three hours working on the website, with occasional breaks to get feedback from Kenma's friends who happily did so.
Despite having finished with what you guys wanted to do so far, they invited you to stay to eat dinner with them since your original cafe plans had been ruined. It was around 8 pm when you decided it was time to leave.
"Thank you again for the dinner. I'll see you tomorrow in class. Make sure to let me know if you think of anything to add to the website!"
"Okay, see you then."

I wasn't sure how much apartment time I wanted to give, but decided that I had written enough so that's all you get <3
Hinata and Kageyama totally tried sharing as much volleyball info they could to try and prove who was better and when YN left, asked for them to pick who did it better and to be nice they said it was a tie (Hinata cried)
We ignore how long this took
Also Iwa had been asking for several updates while they were gone and had a timer set each time in case the response took too long and he was just gonna go there
Also also, to get in without someone who owns the apartment they literally just have to be like yo I'm besties with someone who lives here and say which room and the name of the person and the worker let's them in

"About last night"
It's a 3 minute conversation and there is SO MUCH happening. There are so many details in body language, facial expressions and tone. Amazing amazing job done by Jimmy and Sea omg. I'm singing their highest praises. I wanted to write something about it, and this turned into a written portrayal plus some added thoughts. To relive the scene, but in a slightly different way.
Tumblr media
Mhok enters the car and Day's eyes nervously flicker. A parallel to the first scene of this episode. The tension can be cut with a knife, but this time they're going to talk.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In unison they open up the topic and Day takes it away: "I've thought about it." As he's talking we see the tension in Mhok's chest, his eyes wide open, fixated on Day. A second later he releases his breath and shoulders and smiles. All soft he goes: "I've thought about it too."
Tumblr media
Day shuts his eyes and squints his face. Knowing what he wants to say but finding it difficult to. Ofcourse, because what are the implications of this?
Mhok is his caregiver and though Day doesn't return Mhok's feelings, he doesn't want to lose him. He likes Mhok, trusts him like he does no other person and all of that is on the line now.
How is Mhok going to react to the rejection, can they move forward and still be the same they always were or does he need to start looking for a new caregiver? That's a lot of insecurities right there.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And he blurts it out: "I'm sorry Phi, but you are not my type." The tension still in his face after he said it. A deep breath out, a swallow, his eyes blinking rapidly. How is Mhok going to react?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And Mhok, Mhok needs a moment to process. This hurts. He bites his lip, his brows furrowed. But his face softens as he nods and accepts the rejection: "I figured."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The tension is still palpable as Mhok looks at Day and says: "I just wanted you to know how I feel about you." Day's eyes go back and forth, processing what Mhok said. And then the question follows. "Did you think we could be the same if I knew it?"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Again, Mhok needs a moment. What is the best thing to say here? This must mean that Day is uncomfortable and doesn't want him around anymore, right? Just like everyone else, right?
And he makes a decision: "Okay, I'll quit."
Not asking Day what he wants, but assuming he's not wanted around anymore. Like so many times before.
"Don't worry about it Day." An attempt to make Day feel comfortable, assuring him it's okay.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But this isn't what Day wanted. And Day is quick to let Mhok now. Firmly he says: "Hey. Though I don't have feelings for you, I still want to have you here..." and his voice trails off "...na." Once again choosing Mhok, keeping him by his side.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mhok blinks, his face full of confusion as he looks at Day and smiles with disbelief and hope: "What do you mean?"
"I mean as my caretaker", Day stutters, quick to not let Mhok assume anything else. Mhok now turns his body toward Day, listening and watching intently. And Day continues: "If you can just act the same, I won't have a problem with that." His voice trails off again: "I guess."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
More processing for Mhok. His eyes move back and forth, a finger pressed against his upper lip. "So... if I can do that, I'll get to continue taking care of you." Now using his finger to accentuate his words. "Right?"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Right, but...", Day puts down a boundary, "if you cross the line and hit on me, you're fired." Instant smile on Mhok's face. And he laughs, relieved. "I get it now, sir."
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"I'm serious." Day says. Needing to make sure Mhork really understands. "Yeah, I know", Mhok replies, still with a smile on his face. The relief visible in his entire body.
After this Mhok buckles Day up and there's some more details to be seen, but the part that really got me was the whole convo previous to it, so I'm going to leave it at this.
Mhok is happy and back to his teasing self. He continues to tease Day and find the exact boundaries throughout the rest of the episode and I love that. There certainly have been signs of Day's attraction to Mhok and I think Mhok realized there still was a chance but was also careful not to push too far.
I love them, I adore them. I adore this show in it's entirety.

all of us are dead — jang woo-jin “barriers”
contents : cringe, cliché(?)
a/n: requested by, anon [ hello can i req a jealous jang woojin x reader 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀 ty ] HAH THIS HAS BEEN IN THE DRAFTS I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG LOL
Tumblr media
“Hey. Who was that?”
He tries to act cool, walking beside you as he looks at the direction of the guy who tried to act familiar with you—his words, not mine. Eyeing the boy like a predator despite him already walking away.
You scoffed, brushing off his arms that lays on your shoulder with a teasing tone, “and why do you care?”
Tumblr media
“I asked first.”
“And I asked second.”
“I'm still first.” There is a cheeky grin on his face but it didn't reached his eyes, a hurtful look then flickered for a minute before they disappear like a flicker of a light. Woo-jin took a step forward with a smug grin present on his face that makes you have the drive to somehow—crush that smirk off.
Raising a brow at his somewhat interest, you answered with a huff. “It was just someone from the other class.”
“Why did he approached you then?” Woo-jin bites back the words that should've followed, watching as you blinked at him owlishly, what does he want with you? surely he didn't confessed, right? He sees you cross your arms over your chest, cocking your head to the side with a slight grin.
Oh no-
“He just asked for my helped for the upcoming class collaboration.”
Oh.
Woo-jin blinked.
He felt so stupid assuming things but how can he help it? You're likeable—especially in his eyes so how can he not like you? Woo-jin blinks, staring at the place that the boy went out before glancing back at you. There's something soft with how his smile turned softer.
It is unlike the ones he would shoot you, that boyish grin of his that looks stupid.
Now he looks more stupid.
And yet, that made your heart skip a beat at the sight only for you to internally beat yourself up for thinking such things.
"Why.. why the hell do you look relieved?" Came out of your mouth, straightforward and blunt, a tone of confusion seeping in as you can't help but think. Why?
Woo-jin spluttered a cough at your words, hitting his chest in repeat as he choked in his own spit. "M-me?! Relieved?" His eyes were blown wide akin to saucers.
"It's not that..!" He defended himself, "I was just wondering if you're really that reliable for him to pick you to help him." And like a child, he took out his tongue while pulling his eyelid which is a kid's universal sign of disrespect.
"Why you!" You gasped at his childish behavior, reaching to pinch him only for his swift lithe hands to capture your own.
"Nuh-uh!" "Oi, let go! You stupid—"
"Who are you calling stupid?" He retorts, taking both of your wrists as he dodges your pinches. "You! You son of a—!" When you couldn't hit him, you settled for hitting him by the shin with your feet, raising it to kick him playfully.
There's laughter all around as the two of you pick on each other, a usual occurrence in your friendship that the both of you had come and learnt to love and do. The playful quarrel and mischievous shenanigans that the both of you act.
It's pleasant.
But why does his eyes twinkle so much with affection as he looks at you, despite those boyish grin of his, the crinkles on his eyes softens every now and then.
Your foot hits his knee as he hissed, letting out a small pained cry as he crumbles to the ground like a kid deprived of cookies from the jar. "Gah!"
"Damn you hit me too hard.." He murmured, head bowed as he clutched his knee. You follow, frantic and panicking, his hold on one of your wrists still firm but tender. It's like he doesn't want to hurt you.
Hands not knowing what to do as you watch him, "It- Wait I didn't mean to do it that harsh!" You try to defend yourself, kneeling before him as you reach for his knee delicately, afraid that you'll hurt him further.
"Kidding!" Woo-jin exclaimed, craning his neck to look at you only to freeze.
The proximity is too close.
One move could make the two of you..
One.
His eyes that's trained on yours, unblinking, briefly glanced at your lips. You could see how his adam apple bob, like there is something stuck inside his throat. But you aren't fairing any better with how your whole body freeze.
Two.
"You.." his lips move, the voice barely audible if not for the closeness that you both share.
"Why won't you pull away..?" He whispers, still watching you.
The two of you were stuck in the moment, time seemingly freezing in place like how the two of you are focused towards each other. "Well, why aren't you..?" You turned his question back on him.
For there is no way that you'll be able to answer that. Not without spilling the thoughts you've always had inside your head. One that can ruin what the both of you share, this friendship that both of you are content with.
But is he truly?
Three.
He sighs through his nose, eyes still on you as his fingers that's holding you, twitch. "Because.."
Without warning, he gathers his thoughts and faces reality, taking the opportunity he was blessed with. Hand pulling you down to press your lips against his.
Soft.
Woo-jin's lips are chapped, yet the softness of it overwhelms you.
The way his other arm snakes to pull you by the back of your neck, the desperate feelings he has for you leaks from his actions.
Was this how kiss always felt? You don't know, but the chemistry doesn't fail.
And before you knew it, it was over.
"I don't want you being with him. Even if it's helping him." He murmurs, not pulling away completely. His forehead pressed against yours oh so sweetly. Beneath those eyes were intensity, the genuine and raw emotion came spilling out as soon as he built up his confidence.
"I don't like it."
Woo-jin.. just ruined the barriers that bounds you two as friends.

Waiting for you
✿❀ Clarisse La Rue x Reader ✿❀
you find peace in your troubled relationship one night with someone you never thought you would.
considering breaking up with your boyfriend, you go walking one night, to the docks, your safespace, unknowingly someone joins you and helps you diecide what to do.
✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿
As you followed Sam to a nearby sparring area, the tension in the air was palpable. Sam, always observant, glanced at you with a concerned expression, his blue eyes narrowing slightly. "You alright? You keep spacing out?" His voice carried a hint of worry, something unusual for him.
He was typically confident, bordering on cocky, but when it came to you, he seemed genuinely concerned, or he used to. When you had first got together he had been the perfect boyfriend, but as time went on, that title started to slip.
"Yeah, of course. I'm just tired," you replied with a nonchalant shrug, trying to downplay any concern he might have. You didn't want him to think you couldn't handle yourself.
Sam studied you for a moment, his eyes scanning your face as if searching for any sign that you might be hiding something. "Yeah, ok then," he said, finally letting out a small chuckle.
He doesn't care anymore, he’s lost all feeling, he used to ask how i was daily, with genuine care, listening to my every word. The tension in his shoulders eased as he added with a smirk, "Now let’s do this thing.” He says picking up a sword, assuming a fighting stance. His movements were fluid, practised, like someone who had trained for years.
You mirrored his stance, your eyes locked on his, both of you focused and ready. The sparring area was quiet, the only sound being the rustle of leaves in the breeze. The world seemed to fade away as you prepared for the fight.
The first jab was swift, aimed directly at Sam’s chest. He dodged it easily, his movements smooth and calculated, like a predator toying with its prey. "That's the best you can do?" he teased, a smirk tugging at his lips. "You'll have to do better than that to defeat me."
Undeterred, you quickly followed up with a double jab. Sam dodged those as well, his movements becoming more and more effortless. He was clearly enjoying himself, almost toying with you as he kept avoiding your attacks. "Come on, I know you can do better," he said, sounding almost bored as he danced around your sword.
But you had anticipated this. You threw another jab, this time feinting to the left before quickly redirecting your punch to the right. Sam didn't see it coming—he was caught off guard. Your sword connected with his chest, and he staggered backward, his expression momentarily one of surprise.
"Ha!" you exclaimed, feeling a surge of triumph.
Sam quickly recovered, though, a smirk spreading across his face as he steadied himself. "Not bad," he admitted, rubbing his chest where you had hit him. "But I'm just getting warmed up."
You could see the respect in his eyes, though it was laced with the competitive edge that always seemed to drive him. "Come on then," you challenged, your voice low and determined.
Sam stepped closer, his confidence seemingly unshaken by your hit. "You sure you can handle more, tough girl?" he asked, his playful smirk returning as he prepared to attack again.
"Are you sure you can, pretty boy?" you shot back, the nickname slipping out before you could stop yourself.
Sam chuckled, clearly not expecting the cheeky nickname. "Oh, I can handle whatever you throw at me," he said, his eyes glinting with amusement. “Without swords this time.”
The fight continued, with Sam clearly having the upper hand most of the time. He was stronger, more experienced, and his movements were almost too fast to track. But you held your own, landing a few solid hits that made him respect your abilities even more. The two of you moved across the sparring area in a flurry of punches, kicks, and dodges, neither willing to give up.
Finally, the duel came to an end when you tripped over a loose stone, losing your balance and falling backward. Sam, distracted by something in the distance, hadn't noticed at first. Only moving to help when he heard a groan come from you.
“You alright?” He asked offering you a hand to help you up.
"Thanks," you muttered, trying to shake off the pain.
"No problem," Sam replied, a small smile on his face as he dusted himself off. He glanced back behind you, his eyes warm with admiration.
You turn to see what he’s looking at, only to be faced with a group of giggling girls from Hera’s cabin. What a prick.
You scoff, drawing his attention back, “I’ll see you at dinner, i’m gonna go change.”
“Yeah ok, see you later.”
You turned to walk away, but as you did, your eyes caught sight of Clarisse, who had been watching the pair of you spar. Her eyes were sharp, her expression unreadable as she stood in the shadows, partially hidden from view. The moment your eyes met, she quickly looked away, pretending she hadn’t been watching.
But unknown to Y/n the jealousy was clear—Clarisse wasn’t just watching out of curiosity; she was envious that it was Sam fighting you and not her. Sam that close to you. He didn’t deserve you, she knew that, he should know that, the whole camp should know that.
Y/n knew it too, she didnt believe she should be treated like this, she knew Sam had been looking at other girls, he always did, he also didnt care Y/n knew. He only kept her because she was seen as one of the nicest girls at camp, although she belonged to aphrodite, she knew how to wield a sword and boy could she. He stayed with her to make the other girls jealous, jealous taht Y/n had what they all wanted, he liked the attention from the others, and didn’t care anymore whether it hurt Y/n.
✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿
Later that evening, as the sun set and dinner time approached, the camp was bathed in a warm, golden glow. The smell of food wafted through the air, making everyone’s stomachs rumble in anticipation. You sat at the Apollo table as usual, with Sam beside you, his presence once comforting and familiar, now strange and unkown.
From across the dining pavilion, Clarisse sat at the Ares table, her eyes fixed on you and Sam. There was a tightness to her expression, her jaw clenched as she watched the two of you together. The jealousy she felt was almost palpable, a bitter feeling that twisted in her chest. She hated that Sam had you, the one thing she wanted but couldn’t have.
You were in the middle of laughing at something Sam had said when you felt eyes on you. Glancing up, you met Clarisse’s gaze from across the pavilion. This time, neither of you looked away. Instead, you offered her a small, almost knowing smile before turning back to your conversation with Sam. Clarisse’s heart twisted at the gesture, a spark of hope flickering inside her despite her best efforts to suppress it.
But reality quickly set in, and Clarisse looked away, focusing on her own meal. She tried to ignore the way her heart ached every time she saw you with Sam, laughing and smiling like you didn’t have a care in the world. It was like a dagger to her heart, reminding her of what she could never have.
She knew you were happy with Sam, but that smile... it seemed to say more than just a polite acknowledgment. It was like a tiny crack in the wall she’d built around her feelings, allowing a sliver of light to break through.
Throughout the rest of dinner, Clarisse found herself stealing glances at you, watching the way you interacted with Sam. Each time you laughed or smiled at something he said, it felt like a small dagger twisting in her chest. She couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like to be the one sitting beside you, sharing those moments.
As dinner drew to a close, Clarisse couldn’t bear to watch any longer. She pushed her plate away and stood up, making her way out of the dining pavilion with a heavy heart. She couldn’t bring herself to watch the two of you any longer. The sight of your happiness only served to remind her of what she couldn’t have.
✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿❀✿
Instead of going straight to bed, Clarisse decided to take a walk around the camp, hoping the cool night air would help clear her head. She wandered past the various cabins, each one holding memories that only served to remind her of you and Sam. The pain in her chest grew with every step she took, but she kept walking, hoping that the motion would help her forget, even if just for a little while.
Unbeknown to Clarisse, you had the same idea. After Sam had walked you back to your cabin and kissed your cheek goodnight, he had stopped kissing you on the lips sometime ago, it was just normal for him to not show affection anymore, you had gone to your room, and waited. When you were sure everyone else was asleep, you quietly climbed out of your window and made your way to the docks. It was a place you often went to when you needed to clear your head—a place that held special meaning for you.
And that’s where Clarisse found you, standing at the edge of the dock, staring out at the water as it rippled under the moonlight. She hesitated, unsure if she should approach or just leave you to your thoughts. But something compelled her to move forward, her feet carrying her towards you before she could stop herself.
You didn’t notice her at first, too lost in your own thoughts to hear her quiet footsteps on the wooden planks. It wasn’t until she was standing just a few feet away that you realized you weren’t alone. You turned, surprised to see Clarisse there, her expression unreadable in the dim light.
"Hey," she said softly, not wanting to startle you.
Clarisse’s heart pounded in her chest as she looked at you, sitting there in the moonlight, your face illuminated by the soft glow. She wanted to say something else, anything, but the words wouldn’t come. Instead, she just stood there, her emotions warring inside her as she tried to figure out what to do.
You noticed the conflict in her eyes, the way she seemed to be struggling with something. "Hi, you okay?" you asked gently, your concern genuine. You had never seen her out after curfew before.
Clarisse nodded, though she didn’t trust her voice to speak just yet. Instead, she took a deep breath and walked up to you, stopping when she was close enough to reach out and touch you if she wanted to.
"I’m fine," she finally said, her voice steady but low. "Just needed some air."
You nodded in understanding, your eyes searching hers for any hint of what she might be feeling. "Me too," you admitted.
“Do you mind if I join you?” She asked, her words coming back to her. You nodded scotting over on the dock so she could sit next to you.
For a moment, the two of you just sat there in silence, the only sound being the gentle lapping of the water against the dock. The tension between you was thick, but it wasn’t the kind of tension that came from anger or dislike. It was something deeper, something unspoken that neither of you quite knew how to address.
"I didn’t think I’d find anyone else out here this late," Clarisse admitted, breaking the comfortable silence that had settled between you. "I couldn’t sleep, so I decided to take a walk, and well... I ended up here."
"This is where I come when I need to think," you said, your voice barely above a whisper. "No one ever checks here, so I’m never caught."
Clarisse nodded in understanding. "It’s peaceful here," she agreed. "A good place to clear your head."
"Yeah," you murmured, your gaze drifting over the dark water. "I’ve always felt at peace near the sea. Even when I was younger..."
Clarisse noticed the way your voice trailed off, and she couldn’t help but feel a surge of curiosity. You rarely talked about your past, and she knew you never talked about your past, not with anyone but Sam.
Clarisse looked at you, her expression softening with curiosity and empathy. "You used to spend a lot of time by the sea?"
You hesitated, then nodded. "Yeah, where I lived… if I snuck out my window, it was just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. I used to go there at night, to escape."
Clarisse listened intently, sensing the weight of the memories behind your words. She could tell that talking about this wasn’t easy for you, but she appreciated that you were sharing something so personal. "It sounds like the beach was your refuge."
"It was," you said, your voice barely above a whisper. You paused, considering whether to share more, but the words seemed to catch in your throat. The closeness of Clarisse, the way she was looking at you—it was overwhelming. Your fists clenched in your lap, fingernails digging into your palms as you tried to steady yourself.
Clarisse noticed the tension in your body, the way you seemed to be wrestling with your emotions. Without thinking, she reached out, her hand hovering just above yours. She hesitated, then lightly placed her hand on yours, a gentle touch meant to offer comfort.
The contact startled you, and your head snapped up to meet her gaze. The intensity in Clarisse’s eyes surprised you, but it wasn’t unwelcome. There was something raw and vulnerable in the way she was looking at you, a side of her you hadn’t seen before.
For a moment, the world around you seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of you sitting together on that dock, connected by something deeper than words.
She took a step closer, her concern palpable. "What happened?" she asked softly, her tone gentle and encouraging. "You can tell me if you want to."
You hesitated, your mind racing as you struggled to articulate your thoughts. Being vulnerable was not something you were used to, especially not with someone you were still getting to know. The proximity between you and Clarisse suddenly felt overwhelming. You started to fidget, digging your fingernails into your palms, the crescent-shaped marks a testament to your anxiety.
Clarisse noticed your discomfort and the physical signs of your unease. Her heart ached for you, sensing your internal struggle. She reached out a tentative hand, placing it gently on your clenched fist, trying to offer some comfort.
"Hey... it's alright," she said soothingly. "You don't have to say anything you don't want to. I won't judge you, I promise."
Grateful for her understanding, you managed a weak smile. "Thank you. What about you? Why are you out here?"
Clarisse offered a soft smile in response, appreciating your attempt to shift the focus. "I couldn’t sleep either," she admitted with a slight shrug. "Just had a lot on my mind and couldn’t turn my brain off. Thought a walk might clear my head. And, well, here I am."
You noticed how her voice softened as she spoke, and you moved a bit closer, intrigued. "What’s on your mind?" you asked gently.
Clarisse felt her heartbeat quicken as you inched closer. The space between you seemed to shrink, and she could feel the warmth of your body. "Oh, you know, just the usual things," she replied, attempting to sound casual despite the growing tension. "Camp duties, the ever-present threat of monster attacks, you know, the usual."
You glanced at her, noticing her attempt to mask her true feelings. "Oh, right," you said, but the vague response didn’t sit well with you.
Clarisse noticed the skeptical look on your face. "What? What is it?" she asked, a hint of teasing in her voice. "You don’t believe me?"
You shook your head, slightly amused. "No, it’s just surprising. I’ve never seen you out here before."
Clarisse raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk forming on her lips. "Oh, so you’ve claimed this dock as your secret spot?" she teased. "I guess I just have a knack for being stealthy."
She chuckled, clearly enjoying the light-hearted banter. "Well, I hate to break it to you, but I guess we both have the same secret spot tonight. Looks like we’ll have to share."
The two of you sat in a comfortable silence, the soothing sounds of the water lapping against the dock and the rustling of leaves creating a serene backdrop. Clarisse glanced at you, taking in the soft glow of the moonlight on your face. She couldn't deny the attraction she felt, even though she knew you were with Sam.
Her mind raced with conflicting emotions—excitement, guilt, and uncertainty. The cool night air made her shiver, and without thinking, she moved closer to you, seeking warmth and comfort. The proximity between you was intoxicating, and she tried to push aside her fears and doubts.
"I think I’m going to break up with Sam," you blurted out after a long silence, breaking the spell.
Clarisse's heart skipped a beat at your unexpected confession. She quickly masked her surprise, wanting to keep her emotions in check. "Oh, really?" she asked, striving for a neutral tone. "Why’s that?"
You sighed, frustration evident in your voice. "He’s not a nice person. He talks about other girls in front of me, ignores me when I try to have a serious conversation, and gets annoyed when I talk to another guy. Maybe it’s just me. Maybe I don’t deserve to be with him, or maybe I’m just terrible for not giving him another chance."
As you spoke, Clarisse's heart ached for you. She silently cursed Sam, feeling a surge of anger on your behalf. "You deserve so much better than that, Y/n," she said softly, her tone sincere. "You’re not horrible. You’re not the problem."
She wanted to comfort you, to hold you and make everything better, but she restrained herself, not wanting to overstep. "You deserve someone who is kind, who values you, and who treats you with respect," she continued. "Someone who doesn’t ignore you or dismiss your feelings. You deserve someone who loves you for who you are, flaws and all."
You nodded, a touch of sadness in your eyes. "I really thought Sam was the one. He was so different when we started dating. I thought no other guy here was like him, but now I realize that maybe no guy at camp is right for me. I’ll just wait until I leave camp, I guess."
Clarisse’s heart ached for you once more. She understood the pain of being let down by someone you thought was perfect. "It’s okay to feel that way," she said gently. "Sometimes people change, or we don’t see their true colors until later. Love can surprise you when you least expect it."
"Really?" you asked, your voice filled with a hint of hope.
Clarisse nodded, her smile warm and reassuring. "Really. You never know when you’ll meet that special someone."
As you continued to talk, you both unconsciously drew closer to each other. The space between you dwindled, and Clarisse could feel the heat radiating from your body. It was exhilarating and nerve-wracking at the same time.
You hesitated before mentioning, "Yeah, maybe I’m just done looking for guys in general."
Clarisse’s heart skipped a beat, and she couldn’t hide the flicker of hope in her eyes. "Oh?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "You’re done looking for guys?"
She tried to keep her tone casual, but the underlying excitement was hard to conceal. Her palms felt sweaty, and her mind raced with thoughts of what this might mean.
You shrugged slightly. "Yeah, they’ve all been the same." You hesitated before adding, "or maybe I’ll just have to find a girl."
Clarisse’s heartbeat quickened, her pulse racing with a mixture of excitement and anxiety. "A girl, huh?" she said, her tone light but filled with a new intensity. "You’d consider that?"
You nodded, your gaze meeting hers with a mix of uncertainty and hope. "Well, the guys here have let me down, so maybe I will."
Clarisse’s pulse raced at your words. "Yeah, guys can be pretty disappointing," she echoed, her tone now carrying a deeper meaning. "But girls… girls can be different. They often have a unique way of connecting and understanding."
"Have you been with a girl before?" you asked, your curiosity evident.
Clarisse’s heart skipped a beat at your question. The conversation had taken a more intimate turn, and she struggled to find the right words. "Me? With a girl?" she repeated, her voice soft. "Yeah, actually. I have."
"Really? What’s it like?" you asked, genuinely interested.
Clarisse took a deep breath, trying to articulate her thoughts. "It’s different," she began, her voice barely above a whisper. "There’s a tenderness and vulnerability that’s unique. It’s like a new way of experiencing intimacy, where you’re both giving and receiving at the same time."
As she spoke, Clarisse reached out, tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear. The touch was tender and intimate, and she couldn’t help but notice the blush that spread across your cheeks.
"You’re blushing," Clarisse observed softly.
"I’m just cold," you said with a smile, though the lie was obvious.
Clarisse chuckled, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Cold, huh? Your cheeks are as red as a ripe tomato."
You looked away, flustered. "I don’t know what you’re insinuating, but I don’t like it."
Clarisse’s teasing tone softened. "Oh, come on, don’t pretend you don’t know what I’m suggesting. Your blush gives you away."
She laughed gently, her heart pounding with anticipation. "Well, if it’s true, it means you’re either embarrassed or attracted to me."
The words slipped out before she could stop them. She hadn’t meant to be so blunt, but she couldn’t deny the excitement building inside her.
"What if it was the second one?" you asked, your voice filled with a hint of vulnerability.
"If it was the second one," Clarisse said, her voice dropping to a husky whisper, "I would be very, very happy."
She took a step closer, their bodies almost touching, her heart racing. "Really?" you asked, your voice trembling with a mix of hope and nervousness.
"Really," Clarisse affirmed, her eyes locked with yours. "I’ve had a bit of a crush on you for a while now. And if you were attracted to me too…"
Clarisse’s admission hung in the air, a mix of excitement and nervousness palpable in her gaze. She took a deep breath, feeling exposed but relieved to share her feelings.
As you leaned in to kiss her, Clarisse’s heart raced. She had not expected you to be so bold, and her emotions were a whirlwind. Before she could second-guess herself, she met you halfway, their lips gently touching.
The kiss started soft and tentative but quickly grew more intense. Clarisse’s hand found its way to the back of your head, pulling you closer as she deepened the kiss. The world around them faded, replaced by the sensations of their connection—soft sighs, gasps, and the mingling warmth of their bodies.
As their kiss deepened, Clarisse’s fingers tangled in your hair, and she explored your body with a growing sense of urgency.
Despite the passion between you, you pulled away, a hint of hesitation in your voice. "We can’t… not until I’ve broken up with Sam."
Clarisse took a deep breath, her heart sinking at the reminder. "You’re right," she said softly, her voice tinged with disappointment. "We can’t until you’ve ended things with Sam."
She reached out, cupping your cheek gently, her thumb tracing the line of your jaw. "But I want you to know that I’ll be here for you, no matter what. When you’re ready, we’ll figure this all out together, okay?"
Clarisse offered a reassuring smile, giving your cheek a tender caress before letting her hand fall back to her side. "Good," she said gently. "Take all the time you need. I’ll be here, waiting for you." As she always did, wait.

Thomas Shelby X Reader
warnings: drinking, gross bar guy, kind of proofread i guess as i went along. female reader.
word count: 1226
Tumblr media
Thomas Shelby shows his love in small silent ways more often than not. Buying gifts like jewels and clothing, taking you out to nice restaurants in London. Speaking of his feeling was too soft for Thomas though, while he was able to say, ‘I love you’ and he was always showering you with compliments, he was unable to express the range of his emotions and what he’s thinking.  he didn't expand more than the basics.
Sixth months, that's how long Y/N and Tommy Shelby have been seeing each other and other than meeting the family, a few important events and some late nights, he hasn't opened up all that much. Even expressing that he loved her was a recent development.
Y/N has been trying to find a way to get him to open up a bit more but nothing seemed to be working. If anything, whenever she opened up more to him about things that hurt her or seen or random men who have followed her home in the past, to try and make him feel comfortable it seemed to make him even more protective of her than normal. She started noticing more men on her walks home from the flower shop she worked at. It was just around the corner really and ever since she started dating Thomas not many men have had the guts to go after her. Once they found out who she was if they didn't already know, they ran off rather fast but still she had an escort every night.
Feeling rather hopeless and just needing a night out with good company, you take Lizzy up on an offer to the garrison. The night had been going well and after a few drinks you and Lizzy were a giggling mess. Bursting into laughter anytime someone unpleasant came up to flirt with one of you. Hitting close to midnight you didn't show signs of stopping while Lizzy was slowing down and was just about ready to head home.
“Sorry, the kids and work ya know?” Lizzy shrugged as she stood up, grabbing her small bag and slinging it over her shoulder. “But we will be doing this more often, yeah?” she sends you an excited smile.
You send her one just as enthused. “Definitely!” you got up and gave her a wobbly hug goodbye. “Get home safe.” Saying a final goodbye then it was just you, sat alone at the bar.
Still with half your drink left so she decides to stay to finish it. Five minutes goes by and a lanky, greasy looking man takes the now vacant seat to your left. He tries a few dumb lines and offers to buy you another drink, when you refuse and ignore him he slowly gets more and more frustrated. Trying even harder and insisting you pay him attention.
Rolling your eyes and turning your attention elsewhere, you face the closed door of the room next to the entrance. You assumed no one had been in there all night, for as long as you and Lizzy had been there no one had gone in or out. You had assumed wrong because moments before the drunk greasy man's anger got the better of him, none other than Thomas Shelby himself came out of the room with John and Arthur. His eyes are on you in a second and just as you are being turned to face the angry drunk you could see Tommy’s face turn to anger.
The drunk is squeezing your face between his dirty fingers about to begin some rant when he’s suddenly being ripped away from his seat and thrown to the ground. Tommy is hovering over him and punching the man repeatedly. Arthur came to your side to check on you while John had to pull his brother off the man before he killed him.
The drunk withered on the ground holding his face while Tommy collected himself. “I suggest you get the fuck out and not come back.” Tommy said calmly. When the man didn't get up fast enough for Tommy however he lost it again and picked the man up by the back of his collar and literally dragged him out and threw him on the street. “Next time you lose an eye.” He warned on his way back in.
Now coming to your side he inspected your face, making sure the man didn't bruise you. “I'm fine Tommy I promise.” you giggled and pulled his hands away to hold in your lap. His knuckles were bloody. He tries to not let any of the blood get on your pretty dress however.
“You sure love?” He asks, still trying to see if there were any marks or dirt. You nod your head with a smile. “How long you been here?” he asks, now getting to business. Why were you out so late?
“I was with Lizzy, she left just a few minutes ago and I was just finishing my drink.” you point to the glass now empty behind you. “That was unless some greasy gross drunk man tried to hurt me and you came to my rescue.” You said, batting your eyelashes up at him and twirling a strand of hair.
Chuckling he shakes his head while out stretching a hand for you. “Well since the glass is gone, how’s bout i drive you home, eh?”
Placing your hand in his and leaping off the chair, Tommy had to grab your waist to keep you from face planting.
On the way to the car you couldn't help thinking about how much you been hoping that
Tommy would open up more. It's not like he has ever hidden anything from you, he tells you straight when there is a problem with business or the family, even gang related incidents he tells you about. He doesn't hide himself, he just doesn't detail his emotions. With everything that happened tonight it shows he really cares for you, his actions and need to put your safety before all else shows you how much he loves you.
By the time you made it to the car you were giggling and it was getting harder for Tommy to keep you upright. “Alright love, c’mon in the car.” he opened the door as you leaned against the side of the car.
“Hey Tommy” You say softly, making Tommy stop and look down at you with a raised eyebrow. “Thank you, for protecting me.”
Tommy raised a hand and pushed a strand of hair behind your ear, staring into your eyes with such tenderness. A look reserved only for you. “Love, I’ll protect you from anything.” he stated softly but planley.
“Anything?” you question him with a mischievous smile. “Even from the law if i murder someone?” you asked, trying to act sierouse.
With a face cast in shadows from street lights and chillingly straight face, Tommy smiled, ever so softly. “While I don't foresee you, of all people killing a person, I do mean anything Y/N.” His words left you unable to speak, they almost knocked the wind out of you. Morbid but romantic really. “Now. c’mon love. Let’s get you home.”
With that, Tommy took you home and you were now certain that what you had with Tommy was real, and important to him as well, you knew you would always have him. He loved you and knew how to show it.

i know i just posted a long ass rec list but i remembered some more fics that are crucial for u to read
still not my last rec post. but here's ur new homework until i wake my kindle back up and sort through my reread list.
We're Both Of Us Above by obstinatrix
E • 3k • angel/demon (pwp) "I saw you once," Crowley says, in a tone which might be interpreted, by anyone other than Aziraphale, as casual, "with a Fusilier." my favourite genre of aziraphale. the best characterisation. incredible dialogue, flirty snarky bitchy "how could you sleep with humans but not with me" resulting in amazing "youre the only one i've ever loved" sex.
New Approaches by FeralTuxedo
E • 19k • human AU (professor/author) Professor Aziraphale Fell welcomes the attendees of the First Conference on New Approaches to Genre Fiction. Among them is keynote speaker and best-selling thriller author Anthony J. Crowley. Aziraphale has not seen him for twenty-five years. Sometimes, he can still feel the ghost of their parting kiss on his lips.
The Lines Between by Ginger_Cat
M • 21k • angel/demon (post armageddon) fucking exquisite out of this world prose i want to drink with my eyeballs. aziraphale notices something is wrong with crowley (love) but can't figure out why the current state of their relationship isn't enough for him. celestial, spirital banging. so, so many feelings. fucking delectable literary motifs.
Celestial Bodies by Justkeeptrekkin
M • 48k • angel/demon (1920s) pg wodehouse inspired fic where aziraphale has a human friend group that invite him and crowley for a weekend away in the country. it's so funny and delightful and the pining is agonisingly sweet, and i love seeing how crowley interacts with all these batshit humans aziraphale calls friends. i know i'm a jeeves & wooster feral but i can't recommend this fic enough
Man to Man by leukozyna
E • 62k • human AU (office) crowley is the token twink in a corporate office with a mad crush on his colleague. aziraphale seems very much to be straight, but after striking up conversation over drinks at an office party, the two start hooking up regularly so crowley can help him uncover his sexuality.
A Classical Education by Melibe
M • 1k • human AU (professors) what the fuck this fic only has 1k hits i assumed it was like a fanon classic thpfhtkjdhs. aziraphale recites latin poetry at an office party. “Pedicabo ego vos et irrumabo,” Aziraphale enunciated clearly, knowing that only one person in the room understood the meaning of the archaic syllables: I will sodomize and face-fuck you.
The Rose Thief and the Priest by ImprobableDreams900
T • 15k • human AU (priest/gardener) When horticulturist A. J. Crowley sees a rare breed of rose in a churchyard, he decides he won't stop until he can get a cutting—even if he has to go through the church's stuffy priest to do so.
New Messages by TawnyOwl95
E • 38k (WIP) • human AU (fandom/online) Aziraphale writes fanfiction for the show Nice and Accurate Prophecies. Crowley draws fanart. THIS THING IS WRITTEN SO GOOD AND FUN AHHHHH so many laugh out loud points and feet kicking.
To reveal my heart in ink by chaoticlivi
E • 29k • angel/demon (post armageddon) aziraphale misses letter writing, so he and crowley start to write each other letters. it's easier to confess things on paper, even if they never mention the contents of their letters when they meet in person. it gets so dirty so fast (and aziraphale signing off every one with Your Dear Friend after detailing how he wants to tear crowley to pieces makes me wheeze laugh every time)
Demon and Angel Professors by Ghostinthehouse
T • series of 200 works, 133k total • human AU (professors) an incredible collection of drabbles (this bitch somehow makes every one 666 words) following a universe where aziraphale and crowley are both professors at the same uni. a mix of them and outsider povs, starting from the "two professors are married but no one realises it's to each other" trope, turning into some wonderful soft stories that reveal more of their relationship history, and loads of moments of queer and disabled solidarity.

For the rest of our lives (Mick Schumacher)
Getting married to the love of your life when you're young only means you share all of the memories and experiences with your partner in crime
Thank you so much to everyone who likes and reblogs, your feedback is appreciated, and while I'm not actively taking requests, I am writing some blurbs when I can so if you have any ideas or concepts that can be written in a small amount of sentences and you want to share, feel free to do so!
Tw: alcohol consumption
"My love, we have been invited to go out tonight", your husband said as he sat down on the sofa next to your desk in home office, making you focus on him instead of the spreadsheet in front of you, "we have? I could use a night out actually", you mused, thinking about how you had bought yourself a new dress that would be perfect for the occasion, "if you want to, they we'll go. I still have a few more hours of work before I have to sign off for the weekend, but other than that, everything is fine by me", you said as you watched him type what you assumed was a response saying you'd be joining the group, "will it bother you too much if I stay here? I promise I won't distract you", he said in a low tone, "of course you can, and maybe you can get me a coffee too, please?", you pouted, knowing he wouldn't say no as he got up and headed tor the kitchen before coming back with your favourites, "thank you, love", you said as you took a sip, your feet somehow managing to land on top of his thighs so you could have some form of physical contact between you while you finished your work.
After logging off, you took a quick shower before joining Mick in the kitchen to help him with dinner, Angie always following you whenever you went near the cupboards in hopes of getting some treats that might fall from your hands, ending up sitting by your feet while you both have dinner, discussing day to day things before you tidied and went upstairs to get ready. You stood in front of the mirror in your dressing table, shaking your hair so it wouldn't be too flat before trying to grab the thin fabric that would be tied around your back to secure everything in, "Do you want some help with that?", you heard your husband's teasing tone, turning to face the mirror again and letting him tie the straps, "is this good? Not too tight?", he asked as he made sure he wasn't squeezing you before making you turn around to face him, "you look incredible, schatz, absolutely incredible", he said as he pressed kisses to your shoulders going up to your neck before kissing your lips, "glad I did not put lipstick on yet, otherwise you would've smudged it, mister", you said before you took his appearance, "you look really good too, definitely the most handsome man", you said as you cupped his cheeks, his skin soft to the touch, making him kiss your palm, "we're one good looking couple, that's for sure", he said before he helped you put on your shoes and coat and leave the house.
You arrived at the club you'd be spending the night in, greeting your friends before they offered the first round, shots arriving to the table before you all downed them, your friend making you join her on the dance floor, waving every now and again to see your husband winking at you from the booth, "excuse me, would you allow me to buy you a drink? No one deserves to be here all alone and no drinks", you heard someone say before you turned to see who the voice belonged to, facing a man who was about your age as you showed him your drink on your left hand, "Oh, you're married. Sorry, didn't mean to offend. I'll leave you be", he hurried off, apologising again as your friend hit your shoulder playfully, "that thing on your finger just stopped us from having free drinks", she shook her head as you smiled at her, playing with your rings before you saw Mick and your friend's partner join you two with new drinks, "was he bothering you, gorgeous? Are you okay?", he checked for any signs of uneasiness, "on the contrary, Mick, he got so flustered when he saw her rings that he apologised and rushed off", your friend giggled as you circled your husband's waist, nestling your body on his, "he thought you were gorgeous too, but I noticed it first", he said as he kissed your forehead, taking a sip from his drink afterwards as he just swayed you both to the music playing, enjoying how you felt near him and in his arms.
"This one is for us, liebling", he said as he handed you another shot, downing it along with you as you shook your head at the taste, "that one did burn actually", you said before you looked lovingly at him, "I love you, to the moon and back" you whispered in his ear as you watched him become a blushy mess, his sweet giggles a sight to behold, "you want to know something?", you said as you laced your fingers in his, wedding bands clinking in eachother before you kissed his lips again, "I love you", you said sweetly before peppering kisser all over his cheeks, the blush from the heat, alcohol and your words making him look even more handsome to you.
Arriving home was easy considering your state, your heels dropped on the floor while you went to the bedroom, helping your husband take his clothes off before he helped you out of yours and into your pyjamas, "you're so pretty, liebling", he mused, "so pretty".
.
"C'mon Angie, let's keep going", you urged the dog who, like you, was showing already some signs of tiredness, "I promise we are nearly there", Mick said a few steps in front of you. You had decided to go for a hike, taking the opportunity since Mick was home for the weekend and you did not have any extra work to do, the sunny day outside inviting to spend it outside. True to his words, you soon arrived at a beautiful waterfall, making you drop you backpack as you looked at how the water fell and pooled at the end, Angie drinking some of the water as you and Mick took it all in, "this is beautiful", you whispered as he joined you, hugging you from behind, "it is", he replied back before kissing your cheek, "thank you for agreeing to come with us", he whispered as his breath fanned your neck tickling you, "please, if I had stayed home, not even Angie would've come with you so early in the morning, we would have stayed all snuggled up in the warm bed", you teased as you felt him smirk against your skin, "well, then I can go on my own anyway", he said as he peeled himself from you, starting to take his t-shirt off and shorts too after he checked once again that you were all alone, making you bite your lip a you watched him fold his clothes on top of his backpack before going for a swim, "it's too warm there, here is fresher", he said as you knew he was tempting you to join him, the sight incredible for him as you too started taking off your leggings and hoodie, joining him while Angie also swam around, "need cuddles", you said as you opened your arms to circle them around his waist, your body erupting in goosebumps from the different temperatures, "you make me crazy, Mick, absolutely crazy", you said as you caressed his torso and kissed all over his chest, "is that because of my body, the fact that I woke you up early to get here or that we're swimming with no clothes on in a small waterfall?", he teased, pulling your lips in for a kiss, "honestly? All of the above. And maybe the fact that you drive really fast cars and it gets me all nervous, but I could go with this right here, yeah", you mumbled into his skin, continuing to press kisses to his pale skin.
.
Driving in the mud was the plan for the day, Gina helping you with breakfast before the boys came downstairs to join you, "Good morning, good morning", you heard Mick say before he came up to you, circling his arms around your waist while you pushed eggs around in the pan, "Hello gorgeous, what are you making?", he said before kissing your shoulder, "some eggs, Gina is on toast duty, I have some avocado sliced already", you said as you moved the food into a bowl, ready for the table as you sat down, going over the plans one more time while eating and tidying up.
"Here, you need this for your pretty little head", he said as he kissed the top of your head before putting a helmet on your head, "now you're all safe", he smiled before he put his own on, checking you were strapped in safely before fastening his belt and starting the engine, "can you start slowly first, please?", you asked loud enough for him to hear, "so I can get used to it", you knew you were blushing under the devices protecting you, "of course. Squeeze my thigh if you need me to stop, yeah?", he checked again before he sped it up, your laughs and enjoyment through the roof as he did all kinds of imaginary circuits.
Getting off a while later, your legs felt like jelly from all the adrenaline as you shrieked with Gina about what you had just done, feeling your husband hug you, "You're all dirty, Mick!", you yelled, "you say that like you're much cleaner!", he replied back, the mud spreading between you as Gina took a photo of the moment, "Oh, there's your child!", her partner said as Angie approached the area with Corinna now that the cars were no longer going, deciding to stand by your mother in law instead of the usual excited greeting, "c'mon, baby, come here for a cuddle", you bent down while she looked weary, "she's thinking you're all dirty, no way she's getting near that", Corinna offered with a giggle, "Oh, especially herself, goodness knows how she is whenever it is bathtime".
Later on the evening, now in bed cuddled up to you, Mick thought about the past few days, "I love having you with me at all times", he mused and you looked at him, response ready in your tongue, "I would hope so, you married me after all. Until further information, this is for life", you smiled as you watched him slightly roll his eyes, "I mean that, though. I love that you're mine and I'm yours. That we get to share everything for the rest of our lives, together", he said as he kissed your lips, sealing his lifelong promise to love and cherish you.

Twilight Warriors
Chapter 1
This follows on from my fic 'Imposter'.
It's also me paying homage to @st0rmyskies. This is a love letter and prequel to their amazing fic 'Polyamorous Disaster Sky'. As well as their other work which I highly recommend.
I wanted to write my version of how I thought Warriors and Twilight's relationship got started before Sky became involved.
Anyway usual 🔞 warnings, enjoy 😊
"Shit! This is bad Twi!" Wars grunted, shifting Twi's slightly heavier body into a more comfortable position.
"It's not great but it's not terrible!" Twilight replied, tentatively poking at the arrow sticking out of his left shoulder.
"Stop doing that!" Wars smacked his hand away before Twilight could do any more damage.
"It's fine. I'll just pull it out and keep goin. Hand me a potion and I'll be right as rain," Twilight insisted. But his smile faded when he noticed Wars' stricken expression.
"What's wrong?"
"You mean other than the arrow in your shoulder? I haven't got any potions or fairies left. And if you're asking me then I'm guessing you don't either."
"Well, shit!"
"My sentiments exactly," Wars nodded.
He had managed to wrestle Twilight away from the battle in order to examine his wound. Having come up empty on healing items Wars was at a loss for what to do next. The blasted portal had spat them out in the middle of a monster camp. Enormous moblins from Wild's era surrounded them on all sides. He could still hear the others fighting for their lives not far away. Hopefully it wouldn't be long until they finished off the monsters and help would be on its way.
"We'll just have to wait for the others. One of them must have something to help. But I don't want to take that arrow out until they do." Wars insisted, trying to stay calm and level headed. Never mind that the man he had recently developed feelings for was bleeding in his arms.
"I'll be alright Cap," Twilight sighed, looking up at Wars with his lopsided grin which made Wars' knees weak. "I'm tougher than I look."
"Well you must be made of steel because you look pretty tough my friend." Wars chuckled.
His eyes kept flicking to the shaft embedded in Twi's shoulder. A million and one scenarios flashed through his mind. Not all of them bad, but only a handful of them had happy endings. His biggest concern was infection. Wars doubted moblins worried about keeping their weapons clean. The arrow head was likely dirty if not poisoned. Twilight hadn't shown any signs of poisoning, but he hadn't crossed it off the list just yet. A potion could heal most poison damage, but infections were tricky. They weren't always totally cleared up by magic, being a natural occurrence. He didn't understand why, that's just they way things worked sometimes.
"I'll be alright Wars, I've dealt with a lot worse trust me," Twi tried to assure him, gently rubbing Wars hand on his arm with his thumb.
It was a good long while before anyone came to find them. Four had a gash across his forehead, just below his head band. He was panting hard as he pushed through the brush towards them.
"I found them! They're here! Twi's hurt!" He yelled over his shoulder. "What happened? I saw you guys disappear earlier and assumed the worst." Four asked, as he dropped to his knees on the opposite side of Twilight to Wars.
"Got hit by an arrow. Can't move my left arm just now." Twilight explained plainly.
"Not good. I'll go get Hyrule. He was dealing with Wind but he should be done now."
Four sprung back to his feet and was away agin.
"Wait what happened to Wind?!" Wars called after him.
"You're such a mother cooco!" Twilight chuckled.
"Shut up you idiot," Wars huffed, no real feeling in his words.
"Aww, you always call me such sweet nicknames Cap."
"Alright now really do shut up. I'm not sure I want the others know about our little... whatever it is going on between us."
"Okay, no worries, I won't say anything," Twilight insisted and Wars could tell he wasn't teasing anymore.
Help in the form of Hyrule and Time came a few minutes later. Time held Twilight still while Wars pulled the arrow. An instant later Hyrule's healing magic flowed through Twilight's vains, stitching his skin back together. A small pink scar was all that remained just visible beneath Twilight's tunic.
"How'd you feel Twi?" Time asked, looking down at Twilight from where he sat above his head.
Twilight stared up at Time's upside down face and gave him a smile.
"Much better Old Man. Thanks Rulie, the rest of you okay?" Twilight sighed in reply.
"Everyone is mostly fine. After I fixed up Wind he claimed he spotted a village through his telescope, just up ahead on the road," Hyrule replied.
Wars thought the young hero looked exhausted. He always did after using his healing magic on so many people.
"Alright, we'll make for the village and hope we can find somewhere to stay and rest a while. Once we figure out who's era we're in we can come up with a better plan." Wars decided, his grip on Twilight's arm tightening slightly.
"Actually Four thinks it might be his, but he's not quite sure where the portal dropped us yet." Hyrule added.
"Alright, village it is," Time concluded, pushing himself to his feet with a groan. "Can you walk now Twi?"
"Yeah I'm good," Twilight insisted, gently easing Wars' hand off his arm. "Let's get moving."
The Chain moved slowly along the road Wind had found, towards the little houses off in the distance. Wars didn't walk directly beside Twilight, but he hovered near him, hardly allowing the Rancher out of his sight. He seemed fine. The chances of poison had dwindled to nothing. Maybe he was worrying needlessly. Still, he had dried smears of Twilight's blood on his hands. Wars curled his fists and tried to ignore it.
The village was small. So small in fact that there were no shops and no Inn. Time and Four spoke to a farmer who said he had a barn large enough to accommodate all of them. Four gave the old man what he thought was a generous handful of rupies and thanked him for his hospitality.
The barn was designed to house sheep and other livestock. Twilight instantly felt at home. The barn was drafty but it was the middle of summer and the breezes blowing through the cracks in the boards were pleasant. He smiled contently to himself and started unpacking his bedroll and his weapons to check a few things over.
"I don't think we're too far from my town," Four informed them.
As usual Wild's map was useless, just a fuzzy screen and only his inventory was available to him.
"We'll spend the night here then press on in the morning. These people don't seem to have been bothered by the monsters so far, I'd like to keep it that way," Time said to the others.
Wars washed his hands with the last of his water before handing it over to Sky to be filled with everyone else's.
"I'm going to go for a quick walk around the village, make sure we didn't miss any monsters back there," Wars announced.
He was already turning towards the door of the barn when he felt Twilight's hand grip his arm.
"I'll come with you. I could do with stretching my legs a bit more," he uttered, quickly letting go of Wars.
Together the pair left the barn and headed for the edge of the village. It really was small, just a collection of farm buildings and squat single story houses. Twilight spent a while saying hello to the flock of sheep out in one of the fields while Wars rolled his eyes.
Secretly though he found Twilight's way with animals both impressive and endearing. He had an amazing way with them. Like he could speak to them in their language, calm them with his natural kindness. Wars wondered if he'd ever used that soothing talent on any of his brothers.
They walked across the main road through the other end of the village in about fifteen minutes and rounded the corner back towards the barn.
"Did you see that?" Twilight asked suddenly, pointing off between two houses towards some trees.
"What?"
Wars was instantly on alert. His ears pricked for any sound ahead of them. He couldn't see whatever it was Twilight had spotted, but he trusted Twi's instincts. They were always odly accurate.
"I'm sure I saw somethin slip between those two buildings. Might have just been an animal, but we should check it out."
"Alright, I'll follow your lead," Wars replied, drawing his sword just in case.
Twilight and Warriors approached the two buildings, shoulders tensed and senses seaking out anything out of the ordinary. Wars attention drifted away from Twilight towards the trees nearby. Which is why when Twilight rounded on him and pinned Wars against one of the walls, he dropped his sword in surprise.
"Twi what are you...?!" He protested.
Twilight cut off Warriors question with his lips. Planting them firmly with all the pent up passion he had felt throughout the last few days. When he drew back for breath Wars was staring at him, eyebrow raised.
"You didn't see anything, did you?"
"I might have," Twilight replied coily. "We could always go and check. Or we could stay here."
To emphasise his point Twilight pressed his thigh between Wars' legs, putting pressure on his groin. Wars whimpered, a sound which drove Twilight forwards, like a predator taking advantage of its preys weakness. He met Wars' lips once more, kissing him while his hands went to the man's hips to push him roughly against the wall.
"Mmm," Wars moaned into Twilight's mouth, as he began rubbing himself against Twi's leg.
Twilight grinned, flashing his teeth before dipping his head down to kiss Wars' neck. Their clothing didn't allow for much skin to skin contact, but Twilight made up for it. His lips and teeth found the soft spot beneath Wars' jaw and gently nipped his skin, earning him a soft moan from the Captain. Twilight hummed to himself in satisfaction. Watching someone like Warriors wriggle under his touch was intoxicating.
"You okay?" Twi asked, as Wars shuddered at the touch of Twi's tongue on his ear.
"Oh yes," Wars breathed, his hands wrapped tightly around Twilight's shoulders. "Oh Twi!"
Twilight chuckled a little and Wars felt it pass between their chests, tightly pressed together. He let his head fall back against the wall of the building while Twi continued to suckle at the soft skin of his neck.
"We sh-should probably get back. The others will start to wonder where we are," Wars uttered, just about able to keep from stammering.
Twilight moaned softly against his ear.
"I don't want to go back."
"They'll get suspicious. And I don't fancy the tease fest I know Legend will give us if he found out. Come on Twi. You know I want to, but let's be at least a little sensible about this."
Twilight withdrew a little. He stopped pinning Wars against the wall quite so firmly. And he eased his leg out from between Wars' thighs.
"Okay, we'll be careful. When we're with the others everything can be normal. We'll just have to take every chance we can to be alone," Twilight finally relented.
Wars reached up and stroked Twilight's cheek.
"I might be making my perimeter sweeps a bit longer from now on then!"
***
Wild made a simple meal of grilled meat and vegetables for dinner, after which everyone went to sleep. All except for Time who sat on watch at the barn door. The night passed without incident. Watch shifts were exchanged until Legend passed by Twilight at the end of his shift. The older hero was wrapped up in his blanket as usual. But Legend noticed Twilight seemed to be shivering. It wasn't cold by any estimation, it had been quite a pleasant night. But Twilight was definitely shivering.
Concerned, Legend took a few steps closer and squatted down beside Twilight's head. He reached out and laid the back of his hand on Twi's forehead. It didn't take long for Legend to confirm what he suspected. Twi's skin was hot and slick with sweat. Legend grimaced and wiped his hand on his tunic.
"Dummy, went and got yourself a fever didn't you," Legend grumbled in a low tone.
He let out a long sigh and looked around for Time. He found him sleeping not far from the door and went to rouse him.
"Hey, Time," he said, shaking the man awake. "Twi's got a fever."
"Hmm, what?" Time replied groggily rubbing his good eye, as he tried to push himself up onto one arm.
"Twilight's got a temperature and he's shivering something fierce. I think his wound got infected and now he's got a fever," Legend explained.
As Time and Legend went to check on Twilight, the other boys began to stir. Hyrule and Warriors were quick to join Time and Legend by Twilight's side while the others gave them some space and started packing up their things.
"He's got a fever alright," Time confirmed, withdrawing his own hand from Twilight's head. "Twi, can you hear me? Are you awake?"
Twilight didn't respond so Time started gently rocking his shoulder.
"I was afraid this would happen. I should have taken the arrow out sooner," Wars sighed, shaking his head.
"He would have bled out if you'd done that," Legend remarked.
"Anything you can do Rulie?" Time asked, lifting his gaze to look at the traveller.
"I don't think so." Hyrule shook his head sadly. "He needs medicine, not potions or healing. They won't do anything for an infection like this. Good food and warmth should help with the fever, but yeah, medicine."
"I'll go see if anyone in the village has anything that could help," Legend announced, already getting to his feet.
"I'll come with you," Hyrule replied, following the Vet to the door.
It didn't take long for the two boys to come back from their search. The villagers had been sad to inform them that they only had medicine for their animals and a few small supplies for themselves. However there was a larger town nearby where they should be able to get what they needed.
"Sounds like my home town," Four remarked. "I could get us some lodging if we went there."
"Twi's not in any fit state to travel Smithy," Wars reminded him, a gentle hand laid on Twilight's shoulder. "I suggest we split up. Some of us go to town and get medicine for Twilight. Some of us stay with him here and do the best we can until the others get back."
"Sounds like a good plan," Sky agreed.
"I think Four, Legend, Wind and Sky should go to the town. Maybe you should go too Time. Hyrule should stay in case Twi gets worse and he can do anything. And maybe Wild, perhaps you could make him some soup?" Wars continued, addressing each of the boys as he spoke to them.
"That's a solid plan Captain, anyone have any other suggestions?" Time affirmed.
There weren't any objections to Warriors' plan, so the boys going to town finished packing up and left as quickly as they could. Four assured Wars that they would get there and back as soon as possible and not to worry.
Wild went to forrage for ingredients even had a pumpkin donated from one of the farmers. Wars was pleased to see Twilight finally open his eyes when Wild started cooking in one of his portable pots.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" He asked softly, brushing some of Twilight's bangs out of his face.
"Like crap," he croaked, his voice thin and weak compared to the commanding tone he had used on Wars only the day before.
"Some of the others have gone to fetch you some medicine. Wild's cooking pumpkin soup." Wars explained.
"Smells good," Twilight remarked, following his nose towards the source of the delectable smells wafting from Wild's stove.
"I'm glad you haven't lost your appetite. Think you could sit up and drink some water?"
"Sure."
Warriors helped prop Twilight up against a bale of hay they had moved behind his bed roll. He groaned a little but mostly he just seemed exhausted.
"Are you warm enough?" Wars asked, his hand already on a spare blanket folded up beside him.
"I'm 'k for now," Twilight sighed, taking a deep breath.
Wars handed Twilight his canteen and carefully watched Twi taking slow sips. He was pleased to see him drink quite a bit before he handed it back. Not long after Wild arrived with two bowls of steaming soup.
"I tried to make it the way Sky said, but we didn't have all the right herbs. Tastes good though. Hope it helps," Wild informed them as he passed both bowls to Warriors.
"Thanks Wild, you and Hyrule alright?" Warriors replied, looking past Wild to where Hyrule sat reading.
"We're fine. Hyrule's a little fidgety, but fine," Wild smiled with a shrug.
"Okay. You don't have to stay in the barn by the way. If you two want to go explore that's fine. Just don't go too far. Try to keep the village in sight in case we need you." Wars urged, trying not to make it sound like an order.
"Sure, Hyrule wanted to go look for fairies so we'll go check out the woods nearby," Wild brightened, before turning back towards Hyrule.
The two young men quickly slurped up their soup before picking up their gear and disappearing out the barn doors. Meanwhile, Wars turned his attention back to Twilight.
"You ready for some soup?"
"You going to feed me like a child?" Twilight frowned.
"I don't have to. You wanna take the bowl?"
Twilight unfolded his hands from his blanket and carefully took the bowl from Wars' hands. It was warm and made him realise just how cold and clammy his hands were. Twilight swallowed the lump in his throat as he picked up the spoon and lifted it to his mouth. He spilt half of it down his chin before he swallowed the rest. It was still hot and he almost burnt his mouth. Twilight sighed and rested his hands in his lap, defeated.
"You want me to feed you?" Wars asked, this time without any hint of teasing.
"Alright," Twilight replied begrudgingly.
Wars picked up the bowl and the spoon and shuffled himself into a better sitting position. He scooped up another spoonful and gently blew on it before feeding it to Twilight.
"Tastes good," Twilight mumbled.
"Don't talk with your mouth full," Wars remarked, loading up another spoonful.
"Yes Sir!" Twi chuckled, but there wasn't any fight in him.
His whole body seemed slumped and ragged, like the fever and exhaustion had seeped into his bones. Wars fought down his pity and continued to spoon feed Twilight. As he did, he couldn't help smile ever so slightly at the intimacy of the situation. Of course he was sorry that Twilight was ill, but there was a certain affection in what he was doing. He scraped the soup off Twilight's chin when he dribbled a little. He backed off when Twi seemed out of breath. And waited patiently when he needed a moment before he could eat any more.
Eventually Twilight said he'd had enough and couldn't stomach any more. Wars was pleased that he had consumed more than half the bowl and took it back to the pot to keep it warm in case Twi wanted more.
"Want me to feed you now?" Twi teased, wiggling his eyebrows a little.
"Ha ha. Very funny. I'd rather you not make a mess of my clothes thank you very much," Wars replied mockingly.
He picked up his own soup which wasn't quite tepid yet and quickly drained the bowl empty.
"Huh, that was good. I'd like to try the original recipe if we end up on Skyloft some day." Wars remarked, setting his bowl aside and taking a quick drink.
"I'd like to show you my home some day," Twilight sighed beside him.
"Yeah, what's your home like? You live in a place called Ordon right?"
"Yeah, I live in a tree house just-outside the village. Rusl helped build it when, when I was too old to stay with them anymore." Twilight explained, his eyelids growing heavy as he struggled to breathe between sentences.
"Sounds lovely. How about you get some rest and you can tell me more about it when you're feeling better Twi?" Wars said softly.
"Okay," Twi sighed, already slipping back down onto his bedroll.
Wars helped him a little and carefully wrapped Twilight in his blanket.
"You still warm enough?" He asked, gently pressing the backs of his fingers to Twilight's cheek.
"Bit cold," Twilight moaned, burying himself in his blanket up to his nose.
Wars nodded and unfolded the spare blanket, gently laying it over twilight and tucking it in around the edges.
"Better?"
Twilight just nodded, exhaustion already claiming his conciousness. Wars hummed in contentment, sitting back a little on his heels. He gazed down at Twilight's peaceful features. The markings on his face had always been a curiosity, but he never thought they detracted from his handsome features. Warriors had always been told he was good looking. Ever since he was a child he'd been told he'd be a heartbreaker. That never sat very well with him, and after Cia... Wars hadn't actively saught out any relationships.
There had been a few one night stands, some short term relationships that never went anywhere. People always seem to expect him to be one thing, the handsome hero. Whenever he tried to express there was more to himself than just that, people seemed to lose interest. Not Twilight. All the boys teased him for his good looks. Not with any real meanness, but even the other heroes had noticed Warriors' looks.
It seemed Twilight had noticed more about him than just his charming smile and his dazzling blue eyes. Maybe it was years of being adored for nothing more than his face that made him a little sceptical. But when Twilight looked at him it didn't feel like he was being appraised anymore. It felt like Twi was seeing him, really seeing HIM.
