i just finished dos2 and it was such an excellent game but what the hell was the red prince's epilogue scene??
he had so much character growth at the end, going so far as to give up what arguably was his birthright to be a god amongst men (aka lizards) and ruling to mc and trusting them as the new divine
then he turns around and says lol be my slave like what the hell?? where was the character progression?? the romantic acknowledgement that he literally tells mc he loves them?? what was that??

Carmy as Your Baby Daddy | Social Media AU & Headcanon Series | part six
Tumblr media
part five | masterlist | part seven
your third trimester & meeting baby bear
your third trimester fatigue really starts to set it, rendering a slow-down on you and carmy's sex-a-palooza (era coined & named by @starbritestarlite). the less-than-desirable symptoms come back: extreme fatigue, smell/food sensitivities, and your back and feet are almost always tired/sore.
sugar insists on throwing you a baby shower, and you let her because you know how happy it makes her. you can't believe she actually wants to throw (and host) the party, even though she has a fourteen-month old, but like she said, she insists. sydney offers to cater it and with that addition, you and sugar are both game.
it's there at the baby shower that sugar finds she's pregnant AGAIN and sydney cannot fathom what she must've done in a past life to deserve two pregnant best friends who can't even drink.
sugar gets pastries from your favorite bakeries around the city: marcus' croissants, mochi donuts decorated like baby bears, cupcakes, while sydney takes care of the rest of the food. it's the sweetest thing and carmy is grateful yet a little overwhelmed by the huge celebration that sugar has orchestrated because you swear she's invited everyone you and carmy have ever known.
most sundays when you host brunch at your place, you whip up a great brunch spread and fantastic playlist, and after all of your guest are done, you and carmy spend the afternoon napping, making out, and dreaming up the rest of your life together.
i'd just like to reiterate the pregnant people in overalls concept because i did in fact go to a ceramic sale and see so many pregnant people in overalls. it's a thing. it's a vibe. i'm not sorry. just picture it: you, pregnant in overalls, painting the second bedroom and turning it into a nursery. you and carmy tag team this huge diy project. while you paint, carmy can't stop checking in: "are you sure you're supposed to be around these paint fumes? you feeling okay? you want to sit down, sweetheart? how's baby bear?" and it's so endearing that he's worried but you're having fun doing this with him and you'd really like for him to stop worrying for a second.
shopping. for. baby. clothes. one day you come home from the office with a tiny little denim baby jacket. "i know baby bear won't be able to wear it for a while but..." and carmy is just in tears.
baby bear pajamas. baby bear bed sheets. baby bear wall decals. baby bear everything.
one day when carmy has a night off, he's made dinner for you by the time you get home from the office. while you insist on doing the dishes, he cuddles up with you on the couch later that night. without warning, he begins giving you a foot massage, and it's the best one you've ever gotten. "baby, if you ever decide to change careers, you might have a future in massage." he blushes, reluctant to tell you, but inevitably shares that pete took him to a prenatal massage class. you are speechless. "i'm sorry. you went to a prenatal massage class with pete?! better not let richie find out." but all of your teasing falls by the wayside as you more than happily accept his foot and back rubs night after night.
on top of talking to baby bear, you and carmy begin reading to baby bear. you buy baby bear a few children's books to start and while you prefer to read them to baby bear, carmy has another idea. one afternoon when you fall asleep, he begins reading (and commenting) on a few cookbooks he's owned for most of his career. things like: "hmmm that seems like a little too much salt." and "2 oz of carrots, shredded, then pickled with-. would you pair carrots with jicama for an escabeche, baby bear?" some days you pretend you're still sleeping just to hear him do it because it truly is the most precious thing you've ever heard in your life.
carmy is terrified that he'll be a bad dad, considering his dad left and his mom is... his mom and freaks out one day. in an effort to calm him down, you finally admit that you've been listening to him read to baby bear when you fall asleep. "a man that a works on a recipe with his unborn kid... that's dad material if i've ever seen it." while he still has his worries and anxieties, it makes him feel loads better when you remind him that more than anything, you believe in him.
when you go into labor, carmy drops everything to get to the hospital as soon as possible. while not planned or preferred, you end up having to have a c-section with baby bear. it's the strangest experience (did you know they literally have to take your organs out to get to the baby?!?!?!) and it's not what you pictured, but the minute you hear baby bear cry, it doesn't matter. it is emotional: army is crying and you're crying and baby bear is crying, and you both know your lives have just changed forever.
"welcome to the world, josephine antonia berzatto," you whisper as you hold your baby girl in your arms for the very first time.
a/n: my heart exploded writing that last part. rip to me.
in a wild turn of events, i WILL be writing a 'your life with baby bear' headcanon for this series NEXT, and then eventually a 'carmy as a dad/you and carmy as parents' headcanon.
i forgot to add... i just want to say that @carmensberzattos did in fact call it, insisting that baby bear be called antonia. which is insane considering in season 2 we learned that carmy's middle name is anthony. and that's on being psychic. name was edited bc it flowed better this way!!

✦ Lost in Limbo Devlog #11 | 05.08.24
Tumblr media
AHA! Nope, we didn't forget about April's devlog. In fact, we have been busier than ever—doing early preparations for our Kickstarter, working on the demo, sorting out legal stuff...
Speaking of which...
Tumblr media
This month we have been really busy making our studio official by the law! Now, to pay taxes and cry! YAY!
We are very very excited about it—and also terrified! We are still sorting out the studio's bank account, as burocracy isn't the fastest thing in this world, sadly. This is the first thing I wanted to talk about in this devlog, because it's such fantastic news for us! :')
Now, let's jump on the process we've made this past month, shall we? ✨
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This past month, Raquel worked very hard on our second Key Art. This was originally made for Steam, but I modified the format a bit so it could also be used in other places! I honestly love this one—we have our first Key Art to represent the darker aspects of the game, and then this one to show off the characters' dynamics! Not everything's going to be horror and mystery in the game!✨💜
Also, we have been working on designing the merch for the Kickstarter, but we can't show anything yet. All we can say is that everything is looking gorgeous and we are so excited to share it eventually!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thanks to Airyn, we've made great progress with the backgrounds! In fact, there's only one left to finish. The one you see above needs a few final touches (that will be made by yours truly!), and then I'll animate it a bit to get it ready for the build! The rest of the backgrounds are finished, animated, and integrated in the build :3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The survey icon is missing, but it'll be there!
Well, this should tell you everything you need to know when it comes to programming! The whole demo is programmed. Functional. Nothing crashes. Stuff works and I'm over cloud nine. I have been working on the final touches (revisiting scenes, checking sprites, music / sfx volume...) and the beta testing phase will begin soon. Soon as in tomorrow.
Tumblr media
We've mainly used this month to review the auditions we received for our casting call, contacting the selected VAs, etc. Every VA has accepted their role, received the document with the lines we'll need for the demo, and we'll work hard to announce the cast publicly as soon as possible! We want to at least do a promotional short video showcasing every LI and their VA!
Sadly, making the studio official has (and will) take more time than we anticipated, and as we want to release the demo on Steam, the review process will most likely slow us down. There's the option of doing an itchio release and then a Steam one, but I'm not sure if that'll hurt the project. We are still keeping the demo release date a secret, until things settle down!
Tumblr media
Also, I couldn't finish this devlog without talking about the Magic & Mystery Otome cross-promotion! ✨ We were invited by the amazing folks at Best Laid Plans Studios to participate in this event that showcases 12 amazing visual novels like Alaris, Obscura, Dual Chroma and more! I know I have been pretty annoying with this (can you blame me, though?!) so I won't keep rambling about it—just check everyone out, please!
Tumblr media
I think that's all! Well, that's not all, but we gotta keep a bit of mystery surrounding the demo! We have been busy bees this month, with the making of the studio, the polishing of the demo, contacting and coordinating the VAs...
We are so excited for the demo release. I'm personally excited and terrified, but blame it on the OCD. I keep jumping from catastrophic scenario to catastrophic scenario. I'll have no control over what happens when the demo goes live, but I have control on what I can do before that happens—and that's working as hard as I've been doing this whole time.
And that's it! Please take care, enjoy the week, and stay hydrated. The Raventar team, NOW AN OFFICIAL STUDIO, wishes you all the best and sends a huge hug your way! 💜

*pathetically crawls out of a bog or something covered in muck* hi hello I'm an idiot and accidentally deleted a whole finished prompt -_- so here we go again rewriting it :) I'm so mad :)
Anyway an anon asked for something like a poly hero x supervillain x villain story where the villains won forever ago but kept Hero around as a captive, and eventually grew fond of them and they're together now. Which 👀 I have to say that's a fantastically interesting idea 👀
Prompt #24
A bishop was slid across the board. "Aaaaand checkmate!"
Hero groaned, falling forward until their forehead rested on the table. "Of course it is. Your third one today."
"Mm-hm." On the other side of the table, Superhero made a big show of knocking Hero's king off the board.
"This is truly my lowest point," Hero sighed. "Beaten every time we've played today."
"Every time we've played this week," Superhero reminded them with a smug smile. They were teasing, they knew Hero didn't really care if they won or not. "Want to go again?"
Hero let out another loud groan, and Superhero laughed.
They moved to pick up the pieces for another game, always wanting Hero to stay longer. They'd even let them win a few times if it meant they didn't have to go.
A ding echoed throughout the mostly empty room, and Hero immediately sat up, pulling out their phone. "Sorry, hold on one second."
The cheery playful mood in was quick to fade as Superhero watched Hero's face, Superhero's own grin slipping from their features as Hero's smile grew. The hero began typing, thumbs flying across the keyboard as they chuckled at something on the screen.
This happened every time.
Hero got distracted, forgot all about Superhero in a snap.
They wouldn't be playing another round.
"Sorry, just a second, Supervillain's asking about dinner plans and stuff."
"Hm." Superhero picked up Hero's king that they'd knocked off the board, gazing at it for a moment. Then they set it down and began picking up the rest of the pieces, putting them away rather than setting them up for another game. There was no point.
"I don't know if I can do another game," Hero said distractedly, still not looking up at them. They hadn't seen that Superhero was already putting it all away. "Villain just got done for today, they said they're coming to pick me up."
"Hm." It really didn't matter what Superhero said to that, they could've told Hero they were pregnant and that Hero was the other parent and Hero wouldn't have reacted. They'd almost entirely forgotten Superhero already.
Despite this, oddly enough, the first sign that things had changed had started when Hero started visiting Superhero more and more often. Superhero had been confused as to why they'd been allowed to, before things had finally clicked when Hero's prison outfit had disappeared in favor of more expensive clothes. It was finally when the electric manacles that Superhero wore on their wrists and ankles had disappeared from Hero's body that Superhero finally realized what was going on.
"Yeah, because things are getting settled in more they get to work less hours! Supervillain still has to work for the rest of the day, though."
"Shame." Superhero really didn't care.
Hero weren't a prisoner anymore. Somehow, Hero was free.
They'd never told Superhero this, but it'd been obvious months ago. By now, Superhero would've been delusional if they thought Hero was still meant to be in a cell like them.
As that shift happened they began to drift apart from Superhero, visiting them not quite as often and never actually focusing on them. They were there, but they didn't really see Superhero, never really heard them. Only paying attention when they were trying not to lose at chess, only ever talking about how great their partners were.
Hero was free, and they were comfortable. They weren't going to throw that all away to try and help out Superhero and the countless other heroes imprisoned in cells similar to theirs.
Superhero watched as Hero chuckled at something one of their partners had probably texted them, their fingers moving quickly to respond. Their smile sent a pang through Superhero's heart.
The first feeling was of the utter sadness of being left out. Even if they still came to visit them, Hero had an entire life outside of them, outside of the white walls and bright lights that were all Superhero had known for the last two years. They got to go home to their partners and a fancy dinner, while Superhero was stuck here, forgotten.
They weren't sure why Hero kept visiting them, even when they made it so obvious that they didn't care about them. They'd engage for a little bit, but then Superhero could actually watch the moment Hero stopped paying attention.
Part of them wondered if Hero wasn't really coming back for them, but rather just trying to cling onto something from their old life.
Superhero wasn't quite sure how they felt about that.
The second feeling was one of anger. Hero was just fine with walking out of here, leaving Superhero and all the other heroes behind and going home. They'd done nothing so far to try and help Superhero out of here, not wanting to disrupt their new life. They walked free, free of the manacles, free of guilt. And Superhero didn't understand how.
The third realization was that even though Hero was here, Superhero had lost them.
Somehow that feeling was worse than the first two.
There came a loud blaring horn that blasted throughout the room, Hero jumped and nearly dropped their phone. Superhero, who was used to the sound, raised an eyebrow at them.
"Sorry," they smiled apologetically. "Not used to that."
Which was only a further sign that Hero was no longer a prisoner.
The sound indicated the opening of the outer cell door, and sure enough, Superhero looked up to see the huge vault-like door sliding smoothly open.
Villain stepped inside, dark clothes buffeting out behind them, the heels of their shoes clicking loudly on the white tiled floor.
Hero jumped up. "Villain!" They exclaimed, rushing over to their partner. "I didn't know you were here already- and I didn't think you'd come all the way in here!"
"Yeah, well, I wanted to walk you out." Villain slid a hand around Hero's waist, kissing their cheek before looking around the cell. "Besides, I haven't been here in a while, I thought I'd check in on the security of the cells."
"It's working fine, like usual," Superhero grumbled.
They sat on the other side of a wall of laser bars, the bars had previously split in front of them to allow the table that they'd been using to play chess to fit between them. Now that the cell door had been open the bars had slid closed, and Superhero was more closed off from the two of them. Another sign that they weren't really a part of Hero's new life.
Villain glowered at them, but otherwise didn't respond. They made sure Superhero knew their attention was now entirely focused on Hero. "We should probably get back now, Supervillain volunteered for me to make dinner and I want to have it finished by the time we get home."
"Yes!" Hero pumped their fist. "Your cooking is always the best!"
Villain smiled, already pulling them out of the cell.
While it was obvious that the way Hero immediately forgot about them was genuine, Villain was purposefully trying their hardest to show to Superhero that they weren't important here.
Superhero wasn't standing for that. "See you later, Hero!"
Hero blinked, glancing back as if they were just remembering Superhero was still there. Perhaps they were. "Oh, yeah, see you!"
In that moment, Superhero had never been able to empathize more with a discarded used tissue.
There came another blaring horn as Villain opened the cell door again, and the next thing Superhero knew Hero was completely out of sight.
Superhero was alone now in the bright white empty room.
The sound of the door closing seemed to echo a thousand time.
Hero stared at the door for a long while, taking deep breaths. They were not going to cry over someone who wouldn't have even spared them a second thought.
Letting out one more sigh they stood, moving over to their small bed in the corner of the cell.
They knew it would only be a matter of time before Hero stopped visiting them completely, before Hero's partners managed to completely drag them away from Superhero.
And they knew that their feeling of being forgotten now would be nothing in comparison to what it would feel like when they were left behind for good.

Heyo shutters!
I've been slowly getting through FGO after getting into it thanks to a LB6 writeup that made it sound fun (and Oberon/Castoria are both so awesome looking). While getting through singularities F/Orleans/Septem I was mostly thinking the story is alright so far with a lot of awkward moments but still bearable...
And then I met Blackbeard. And my enjoyment quickly plummeted :c. This kind of comic relief pervert character is such a low thing for writers to do, bringing down Euryale and Drake just by existing, when they were both so cool up to that point. The game hasn't been kind to its female characters design wise so far, but writing wise it was still good enough, so I'd be lying if I said I'm not worried now...is this kinda thing prevalent in future episodes?
Uhhhhhhhhh
UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Let me preface this by saying I have not played FGO since the Lostbelt arcs started.
Look I'm going to be lying if I say pervy comic relief like Blackbeard is just in Okeanos and it's only upward from there. In fact, you're in for worse, a lot worse. Agartha-worse.
But it also gets a lot better too.
FGO is a very mixed bag quality-wise, what with the FGO team having writers with very different styles, AND who are inconsistent themselves. You are going to get a lot of shit like Blackbeard. In fact, Blackbeard is annoying, but ultimately harmless compared to some of the worst FGO had to offer. In fact the last I saw of him, he had been somewhat rehabilitated into being a friendly if cringey otaku character.
But FGO does have its heights, including some incredibly good character work its other mobage rivals can barely compete with. If 70% of FGO you're going to be treated to eyerolling misogyny, 30% of the time they'll make something sweet to genuinely incredible. If you manage your expectations, there are some great surprises waiting.
For example, you may be looking forward to Lostbelt 6, the British Lostbelt, but before that, the gamechanger was the Camelot singularity, (which was also Singularity 6). Its villain was a shocking take on the most familiar face of Type-Moon, and a fantastic antagonist.
And then you summon her as a playable character and the villainous character isn't there while half the dialogue is making fun of her having huge boobs now.
That's uh, that's what FGO is like.
You'll be doing a lot of cherrypicking. There's some truly fantastic stuff in there, but getting to it is going to depend on how well you can deal with the rest (the majority to be honest) of FGO.
There's sadly also a lot of good to amazing stuff that was only in events, and in FGO most events never come back after their rerun (even when they're somewhat story relevant, mysteriously) so if you want to read them you'll have to look up a playthrough online.
One of these that I greatly recommend you look up is Aeaean Spring Breeze, to be read after the main story chapter, Salem. It's a short, simple, comedic, but devastatingly heartfelt epilogue to Circe's arc, one of my favorite characters in all of FGO. She's one of the best examples of what FGO's female characters can be when they're taken seriously as opposed to being purely vehicles for fanservice.

Final Thoughts
Okay! I went back and replayed the final sequence again and was much, much happier with both how everyone looked sans helmets and with some randomly varied flavor text in the background. I remain really, really happy overall with how this game ended both generally and for my particular runthrough.
The run-up to the Morphic Pool was really, REALLY creepy, and I liked the ways they threw all the li'l brainies at you to start wearing down the group resources. It does remain hilarious that the noodle-armed rogue was rowing the boat, though maybe that's why we couldn't get out of the way of the stalactite in time. The brain was fun gross and I couldn't quite tell--was the voice the same as the narrator? That would have been a nice touch! I did absolutely roll a natural 20 on that DC 99 check to Dominate the Brain (loved that setup in the dialogue window), but alas, the brain took off to destroy everything anyway. The biggest issue I had here was figuring out how to get past that dumb pile of rocks for that very mediocre chest.
In the Astral Plane, I managed to get enough brains to craft several potions of psychic resistance that I never used, but which made me feel better to have. There was never a chance my Tav was going to let Orpheus stay bound (I'm still working on her backstory, but I know she comes into the game feeling strongly anti-authoritarian and only gets moreso over the course of the events), so the only question I had was what was going to happen to the Emperor when I made that choice.
Sidebar--the Ansur fight & environ was one of my absolute favorite locales of the entire game. I loved the set design, the puzzles, the music, the reveals, and the final fight--I thought it was a fantastic setpiece altogether, and the reveal that the Dream Guardian was not only an illithid, but Balduran, made me actually gasp. Getting a conclusion to that questline as narratively satisfying as this one made me really happy, and Wyll's response to its conclusion with his dad--becoming the Blade of Avernus--I also thought was incredibly fitting for both that character and the choices he made within this world.
Anyway, I played through becoming an illithid just to see what happened (Astarion's comment about preferring any option that doesn't change your beautiful face--I felt that, bro), and as soon as I saw that grey triangle torso I was like, nope, sorry Prince, tagging you right back in on this one. Just can't do it, even when the fate of the city's on the line. I've spent too many hours looking at her janky eyes and her scarred lip to turn them all into tentacles now. I wasn't surprised the Emperor turned on me, but I didn't expect him to just full-on go Netherbrain and leave us in his rainbow skull.
I loved, loved, love the rally scene in the High Hall. What an awesome way to remind you of how many ways you've made a difference in some of these quests. The owlbear & Dannon along with the Strange Ox were my favorites, but seeing Barcus, Zevlor, and even Isobel & Dame Aylin was just wonderful. Really loved this entire sequence.
This is the first time I've ever really both utilized summoned allies in a big fight like this and also felt how much they turned the tide! A fantastic balanced encounter in the courtyard, and I called down so many Harpers & Fists & the owlbear & the dragonfire (so COOL) and Yurgir (got stuck in a building and did poke damage for the rest of the fight) and Rolan's tower (absolutely LOVED that you could save his fam & they could come live with him). It truly took an encounter that was really, really difficult into something absolutely manageable and in some ways quite easy. They told you to gather allies and by GOD I GATHERED ALLIES. I feel rewarded for my exploration!!
Of course, it then became utterly paramount to keep all summoned allies alive, but thankfully that wasn't much of an issue. My rogue by the end of this had Celestial Haste, two cunning action dashes, extra movement from momentum, and could easily clear 120+ ft a round and still have actions at the end of her movement. Plus she had a longbow that gave Guiding Bolt on a hit (GOD it's such a good longbow, I want to go back and play more combat just to play with it again), so even the few times the mindflayers were able to Dominate some Harpers I was able to get over there with either her or Lae'zel jumping rampart to rampart across the entire map & break their concentration. A super fun, exciting fight with a lot of variety. Orpheus is powerful as a mindflayer! The power is not small! He just doesn't have a horizontal mouth or a nose anymore & I can't do that to Tav!
Still never figured out how to get into that blocked-off area at the south of that map. Found a random forum post that suggested there was a chasm you could jump into to access the "Upper City Sewers," but the only things I found in the chasms was death, womp womp.
Anyway, got up to the brain (very cool cutscene! Not a snowball's chance my Tav was actually able to haul herself up that stem!) and REALLY liked the brain fight. I didn't have any issues navigating it (though a timer on the battle is always cool!) and only got Lae'zel & Orpheus killed once on the first run when I didn't understand how the Marked for Negation electric balls worked. The final cutscene where the brain fell in the water was beautifully animated; I loved seeing those NPCs keep cropping up in this sequence. I liked the image of everyone hauling themselves out of the bay onto the dock & Astarion complaining bitterly about how often he's having to swim on this trip.
My first run-through of the final dock conversation made me very sad. I didn't like Minsc's pithy comment about sunflowers for Astarion at all, and I hated watching Karlach's heart break behind that hideous helmet. (The stats were so good, and the aesthetics were so awful...she was in my party 99% of the time so Hide Helmet worked almost always...except when it mattered the most, ugh.) The second time, being able to see her face & Wyll's really helped that scene land and it really, really worked for me. I still don't think there's a fantastic in-universe Watsonian explanation for why we can't fix her engine for good with all these acres of infernal iron we've been collecting, but ACCEPTING THAT ON FACE VALUE FOR THE MOMENT I thought the writing and acting in that entire sequence were beautiful. Karlach's voice actress in particular just wrecked me. Beautiful, beautiful writing at the end; just wish the structural tentpoles were a little stronger to justify the moment.
On my second, helmet-less runthrough, when Astarion started to burn, Halsin made a much more sober comment along the lines of "he will miss that freedom; it may be some time before we see him again," and I much preferred that. It felt right in line with how my Tav felt about the situation, and she was very grateful for his empathy there. I still wish we'd figured out a way to have a celebration or something together, though I appreciate Wyll & Karlach's absence would have put a serious damper on things.
I am glad, I think, that I waited to see Karlach's ending after the patch. This read so determinedly hopeful, even with the very bittersweet sting, that I think to have anything less would have really undercut her journey even more than the options we currently have. All in all, I was very satisfied with sending her and Wyll to Avernus while we figure out how to fix her. Their final cutscene charging into the credits was the bomb.
The Astarion wrap-up scene was almost, ALMOST perfect. The choice to tell him we'd find a way to get him back in the sun was EXACTLY what I wanted to say (which was a theme in this game--there were only a handful of places in the entire game where I was frustrated by not being able to react the way I wanted--so impressive, Larian!). I just wish they'd been able to have one kiss in a room with walls and a ceiling, weh.
Anyway! The game is over, I'm immensely satisfied with all outcomes and party storylines with a few minor asterisks here and there, and I'm already plotting out several pieces to flesh out the places I want to explore. The characters are so rich and dynamic and reactive, the world feels so very real and robust, and I'm eager to live in it a little longer. I don't think I'm going to start another playthrough anytime soon--for me my first run is usually "canon", and I want to sit and marinate in this version of the world a little longer--but eventually I'll probably try a Durge just to see what the deal is. It'll honestly be incredibly hard not to romance Astarion, but we'll see! Maybe I'll just make Tavish again with a tweaked backstory. I don't know much about the Durge at all, so it'd be pretty blind!
What a good game. What a good time! I probably will go back and see what achievements I can pull easily--I was delighted to get one for "saving every tiefling possible through the end of the game," yeah boiiiii. Now to unblacklist everyone and see what the heck I've missed out on while spending every waking moment smooching an insufferable elf!

Okay but dere HOW DOES HE PROPOSE
Rings are gorgeous btw
(Rings referenced in this ask from this post)
It was a normal day, tbh. No fancy dinner, no pretty views, no bath with roses, no going out for a date or anything.
We had just gotten back from a fantastic week of traveling owo. All the views, wonderful food, and experiencing new things with him happened then :3. In fact, the whole trip was something he surprised me with!
On this day, we were resting to recoup. Absolutely chilling without much plans to go outside. We are just being cozy comfy and spending time doing mundane things. Watching TV, playing games, perhaps ordering in, wearing pajamas and all uwu.
I start binging a show I really like and he's watching with me. At some point Ichi gets eepy. Says he's gonna go take a nap in our room. He knows I'm really into this show now, so he tells me to keep watching and that he can always catch up later. I ask him if he's sure and he insists, so I do. I'm there for the next few hours watching while he sets his plan in motion in the bedroom.
After finishing the first season of this show, I'm getting up from the couch, stretching and going to the kitchen for a drink and to get out some condiments. I had ordered our dinner to be delivered a little while ago. And it should be here soon.
This is when Ichi calls me from our room. I call back and he says he needs me in there for a sec.
I open our door and peek in and don't see him, before fully coming in and looking around with a "where are you?"
And then my eyes fall on the bulletin board/calendar above our desk. Attached to it are a bunch of candid photos of me from our trip that I never even knew he took. They were all beautiful, and it had my heart swelling. There's a sticky note in the middle of them that reads "down here sunshine" (sunshine being his main pet name for me) with an arrow pointing down to the desk.
And following that arrow down I see an envelope with a pink wax seal of a cherry blossom. It's sitting between two (fake) water lillies, and there's a few chocolates strewn about.
Slowly I take the letter and open it, tears springing in my eyes already after the first few lines. By the end of the most heartfelt letter I had ever read, detailing everything he loved about me and how much I had changed his life, I was a sniffling wet cheeked mess.
I set the letter down and turn around to look for him, seeing him leaning against the doorway to our en suite bathroom (where he was hiding when I came in).
He smiles softly when he sees the way I look at him.
I can't help but ask in the tiniest voice if he really meant all that in the letter.
And his smile grows with a bit of a knowing chuckle as he makes his way toward me, telling me of course he does.
He comes and holds my hands and tells me I'm everything to him.
"And there's something else..."
He lets go and takes a step back before kneeling on one knee before my very eyes and I am releasing the sobs I was holding in as I read that letter with an "Oh my god."
He tells me he really is his happiest with me and that he couldn't imagine a life going forward without me before pulling out the black box and opening it to showcase this ring:
Tumblr media
"Would you do me the honor of being my wife? Will you marry me?"
And of course I am absolutely saying yes with my whole DDD chest, snotty nosed and all lol.
He puts the ring on me then we are embracing.
And after I've calmed down a little and have gotten cleaned up, he also lets me know he ordered us dessert too, to celebrate. One of these strawberry pizzas (I've heard they're so good from a place nearby irl but haven't gotten a chance to try one yet rip).
Tumblr media
Seeing it once it was delivered almost had me crying again <3333333
He is truly the best man, lover, fiancé, and hubby ever 🥺🩷🩷🩷🩷
And he showed me that again when we made love that night 🫶🏾.
Thank you for asking Kitten! Writing this made me so so so happy 🥹💜💜💜💜💜.

Early 3D Sonic Games and The G.A.S. Scale.
I'm sure you've seen this image going around, about how Sonic had a rough transition to 3D. Which is arguably true, here's a fantastic video about it from a guy who loves Sonic Adventure. I've watched many videos in his series "Sonic was always good" and I realized that there's a pretty good scale for rating the 3D Sonic games that's very similar to the W.A.S. scale for anime.
Good (up to 10)
Abuseable Jank (up to 10)
So-Bad-Its-Good (Percentage)
Good is obvious, it is how good the Sonic game in question actually is. If you like fish, you could replace this with Bad and invert the scale. HOWEVER: You need to acknowledge that nobody actually rates anything they like outside of 7-9, and ignore that pressure. You need to leave behind you Jackie Chan/10's and A Little Bit Of Something For Everyone and give an actual real rating out of 10, unweighted from societal usage. How much of the game you genuinely believe isn't a mistake.
Abuseable Jank is a separate scale. This can be a good or bad thing depending on who you are, and how much knowledge of the game you have. Like yeah you can just spam spindash the entire time you play a speed mission in Sonic Adventure 2 to go incredibly fast, not everyone is going to enjoy spamming a button the entire mission. Or if you don't know something, it could make it harder to enjoy the game if the best part is breaking it. Like all of the gems Sonic gets in Sonic 06 that let him jump infinite times and shoot himself into the sky. This would be added or subtracted (or completely ignored) to the Good rating depending on the person, bringing a games potential to all the way down to -10 or up to 20.
So-Bad-Its-Good is a percentage, it's in the name but to be more clear it's about how much you can enjoy making fun of the problems the game has while playing it. Shadow the Hedgehog would have an incredibly high percentage. Yeah, the cut scenes make no sense and the story is confusing with how it's laid out. It also has the 2 most iconic lines in the Adventure Era of "that DAMN 4th chaos emerald" and "Like taking candy from a baby, which is fine by me" which are only elevated by how out-of-nowhere they feel. The mostly-skippable vehicles that are almost entirely useless are hilariously bad, but largely unobtrusive. Missing a single collectable and having to run through the entire level again uh, isn't fun ever though. So it wouldn't count towards this percentage.
The reason why it's a percentage is to denote how much of the missing Good rating can still be fun to play with the right mindset. Sonic 06 has a pretty solid 1-3* in the Good rating, but it's in such a truly awful state that you can do so much dumb stuff in it that it has a So-Bad-Its-Good rating of like 90% for some people. That alongside an Abuseable Jank of score 8-10 can legitimately make Sonic 06 peoples favorite Sonic game from the Adventure Era with a score close to the maximum of 20.
I'm not going to give any of my actual opinions on the Adventure Era games myself because I haven't played them in like 10+ years, you'll just have to form your own opinions on a reblog to this post if you want to see a full rating. (Shadow the Hedgehog is my favorite though)
*Some people think it's worth giving points for the good level design & story in Sonic 06, despite the fact the rest of the game's problems makes it entirely unenjoyable.

i have a 600 person queue to chew through, so let's make another post.
i'm level 95 and have finished the third solo instance, plus a few quests after it (but not that far.)
this expansion feels very political in a way that's different from the previous expacs. ff14 doesn't really hide its politics and never has; it's always been a story about the power of friendship overcoming the most terrible of foes. and in that respect, it's very simple and straightforward. a little basic, maybe, but the core theme of "you should actually listen to what other people want" is very honest and true to itself.
wuk lamat wants peace. and peace is a wonderful thing to want, but what does it actually mean? it means looking at how your society is set up. it means looking at who has advantages, and who doesn't, and why that is. and then when you find out, you have to do something about it. a truly egalitarian society is a pipe dream, but it's the thought that counts.
that doesn't mean it's not worth trying. and even if you fail, you'll have learned valuable lessons in the attempt. this, too, is a constant refrain of ff14: you have to try, even if it's hard, even if you're not sure you're going to succeed. you have to put in the effort.
it's interesting how the claimants each display different parts of this struggle. koana's lust for innovation is all well and good, but there's no depth to it. bakool ja ja wants power for the sake of power, to justify but not right past wrongs. zoraal ja — well, i suspect we'll be getting more into him soon. i do not think he will accept defeat so easily.
and wuk lamat is so clearly meant to be the victor. this entire setup is perfect for her, and while she's plainly struggled along the path, she's still tried. she's given it her all, and she hasn't backed down even when it's tough. it's admirable, i think.
on the whole, i'm really liking this expansion! it feels very reminiscent of stormblood, in that the warrior of light is kind of just There and not particularly integral to the actual story. but after all the drama of the past two expacs this is nothing short of a relief. god knows we needed a rest.
some misc thoughts:
how the fuck is kenteramm still alive, lmao. i stopped msq right before going to his house (sidequests spawned and i had to do them) so i guess?? we'll find out?? most HD roegadyn i've ever seen tho, damn
i can Feel a twist looming. with the rite of succession nearing its end, there's gotta be something beyond "search for the city of gold" to carry us five more levels.
on a gameplay note, i have no idea when to use vice of thorns. it seems as though i have the freedom to use it whenever, which is nice, but i like a slightly more rigid burst window... i suppose i'll just use it after party buffs go out. other red mage changes are v good so far.
i did a leveling queue as summoner this morning to try and keep pace with red mage and lucked into the level 93 dungeon (the top one i could do, nice). these dps queues tho. killer. (i'd comment on summoner changes but l o l)
THE VALIGARMANDA TRIAL WAS FANTASTIC. i did it in trust (what a surprise! i never thought they'd do a trust trial again) and died when the boss was at like 12% health because....... i was trying to RDM LB3 and the avalanche got me and none of the NPCs broke me out of the snowball. THANKS A LOT, ASSHOLES. went fine the second time though.
as a red mage main, alisaie as your trust healer is fucking hilarious.
this goes without saying but the game looks so beautiful, goddamn.
i still have 83 in queue but i've run out of things to say. LET ME IN

Fanwork creators self rec! When you get this, reply with your five favorite fics/art/podfics/etc. that you've made, then pass on to others. Let’s spread the self-love 🌼
Well, I'm a fic writer, so prepare for an esoteric assortment of fics in no particular order!
I'll open with my most recent, and the one I consider my best. This is a found family hurt/comfort fic starring Team Dark (comprised of Shadow the hedgehog and his two closest friends Rouge, and Omega, for those unfamiliar with the franchise.) Shadow is immortal, nearly indestructible, and saddled with some truly terrible PTSD around the ones he cares about dying on him, and it was interesting to portray that through a narration style I'd never tried before. This was also the fic where I really fleshed out how I write Omega, who is my all-time favorite character in the Sonic franchise. He's the most delightful blend of blunt and violent but also more caring than he lets on.
This one also deals with the unusually serious subject matter of post-mortem care. I remember waffling about posting this fic for weeks, worried that people would think a Sonic fanfic with such a down-to-earth subject matter would be scoffed at. Surprise! I was wrong. Once I posted it, this fic got a ton of positive attention, which I was grateful for.
Next up is a truly strange pick- it's a League of Legends fanfic, yet it's not about Veigar, the character I hyperfixated hard on for a solid year. I like the fics I've written with Veigar, don't get me wrong, but I like this one better. It stars Kassadin, a lone desert warrior who lost his family to the darkness he's trying to find the heart of, and Kai'sa, a woman who was consumed by said darkness but managed to wrestle back control of her body.
I really got to develop a unique character narration for the lead, Kassadin. It's a particularly strong, mature, and unique character voice, one that I enjoyed writing a lot and am quite proud of. I also leveraged some fantastic dramatic irony- anyone familiar with League lore knows that the monster he encounters is actually his long-lost daughter, Kai'sa. Yet his attitude towards that fact continually fluctuates, before ending on a negative-leaning note, something that was very challenging for me to do! (I'm a chronic therapy-speak writer, something I'm constantly working to avoid.)
I think it's underrated. League isn't a big fandom anyway, and I posted this onto an otherwise Veigar-focused blog. Perhaps I should post it on AO3.
I just had to mention one of my famous Sigma Overwatch fanfics on this list. I wrote a shitload of fic for this character, and almost all of it blew the fuck up back in 2019. I was the first person to post fic for Sigma once he came out on this website! (Not this fic in particular, mind you, but I thought that fact was worth a mention.)
Of my absolute deluge of Sigma fic, this is probably my favorite. The rest are good, but are a little simple. This one, though, has the thematic thread of "control" woven throughout it that I'm quite proud of. I also feel that this is the fic in which I captured the morally grey character of Moira the best- her emotions towards Sigma are complicated, but ultimately, she is his superior and the one responsible for a portion of his mistreatment here at Talon. This fic is essentially about her coming to that realization, and I think that's a powerful moment. It's a character dynamic I haven't seen anywhere else in media/fic. I'm proud that I wrote it.
Okay this next one is weird. By all odds, it should be my least favorite work, right? I'm not a romance writer. Doomfist is far from my favorite character. Hell, I'm not attracted to men, yet this fic continues to linger in my conscience as one that I'm immensely fond of.
I wrote it for and to evoke the writing style of the lovely amazing @ow-old-men. Gabe (op of that blog) has such fucking amazing imagery in his fics, and my imitation of that resulted in some of my favorite imagery and vibes I've ever written. I also think it's some rather strong character work- it's a moment where a confident, practically invincible socialite allows the mask to slip for just a second with a stranger.
Particularly, it's that singular moment that the entire fic was based around, the one that I suggested to Gabe in the first place. The idea that one of the proudest and most powerful men in the world would kneel for you without question so that you could kiss his forehead. Idk man, I still remain in love with the vibes of this one, even though it's so far outside the confines of my usual writing.
And finally, to finish this list off, I just have to plug my longest posted fic to date. This is my incredibly niche crossover of two obscure sci-fi shows that have my whole heart. It was also my first true practice at writing a long-form character arc, to which I think I succeeded.
Kitt, the AI from Knight Rider, wakes up far in the future and realizes that his closest companion is likely long gone. Over the course of this fic, he goes from wanting to deactivate to learning to open back up and allow a new person into his life. There's also some good ol' buddy-cop shenanigans between him and Garibaldi, the security officer aboard the space station that Kitt wakes up on, including a particularly fun scene where Kitt helps him cheat at cards.
This fic is showing its age just a tad with some of the writing and characterization of the Babylon 5 characters, but I'm still immensely, immensely fond and proud of it. Writing this fic taught me a lot that I'm applying to my current projects now. I wouldn't be where I am now without this one.

I'm seeing some people raise the possibility that "col1ardgreens" is not a real person, but whether the claim is legitimate or not, the Anti-Blackness and violent hostility toward Black people is real and has been for some time. I'll post as I'm aware of any new details but damn I hate social media sometimes.
You can easily look up the replies to that post taking that as a legitimate Black person, racial slurs and everything. I know all of my countless Black mutuals, friends and family right now who are being called psyops and feds by supposed ally "leftists" who feel so violently angry at being told something by Black people.
Right now most of my mutuals especially on twitter are being called slurs, being harassed both by leftists, liberals and conservatives alike.
Nothing brings people together on an issue quite like Anti-Blackness.
It's also really apparent how many people aren't familiar with organizing spaces or the time or effort it takes to build up organizing efforts, especially with the technological developments of the last few decades and the complications of social media.
When you can submit someone's tweets as evidence in a court of law, when the internet becomes a space to radicalize and give information to people from the age they can start looking at a screen, when we have a visual connection that allows us to see past a nation's propaganda attempts, it's no longer just twitter drama.
These things all have very tangible effects on Black lives, but it's clear it's just a game to too many people. It's why so many Black people reject the term "BIPOC" in how it links our issues to people who also perpetuate Anti-Blackness.
Anything Black people do as an organization tool and to bring focus and attention to specific people in Black communities, which is what phrases like "rest in power" and "say their name" were modified to do is then dismissed as frivolous twitter nonsense by non-Black people (and frankly some Black people who like to align with them) and it's tiring.
A friend of mine from a few years back, one of the most brilliant women I've ever met is a digital organizer. She would seize up thread titles and names in order to prevent white supremacists from easily being able to organize. I find it completely asinine how people play off being online and in digital spaces as some fictionalized world that means nothing when it is one of the largest and easiest sources of propagandizing people available.
Social media and online spaces also are a fantastic way to stay in community with and listen to the needs of Black disabled people and the day to day struggles they go through. But just a few weeks ago, the same people were also subjected to harassment and casual eugenics over the same refusal to listen and engage.
I've seen so many people dismiss a tool used by Black people on digital platforms that has seen use and origin passed down in Black communities orally (so miss me with that poorly cited Wikipedia article because you spent five minutes googling a gotcha) that don't get captured or acknowledged by white scholars. "Rest in Power" was not some 2000s thing. "Say their name" is for Black victims, especially for cis Black women as well as trans and all queer Black people across the gender spectrum.
We have living ancestors we can easily contact to verify. Several of my family members were Black panthers, they were journalists and worked in the Black press, and they were there to know firsthand that it's not some new thing like those poorly researched community notes are.
But Black oral traditions are not recognized by white scholars and then nobody wants to have the conversation about appropriation. Because that's what "rest in power" is a conversation about.
And me being triply marginalized in that I'm Black, queer and also disabled, I learned a long time ago not to trust anyone or ever trust in allyship because truly nobody will have your back. I don't even expect most Black people to show any concern let alone non-Black people.
That doesn't mean I will ever withdraw my support for other genocides or for the plights of other oppressed groups because you really can't understand Palestinian genocide without addressing or understanding Anti-Blackness, but I also know that Black bodies are just seen as commodities to extract from and these last few weeks have made that especially apparent.

omg bestie you should talk about your biomutant ocs' powers
omg so true i should (i know this is me, i sent myself this ask)
so this is mostly based on my partner and i's rewrite of biomutant lore that expands on a lot of the concepts presented in the original game. so there's some details i'm taking from there rather than from the game. dw about it <3
also hi pardon the tag but since u showed interest hello @wherearetheplants here's some Info
general info: in this universe, magic does exist, but only in very specific forms, and it's referred to as psi-magic (or psi-powers). there are two major forms: innate psi-powers, which are easier to master but generally weaker; and environmental psi-powers, which are generally stronger but harder to control. essentially, innate psi-powers are ones you're born with, while environmental ones are ones that are triggered by exposure to certain environmental stimuli.
there's also a whole mythology around psi-powers but we don't have time for that <3 so i'll run over some of my biomutant ocs' psi-powers!!
sol whitetail - sol whitetail has a case of incredibly powerful environmental psi-powers that they have effectively mastered in a very short time. they don't have a name for this ability, but for those who know biomutant, it's based on the 'rad wisps' mutation in the game.
effectively, sol's body is highly radioactive after they were brutalized and left to die in a radioactive zone years ago. though they recovered physically, the radiation never truly left their body, and over time they've taught themself to harness it in combat in the form of bright violet bursts. they're immune to it, but no one else really is.
sol essentially can just bombard those around them with radiation until they succumb to radiation poisoning. it's as brutal as it sounds. they rarely let it get that far, though, and mostly they use it for intimidation. especially because, if they expend themself TOO much, their body begins to break down slightly and their violet, radioactive blood leaks from their eyes and nose.
blink nocturne - blink nocturne has innate psi-powers, and at first glance his main ability doesn't seem particularly intimidating or useful in combat. he can teleport short distances at high speeds, creating a loud booming sound like a thunderclap. for those who know biomutant a li'l better, yes this is based on the 'blink' psi-power in game.
blink did name his ability after himself, as is generally the custom in this universe. he also found a good way to apply it in combat: if he gets enough of a running start, he can 'blink' himself towards an enemy with enough force to knock them back and do some serious damage.
his psi-powers don't have nearly the same level of dramatic side effects as sol's, but they still take a toll on him physically, especially in his bad leg (which was permanently injured when he was young). he can only 'blink' so many times before he needs to lie down and rest, so he uses this ability sparingly.
burgh mothmouth - burgh's psi-powers are innate in that they weren't triggered by any environmental factors, but he wasn't born with them. rather, he taught himself to use this ability after observing other, more experienced psi-power users doing this. his ability is, as you may be able to guess if you're familiar with the base game, based on the 'moth mouth' ability.
essentially, burgh can release a green mist, which takes the shape of fluttering moths, at those around him, which clouds their senses and disorients them. in extreme cases, overexposure to burgh's 'moth mouth' can cause permanent blindness. while it's not very useful in direct combat, as burgh must be concentrating to keep the mist in place, it is fantastic for ambushes.
burgh primarily uses 'moth mouth' to disorient those he's sneaking up on, making them have a harder time defending themselves against him when he finally strikes. occasionally, he also uses it to turn his enemies against each other, making them fight each other instead of him (and giving him a chance to flee, if needed).
tegu longshot - tegu actually has no psi-powers. i considered giving them some, but they don't. and they're fine with that.

hmm lets say The Doors - Soft Parade for the album ask game?? ✨ (underrated yes it isss)
Oh Gosh, the one album by them that I didn't buy and I don't want it - although there are some good tracks, but I usually don't listen to it. I actually had to listen to it again to give you answers, so without further ado <3
1. Favourite and least favourite track?
"Runnin' Blue" would be my favorite. I don't know, it's just so catchy, plus the intro always gets me. Morrison just sings without any instruments, his voice makes wonders to me <3
Now to the least favorite, I thought I will go with "Do It", but Densmore's drumming is fantastic in this one, so nope. So I will go with "Wishful Sinful" then. It's too much of an orchestral piece, just doesn't fit in and it's kind of boring to me on the long run. I never skipped it, because I don't listen to this album often, but like, boring in the long run XD
2. Side A or B? (for later releases: first half or second half; for doubles: A, B, C or D?)
Oh, definitely side B and that includes: "Wild Child", "Runnin' Blue", "Wishful Sinful" and "The Soft Parade". Excluding "Wishful Sinful", this side has almost all of my favorite tracks on this album <3
3. Thoughts on the cover art/packaging?
Tumblr media
It's nothing special, like comparing it to the third album, for example, it ain't nothing special. Maybe if the band was a lot closer it would be better, but like, I don't know. Even the font isn't good. You just gotta look at any other album of theirs and the covers are better XD
4. Are any of the tracks important/meaningful to you? Why?
I don't think there are any? Wait, let me read the lyrics XD Nope, there aren't any, I think I like those few songs for the melody and Jim's voice mostly <3
5. When did you first hear the album?
Oh God, was it when I just listened to all of their album at one day? It was definitely around December 2022. 22nd of December - my mom's birthday! It was when I've decided to listen to one album of their per day. Just one listen to get the general feel. It was when I was getting into older music, just before my obsession with The Doors truly started.
6. Have your thoughts on the album changed since you first heard it?
Oh yeah, they did. I was just getting used to their sound and you know, this album is far different from the rest and I liked it quite a lot, just to then realize that it's boring in the long run and doesn't have the feeling that for example "Waiting For The Sun" or "L.A. Woman" brings in when I listen to them. So the opinion went from "Hey, this is good!" to "Eh, I can live without it".
7. Are you a fan of other works by the artist/in the genre?
Of course! "Waiting For The Sun" is my favorite The Doors album. I have this one certain day during each month when I listen to it and feel myself calming down while each song plays. "Love Street", "Summer's Almost Gone", "Wintertime Love", "Yes, The River Knows", "Five To One" those are the few I'm mad about - I love "Yes, The River Knows" so much that I learned how to play the vocal melody on classic guitar <3 You can only imagine how happy I was when I've saw it at the record store. I took it without any thoughts, just bought it right away!
8. A lyric you like from the album
Definitely the intro to "Runnin' Blue"
Poor Otis dead and gone Left me here to sing his song Pretty little girl with the red dress on Poor Otis dead and gone
It's just so catchy, the rest of the song is wacky in a way, but like the line "Pretty little girl with the red dress on" is so well done, it just gets into your ear and doesn't want to leave, you know
9. How did you discover the album?
Been listening to one The Doors album per day and I just played it because it was the next in queue. Nothing much of a big discovery I know, but what can you do? XD
10. Do you own/would you like to own a physical copy of the album?
I had like two chances to get it at the record store and even if I thought about buying it, seeing it there for the first time, there's always another album I want more. Plus, I think I can live without it. I mean, I only have to get the first The Doors album to have all of them at home that I like. So yeah, I don't want it that much.

In Defense of New SW Makeup:
(From a special FX Makeup Artist)
Tumblr media
There has been a lot of contention going around with regards to the look of certain characters in the "Disney Canon" - it's all Lucasfilm friends, it's got the same teams George Lucas had...but that's another argument for another day.
I'm not going to harp on the fact why most of these characters can't look like their stylized animated versions because I feel that point has been made by others already, no I am going to point out why they look the way that they do and why it is actually a positive thing.
In the late 2000's (after the prequels) high definition television and film completely changed the Fx Makeup industry, facial prosthetics could not hold up under the now crisp eye of the new technology and it looked incredibly fake on screen - Silicon prosthetics were the exception of course but they were relatively new and VERY expensive and hard to use. And because they were heavier they still didn't work for big pieces like lekkus and other headpieces.
Tumblr media
And because of this CGI became the norm for fantasy and horror characters for most (if not all) of the 2010's.
FX makeup artists truly thought their positions were obsolete in this new high-def world and that they would have to settle for B-movies for the rest of their careers.
But then Disney came along with both the MCU The Force Awakens and totally changed the game, they found a way to mix practical effects with digital and made in my opinion a beautiful blend of the two arts in a really wonderful way.
But let's dig into why everyone needs to stop dumping on and instead appreciate these makeups, first off blaming Disney for these makeup choices shows how little anyone knows about the filmmaking process. I have been on multiple film sets where I have had to explain to Directors and Producers why they can't have exactly what they want due to the physical restrictions of makeup applications. Trust me, Disney would rather the fans be happy because it means more money. These were production restrictions and needs for these makeups, not an evil corporate decision.
AHSOKA TANO:
Tumblr media
What a GORGEOUS piece of art that is!! It looks like an extension of her head while still holding up to demanding physical stunts. If either her lekkus or montrals had been any longer they would've started bending due to their weight or you would've seen more seams on the prosthetics. They are also painted beautifully and wrinkled just right to show some age on the character.
CAD BANE:
Tumblr media
He is TERRIFYING in all the best ways!! People complain that he's not the right color blue but did you take into account that he's standing beneath 2 bright suns in a washed out environment that would reflect off his skin?? He's also aged which most people and creatures lose pigment in their skin tones as they get older.
You probably didn't think about that, but trust me the makeup artist sure did.
GRAND INQUISITOR:
Tumblr media
The issues that I'm seeing people have with his makeup are similar to Ahsoka's. But a huge elongated head prosthetic would limit the mobility of your actor/stunt person. I keep seeing it compared to the same species in ROTS, but again keep in mind they didn't have to do stunts, in fact they barely could move. Also, the actor chosen for the role will impact how a prosthetic sits and behaves so maybe we should appreciate a good performance over tearing down someone's hard work.
Tumblr media
At the end of the day all of these makeups are fantastic and I'd like to acknowledge the teams of artists and performers who bring these beloved characters to life!! Thank you!
And may the Force be with you!

Stranger Danger.
Lee Minho x Reader x Bang Chan
Word count:  3.1K
♡ Warnings ♡: SMUT, stablished relationship, open relationship, threesome, drinking, use of alcohol, voyeurism, vaginal & anal sex, unprotected & protected sex, use of lubrication, name calling, mentions of jealousy, slightly choking, hair pulling, creampie.
This was a  request i got some time ago from this prompt list. [ 35) “Maybe I should get you a collar so you don’t forget who you belong to.”] I hope you all enjoy this!
Tumblr media
Completely drunk, you tripped with your own feet, separating from the needy kiss to laugh at your carelessness and then pushing the guy you were with against your front door, your fingers got a hold of your keys quickly and magically they found their way to the lock.
The handsome stranger whose name you remembered to be something like Christian, Charlie –or just anything starting with C– continued to kiss your neck, leaving purpling bruises along your skin.
You opened the door, making Chase fall backward when you turned the doorknob to open it and get inside to continue your passionate encounter in the privacy of your home.
Again, you laughed and helped him stand still and close the door behind you, throwing your keys to the coffee table and letting your bag fall to the floor. Clayton missed no time in getting back at you, pushing you against the door and pinning your hands above your head. At this point your legs were already starting to shake, all the buildup of the moment since he told you hello at the club had been a great start, the jokes he'd told you, the flirty comments he allowed himself to say with a smirk and the way he let his large hands travel all over your body when you two were pushed together when dancing were the cause of this.
Of course, maybe this unholy state of horniness was also triggered by grand amount of alcohol you drank since you arrived at the place, but also because since a few days before you were feeling extra needy, and your hands and toys weren't enough to satisfy you anymore, you were craving a real man.
And this Christoph guy really offered to help you, when you grinded against him for the first time while dancing and he held you tight and growled in your ear. It had been a fantastic view, your hand on his cheek, his on your hip and his eyes closed with his nose scrunched and moving so he growled right in your ear. It turned you like you've never felt before.
You jumped after he indicated you to do so, carrying you to the nearest surface where he could start what he was there for.
Taking off your top, you threw it to the coffee table behind you, returning your attack to his mouth, your tongue all the way on his mouth savoring the alcohol he was drinking earlier with you.
The guy was as excited as you were, his hands were on your hips, his grip there being strong enough to leave some mark, and your hands took advantage of the position, touching his well marked abdomen and feeling his muscles.
Unluckily, all the fun that was about to happen ended when the front door opened again and the light turned on, and standing by the front door with a case that you knew was full of his own clothes and some gifts for you, stood your boyfriend.
He wasn't pissed, clearly. You'd call the expression on his face something more like 'amusement', as he enjoyed the view of you on top of some other guy. A raised eyebrow and devilish smile soon replaced the previous expression of surprise.
"Who is that?" the guy under you asked, but you just rolled your eyes and tried to kiss him. He didn't seem to be a bit bothered, as you felt the lack of a bulge against you.
"Oh, she didn't tell you about me? I'm Minho, her boyfriend" he answered for you, taking his jacket off and sitting on a couch next to where you were with the blond hottie.
"You have a boyfriend?" blondie asked. You nodded, not ashamed.
"We have an open relationship. Now please, weren't you going to fuck me?" you pouted, going near his ear to murmur something only he could hear. "I'm so needy, I've been so alone and I need to be filled, please help me…" and you looked at him, with your best puppy eyes.
Muscles smiled, shrugging. "If your boyfriend doesn't mind, I might as well help the pretty damsel then" he said, pulling you in for a kiss.
Minho sat silently, his eyes looking at every move and every touch of you with the other guy, he was paying special attention when you left little moans that encouraged the other man to do what you liked.
No name had special skills, his hands ghosting on your thighs as you grinded on him desperately, his hard cock hitting you again where it was before, and surprisingly, in the blink of an eye, Nameless had you under him, your panties on the floor and his fingers tracing circles around your clit, teasing you and causing you to close your eyes with a sigh, enjoying the attention that he was giving you.
Having your legs wide open, you knew that Carlos wasn’t the only one paying attention to the way your body was reacting; the way his long fingers made you drip, and how hot it was to be supervised by Minho. You were enjoying every second of this situation; being the center of attention and feeling so spoiled from how good you were being treated.
Long fingers suddenly entered you, making you moan and bite your lip. The guy who was between your legs added his thumb to the mixture and started massaging your clit in slow circles, he was making you feel amazing, but yet when you opened his eyes, you couldn't look at him, focusing on Minho instead. He had his hands on his thighs, the bulge in his pants allowed you to know what you already suspected, he was enjoying the show, maybe a little too much.
Connecting his eyes with yours, Minho smiled. That's when you tried to provoke him, moving one of your fingers to your lips and playing with them before allowing it to enter your mouth. You pretended that it was his hand instead, licking the index finger once and once again, until he couldn't resist and succumbed to your game, undoing his belt and taking his cock in his hands. You could see his tip leaking some precum, which he used to lubricate the rest of himself before he continued to enjoy the performance.
The unknown guy inserted another finger in you, making you squirm and moan particularly loudly –mostly because you wanted to give a proper show to your beloved boyfriend, but truly the guy knew what he was doing– and one of your hands went to take off the clothes that covered your hardened nipples, pinchen them between your pointer finger and your thumb and biting your lip, trying to look as the sexiest person alive. Your eyes traveled down to where he had his hand busy, and your mouth watered.
Minho had his cock in his hand, he was stroking it lazily, his fingers were so elegantly wrapped around it and his length was slightly glistening from the lubrication he provided, the illumination wasn't very good, but you were sure that you were a lucky one for being able to see him in that state; he seemed like he was one of those old fancy paintings that was controversial during the old days, his expression of pleasure when he closed his eyes in ecstasy and the wink he gave you when he saw you looking at him, plus the fingers that were inside you… you saw him mouthing you name and that was all it took to have you orgasm around the hottie's fingers, mumbling pure nonsense because your mind was blinded from how you felt.
You lied there, with your legs open and panting heavily, trying to recover from how intense that orgasm had been. Once you opened your eyes again, you looked into the blonde's lustful eyes and went "I want you to fuck me real hard" with your best puppy expression.
The giggle that came out of his mouth was adorable, but you didn't have time to think of that when you pulled his hand so he would be above you, him trying to steady himself to not fall on you and once he was steady, he aligned his cock with your entrance, you could already feel it, waiting for it so expectantly like a kid on a toy store…
Only to be left disappointed when Minho stood up and stopped the guy by placing a hand on his shoulder.
"I don't think I ever caught your name," Mimho said, grinning at him because he knew he ruined the experience for the both of you.
"I'm Chris, or Chan if you like that better. Do you have a problem? I thought you guys were okay with this" he said, removing himself from you. You rolled your eyes, but said nothing, waiting for Minho to handle the situation.
"Actually, yes, now that you ask, there is a little problem, but I think we can work together to solve it, depending on what Y/N says, of course" you looked at him with wide eyes when you heard your name, then looked at Chan to find him looking at you as well.
"Y/N, baby, you know you're precious and real hot stuff, I've missed you too, sexy, and I'm a little jealous that you're letting him fuck you first. What if we make an arrangement, huh?" he asked.
With an arched eyebrow, you answered him "what are you asking me, exactly?"
And the answer to your own question didn't come from him, surprising you.
"I think he wants me to fuck your ass… are you really okay with that? Of course you don't have to, you can suck me off too" Chris said, looking at Minho who nodded, and then at you.
Not answering, you stood up and ran to your room, bringing a half filled bottle of lube that you handed to Chan who was still on the couch.
"Good girl, God, I knew that you would be greedy enough to take the both of us at the same time. You, stand up" he said to Chris, who quickly followed your boyfriend's order.
Minho sat on the couch, taking off all his clothes and then making you sit on him, pumping himself a few times before entering you. Your previous climax helped for you to adjust to his size, and once you felt ready you simply nodded.
Chan seemed to understand, squirting a bit of lube on your asshole and massaging you gently for a few seconds. He pushed your back to Minho's chest, exposing your bottoms to him, and being this close to Minho, you heard him clearly when he spoke to you.
“Maybe I should get you a collar so you don’t forget who you belong to, hmm? What do you think, would you like that, kitten? A pretty collar with my name on it so you know who's your owner?" he asked, voice deep and serious to demonstrate his dominant voice. You felt his hand petting your hair gently when he was done asking you. Your cheeks blushed intensely at his words, an inevitable whimper coming out of your lips caused by the effect his questions had in you, but said nothing because you knew the way your walls tightened round him were enough reaction for him.
Behind you, you felt Chan aligning his member to enter you, the tip of a condom that you've never realized exactly when he put it on making you squirm in excitement as you turned your neck to look at him through your lashes, waiting for him to finally enter you and be destroyed by the two of them.
Chris smiled at you gently, and placing his hands on your hips to hold you still, he finally entered you. He started slowly, afraid of hurting you much from this weird sensation that you'd never grow accustomed to at all, and you opened your mouth, face resting on Minho's chest as you felt every inch of Chan going deeper into you. It was like that until he stopped, staying still for you to get used to the feeling of something inside your ass.
"Y-you can move now" you babbled, not only at Chan but to Minho as well, you were positive your body could take them at the same thought.
After hearing you, Chan growled under his breath, pulling out from you at the same pace he had entered you; under you, Minho placed his hands on your thighs and tried his best to do the same as Chan and finally start the real party, there was no ending to his plans until he had you screaming his name in pleasure.
Soon, the three of you found a good pace to follow, and then all that could be heard on your small department was the hurried breathing of the three of you, along with the particular noise of naked skin against more skin and your moans, crying out from how overwhelmed you felt. It was weirdly unexplainable, you felt amazing being with the two of you, but you felt so good that you couldn't think straight anymore.
Chan's hand snaked on your back until he reached your hair, his fingers tangling themselves on locks of your hair and suddenly pulling it, dragging a surprised scream from your throat.
Minho took that opportunity to his advantage, having you away from him but still inside you, he could clearly see you from under, appreciating how much of a goddess you seemed, he was enamored with everything of you, also seeming amazed at the fact of how much he was enjoying to see you being used by another man while you still showed that you preferred him over them.
He raised one of his hands to play with your chest, playing with your nipples with one hand as the other hand went higher to wrap itself around your exposed neck, it became too much of a te ration for him to simply ignore, so he squeezed you gently, carefully because you had too much going on already.
Meanwhile, Chan pulled you towards by your hair towards his chest. He wasn't as gentle as Minhon was trying to be, but the contrast of that excited you more.
His hand traveled across your stomach, you felt his hand touching every inch of skin that was on the way to where he was going, and when he reached there, he started leaving little kisses on your back, his fingers rubbing your clit and making you shake a little.
Upon seeing what he was doing, Minho stopped playing with your nipples to grab one of your hands that were holding his wrist, tangling his fingers with yours. From the was your oussy started to contract and the tears forming on the corner of your eyes, he knew that you were close.
His other hand left your throat free as he looked for your other hand to hold it as well, he wanted to let you know that he was there for you, and that he was paying attention to your reactions.
"I'm gonna cum, I'm gonna cum!" you cried out, causing Minho to smile gently and to move his hips to thrust as hard as he could into you to bring you over the edge.
He succeeded, and your mind went blank while strange noises of satisfaction came from you and your interiors squeezed Minho deliciously, he loved the face you made when you orgasmed, and adding that he was still inside you, he came a few seconds after you, letting all of him paint your interiors with his seed.
Judging by the lack of thrust from his counterpart, Minho realized that Chan had also found his release, removing his hand from your clit to wrap it around your waist until his orgasm was gone.
You lasted like that for a few minutes, being hold by Chan's powerful arms and eyes lazily open to look down at Mimho with a soft smile, you weren't sure if you were done for the night, the only thing you knew was that you were feeling tired.
Removing his hand from your hair, Chan freed himself of your hair and let you position yourself however you wanted above Minho, pulling out from you and taking off the used condom, standing up from the couch to throw it to the trash without saying anything, giving you and Minho a bit of privacy.
"Round two?" Minho asked you quietly, kissing your forehead and then pushing you back so he could get out of your sensitive pussy.
"Let me rest for a bit and then we can start again" you replied, picking Minho's shirt from the floor and cleaning his cum from your dripping pussy.
Chan came back and looked at the two of you with a raised eyebrow.
"What do you say of a round two, Channie?" you asked him playfully. He made a surprised face at your sudden question.
"Are you sure you can take more?" he said. You heard Mimho scoff next to you.
"I told you, she's my greedy kitten, always want more" he told him, "you're up for a next round, then? This time I'll let you her pussy, I have an idea of how we can shut her up, it's late and we don't want to wake the neighbors, right?" Minho said, turning his head to give you a playful smile.
"Sure, let's leave them sleep" you rolled your eyes. "Before we start again, can I propose that we move to the bedroom?" you looked at Minho who simply shrugged and nodded, so you turned your head to Chan to tell him where it was located, not that he needed to know because he had already found the bathroom on his own, but to let him go before you so you could breath and get mentally ready, excitement flowing on your skin.
Chan left, leaving you and Minho alone again. Your boyfriend politely gave you a hand so you could stand up from the couch, pulling your hand towards him so he could embrace you, kissing you harshly and as passionately as he wanted to do since he entered the house again, haply that he was finally able to do it.
"You're gonna be the fucking death of me, Y/N. You're a demon, you know that, right?" he whispered on your face, before kissing you again and leaving you out of breath.
"My wicked little angel, we should've done this sooner, you look so fucking hot when you're crying from pleasure, baby" and after saying that to you, he left in the direction of your room, leaving you behind to think.
You breathed in before going after them, stretching and cleaning the sweat off your forehead, product of the activity done before, and when you felt like you were ready, you went to your destination.
"Let's start the second round."

My Webtoon Recommendations
These are webtoons that are all 10/10 for me. Of course it doesn’t have to be a 10/10 for you, so just a reminder, do not attack me for liking a webtoon that you do not. These are my opinions and we are not going to have the exact same taste. Please be respectful.
Your Throne
Tumblr media
Genre: Fantasy
Chapters: 75
Status: Ongoing
-
“Tensions are brewing under the seemingly calm surface of the Vasilios Empire, a kingdom ruled by the Imperial Family and the Temple. Lady Medea Solon has lost her place next to Crown Prince Eros, but resolves to win back whats rightfully hers. Will she reclaim her throne?”
You know whats amazing about this webtoon? The summary leads you to think that what shes winning back is the prince. Wrong. Shes trying to win back the throne. I love how this webtoon doesn’t try to make it a girl focusing her goals on a man, but on power. Medea is such a strong and well written character that you can’t help but love her.
The second protagonist Pschye, who of which is the person who took Medeas place as Crown Princess, is the complete opposite of Medea. At the beginning you hate her, but as the webtoon goes on and Medea and her get a better understanding of eachother due to them switching bodies as a wish from God, you begin to root for them as they team up to take over the throne from the Crown Prince.
The art is so beautiful and I constantly found myself at awe from the amount of detail put into it.

The Makeup Remover
Tumblr media
Genre: Romace
Chapters: 78
Status: Ongoing
-
“After years of being told to focus on studying, Yeseul feels lost when she starts college and is suddenly expected to pay attention to makeup. When a chance encounter with brilliant makeup artist Yuseong leads to her taking part in a televised makeup competition, Yeseul begins to question the role that makeup and appearance play in society.”
This was created by one of my favorite webtoon creators Lee Yone. Their art is just so amazing and their stories always include such good topics.
For instance, The Makeup Remover’s theme is loving yourself for who you are. It shows how people treat you based on your looks and as someone whos struggled with that kind of thing for a while, this webtoon really touched me. The main character Yeseul is such a relatable character, even when trying to reject beauty standards, she still came subject to the pressures of living up to the people around her. She struggles with trying to love her own appearance and I really like that this webtoon didn’t try to be like, ‘fuck the beauty standard im better than that screw pretty people!!!’ it actually showed realistically how people struggle with self-image. I also love the main love interest because oh my god, we need more men like him please. He doesn’t care about Yeseul’s appearance and genuinely loves her for her personality.
Also, art is amazing. The author is so talented and you should support them by reading and liking the chapters.

Surviving Romance
Tumblr media
Genre: Horror
Chapters: 14
Status: Ongoing

“When Chaerin Eun becomes the protagonist of the romance novel she is reading, she expects a fairytale ending with the novel’s love interest, Jeha. But when a bizarre twist makes her realize the story is not playing out as it does in the book, she’ll need the help of an unlikely character from her class to defy the new storyline and find her happy ending - if only she can figure out who this ‘Unknown Extra’ is first!”
Hands down one of my favorite webtoons by a long shot. You ever see a webtoon and think, ‘oh yeah, thats going to be a good webtoon’? Thats how this webtoon was for me. It was so good that I spent hours searching for other chapters that hadn’t been uploaded to webtoon yet on other manhua websites. I discovered it because it was also by the author of ‘The Makeup Remover’.
If there is one thing you need to know about me, its that I am a huge horror fan. So when I saw that my favorite author on webtoon had a horror themed webtoon out? You bet your behind that I binged it. Let me tell you, best choice ever.
Think of it as if ‘Ino’s Law’ and ‘Quarantine’ were combined with amazing art and a badass MC.
The Remarried Empress
I love how it is set up to the point where she cannot ‘quit’ until she completes the novel. Creating scenarios where she must survive while meeting the standards in the book. It is such an amazingly written webtoon and I cannot wait for more chapters to be released.

Tumblr media
Genre: Fantasy

“Navier Ellie Trovi was an empress perfect in every way - intelligent, courageous, and socially adept. She was kind to her subjects and devoted to her husband. Navier was perfectly content to live the rest of her days as the wise empress of the Eastern Empire. That is, until her husband brought hone a mistress and demanded a divorce. ‘I accept this divorce… And i request an approval of my remarriage.’ In a shoking twist Navier remaarries another emperor and retains her title and childhood dream as empress. But just how did everything unfold? “
Am I in love with Navier? Yes.
I absolutely adore how this story was set up. The first chapter begins with the big divorce scene, followed by Navier saying that she was going to be remarrying someone else since he wants to divorce her. This sets up a picture that gets completely shattered as you read the chapters. How everything falls into place with the reason behind the divorce and the remarriage is just so well written. The art is so good and and everything is just so insanely well done.
I absolutely love Naviers character, from her regalness and devoted loyalty to her role as empress, all the way to her petty moments and times of sadness. She is truly a character that you want the best for, and I cannot image anyone not liking her. Also the story is just so capable of making you feel emotions. I’ve laughed, cried, and got angry during the course of reading this webtoon. I love how betrayed I felt when the emperor brought home his mistress. It felt like I was in Navier’s shoes!
This is such a well done webtoon and I'm so excited for Navier to get all of the good things she deserves in her new Kingdom and with her new husband.

Witch Creek Road

Genre: Horror
Chapters: 74

“A survival horror about love, acceptance, death, and revenge. And sexy flesh-eating demons. Yeah, it has those, too.”
This series seriously mind fucked me. The way that this story is set up, you don’t see the full picture until the later chapters. Season two literally blew my mind. It is also very gorey so keep that in mind if you don’t like that kind of stuff, but for me that makes it all the better. It is just so wild and crass that you can feel your heart pumping in anticipation.
They even have their own website that goes further into the lore because it’s just so wild. Also the art style is just so amazing, because it complements the story and horror theme so much. You hate most of the characters because they suck, and it is so satisfying when they are killed. Also it has it’s sad moments but I think it is a nice break from the horror so it isn’t so overwhelmingly scary.
I binged this series and I recommend reading only a few chapters a day so you don’t overload your brain.
Other then that, an amazing webtoon. Seriously, go read it, support the author, so much work goes into the story and art that it’s insane.

Dating With A Tail
Tumblr media
Genre: Romance
Chapters: 36
Status: Ongoing
-
“On the dawn of her 29th birthday, unlucky-in-love Yunha discovers a shocking family secret: she’s started growing a fox tail, the mark of an ancestral curse. She must find her fated love before her 30th birthday or she is destined to become a fox forever! Even with her new-found enchanting power to attract men using her scent, will one year be enough to break the curse before it’s too late?”
Oh my gosh this is just such a good webtoon. It has amazing art, story telling, and characters. The true love interest was there the whole time, the villain isn’t who you’d expect it to be, and the spirit who cursed her is just! Im not going to spoil it but go read this webtoon!! It is so good and deserves more love.
Also Yunha is just so relatable?? Like she put off finding the woodcutter (her fated love) for 29 years and waited last minute to find him. Homegirl is me trying to do a project for school. Also to get rid of the scent that makes men attracted to her, she just starts eating a ton of garlic and that is just so funny to me.
Also I would go to church for the priest anytime if you know what i mean ;)
-
Omniscient Reader
Tumblr media
Genre: Action
Chapters: 53
Status: Ongoing
-
“Dokja was an average office worker whose sole interest was reading his favorite web novel ‘Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse.’ But when the novel suddenly becomes reality, he is the only person who knows how the world will end. Armed with this realization, Dokja uses his understanding to change the course of the story, and the world, as he knows it.”
I cannot get over how high quality this story is. The world building is phenomenal, the art is fantastic, and the characters are very fleshed out. This deserved all the hype it has gotten so far and more.
I love the ‘mc thrown into a different reality’ trope so much. Just like with surviving romance, Dokja’s world became the story he was reading. Also a very cool aspect of the story is the level up and the fact that its like a game. Earth has turned into this show for god like creatures to watch and it follows Dokja trying to survive. I also really like that TWSA has a protagonist, but Omniscient Reader’s protagonist is not the protagonist that was in TWSA. There is just so much lore and I’ll say it again, the world building is just phenomenal.
The Ddokkaebi’s and Dokja’s interactions are also just some of my favorite moments from the story so far. And oh my goodness I would die for Lee Gilyoung. Thats it, thats the tweet. That little boy could probably kill me with his giant praying mantis and I would let him if it would make him happy.
-
Not So Shoujo Love Story
Tumblr media
Genre: Comedy
Chapters: 45
Status: Ongoing
-
“Romance super-fan Rei Chan is ready for her first boyfriend and she knows just who it’ll be: the most handsome boy in school, Hansum Ochinchin. But her plans for the perfect story are derailed when the most popular girl in class declares herself a rival… for Rei’s heart?! This is the year her not so shoujo love story begins!”
This is just such a cute webtoon. The style is very appealing and while the humor can be childish and weird sometimes, it still has made me laugh a lot. I know the humors not for everyone but just keep in mind that it does get better as the story progresses and gets more serious.
Also its a gl! I’m really unable to find good gls these days that don’t fetishize wlw relationships. Rei being painted as a mean trouble maker whos just misunderstood and Hana being the ‘perfect girl’ who only wants Rei’s attention is such a cute dynamic. They balance each other out and better each other. Also stan Rei for constantly sticking up for Hana even if she doesn’t necessarily like her in the beginning, she has very good morals and sticks to them.
Also the defying stereotypes in this webtoon? Just god-tier. Really makes you think twice when you judge someone just on first impressions alone.
-
Odd Girl Out
Tumblr media
Genre: Drama
Chapters: 264
Status: Ongoing
-
“After a successful winter break makeover, Nari is finally ready for her high school debut. But somehow, she ends up friends with the three prettiest girls in school! Follow Nari as she tries to navigate her brand new high school life surrounded by beauties.”
This story has made me cry multiple times. A lot, even. It is just such a beautiful tale of friendship and finding support in people who are unlike those around theme. It also tells a great story about how anybody can be the ‘odd girl out’. Be it the fat girl, the beautiful girl, the rich girl, or the laid back girl.
It goes so deep into its characters that you even feel bad for the minor antagonists. It really makes you feel for the characters and the reasons behind their actions. Also I know its long, believe me I binged all 260 chapters in the span of three days, but oh my god it is worth it. Also I know the art is kind of off-putting, in fact that’s kind of why I put off reading the story, but I’ve honestly grown to love it and the writing is so good that the art could be literal stick figures and it wouldn’t matter.
The story is amazing and also I just love Nari. She’s just the best.
-
Gremoryland
Tumblr media
Genre: Horror
Chapters: 67
Status: Completed
-
“Six old school friends are invited to be the first visitors of GremoryLand, a new horror theme park that promises an experience as unique as it is spooky. But once this experience starts there is no turning back, and they find themselves tested beyond what they imagines, facing their most desperate fears in order to survive.”
This is definitely one of those stories were you kind of need to turn of your brain and choose to ignore ‘plot holes’ while reading the early chapters because this story definitely gets crazy if you don’t know the ending. Believe me if you stick with it it will all make sense and the satisfaction you get from finding the ending is just so worth it.
The story is so good, and who Gremory is you would literally never suspect. When it was revealed who Gremory was and how he was able to create Gremoryland is so fucking mind boggling that you would never guess. I had to do a double take. It wasn’t like one of those random characters with a vendetta type of twists, but like one you can pick out from clues throughout the story.
Its so good and twisted and just so worth at least giving it a chance.

These were some of my favorite webtoons on the app! Of course it’s not all of them because unfortunately there is a 10 image limit. I also made this because I’ve run out of new webtoons to read and would love if you guys commented some of your own recs. I can also do a part two with other ones I liked if y’all want more recommendations. You guys can even request specific categories like Drama or Sci-Fi and I can tell you my favorite ones from that genre.
Also a reminder - if you disagree with any of my praise of these webtoons be respectful about it. At the end of the day it’s my opinion and you don’t need to be rude when disagreeing with that opinion.
