oooooh my god I'm so happy I finally got to draw the super tall monster high heels on someone!! Vil was by far, the character I had the most references saved for. I gotta say, the main inspiration to me was actually Vil's overblot form, probably my favorite design in game, mixing a bit of the religious references it had, I thought of a fallen angel for his scare-itage! I almost went with vampire, inspired on Elissabat's character, but I want to avoid as much as possible repeating the types of creatures the twst cast will be in this AU, and the vampire idea is reserved for a very obvious someone else from diasomnia!

The cons of having too many visual references and inspirations is that it's so difficult to choose only one outfit for the final version. I searched a lot of inspiration in drag, and the ones that clicked with my idea the most were some stuff Pabllo Vittar and Gottmik wore (I'm obssessed with them, you have no idea), if you squint you can see I loosely based Vil's makeup look on Gottmik's lol

There's also the two different patterns I made for Vil's dress. Neither of them were what I originally had in mind, turns out stained glass art is pretty difficult to replicate, but for now I judge these two look decent enough? I struggled to choose only one of them to put on the official character sheet, and I just went with the one on the right because it took longer for me to draw it 😭 you can consider both of them "canon" I guess? I don't think I have a preference between the two

Lore-wise I don't have any really relevant or detailed notes. Vil's personality and backstory pretty much remains the same, I think it fits in this universe as well. I could add to the story that the real reason he doesn't use his wings is because angels lose parts of their supernatural powers once they are cast out of heaven, but Vil prefers not to admit it. Also I think it would be fun if their actual angel form was one of those otherworldly cool burning wheels while this one is baisically just a cloak, for practicality, you know?

Lan Zhan has never stopped searching for Wei Ying. There are strange rumors everywhere that WY & the others are in a resentment-filled no man's land (kind of like the void in the Shadow & Bone novel) where huge deadly monsters roam. Word is also that people who really need help have safely disappeared into this void. As time passes, rumors of strange cultivators suddenly appearing to aid people are also circulating. And I think Lan Zhan actually meets Xiao Xingchen in an inn at one point & it's clear he knows Wri Ying (he & Song Lan turn out to be Wei Ying's right-hand men). LZ does try to get into the void thing, but the energy is too strong & he barely makes it out of the area. After a number of years they get a message out of the blue, i think, from WY saying that the monsters are getting out, and WY ends up bringing the Wei Sect back to the cultivation world to help fight. Wei Ying will have nothing to say or do with Lan Zhan, at least to start, which Lan Zhan is devestated by. Um...and Lan Yuan is there, grown up & still the Best Boy ever. I think A-Yuan tirns out to be a Gusu Lan fanboy. Anyway, it turns out Wei Ying created a ghost path that allows the Wei Sect to safely use resentful energy. But you find out WY got too damaged back in the beginning and by the end they defeat the monsters but he's dying, so Lan Zhan gives Wei ying his golden core. I think LZ actually does the whole transfer himself in the Jingshi.

Ayuan goes outside and falls into some troubles and all sects(jin,Jiang,lan,nie) were present there including jin zixuan and Jiang yanli with their son because they were chased by meng Yao. He wanted to kill all of them. Wangxian comes their to save Ayuan and they get saved in the process. They got some cursed so Ayuan request wangxian to let them stay in their house until their cursed is solved.they stay in their house and yanli tries to connect with wei wuxian but he doesn't. Wen Ning is also married. Also, wangxian are immortal. Wei ying form is crow which he uses to spy on his son for safety reasons. Also, lan xichen repents himself and tries to make amends and connect with the kids. Lan zhan is also trying to connect with his family. Also, that Jiang family is a bit#h (bitch), cheng verbally abuses wei wuxian at any chance he gets and yanli only knows to cry. Same with lan qiren,he is still the same. I would swear I bookmarked this one but I can't find it anywhere!

It's a modern au where LWJ and WWX are college students. Iirc they are already in a relationship.

Iirc it opens with WWX and LWJ in a wrecked car which is possibly half hanging off a bridge - they'd been run off the road (though that's not established until later).

When the emergency services arrive, LWJ is taken to hospital but WWX is arrested for some bullshit reason - resisting arrest or something. Iirc the cops on the scene were Jin Zixun and Xue Yang.

There is worry from LWJ's family because they don't know what happened to WWX. Just that he was in the car and he should be in the hospital but isn't.

Later, WWX is in an interrogation room not making much sense because he's injured and hypothermic (it's winter and he was soaked through but he wasn't allowed to even dry off) then he gets left on his own.

I *think* he was tracked down by police (chief?) NMJ who got to WWX shortly before his heart stopped due to his injuries, the hypothermia, and the mistreatment while in custody.

Everyone in general was super nice as well, I'm glad my cosplay was well received 😭 I'll have to make a few tweaks but I can't wait to cosplay him again, it was so fun (though maybe when it's colder lol)

NieR Orchestra Concert 12024 [the end of data] (London, 15/2/2024)

NieR concert was incredible just as expected. Honestly, from the moment I got there - the cosplayers, the general atmosphere, it was just a good place to be surrounded by NieR nerds lmao. So many people happy to chat with the stranger next to them, kind of a con vibe.

But of course we were there for the music! And it was fuckin amazing. The emi evans/j'nique nicole duets😭These were special orchestral arrangements specifically for this concert, and the way the sound of the orchestra fills the space, how you can see a phrase physically ripple across the orchestra... I don't get to go to a lot of concerts but I really should try to go more often, because it's something else to hear orchestral music.

The multimedia elements also worked really well - every piece was accompanied with backing videos using either demosceney abstract visuals or images from the games, along with text that told a short story over the course of the concert, with some segments voice acted by the English voices of 2B and 9S (Kira Buckland and Kyle McCarley, who have previously made their own performances of the original Japan-only concert readings). I won't spoil the story in this post since there are still concerts to come, but it was... not that substantial I'll admit, but sweet, and a nice framing device to create a flow through the songs and various moments from the games.

Hearing J'nique Nicole's voice live though, that was incredible. Emi Evans was there just as last time, and just as amazing as always - but this time we had both of them on stage together, and it was absolutely sublime. We all went wild. They performed duets in several songs, with the standouts naturally being A Beautiful Song, Ashes of Dreams, and of course Weight of the World. I think we all thought that was the end because we gave it a standing ovation but then Emi came back out to perform Kainé. After that we got into the groove of standing up and stood up again like three more times lol.

Yoko Taro and Yosuke Saito showed up at the end and made a bunch of rapidfire jokes in Japanese that the translator couldn't keep up with, bless her. But we got to give them like the fourth standing ovation of the night, and made a lot of noise when Yoko Taro suggested it would persuade the president of Squeenix to fund a sequel. I'm sure they appreciated it lmao. I think it must be so weird for Yoko Taro to go from someone with a career of niche, unsuccessful games to being internationally renowned to the point that a massive auditorium full of people in multiple countries will go absolutely nuts just to hear him speak a language we mostly don't speak.

Good mix of people who were at a NieR concert for the first time and people who'd been to the last one. There was a guy near me who had apparently been to the Berlin concert just a few days before, and snagged a ticket for this one literally yesterday just to get it again with better acoustics. I respect it lol. Everyone I spoke to was remarkably friendly - last time I went to one of these things I felt really nervous about approaching anyone but it seems I've gotten better about that kind of thing in the last few years. Anyway, people had come from all over - I chatted with a pair of Americans from Boston all the way down the merch line.

bokeeeeehhhhhhhhh... I spoke a bit to the owner of this 9S doll. Her mum was there too, and it turns out she's a haberdasher who makes cosplays for her daughters and has now done over 70. That's a legendary mum right there.

The 9S cosplayer here gave me his instagram. he's a pro photographer so I feel a little embarassed at the quality of the photos I took of him ^^'

I got some merch too, since I understand it's the main way events like this support themselves.

That Kainé thing isn't a print, it's a vinyl record with a few arrangements of Kainé. Though I was totally prepared to buy it as a print because it's a lovely drawing. I don't actually own a record player, but one day I'll surely listen to it ^^'

I was too fatigued to make a cosplay this time, but I'm sure there will be another concert and next time, for sure, I will go as Devola or Popola. Unless Yoko Taro comes up with another redhead character in the meantime lmao.

Another round of sick laughter falls on her ears as she chokes back a sob when their foul smell rips into her nose. Celeste’s fight or flight senses are working themselves into the dirt but nothing is coming up to help her. Having been turned many years before, she gave up any magic that she had been born with and she pleads with her ancestors to save her just this once. 

“Please,” she begs internally as she looks tearfully to the sky. The Lycan gang is closing in on her when the dark night sky opens up and a steak of lightening answers her prayers. 

May 25, 1923

Bucharest, Romania

“What do you mean I can’t go back?” Celeste scoffs at her husband who is refusing to look at her, “Bucky.”

He keeps his calm composure when he issues his final verdict, “It’s too dangerous. Your coven agreed to keep you safe as long as you remain here.”

“You spoke to my coven without me? You could’ve gotten yourself killed, you absolute fool! Any agreement with them will only result in your suffering, you must know that.”

“All that matters is that you’re safe, okay? End of story,” he hisses after turning to face his angry wife.

She shakes her head at his stupid decision, “when?”

When he doesn’t answer, she demands again, “When did you do this?” 

“Yesterday.”

She takes a deep breath and twists the ring he had given her the night before, “What did you agree to?”

Bucky doesn’t speak for a long while and meets her stare. 

He relents but only to give up one piece of information, “As long as you’re on Romanian soil and wearing your ring, you will be safe.”

“I can’t believe you,” she whispers, “You went behind my back, made a century long deal, and hid it from me? I told you that I had this handled but of course, you had to do it yourself and make things worse in the process.”

“I did what I had to do, Celeste. We didn’t have the time to wait around another 10 months for you to negotiate with those con artists” and with that he leaves her to ponder over his words. 

Her anger boils to the surface, unable to keep itself under control. She lets out something akin to a roar and in the process, breaks Bucky’s heart. 

January 7, 1945

Peggy smiles nervously at Celeste as they both jitter and anticipation. Bucky and Steve are awaiting the bride and her maid of honor just on the other side of the doors. Seeing as how Peggy ran away, there’s very few people in attendance at this wedding. Very few meaning quite literally only ten. Various Strigoi from other territories and witches forced there by treaties make up the small crowd. 

A townsperson well trusted by Bucky holds the doors shut. He gives them a brief and tightlipped smile before opening the doors.

Onward goes the wedding, and within moments, the happy couple are married. An elaborate celebration follows all thanks to Bucky and his love for his best friend since birth Steve. A witch that Celeste recognizes as an elder for the coven, Marguerite, beckons her towards the back of the room and away from the prying eyes. When she approaches the woman, she’s led out and that’s when Marguerite lays the worst news Celeste would be given - the full truth behind Romania’s curse.

In his efforts to protect the one he loved most, Bucky made a blood deal with her coven - one that would mean his ruination as well if it breaks. While the coven agreed to protect Celeste by banning Lycans for a century, what they did not tell him was if he didn’t do as he promised to keep her there, Celeste would no longer be protected and a ban on both Lycan and Strigoi would be put in place.

While the coven’s power pulls from Celeste’s line of doppelgängers, she had been the most powerful that was until she was turned. Becoming a Strigoi meant that her connection to her coven and the power they needed ended. If they wanted to ever regain that beacon, Celeste would need to die and soon so that the new doppelgänger could be born.

Seeing as how the Lycan had tried to kill her in the past several times, her death would be inevitable so the coven would get everything they wanted; a thought that made her skin crawl and her stomach to rotten. 

“What else did you lie to him about?” Celeste hissed at the old woman. 

Marguerite shrugged, “We did not lie to him. It is his fault if he did not ask for the full agreement.” 

“I’ll ask then, what else did he agree to?”

“He will bring us our next binecuvântat, blessed one.”

“And if he doesn’t?”

She smiled a devilish smile, “He will. We have made certain of it.”

June 26, 1948

The Wright Lycan family had finally made true on their promise to take all that Bucky loved from him. 

The evidence? 

Celeste’s body floating lifelessly in the foul waters of the Hudson river and a picture of her nailed to the front door of their shared home. 

Steve could do nothing to console Bucky and figured it best to let the feral, grief driven man hold his wife one last time. Peggy collapsed into Steve’s arms as Bucky pulled Celeste from the water, chanting that it had been her fault, that she was supposed to be with her but wasn’t feeling good so she stayed home. 

His screams of agony could be heard for miles. All else had been fallen silent as Bucky mourned the murder of his love. 

Sometime in 2022

The thin silver chain never bothered him but the weight of the ring that it carried was a constant reminder of the hole in his heart. 

The metal of the small band that she had worn for years burned against his neck as Bucky got out of his car to pick up Wyatt. The burn turned into a deep ache that engulfed his entire body to the point of him almost doubling over in pain. He had to grip the door handle to the school as it raked over his body. The smell of jasmine and honey instantly soothed his pain and Wyatt tackled him moments later. 

Picking up the small boy, the ache turned into a pulling sensation that wanted Bucky to follow that sweet smell and his breath left his body once again when he found the source. Before him stood Celeste or what appeared to be a doppelgänger of her. That small sweet smile was what he saw noticed first but he hopes of his love returning to him were dashed when he saw the hallow look in this woman’s eyes. Years of heart ache and misery had dampened the light that he knew used to live in her warm eyes but still the necklace begged to take its rightful place around her neck. 

“Hi, can I see your ID?” she asked. 

Wyatt giggled in his arms and brought Bucky back down to earth as he fumbled for his wallet. 

She handed back his ID, “Thank you Mr. Barnes. I’m the new site director and I’m carding all adults at pick up until I know everyone.”

Her voice nearly shattered him as he hadn’t heard it in years, “Bucky… You can call me Bucky.”

She smiled, “Sunny.”

Present 

Luca paces the kitchen, wearing even more ruts into the ancient stone floor with his anxiety. Thor, Loki, and Ana Cristina ignore him as they hunch over their own books, all searching for something to lead them into the right direction. They had been at it for hours but nothing had been found. Loki makes a show of slamming his book shut and leaning back as he speaks,  “Maybe this isn’t something we fix, Ana. Y/N is the doppelgänger that he’s supposed to bring back and she’s here now so I don’t really see how the Lycan being here has anything to do with us.”

She shoots him an angry look, “They shouldn’t be here so yes this is something that we fix. If they’re here, that means something is wrong.”

“I don’t see it that way,” he counters, “We get to Y/N first and boom, no more problems. We get our magic restored to full strength and then we can deal with those demoni, demons.” 

Luca gasps in horror and looks around to make sure that no one else is around, “those demoni as you so brashly called them are our friends, neighbors, employers. Show them more respect than that and get back to searching for an answers.”

Thor takes his cue to speak up, “I agree with Loki. Why do we have to protect them when we could very easily get Y/N to come with us? She hates Bucky doesn’t she?” “It’s becoming quite the opposite,” another voice pipes in and the group freezes. Peggy steps out from the shadows and all but glides over to them. She lands a hand on Loki’s shoulder as she continues, “they’re starting to develop feelings, dare I say fall in love so she’s not going to just leave. You’ll have to convince her and with how stubborn she is, I doubt any of you’d be successful.”

She looks around the group and narrows her eyes on the elderly woman, “But you. You’re the only other person that she trusts besides Bucky.  It wouldn’t be that hard if you were the one to do it.”

“I would…”

Peggy waves a hand in annoyance, “‘I would never do that.’ Don’t feed me some lie about how he’s been kind to you and you could never betray his trust like that. Bucky turned your beloved doppelgänger and nearly ended your entire coven. He was the one who got her murdered and nearly cursed your people in the process. He would do it to you and you know that because he is not a loyal creature. You are though, Ana Cristina, show that loyalty and do what’s right by your coven.”

Alix’s phone rings and John looks to her. 

“Apparently Loki and Thor are the only ones that are willing to take one for the team,” she sneers, “Peggy is pretty much useless now so looks like we need another plan and quick before Ana and Luca blab to Bucky.”

“Already ahead of you,” John says as he drops his phone into her lap, “Juliette found a way in… well more like she found someone to get us in.”

Alix twists her head back to look at Juliette is curled into a ball, reading a book, “Oh? Finally started pulling your own weight?”

Eyes trained on the book, she says, “no, gaining trust actually takes time but it’s not like you’d know that.”

“Excuse me?”

Brock chokes on his coffee on the other side of the couch and John shots him a stern look. 

“People don’t usually respond well to physical intimidation. Didn’t your mom teach you that violence isn’t always the answer or did you beat her too?”

Alix is on her feet in seconds, her chair sliding backwards from the force of her standing. She rips the book from Juliette’s hands and pushes her further into the cushions. 

“I never beat anyone.”

Juliette can feel the Lycan in her wanting to shrink back but she can’t. She refuses to back down from this, “I saw the bruises, the marks, the handprints. I saw the way Y/N shook when you were next to her or how she’d flinch when you’d touch her. I watched her become more and more afraid of you but still stayed. I saw it all, everyone did.”

“I didn’t beat Y/N.”

“You can lie to yourself all you want but you’re not fooling anyone. Why else would you be chasing after her?”

Alix fights the urge to rip Juliette’s throat out with her teeth, “I love her.”

The former rat of the Lycan gang rolls her eyes, “No you’re abusive and pissed off that your victim got away.”

Alix growls and goes to lung at her but Brock and John are quick to pull her away before any damage is done.

Brock slides over and gently pushes Alix back, “Let it go. We need her to get to Yelena.” 

She freezes, “Yelena? That’s who your fucking contact is?”

John speaks up, “Apparently she didn’t know some things about Bucky and Peggy enlightened her for us.”

“I have a hard time believing that but,” she growls again at Juliette, “we don’t have a choice. After this, though, you’re fucking done and I’ll kill you myself.”

“Okay okay, so what does it feel like?” 

Bucky stares up at the night sky, blue eyes scanning over the stars and the full moon. The grass under his head crunches as he turns it to look at Y/N. 

“What does what feel like?” 

“Drinking, what does it feel like?”

His brows furrow although he knows what she’s referring to. 

“Don’t make me spell it out,” she gives him a bored look but does so anyway, “what does drinking someone’s blood feel like?”

“What does drinking water feel like?”

She rolls her eyes, “I mean does it feel good?”

“It can feel like an orgasm sometimes.” 

Sharply inhaling, she quickly recovers and attempts to pick a new subject, “can you eat human food?”

He turns his head back with a smirk, “it’s like when you can’t stop thinking about someone all day and you’re so turned on that it hurts. Nothing makes it better, your hand doesn’t do the job but there isn’t a toy that compares either. The only thing that makes it even a little bit better is the person that you’ve been thinking of. When you finally do get to fuck them, you almost don’t last but when you do cum, it’s life changing. You forgot your name and how to breathe , all that you can think of is them. That’s what drinking from someone feels like.” 

While he can’t see her, he can feel how her body has gotten hotter and how she’s started to squirm so much that she accidentally brushes against his side. He didn’t need to use any of his heightened senses to tell that his little monologue had the desired effect. 

“I can show you,” he offers. 

“Show me? What are ....” She trails off when she realizes what he’s actually offering and he chuckles, “do it.”

Courage swirls in her chest albeit not for long as he moves from laying beside her to settling between her legs. The muscles of his bicep bulge as he lowers himself to whisper against her ear, “you think I don’t hear your moans at night when you touch yourself or how frustrated you get because it’s your hand and not mine?” 

Y/N’s eyes open wide at his confession and she can feel his smirk grows even bigger as he dips his head to kiss under her ear. 

“I can’t say that I’m much better though. Ever since that night, all I’ve thought about is you. Everything is you, you, you,” he emphasizes his point with wet kisses that trail down her neck and jawline, " I can't tell you how many times I’ve found myself in front of your door at night.”

“Coward,” she mutters and he freezes. 

Bucky pulls back enough to look at her, “what did you just call me?” 

Taking this opportunity, she pushes up onto her elbows and almost causes him to fall to the side. 

“I called you a coward for not doing anything,” she playfully teases him, “if you can hear me saying your name, you can definitely hear everything else I say in between.”

“I’m the coward? No no,” he leans into her, “I think you’re the coward here. My room is only two doors down, Dragă and i’ve never found you outside my door..”

“I only found that out a few days ago.”

“That’s a lie,” he snorts, “I distinctly remember pointing out my room to you when we got here. If you weren’t listening because you’re too hard headed, that’s on you.”

Y/N fully pushes him back and he does fall to the side this time. She springs to her feet and starts to walk backwards. 

“Where are you going?” He asks as he gets to his feet and she starts walking faster away from him. 

“To my room.”

“Why’s that?”

She gives him a wink and says, “to test if you’ll come into my room tonight,” before taking off in a full sprint towards the house. 

He shakes his head and chuckles before chasing after her. 

A twig snaps off to his right and a pair of gold eyes flash beyond the tree line.

Yelena curses under her breathe as she ducks behind the trees so neither Bucky nor Y/N sees her. The owner of the gold eyes comes to her side, shivering and wrapping her coat around her tighter.

“We couldn’t have met during the day?” Juliette muttered, rubbing her arms with her hands.

The blonde nervously looks toward the house before speaking, “no. I’m already doing something stupid, I don’t want to add to it.”

“Fine. Did you bring it?”

The it being a gun, Bucky’s matte black Glock 19 to be exact, that Yelena pulled from her holster.

“You can get rid of the hex, right?”

Juliette takes it from her hands and examines the gun, “I mean not entirely. I can reverse it so that the hex effects Peggy but that’s all. Will that be a problem?”

Shrugging, Yelena glances back at the house, “if you’re not lying to me, then she deserves this. Alix still thinks I’m helping you, right?”

Juliette nods, “only problem is she’s starting to get impatient so the timeline is speeding up and I don’t know how long you have anymore .”

“Don’t worry about me,” Yelena assures her, “just get the hex reversed and bring it back as soon as you can. I’m sure Bucky’s going to find out you’re here soon enough so we’ll be ready for her.”

The other woman gives her a skeptical look but let’s her worries go nonetheless. She tucks the gun into her waist and disappears into the forest behind them.

Stress grows thick in Yelena’s heart but she still knows that what she’s doing is the right thing… for Y/N. Partnering with the enemy would be frowned upon usually but if the enemy is turning against their own, it’s a different story or so she hopes.

Many fans love to imagine the Darkling as a "girl dad," but I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, he’s a deeply lonely character who craves connection and someone to share his eternal life with. Having a child could fulfill that desire and give him a sense of companionship. However, I also think he might see the idea of fatherhood as a vulnerability, something that could make him weak or distract him from his ambitions. There's also the fear that a child could inherit his power and become a threat to him, which could make him wary of the idea altogether.

It's interesting to consider, especially since his mother had many children, even though she's not the best example of a nurturing parent. Plus, there's the fact that Leigh Bardugo didn't answer the question about whether the Darkling ever had children, which leaves us with little to go on.

Personally, I’m torn. Would he have a child with someone he loves? And if he did, would he be a girl dad or a boy dad? It's hard to say, but it's definitely an intriguing thought.

I have thought about it many times myself, anon.

Would he have a child with Alina specifically? (since she's the only one we have seen him being intimate with).

He would be affectionate with her in the privacy of their rooms, he would be generous and kind if their relationship went well. But having a child is something different. It's possible that after several decades of being together, he would consider it. But he would find that the cons outweigh the pros.

There's also the matter of his own upbringing. Just like you said, seeing his mother having many children and abandoning them is not a happy or encouraging pattern to replicate and neither is Baghra controlling him the whole of his life and calling him "boy".

I also don't think that he would like to condemn a child of his own with immortality. He knows that Baghra willingly did this without caring about the consequences for her child. But while we know that Baghra is a character that simply doesn't care for anything, Aleksander is the opposite. He's the one that thinks before he acts. He's not irrational or impulsive and he would prefer to find someone immortal than simply create one. Otherwise he would have had a child a long time ago. And even if he did, where is it? Why doesn't he let him/her accompany him (even in secret) if he's so alone? In RoW he mentioned allies, friends, lovers but never a child.

Now whether he would have a girl or a boy, I'm not sure. Genes are complicated. 😭

Lets also finally talk about the s4 episode titles. (Yes, I know I'm way late. Give me a break 😭)

⚠️⚠️ Possible s4 spoilers! ⚠️⚠️

"The Unbearable Tragedy of Getting What You Want"

Right, so there's 2 theories going around. The first one is that it's about Allison. She got what she wanted, a life with both Ray and Claire. And something about that goes terribly. The second one is Reggie. He gets what he wants, a good timeline where he's in charge of the world. Something goes wrong. All actions have consequences.

I'm here to propose a third theory. Everyone. It's bad for everyone. Of course there's another doomsday, regarding ben, we'll get to that in a moment, but I also think there's other reasons.

We'll start off with Luther. He is seen as a stripper. This I'm sure everyone knows now. He looks to be quite happy and content with that. But maybe it's too much attention on him. Something going wrong one way or another.

He is also seen putting on a helmet, a space suit. Is he going back to the moon? Is that just a costume? Is he cosplaying himself? (Okay, probably not). Or is this a consequence of something?

Next is Diego and Lila. They get a wonderful and happy life with their kid. That in itself can be a tragedy, restless nights, responsibilities, etc. But again, does this give them attention on themselves? And is the kid powered? My theory is yes. Absolutely. That will definitely cause problems.

We already know Allison. She has her perfect life with Raymond and her daughter Claire. But nothing is perfect. Can Ray and Claire really just be together like that and get along? Ray is a first time parent, how will that go? Allison still has her powers, and we know how that went with Patrick.

Klaus is a germaphobe. It's obvious now; With the gloves and the mask and everything. I don't really know what he would want... my guess is to get sober, and I think he does. He raises the glass but never drinks it:

The consequence is definitely going through withdrawal, but knowing the show, (of my theory is correct) there has to be more.

Five wants a 1970s corvette stingray. Okay, so, nothing there, but I still think he deserves it. Five wants a normal life. No apocalypse, no doomsday, no repeatedly seeing his siblings die. He wants a normal life. And then he joins the CIA. (I have read nothing about this, I am trying to avoid the interviews and everything because I want to go in almost blind. There are pros and cons to it, so I might watch 1 interview, so I'm not disappointed and know what to expect. I have seen/glimpsed at some things saying Five is in the CIA). This is on brand for him. And with Reginald in charge of things, I can see him wanting an inside scoop of everything, even if he says he wants to be retired. His whole life has been action, and he can't get away from it. The consequence of this would be learning something he doesn't want to know. Something happening because he learned it or something along those lines.

Ben, we know him. Okay, we don't, really. He's almost a mystery because he's more "sparrow" than "umbrella". But we do know that he's the one to cause doomsday this time. And it has something to do with the "Jennifer incident."

Viktor is the last one. He was the last one to leave at the end of s3, too. I'm not sure what he wants. His family is my guess. A normal life. And that doesn't exactly happen because doomsday is approaching again. But he heads to reginald. Why? I don't know.

I'll talk about Reggie, too. He gets what he wants with him being the center of everything, but as I said, actions have consequences. A number of things can go wrong, like people finding out he's an alien. And what his real plan is. Because there's bound to be one. He also got Abigail, his wife, back. The butterfly effect will definitely be a problem with that. With everyone, actually.

Despite the title of the episode, the logline Blackman added was, "Who doesn't love a good birthday party?" This we can assume to be about Diego and Lila's kid. Or maybe all the hargreeves's get together for their birthday? I doubt it, though. Why summarize this episode with that? Guess we'll find out.

"Jean and Gene"

Well, we know that they are married. Dr. Jean Thibedeau and Dr. Gene Thibedeau. So this will be all about them and who they are.. I assume. What their role is in this timeline. They seem to be like the commission. Correcting the timeline.

The brief summary was, "They both wear the pants in the relationship." So they're both responsible, it makes sense, but it doesn't give much for us..

"The Squid and the Girl"

Okay, so we all know it. This is all about the Jennifer incident. We know that's a big part, the trailer having a scene where Five is asking how Ben really died. And then also a clip of ben seemingly dying with a girl by his side on the ground.

Blackman summarized this as "Two paths cross, one squid enters." Ben finds Jennifer in this timeline, and it triggers something? This is how all their powers are back? Maybe..?

"The Cleanse"

Everyone's initial thought is Klaus. It makes sense with his powers whatnot, but I think it's the universe. All about trying to "cleanse" the timeline and get it back to normal.

The summary was, "There's not enough sage in the universe, apparently." Which was supposed to be a nice little funny thing. But there is a clip in the teaser (I believe) of Klaus with presumably sage. Like he's a "spiritual" guy now. So I also agree with everyone's thoughts on this being about Klaus.

"Six Years, Five Months, and Two Days"

Right, well, it's safe to assume that this is the exact time jump happened. We know that s4 is set six years later. So my guess is we'll get everything about what their lives were like during that time.

Blackman described it, though, as "The Hargreeves siblings find themselves doing through impossible: teaming up with their father." So the episode (my guess) will also be about what halted their normal lives. Exactly what happened that made them realize there's another doomsday and why and how they teamed up with Reggie to stop the impending apocalypse again.

"End of the Beginning"

It's not the end. Of everything I mean. It's the end of something. No pun intended, I mean it. It will never be over for the hargreeves siblings. It just won't. But it will be the end of something. The end of "the end of the world" hopefully.

Blackman gave a sad summary sentence. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger... right?" It's sad because I mistakenly learned that Ben will not be in the final scene. This raises warning signs and bells everywhere. My first thought is that he's dead. And I can't have that. So I'll go with something else. Ben survives, "What doesn't kill you." But he doesn't get stronger. If anything, weaker. Because of "... right?" Something happens, but he's not dead. Or maybe we take it a different route. "What doesn't kill you" all of the doomsdays and the work that went into stopping them "makes you stronger... right?" brings the siblings together. They get through it all together. But their bonds are broken. They're leaving. They all want normal lives, and maybe they can't have that with each other. So their bond gets weaker. Not stronger, no matter how much they worked together. And the show ends on a bad note. Everything comes to light, and we can be content with all the information, but it's done. No more hargreeves interactions.

I don't want it to end badly. I want it to end well. But maybe if I believe the worst, I'll be happy when it turns out better than I thought, and I won't cry as hard. Okay, maybe I still will. But that's besides the point.

Being able to visit my grandpa again in azerbaijan and celebrating his birthday 🤲💕

It was also cool to have my first job but to be real. Best part was ofc receiving money KWVDJJWD my colleagues were kind but my superior with whom I interacted the most had such a... idk heavy, stressed, negative aura. I hope she is doing well but god, that made me so anxious. Social anxiety was NOT helping. So yeah, quitting felt also amazing uwu

Zeno Robinson is literally the nicest man alive! 😭 I went to a Con a couple of weekends ago to meet him. I was pretty emotional and anxious cuz it's ZENO ROBINSON. I told him the story of my feather tattoo, how it's a dedication to Hawks and that it covers some of my old cutting scars. How Hawks is SUCH a comfort to me and how much having my tattoo means to me.
