Because of that he'd be nervous. Johnny has a huge ego but he also has huge debt and a dwindling career so he'd be worried about how he'd even take care of this child 

He'd work extremely hard to get more money. He'd even sell his house to get a smaller one that's more affordable (that's how you know he's serious)

He covers his nervousness with humor. This is a whole human he's gonna be raising now

The closer the delivery date gets, the more nervous he gets. His partner moves a little weird and he's “IT'S COMING!”

Calm down Johnny. Damn. 

The entire delivery he's jumpy as fuck. He didn't realize how long it'd take and his nerves are through the roof

At first it's fine, then he remembers he has to consistently deal with a baby and he's like “I may have miscalculated”

Why do babies shit so much? They're so small. 

Terrible Twos have him stressed 

When the baby's teething he slowly starts to lose his grasp on reality. All the yelling drives him nuts but he's locked in now 

He tries to use his baby as a challenge to keep him motivated but honestly babe, you're never winning that challenge. Babies are unpredictable 

He has to learn that. Babies are a learning experience and you can't try to use them as some great challenge. Just relax and take things one at a time 

He also teaches his baby how to fight 

Makes them a mini hat but puts something non sharp on the edges, like crayons or something 

Some may think “oh a daughter! She has to be feminine and sweet and blahblahblah!”

His daughter is learning some Leon Kennedy moves 

After what he's been through he's definitely teaching them how to fight because conflict will always happen. You're never catching his daughter slipping

I feel like Raiden would have kids when he's older. Idk why but I think he'd be way more careful than everyone else 

So when he hears he's having a baby, he's both nervous and excited 

He's on it. Decorating the nursery, reading books, looking at websites, he's on it all. 

He wants to be prepared so he doesn't mess up 

Messing up is inevitable but don't tell him that 

Once the baby is here, he's super happy. The room is already decorated and he's so glad they can lay in there 

Super affectionate towards his baby. Constantly kissing her head and playing with her 

If any of the other Earthrealm men have a baby, he insists on playdates 

Even if they don't, he plays with his daughter enough 

The type to actually make his voice higher when playing with dolls

Gives his kid cute nicknames that they'll undoubtedly get embarrassed by when they're older 

Are we surprised he also teaches his daughter to fight? No. 

He was minding his business and was told he had to help protect Earthrealm. His kid gotta know how to scrap 

He keeps a good balance of combat and normal childhood so it's fine 

He does little lightning shows for his kid. Is it irresponsible? A little. Is Liu Kang gonna take it back though? No. 

Raises a daughter similar to him; soft spoken and sweet but is willing to throw down when necessary 

He's the parent that genuinely hears his kid out when they get in trouble 

Since this is his first kid he's new to all of this so making mistakes is something that'll happen. Good thing about Raiden tho is that he's willing to apologize when family conflict happens 

He takes so many pictures, it's ridiculous 

Takes pictures the entire first week of school and is spamming Kung Lao with them

He's really invested in child drama ngl. A kid threw a book at another kid? Tell him more so he can gossip with Kung Lao

Discipline is difficult for him because he honestly doesn't know what to do. He's worried he's being too harsh and doesn't wanna push his kid away. It's common knowledge that they'll grow up, move away and he won't see her as much so he doesn't want to push them away and lose them earlier than necessary 

Kids need some sort of discipline though so he gotta figure it out 

When his daughter no longer needs him to check the closet for monsters, his heart might shatter a little bit ngl 

He's taking it one step at a time and honestly? He's doing really good 

Liu Kang

Probably didn't even know he could have kids

He just assumed a keeper of time was outta the game so wdym a baby is on the way?

Liu Kang has watched humans evolve so he's watched plenty of parents raise their babies so he has a lot of references 

He's not as nervous as everyone else. Like I said before, he has plenty of references of what to and what not to do so he's pretty confident in his abilities 

He's only nervous about the threats they'll face once they're alive. Man is used to fighting for his life 

Decorates the nursery and child proofs the entire house 

Makes sure his partner is incredibly comfortable. He wants them completely relaxed 

He packs the bag for when the delivery happens, he doesn't leave the room unless necessary, he's really supportive. 

Once the baby is here he's lowkey hogging the baby 

Thinks his partner should be relaxing after so the baby is always in his arms 

This baby to him is the most precious thing he's ever seen. Having a family is something he really wants so he's on cloud 9

Watching over his kid to see if they get any powers like him, which is likely 

Liu Kang has a good balance between discipline and softness. He's not super strict but he doesn't just let them get away with anything

Fighting skills will be impeccable. Say excuse me if you bump into her or she's going 2 back flips, lighting her body on fire and blowing the area up 

He wants to spend so much time with his daughter. He knows how fast time flies. He's seen humans not appreciate each other and that's not happening with him. His daughter will know she's loved 

He has references like I said earlier but that doesn't mean it's the easiest to do. He tries his hardest though and is probably the most patient

He's more excited for the firsts than they are. This is not your first day of school Liu Kang, why are you so geeked?

Other dads can be really stressed when it comes to their kid growing up but I think he's more accepting of it. Is it sad seeing his baby grow up? Yes. He's used to the idea of aging though. Also his kid is immortal like him so he's comforted by the idea of them never growing older than him 

Liu Kang is a parent that is 100% ok with admitting when he's wrong. There's no toxic shit with him. If he fucked up, he fucked up.

satoru was thrilled to finally take a break and spend his time with you and his three-year-old daughter on a vacation after all those tiring missions that caused him to come home late at night—sometimes even early in the morning—only for him to go back to work a few hours later. you definitely were as well; you couldn't wait to have your husband more to yourself (and your daughter). however, there was just one problem.

you looked at your body in the bathroom mirror with a disappointed look in your eyes. you wore a light blue bikini which satoru insisted on getting you along with ten other swimsuits that would look stunning on you—his words, despite telling him you wouldn't be needing that many.

it was perfect. it fit you just right, and your body looked better than you had expected. the color complemented your skin tone, and the bikini accentuated all your best features. you loved it.

the real problem was the stretch marks on the lower part of your stomach. you couldn't help but feel self-conscious about them, as they seemed to stand out against the flawless backdrop of your bikini. despite knowing that stretch marks are a natural part of many people's bodies, especially after pregnancy, you couldn't shake off the nagging insecurity they brought. 

"i'll just wear a shirt over it," you mumbled as you walked towards the suitcase and took out a white oversized t-shirt, wearing it over your bikini. you sighed as you took a look at the mirror again. although you really wanted to go out without the shirt, you didn't feel confident enough to do so. 

you heard giggles entering the bedroom, causing you to smile a bit and almost making you forget the self-consciousness you felt just a moment ago. you exited the bathroom to see your husband wearing a floral beach shirt with buttons undone, revealing his abs, and his signature black glasses, and your daughter held in his arms, wearing her swimsuit and her hair tied into two ponytails. "we're ready!" satoru exclaimed happily.

"let's go, mommy!" d/n said, her voice unable to contain her excitement.

you went closer to them and took d/n from his arms for you to hold her. you attacked her face with kisses. "you look so adorable, my love!" you said. "i love you so much."

"i love you too—ah! it tickles!" d/n said between her cute laughs and tried to move her face from the attack, unable to bear the feeling, when satoru came and copied your actions behind her. "daddy, not you too!"

you stopped the 'torture' a few seconds later, so did he. you gave your little girl one last kiss on her forehead before letting her go and making her stand on the floor. "oh, I forgot my toys!" d/n gasped and ran to her room. "how are we going to make a sandcastle without them!? please don't go without me!"

you laughed at how your daughter looked adorable running away and quickly reassured her, "don't worry, sweetheart. we'll wait for you!" 

you turned to face satoru, who looked quite sulky all of a sudden. "what about me, baby?" satoru pouted, his lower lip stuck out. "i also need my kisses."

you chuckled as you cupped his face in your hands. "come here, love." you brought his face closer to yours in order to close the gap between yours and his lips.

"there," you said, smiling. satoru was indeed satisfied, as you could tell from his grinning like a child getting candy. "now let's go, shall we?"

"you're not wearing your bikini?" he noticed.

ah shit, you thought. of course, it's impossible to get away with stuff when it's satoru you're dealing with.

you nervously let out a laugh. "um, I don't feel like wearing it today..." you muttered while playing with the hem of your shirt and looking at his feet.

"but you were so excited to wear them," he said, suddenly becoming worried. "are they not to your liking? do they not fit? are they defective? you could've told me while i was—"

"it's not that, satoru," you interrupted his babble. "it's just..." you trailed off, debating whether you should actually tell him or come up with an excuse—

nah, the excuse wouldn't work. not even in your dreams.

you sighed defeatedly. instead of telling him, you took the shirt off to show the root of your worries, revealing your body. 

satoru's blue eyes widened and his breath hitched a little. although he had seen everything of you, you never fail to make him go crazy and take in all of your beauty as if he was looking at you for the first time. 

you were looking at him expectantly, waiting for his response. your husband cleared his throat. "what's wrong with it? you look gorgeous."

you couldn't help but blush. you receive compliments every now and then from him, but they make your heart flutter every time. you never got used to how he articulated his words just to praise you, and never will. 

"can't you see?"

"see what?"

"the stretch marks." 

satoru's eyes scanned our body for the marks until he spotted them. he knitted his eyebrows together in confusion. to say he was frustrated was an understatement. "what are you even saying? those marks are the best part!"

now it was your turn to be puzzled. "what do you mean? how can you possibly think these stretch marks look beautiful on me?" you asked, as a lump appeared in your throat and you felt tears collecting in your eyes.

satoru smiled softly and gently held your hands, looking into your eyes. "to me, they are a reminder of the strength of your body," he explained. "they remind me that you carried a life—our daughter—for months to bring her into this world. they make you ten times more beautiful." he went on his knees to be eye level with your stomach. 

you didn't understand what he was trying to do at first when he started leaving trails of kisses, tracing the marks on your body. "i love everything about you, baby. you don't need to worry about these little things. your stretch marks are beautiful. you are beautiful, y/n."

you couldn't help but let the tears fall, trickling down your cheeks. you felt so loved, and now you were overwhelmed with gratitude. you already knew it, but it was in that moment that you again realized how lucky you were to have someone who saw the beauty in every part of you, flaws and all. the weight of self-doubt and insecurity lifted off your shoulders as you embraced the unconditional love he had for you. 

your husband stood up and looked at you lovingly as you sniffled and wiped away your tears. he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you into a warm embrace, kissing the top of your head. "thank you, satoru. i love you.."

"i love you too, y/n."

"i found my toys!" d/n entered the room enthusiastically. "let's go!"

when you and satoru let go of each other, she saw you completely and gasped, jumping up and down. "mommy, you look so pretty!"

"yes!"

you went towards her and held her, kissing her face repeatedly once again. "you look prettier, sweetie."

you felt yourself being lifted off the ground until you realized satoru picked you up bridal style, with d/n in your arms. "let's get going, ladies." he announced.

with a smile, you nestled closer to satoru, enjoying the feeling of being in his arms. "lead the way," you said playfully. as satoru carried you and d/n out of the room, excitement filled the air, and you couldn't help but feel grateful for this beautiful moment.

What an... Interesting assortment of characters for this event. Like Vil, Leona and Lilia in the same room? Dialoguing? Wild 😭. Kalim is just vibin tbh.

My first impressio was Farena possibly wanting Leona to come home and bring some "NRC friends" but I he would not invite Lilia or Vil willingly, so it has to be a school trip situation (I can hear the bickering and teasing from here). Also?? Idk if it's just me but Vil's outfit is my least favorite. I'm sorry to say but that shade of yellow is not his color. Everyone else is slaying tho.

My predictions (wishlist) for this event is:

We get to see how the people from Sunset Savanna see Leona and interact with him. At school he's more of a regular guy despite the prince status so hopefully we get to see how he's regarded at home, esp. by his servants.

Ruggie and Rook are in this event as well. We get to see the slums Ruggie came from, but I think that's unlikely.

FARENA. Farena's face reveal, Farena interacting with Leona, Farena interacting with Cheka, Farena embarrassing Leona in front of his classmates.

FARENA INTERACTS WITH MC. Farena tries to hug Grim cause he is cute and nearly crushes his bones 😊

It's a unique group to be sure! I wonder how the event's story will rationalize these particular individuals being picked to head to the Sunset Savanna? (It was interesting seeing how they did it for the other two hometown events for Silk City and Harveston~)

ahbdadbasilbda I DON’T THINK LEONA WOULD BE EAGER TO LISTEN TO HIS BROTHER 🤡 Dude probably just throws up the middle fingers and tells Farena to fuck off and stop treating him like a baby/j Maybe it’s an order from the queen??? Leona has already demonstrated before that he more easily caves to demands made of him by his brother’s wife (like her asking him to visit home on breaks and to send pictures of him in his ceremonial robes). He can’t exactly tell the queen “No, I’d rather NOT bring my asshole classmates home, thanks.” 😅 Or maybe it’s some very important national holiday or diplomatic situation Leona can’t ignore??? For as callous as he comes off sometime, he does genuinely care for his country and wish the best for it and its future.

This new event will be starting around the 7th of February, which is a lot sooner than I had expected it to drop. I’m positively vibrating with excitement!!!

I’m????? So curious about the Sunset Savanna and its people 😭 especially knowing that the palace servants were so gossipy about Leona as a child???? I wonder if they treat him any differently now that he’s an adult. Maybe they just avoid him if they can, because it sure would be ballsy of them to shit talk him to his face and risk getting evaporated or maybe even told off by his brother (because I don’t think Farena would just let others insult his family like that).

I hope Rook and Ruggie can join, but I think we’ll probably spend more time in the palace and that general area, if only because Ruggie’s hometown isn’t exactly... glamorous to explore, for lack of a better term. Seeing that, contrasted with the pomp of palace life and its ceremonies can be... jarring, to say the least, and I don’t know if TWST wants to go down that route for a feel-good hometown event. I’d love to meet Granny Bucchi and see where Ruggie comes from, but the fact of the matter is that I also worry about how settings of extreme poverty are portrayed 💦It’s not easy to tackle, that’s for sure (especially considering that Ruggie has mentioned things like starving children). (Note: the event synopsis is out now and indeed, it looks like we’ll be mainly situated in the capital (Dawn City) and the palace!)

Judging from how the other hometown events went, it’s not always the SSR boy that invites Yuu to join them! Kalim was the one that did it for Silk City (despite Jamil’s protests), while Epel did it for Harveston. It’ll probably be the character that is most friendly that extends the offer, or maybe some authority figure like Crowley or Leona’s family members that want Yuu to go along. I don’t think Leona would realistically be happy with Yuu (and Grim) coming, if his grumpiness in episode 5 is anything to go by (when Grim calls out to him in classroom 3-A). Alternatively, Leona could invite Yuu but have a practical reason for their presence rather than being friendly with them.

It feels weird to compare new idols with older generations,but idk how else to put it she’s cheerful and positive but is also slightly more reserved if that makes sense…I also thought that she might like flower arrangement / might come from a family that owns a flower arranging business OR just likes flowers idk I might have misunderstood it somehow but she might

Otomune Kozue - 2nd year,mint / teal image color,kind of a ojou-sama type?? Which idk if we’ve really had before besides maybe Maki? Idk but she’s very reserved and calm,Kaho seems to look up to her a lot and she teases Kaho a bit back about not studying bc she takes studying and idol practicing,but yeah I think their dynamic is rlly cute so far

Murano Sayaka - 1st year,blue image color and oh my god she’s BABY!!!! Potentially one of my favorites out of these girls,she’s a little softer and shy (??) but she wants to try her best!! Yes I’m biased bc idol characters like her are usually the ones that become my favorites,but listen she’s just so CUTE ok like her design,her personality,her VOICE all of it is great (+ also she’s really good at figure skating which from what we know fits her super well plus she might know Tsuzuri from figure skating?? Idk)

Yugiri Tsuzuri - 2nd year,red image color and I literally said to myself “guess we gotta have a tbh creature girl every generation now” fndjdj there’s no other way to describe her I also like her a lot so far,she’s mysterious and quiet but also kind of silly and has a lot of gap moe…sort of like more mature Rina,idk how else to put it she’s rlly cute and again her + Sayaka have a super cute dynamic like they both help each other out of their shells in a way?? But Sayaka also spoils her a lot and reveals this less serious side to her too,I like it a lot also her voice sounds similar to Moca from Bandori which I think is nice

Osawa Rurino - 1st year,pink image color and well…we got our Nico / Kasumi / Natsumi type,she’s super energetic and a little bit smug?? Currently watching - Update CW4

I finally got around to updating my "currently watching" list 😊

I will knock you (Thailand, currently airing): I'm in love with this cute little series! It's got pretty much everything I like: An opposites attract couple, vintage fashion, delinquents, a really good OST, the characters are likable and really cute (I love Noey's side kick, he's so funny lol), a wholesome story, and it's even got kink (Noey is a baby dom and you can't convince me otherwise, also Thi is a cute sub). All in all it's a 9.5/10 for me

Ameiro Paradox / Candy Color Paradox (Japan, currently airing): It's the story of an ex-host and an inexperienced coworker who of course falls in love with said host. In short, they're both idiots and I'm here for it 🤣 It's a 8/10

Between us (Thailand, currently airing): Unfortunately I'm stuck at ep7 right now. I think I'll wait until ep12 has aired and then watch the remaining episodes in one go. It's not a bad show, but I feel like something is missing. 6.5/10

Hit Bite Love (Thailand, currently airing): Tbh, I was really hesitant to start this one because of all the controversies surrounding some of the actors ages. But I'm glad I watched their ep0 in which they explained some things about the show. It looks like the makers actually want to portray realistic relationships between thai teenagers. They even asked government agencies and a kink expert for help, so it looks like they did a lot of research. The first ep was ok, even if the plot/scene cut was a bit messy. 6/10 for now

My School President (Thailand, currently airing): What a cute series! It's like a happy place I can come to after a tiring day at work. I really adore how much Tinn loves Gun (and vice versa). The side couples are cute as well and so far there have been no annoying characters, which is always a win. A 9.5/10 from me

Strangers from Hell (Korea, already finished): I just love psychos ok, don't judge lol. I can't watch this series everyday though, especially right now with all the drama surroundings BOC and how that mess has made me feel these past few days... But when I'm in the right mood to watch it, this series really keeps me on my toes. Possibly a 10/10!

The New Employee (Korea, currently airing): I didn't read the manwha (was it a manwha or a novel idk?), so it doesn't bother me that they've cut out a lot of the smut scenes. It's a cute office love story either way. And can I just say that I really want to have a superior like Jong Chan? I mean he's capable and smart and also gives praise were it's due. He also doesn't steal the achievements of others and pretends they're his own. And he's daddy as fuck XD Anyway the show is a 8/10 for me

I made an Encanto OC!

After thinking about it for months, and with help and support from amazing people these last weeks, I finally did it...

So I present to you Diego Orozco (who I'll call Diegoo for differentiation purposes)

Its still work in progress but more art and info about him under the cut!

Diegoo was born in the Encanto five years after its creation (which means he's 5 years younger than the triplets). His family has a farm, they raise chickens, goats, sheep and cows. Their main production is milk and cheese, but they also sell eggs and wool.

He works at the farm since he was a child, and gets really close to the animals. His father wanted him to learn how to maintain the farm and was really strict about it. His mother on the other hand was sweet and warm, she taught him how to weave, knit, music and never let him abandon school.

As a teen he was a troublemaker, he likes attention and has lots of energy, he wasn't a bully but can be rude when trying to play, he's rough and has trouble reading the room. He's bad at respecting limits, basically, but wants people to like him. Diegoo is a sensitive guy, but doesn't like to show his emotions, he feels like a burden when talking about how he feels.

Of the triplets, he's closer to Julieta, but not super close because she's always busy and had to grow up too fast. He's scared of Pepa and feels protective over Bruno because he's Julieta's baby brother (yes, he's still older but Diegoo doesn't care)

Once he's an adult he takes whole control of the farm, his father being too old to do it by himself. They sell the cows except one he's particularly close to, a jersey cow named Moonica.

He loves animals, refuses to sell meat. He likes children and loves having them around the farm. He obviously loves all the Madrigal kids just because they're kids, but plays favorites with Antonio and Camilo. (Idk how Pepa would feel about this)

His hair is black, curly and messy. His eyes look tired. He wears open overalls, tied around his waist when it's hot. His wool bracelet is really important to him, it's a gift from his mother.

Other facts: he has a heartbreaker reputation because some families tried to marry their daughters to him, he accepted the gifts and the dates but never formalized. Truth is, he's gay. He's scared of fire. His favorite color is dark blue and several parts of his farm are painted dark blue. He plays the guitar. Likes singing, bad singer.

He rescues an abandoned puppy which turns out to be a shepherd, he keeps him and calls him Lulo. They are always together, Lulo is a precious dog, playful and protective, kind with other animals and people. His collar is made of wool by Diego with the same techniques he learnt from his mother.

His name was pretty random, tbh, but I really liked Diego Orozco because it references two important Mexican artists (Diego Rivera and Jose Clemente Orozco) which is funny because he's not an artist nor Mexican, but I am, okay? Lulo is the name of a fruit and I have a tendency of naming pets after food. Moonica is just cute.

In modern AUs he's either a Vet or Vet student.

a/n: I just thought this was cute. Very self indulgent tbh since cgl fics are so a bit scarce in kpop fandoms. Especially for certain groups. Anyway I don’t go into depth on age and I’m probably writing his dialogue too old, but idk I tried. Please note: I am a primarily nsfw blog with occasional sfw that are labelled as such.

"Mama, Mama! Come ere' I made you something. " You turn to the voice echoing through the hall and smile.

Beomgyu comes bouncing through the halls, and into sight. His hair bounced with every step and you could tell from the glint in his eyes he was hiding something.

"That's so sweet love, what made you want to make me a gift?" You ask while drying of your hands and turning to the boy.

The brunette shifts on his feet, "W-well you're always so pretty and nice, so Gyu wanted to show you how pretty you are!"

"Aw love that's wonderful, do you wanna show me?" You urge.

Nodding his head, Beomgyu grabs your free hand and pulls you towards your shared room. You were smiling so wide at the excited look on his face. Always a little who's been playful, Beomgyu's have been nothing short of adorable since the first.

Stopping at the frame of the room the little turns towards you, and shields you view of the room. "Mama you gotta close your eyes, it won't be as pretty if you don't!" He whispers.

"Ok baby, I'll close them" You chuckle.

Once your eyes are closed Beomgyu grabs you hand and leads you into the room. He leads you up to what seems to be at the desk and bends down to pick up something.

"Ok Mama, you can open you eyes now." 

Blinking your eyes open, you register Beomgyu's beaming smile and a large piece of paper in his grasp. It's a messy portrait of you, but it's endearing how well he got your birthmarks and toothy grin. However, it's when you notice the scattered bits of makeup littered about the floor and desk that make your face fall.

Quickly noticing your mood change, the little's eyes widen as he lowers the drawing in his hands.

"Uh- Beommie did you use my makeup to make your drawing?" You softly ask.

Nodding his head, Beomgyu fully lowers the drawing. "Doesn't Mama draw on herself?" The boy tilts his head, trying to process his mistake. "Gyu thought it'd be pretty if he used the crayons Mama uses so it could look jus' like her." He continues.

Sighing to yourself, you take the paper from the boy and pull him in for a tight hug, "Thank you Beommie, but you can't use Mama's makeup like that. It's for her face. Like how Gyu's crayons are only for paper honey." You soothe. 

You can feel the boy nod against your shoulder, and you  press a kiss to the side of his head. "What am I gonna do with you bug?" You lightly sigh. 

"Mama can let Gyu draw on her!" The little gasps.

Pulling away to give you a wide grin as if he wasn't just upset, the boy starts to pick up the products littered about the room. Looking back at you, he points to the desk chair with a determined stare, "Chair Mama."

With raised eyebrows you sit and watch while your makeup collection is reassembled in haphazard piles. 

Once it's all gathered Beongyu taps a blush brush on his temple, feigning a serious face, as if he's assessing the canvas of his next masterpiece.

"Humph, Mama doesn' need much but Beommie will make her loads prettier than normal" He murmurs.

Ignoring the mirror beside you, you feel a powder being swiped across your lid with one finger while the boy applies eyeliner to your crease saying  he "doesn't wanna poke you". 

Moving to your cheeks, Beomgyu looks between two pans, tapping a finger on his lips before choosing the cream and smears it around the apples of your cheeks. Next you hear the tale tell pop of a lipstick and the boy gently lines your lips like he's trying not to color outside of the lines. Nodding to himself, Beomgyu takes a few steps back. 

Now with a brush behind his ear and most of his fingers stained, Beomgyu claps his hands and faces the mirror towards you, "Do you like Mama?" He whispers.

"I love it."

Style #3 Half-Body Couple Illustration Commission of Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy and Albus Severus Potter from my Royalty AU fic, drawn by @kidovna​ ((Instagram)) [[PLEASE DO NOT REPOST OR REMOVE ARTIST CREDITS (UNLESS YOU’RE THE ARTIST)]]

I’d like to preface this by saying this is the first time I’ve ever gotten a commission of scorbus (since normally I’m too focused on jeddy). This time, though, I decided to branch out. I’ve been getting so into my Royalty AU that I couldn’t help it. Of course there’s also the bonus that when it’s a commission, I can request scorbus the way I imagine them. Ergo why Albus is taller than Scorpius in this piece, because I am one of like five people on Tumblr who exclusively headcanon Albus as either taller or the same height as Scorpius (truthfully I headcanon them the same height, taller than James lol, but I like him taller in the Royalty AU because it fits better and considering their individual positions it is SO MUCH CUTER).

This commission embodies part of a scene from my Jeddy Royalty fic King and Lionheart. The context of the art takes place during James’ coronation, where royalty from other countries were invited to the celebration. Albus is just a prince, hence the golden circlet he wears in comparison to Scorpius’ crown, because Scorpius is the crown prince and future king of his country (James is future king in Al’s kingdom so Al is just your everyday prince, as you can probably assume). I don’t write about their dance, but they meet during the coronation and Albus, ever the gentleman, invited Scorpius to dance. We already know these boys have big hearts and an enormous capacity to love, and basically fall in love immediately. Their love is more of a side story in the plot but I really love them in this fic so far. They are SOFT.

Returning to chirping about the art itself, I love. I wanted to get a commission from @kidovna​ ever since @regulusarchieblack​ got a commission from her of Regulus and baby Teddy which is S O F T. Also because I’m head over heels in love with her version of Albus. The fluffy hair and soft eyes with the freckles. I love. So when she opened commissions I debated if I should try my luck before sending her a request.

I did send outfit and crown references, but every artist puts their own spin on things, and I’m absolutely in love with how Bhavna interpreted the references and added them to the beautiful royal babies.

I think my favorite thing about Albus is the circlet he’s wearing, because that is definitely a detail that kidovna took artistic liberties with. Since I couldn’t find a good reference for his head piece, I just sent her a whole bunch and said go crazy with the design, and she did, and it was worth it. It’s literally perfect. Both the gold of the piece itself as well as the red jewels (rubies I’d imagine) are a perfect nod to the fact Albus lives in the country that’s basically Gryffindor, where their colors are, of course, red and gold. But the green gems (emeralds!) are key nods to the fact he may live in “Gryffindor” with a family of Gryffindors, but he is, at heart, still and always will by a Slytherin. And tbh the emeralds are probably why Scorpius is drawn to Albus (and of course because of his pretty green eyes, Scorpius probably thinks he’s so fancy and elegant). And fuck. Fuck I’m not done with Al and the fucking metaphor that kidovna smacked onto this.

Word of advice, if you commission this goddess, let her take the reigns for some of the design, cuz she’s going to kick ass. Or maybe I’m just interpreting her design choices incorrectly because I’m absolutely feral. Kidovna if I’m interpreting this wrong let me know, but this is what I’ve taken from the art.

You can almost tell that Albus chose some of the clothes he’s wearing on his own. The black dress shirt he’s wearing under his tunic and coat has green accents, but the tunic and coat are black with gold accents (more Gryffindor-y). Then you see the red ascot and gloves, and I find myself wanting to jump off a bridge, because Albus in canon isn’t the biggest fan of red, so you can just imagine he was probably told or ordered to wear red if only to honor his country. I also love that Albus’ clothes are almost more constricting than Scorpius’. Cuz Scorpius is dressed in a delicately adorned green tunic with silver accents and white pants (that go up to his waist which is very, I don’t want to say sexy, but I mean, high waisted white jeans on pretty boys, come on). He looks so effortlessly regal and the crown fits him so well. Yes I asked for his hair to be a little longer on purpose, cuz it looks almost more royal? His hair is neat and probably soft as hell, styled perfectly without a strand of hair out of place (or maybe one or two falling into his eyes which Albus decides is ver cute). And I will forever defend Scorpius with brown eyes like his mother’s, which is why I requested him to have brown eyes instead of blue or gray like Draco’s (not that I don’t support pale eyes Scorpius cuz I doooo I just can’t get enough of him with brown eyes and there’s NOT ENOUGH ART OF HIM WITH BROWN EYES OK).

I think I’m done ranting now, and the point of it all is I’m in love with this art, I want it carved onto my gravestone, I’m obsessed with my Royalty AU, and I feel so lucky and honored that I was able to order this commission, because kidovna is such a sweet person, and it was so totally worth it. And I know I said the same thing when I got my commission of jeddy as royalty, but getting this commission motivates me even more to work on my fic, because I have a few specific Scorbus scenes that I do plan on writing (they’re just from someone else’s point of view, like someone witnessing them falling in love).

As requested by @spazzbot​. This AU was initially brainstormed on the GG fanworks server almost a year ago. Specifically, on the first day of 2020.

This is literally just "Tarvek and Anevka's mom was low-key Satan on a bored “let's be human for a decade or two to see what happens” jaunt, consequences happen because these kids are LITERALLY half-demon and arguably anti-Christs."

The subtle signs of wrongness would be fun too. Anevka tends to smile a bit too wide and sharp for a human face. Inexplicable uneasiness, here you can’t point at any specific thing that’s wrong but it’s uncomfortable. Uncanny valley prettiness, almost like the porcelain she became in other timelines. Skin isn’t supposed to be that smooth.

My brain's pre-nap contribution at that point was "Satan's pronouns when not pretending to Human are sin/sinself" which is! Certainly a thing.

Tarvek, at some nebulous future point: I mean, your ancestors were monsters, but my dad was a serial killer and my mom was literally Satan, instead of just figuratively like Lucrezia, so. I mean. I kind of get what you're going through.

Per @firebirdeternal: Tarvek and Anevka growing up with "you're allergic to holy water" and not questioning it until a little later because What.

And then they test it and it's like "yeah, no, there's a rash now. That stung. What the fuck."

It INFURIATES Gil in Paris when Tarvek tells him that's a thing, because there's nothing chemically different about Holy water and regular water. But no, this is somehow happening.

It gets logged in medical journals as a Valois genetic thing because, well, Mom was like that too, right?

One time they both go into a church for an Adventure and Gil is very annoyed to find that Tarvek is like. Faintly smoking. It smells like burnt hair in here.

Gil: What smells like burnt hairgel? Tarvek: [glares]

Gil decides that it must be something particular to the church, like a fungus or something in the stone, contaminating the air and water so it only LOOKS like the holiness is what's setting off reactions.

It is not.

Tarvek once got into an argument with someone and ate a slab of raw, completely uncooked meat as a power move.

SVV seems to work perfectly. Everyone is fine. We get the ‘you fight like ducks’ moment.

And then Tarvek bursts into flames, and everyone panics because no they fixed this what the fuck is he still infected with Hogfarb’s oh my god... and then everything settles down and he's perfectly fine. Not a scratch on him, no longer turning funny colors. Completely unharmed. He's in a nicely tailored suit and looks faintly stunned

"I just met my dead mom, who's apparently Satan. She told me that after I died the first time just now, I should be harder to kill later, especially with fire, because now there's more demon and less mortal and guys I think I'm going crazy." "Is that a martini?" Tarvek looks down. "Apparently."

Tarvek starts just. Randomly setting things on fire by glaring too hard and has to tone it down. Meanwhile, Agatha and Gil are having crises about how he's somehow getting PRETTIER.

Is he faintly glowing? Maybe!

Gil handles it by angrily sniping at Tarvek about how of COURSE he's an evil little rat with a background like that.

Tarvek just wants a nap and to forget this ever happened. Many people are sworn to secrecy. It's very awkward.

Still, SVV did something, for handwave-y reasons, and so they're linked now. Gil and Agatha both getting tiny flashes of the same shenanigans.

They get none of the powers. They just keep getting Weird Shit.

Other characters with divine influence are like "Did you.... did you make a pact with a demon?" "What no that's our boyfriend."

Bang’s family has their own evil god in the novels, but! Bang DID pick on Tarvek a lot in Paris. Satan cares more than Anevka does. Bang might get the sexy punishment.

I feel like the fact that no permanent damage was done and it taught Tarvek a lot of things means Satan isn't gonna be all that upset about it.

And let's be real, if there's a character in GG who could look the literal Christian devil in the eye and be like "Yeah I tortured your kid, what're you going to do about it?" it's Bang.

Even Satan doesn't know what to do or think about Othar.

Time for Luffy's fashion exam! Now, I'll be honest, I did skip an outfit because I decided I will be ending this whole thing with the Strawhat fashion show in Episode of Luffy. Also, sorry for the posting gap, I remembered I have other unfinished post sets. That being said, this is a very long one so let's do this!

Kid Luffy, Post-Enies Lobby & Fish-Man Island: I think it's super cute when Luffy has white t shirts with red based logos because it reminds me of the first picture. Makes him look baby plus, they can always be found in cute domestic EPs or fun, cute flashbacks. The shorts change over time and that's also kinda cute, a range of cuffs is a nice change up. It's nice to see the red contrast the blue shorts and the white is a nice color on him cos it contrast his hair!

Romance Dawn, Enies Lobby, Thriller Bark, Sabaody Archipelago, Amazon Lily, Marineford & last Dressrosa outfit: This look is the pre Luffy look. It's the pre Timeskip look everyone thinks of is cuffed shorts, Kimono sandels and sleeveless vest (and Strawhat, obviously) but have you ever seen them all in a line? It's mad. Each outfit is the same basic look bit more are more spicy each time! I like the Thriller Bark and Sabaody Archipelago looks a little bit more cos it's nice to see that jacket open and it feels like he was trying something new. I also feel that the buttons on the jacket look like the ones on Shanks' pegged ankle sailor pants when we first see him so that's cool. (it took me hours to find the name for his trousers, oh my fucking god) The last Dressrosa outfit feels like a nice callback to the rest of the line up here without being too much cos it's just a red vest top instead and I do find it funny it's like the Enies Lobby and it's used in Dressrosa because of the jokes people make about Robin and Law being so similar.

Timeskip: This is it lads, it's the one true icon itself, the post look! ☺️ When I sit back and look at it I see all the people this look is influenced by and want to cry at how masterful it really is. (Now, I do wanna say that I didn't come up with this nor am I the first to say it and I am definitely probably looking too much into this but) The yellow belt is taken from Shanks' red belt the first time we see him and the Shanks look Luffy is more familiar with. Now onto the jacket. I know it won't stand out as to why for most but it's Ace inspired! When Ace leave to become a pirate, the start of his adventure, he has his jacket open and Luffy having his jacket open also shows his scar from the ending of Ace's adventure. I also really appreciate how no one hides scars in this anime. Also, someone said that the style of the jacket and it's fancy frills could be in reference to Sabo's little jabot collar and honestly I do see it. it's quite subtle unlike Shanks' but not as hard to catch as Ace's so I enjoy thinking that it's there too. Lastly, he still has his cuffed shorts and kimono sandels because it's still Luffy's outfit at the end of the day and he is still who is is, just with a stronger appreciation of what people have done for him now. It's also his colour pallette for the pure fact he is the main character n needs his pallet. also sometimes he just has normal wooden sandels but the same outfit sometimes, it's a small detil a lot of people overlook but I prefer the sound of his Kimono sandels 😊

Dressrosa: I love this outfit cos it's stilly but also has very nice vibes. Looks ready for the beach but is really throwing hands and that's the best kind of outfit, it's a nice expectation subversion tbh. I also like how he tried to hide the Straw hat but not... All of it? And I love how the crew didn't actually question it either. It would have been super easy for one of them to just tell him to leave it behind or something but I do really love how respectful they always are of the hat. I myself have a hat that's super important to me and when I loose it I go mad.

Whole Cake Island: I love this arc for outfits! I swear if the actual content of it doesn't kill me, the act looks will 😭 it's all so magical and it knows it is! Like I said before, white is a good color on him as he has black hair but for the same reason, so is black! In this arcs outfit range, the Staw hat seems almost invisible and his outfit gets less and less 'Luffy' as the arc gose on showing this is not about him. He's not the focus of this arc and you can see that in a lot of the outfits thb. I also like the lack of blue and yellow, 2/3 of his colors as Sanji is often associated with those too as we've talked about before. Also, I like the little red strips on the white jacket with the gold buttons, idk why and I think it's nice that the last 2 outfits are so simple in general, it's a nice look for him. oh, what's that? A Pink jabot? Your killing me Lu, straight up killing me here lil' bro! Side note, is this the first time in canon Luffy has worn a suit jacket or is it the only time I've noticed? Cos DAMM!! Shits sick as fuck and I actually love that when wearing a suit jacket as such he always keep short on 😆

Spa Island, Z's Ambition & Strong World: WHOS READY FOR A RELAXING SUNNY DAAAYY!? (pun not intended but very much enjoyed) I actually adore the fact Luffy still tries to go swimming cos it was his favourite thing to do as a kid so like fuck Luffy is gonna give up on that. He's got his safety measures ready, what more do you want from him? I mean I personally want him not to swim with his hat on cos it's litrally Staw and that's not good for water but anyway Z's Ambition, am I right!? The top is so fucking cute and I just noticed those shorts are also ✨designer✨ fancy man!! Now, the pic of Zoro is the one I missed out before and it's also from Z's Ambition. I love that Luffy has the shark top but Zoro has the ocean shorts. I really love Zoro in this purple cos and thick white stripes really work with the ocean waves. It's really well put together and hes got dark brown sandels on to off set all the white but keep the purple from being a stand out color, it's cool! Than the last Luffy looks like he's at a fashion show. It looks like the shorts come from a kids set the shark top belongs to. Imagine those together, it'd be so cute. However, it isn't an ocean patten, those are clouds cos Nami has a bikini top with the same pattern in Skypiea and it's actually one of my favourites for her.

Boss Luffy Historical Special! This filler AU is so much fun, I think any it a lot. He has his hair up in that super cute and useless way that doesn't actually do much but I do have my hair like that a lot n it's just... nice? Idk, it's strange buy I like he did that. I really enjoy his Kimono more that the actual Wano one cos it's a lot more simple look. The Sai being tucked in in that way is also cool but kinda makes it look like it's stabbing him a bit 👁️👄👁️. I like the pin strips being like a faded purpleish cos if you just glance at it, it makes it look it fuzzy. The belt also looks very nice with the middle ligter bit. It really feels like the Wano one was inspired by this is a way cos of the color matches. Like, it's probably not but still.

3D2Y, Adventure of Nebulandia 😍 & Heart of Gold: Hat-less Luffy is both a sin and a blessing. Regardless, I LOVE OP BOYS IN HOODIES!! I had to show you this specific the 3D2Y because we don't see the hood and it's soooo cute cos it a paw 😍 but also 😬 cos it's like... Kuma's paw the thing that cause 3D2Y in the first place. But that's also why it's so cool at the same time and AHHHHHH 😄 Now! On to Nebulandia! I really like this movie but also in canon, how does he have that jumper? Who made it for him and can I have one? It's Usopp flag design so I guess it could be him but he doesn't seem the type. Point is I want one. Last of this set is some really cosy outfits!! "How much fur?" "Yes" am I right? Like the first one is sooooo cosy with all the fur! Plus, a funky new bamboo hat, always a good thing to have a new hat. I appreciate that you can see the zips on these too. Then the orange turtle neck one with little fluffy bits is just here cos it's so out of his usual looks, I had to at least mention it.

Strong world & Film Z: The shorts on the first one are really cute cos it's a light rosey pink with red fur and just a plain solid dark blue colour jacket works really well. Not to mention the fact he has a super cute orange and yellow flight helmet hat with goggles on under the Staw hat. The 2 bag straps also make an X which is a nice detail. The 2nd outfits in this movie are super fuckin cool ngl. It's so strange to see them all dress in black and have guns but I like the red shirt for him with the yellow highlighted parts. Makes the Straw hat actually work with the outfit instead of ignoring it. Film Z brings us the same flight helmet hat just brighter and without the goggles but also opens with this T-Shirt and Luffy being silly with it. I think that's the only reason to mention it, it's funny. Then the obligation pirate outfit, always stunning plus the meat belt.

Film: Gold & Stampede (also used in Cidre Guild): these are my top 3 Luffy outfits no matter what else I see. I love the straw cowboy hat sooooo much cos it's very Luffy. I like the balls they has as a team to choose white for all of them, considering they are all quite messy people, living for that dad shirt and I like the Golden chain around his neck but am always confused as to why it was never used against him. Like dude could and should have tried to choke him at least once, right? Anyway, the dress! Now, the dress isn't actually that good but it's my favourite because it shows how Luffy has no fucks about gendered things. On to of that, a big pink flower is wonderful and look at his confidences in it, he's so proud of it the boom, Nami told him he can't wear it! Lastly, the Stampede outfit!!! Just like the Nebulandia jumper, I have no idea who made it but it's irrelevant cos it's beautiful and I want it so badly. I like that it's white and red stripes, gives thenprefect vibes for Stampedes opening. The shirt is actually too big for him, you can see on his arms but it's actually super cute. I love the simple look of these shorts then the fact his yellow belt is replaced with white bandages and the black on the kimono sandels are now red? It's such a simple pallet and it's truly the best!

I also just wanna add, I think it's really cute when Luffy has the Straw hat on his back just cos his hair is really cute. Idk why, it's looks kinda cursed but cute at the same time

Trying to conceive was always a nerve-wracking trial and error process for those participating in the journey, and Harry and Y/n are no exception to those bumps in the road to starting a family.

The couple had waited till their one-year wedding anniversary to start trying for a child, making sure the marriage was going smoothly and both of them were able to devote as much attention to the child if they were to successfully fall pregnant.

The pair decided to both get exams to make sure they were fertile and another to make sure Y/n was healthy enough to carry a pregnancy, both of their results came back perfect for the two of them so you can imagine the confusion and upset they experienced when months went by without a positive pregnancy test. Harry and Y/n have been doing a lot of condoling each other, cooking comfort foods for dinners and taking their vitamins religiously to give themselves some hope, carbs and cuddles to carry them through this journey of bringing a new person into the world.

You’d think trying was the most fun part of making a baby yet months of constant sex did a number on the two. They were losing their libido, tired and sometimes sore from the constant friction on their most sensitive areas but the duo refused to give up.

It was a typical Thursday morning, Harry sending off emails while cramming toast into his mouth and Y/n was brushing her teeth, feeling particularly out of it that day. She was tired and sluggish, a bit queasy and just off.

By now taking a pregnancy test was part of her morning routine. She even had a designated cup next to the toilet she used to collect her first morning wee in to dip the tests in, every morning she took one just to see. She was never very good at controlling her curiosity and when it comes to something this life changing, well she just can’t stop herself.

Y/n swears her eyes nearly popped out of her head as she saw the second line, bright and bold perfectly straight next to the control line. It took a few minutes for her brain to truly comprehend the evidence in front of her, there were two lines.

She was pregnant!

After the initial shock started to fade, excitement flooded through her. A shriek of her husbands name rolled through the house prompting him to jump to his feet and rush towards the noise.

“What?! Are you okay?! Are you hurt baby? What happen-“

“Harry I’m pregnant! Look ! it worked! We’re having a baby!” Y/n held the positive test in the hair, thrusting it towards his wide eyes seeing the man shift from panic to being elated.

“Oh my god! We’re having a baby! My dick works!” Harry wrapped his arms around his wife before hoisting her in the air, spinning the both of them around while they cheered and let out happy tears.

That night the pair celebrated with a nice dinner and excitedly calling y/n’s obgyn to set up her first prenatal visit. The pair decided they’d keep their secret till they were in the clear, the first couple weeks of pregnancy are the most high risk time for miscarriage so they didn’t want to get their hopes up and let everyone know till they were sure this baby was going to make it to term.

 Y/n was 18 weeks along when the couple decided they were going to announce the news to their friends and family. Harry was giddy, obsessed with his wife’s tummy that was now starting to get a little curve to the lower part of it. He kept ultrasound pictures in his wallet and spend every evening reading baby books and making a list of names for their growing baby.

The first people they decided to tell was of course their mothers and siblings, it was a great experience lots of hugs, happy tears and celebration sweets. Everyone was over the moon, the couple had full hearts and tummy’s when they left Anne’s home. The couple had never felt happier in their lives.

Of course when it came to telling the news to the boys, Harry decided to whip out one of his dad jokes he’d already been hoarding in his mind. His jokes were always terrible, lets face it, but the boys loved to take the piss out of him and found his jokes entertaining now.

So, Harry invited the group over directing Louis to open the oven for him which inside was a bun- yes Y/n had to refrain from cringing at the horrible dad joke but she let him has his fun- and Louis reacted first with a confused glance to Harry. “Mate, ya’ not the best chef but I thought you’d know that cookin’ one thing at a time is a bit wasteful of the gas innit?” the man plucked the bread off the rack, handing it to Harry who was rolling his eyes since the other man didn’t seem to get the implications.

“Lou, what was in the oven?” he decided to throw him a line, the other guys just watching the interaction confused and waiting for Harry to reveal what the hell he was on about. “A roll Harold” Harry then huffed, “No! it’s a bun!”, Niall was now laughing finding the situation at hand seeing Harry getting mad over the guys not having a clue what he was trying to imply.

When the bickering filled the kitchen between the boys Y/n decided to step in- “Alright! Harry I told you the joke was rubbish, guys ‘bun in the oven’- the reference and horrible execution was a reference to me since I’m pregnant.” – only then did it click in all their heads, a chorus of ‘ohhhh’ and then excited congratulations followed. Louis of course took the chance to pick on Harry who gave him the finger before excepting the celebratory hugs and pats on the back, the boys giving Y/n a good cuddle too congratulating her on the pregnancy and telling her how excited they were to be uncles. A few making jokes to Harry about ‘getting it in’ and all that boyish banter.

The pair couldn’t be more thrilled at all the excitement that surrounded the arrival of their first born, Y/n was also happy she wouldn’t have to wear baggy clothes around them anymore either. Sweaters in august was a bit uncomfortable for a pregnant woman with hot flashes.

When the 20 week mark came, the couple decided to keep the gender a surprise till birth when offered the anatomy scan. They really didn’t have a preference as long as their bundle of joy was healthy, they were happy.

They had spent the last few weeks painting the nursery a pale yellow, making an accent wall with a neutral colored floral wallpaper, lots of vines and plants on it in a grey and white color theme. The room was fit for whatever gender their baby turned out to be, and it was now being filled with a crib Harry had put together- which he nearly had a breakdown over how many fucking screws and parts it had- and a nice changing table stocked with diapers, wipes and all the baby essentials.  

The little ones closet was organized by size, all hung neatly on hangers and in organized bins as well. A nice rocking chair with a little nursing station was in one of the corners, stocked with burp cloths and a nursing pillow as well as a few jars of nipple balm since breastfeeding can caused chapped skin on the breasts. They had a little dish with pacifiers sitting on the small table next to the chair, picture books and a few nice soft blankets folded on the small shelf below the drawers.

Everything was slowly but surely coming together, and now they couldn’t wait to welcome their baby into the world.
