in Across the Spider-Verse, Miguel describes canon event ASM-90 as “a police captain close to Spider-Man dies saving a kid from falling rubble during a battle with an arch nemesis”

this description alone shows that Miguel must be lying about canon events. for Pavitr’s ASM-90 event, Inspector Singh does nearly die saving a kid from falling rubble. however, it was not during a battle with an arch nemesis

the Spot is Miles’s arch nemesis, not Pavitr’s

plus, Miguel says earlier that Miles shouldn’t have been bitten, and if he wasn’t bitten, then the Spot wouldn’t exist. so if Pavitr’s ASM-90 was supposed to be the Spot’s doing, then Miles has to become Spider-Man! if he didn’t, and Spot didn’t exist, then Pavitr’s ASM-90 wouldn’t have happened! (according to Miguel’s logic)

i guess you could say Miguel’s web of lies is unraveling

now if there is one little detail in soc which they changed in the show and made me a little sad was that in the show jesper knows about wylan not being able to read/write before he knows about jan van eck being his father. 

in a way, when jesper finds out wylan is a mercher’s son he immediately thinks wylan is just a stupid, rebellious kid who chose to ‘ruin’ his life; but when it’s revealed that wylan is illiterate, that van eck sent him letters as a way to ridicule him, and that he wouldn’t hesitate to kill his own son, jesper’s growing sympathy and understanding towards wylan makes their relationship even more intriguing. 

on a sillier, less deep note, i do miss the teasing as well lol. but jack and kit were awesome and did so so so great with the material they were given, while also making it clear in interviews and etc that they have gone deeper into the works and understand their characters very well, which to me, makes them even more amazing, they genuinely care about their career as well as the characters they are playing.

i could go on all day about these little details in soc -especially those involving jesper and wylan bc my loves- that i felt were missing in the show, but at the end of it all i did enjoy the show fairly well, and i understand the changes that were made. hoping very hard for soc spin-off.

But given the circumstances, I get why he's trying to keep himself together; If he goes feral, he risks making a mistake or causing collateral damage, and that could mean hurting Kacchan(or the others)

Clearly, he knows this so he's trying to rationalize it, to stay "calm" (even though he is still clearly livid)

Like once Katsuki is back up, once the stage is cleared for it without Izuku becoming too dangerous towards the others, once he is BOLSTERED, I want him to go ham. But on AFO specifically.

question for my fellow merthur compatriots, i recently started reading a merlin canon fix-it where merlin’s modern name was emrys hunithson, and like i love that name, touching, meaningful. but that and another post on this website has me thinking about the lovely alternatives merlin might use as his name in a modern world.

like yeah, he could go by merlin emrys, merlin hunithson, emrys hunithson

but imagine if he took up the last name pendragon.

1500 years pass and merlin’s traveling the world as merlin pendragon, as emrys pendragon or better yet

ambrose pendragon.

merlin signs all his contracts and credit card receipts with the name a. pendragon.

arthur and the rest of the roundtable + gwen + morgana return but can’t find merlin. WHY?

because they’re looking for the wrong name.

Ghosts move… strangely. Almost cartoony or animated. They move as if they were animated on 1s and the rest of the world was animated on 2s. It’s just off putting for those who don’t have a trained eye, but for those who do can detect, something is fundamentally different about the ghost. Danny does his best to hide his ghostliness but no matter what he just can’t figure out how to move like a regular human.
