Is yugo a proshipper/neutral? Genuine question because they’ve done some… questionable things in the past (shipping frans, using slurs they can’t claim in a comic (the f slur).

I mean I came across a post that said they were pretty chill with someone shipping epic with freaking Xgaster in march of this year and I was like??????? (Dude?? 1. That guy is an alternate version of your abusive father. 2. He’s basically Cross’s father (y’know your canonical best friend?)  who also abused by him. like what????)

And I find it weird that they seem to chill about that, but if you try and bring up epic in any way possible they lose it since they have unbridled hatred towards him and his fans. (bonus points when someone talks about shipping epic and cross, heck shipping epic with anyone male tends to make them annoyed, despite some early art depicting epic FLIRTING WITH METTATON)

I'm pretty sure they wiped Epic and his papyrus out of the comic just so they wouldn't have to deal with them anymore.

At this point i've already blocked them for their hostility towards all things epic/epic being gay/shipping him with xgaster and the whole frans stuff. I mean dude, even comyet is grossed out by anyone trying to ship ink with a gaster or his fathers (who are gasters and aren't even related by blood. Not that it matter tho, it's stil gross).

I don’t know if they are or not, because shipping Frans (or used to) and using f slurs while they actively seem to really really hate any gay ships but is very okay with lesbian ships seems a little strange. Potentially fetishizing perhaps, although maybe they’re just annoyed if they were constantly bombarded with sans x sans questions and stuff.

I don’t know Yugo, haven’t finished reading any of the Epictale content and i haven’t scrolled all through the blog, so I can’t say for sure. Maybe someone with more knowledge on this can chime in.

Although, after reading one of the links you sent me, i think you might’ve misread something.

The asker and yugo didn’t say they shipped Epic x XGaster or were okay with that, they say were okay with Epic Gaster x XGaster. No alternative sons being shipped with alternative fathers, although DILFs (im using this word just because they are both fathers not because i personally want to fuck them 💀) who are the same person are being shipped and yugo at least doesn’t mind or doesn’t care.

I don’t know what their issue is with their own characters and people liking them, but I think yugo probably needs to set some boundaries with fans if they haven’t already.

rather than getting annoyed when people inevitably ship best friends and one of them is their character who they make flirt with men, perhaps they should just ask people to not send them questions about sans x sans ships, or crepic if it really makes them that uncomfortable. and if anyone does, just delete the asks or comments or reblogs.

getting annoyed when people bring up or ask about the characters you made seems pretty strange to me, it’s just a sign that people really like your character enough to be obsessed with them, but i can understand if they got annoyed if epic was all anyone focused on and not any of the other characters. but in that case, they should probably just delete anything they get about epic (from fans) they don’t want to see or answer.

but to allow your emotions and fans like of your character to cause you to change a story, or erase or get rid of the character, just to spite the fans/character or just so you don’t have to deal with them seems very odd to me. perhaps yugo needs to take a step back from the Epictale “fanbase” and stop engaging with it.

they can’t control what fans do with their work and characters as soon as it leaves their own eyesight, and they’d be better off not stressing over it. and fans should respect them, and stop bringing fandom stuff to them like ships or asking their opinions on ships—no one needs a creator’s opinion on a ship.

epic is a different thing, since he’s literally a character in the story, and a sans at that—which of course means people will bring him up and ask about him. if they don’t want to answer anything about epic, they should make that very clear and then don’t answer. Not answer just to give annoyed, passive aggressive replies. I think it’s sad when creators allow a fanbase to taint and affect their feelings about their work.

Setting: the Beaufort twins are staying with the Bells after the mansion drama at the end of season one. (No real spoilers tho dw)

James listened to Kieran Rutherford’s pitch for an Ascot-themed Easter garden party. As outfitters to the King, the Beaufort family attended Ascot every year, and his mother always made every best dressed list.

“And what? We usher in Lexington in a carriage? So many people at Maxton attend Ascot that people would see it for the rip-off it is. You want to ask actual nobility to picnic like the Queen Anne enclosure?” James scoffed.

Rutherford flushed and his shoulders crept up to his ears. “Do… Do you have a better idea?”

The whole room turned to James, who did not, in fact, have a better idea. “I’m saying we can’t imitate something like that. We could keep the dress code and do a standard party - maybe themed with a flower type, hyacinths or something seasonal.” He shrugged, spinning the words out as they came to him.

Silence fell and the tension was thick as James had crushed Rutherford’s hard work a second time. Lin nudged Ruby until she stood up, “Um…” She hugged her notebook to her chest, and suddenly James felt embarrassed; she was clearly uncomfortable because he’d put her in an awkward position, again, without meaning to. He’d just tried to be helpful. “I think you’ve both got good points,” she nodded to herself as an idea formed, “maybe you could work together on this and come back next week with some solid ideas?”

Both boys scowled at her, but she thought it would be good for them to sort out their issues. She smiled and nodded as if they’d just agreed, “Great. Lexington said he’s trying to arrange the keynote speaker so we don’t have the final schedule yet, but they shouldn’t be more than an hour, and if the lunch starts at twelve then we should expect to serve food around one’oh’five.,” she started writing a vague outline on the paper pad, “canapes around six, as it’s a low alcohol event, carriages at nine, latest.”

…

James emailed Rutherford in the car after lacrosse practice:

Hi,

If you send me what you’ve got for the garden party I’ll read it through and email you back with some notes.

Rutherford sent a link to a Pinterest board later that evening. No message, only the link. James opened it and he realised he hadn’t just been an asshole to Ruby but to Rutherford as well. He could see the guy had put some serious effort into this, and that the Ascot theme was only a template rather than a theme.

He opened his email and started typing out an apology - cc’ing Ruby.

“Coward,” Harriet accused him.

James remembered how Ruby had apologised to him on the lacrosse pitch and deleted the draft.

...

"Hey,” he walked up to Rutherford, “can we talk about the garden party?”

Rutherford looked at the ground, “Yeah.”

‘Go on’ Harriet urged James with a glare.

“I apologise for being rude to you at the meeting. You clearly put a lot of work into the project and it was wrong of me to stomp on it like that.”

“Yannow, it always annoys me in those stories when the nice girl picks the hot guy who treats her like shit over the boring guy who really likes her.”

‘Yikes,’ James thought. He hadn’t been expecting that. “You think I treat her like shit?”

“You have.”

James exhaled, ‘yep, deserved that one. Wait, what does he know?’

“But…” Rutherford spoke up again, “I admit I’m blindsided by your apology. I think we can at least try to work together.” He pushed his glasses further up his nose.

James was stunned. He nodded, “Library? Breaktime?” 

“Yeah, I prefer the desk third from the door by the east window. There’s a squirrel drey in the tree right next to it.”

“Third desk from the door by the east window. Got it.”

James glanced at the empty desks near the windows; Rutherford wasn’t here yet. He pulled out his phone and checked the compass app before walking to the eastern side. He sat down at the third from the door and opened up his tablet. He’d made a folder in his sketchbook app last night of different things to go with the theme; invitations, drinks stands, signage, all sorts.

“Did you see the squirrel? It’s a Eurasian red squirrel, pretty rare for around here.”

James looked up as Rutherford sat down and hoped that his disinterest in all things squirrel wasn’t all over his face. “Couldn’t spot it.”

“That branch fork right there,” Rutherford leaned over the table and pointed to a nondescript cluster of twigs.

James nodded, “ahh” and angled his tablet so Rutherford could see it. “I liked the muted colours idea. That was clever. Lydia told me lupins are in season and they come in all sorts of colours, so I thought we could use those as a theme. I sketched an invitation.” He flicked through the app to his ‘sketch’ which had actually taken him ages.

Rutherford took it all in, “That looks really good. Can you mass-produce the invitation?”

“Not by hand, but we could have them printed or send it as an e-invite.”

Rutherford scrunched his nose and shook his head as if James was an amateur, “Paper. Always paper. We send an email to remind them to RSVP anyway, no use clogging their inbox.”

“If you’re okay with it I’ll send a photo to Ruby for her approval?”

“Uh, better on the group chat, the food people might want to put extra details on there and I was thinking about asking Lexington if we could use the conservatory in case it rains. That way we can have a garden or indoor party easily.”

“Good idea.” James added a new plain slide titled, ‘conservatory party rain’.

“And I wondered about an easter egg hunt. If you find an egg, you put your name on it and then you enter it into a raffle. Winner wins champagne or something.”

“Yeah. I can see that working. Where would we get the prize?”

“If you could design a fancy label, maybe we could re-label some champagne or something. Make it one of a kind.”

James nodded. He’d been forced to endure many events with some of these parents; they love the challenge of something they can’t buy. Rumour had it one of them bought a jar of honey for fifteen thousand pounds at a Tory charity gala. “That’ll do it. I’ll get on that. We have some easter eggs at my house from past Easter parties. I’ll ask the housekeeper if we can borrow those.”

Rutherford glanced at his watch, “I’ve gotta go, but it was good chatting with you, Beaufort.”

James stuck out his hand, “James. Thank you for being so decent about all this...” He made a vague gesture with his other hand.

Rutherford shook his hand, “Kieran.”

A few days later:

(Callum is an OC, and Percy (and an SUV) are assigned to chauffeur the Bells and Beauforts around while the twins stay with them. Mortimer sees it as a way of keeping them supervised, but not underfoot.)

James bit back a cringe as he watched Kieran present his and James’ party ideas to Ruby, (the whole committee was present, but he talked to Ruby as if they weren’t) desperate for a ‘good boy’ and a pat on the head or something. Pathetic.

When Ruby stood up, she thanked him ’so much’ for working with James on this, and how wonderful it was to have such ‘a cohesive committee working forward’ - or something like that. James was focussed on the way Rutherford was looking at her, like she was the only thing that mattered in the whole world.

James knew on some level that Kieran Rutherford was somewhat of a decent bloke. Just one with an insane crush on his girlfriend. And it was starting to irritate him.

He felt Harriet pawing at his ankle, “she verbally eviscerated you at Oxford,” she hissed, “keep it to yourself.”

‘Amazing how much you sound like him, like your father’, James realised Ruby was right; that was probably how his father would have dealt with it.

…

When Percy dropped Ruby and the twins back at the Bells, James got out of the back seat and slid into the front passenger seat. Percy regarded him calmly; he always spoke second.

“Percy. Could you give me some advice?”

Percy undid his seatbelt and shifted to fully face James, “Certainly, Sir.”

”There’s a boy on the events committee who clearly fancies Ruby. And, I’m… struggling to watch them interact.”

“You feel jealous when he talks to Ruby?” Percy clarified.

Jealousy sounded childish to James. Straight out of one of those awful romance books Lydia used to read. But, he realised that was exactly it. Jealousy. He nodded.

“What do you need my advice on?” Percy wasn’t sure if James needed any more advice;  sometimes as a kid he just needed help identifying what he was feeling and then he’d work it out himself.

“Last time, with someone else, I lashed out, and…” He didn’t want to admit it, but if he could admit it to anyone, it was Percy, “Ruby said I sounded like dad.” He looked at the textured dials as he held his head in shame.

“Communication is the foundation of any relationship. You each need to communicate your feelings and be vulnerable with each-other. Tell her how you’re feeling, but be mindful that the committee is an obligation to her, and he might be too.”

James reflected on the interactions he’d seen between Ruby and Rutherford. “I’ve never seen her reciprocate. She’s pretty closed off around him.” The more James thought, he realised Percy was probably right. The logical conclusion was that James didn’t have anything to be jealous about, but… ugh, it’s still there. Just a bit.

“Sir, have you officially asked her to be your girlfriend yet?”

James frowned and looked at Percy as if it was a forgone conclusion that she was.

Percy smiled softly. “Ask her.”

James nodded to himself. He could do that. He’d get her flowers too; he’d seen how happy that one rose made her. Angus had too. “Should I ask her father before?”

“Before you marry her, Sir.” Percy was really doing his best not to laugh, but the way James flushed really tested him.

…

James bought some flowers on his way back from his next run with Callum. Angus gave him a knowing look as he crept into the kitchen with the bouquet. 

“These are for Ruby. Where can I hide them while I shower?”

“There’s a vase in that cabinet,” Angus pointed to a cabinet. When James put it down on the counter Angus had a pair of scissors. “Giving a woman flowers like this,” he tugged at the wrapping paper, “is giving her a task. Giving them flowers in a vase means she just has to enjoy them.”

He proceeded to teach James how to cut and arrange flowers in a vase, making sure to add the plant food sachet to the water. “As for hiding them, you can put them in our bedroom for a while with the door closed.”

“Thank you.” He hadn’t even thought about the ‘giving her a task’ bit. Now he knew Ruby would ‘only have to enjoy them’ he was looking forward to asking her even more.

He ran upstairs and placed the vase just inside the doorframe of Helen and Angus’ bedroom before heading to the bathroom.

…

“Ruby”

Ruby and Gunnar both looked up from her manga to see James in her bedroom doorway, hiding something behind his back, it was cute.

All the practice James had definitely not done in the shower left him. He came to stand right next to the bed, stalling for time.

“I haven’t done this before, so I wanted to make sure we’re on the same page.” He saw Ruby’s brows furrow and quickly held the flowers out for her before she got the wrong idea, “Will you be my girlfriend?”

Ruby’s face was frozen in a delightfully surprised, open-mouthed smile, “Yes!” She set the flowers on the bedside table and hugged him tightly. James hooked his chin over her head and breathed in deeply, glad it had gone well. Would have been a bit awkward if it hadn’t. He saw Harriet and Gunnar curling up together on the bed and sighed as the extra feeling of intimacy washed over him.

…

“Ruby, can I ask you something?”

She gave him a look which screamed ‘you just did.’

“Is there, or has there ever been anything between you and Kieran? I’ve seen the way he talks to you, and while I’ve never seen you reciprocate… I just wondered…”

Ruby shook her head easily, “No. Nothing between us, I know he’s got a crush on me but hasn’t made any moves and I’m not interested in him. He’ll get the message, especially with you around.”

James was surprised that that was good enough for him. ‘Guess Percy was spot on on both accounts.’ He thought to himself. Harriet only moved her head in a way that said ‘told you so’.

13) oh 100% agree!! as someone who already isn't super interested in fashion/pop–culture, i find it very hard to look at the men's outfits and be blown away by any of them LOL but the women?? insane. was losing it over lana and zendaya's fits tonight ngl. hunter had me in a chokehold with last year's <3 tangent alright i always say this to my friends but i'm just jealous in general that women have so many more options in terms of clothes like.

okay listen i know i can leave my house in a skirt or crop top or whatever and a lot more guys are def starting to feel comfortable doing so. but i also enjoy not worrying about getting jumped or looked at funny! it's a lot safer than it used to be to do so, even in my small ass conservative town i'll sometimes put on some dangly earrings or a bit of rodrick–liner SJKDG but that doesn't mean it's normalized yet or whatever. point being that i wish it was because men's outfits would be sm more exciting at these fashion events if they had a wider range of options too!

Hanzee is definitely a tricky one to write because of how little we really see into his mind. I have a lot of headcanons about him, and they'd probably get in the way of me having a totally objective opinion, so I hope this doesn't come off as too much of a farfetched answer lol. I think that he's always been kind of a silent ally – he knows what it's like to be mistreated for things he can't change, plus he commits murder for a living, so being queer pales in comparison. So really, if Hanzee did end up falling for another man, the fact that it's another man might not be the thing that suprises him the most. Having devoted his entire life to serving the Gerhardts and seemingly not having had much opportunity to interact with people outside the syndicate (thanks, Dodd) it's probably quite likely that he's never got close enough to anyone to catch feelings at all. Which could be an opportunity to write some very cute "first love" kind of story. It would definitely take A LOT to get it out of him, though, because I feel like he is far too emotionally constipated to admit it.

ok listen. Hello, my name is Sweets and welcome to my little blog in this little corner of tumblr. I'm just a little salty, jaded woman on the Spectrum from the states who enjoys writing/drawing and bitching about everything. Oh, and I'm sorta a fan of Hellaverse. Sorta.

This blog was made for me to share my Hellaverse/Helluva Boss/Hazbin Hotel rewrite(s) I’m working on while also giving me a space to share my thoughts on the show(s) soI don't spam my HB/HH roleplay blogs with critical content. I'm salty af, what can I say.

My Helluva Boss rewrite is called I.M.P: Immediate Murder Professionals and my Hazbin rewrite is called Hazbin Hotel: Redemption Arc (at least until I can think of a better name but I like it as of now). I talk a little about the direction of my stories will take here.

What this blog basically is:

This is all the fault of my friend Nihlis! We both happened to be fans of Hellaverse (and still are in some sense) but have been turned off by the writing focus and decisions made within HB Season Two and found Hazbin Hotel to be a bit 'lackluster' to say the least. You can argue that the writing in the serie(s) as always been hot garbage but I felt HB Season One wasn’t as bad as it is now but going back to S1 also opened our eyes a lot to the problems that plague the series from the start but only now taking full notice of. After plenty angry, salty discussions and a little pushing and honestly a bit of boredom on my part: This blog was formed. 

This blog will be very Hellaverse/Vivziepop Critical, but never to the point of down right spiteful (as I said, I’m a/I was a fan of the show). If just sharing someone thoughts and criticism, even if it’s constructive or/and not to bash Vivziepop as a person but to criticize her as creator turns you off, then this isn’t the place for you. You’re more than welcome to share/send in your own thoughts regardless if it’s positive or negative, along you’re polite and civil about it. I WILL DOWNRIGHT INGORN HATE/ATTACKS/HARSSMENT ON ME, MY FRIENDS, FOLLOWERS OR ANYONE ELSE (including Vivziepop and everyone that worked on the show). This isn’t the place for that!

What I plan for this blog is to share my rewrites/restructuring/redesigns of how I (and/or Nihlis if he wishes to add some of his own thoughts to this blog) would handle/fix/would tell the story with the source material given to us plus adding my own twist on things, big and small.

I also hope to gain feedback for myself so I can grow as a writer and artist as well. Pleased don’t feel shy to share your suggestions or questions about this AU via ask. Heck, don’t feel shy to link to your own designs or AUs I love see them! Maybe we can even bounce ideas off each other!?

While I will be very critical on this blog about my thoughts on Vivizepop’s writing, character design (tho I’m no expert when it comes to that neither) and some of her own actions, I do not hate Vivizie as a person even though I do have some thoughts about her personality. I do not know her in real life, I just consume some of her content and question some of her writing decisions. I will try to articulate my thoughts the best way I can about healing because, barely anyone talks about this. I'm trying my best, I hope you all understand.

When someone has been through trauma, going through addiction (whatever that may be), going through serious mental health issues and people are telling you to heal... That's the issue.

People can tell you till the cows come home, on how much you need to heal, when you, when in fact, you simply don't want too. Or not ready yet. There could be numerous reasons why you don't want to. That's the thing tho, they can tell you how much you need to heal, but it's your choice to go through healing.

Wanting to heal and needing to heal; are two entirely different things.

It's like giving advice about anything really, and it's your choice to take the advice or not.

Healing is a choice. It always has been.

It doesn't matter if you are ready or not.

Healing is always a choice.

No one can force you to heal. No one can do that for you.

You can wake up one day and go "I can't live my life like this anymore, it needs to change". That's the choice you made in that moment.

Or you can go "I can never deal with this. I don't want to face it" (whatever that may be). Again, it's a choice you made in that moment.

People can tell you to heal as much as they want, even sending you to different centers or being sectioned. Even tho it's not your choice to make and you're not happy about it. When you are in danger to yourself or to others, the law states that your loved ones or professionals can put you in the Mental Health act. (Copy and pasted and I will provide a link); The Mental Health Act (the act) sets out when someone can be detained in hospital and treated for a mental health disorder, at times against their wishes. This is sometimes called being 'sectioned'. The act sets out the process for assessment, treatment and protection of people's rights.

More info on the law of the Mental Health act UK, England 🇬🇧. (I know there are more mental health acts around the world to help with your safety and others. I'm posting the UK version because I live here).

I've seen many people come out from being sectioned, me and my granddad and a few friends I met in the homeless shelter (just to name a few). Some came out great, others did not.

I wanted to heal, so I chose to heal. My granddad wanted to get better, so he got better and was on better medication.

My friends on the other hand; some are homeless and refusing help. One guy is homeless and he's blind since he didn't take care of his physical health and mental health because he refused help. Some had a serious psychotic break and can't function like normal anymore, some are dead from over doses, one from suicide (I know suicide is a touchy subject. There are many different reasons for everyone. Me included. I just knew she didn't want to deal with trauma) and a few from accidental suicide (yes there is a difference). All because they didn't want to deal with the things they wanted to deal with. That breaks my heart. I miss them everyday.

I think that's the reality of things that people don't want to face. These people were in their 40s-70s and having serious mental health, unwanted memories and unwanted feelings do catch up. It blew up in their face and this is what happens. It's sad. It's the reality of it.

I think that's the reason why I wanted to heal. So I don't follow their footsteps. I've seen the repercussions of their actions. Again, it breaks my heart.

That's the thing tho, I wanted to heal. Healing was my choice.

In all fairness, I don't think anyone is ready to heal, ready to face the memories and flashbacks. They are scary. It's horrible. I don't sugar coat that and I don't understand why people are sugar coating healing. When that's not the truth.

It's like, why do we have to heal, when other people have hurt us?

This is why I always say, have patience with yourself. Healing takes time and it sometimes can take decades. That's all okay.

I just wanted to talk about this for some time because it's been on my mind for over a year. I just didn't know how to write it down.

I hope I articulate my thoughts the right way. I'm trying my best here. I hope you all understand.

There is not a continuation to it -- originally it was going to be the start of a much longer work, but tbh I am not so great at the long works and it felt 'complete enough' to be a stand alone for fictober. I don't have any intention of writing more in this verse at the moment, but lord knows I've been bit by inspiration at weirder times -- and I was thinking about doing another month of daily fics this month...(Can't be October tho because I'm traveling).

But that's not what you're asking about, so!

Wait, shit, okay first thank you so much for the ask! I really appreciate it and super appreciate the compliments. I love soulmate aus and I love coming up with weird ones and ATLA had just so many soulmate possibilities that I went a little nuts.

Now, to answer your actual questions: at first they don't -- as of the timeline of the fic they haven't actually spoken about it. They both know, and they both know the other knows -- but I think for each of them there's a small belief that maybe, maybe, maybe it's a different water/fire bender. (Neither of them actually thinks this, but they're both young and have doubts). So they don't actually talk about it, they just make sure the other one knows how to handle if someone tries to use the other's powers against them.

And then they go to face Azula, because that's still the path they're on. Only -- and gosh I have like three different ways the Azula fight could go and you know what, here are some options:

Azula sends lightning at Katara, but Zuko doesn't lunge between them -- and Katara redirects it at Azula with one hand and directs a shit ton of water with the other -- and Azula is still twitching from electric shock long enough to get her chained down.

Zuko recognizes that Azula is going to send lighting at Katara and blood bends her so she can't, and then they chain her down.

Azula sends lighting at Katara -- and it doesn't hurt her. Which shocks Azula long enough for Zuko to win the battle and get her chained down.

Some combination of those three options.

Anyways, they win without anyone needing a ton of healing (which kind of makes me sad tbh I love the sacrificial scar, but needs must), and then not thinking about it Zuko takes Katara's hand and they stand there victorious and it's a moment, okay. They have a moment.

They still haven't talked about it tho, because of course they haven't.

But then Aang comes back, and is all "we can be together!" and Katara is just like "oh but I have a soulmate? and it's not you? it's a firebender?" and that's the first time she's actually said it and, well, Aang loves her and wants her to be happy, and so the fact that she says that and then has a panic attack about the fact that she said it means he's more concerned with making sure she's okay then being hurt. And then they talk it out and he's just like "yeah of course it's Zuko" and she's all "it might be!" and he's just like 'bitch please' (except not really b/c it's Aang and that's definitely more Toph).

And then Katara is all 'doubt' and "well he's going to be the firelord so he can't marry me anyways" and that's just her insecurity talking, but Aang thinks maybe Zuko has said something -- so he rushes off to tell Zuko not to be an idiot and he has to accept his soulmate and he's telling Zuko this in front of a bunch of his new advisors who are all heart eyes and THE NEW FIRELORD HAS A SOULMATE THIS IS V. AUSPICIOUS YES THE BEST NEWS EXCELLENT AND SHE'S A BENDER PERFECT and the pr people and ambassadors are crying in gratitude b/c honestly this is like perfect press and is going to make stepping back their, oh you know, crazy conquesting thing a little more reasonable.

And so they get married without having actually talked about it, but it's fine b/c they actually do really like each other, and then they get to have a sups awkward talk that's all "check yes if you like me" and "if I said I liked you would you say you liked me I'm just kidding unless..." on their wedding night and it's v. sweet.

And once they really accept each other into their hearts they do get full access to each other's powers plus some, and holy shit are they stupid powerful.

Flip that Coin theories

I have a bunch of different situations thought for the lore focused on what we saw in Flip that Coin's MV and I'll be putting them all together here as they're not long enough to put in separate posts + I feel it'll be better to connect all in that way.

The points I'll be covering here are:

The coin is a magical artifact

The coin was placed on purpose

Transition between worlds

Possible connection of the virus with LLTK

Heads up that tweets don't have much information compared to this blog, as they were made during comeback era, and some even before the MV release, so now I'm connecting more dots as we have much more information and time to process what we received.

Without further ado, let's start digging into this:

The coin is a magical artifact

I remember that during the countdown for FtC comeback Louis said we should pay atention to the coin.

At first I thought it was because coins have two sides, and that pretty much applies to them in the lore right now. They hinted a lot to this before the release of FtC and also we have been knowing about different worlds since HOK7 albums dropped, with the lore in the final pages.

But as we were given more information, I started to think it had a deeper meaning and that probably the coin we're talking about is magical.

And what does the coin do? Well, is the key to travel between worlds. I could get this answer after we got the MV, seeing how we saw them jumping between worlds after flipping the coin. Louis and Hwon (we will see Hwon's case in the next point) used the coin and seemingly traveled to a different world than the initial one.

We also see Dann stopping Hwon from flipping the coin at the end, which is basically him stopping Hwon from jumping to another world.

And with this I can jump to the next point:

The coin was placed on purpose

At first I thought it was Louis the hooded guy at the start, that drops the coin, but it turned out to be Dann. This still works tho, as my point is that hooded Dann left the coin for the other Dann to find it.

Dann brings the coin to the group and Louis picks it up, as if he knows what to do with it, he then flips it and jumps to another world, finding hooded Louis there.

That coin was probably the way the hooded kings used to get in contact with the other kings.

And for what? That's still not very clear, I can't really say which group is the antagonist here because it can go both ways, especially with that last scene with hooded Dann and regular Mujin.

But both worlds may have a reason to contact each other, thus the coin.

And while we are still in the topic, let's go to the next point:

The transition between worlds

After some time watching the MV I started to think that maybe the underwater scene can represent the transition between worlds after using the coin.

This scene is placed between Hwon flipping the coin in the second chorus and him catching it at the end of the bridge. Is a curious thing to do when the coin is the key/portal between worlds and during this scene we see how both Hwon can see each other, kinda like swapping places in that underwater limbo.

At the start I thought that maybe this underwater scene was something specific for Hwon's character so at first I didn't have this thought, until I discovered they had other kings in mind to do this, in case Hwon couldn't do the scene.

So, knowing they tell us a lot with who does or says what, I came to think that this scene in particular is something general of the world and it will have the same purpose/effect/meaning regardless of the king. And they chose Hwon to represent it here first.

Let's imagine the case Hwon couldn't do the scene, then Ivan was the next one in line to do it, which means that whether is Hwon, Ivan, Mujin or anyone, the scene serves its purpose, and being placed between the flip of the coin, just makes me think that this is the limbo they cross when they travel between worlds with the coin.

These three points are linked by the coin. Now let's jump to the last one that tackles a different matter presented in the MV:

The virus and his connection to a previous installment

At the end of FtC MV we have a short scene of hooded Dann entering a dark, almost empty room, where regular Mujin is sitting in silence in the armchair, watching TV.

We can hear for a moment the TV, giving a news report of a virus that spreads through blood.

What this virus does is not clear as far as I know, but when I saw LLTK MV after discussing lore stuff with a friend, I noticed something in particular:

There´s a short sequence of blood dripping that then changes to DNA.

This is probably the first hint we were given about this virus, why would you put a sequence of blood and DNA? And it makes more sense with FtC's last scene with the news about a virus.

It gives the "zombie apocalypse" vibes, but what if it is in a uncoventional way? Not the typical zombies but immortal people.

We know Louis is immortal, is something they tell us in LLTK, so what if the virus is the cause of immortality? In that case, did Louis bring the virus? Or even deeper, its origin is tied to Louis or is he another victin of said virus?

These are questions that I'm afraid we won't have answers soon, and we will need to wait for them to drop more information in future installments. But I have a feeling that the virus could be related to immortality. What is still a mystery is their full effects, why is it such a concern to be on the news, who brought it and why, what is the purpose of it.
