Headcanon i've had for a while now about how minecraft hack clients could work, similar to the headcanons about how in game chat would work.

Just sort of an explanation with some examples, obviously some hacks are pretty hard to translate into a physical thing, but i tried my best. :)

"Hack Clients" are illegal modifications of a player's attire (i.e. player skin) in order to give them an unfair advantage. The visibility of a "Hack Client" modification depends on the server a player is on. On servers such as 2b2t, these modifications are obviously visible while on stricter servers, such as Hypixel, hackers will try to be more subtle, often hiding modifications underneath clothing.

Eyewear: Modified for use of visual hacks (i.e. x-ray. fullbright, esp, etc.), the easiest to hide from moderators.

Footwear: Modified for use of hacks such as Anti-Knockback, High-jump, and other similar hacks.

Mechanical Braces: Used to allow players to move with otherwise impossible reaction times, most often used for PVP. Completely illegal on most servers, players will attempt to hide them underneath clothing but often fail.

Leg brace: Used for b-hopping.

Arm brace: Used for kill-aura and aimbot.

"Filth," the cloaked man spat. Leaving flecks of blood on the white of the Grand Inquisitor's uniform. This was his town, everyone within it, they belonged to him. "You are nothing but the Empire's dog," he growled, their sabers meeting again in an earth-shattering blow. "They should have culled you with all the others." He sprang backward, putting distance between him and his formidable opponent.

Movement caught his attention from the corner of his eye, and he turned his scarred face slowly in the direction of it. Watching as the Grand Inquisitor's companion helped usher people inside. A mother and a child. The fool haded them her blaster and he grinned. The wind whipped at her hair, pulling the strands in the same way he pulled on the Force. Using it to aid him as he sprang away in the direction of Fox. He might not be able to neutralize his attacker, but he could at least take a life from him. He had tried at the beginning, going for the weaker of the two, but the Grand Inquisitor had met him swiftly blade for blade and his focus had shifted.

Fox, doing her best to keep the innocent town's people from ending up in the crossfire, paused to gather her breath. They should have all been safe now, safe from the Jedi who had held them captive, had controlled them--and she had thought the Empire was bad. She had faith that Cal could handle himself, that he would be able to disbatch their target quickly--it was why her focus was elsewhere.

Turning at the buzz of a saber, she reacted on instinct, ducking and rolling as the Jedi swung his saber in a move that was surely meant to take her head. She scrambled up, grabbing for a secondary gun at her ankle, trying to get closer to the protection the Grand Inquisitor could offer. There was a pull at her ankle, a sensation like a hand wrapping around the bone, forcefully pulling until she was falling, mouth full of dirt. Then the dragging as their target began to howl.

"Cal!" She never called him by his name, although she knew it. This was perhaps the first--and the last-- time it would ever surface on her lips.
