bnd - i didn't stan them when they first debuted cuz for some reason i always try to stop stanning groups knowing im an addict smh. i also like to give groups a bit to Marinate before i stan so i held off! then in like august last year i started getting funnextdoor tik toks abt leehan and his fishtank and i decided i wanted to watch it for funsies cuz leehan was sooo pretty and so cute so i was curious and uh... yeah that was my first mistake 😭 i full on thought leehan was gonna be my bias but then taesan walked in and snatched me up and bnd is just so addictive i just had to stan. i stuck with bnd because they genuinely make me so happy, they're so fun and they remind me of all the best things about kpop, like i just love them so bad 😖😖 but i officially started stanning them the week after but sometimes came out cuz that song had me hooked 😭 omg i just remembered that their videos kept coming up on my youtube too like the universe was trying to get me to stan since like july 😭

riize - i didn't even attempt to not stan them actually 😭 sungtaro were my nct biases when they debuted so i really really wanted to support them on their new endeavors so i already had plans to at least become acquainted with riize but siren had me MOVINGGGGG 😭😭😭 like i haddd to get in on that like i was Hooked. i couldn't even give them the time to marinate cuz of sungtaro so i just hopped right in 😞 and then my sister started biasing wonbin QUICK and i started biasing anton for like a week and then seunghan collected me 😖 and riize gives me heavy nostalgia so like idk i just love them a lot

&team - i've been supporting them since debut bc enha are one of my ults and ive been familiar with kei since then (i didn't watch iland i just knew abt kei and was familiar with some of the other boys names) and i was so obsessed with under the skin but i didn't end up fully stanning them for a while. i started to learn their names just so i'd know who they were when i see them around and things like that. i didn't start to stan them more until like july last year when i watched more of their content and then i fell off again until like october i think and they quickly became one of my top groups cuz they're so fun idk

ok so this is something i ALWAYS #think about whenever i listen to breakup songs, and esp after that blurb u wrote about billy blindsiding the reader with that scathing song.

but what do u think about the dynamic between billy and a shy!reader, or someone who hates being in the limelight. Like they met when the band was somewhat popular and the attention she got for being billy’s “girl” was tolerable.

they’re still in a situationship, and they still argue a lot, but I’m just thinking about the potential angst of billy writing the most insane breakup songs about her, and shes just crying bc all of their business is being aired out 😭 PLEASE i can imagine him being such an ass about it lowkey, he’d be like “what? i thought you wanted to be treated like your special. None of the other groupies have songs written abt them😁” SIR???

She understands that it’s the price you pay for being with an artist, but he can get so mean with it, esp if its a song like regret me. But 1. He’s billy dunne, so ofc she comes back. 2. Sometimes he tries to “make it up” by writing a (very vague) love song that may/may not win her back.

something you can not teach a performer is joy. and not that on camera persona LA hiphop or tiktokkers get before they do three eight counts I mean someone who is having the absolute time of their life every time they step onto a stage. every time they pick up a mic. every time their performance track starts playing. no cameras no bullshit: they are on stage and their fans are there watching them and they could not be any more excited to perform. that’s jeongguk.

NOW!!!! pair that with his natural athleticism, body control, strength, and ear for music? holy shit sjdnwkdn let me go over those briefly just for a sec. jeongguk is just one of those people who is naturally athletic. like yes he’s good at a lot of things bc he’s also v inquisitive n clever n possesses innate musical talents but when it comes to dance or like run bts games: it’s his athleticism. that’s why if u compare debut era choreo to now u can see how much he’s improved bc THEN he (and his body) were kind of just like omg look what we can do (and like?? kind of in a survival way??? we all know the debut story I don’t need to explain). but NOW!!!!! and SO VISIBLY!!!!!! over the years he’s learned to harness all those natural things he possesses. his body control is insane. his core and arm and leg strength are integral to the way he finishes through movement. and I shouldn’t have to tell u that people who can hear and understand music are going to be innately better at placing their bodies to the beauty of said music. his musicality is a bit crazy to me tbh as someone who didn’t come in as a dancer

he’s also just crazy charismatic on stage. i think it’s (probably) a bit biased of me but i believe jeongguk on stage. i believe he’s having fun. i believe the facials he’s making and the crowd work he’s doing and the improv he’s doing comes from that sheer joy he’s experiencing. /that/ makes him fun to watch. u can’t teach that!!!!!!!!!!!

tldr u can be athletic and have a decent handle on musicality and be conventionally attractive but if u don’t make me believe how fun the choreo is ur doing and ur having to rely on silly gimmicks then ur a mediocre dancer to me sorry. jeongguk is one of the best (and underrated) true dancers in the industry because he’s athletic and has an ear for music and knows how to control his body BUT ESPECIALLY!!!! because he absolutely adores his job and being on stage and presenting the best performance possible. <3

quite a bit i think. i tend to draw big canvases with upwards of 100 layers of Anything(tm) so about 20% actually sees the light of day 🧍… i’m shy

it’s ok i love opinion sharing 🧘‍♀️ this is HARD cuz i mean . smth smth art is subjective . i think all artists are dedicated to their craft and how/what they draw. smth not for Me works for Someone and that’s why art is awesum. besides i don’t tend to follow artists if i didn’t enjoy their work in some capacity LOL so u can have my opinion on a style: i’m not into anime realism

like i have respect and love for the artists. i empathize w them cuz this genre is ai art’s greatest victim. it’s very… art meant for easy consumption? “beautiful” and nothing else evocative? nothing challenging to the audience. a near perfect contemporary style for people who are afraid of art. easy to steal, clearly. it’s uninteresting to me to see a piece of art and only call it beautiful and be unable to dissect why beyond technical skill 🧍..

but also being technically well done is Not a bad thing. i do think these works are made skillfully. stylized realism presents unique challenges, and it’s awesome when ppl can figure it out for themselves. i’m not gonna name names cuz no one specific comes to mind but well u could just type realistic anime girl into google or whatever and you’ll get the idea 🫡

30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated

MAN normally i’d say i wish my ocs got attention. and i do. i love making my webcomics and talking abt my ocs and drawing them!! but it’s ok cuz well i know i love my ocs soooo. it’s ok

i’m gonna say this piece!! i don’t often do this type of work even though it’s a style i love working in. i was worried my intention wouldn’t come across very clear (heartbroken americana, i’ve been calling it) and i just don’t think i have the audience for this. it’s a little too vulnerable and too idealistic in discussing usamerican patriotism turning commodification into religious iconography… the higher powers of pop culture and the watering down of social identity by what we understand thru film lenses versus being oneself in their community… is this all buzzword talk. is the only way we can engage in greater issues is when someone can fictionalize it and create a safe barrier of reality disconnect. is it meaningful to create art about this when i myself am begging and needing my pain and grief to be understood through that same barrier. god was a 2 dollar cheeseburger before inflation

revenge note 1 (girl gets bullied and suddenly gets an app on her phone that allows her to take revenge on others, all the while she's dealing with having a crush on her friend) = v cute & hs!au . its actually really fun & harmless and the revenge isn't bad BAD yk, eunwoo from astro plays in it too!! i watched this one in like 2017 when i didn't even know what kdrama or kpop was so yeah 😋 revenge note part 2 is fun too but ik i haven't finished it for wtv reason (i don't remember it was years ago 😭) - viki rakuten + 12 ep / 30 to 35 min each
