Rick RIordan's writing has powers over me.

Ever since the sixth grade, Riordan books always travel me back to where they are. He makes a 500-600 page book feel as if I was actually with them the entire days / months they were there.

I swear I cried while reading The Sun and The Star, and yes because of how beautifully written it was, but mostly because I felt that ecstasy again.

While reading The Sun and The Star it only took me a day at most; but I felt my old sixth grade self watching the growth of the characters I have seen grow by my side.

The feeling of knowing that even if two wars have passed, many prophecies had been given, and even other mythologies being with the original casts always have my heart.

So whatever anyone says about TSATS can literally go shove their ass on a car to Superhell. This book was so important due to the fact homophobia is on the rise. This isn't the only gay book of Rick, fake peoples.

I like listening to butt hurt people complain about BG3 winning GOTY because their arguments are always:

1. "The game is a buggy mess "

2. "Never heard of it"

3. "No one even played that game"

Knowing very well that NONE of these arguments hold up. Larian is one of the most attentive game companies I've ever seen -- constant updates, listening to fans requests, constantly adding and changing features in the game to fit people's play styles better.

The way that men are weird and misogynistic about Fiona and Cake will never fail to bother me. On one hand, we have the adventure time incels who crap on the Fionna and Cake episodes and comics,saying that they ruined the show and refusing to watch the new show, which is their loss, and then there are the pornsick freaks who only choose to see Fionna and Cake as fodder for their tiny dicks. What I think most people don’t understand about Amphibia is that, yes it is a love story. Is just not the kind of love you’re expecting. 

Attetion that this is just my opinion, I’m not trying to tell you how to watch your shows.

Most of the fandom were going into Amphibia hoping to see the ships between Anne, Marcy and Sasha cannon, because they were “craving” a love story that was never needed to being with. And it’s okay if you ship those character (I don’t but that’s me) but you can’t say the show is bad because the ship weren’t cannon when the show was never about them. And yes, it was a love story.

A love story about a human girl and her best friend/brother frog. Not a romantic love, but a love as pure, as powerful, as true. Anne and Sprig loved each other as a sister would love her brother, and vise-versa. They help each other grow, becoming the best version of themselves (and grow is the whole theme of the show). Sprig would die for Anne and his family, and Anne did die for Sprig, and the people she loved. 

It was loved that moved the show. Hop Pop letting a stranger into his home, and later his family, calling her his adopted granddaughter, Anne following on Plantar’s traditions so important to Hop Pop. Polly accepting helping the stranger out of candy, but latter calling her her moral compass, Anne letting Polly know that the person you are is the perfect person you can be and you don’t need to change that. Anne always helping Wartwood the best she can, to latter have a entire town holding her back. 

When you loved people you would do anything for them. And Anne loved her frog family and give up everything for them. And just because one day, a little boy found her in the woods and give her a roof, food, but most importantly, a true friend. A friend that loved her, and help her, even if at first it didn’t seem like it. Your friends will tell you you look great. A best friend will tell you that if you go out like that you would look ridiculous so go change. It may hurt and seem unfair, but their are just trying to protect you, because they love you, even is it hurts you. A true friend isn’t afraid to tell you the truth, even if its painful, because it will help you grow. And Sprig did that. If he knew that what Anne was doing was wrong, he wouldn’t hesitated to tell her. Anne would mostly ignore him, but she would have learn her lesson by the end of the day.

Amphibia will stay as one of my favorite TV shows ever, tight there with Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb, and The Owl House. And with all the love this show had, this might as well be one of my favorite love stories (Lumity is a different type of love, I tought we talk about this!)
