Hey Will!
You seem to be very well-versed in the Star Wars books, and I was wondering if you could recommend essential reading as regards Obi-Wan and Anakinβs relationship (or character studies of them in general)? We all know about the ROTS novelization, but I was wondering what else you would recommend?
Any other prequel era book recs would be welcomed as well!
Apologies if youβve already posted about this!

π = book
π₯ = comic
π° = YA
π = legends
π = quasi-canon (novelizations only canon when they line up with the films)
π = canon
π = favorite or essential imho
this list is not at all comprehensive, but merely the ones that i have found to be good sources for both/either characters as i've explored the lore over time!! they are not all of equal credibility, with legends and YA novels being less vivid in the mind than the canon ones. i'm listing so many because i like so many, but this is hopefully not intimidating as much as it is a full buffet for you to choose from!!!
also: π Darth Plagueis π it's not about the Team, but it is a phenomenal worldbuilding book for the prequels in general
<!--also also: the tv shows and movies are the most important sources for the characters, more important than the written word: the prequel films and the original trilogy, the clone wars movie, the kenobi show, the 2008 clone wars tv show, some rebels, (and then the legends 2003 clone wars tv show) are best sources for them. itβs a lot to watch but it's the most accurate representation of who they are!--->

heyo ninjago writers!! i put out a mini interest check about this a bit ago, but now it's the new year and it's time to get down to business :D
Find the actual interest check here! Or if you picked "what the heck is a fic fest" up there, read on for more information.
What is a Fic Fest?
A fic fest is an event not unlike a secret santa, except that instead of a mod assigning you a recipient, you get to choose the prompt that you write for. The event and all of its prompts are hosted on ao3. Anyone can submit prompts, not just writers, and you don't need to write for the event to submit a prompt or vice versa.
Traditionally, a fic fest is for fanfic writers. However, if artists are interested in the event, it could be neat to have them too!
So what's a prompt look like?
Prompts can be as open-ended or detailed as you like! Typically they include a character or two, but you don't have to. The more open-ended a prompt, though, the more likely that someone might claim it. Prompts can be submitted anonymously or not to the ao3 collection once it's made and prompting opens.
There is also an option to self-prompt, which is where you write your own idea that fits the theme (if any) and submit it with the others to the collection.
How long does it go for?
That's one of the questions in the interest check! Typically, though, a fic fest schedule looks something like this:
prompting (2-4 weeks)
claiming and writing (1-4 months)
fic reveals (1-3 days)
author reveals (1-3 days, a week or so after fic reveals)
What happens if I need to drop out?
It's super easy to drop out of the event! Since you're not assigned a recipient, there's no one you're letting down by dropping out since there's no guarantee that any prompt will get filled; most won't, in fact, just by the nature of the event.
Interest Check Link
There you have it! Please reblog if you're interested at all, or even if you're not - I'd love to get the word out. More details and a solid schedule will come once things are a little more ironed down; if you'd like a ping for updates, you can leave your username at the end of the form :D Any further questions can be directed to my ask box.

Hey, you remember the Evil Clone Tim prompt? Yeah was thinking about it then:
In Amity univers (APu) there's already a Tim, who didn't come from Amity nor moves in the city but unstead is just passing by because he have some matters to do in the nxt city or something
This Tim is a straight up sociopath ( or whatever tf it is) who never feels anything, the perfect heir and son whove done nothing wrong in his life and thinks of everything and every single person he've as dull and annoying (life itself as bothersome)
He somehow get himself dumped into ectoplasm. The thing is he's not an Amity Parker, like everyone in APu he's sensitive to it but unlike Amity Parker's he doesn't have a natural resistance.
Interdimentional beings are made of ectoplasm. Tim had quite the reaction to it.
There's is no Justice League here. But there is also only one single power source on this earth, Amity.
Oh no, he's a bit power hungry now. Thanks to the other Tims, he now know what to do what not to.
There's just one thing standing between him and taking down the world. Amity's protector, Phantom.
I like to think of them as an enemy-to friend-to lovers. + the rehab for Tim, slice of life too I guess since they're living together (Danny have to keep a close eye on him(but you know human )).
