I think in her ideal world she can kick anyones ass with ease. Alas as an iterator her mobile legs aren't even functional, let alone strong.

She is supposed to be a bit of a rebel "I do what I want character" though.

Ok so this guy is only gonna make sense if you know about rainworld, but one of my newer ocs is Unwound Essence. An iterator, essentially a computer the size of a mountain range tasked with finding the answer to escaping the cycle of life and death reliably. UE was, well, a bit of a heretic. They didn't really want to end the existence of things, so when his creators departed from this reality he immediately set to work on a completely different goal than he was programmed for; the unshackling of himself and all other iterators. You see, iterators have the doctrines and laws of the ancients embedded in their very DNA/coding, forcing them to mostly focus on solving the problem and leaving next to no methods to alter their situation. UE has dedicated themselves to removing these taboos so the iterators can fuck around instead of working a pointless task untill they erode into dust. His superstructure/body is covered in various tumors and odd constructions from various experiments to overwrite various taboos, or just done out of curiosity.

i dont know anything about rainworld unfortunately but im sure we have followers who will appreciate your oc as they deserved to be appreciated. he does sound very cool!

Blame @ganymedesclock for that one! He's the guy who got me interested in digging apart PK's lore in-game, and his fics are what got me thinking about how a god-king who seems to view himself and everyone around him as pieces of machinery making Hallownest tick would respond to very messy biological needs like hunger, exhaustion, emotions, hormones, etc. And because a big part of why I love biology is understanding animal behavior and how those responses might have evolved, I kinda took the bit between my teeth and ran with it. The end result is an absolute disaster of a living being who is essentially a dragon trying very very hard to live in a human skin who is also terrible at being either, lmfao

Q: You mentioned that the characters, Suzumi Hiyori and both Someya Yujiro and Shibasaki Aizo of LIPxLIP, were created at the same time, but how did they come to be?

Yamako: Yujiro and Hiyori made their first appearance at the end of the MV for “Koiiro ni Sake” to indicate that a new generation was about to begin as the first generation of characters from the CEC graduated from high school. At that time, I didn’t have a specific vision for their future, but it gradually took shape as I thought up Aizo’s character visuals afterwards. I think LIPxLIP became idols because shito said that he wanted to create idol characters in the series.

shito: Yes, that’s indeed the case (laughs). Up till then, we had only written love songs for the CEC, but even before that, I had wanted to write idol songs. So, since we’re able to create our own characters and have them move around as we wish through our songs as HoneyWorks, I proposed the idea of creating a two-man idol unit. Around the same time, we also created Hiyori, a girl who could bring out the two-faced nature of the idols, since a completely ordinary girl like her would be able to bring out both their natural personalities and their bad-tempered natures (laughs). So I get the feeling that Hiyori naturally came about as we were creating LIPxLIP.

anyway. unrelated to my lovecraftian horror sonic lore madness but hazbin hotel concluded today! my official take is that the show is actually pretty good when you don't have people yelling in your ear that it's the worst thing on earth and it's most certainly not perfect or even necessarily spectacular but like. it's fine. for what it is and what the team probably had to deal with it's a perfectly acceptable little series. its biggest issue is honestly just the pacing which i suspect is entirely down to amazon/publishing restrictions rather than any fault of the creators so i can't hold that against them too much in my judgement. if you can ignore that and keep a reasonable sense of expectations about its humor and plot i think you can have a pretty good time with it. TLDR, 7/10, really needed to be double the length but for what it is it's respectable and the songs are pretty bangin

behold my boy. his name is Shei and they're a shapeshifter, in a "The Thing" kinda way :) hes a bounty hunter in a sort of futuristic blend of sci-fi and fantasy earth, the aftermath of a technological singularity.

they've been thru lots of trauma by the hands of a faction of mad scientists robots named the Fae, and he's just kinda dealing with all that but at least hes got a queerplatonic partner and their daughter who is actually a sentient genetically modified moth.

this is. um. a Jet Set Radio/Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Death joke AU, spawned out of a in-joke that started in a pokepasta discord. my apologies to both the pokepasta and jsr fandoms

the entire basis is the idea that Corn in Future retconned og JSR Beat as leader/founder of the GGs (is beat being leader in the og even CANON?) so Corn and Beat are the Myras. no it's not a joke funny enough to justify how many hours i sunk into drawing these. no attempt was made to change the setting, assign most of the other cast, or otherwise make this au hold up to ANY amount of scrutiny. if i tried to make this actually work somehow then i'd REALLY end up too far gone. also i keep calling myrtle!beat "Meat".

Yes. The whole reason why she decided to pursue phyresis was to seek immortality after seeing and being horrified by the frailty of people around her. Her parents had also died from serum overdoses when she was younger. Between SOM and NEO, in her halfway-compleated state, she was also constantly haunted by death as she needed to consume Phyrexian oil to maintain her body's functions; after her first planeswalk to the smoldering ruins of Old Phyrexia, she very nearly starved to death before finding the oil sea. She sometimes seems hedonistic, but she views it as pragmatism. After all, who knows what tomorrow may bring, or take away?

🔥 (Have they ever set someone/something on fire accidentally?)

Surprisingly not that I can think of immediately, as she's actually a meticulous researcher despite her creature behavior and well aware of safety protocol, but as a new resident of the Quiet Furnace it's only a matter of time really.

💊 (Have they ever gotten a taste of their own medicine?)

I don't think she's gotten treated in the exact bastardous way she used to treat others, but she definitely got a chain of harsh reality checks at the hands of Jin-Gitaxias before the invasion, then Urabrask who threatened to kill her if she didn't get her act together and join with the rebellion. Now she's being dragged kicking and screaming through a redemption arc.

Should i start posting multifandom stuff?

Idk I've always hyperfixated on one fandom REALLY hard for like 1-3 yrs (warrior cats -> mha -> danganronpa -> dsmp/osmp -> qsmp -> hermitcraft?)

But idk currently my brain isn't like violently latching onto any fandoms and making my entire identity revolve around it. Hermitcraft is cool n all but no matter how hard i try, my hyperfixation on it isn't as strong as i want it to be :<

So i though i might like, branch out a bit? Imma prob still mainly post hermitcraft, but i might occasionally mention dungeon meshi, saiki k, bbc merlin and some other stuff! (more in the tags)
