Digimon Adventure{s} (Series)/[02] ~ (Closet!) Cosplay ~ (Post-02!)Koushiro[u] Izumi {Aesthetic[s]} / Detail shots {January 2k23} (I don't have a full-size plush of partner yet so I usually consider this Koushiro to be late-final-year of middle school Koushiro, or a Koushiro who enters high school and has a jacket in similar color / style as previously {I intended to cosplay Koushiro pre-Tri as well}.)

In my fic-verse, Koushiro has such a jacket in the darker green color; maybe different color tie and pants because the school location changes (I used "Odaiba High" at the time writing my old fic-verse). There, Koushiro was already in 2nd~ year of high school and Taichi was in the 3rd~ year about to graduate (by J.P.N school system schedule); the original fic follows them all through University years. In my fic-verse the green may also be slightly more "muted" to distinguish it, I haven't fully decided yet; but this jacket still looks pretty bright if sunlight hits it, despite it being dark emerald green) featuring (Me) / @izzyizumi Also in the original fic; The Digital Gate had, similar to Tri, since closed briefly; travel functioned a little closer to 02 still, when they could only see their partners briefly at times via Gate-hopping (until a lead-in to pre-epilogue era had them all "meeting" again under various circumstances). So the Koushiro I cosplay is one who's supposed to be a little distant from having seen partner 'Mon in a while and is feeling the effect of it. (They typically still communicated via brief e-mail messages when possible / when the Gate allowed contact, but it was different.) Fortunately Taichi usually comes in more and they start hanging out. {Wig was bought from & styled by a previous Koushiro cosplayer!} - The jacket for Koushiro's (02) "school!" uniform is actually closet cosplay jacket found in a regular department store sometime just before 2k15! Finding it in this exact shade / color was amazing, I'm not quite sure I'll ever find much close in the future!! (As it's from around 2k15, it's a little old, but holding up!) - Gold Laptop is my own! (in use since about 8~ years ago, aka also around 2k15!) {I bought it less for the cosplay [it was sometime before the pre-Tri fan base revival, actually; I was still actively following the series and Koushiro-relevant fan base things on this blog and in my own time] and mainly because color, price + condition was seriously good for 200+ GB of storage space at the time.} {The yellow laptop Koushiro canonically uses has never really been produced in the right "full" size (Yet?!?), so this was a "next best thing" until I can get a shell replacement or the like similar to the canonical yellow-and-white laptop!}

Espimon, blushing: D-Don't call me CUTE!!! Steve: (Oh) Steve: ... You sound a bit like someone else I know. Espimon: ??? ??? ? ??--- Steve: I bet you don't know Koushiro, though. Espimon: Che. I bet that "Koushiro" doesn't like to be called "cute", either. Steve: (You'd be surprised.) Espimon: (...?? ? ?) Steve: (Oh) Espimon: Anyway, I don't really know this "Koushiro" person, but fake-Hiro might. Steve, actually confused for once: "Fake Hiro"?? ? ? Espimon: Yeah. "That guy", Hokuto told me Hiro was a "different" person he knew. Even if Hiro claims to also be "Amanokawa". Steve: ...Sorry, not sure I follow. I don't really know a "Hiro" or "Amanokawa", but Koushiro might. Espimon: cHE. I don't think "Koushiro" would know "fake-Hiro". "Fake-Hiro" is just, a fake. Koushiro at least sounds /somewhat/ more useful. But at least "Fake-Hiro" has some good food... Steve: (Ah. I get it now) Steve: Do you know what an online "message" is? Espimon: Of course. [AMV] DAZE by Hikari

This is a re-post (for AO3) of an A.M.V. I made some years back. Koushiro Izumi and Taichi Yagami are both the featured characters; Adventure Chosen appear only briefly. This series of A.M.V.s is an AU spinning off from various canon points up until the Epilogue. "My hope is in this secret WISH..." Multiple significant plot "events" are lightly implied; please heed the tags! (However, the song has a "cool" mood.) Song featured: "DAZE", by Jin, from the Kagerou Project series. (This work is not a 1:1 direct parody of characters/storyline there, but very inspired!)

The style is one in which starters are the characters talking to their "mun" or players, which is common when "voice-testing" a character to possibly app {apply} into a future {typically pan-fandom, or cross-canon across multiple fan-bases} DWrp {Dreamwidth.org} rp game. Games usually have their own settings, styles and rules and you should carefully consider them before applying to any. (I eventually ended up applying for Koushiro at a DigiAdv{s}-centric game that ended up eventually dying...)

I whited out a few parts to give the former Tai-mun a bit of privacy, but to my knowledge I haven't seen them as active since. Hopefully they won't mind me posting just one old thread between us, because it was really really fun to try back then! Even playing Koushiro was still really fun, despite it being for a very short timeframe of a couple years + even if I never found an active Taichi player {+in a close in age range} to me since.

This was BEFORE Tri had fully aired or before Kokuhaku was even announced, so Koushiro has a small mix of icons I'm using, but sometimes I switch between "canon-points" of early Adventure!Koushiro or late, OWG era or post-02 but pre-epilogue!Koushiro. Tri!Koushiro wasn't even animated more animatedly yet (and much later had very limited appearance in Saikai, etc.), so I was mainly relying on my head-canons for a Koushiro that appears between 2002 and the epilogue, but I often imagined Koushiro of those ages still sticking very close to both 02 and Tri looks. {I did like Tri giving Koushiro back slightly spikier hair, because that was how I imagined Koushiro during in-between years too.} Muns could later go back and update some icons, so some default icons may later change as well. {That's how a Tri!Taichi icon shows here even though it's 2k12}

Also, its very fun because you can personalize your responses even using things like subject headers way better than on this kind of site, and sometimes muns leave you really fun and kind messages that make you want to cry so you try to show them appreciation in turn!!!
