For Autism Awareness Month {April in U.S.+World} {Autistic!Koushiro Headcanon} + Jewish-American Heritage Month {May in U.S.}

-A.U. {Alternate Universe} where Koushiro and Steve have notably more {visible to "Viewer"/"Reader"}; One-on-one interaction between "Our War Game" (and most {eventual} International Chosen discovering "The Network" and Koushiro's involvements in helping + observing it + keep the Inter-national Chosen connected) and "The Beginning";

-In "The Beginning", as the U.S. Chosen are gathered, while it's not outright stated, it's not unreasonable to assume they were keeping an eye on Network updates made by Miyako earlier on to the Network, also often related via Koushiro, {+related by 02 Chosen}. (The pattern in my A.U.s overall likely goes, Koushiro -> Miyako + 02 Chosen {+Iori}; then, 02 Chosen -> back to Koushiro when involving 02 team's extended efforts, who actively helps analyze any info they send, then shares it + any theorizing to the Network)

-In this A.U., Steve, who as a Jew doesn't particularly 'enjoy' being kept in the 'dark' about Whats Happening to the Self when it's impacting Steve's {religious} (+daily) life, ends up reaching out to Koushiro earlier on to try and get to know the Chosen in Odaiba better, and also show solidarity with Koushiro's group's efforts. In the end, it's likely because of Koushiro's extended earlier efforts, as well as getting to know the U.S. Chosen better in Steve's own time, that Steve succeeds in remaining semi-active as a main member of the U . S. Chosen, and semi-active in acting as support that can easily be called upon, like most International Chosen.

-Koushiro and Steve in this A.U. share a friendship and communication style that TRANSCENDS what most may think of as "friendship" or "good" styles of ""communication"" - both know (Steve especially also knowing thanks to own culture) that no matter how far apart they are, they can always rely on each other to be there when needed (or wanted), even if it's difficult to "physically" meet up in off-line life.

-As stated in this scene, Steve wasn't necessarily first 'Chosen' in 1991, or at least not 'exactly' in the same timeframe as Michael. (I also headcanon Steve being some months older than Michael, who I consider to be around the same age/Japanese school year as Koushiro and Mimi, so Steve would possibly be on the older end of year, for the most part, if not born the same year/timeframe as Taichi, just Chosen a little later.)

Meanwhile with Steve & Frigimon {of series: D i g i m o n 02} #TheBeginningSpoilers

Frigimon (Yukidarumon); Steve calls it "Frigimon" when at home: So, "That" one says they made us - or more like, 'you' - a Chosen to "befriend" "that other one"... Steve, low laughing under breath: "It" may have "said" that, but it's definitely wrong. Frigimon: Oh? You seem to have a strong feeling about this... (but it's expected of my partner). Steve, voice returning to normal 'cheery' tone: The thing it doesn't know is that I initially messaged Koushiro of my own volition. Frigimon: But it claims it 'made' you all do that... Steve: And again, it's definitely wrong... because it also doesn't know - or even understand why - how Koushiro initially reacted to me, much less the others in our group. Frigimon: Oh?? (Curious) (Tell Me More, Steve) Steve, swivelling around in chair: Koushiro rambled and info-dumped about different types of systems and coding for a solid ten or so messages back-and-forth before I finally clued Koushiro in more deliberately that I knew about "you all". STEVE: AND, at the start, Koushiro was hesitant to actually talk more to us about it all, even though we made it clear we all mostly knew since "that battle". Frigimon: But Koushiro came around because you were persistent? Steve, laughing: It's not so much "persistence" as "something that naturally fell into place" once I got more of a 'feel' of what Koushiro was like. Koushiro sounds extremely analytical on the 'Net, but apparently is also super formal in person, just in ...different ways. Frigimon: So, you're saying you didn't "pursue" Koushiro but couldn't the "naturally falling into place" still mean-- Steve, shaking head: No, not that either. Steve: Because I also initially wasn't sure if Koushiro actually wanted to be my "friend". Frigimon: ... Steve, clasping hands: Even if it could do everything that 'new' Chosen said, it doesn't understand that these aren't things you can "force". And even if it could, I wouldn't acknowledge it, because it's not a part of my culture... So it's not relevant to me. Frigimon, hmmng: The other monsters "like that" must really dislike us, then. Steve, quirking eyebrow with a grin: "Us"? Frigimon: Well, I don't like those notions, either. I can't really imagine myself being partnered to anyone not you, nor for any other "reason". Steve: ... Steve, quietly: {Thanks.} Frigimon: ... (After all, it is us.)

Daisuke -> Hikari: I didn't catch off the top of my {memory} (I'm pretty sure it's still 'Hikari-chan') but Daisuke's DEFINITELY NOT using 'Yagami' for Hikari in any fashion whatsoever, so it's NOT Downgraded.

Hikari -> Takeru: Still 'Takeru-kun'

Ken -> Daisuke: "DAISUKE{!!!}" {UPGRADE}

Ken -> Miyako: "Miyako-san" Miyako -> Ken: "Ichijouji" (was it -kun or -san??) Either way, it's definitely "Ichijouji", and I didn't hear/see a "Ken-kun" from Miyako the whole thing.

(I seem to remember a conversation on how Meiko -> Taichi went from "Taichi-san" to "Yagami-kun" and everyone took that as a negative...) {Just saying...} Personally I still think that was the completely wrong way to take it but What Do I Know 02 Chosen -> Koushiro: "Koushiro-san" - Koushiro's not referred to as "Izumi" or "Izumi-san" or "Izumi-senpai" the whole thing. I'm pretty sure Miyako uses 'Koushiro-san' too.

Also the one thing keeping me from refunding the ticket besides Koushiros limited screentime moment is the fact my mutual told me they saw a character that looked like Steve (not sure about his Frigimon yet but??) towards the end, but I'm not even sure thats enough to appease my anger at this rate (At the least I'm really glad to know if Steve finally has an adult design because am I sure using the likely 0.001 seconds clip after all of this *and I might even make a crack Steve->Koushiro edit if I can manage to throw something together, I just need an idea first) {Even if its NOT Steve I'll likely use whoever it is as a crack stand-in design anyway since apparently looks close enough lmao}

OK, so, I'm Still Not Saying MUCH {For Now} (Because I still haven't seen the FULL thing myself and I WON'T be able to myself until Nov. 9th. No, I don't have access to other showings)

But I did read W.T.W's review.

a.) I'm glad it clarified on timeline placement {a previous review full of rants about """ret-conning""" mixed up the year with a MUCH later one and didn't even see the irony}

b) The """new lore""" (NEWLY ADDITIONAL Lore) is actually HILARIOUS to me in regards to Repeatverse timeline{s} because:

c) in COFTFFVerse {a.k.a my verse for early forms of O.C.s} (if we include it adjacent to Repeatverse): {Note most of this lore I came up with PRE-TRI HAPPENING}: - Shane's partner just might end up being {IMPORTANT} - One O.C. Digi of mine {ALSO} is thematically related to HaShem (if in slightly differing contexts... But will Elaborate later) - Thus, {canon Digi} 'accidentally' {THANKS T0EI!!!!} has cross-fan lore connections to HASHEM - HaShem-esque was 'CANON COMPLIANTLY' accidentally BROUGHT INTO the overall timeline of the A.U.s verse* - I originally had these ideas {before T0ei's additional lore} when I was like 7~8 YEARS OLD - I have been cracking up about this since reading W.T.W's review not long after it was posted (and I was STILL late seeing it) - Today Has Been A DAY (In General) {along with the last 48~72 hours in general and the past week or so when it came to initial 'reviews' that obviously left out some important details and info that W.T.W's clarified} * I probably won't be including "The Beginning" lore in the overall 'verses later on, but I can definitely mess with it in future A.U.s ** If I did include it it'd be in intended "The Beginning" semi canon compliant stuff mainly, just to say (in advance) *** I do NOT plan on posting new works (of mine) that'd involve "The Beginning" {YET} because in the case of the A.M.V.s, I need FOOTAGE for those, which I WON'T HAVE until "The Beginning" footage is released outside of theaters, so you won't have to worry about spoilers for anything T0ei hasn't OFFICIALLY revealed {Img sets are another story but I still don't think I'll be posting any (that don't use previously released official footages) until later Nov.~Dec.!} **** If you clicked on this expecting a full length review, sorry, but I'm probably not giving further thoughts until much later on (I heard from the DigiNavi stream and W.T.W bit earlier on that there were also C.D. dramas included from theater showings? and I'm curious about those contents too for any further story clarifications, but yeah!!!)

Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning {New very first seen "The Beginning' stills were being added to the official DM_Partners account + site!} (Sept. 21 2023, around 6:21 P.M. J.S.T) ~ Daisuke Motomiya

(Mini-analysis under the 'read more'!)

This was the very first time we had seen this particular shot of Daisuke.

In this shot, Daisuke clearly and proudly holds one of the new styled "Digivice"-equipped phones made & produced by Izumi Corporation, the company canonically owned and managed and run by Koushirou Izumi, who acts as President, sometime post 2005 within the Adventures timeline. As of the Kizuna tie-in novels, Koushiro had seemingly "just" gotten the company up and running, and within Kizuna, the Chosen Children group, including Taichi's team and Koushirou's own self, began actively using the phone models. "Digivice" appears to work on these phones, which the Chosen use to open Digital Gates and portals within the Real World, even without the aid of a computer or Koushirou's laptop nearby. (The actual Digivice, meanwhile, seemed unuseable. Taichi hid "Digivice" deep within Taichi's desk drawer, until the plot forced Taichi to acknowledge and pull it out again; Daisuke seemed to do similar with own blue "D3", which can be seen during the opening scenes and later moment.

When the phone device shuts off, "Izumi Corporation"'s logo can be seen in Kizuna on Taichi's phone. Though we do not see it within "The Beginning", it can be assumed Daisuke's phone shuts off in the same style.

At the end of the film, though it is implied "something" is happening to "Digivice" and "D3", the actual phone models they also have now, which were produced by Koushirou, and; which are separate devices, do not appear to change or vanish.

In promotional material released after the film's release, the Chosen still appear to hold the phone models.

Which version are you seeing? It depends if I can even make it to the showing, but I'm NOT seeing the U.S. dub version tomorrow, and instead would be seeing the sub on the 9th IF AND ONLY IF it actually works out reminder I am Disabled and sometimes get chronic pain flareups, so we'll see what happens on the day of.

Are you planning to review it? Probably not. I'm not the type to make full-on reviews... If anything I will likely just reblog related stuff, and even that may not happen for a couple weeks still, as I have to build the blog queue back up. I almost have half a mind by now to refund my ticket{s} me and someone bought but its already the day before and I'm not sure I can. At the least my theater here might be pretty empty, so we'll see. It's not necessarily that I don't want to see it on a personal level (I very much do), but I'm going to be honest about my overall opinion once it's out.

Can I ask you your opinion on something {to do with the series}? As long as you understand I am not open to full-on "debating" about it (OR the typical timeline debates; or U.S. dub-vs-sub semantics) and as long as my opinion can be generally respected, catch me when my Ask box is open. Asks here should generally be kept specific to this fan base and this fan base only. {Also, more specifically, Adventure{s}-related franchise as a whole. Yes, I know 'Adventures' is not an official title and I do not need to be told that, it's for tags organization and clarifications' sake when I talk about the whole franchise.} (Just clearing this up now in case, since I'm not sure what the state of things is going to look like after tomorrow.)
