Taichi, a little nervous: I know, but--- Koushiro: And ... with no offense meant - but /I/ was under the impression /we/ are /both/ managing this relationship /quite well/. Taichi: Koushiro: After all, regardless of such things, Taichi-san, you /know/ you are allowed to ... inquire in regards to my 'available' time, /any/ time, right? The very first time Koushiro Izumi began to understand about the concept of "dresses", -- he was about three years old. All he could really remember was, watching , (with unblinking, pure black eyes) as his MOTHER , in her flowing-yet-simple dress , -- bustled about the household. ( -- lulled him to sleep , singing a lullaby ... as he laid his cheek against the soft fabric. ) * His father , in comparison , -- he wore -- much "stuffier" looking "clothing"

( for “ Work ” ) -- they looked ... tight and , Uncomfortable. Koushiro remembers only feeling perturbed by such "clothes". * When he is old enough to enter elementary school , Koushiro Izumi meets ----- * -- Takenouchi Sora. A headstrong , " tomboyish "

-- girl , -- she didn't wear dresses. -- Ever .

( -- At the time. ) * Koushiro wonders. * Could he ever wear a "dress" someday , like how Sora confidently wore "boy clothing" ? * ... He shelves the thoughts away. * For a while. * -- a pink dress -- too pink * Almost blinding. * ... For a while . * But ... * { ????????? } Koushiro stares up at it -- in a kind of wonder A woman’s Wedding attire * " Hey , Taichi-san ... ? " * ( " I want to wear it. this dumb series of Digimon Adventure AMVs I’ve been working on / yelling over at times for ... over a year now ?

you all following purely for ships are gonna hATE ME, PROBABLY { i mean I kind of implied this before BUT if you didn’t catch it } ( and also: this has been true. since. the very 1st AMV I ever did for it )

... it’s base is like 99.9999% ADVENTURES/02/TRI CANON COMPLIANCY.

Sure, things like Homeostasis vs Koushiro are definitely not from the canon and come from my own ideas, I admit to that - these events are mainly “ spinoff verses ” that diverge from particular points

But the base is canon, while changing as little as humanly possible. [ the few things I do change at times ( and not always / in every ‘verse ) are - not keeping all sexualities purely 100% Cisgendered Cisheterosexual Straight-identifying, and allowing alternative canon-compliant headcanons to exist ( including numerous variations of these ) + - allowing some alternatively neurodivergent!headcanons to exist, in similar ways [ i.e. Autistic ! KOUSHIRO ] - updating a few of the careers just slightly enough that they’re extremely similar, but not quite 100% exact to the original. i.e. SORA, MIYAKO, KEN particularly ]

... But the base is canon.

The basic premise / idea [& start of the spinoff ‘verses] involves an Original Adventure!Koushiro ( pre epilogue aged ) who basically accidentally screws up the CANON timeline { it’s not completely his fault, that is, but } in his attempt to save it during a “ final battle ”. At first, He does his absolute best to save things while following along the mindset of “ if you interfere with TIME , it’s OVER ” [ i.e. common trope in sci-fi fiction involving timeline shenanigans ] ... but as time goes on and more timelines happen regardless [ y E A H ]

Imaginaton Forest AMV kind of briefly touches upon this with its ending { they actually make it to aN ENDING ?!??? } [ m a y b e ]

Summertime Record AMV is basically the OG!Koushiro (+ later Koushiros) in events where he reaches a “ good end ” ? for himself + in spinoff instances, maybe possibly via alternative timelines, too (OG!Taichi eventually reaches this via similar means too)

Kaien Panzermast x Brave Heart AMV - hELLO I MEAN isn’t that 02 ending right there ?!?? { ok it DOES involve spinoff ‘verses too here but }

but if you go back to the “Imagination Forest” amv well, there is that trolley ... ... ... { oHWAIT , isn’t that the original Adventure ending ----- }

if you watched any of these / followed my fanworks at all ? + regardless of my own AMV manipulations + additonal added 'verses + regardless of my own spinoff headcanons, ship headcanons etc. + regardless of my OTPs yelling and other favs

the base is canon. You were following a series near 100% with a BASE IN CANON COMPLIANCY regardless of my blatantly non canon ship spinoff ‘verses

Notes: - it’s not quite a Bad End but it’s not exactly the best outcome either - I originally got ideas from the initial previews for Bokura no Mirai - obviously none of those happened - if it’s not obvious enough, Koushiro is basically writing a quick program to warp and Rewrite the Digital Worlds’ coding. He moves so fast/swiftly because he’s already been through numerous timelines by this point, and is either a) subconsciously aware or b) not subconsciously, but hyper-aware {depending on which ‘verse/spinoff scenarios this scene Repeats within} - thus yeah these are psuedo-deaths [non permanent]; they don’t literally die {at least Koushiro himself definitely doesn’t in this scene} - look I’m sorry but if Koushiro fell from such a height, at such a speed, into the kind of place like Taichi fell into {it’s uh kind of replaced with maybe a certain Dark Cave here except 02-style; see: Chapter 11, City}, he’d be banged up too - Koushiro may be skilled by this point but he can’t stop everything - Koushiros’ true aim is to solve the {alternative/timeline splits?} mystery that they’ve possibly got thrown into, so he has a ways to go still; along the way, he’s coming to terms mentally with his own situation while bearing the weight of it all - this bit attempts to explain the canonical timeline gap between Spring 2003 [02 drama CD] ~ April 2005 [Tri start; Saikai] - I really miss my old website / 02 fic and really just want to write Daisuke {02 fav} helping Koushiro during a high stakes moment and them both acknowledging each other[s’/strengths] in turn - I meant to post this a long time ago but {well} Yup

Just Digimon Repeatverse Things (The Nth)

Me, As I plan/storyboard for one of the next Digimon Repeatverse AMVs: It's gonna have GIRLS yelling about BEING "THE HEROINES" and it's TRUE!!! 1st portion is Mimi, 2nd portion is Hikari, interlude and final portions will have ~MYSTERIOUS~ ~~SURPRISE!!!~~ CHARACTER YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO GUESS (I Mean Well Who Else Still Relevant Hasn't Had A Longer Moment To Shine Yet?) and GIRL BONDING. The OTP will still be scattered in between because this ficverse was SUPPOSED to be primarily about them, and tbh it very much /still is/, but the girls are RIGHTFULLY HAVING THEIR TIME IN THE SPOTLIGHT.
