BTS Reaction: You begin to worry and question if he still loves you.
Info: He starts distancing himself and you feel it, you ask him if he still loves you as it feels like he doesnât.
OT7 & Female!Reader
JIN
It had been a long day for you, you were running up and down flights of stairs all day as you dragged your luggage into your new apartment that you had recently asked your long term boyfriend, Seokjin to move in to with you. But you'd noticed he'd been acting differently recently, more distant that usual...You were used to his long hours in the studio or for his practices but this was different, this wasn't like Jin at all. When he comes home he barely says a passing word to you nowadays, he's silent. He eats food, grabs a bottle of water before he's up the stairs and in bed leaving you to wash up and by the time you go to join him in bed, he has his back turned to your side of the bed and is already asleep.
Today you decided enough was enough, for the past week you've been thinking all the possible things that you could've done wrong for him to push you away. Did you forget to laugh at one of his dad jokes? Did you accidentally get too close to Jungkook that time you hugged him last week because he was upset that his vocals weren't good enough? Did you forget to appreciate one of his homes cooked meals? Did you take the banter and laughter with the boys too far for his liking?
The what ifs and all the questioning finally got to you, you were tired of questioning if it was your fault so you decided one one more possibly outcome that it could me, maybe he just didn't love you anymore? You tired pushing that thought out of your brain but it only came back, and the more you thought about it, the more that one seemed to make more sense than the others.
Jin soon arrived back home from practice, a little earlier than usual tonight meaning you hadn't yet had time to cook due to all the thinking. Your eyes darted to the front door as it was pushed open, "I didn't think you'd be back for a while. I haven't even cooked dinner yet." You said with a half-hearted smile. "Practice finished earlier today so I decided to come home early, it's okay y/n I'll cook tonight." He smiled cheerily before dropping his duffel bag by the door and heading into the kitchen. You watched him go before leaning your head back on the back of the sofa and letting out a quiet sigh, how would you bring this up to him? That's something you still hadn't figured out but you needed to say something tonight or you never would.
You soon heard Jin calling your name from the kitchen, "Y/N?!" He called. You were still zoned out, trying to think of ways you could bring this up to him. "Jagi!" He called again. You knew he was calling, you could hear his words but you couldn't react. "JAGIYAAAA!" He screamed this time, making you jump and pulling you from your thoughts. "Yeah?" You shouted through to him. "Food is ready." He replied and you could hear the happiness in his voice.
You rose to your feet and headed into the kitchen, there you saw a neatly laid out table with freshly cooked Kimchi being served by your very own waiter. He poured you a glass of wine before sitting across from you as you took your seat, "Enjoy." He smiled at you before digging into his own food hungrily. You watched him eat, your eyes scanning his... You weren't hungry, well... You were but you needed to know the truth before you even thought about food and you were beginning to feel a nervous kinda of nausea build up in the pit of your stomach as you thought about how to word your question.
Jin soon shifted in his seat, his eyes watching you as you studied him eating. "Y/n, what's wrong?" He asked. The lump in your throat grew bigger, you promised yourself you wouldn't cry but you couldn't help it, you swallowed back the oncoming tears and tried to gulp down the lump before opening your mouth. Your words coming out frantic and worried, not as you had planned, six words, six words that made Jin drop the fork full of food he was holding and stare over at you in shock. "Do you still love me, Jin?" Is what you asked.
You feared the answer and you wanted to avert your gaze from his shocked expression but you couldn't, you needed to see the look on his face as he told you no, you truly believed that's what his answer would be... Until his mouth finally opened, taking a long sip of wine before he rose to his feet and walked around the table, heading straight to you.
"Why would you ask such a thing, Jagi?" He asked as he crouched down in front of your seat as if you were an upset child. At this unexpected response you couldn't stop the tears from falling, "I just... I don't know. You've been so distant with me lately. Late nights practising, early morning leaving, long studio sessions... I know you're busy and I know this is your job but it was never like this Jin, you used to always make time for us. You barely say two words to me when you do come home and when you do reply to my questions, all I get in response are grunts. I get you're tired but I wanna communicate with you, Jinnie. I wanna know about your day despite how bad it is. I just...." You were suddenly at a loss for words. "I just want my boyfriend back." You cried hysterically.
"Y/N, I love you. I love you so much. And you're right, I have been spending a lot of time away, I'm sorry. We just need to rehearse a lot more because of the tour that's coming up, but I will make more time for you, more time for us." He explained to you as he kissed away your falling tears. His eyes soon lit up, "How about we go on a date... Tomorrow?" He asked. "And I would love it if you'd come to rehearsals with me." He smiled his big goofy Jin smile at you. You couldn't help but giggle, "I would love that, Jin." You smiled before pressing a light peck to his lips.
His eyes fluttered close for a millisecond until you pulled away only to see his pouting, he leaned up and pressed his lips against yours before hugging you tightly. "I will never stop loving you." He whispered to you as he held you. "I'm glad to hear that." You smiled. "Shall we go back to enjoying our meals?" He asked with a small smile. "Yes." You nodded with a smile. He rose to his feet and sat back in his seat, you watched him go just glad that you now knew that he wasn't going anywhere.
YOONGI
When you and Yoongi started dating, you never thought that two years later you'd barely see him, let alone get a look in to have a small lunch with him. Every time you suggest it, he tells you he is busy. When you suggest a film and cuddles on the couch after his hard day at the studio and your long day at the office, its always a half-assed reply and he always falls asleep two minutes into the movie as if he wasn't interested in it in the first place.
You didn't know what was going on but you wanted to find out. No, you NEEDED to find out. It all started a month ago, the tour was happening soon and you knew it, but you thought he'd still try and spend a bit of time with you. Even you going to the studio to surprise him seemed to annoy him, he'd tell you that you shouldn't have gone there and that he was working, you'd tell him that you were just trying to do something nice but he wouldn't seem to care. He'd just usher you out before getting back to work.
There was once a time when he'd take you to his studio himself, he'd graciously show you off, let everyone know you were his. He'd hold you in his arms, kiss you no matter who was around, nuzzle his face into your neck as you sat in his lap during studio sessions, wouldn't get mad when you'd distract him from his work because of the simple fact he'd been working so long.
But now, now it was like he'd disappeared. He pushed you aside. On the off occasion you did show up to the studio and he let you stay, he'd get mad if you so much as made a simple squeak, he'd get stressed if you tried to distract him. It got to a point where you just stopped hoping for your old Yoongi to return. Instead of taking his lunch to his studio, you would pack it the night before and leave it in the fridge for him to take with him when he left in the morning, leaving a note on the fridge before bed each night that his lunch was inside.
About two weeks ago, it got to the point where you'd started going to bed before he even waltzed in through the door, sometimes he'd even sleep at the studio and wouldn't return unless one of the other members pried him away from his beloved desk.
You decided that you wanted answers, your heart was aching for you to be held in your boyfriends arms once again. You needed him.
On a quiet day at the office, you finally had time to think over the last month. Blaming yourself for his sudden distancing, you knew the tour was a big deal to him and the others but even they went home at a reasonable hour, even they didn't overdo it.
Was it really you? Could it really have been something you did? You worked and worked your brain about everything that'd happened the past month, nothing you did could've caused this. This couldn't have been your fault. "Maybe he just doesn't love me anymore..." You thought to yourself. No, that couldn't be it... Could it?
But the more you thought, the more you realised that that was the most probable conclusion, Â why else would he suddenly distance himself from you?
You went home that night, thinking about everything when suddenly that thought came back into your brain. What if he had fallen out of love with you? What would happen then? You needed Yoongi like you needed oxygen, you wouldn't survive without him.
You arrived home, the house was empty. You kicked off your shoes and packed Yoongi his lunch for the next day before grabbing a sandwich yourself and heading into your bedroom for a nap, knowing that you wouldn't sleep tonight. You pulled on a comfy tank top and a pair of fabric shorts before tying your hair up on the top of your head and laying down, finally closing your eyes and letting sleep take over you.
A few hours later you felt the other side of the bed go down, Yoongi was home. You laid with your back to him and your arm clutched under one pillow, not wanting him to know you were awake at this hour. You heard him kick off his shoes before laying down beside you and grabbing his side of the covers, and shifting into a comfortable position.
You stared over at the covered windows, waiting for the hours to pass as you thought about Yoongi. Would he really admit it if he had stopped loving you? Yoongi was a truthful man so you knew in your heart that he would tell you the truth despite how much it pained him for you to know.
As the sun began rising, you checked the time. It was almost 6am, which meant that Yoongi's alarm would be going off any minute. Luckily, you had a day off today. Usually having a day off would make you happy but you were currently anything but that. You soon pushed yourself to sit up, your back against the headrest, waiting for that usual alarm tone to pull your boyfriend from his sleep.
Soon enough, it went off. Producing only a soft ringing sound to which he leaned over and slapped his hand on top of it to shut it up before realising that he in fact wasn't leaning over your body to shut off the alarm but was leaning over your legs instead. He sleepily raised one of his hands to run through his hair before turning to you, "Y/N, what's wrong? How long have you been awake?" He asked sleepily as he sunk back into his pillow. Wanting some more shut eye, "About five hours." You shrugged. "Yoongi, I need to talk to you." You mumbled as you nervously played with your fingers. He hummed in response, still sleepy and you had to admit that he looked adorable whilst tired, especially with his morning hair.
You soon averted your gaze, gulping down the lump in your throat and trying to keep yourself from letting any tears fall as you asked the one question that you dreaded knowing the answer to. "Yoongi?" You began. Once again, he hummed in response, still half asleep. "Do you still love me?" You asked. His eyes shot open, your unexpected question waking him right up. "What?!" He asked in shock. "Do you st-" You began to repeat the question. "No, no, I know what you said Jagi... I'm just wondering why you'd ask something so stupendous." He was almost scowling by this point, shocked that you dared even ask such a thing. You turned your head away from him as he pushed himself to sit up, your eyes staring down at your fidgeting fingers.
You gulped down another lump in your throat and turned to your boyfriend, "I... I just feel so pushed out by you right now. I know this tour is important to you, I know you feel like everything has to be perfect but it already is Yoongi. The other boys wouldn't leave at such a decent time if they thought it wasn't good enough. Ever since you found out that another tour was coming up, you've shut me out. I never see you anymore, we haven't been on a date in months, we haven't so much as hugged each other in weeks. I know you're busy, god don't I know it but why does that mean I have to be pushed out? Why does that mean I have to be at the back of the queue? But most importantly Yoongi, why does that mean that I can't be there to take care of you because I know you're working way too hard." You said. Not even realising that you were crying until Yoongi stared at you in shock before lifting his hands and wiping away your fallen tears.
"I had no idea I was making you feel this way. I'm so sorry jagiya." He sighed. "If I knew, if I realised." He added. "How could you realise Yoongi, all you do now is sleep, studio and repeat. You've no time to even so much as acknowledge anything else." You shrugged before throwing your legs over the side of the bed and beginning to climb out. However, someone caught your arm, stopping you from leaving. "How about we change that today?" He asked. "What do you mean?" You questioned in confusion. "I'll cancel the studio today and it's your day off right?" He asked. You nodded before opening your mouth, "Yoongi, you don't have to. I know how much this tour means to you, I understand that you have to put it first." You sighed. He closed his eyes, "No, y/n. I don't have to put it first, not anymore. You were right, the album, the songs; They're as good as they're gonna get. It's time I spent some time with my angel before I have to really leave." He smiled before leaning over to kiss you deeply.
"But one more thing..." He began as he pulled away. "Please don't ever think I'm going to leave you again, Jagi. That could never happen." He reassured you. You sat back on the bed and hugged him tightly, "I love you Yoongi." You sighed in relief. "I love you too, y/n." He replied as he held you before pulling you back into bed and wrapping you into his arms. "But before we do anything, we need a few more hours of sleep... For the sake of my sanity." He chuckled. You nodded with no hesitation whatsoever, lord knows you needed sleep too. You settled back into bed, in the arms of your loving boyfriend, getting a few more hours of sleep in before a day full of loving and caring for one another... Something you hadn't felt in weeks.
HOSEOK
When you and Hoseok began dating you thought it would've been easy, boy were you wrong. You knew he was a busy man, you knew dating him meant that there'd be a lot of days when he wasn't there but what you never thought would happen was that even when he was there, he wasn't actually there. When he was with you and was supposed to be enjoying time with you, he wouldn't be in the conversation, his mind would still be on his work. Looking through videos of his dance routines, finding any kind of fault he could.
At one point you even took his phone from him and asked him to stop criticising himself, this only angered him into thinking that you weren't interested in his work, which wasn't the case at all. You just wanted him to stop putting himself down. However, that one act stopped him from showing you his dance videos ever again. You didn't mind that but what you did mind was that he'd still watch them in front of you and say things such as "Yah, this could've gone better." Or "Oh no, I messed up this move."
It annoyed you so much because not only were you always amazed by his dancing but also because this was your time with him which meant that your time together was being used for work. This annoyed you profusely.
One night it got to a point where you'd had enough, you grabbed his phone and placed your hand under his chin; forcing him to face you. "Hoseok, listen to me... I know you want this to be perfect but please just stop it. Stop putting yourself down, stop using OUR time together to criticise your work. I'm tired of it, these nights are supposed to be for us. Not for self criticism. We barely spend time together as it is, why now when we finally get the chance are you using it for work?" You asked seriously. "I'm just trying to do my job, y/n." He replied.
You rolled your eyes as you stared at your boyfriend, "Then why in the name of hell do we have date nights?!" You snapped suddenly. "Why do we bother when all you end up doing is working, what's the point in this Hoseok. We may as well just not spend time together at all because Lord knows that's what it constantly feels like anyway." You added before standing up and walking away. You walked out into the hall, leaning against the wall with a sigh, you did love Hoseok but why did he have to act this way during your time together.
You shook off your thoughts before he had time to follow you and walked out of the front door, you began walking down to the nearest park and sat on a bench to collect your thoughts. Did he really dislike spending time with you that much that he decided to work on your time together? Why did he never want to spend time with you anymore? Was it because of your movie choices? Or was it simply because he didn't love you anymore?
That thought struck out to you the most, maybe he had fallen out of love with you. A few tears fell down your face at the thought, you'd never thought about it like that before.
You soon felt someone sit on the bench beside you, you quickly wiped your eyes and turned to the stranger... Only to realise it was Hoseok. "You were right, I was being a jerk. I'm sorry." He spoke as he turned to stare at you. "Wait, are you crying?" He questioned. "No..." You spoke, your voice hoarse from the tears. "I just..." You began with a sigh as you realised that your boyfriend didn't believe a word you were saying. "Do you even still love me?" You asked as you stared at him. He laughed, almost manically. You stared at him, one eyebrow cocked as you waited for him to realise you were serious, he soon calmed himself down, "Of course I do. Jagiya, how could you ask such a silly question?" He asked, still half amused. "I just feel like you don't want to spend time with me anymore, you're always working during our time together. We always planned our time so that it wouldn't interfere with your working time or your time with the boys, but that clearly hasn't worked out and I just feel so pushed out right now that I don't know what to think, Hobi." You sighed before running your hand over your face, realising how desperate you sounded.
Hoseok smiled before gently grabbing your hands, "I'm sorry I've been pushing you out. You're right, I have been working during our time together and neglecting you. I apologise for that. I'm sorry, but I will always and forever love you y/n-ah. You're my princess, I couldn't imagine my life without you. I promise that from now on I will leave my work stuff for work and all my attention will be on you and our activities during our time together." He reassured you. You smiled appreciatively at your boyfriend before pulling him into a huge hug, "I love you, Hobi." You spoke. "I love you too, jagi." Â He smiled at you. "Now let's go home and finish that movie we left playing, yeah?" He asked. You nodded as he intertwined his fingers with yours and you let him guide you back to your home.
NAMJOON
When Namjoon started spending more time at the studio than with you, you began to worry that he was overworking himself but he'd come home every night with a kiss and a hug especially for you before falling asleep on your shoulder, his breath warming the crook of your neck.
So you thought he was okay, until he started staying nights at the studio. You tried going to see him, making sure he was okay but he'd tell you he was working and he'd tell you he was fine. He'd put you in a cab and send you back home, clearly not wanting to be disturbed from his work. So you skulked around your shared apartment looking for ways to fill out the rest of your days as you finished working from home.
But those times were just filled with hurt and sadness... And thoughts. At first it was just thoughts of ways you could do your work better but then your thoughts drifted on to your loneliness, why were you lonely? Why didn't Namjoon want to spend time with you anymore? Why did he spend all day at the studio? You knew he had Yoongi's help but you also knew that even Yoongi left at a reasonable time whereas Namjoon wouldn't even end up walking back through your front door until almost three in the morning, even after being at the studio since nine in the morning.
"I'm just losing it. Overthinking." You told yourself. "What if he's cheating on you?" Your conscience asked. "What if he's not interested in you anymore?" This thought caused you to go and stare at yourself in the mirror, checking if you really were still good enough for him. You knew he didn't care about your looks but you did care about your looks and you were always worried about him leaving you due to them. He's told you numerous of times how beautiful you are and you still receive a quick peck when he leaves for work on the morning but nothing more, you barely even have the chance to register what's going on because you're always still half asleep.
Today you decided that it was enough, that you'd had enough of all the questioning. You were now totally convinced that he'd lost feelings for you, so you sat on the couch, on your thirteenth cup of coffee so that you'd be awake when he arrived home and stared over at the show that was on the movie channel on your TV screen. You waited and you waited, checking the clock from time to time to see what time it was. When it reached 2:30AM you heard the keys rattling in the door, you glanced back; waiting for him to walk in and placed your cup on the coffee table in front of you.
He barely noticed you were sat there until he caught sight of the television, his brows furrowed as he walked into the living room where you were sitting. "Y/N?" He questioned. You stared at him. "Yes?" You asked. "What are you still doing awake?" He asked you. "I've been thinking Namjoon..." You began. "About what, jagi?" He asked. "About us..." You replied. His eyes widened, "Are you going to break up with me?" He questioned. "That depends on your answer to one question I'm going to ask you." You said. Fear struck in his eyes for a small second before he nodded and sat beside you on the couch; turning off the TV in the process.
"What's wrong Jagiya?" He asked you. "Do you still love me?" You asked. He furrowed his brows, slightly confused by your sudden question. "Of course I do! Why would you ask such a ridiculous thing?" He asked you. "You've been distancing yourself Joonie, spending nights at the studio even though you've spent all day there. I know you're the leader and I know your job is important to you but I thought I was too. And I'm not trying to say that you should put me first, not at all. I just wish you'd spend time with me to. I never see you anymore because you're out of the door at eight and you don't come back until about two in the morning. I don't feel like I have a boyfriend Namjoon, I feel like you're a lodger. We never speak anymore, we never hug, never kiss... Never get intimate. Nothing. I feel so pushed out." You let your feelings out. Namjoon pressed his tongue against his cheek as he thought about your words, he knew you were right. He had been overexerting himself at work.
He let out a long sigh, "I do still love you, y/n. I spend long hours at the studio to perfect my verses, I've been struggling recently." He sighed. "Then let me come with you sometimes, that way at least we'd still be spending time together, like we used to." You said. He nodded to your words, "Okay, okay. I will. I'm so sorry you've been feeling so pushed out, you're my world, my princess and I just want you to be happy. I'll cut back on the overworking and when I do go to the studio on your days off then you can come with, you might actually give me the confidence I need whilst I am there." He smiled lightly. "I love you so much though, jagiya. Please never doubt my love for you again." He said. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. I love you too." You replied as he took your hand in his, turned the light off and began leading you up the stairs so you both could get some much needed rest. As you walked to the bedroom he began telling you about his plans for you both tomorrow, how he would take you to the studio but you would only spend half a day there because then he was going to take you for a cute romantic walk in the park before a candle lit picnic on the roof of the studio building. Safe to say, you couldn't wait to get it all done.
JIMIN
When Jimin told the boys he was dating a waitress a chorus of laughter filled the room, not because of the profession you'd chosen but because of the fact that they'd be able to get freebies when visiting the cafe in which you worked, however when you told them it didn't work like that you received a chorus of disinterested mutters until you told them they'd get a discount but it wouldn't be totally free, smiles spread across each members face except one... Jimin's.
When you proceeded to ask him why he chuckled and said it was nothing, just something stupid. When you pressed on the subject he finally told you that we was worried that now you'd distant yourself from him to spend more time with your newfound friends, you laughed it off; promising him that it'd never happen. Things went back to normal after that, he was his happy self again, no more moping around. He was just glad that the boys liked you.
Until two weeks ago, something happened that suddenly changed Jimin's mood. You weren't sure what but it made him do what he feared you would do, it made him start spending more time with the boys than he did with you and it wasn't even just for dance practice or studio sessions, he'd just hang out with them, stay over at their places without letting you know until right before he was going to bed. Today wasn't any different, Jimin still left before you even woke, he simply left a lousy note on the table... Which you had just about had enough of receiving, you walked out from your shared bedroom, once again waking up to an empty bed.
Jimin's shirt was hanging loosely off of your shoulder, as your hand reached up to brush your hair from your face that you'd forgotten to tie up last night. You then grabbed a cup and began making your usual morning coffee before settling on to the sofa. That was when you saw the note. You yawned before leaning over to grab it off of the coffee table, recognising the familiar hand writing of your boyfriend, Jimin.
Dear y/n,
It's my day off today so the boys and I have decided to go to a concert, one of the artists that inspired me most to take up music is playing in Korea tonight and the boys have asked me if I'd like to go with them, I said yes. Don't wait up
Love, Jimin x
You scrunched the note up into a ball in your hand before gulping down the last drop of your coffee, getting up and heading back towards the bedroom where you got dressed, pulling on the first outfit you could get your hands on; A pair of jeans and a white tank top. You pulled a baseball hat on to cover your unwashed hair before grabbing your phone and keys and leaving the apartment. You were going to find Jimin and you were going to find out why he never wanted to spend time with you anymore.
You checked his local coffee shop first, he wasn't there. You continued your search, after checking the park, the ice rink and even the studio you were almost out of ideas until you realised that there was one place you hadn't checked. Namjoon's house. You got back in your car and put it into gear before beginning to set off to Namjoon's house.
You parked in the driveway of his house before climbing out of the car and walking up to the front door where you knocked loudly, three times. If this had to be done in front of his friends then so be it. It was getting done.
Namjoon answered the door and was clearly shocked to see you but pulled you in for a hug regardless, he was your friend after all so of course you hugged back. "Is Jimin here?" You asked curiously. "Yeah, what's up? You look annoyed?" Namjoon asked. "I need to ask him a couple of things, that's all." You replied. Namjoon nodded, realising that this was a topic between you and your boyfriend as he allowed you to enter inside his home. You smiled appreciatively as you walked in and found Jimin laughing in the living room with the other boys, the sight made you almost turn on your heel and tell yourself it could wait but it couldn't wait and you knew it. You shook off that thought and headed towards your boyfriend.
"Jimin, we need to talk." You sighed. "About what?" He asked. You raised an eyebrow and headed into the kitchen, knowing that would make him follow you in there. You leant against the huge dining table as your boyfriend entered, "Have I done something to you?" You asked. "What?! Why would you think that?" He questioned. "Because you haven't been the same with me since I hugged Namjoon two weeks ago... What's wrong? Did I get too close? Did I seem like I was trying to make a move on him? What did I do that was so bad to make you stop treating me like your girlfriend?" You questioned. His words caught in his throat, he had been a little jealous when you greeted Namjoon with a hug, he knew you guys had been getting close recently but he also knew that you were just good friends.
You stared at him, watching his face crinkle in thought as he tried to think of a reply but couldn't, "Or do you simply just not love me anymore?" You finally asked. His eyes widened, tears began trickling down his face, how could you think so low of him. "How could you even think that, y/n? I've been madly in love with you for as long as I can remember, why would I suddenly stop loving you now?" He asked. "You never spend time with me anymore, when you first introduced me to the boys you were scared that I'd start spending more time with them than I do with you but then you go and do that yourself. Why? I just don't understand why? What did I do?" You asked, pleadingly. "Nothing, you did nothing. It was my stupid jealousy. I'm sorry." He mumbled through the tears.
"Jimin, I'm tired of waking up in the morning to an empty bed, I'm tired of finding a note on the table telling me not to wait up for you to return, I'm tired of not being able to see you because you've made plans with the boys and for some reason can't include me." You sighed. "I just... I guess I just want my caring boyfriend back. The one that included me in plans, the one that held my hand in the street, the one who hugged and kissed me every chance he got, but most importantly the one who made me feel so loved and so much like a princess." You added. Jimin let a sigh escape his lips as you continued, "If that Jimin has gone then I'm sorry but I can't stay in a relationship like this Jimin. I'm not asking you to choose between me and your friends, you know I'd never do that but I am asking you to bring my caring, loving Jimin back again and not the one I never see." You sighed.
He gently took your hands in his, tears were now falling from your eyes too as you stared into his. It was never your intention to make him cry but you couldn't just stay silent. "I do love you, I will forever love you. I am sorry that I made you think any different, the reason I distanced myself was because I saw how close you were getting to Namjoon and I didn't want to deal with a ton of heartbreak if you were gonna end up choosing him so I distanced myself to stop myself from getting hurt, but in the process I hurt you and I am so sorry for that." He apologised profusely. "I'll go to the concert with the boys tonight then after dance practice for the next week, I will come home to you and we will plan dates, make up for what I've missed, okay?" He asked with a half-hearted smile.
You had to forgive him and you could tell he was sincere, "Okay, I'll be waiting." You smiled as you pushed yourself up onto your tiptoes and kissed him deeply. "I've missed you so much Jimin. I love you." You told him as you pulled away. "I have missed you too, jagiya. And I love you too." He smiled down at you before pulling you into his arms and hugging you tight. "Please remember that I will never lose love for you, you mean too much to me y/n." He whispered into your hair. "I know, it was stupid. I'm sorry." You replied.
You went home that night, happy to be having your loving boyfriend back. You really couldn't wait for next week now.
TAEHYUNG
It was a simple but cute way that Taehyung asked you to be his girlfriend, you'd been friends for years. And he had developed feelings that you miraculously, to him, reciprocated so he planned a simple picnic in the park, one that you thought was just another friendly day out with Yeontan, his Pomeranian puppy that you'd always loved. However, when you reached the park and began to feast on the perfect little banquet he made that was when he popped the question, "Y/n, I know we've been friends for a while now and in no way do I want to ruin that but I don't think I can stand the thought of us staying as just friends anymore. If that's what you'd like then that's fine with me but if you would like to go a little further with me and become my girlfriend, I promise to treat you right and show you more love than you've ever received before." His little speech was one of the cutest things you'd heard, even Yeontan barked in agreement.
So how could such meaningful words and such a beautiful gesture lead you to be up at night crying whilst he paces the studio practice rooms with the boys?
It started three weeks ago, it was a week after you'd finally got an apartment together. He began being away from you a lot more often, you knew it wasn't just for his work either, some days it'd just be for drinks with the boys, like he didn't do that enough already. You had no obligation to him hanging out with the other members outside their working hours but when he was pushing you away just to do so, that's what hurt.
You hadn't spent time with him in almost three weeks, hadn't seen him in almost a whole week. Sure, you lived together but he always left the apartment before you woke and wouldn't return until after you'd fallen asleep. You couldn't even recall the last time you guys so much as hugged one another.
As the days dragged on, as you saw him less and less, you began to worry. Hoping for nothing more than your boyfriend to be home, by your side, cuddled up onto the couch with you watching some lame chick flick. But the days of when he'd do that were now long gone.
After another horrible day at work, dealing with angry customers, getting blamed by the boss for something one of your co-workers did... Again, and being threatened by your boss; Telling you he'd fire you if you made one more mistake. Your annoyance was already shining through as you parked your car in the drive and walked into your apartment. Right now, all you wanted was for Taehyung to hold you and let you know that it was all gonna be okay.
As you walked through your apartment door, the house was filled with an eerie silence; one you were well more than used to by now. You peeled your jacket off of your warm body and hung it up on the hooks by the front door before grabbing a hair tie and throwing your hair up into a ponytail to stop it sticking to your sweat ridden forehead as you headed into the kitchen and began preparing yourself a meal, a meal for one as usual.
You ate in silence before washing up your plate and heading into the living room with a glass of ice cold juice, you set it down on the table and sat yourself on the sofa as you began thinking of the last couple of weeks. You shook your head in annoyance at all the hardships you'd been through this past month and how Taehyung didn't know about a single one because he was never there for you anymore. You'd finally decided that enough was enough as you finished your juice and grabbed a piece of paper and a pen, beginning to scribble a small goodbye note to the man you loved.
Dear Tae,
I can't stand this any longer. I can't take it. I deserve to be with someone who appreciates me, someone who wants to spend time with me. For the past month, I've been pretty much living alone. You've been pushing me out and I can't stand it, I'm worth more than that. I love you so much Tae, but I don't think those feelings go both ways anymore, maybe we should just go back to being friends? It seemed easier then, and you didn't feel obligated to spend time with me as a friend, I could settle for texts but a girlfriend wants to feel loved by their boyfriend, I haven't felt that in so long.
I'm leaving Tae. I wish you and the boys the best of luck, I really do and I love that you want to spend time with them outside of the studio or dance room, but I thought you'd want to spend time with me too... Guess I was wrong. I love you TaeTae, but goodbye.
With love, y/n x
You folded the note and placed it on the coffee table before picking up your empty glass and taking it to the kitchen where you quickly washed it. You then headed up to yours and Taehyung's shared bedroom and began packing up your things. What you said in the note was true, you do love him but you really didn't feel like he loved you anymore and you couldn't stay where you weren't appreciated, you'd finally realised your own worth and if Taehyung wasn't going to appreciate you for what you were then you would find someone who would.
You slammed your suitcase shut, headed down the stairs and left the apartment, only turning back to post your keys through the letterbox after locking the door. You placed your suitcase into the trunk of your car before climbing into the drivers seat and pulling out of the drive. You continued down the street, taking one last look into the rearview mirror as your apartment disappeared from view.
You parked up at your best friends house, asking her if you were able to stay a few days just until you could get another apartment, one that didn't include Taehyung. Your best friend instantly agreed, sitting you on the sofa and handing you a mug of cocoa, worriedly pleading with you to tell her what was going on and why you'd left Taehyung. Tears blurred your vision and your voice cracked before you even had time to speak, but suddenly everything came flooding out. All your thoughts, all your feelings, everything. All the hurt was too much to bare, you cried yourself to sleep that night on the couch, in the arms of your best friend as she rocked you back and forth and soothingly told you that everything was going to be okay and that it would all work out.
The next morning you awoke, your best friend was gone but she'd left you a note on the table letting you know she had gone to work but she'd be back at seven that night. Today, however was your day off. You sat on the couch and flicked through the channels on the TV, you weren't even gonna bother getting yourself ready today, your heart was hurting and you weren't planning on going out into the public anyways.
However, at noon there was a knock on the door but with it being your friends house, you refused to answer and stayed sat in your position on the couch, watching your favourite TV series. "Y/N, I know you're in there. Y/F/N told me!" He called out from the other side of the door. You dropped the spoonful of ice cream you were about to devour back into the bowl in shock before sighing. The voice coming from the other side of the door belonged to Taehyung and you knew it. You moved the ice cream tub from your lap, pushed your blankets to the side, paused the TV and finally stood up, knowing Taehyung wouldn't leave until he'd spoken to you.
You pulled the front door open and stared at the boy standing on the porch, "What?" You asked him. "Jagiya, please come home. The apartment is so cold and lonely without you." He sighed. "You should be used to that." You shrugged. "What?" He questioned. "Oh wait, no. I'M the one who's used to that. I'M the one who constantly went home to an empty apartment. I AM the one who constantly cried herself to sleep wondering why her boyfriend didn't want to spend time with her anymore. And it's me, I am the one who was lonely for a good month and a half, never feeling so much as an ounce of affection from you. Karma's a bitch, Taehyung. She often makes you have a taste of your own medicine." You said, venom lacing your voice.
He stared at you, instantly realising how much he'd hurt you and how much he'd done wrong. He let out a sigh, "I'm sorry Jagi. I didn't realise what was going on. I didn't realise I was hurting you." He sighed. You shook your head at his attempts, was this really the best he had? He was now staring down at his shoes, "Do you even love me anymore, Taehyung?" You questioned him. His head shot up, his eyes darted to meet yours, what an absurd question. "Of course I do, jagiya!" He exclaimed. "Then why doesn't it feel like it?" You asked. "Why do you brush me off? Why do you spend time with your friends but can't even so much as spend five minutes in the same room as me when we're both awake? What did I do that turned you away from me? Was it the fact that we moved in together? What was it?" You cried in hopes that he'd have an answer. "I don't know jagi. All I know is that I'm sorry and that I love you. I would die for you, please just come home with me. I'll change, I'll spend more time with you, I'll take you on dates, I'll love you unconditionally again. Just please, please y/n, please come home." He was practically pleading by this point and you could hear the pain in his voice. You could tell he was being sincere.
Your heart ached for him and you knew he always kept his promises so you then said, "Okay, I'll come home but please don't shut me out again Tae." He stared at you. "Please don't doubt my love for you again." He said as he pulled you into him and hugged you close. Taking in your scent and realising how much he had missed you, just simply breathing you in.
You then retreated back into the house, placed the ice cream back into the freezer, tidied up so your friend didn't have to, turned off the TV, wrote a note to your friend letting her know you were going home before grabbing your suitcase and walking towards your boyfriend. His eyes lit up when he saw you approach before reaching his hand out, you took it instantly causing him to intertwine your fingers as you both began making your way back to your shared home, finally happy you had gotten each other back.
JUNGKOOK
You were in your shared bedroom, waiting for Jungkook to finally return home. You had picked out the movies for your date night that you'd finally arranged, you stared down at the movies, there was Bad Boys, Bad Boys 2, Despicable Me, Peter Pan, Lion King and even Tangled... Yes, most of them were Disney movies but you both knew how much of a Disney fanatic you were. You had the popcorn on the night stand, the soda in the mini fridge in the bedroom and the chocolate hearts were in a box on the pillow.
This was the first time in weeks that he'd decided to spend time with you, whenever you've suggested a date in the past he's come up with reasons as to why he can't attend, "No, I've arranged some one and one dance training with Hoseok." or "Not tonight jagi, me and the boys are going out." Of course, his refusing would always cause arguments causing him to stay out the entire night.
You were beginning to think it was something you'd done until one day he offered you a date night; tonight. He had dance practice today but he promised that he'd make it back in time; Even though he still hadn't shown. He promised you that he'd be back at 8pm sharp, it was now 8:30 and you were beginning to get impatient. You grabbed your phone and began scrolling down your snapchat, that was when a story from Jungkook appeared.
You furrowed your brows before clicking on the little circle and beginning to watch his story, there were snapchats of the dance practice that you couldn't help but smile at until you reached the most recent one, "Five minutes ago?" You questioned in confusion. You smiled half heartedly at the picture, it was him and the boys, you hoped he was on his way home until you caught notice of the caption which read 'Boys night out after difficult dance rehearsal. It's going to be good.'
You threw the phone on to the bed, annoyance taking over your features. You'd just about had enough of this, you were sick and tired of him blowing you off for the sake of his friends. If it were for dance rehearsals or studio you'd understand, if he didn't see his friends often you'd understand but he sees them everyday so of course it made you angry.
You stood up, grabbing the movies and throwing them across the room before grabbing the popcorn bowl and smashing it against the wall in anger, you walked out of the room, grabbing your phone and taking it with you as you grabbed a duffel bag full of already packed clothes, you scribbled a note to Jungkook, letting him know that you were plain and simply done. You then left the house, locked the door, posted the key through the letterbox and began heading towards your parents house, hoping they'd let you stay for a few nights, luckily they didn't live far.
You walked up the front path and towards the gate, your eyes scanning the garden to see if their cars were parked in the drive; your mother was home, thank god. You walked up to the front door and knocked as loud as you could, you could already hear Dolly Parton blasting through the open windows. Soon enough you heard the music stop and movement behind the door. The front door was pulled open and your mum stared at you from the other side of the door, she instantly sensed something was wrong because she pulled you into her arms and walked you into the house.
Tears were evident on your face as she handed you a mug of your favourite hot drink before sitting beside you, "What's wrong sweetie?" She asked you. Your shoulders dropped, a sigh escaping your lips, "I'm... I'm thinking of leaving Jungkook." You blurted out, the words falling from your lips before you had time to stop them. Your mother looked shocked, "Hunny, why?" She asked slightly taken aback. "I just can't deal with it anymore, the constant let downs, the pain, the hurt." You sighed. "I can't do it anymore mum. He's been calling our dates off for weeks and when he decides it, he just simply doesn't show and instead ends up going on a night out with the boys." You said in annoyance. "I'm tired of it." The tears slipped down your face, your throat hurting more and more after each shout.
You went to bed that night, throat hurting, eyes stinging and heart breaking. You barely slept but when you did, you just dreamt about Jungkook and what his sweet little face will be like when he realises you're breaking up with him, as you're breaking his heart.
You awoke the next morning and pulled your duvet off of your body, you headed down the stairs and into the living room, sitting on the sofa beside your mother who was drinking her morning coffee. "You okay this morning, hun?" She asked. "I'm okay mum." You nodded. "Are you sure?" She questioned. "Positive." You nodded again. You were lying but you couldn't tell her the truth. She'd be so upset.
At about lunch time there was a knock at the door, you walked over and pulled the door open; answering it and coming face to face with the person on the other side. Your face dropped as you took in his features, his dishevelled hair, the bags under his eyes, the look of drowsiness on his face. He didn't say hello, he didn't bother with a greeting at all, the first words to come out of his mouth were "Please come home, y/n." He said. You could tell he needed you, you could tell how tired he was. You could tell that he didn't sleep at all last night, you really wanted to go back with him but you didn't see the point when he was just going to go back to his old ways once you were back there. "What's the point Jungkook, nothing will change." You sighed. "I need you." He replied. "You haven't shown that in the past few weeks." You shrugged. You hated seeing him like this and you did care about him so much but you couldn't just be thrown to the side.
You sighed as you folded your arms across your chest, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He said as he ran his fingers through his messy hair. "Jungkook, do you even still love me?" You sighed. That question had been going unanswered for weeks and you figured it was about time you asked. His eyes almost popped out of his head, "Baby! Of course I love you, why would you ask such a silly question?" He asked. "Because you haven't bothered spending time with me in about three weeks, when I suggest date nights there's always a new excuse and then last night, I waited for you to show up for our date night at home and I see on your snapchat that you're going out with the boys instead, how do you think that made me feel?" You asked. "I haven't felt like I'm loved in weeks, Kookie. And I love you with my whole being!" You sighed. "I'd understand it if you never saw the boys or if you were blowing me off because of practice or studio sessions, but that is never the case. I always make sure that I plan our dates after your rehearsals but that's never enough for you and I don't understand why. I would do anything for you, Jungkook but right now I just don't feel anything from you. So I have to ask, do you even still love me?" You repeated the question.
He cupped your face with his hands, holding it tenderly and gently, wiping away fresh tears that you didn't even realise were falling, "Hey, I love you with my whole being too Jagiya. I apologise for how I've acted, I'm sorry. You've been nothing but an angel to me and I've treated you like I'm the devil. I'm sorry. But I will change, and I plan to, starting right now. Come home, we'll have that movie date I suggested, we'll need more popcorn but I'm sure we have that and a fresh bowl in the cupboard. Having you away from me for one night was bad enough, I don't want that to turn into you being gone forever. I love you too much." He smiled before pulling you in for a sweet kiss. You kissed back, intensifying the kiss before pulling away. "Let's go home, bunny." You whispered. He nodded, grabbing your hand and heading back to the apartment with you where you finally started your movie date.

Hi! i read about what you replied to friendship question about BTS boys, you said that Jimin may not have a best friend because he does not need to choose only one, so... i asking myself, what role has Taehyung in Jimin life? they really seem genuine when they say that they are best friends, then Jimin does not really feel like that? thank you for your time :)
Hey there! There seems to be.. a misunderstanding here. One of the admin on my blog showed me that this is from the bestie of a different gender post right? The context is missing, on the post itâs under the guidelines that itâs a scenario of someone else - and thus I didnât talk about the boyâs friendship there because I thought it was obviously not related to the post (âdifferent gender bestieâ assuming its someone outside of the team?)Â
Second, he does have a lot of friends and thus when I was writing the post, I focused on explaining an astrological perspective on how it could positively nurture and revitalize him (libra+gemini). The narrative and explanation I gave was pointing towards how to treat libra + gemini placements right, managing expectations (not to be delusional) and how to treat those who may have similar placements well. It was by no means interpreting Jimin as someone whoâs ingenuine to his friends in anyway. If anything, my approach to this wouldâve been to appeal to the reader to be more open-minded to the person/subject in question by explaining certain approaches in a more humane way? So I think.. this may be.. a big misunderstanding/misinterpretation...Â
I also didnât think it would discredit Taehyung/Vmin because?? again?? it was?? unrelated to the post from the different gender bestie?? And I thought it was... obvious that they are best friends?? Â
If you are interested in hearing it clarified, on what I meant on the original post, I was talking about his libra/gemini placements, and the idea is that it can bounce and thrive in nurturing environments if he finds good soil for it to grow with (nice and strong) it doesnât overlook the fact that he also has scorpio venus/mars, and how those can point to belonging and placing/giving sentimental/emotional affection to someone specifically as well (taehyung) Especially if he sees?? this person?? as close to family/family???Â
While he might be incline to give certain people opportunities/chances to get to know him as well, it doesnât mean he gives out his sentimentality to just anyone willy-nilly. Heâs nice but heâs not stupid?? Nor are they naive (libras) to just let anyone in. Thereâs complexity in this, that is what I want to say on the topic I think. To manage your expectations, and understand that parameters for âclosenessâ isnât the same everywhere. We cannot demand the same treatment someone would give to a dear person, to be given to us. What is given should be given freely (in friendship like this) - and sometimes being pushy/demanding/disappointed in someoneâs love expression just means perhaps we should adjust our understanding of love-style and close-ness, access ourselves/our relationships.  Â
In the end, what I suggest was that you canât demand or expect âbest friendsâ to be the same dynamic everywhere. Which is where most people can become disillusioned with their fantasies of relationships with others, and what to expect (unrealistically). Libras especially may face this, because theyâre air cardinal and sometimes you hear about them not being as close as you think they are to you. However, thatâs why I had to explain how to appreciate Libras and what they give you. How to manage expectations and appreciate their self-expression they give to you. Closeness isnât the same for everyone, and sometimes you canât force people to treat you a certain way or demand more than what they give you. I did not want to feed into the delusions of the âdifferent gender bestieâ being tightly intimate like vmin, especially without covering grounds of what a healthy normal/typical friendship with each sign would suggest beforehand, which is where the quote is from.Â
What they have is grown from their own efforts, trust and support/dedication for each other. Like thatâs-- realistically, just what vmin had shown to us in the real world. Outside of scenarios and especially astrology scenarios. Astrology can be enjoyed and suggest perhaps what each other would appreciate. But in the end oneâs experience would shape how we approach things/future endeavours, right?Â
I hope this answers your question, clarifying what I said/meant in further details. I hope this makes more sense! đđâ€ïž In conclusion, I donât doubt theyâre best friend, nor did I ever paint him (jimin) to be someone whoâs -- like what youâre suggesting? I hope this misunderstanding is cleared now, first in terms of context and second in term of clearing Jiminâs character/person. The implication youâve made on his image/character is a little more alarming than anything else I think. I was concerned/alarmed that I would suggest such a narrative, when that has been the total opposite of what Iâve always intended to do. So please be careful in the future and donât put peopleâs words out of context! đđâ€ïžÂ Â

Another Variable
You donât think heâs much of a demon as he is a worm since he seems to have quite the talent in worming his way into your life. Now that heâs passed the Spice Girlsâ code of conduct, you shouldâve known that itâs only fair that you would do the same. Only, you werenât ready for it.

A/N: ohhh boyyy ummm not much to say other than this just keeps getting longer and that I donât if Iâm doing it well :DD
Youâre caught like a deer in the headlights; your mind blanking because your brain cells have called for a state of emergency in the form of running around like headless chickens in a panic.
 All two of them.
Jaehee continues to openly gawk at your guardian demon that looks too much like a world-renowned Korean celebrity to be a coincidence, at least to her untrained eyes. Youâre struggling to come up with a plausible excuse for it, your own eyes flitting nervously to Jimin in a silent plea for help but he seems way too amused at the situation; more than he should be considering heâs the one whoâs the cause of it. In fact, he knows heâs made an oopsie but seeing you struggling like this makes it worth it. You see your window of opportunity closing, literally see it slipping as the longer neither of you say anything, the more Jaeheeâs eyes begin to widen, mouth slowly forming into an âOâ of realization like sheâs just on the cusp of pinpointing exactly where sheâs seen him from.
God this is itâŠthis is how it all ends.
But as if sensing your despair (or maybe taking pity on you), your guardian demon finally makes a move. With a deliberate tilt of his head, he flashes her a million dollar smile with charm levels reaching over 9000 and as smooth as a cucumber says, âI donât think weâve met before.â
You see the sentence put Jaeheeâs thoughts to a halt for a moment, her eyebrows scrunching up in confusion. The gears are turning in her head and you watch on, feeling a sweat beginning to break out but as you sneak a glance at Jimin, heâs still unbothered like heâs got this one in the bag. Jaehee brings herself back again, eyes focusing in on Jimin and with determination she rebuttals with, âNo, I swear Iâve seen you from somewhereâŠlikeâŠon TV or the internet or somethingâŠâ
She trails off in thought, her piercing gaze drifting off for a bit as if the files of her memories were floating above her head, her mind sifting through them. Jimin remains silent, completely relaxed as he waits patiently for Jaehee to arrive to some other conclusion. You, on the other hand, have short-circuited into becoming a statue, muscles stiff and on edge because it feels as if youâre trying to prevent a bomb from detonating by tiptoeing around it (i.e. being useless). Perhaps itâs too late to make that analogy now because before you know it, you see Jaeheeâs figurative light bulb go off on her head and the next words she exclaims a little too loudly.
âI remember now! You look like one of the Korean boy group member that Y/N follows! BTS right?!â Her excited eyes dart towards you as if to confirm but all you manage is a croaky sound akin to a dying cat. Jaehee powers on regardless like sheâs on a roll.
âGosh I donât remember his name but I swear you look just like him! UmâŠâ Sheâs snapping her fingers, trying to jog her memory some more, muttering to herself. âIt starts with a âJâ likeâŠJay, JoâŠUgh! Heâs your favourite too right?â
At the moment, you wished he wasnât.
Jaehee continues to list off variations of âJâ names off the top of her head until they start to sound more like something resembling Jiminâs name. âJumin! Or is it Jimin? Is it either one of them?â
Youâre horrified but also impressed with Jaehee, being that despite blabbering to her about BTS whenever she catches you in those moments, you had an inkling that she was only half-listening to you because she wasnât very interested in them so for her to remember a specific member and placing a name? Youâre a little touched. But of all timesâŠ. why now?
Jimin doesnât say anything, and the silence makes the beating of your heart seem all the more deafening to you. He blinks once, then twice, before a slow smile makes its way across his lips.
âAhhâŠ.â He lets out as if he only just realized that he looks like an A-List celebrity. You hate him so much right now but heâs doing a hell of a good job at deflecting Jaeheeâs suspicions. âI know who youâre talking about now! Yeah, I get told I look like him a lotâŠlike, all the time.â
Jaeheeâs eyes light up with delight at being right as she excitedly proclaims, âI bet you do! Oh my God, have you ever got asked to do those celebrities look-alike gigs? Like TV shows or cameos in movies?â
Jimin lets out a good-natured laugh, a melodious sound with the light tossing of his head that gives both you and Jaehee a clear view of his Adamâs apple bobbing deliciously. You belatedly realize that youâre caught in the line of fire that is Jiminâs demonic charm working its magic to sway Jaehee, the air around shimmering with a smog you feel rather than see. You have to snap out of it; you have to drag yourself out of those crescent shaped eye smiles if you want to make it out of this alive. But itâs just so hardâŠ. Damn it! With great effort however, you tear your eyes away from him, blinking hard to focus in on Jaehee, watching with slight pity at her being reeled into this web of lies.
âJust once or twice, but I have a feeling it might be more often now since BTS is becoming a big thing huh?â And as if to add a finishing blow, he sweeps a hand through his luscious hair with just the right amount of bashfulness that would have anyone, man or woman, swooning. So itâs no surprise that you see that Jaeheeâs a goner; wrapped up nicely around your demon guardianâs fingers.
âYeahâŠ.â Jaehee sighs, sounding suspiciously dreamy but all you do is look on in mild amusement and disbelief, managing a stiff smile in your poor attempts to go along with the act. Thereâs a moment of silence (for Jaeheeâs sanity) and itâs then that you finally gather up the nerves to intervene, sensing that your crisis has been averted. You clear your throat as casually as you can which seems to do the trick in snapping Jaehee out of her daze a bit. She finally draws her eyes away from Jimin who you know is super pleased with himself without having to look at him.
âY-Yeah! So Jaehee, um, I guess I should officially introduce you to JiâJumin! Heâs uhâŠthe one who saved me thatâŠ. one time.â
âOr you can call me Julien, my unofficial English name.â Jimin pipes up from beside you, grinning boyishly as you resist the urge to elbow him in the ribs. Jaehee beams back, eyes going wide again at the new information and you nearly laugh at the way she has to hold herself back from bursting but sort of fails anyways.
âOh my God! Youâre him?! Iâ Oh wow! Um, Iâm Jaehee! Y/Nâs roommate and best friend!â She shoots you a not-so-subtle look that clearly screams, âGIRL WHAT THE HELL! YOU NEED TO SPILL THIS TEA TO ME ASAP!â You only offer back a wry smile.
âNice to finally meet you, Jaehee. I heard a lot about you.â Jimin replies back smoothly, offering his hand to which Jaehee shakes with much enthusiasm. The smile on her face is so wide you think her cheeks would split from the force but as she lets go, her eyes catches sight of one small detail all of you seem to have forgotten.
âOH MY GOD IS THAT MIKE?!â Â
You nearly jump at her sudden outburst, glancing down to see that indeed, Mike is still lying on the ground, KOâed with a bloody nose. A nervous laugh escapes you before you can stop it but Jimin, ever the smooth operator, steps in again with his Oscar winning performance.
âOh! Yeah, I was just in the neighbourhood visiting a friend when I thought I saw Y/N from across the street with this guy. He looks like he was giving her trouble so I stepped in and he got a littleâŠ. violent. I mean, I think he had too much to drink but I had no other choice.â He almost sounded apologetic as he rubs the back of his neck, even throws in a sheepish smile. That little shit. Jaehee eats it up of course, her face morphing into one of frantic reassurance.
âNo, no, no! No I was just on the phone with Y/N and Mike sounded like he was being a douche. Really, Iâm so glad at least you were there to step in before it got bad. Thank you Jumin erâ would you rather prefer Julien?â
 âEither one is fine.â
She nods with a smile. âThank you Julien, I really appreciate it. But we still gotta take him homeâŠ. I guess.â
âOh no, no Iâll take care of him; itâs my fault really. You two should head home since itâs getting late.â
At the proclamation, your eyes dart to Jimin alarmed because who knows what âtake care of himâ actually means with him. He seems to pick up on what youâre thinking because all he does is give you a secretive smirk that tells nothing of his true intentions. It further worries you.
âAre you sure Julien? You donât have to, like you barely know him. We can just call someone to pick him up with an Uber and heâll be fine; you donât have to trouble yourself!â
As much as Jaehee insists however, Jimin waves it all off with a hand and a deceptively angelic smile on his face, lightly pushing you more towards Jaehee in an attempts to send you off on your way quicker. You resist a little because you still donât trust him being alone with a person whom he very much would want to kill and then tell you it was an âaccidentâ after.
âIâm sure Jaehee, donât worry! Iâll text Y/N to keep you updated and for sure, if I need your help, Iâll holler okay?â
Jaeheeâs hesitancy finally gives way, no doubt from that blinding smile Jimin is giving, and she finally concedes albeit reluctantly, grabbing your arm and tugging you to her side. You stumble, mouth opening and closing like a fish because you donât want to leave Jimin unsupervised but you also donât want to have to clean up this mess that is Mike either.
âOkayâŠif youâre absolutely sureâŠ.â She says, dragging the end syllable as a last ditch effort to get Jimin to change his mind. However, the demon holds fast with a confident nod, shifting so that it looks like heâs just about to pick up the still unconscious man on the ground.
âPositive. You two get home safe okay? Text me Y/N when youâve arrived.â He says cheerily, scooping up Mike by the arm and more or less, swings him up like a sack of potatoes with no consideration to his injuries. Jaehee, with rose coloured glasses, gives one final nod and wave, bidding Jimin farewell and ultimately drags you away from the scene of the crime. You shoot one more glare Jiminâs way over your shoulder only to scowl when he just smiles, eyes crinkled and waves at you cutely until youâre too far to read his face.
Not like you can dwell on it for long either because Jaeheeâs on you, like sheâs snapped herself out of most of the haze the spell had on her to jerk you forward, effectively gaining your attention and tearing your eyes away from the last of Jiminâs figure.
âOh. My. GOD! Y/N! Y/N you bitch! Why didnât you tell me that that was the guy that saved you and you were talking to on and off to the point I thought you totally had a thing going on!â She exclaims, shaking you a bit in her anger but just when youâre about to get on the defensive, her next words immediately dispel any negative feelings bubbling inside of you. âI tried to set you up with someone like Mike for crying out loud! And you had someone like Julien all this time?! Girl what were you thinking?! What was I thinking?!â
You can only let out a huff of laughter, bemused by the whole turn of events as Jaehee continues her zealous, one-sided interrogation on you, asking questions like where did you meet him? How did you meet him? Were there always good-looking guys like that in the city? Tell me your ways! But never really giving you the time or breathing space to answer back. You make it back home in no time though, sending Jaehee off with some satisfactory half-truths. By the time you make it into your room, youâre absolutely drained, mentally and physically. So much so that you had to take the time to lean against your closed door to just shut your eyes and exhale deeply.
But you canât go to sleep yet. No, not without knowing if your guardian demon with the tendency for murder is behaving himself. So you see to it that you have no choice but to sit awake, on your bed, like youâre a parent waiting to catch their teenager who snuck out for the night red handed. After washing up, you settle to sit in your bed for what you dread to be a long night. Only you didnât quite foresee one (admittedly, crucial) thing; you were so tired.
It felt like you had just closed your eyes for five seconds but the next time you open them, sunlight was leaking through your blinds. Needless to say, you trip out for a hot second because what the fuck.
 âGood morning sunshine.â
You jerk in surprise like youâve been electrocuted and you let out a whining curse from being startled so suddenly (you barely have your eyes open for crying out loud!) Through your sheets and flyaway hairs, you manage to spot the unmistakable figure of your would-be rebellious teen, sitting in your desk chair like a preening cat.
âWhereâve you been last night!?â You hiss, accidentally putting too much emphasis on the first word before catching yourself from raising your voice any further. You donât need Jaehee to wake up to this; itâs one thing for her to know of Jiminâs existence now but itâs another having to explain how he managed to break into your room and quite frankly, youâre not in the mood to risk another improv moment with Jimin as the lead actor. Your aforementioned guardian demon does nothing but run a hand through his hair, the locks parting like waves over his forehead before gently falling back perfectly to frame his face. Heâs changed out of his outfit from last night, opting for another one of his dark silken shirts that drape loosely on his frame, offering a tantalizing view of his collarbones with his staple black slacks.
It almost distracts you from your interrogation. Almost.
âWhy, I was here the entire time cherub. Like the dutiful guardian I am.â He answers you airily, eyes fluttering with feigned innocence. You shoot him a glare, suspicion rolling off you in a way youâre sure he feels it too but you donât retort back becauseâŠ. you canât; you fell asleep before confirming it so this makes it ten times more infuriating because Jimin knows it too if the way heâs biting into his bottom lip to stop himself from laughing is anything to go by. You breathe in deeply, clearing your throat as you prepare to change tactics.
âWell, the last time I saw you, you so graciously volunteered to take care of myâŠâ You stop yourself, struggling to find the appropriate word. Ugh, what do you even call Mike after that incident now? You think even âacquaintanceâ is a little too generous. Either way, you make a mental note to delete him from your contacts list as soon as you figure out whether or not your guardian demon has deleted him in a more⊠permanent way.
A snort draws you from your musings and your gaze focuses back in on Jimin who has a hand up to his mouth to hide the grin on his face (his crinkled eyes gives him away though). You raise a brow at him, lost at what exactly he finds so funny.
âSorry, the look of absolute disgust on your face is unbecoming of you.â
At that, your face scrunches up even more unattractively. âAfter that disaster, I think Iâve earned my right to be absolutely disgusted; I think a date with a garbage can wouldâve gone smoother than whateverâŠthat was.â
That pulls a peal of laughter from him, head tossing back as his shoulders shake and the sight of it all makes you have to hide your own growing smile (right before you realize that you should probably keep it down or else youâd be found out, so you throw a leg out in Jiminâs direction with a half-warning âJimin! Shush!â to get him to reel himself back in).
âTo answer your previous statement,â Jimin starts after composing himself, âI took care of him alrightâŠ.â
âJiminâŠ.â You groan out, not liking the very dark tone heâs taken on with the confession but really, honestly speaking? You donât really care as long as Mikeâs not dead. âWhat did you do?â
âOh nothing special; got him home, tucked him into bed, read him a bedtime story, set his dorm on fireâŠ.â He lists off casually, even takes the time to examine his cuticles.
You on the other hand, start spluttering, managing to just choke out a strained, âWhatâ!â before continuing on like heâs spilled lipstick in your Valentino white bag (which you sadly donât own).
âOkay, fine; I set him on fire.â
That does not make it any better!             Â
Your horrified speechlessness sets another bout of uncontrollable giggles from Jimin whoâs beside himself. As he struggles to not fall from his seat, youâre trying desperately to figure out if heâs being serious or heâs just messing with you. The worst thing is you canât tell.
âJimin!â You whine after he shows no signs of throwing you a bone. âPlease tell me you didnât actually!â
The little imp takes his sweet time calming down, wipes a tear or two and ruffles his hair again in that infuriating way you know that he knows he looks good. Your little glare has turned imploring at this point and at the sight of your pathetic self; Jimin rolls his eyes as he kisses his teeth.
âAlright, alright. I just messed with him a bit; a little traumatized from it maybe but heâll liveâŠ. unfortunately.â He crosses his arms, leaning back in his chair as plump lower lips jut out in a pout. âYouâre so lucky I have some restraint. I was this close to setting him on fire.â Jimin demonstrates it by bringing up a hand, the pads of his pointer and thumb a hair away from touching before he drops it to sigh out wistfully, âItâs tragic.â
You canât help but breathe a laugh through your nose from his theatrics before flopping back against your pillows, hands over your face because you can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Good, thatâs one less thing to worry about. But now that just brings your attention to the next thing.
 âWhat about Jaehee?â
 âWhat about her?â
âShe knows who you are now! Donât you have some demon magic to make her forget?â
âWhy would I?â Jimin asks, raising an eyebrow at you. âShe just thinks I look freakishly like your celebrity crush. Besides,â He takes the time to cross his legs elegantly and fold his hands over a knee. âThis just makes things easier for us doesnât it? I donât have to skulk around like some pervert, as you had so affectionately called my âguardian dutiesâ.â
âYeah, but that still wonât explain why youâre skulking around in my bedroomâŠ. like a pervert.â
âOh darling is that what youâre so worried about?â He coos at you, leaning forward slightly to pin you with a deep amber gaze that has you unconsciously leaning back even from beneath the safety of your covers. Itâs like youâre held captive against your will with just a single look from him, wanting so much to look away out of self-consciousness but the way his hooded eyes seem to swirl in a multi-faceted display of rich, dark hues that remind you of molten lava has you so entranced. Before you know it, youâre lost and drowning in them, so hyper-aware of everything about him. You swallow thickly when you see his rosy lips part and the sounds of his voice flows out in a timbre that seems to rumble from his chest, husky and low.
âWould you like me to fix that for you?â
All at once, you feel your face flush with a heat that seems to travel through your entire body along with a slew of emotions that has your mind going haywire. Youâre frazzled, heart beating ridiculously hard against your chest from the implication but to your complete horror and slow realization, most of these feelings arenât even directed at his words. Instead, you find that it was more so towards your own racing thoughts and the small admission that youâreâŠ. actually slightly turned on?!
The blankets have become far too hot now but itâs your only line of defense if you hope to get out of this one with your dignity still intact. Only that seems like a pipe dream because Jimin snorts out another laugh that breaks the sultry mask he had on, eyes practically disappearing amidst his muffled laughter. Of course it does nothing to calm your nerves because 1) the speed of which he switches demeanour baffles you, 2) now youâre on the verge of busting the biggest uwu youâve ever had and 3) he fucking knows.
You really wish the devil himself would come and take you to the deepest pits of hell now because your face feels like itâs caught fire to keep it burning for the next thousand or so years.
âOh dear, did I break you?â Jimin giggles and all you can do is glare petulantly at him; the only thing you make visible from beneath your blanket wall while choosing to mutter angrily under your breath (youâd rather not risk incriminating yourself further). You donât need this sort of disrespect from him, not when youâve also barely managed to get out of bed. He doesnât seem to care though, with that shit-eating grin on his face as he gets up from his seat, hands stuffed into his pocket to stare down at you, eyes still twinkling mischievously.
âDonât be such a sour puss, kitten. Now go wash up before your breath starts peeling the wall paint.â
 âWHAT THE FUâ?!â
 -
By the time youâre done washing and officially âwokenâ up, itâs two in the afternoon and Jimin was nowhere to be found. You huff to yourself, missing out on clobbering him for that last comment but eventually shrugged it off and went about your day with the intent of relaxing to the fullest. Youâre thankful that both you and Jaehee have unanimously decided it was a lazy, stay-at-home, minimal social interacting day (though you can pretty much guess the reason why, not that youâre complaining).
Your only hiccup was skirting around Jaehee who had told you she thought she heard you yelling in your room when she greeted you (to which you brush it off by saying you thought a spider had crawled its way up your arm, you know, like a liar). Other than that, youâre finally getting a much deserved self-care session that involves you, a warm cup of tea and re-watching Burn The Stage: The Movie for the nth time.
âHey what you want for dinner tonight Y/N?â Jaehee calls to you from the kitchen. You shift an earphone out from your place on the living room couch and give it some thought before ultimately coming up short.
âI donât know; make whatever you feel like Jaehee.â
âOh câmon, is there really nothing you crave? How about I make your favourite dish?â She pokes her head out from the threshold to give you a pout. Jaehee, on top of still being apologetic over what happened between you and Mike, insisted that she cooks you dinner to make up for it (even after telling you that she told Jason to never bring or hang around with Mike ever again, which was really all you could ask for). You smile at her wryly with a shrug because you like any food Jaehee makes (and she makes some pretty bombass food).
Knowing this, Jaehee blows a raspberry before tilting her head back in thought before whipping back around again. âFine! But no complaining when itâs not what youâre expecting!â
âWhen have I ever Jaehee?â You laugh.
Contrary to your indecision, it doesnât take long for Jaehee to get to work, the sounds of chopping and pans clanking flowing out steadily from the kitchen and before you know it, the sizzling chorus of rice being fried takes over along with the aromatic smell of meat, herbs and kimchi. You feel yourself salivating.
âDinnerâs ready!â Jaehee calls out and youâre more than ecstatic. Placing down your laptop, you hop off the couch and pad over to the kitchen, letting your nose lead you. And you were not disappointed because Jaehee had just finished setting down a cast iron pan full of kimchi fried rice, topped with two sunny-side up eggs, chopped scallions, nori and sprinkled chilli powder on your small dining table.
âOh my god Jaehee, how do you do this?â You ask, openly gaping because wherein you think you have quite the baking talent, Jaehee is all about the culinary stuff; taking simple dishes and spicing them up by adding ingredients or trying different methods of serving. She only grins back at you, shimmying her shoulders in way that clearly shows sheâs pleased with herself. Jaehee takes a seat and you do as well, picking up the metal spoon thatâs been set down.
âThanks for the food!â You say before digging in too eagerly. The first bite nearly makes you moan aloud and it just further fuels your gusto. Youâre about half way into dinner; happily chatting with Jaehee about the Netflix show youâve both following when the doorbell chimes. You stop, spoonful of fried rice halfway into your mouth as you and Jaehee exchange puzzling looks.
âUh, I wasnât expecting anyoneâŠ.â Jaehee says, though sheâs slowly getting up from her seat anyways. You remain unmoving, only gently setting down your spoon to shoot Jaehee a tentative look.
âMaybe if we pretend weâre not home theyâll go away? Probably could be a solicitor.â
âIâll just take a peek, I donât think itâs Jason even though sometimes heâll get off work early. But he usually lets me knowâŠâ Jaeheeâs voice fades as she steps further into the threshold of your front entrance. You lean your chair a little to try to get a view of the doorway but all you see is a sad, indiscernible corner, even though youâre nearly toppling over. You hear her footsteps halt, a silent pause, and then a loud gasp. Youâre instantly alerted but before you can ask whatâs wrong, you hear the clicking of locks unfastening and the door opening.
 âJulien!â
You let out an undignified loud squawk from actually nearly toppling over on your chair but it gets lost amidst Jaeheeâs excited chatter. By the time youâve righted yourself, youâre a disheveled mess as Jaehee comes bounding in like a golden retriever, wide smile splitting across her face.
âJulienâs here! He stopped by saying you didnât text back so he got worried and wanted to check up on you! Go say hi!â She gets out in one breath and youâre only left to stare wide-eyed at her in a malfunctioning manner.
âWhaâ Whereâ Huh?!â You get out intelligently. But Jaehee is having none of it, quickly switching over to âmother modeâ with her hands on either hips, pursed lips and a pointed look that pretty much screams, âgo say hi to your relative that you havenât seen since you were five years old!â
âGirl, heâs waiting by the door! Go talk to him!â
And without waiting for your response, she promptly drags your chair out from the table, grabbing your wrist to haul you to the door with your body still in flight or fight mode. But itâs too late, Jaeheeâs got you in a vice grip and you arrive out into the hallway where you clearly see Jimin, in all of his fucking glory, idly standing by the front door in such an effortless modelesque way that anyone could easily set up a photo shoot right here and now and he would be ready. Heâs still wearing the outfit you last saw him in; only heâs thrown on a chic blazer-cut, dark grey pea coat with a black, white-trimmed scarf draping over his shoulders. If you squint, you see the trademark Câs embroidered at the corners: Chanel.
You feel poor just looking at it; ten times more so because youâre still in one of your less than cute PJs.
He immediately turns his attention towards the two of you approaching him; lips quirking into an easy smile but all you see is a snake. Jaehee doesnât catch the disgruntled look on your face directed at Jimin, too preoccupied in being a good host.
âSorry, Y/Nâs just a little caught off guard. She doesnât do well with spontaneity.â
Jimin lets out an airy laugh, the back of his hand coming up to cover his mouth. âI sort of figured. Again, Iâm really sorry if this is a bad time; I just really want to check up on Y/N considering what happened last night.â
âWell!â You pipe up, voice rising unintentionally from the need to end this conversation and kick him out of here as fast as you can. âIâm totally fine! â As you can see. So thanks for stopping by but yeah, you shouldnât waste your time here now. SoâŠ.â
âY/N!â Jaehee warns under her breath, followed by a pinch to your arm that has you flinching away with a pout. She plasters on a pleasant smile but through the blinding pearly whites, she grits out to you, âWould you mind keeping our guest company for a bit? Iâm gonna go clean up and set up some tea and coffee okay?â
âOh noââ You start but are taken aback when you hear your voice overlapping with Jiminâs. You whip your gaze to him the same time he does to you in movie-like comedic timing. Your eyes narrow as his only take on a twinkling mischievousness, knowing full well that you wanted him out of here while heâs only putting up an act of modesty. Of course, to Jaehee, it all looks too cavity inducing sweet so with an unfortunately misplaced, knowing look, she saunters off saying that sheâll go make that coffee and tea now with a tone of finality, leaving you no choice but to be alone with your pain-in-the-ass guardian. At least now, it gives you a moment of privacy to properly talk to him without having to keep face.
âWhat are you doing here?!â You whisper yell and on instinct, throw in a slap to his arm. He easily bats it away, grinning in a Cheshire-like fashion.
 âIsnât it obvious cherub?â
You retaliate back with a barrage of slaps, wanting to wipe that stupid grin off his face. It works somewhat because now heâs scowling at you, even though he easily defends himself by holding up an arm.
 âThis is Gucci you know.â
âYou need to leave right now! You canât just show up at my door like this!â
âOn the contrary, I think as your dutiful guardian, itâs in our best interest if I build a rapport with those you associate yourself with yes?â
âThatâs highly debatable.â You shoot back with a hiss. The clinking of ceramic mugs has you darting your eyes away from Jimin to the kitchen, making you miss out on the way he mimics you sassily. You inwardly curse because you almost physically feel your chances of getting Jimin out of here become slimmer and slimmer. You immediately whip back to him, an accusatory finger raised to his face and words spilling out in such rapid succession that you struggle to keep the volume down. âListen, I donât know what kind of games youâre playing right now but youâre crossing the line! You do know that youâre actually risking your own cover by doing this right? So if shit hits the fan and you get found out and then get exorcised, donât come whining to me about getting thrown back to hell and doing grunt work.â
All throughout your berating, Jimin only smiles amused, which only infuriates you further. Youâre over here about to blow a gasket but he just gives you a look like youâre a yapping little Chihuahua who has a lot to say. Well, you do! And this little Chihuahua is about to bite his head offâ!
âBreathe sweetheart, or I fear you might put yourself into cardiac arrest.â He chastises with feigned exasperation, placing a placating hand on your tense shoulders. You shoot him a hard glare, shoulder hunching up even more before he finally lets out a sigh, seeing as youâre not receptive to his playfulness. âLook, nothingâs going to happen, I promise. And though I do enjoy terrorizing you until youâre a frazzled mess, Iâm not careless.â He pauses to give you a sincere, reassuring smile. âTrust me on this one.â
The smile is so disarming that you eventually find yourself deflating, letting out a deep, calming breath. As you sink a little deeper into thoughts, you actually find that heâs right to a certain degree. Jaehee so far doesnât seem to suspect anything beyond thinking Jimin looks funnily enough like your actual idol crush and your doppelgĂ€nger here has yet to give away any hints that heâs actually a supernatural entity youâve made a contract with. But you find thatâs all besides the point, what you find more troubling is that youâre starting to become too aware of the effects he has on you and heâs not even actively using an ounce of his demonic powers; that fact alone messes you up in more ways than one.
He had so easily calmed and swayed your emotions with only a few spoken words that are always delivered in a way you least expect. When you think youâve got him pinned for being a snarky, sassy, materialistic, nuisance of a demon who has a devious streak and finds amusement in making your life a little harder than it should at times (under the guise of being your âguardianâ), he hits you with another side to him that lets you get a glimpse of something softer; that in spite of it all, heâll never let you down when it counts. And you would think this bias stems from the fact that he looks like your idol crush butâŠ. you find that itâs not. Itâs more than that, and it sort of scares you.
Throughout your silent brooding, Jimin watches and waits patiently, the faintest of smiles ghosting his lips. He canât help but admit to himself that the creasing of your brow, as youâre lost in your own thoughts is endearing however, he finds that the look doesnât quite suit you. So he presses a finger to soften the harsh lines. In turn, his cool touch snaps you out of your reverie, eyes focusing back on him again.
 âSo are we in agreement?â
The teasing smile that makes his eyes crease up into crescents annoys you but you have no arguments left against him. Casting your eyes to your feet, you mumble out an âI guessâ, crossing your arms as heat begins to rise from your cheeks. Suddenly, you feel a hand rest on your head, giving you a gentle pat of affection.
âThatâs my girl.â You hear Jimin cooing. Stubbornly, you still refuse to meet eyes with him but your childishness only makes him chuckle. Thereâs a pause, a silence washing over you two as the faint smell of coffee starts to permeate the air. Youâre not quite sure where to go from here to be honest, the tiniest piece of your pride bruised from not having the last word (youâd rather not be fuelling Jiminâs ego if you so can help it). But Jimin being⊠Jimin, has no regards to reading the room.
âYou know for a second, I couldâve sworn you were actually concerned if I get myself exorcised.â He teases slyly, which almost automatically sparks a retort at the tip of your tongue but as fate would have it, Jaeheeâs voice interrupts you before you can get it out.
 âCoffee and teaâs ready!â
You huff incredulously, watching Jimin shoot a wink and a finger gun at you before walking off to the kitchen. You follow, grumbling under your breath.
The rest of the evening was basically spent with you being sandwiched between your roommate and guardian demon getting chummy with each other. Half the time you spend sipping your tea while the other youâre trying not to roll your eyes until they fall out of your skull every time Jimin laughs at a comment Jaehee has made (heâs so fake). By the time Jimin has finally decided that he should be heading off now, youâre thanking the heavens and are all too eager to get him out of the house.
âIt was really nice to have a proper conversation with you Jaehee.â Jimin says as he bends down to slip on his loafers.
âLikewise! Iâm really glad to have met you properly, considering how our first meeting sort of went.â Jaehee cheerily replies back. Once Jimin secures the laces, he stands to his full height and flashes a charming smile; hands stuffed into his pea coat pockets.
âThanks for the coffee again, I hope weâll be seeing each other more in the future.â
âOf course! Donât be a stranger when you swing by okay? Iâm sure Y/N wouldnât mind.â
âYou know Iâm still here.â You pipe up from behind Jaehee. Your friend waves you off as Jimin lets out a short chuckle before he perks up with a thought.
âOh! Almost forgot.â He fishes out his mobile, unlocking it and handing it to Jaehee. âJust so we can easily stay in touch. Never know when that one might cause trouble.â He nods towards you and you scoff, offended, as the words spill out from you before you realize it.
 âUh? Rude?â
Jaehee just laughs at your bickering, handing back Jiminâs phone and pulling you forward with an arm slung around your shoulders. âDonât worry, I feel like as long as sheâs got us and BTS, sheâll be fine.â
Now you really want the devil himself to come up and take you away from this; whatâs taking him so long?
âEh, you might actually be right on that.â Jimin replies with a smile before heâs turning towards the door. âWell, Iâll be off then. See you around Jaehee.â He pauses to shoot you a patronizing wave, the tone of his voice switching to a more sing-songy one as he says, âBye Y/N~â
You roll your eyes (loudly), shaking your head. âJust go.â
His eyes crinkle just a little more at your deadpan comment, making his cheeks become rounder than usual. It makes him look very much like that little Bao from the Pixar short film.
 Oh noâŠ.
You bite down on your lip as subtly as you can because you feel the itch of your lips quirking up at the thought. No, no, no, no, no! The little animated bao is way cuter than JiminâYour Jiminâ THIS GUARDIAN DEMON JIMIN DANG IT!
Thankfully, obviously-not-cute-gurdian-demon Jimin leaves with that shit-eating grin still on his face before he can catch you red handed. You sigh out heavily once the door clicks shut, temples throbbing with an oncoming headache. You hear Jaehee laugh again, giving you a good shake before she walks off to clean up the mugs.
âYou two already seem like an old married couple.â
You splutter, rushing after her to adamantly reply, âW-What are you talking about?! Iâve only known him for...â You pause to count, âA month and half now?â
She shoots you a look from the sink before turning back around with a fox-like smile to herself. âYeah, but youâre awfully comfortable already.â
You huff, taking your place beside her to rinse the washed dishes. Jaehee gives you a gentle nudge with her shoulder, playful in a way that you pick up the message sheâs trying to convey. You know she means no harm by it, but the fact of the matter is that she still has no idea of the bigger picture behind this Jimin look-alike, aka Julien (as the demon himself so affectionately named).
âI really think heâs a nice guy, and you seem like youâre fond of him.â Jaehee says, âBonus points is the fact that he looks like your celebrity crush. I mean how lucky is that?â
âSuper.â You reply, canât help the sarcasm leaking through your words. It causes Jaehee to snort.
âOkay, okay Iâll stop. But even though I think heâs a nice guy and that you should totally date himââ
 âHey!â
âIf anything happens, âcus guys are just stupid like that, you tell me and Iâll go beat him up for you okay?â
You highly doubt that would be possible, but you appreciate the sentiment. Still, you suppose a small part of you is glad that Jaeheeâs basically given you her blessings if you so, hypothetically, decide to date Jimin. Not that you would ever because thatâs just weird and wrong but like you know, the feeling is niceâŠ. what are you even saying?! Ugh, you need to sleep.
You and Jaehee finish up quickly and bid each other goodnight before heading off to your respective rooms. Your mind is set on taking a nice, refreshing shower to clear your thoughts and also pamper yourself a bit. The thought makes you smile as you shuffle around your room to grab a new set of PJs and pull out fresh underwear from your drawer.
âInteresting colour choice, though I prefer baby blue.â
âJesus!â You jump back with a hand clutched to your chest, gaze whipping to the source of the voice.
âDdaeng.â Jimin chimes as he climbs down from his perch on your dresser drawer.
âDonât,â You grab the closest thing to you â which is your cat plushyâ and angrily chuck it in his direction but he effortlessly leans out of the line of fire and the poor thing smacks into your wall of posters behind him. âDo that!â
âNot my fault youâre so faint hearted.â He grabs the abused plushy and holds it out to you with a snide smile. Heat flushes your cheeks rapidly but you still swipe it away from him, using it as a shield to hide your intimate wear instead as you glare him down.
 âWhat do you want now?â
âI just came here to let you know that I approve of your friend and therefore, wonât be staging her demise any time soon.â
âYouâWhaâŠâ Youâre flabbergasted, mouth moving but failing to articulate any real words until you give your head a slight shake as if to physically knock yourself back to your senses. âW-Why does that even matter? I wouldâve exorcised you myself if you so much as touch a hair on her.â
Jimin lets out a hearty laugh with a toss of his head (which you promptly shush him for, nearly sending the plush toy in your hands flying at him again but stopping last minute because youâre also holding your underwear).
âYeah, alright princess. But I meant it when I said that it would be beneficial for us if I got acquainted with your friends.â He strides over to your full-length mirror and proceeds to fluff his hair in front of it, continuing to speak to you off-handedly all the while, like Narcissus gazing as his reflection in the pond. âThat way I can keep better tabs on you when Iâm not around.â
You give pause to the last part of his statement, nose scrunching in confusion. âWait why wouldnât you be around? â Donât you even dare.â
He closes his mouth to smirk instead at your warning through the mirror, and you actually see him toying with the idea of commenting on your question for a few moment. Eventually though, he chooses not to but not without having to bite his lower lip to hold himself back. You shake your head with a roll of your eyes.
âI meant as in arenât you supposed to be my guardian demon? So, doesnât that mean you have to stick by me most, if not, all the time?â
âAlas, I am not your personal Cerberus to wait on your every beck and call.â Jimin sighs, spinning on his heels to give you a pouting, tearful expression; like itâs the most devastating piece of news he has to tell you. âAs long as youâre not in harmâs way, my job as guardian is being fulfilled as far as Iâm concerned.â He saunters over to you until you have to crane your neck up to look him in the face. The substantial height difference seems to amuse him, his smile growing wider as he looks down on you.
âBesides my darling homebody, I am a creature of the night; so naturally, Iâd rather be spending my time lurking in dark corners and preying on poor, forsaken souls.â
Ugh, you shouldâve known. Of course his idea of fun would be to terrorize people but as messed up as it is, heâs got a point; who are you to tell him he canât just because heâs your guardian? The contract (and the oath he gave you) really does only state that as long as he keeps you safe and no harm comes to you under his watch, heâs doing his job perfectly. You breathe out heavily, like a parent begrudgingly giving into their rebellious teenâs questionable antics. You can take the demon out of hell, but you canât take the hell out of a demon you suppose.
âJustâ donât do anything stupid okay? Like something that would get you arrested because I donât have the money to bail you out.â You groan out exasperatedly, headache coming back with a vengeance. You could really go for that steaming hot shower and cucumber facial mask right about now.
Jimin grins, crescent eyes and all but says nothing in response to your ultimatum as he begins to back away from you, hands behind his back like a mischievous little boy whoâs taken the last cookie from the cookie jar and blamed it on his little brother, no remorse whatsoever.
âJiminââ You begin, trying to sound stern but it ends off sounding like a whine of desperation. You seriously donât have money to bail him out if he gets arrested!
âDonât miss me too much!â He sings and in a wispy cloud of black smoke, heâs gone before you can attempt a choke hold on him; leaving no trace of his insufferable being other than the fading sounds of his delighted cackling.
After a few moments of counting backwards from ten, your head lops back, letting your gaze bore into the ceiling as if to address an invisible security camera watched by God or whoever was up there in a very âThe Officeâ like fashion. Maybe you should consider going to the church to repent for your sinsâŠ. or maybe this is the divine punishment itself; being stuck with an annoying demon who ironically looks like your idol crush like your own special kind of hell.
Whatever it is, the Lord is really testing you.
You miraculously make it to the shower without any further incident. You triple check that Jimin wonât be appearing any time soon to give you another one of his surprise visits before stripping your clothes and hopping into the shower, turning the water setting to a searing hot temperature. Times like these you wished you had a Jacuzzi to relieve your stress and tense muscles in, but all you have is aromatherapy and self-spa care. It still does the trick so youâre not complaining. You reach for your body wash and upon flicking it open; the familiar smell of lavender-vanilla washes over you and almost immediately, your mind thinks to a certain demon.
You reel for a second, contemplating whether or not you should change your body wash but find that the more you think about other possible alternatives, no other scent calms you like lavender-vanilla does.
Even if it also reminds you of him.
 -
Jimin does as he says he would. For the next few weeks or so, you find that heâll vanish during most hours of the night, only to turn up at random times during the day to check in on you (read: pester and make sure you havenât gotten yourself killed). Sometimes he doesnât appear until youâve come home from work or school but then sometimes youâll see him leave the same night and then show up bright and early the next day when you wake up. He stops by as âJulienâ from time to time as well (much to Jaeheeâs delight and your chagrin, you swear he does that just to keep you on your toes).
But in spite of his teasing and poking, there are days where you come home absolutely drained from a long or particularly bad day, youâll find sweets like chocolate or a steaming cup of tea sitting on your desk. At first you thought it was Jaehee but then after some careful reconsiderations (that involves you trying to weasel your way out of one awkward conversation of, âthanks for the chocolatesâŠOh you never got chocolatesâŠMaybe I forgot I had chocolates haha oops! I must be getting old! Haha never mind!â), you accept that it might possibly be from your not-as-annoying-when-he-chooses-to-be demon.
Bah, you scoff to yourself as you fish your keys out of your pocket. Why are you getting so worked up over who gave you the chocolates? Youâre a simple person, and chocolate is chocolate no matter what (unless theyâre marzipan or mint, you will never understand them). Itâs been another long day and all you can think about is taking a steaming hot shower and curl up into your comforter to binge watch those two episodes of RUN! BTS that you missed. So as soon as you unlock the front door, you fling your shoes off and drag your feet to your room, pushing open the door unceremoniously with the sole of your foot.
You freeze mid-step when you spot a dark figure hunching over your desk. It takes a second for you to catch your nerves, hand falling away from your chest that you had unknowingly brought up from being startled.
âGeez, you scared me! Arenât you supposed to be lurking the night like Batman or some...thingâŠ.â
The sentence fizzles out past your lips as you watch the figure straighten to their full height. It shouldnât have been alarming, only it is because whoever this is is clearly not your guardian. For one they are noticeably taller, as well as a little broader in places youâre not used to seeing on Jimin like in the shoulders. But despite that, they still taper down to a rather impossibly slim waistline, made visibly known thanks to them tucking their cobalt blue silk shirt into their pants. On top of the longer legs, you see the straining of muscled thighs against tight black jeans that you think would even rival Jiminâs; actually they might even beat out Jiminâs because you remember his thighs being thick (letâs not discuss how), but you donât think they were that thick.
 Yeah, definitely not Jimin.
As if that wasnât obvious enough, the figure turns around to face you and you finally see his face. Big doe eyes, large nose and a toothy bunny-like smile make up this youthful, handsome face as he catches sight of you before taking a bite out of your chocolate bar. You stagger back, not believing it.
âHello poppet.â Jeon Jungkook grins at you.
A/n: Jungkook shoot dances his way into battle!

Why are Kpop Predictions so... negative?
I'm not one to humor people who do Kpop Predictions (and for free? really? ya'll out here "spilling info/tea" about celebrities for FREE? IN THIS ECONOMY?). I just find them laughable/amusing because of how inaccurate they are 95% of the times, while toying with the fandoms' emotions. Creating unnecessary drama and stress about things that anyone with a common sense and logic could've predicted all on their own. But to give you guys an idea, here are a few by category:
#1. Twitter based Kpop Predictions
Iâve always had this MAJOR feeling that the great majority of them are run by THE SAME person on different accounts (kinda like how on Tumblr we're allowed to "manage" different blogs for whatever we may need 'em). Cause if you pay close attention they ALL share the same pattern:
SAME moon/crystal ball Icons
SAME way of "predicting" events ( *coughCOPY/PASTEcoughcough* )
They ALL go on hiatus at the SAME TIME and when they finally return they give the SAME excuse that they were depressed, drained of energy, mental blockage/migraine from predicting so much.
They throw shade at other prediction accounts and accuse them of "copying" them since they're "the original one."
They throw random predictions per day that never come true and when they don't and get called out its always the same excuse of "you choose what you want to believe" or "I never said it was gonna happen NOW, it could still happen in the future." (even after saying they would during the current year lol).
The great majority of these accounts are BIASED AF and mostly run by delulu shippers who tease the followers with incomplete information to keep âem interested.
đ Note: The one thing that I heavily dislike about these is that it's been proven in previous years that these accounts either work with or buy information from Sasaengs or insiders within the companies. Which is a big NO-NO in the Kpop community since Sasaengs are disgustingly invasive and have zero disregard for the Idolâs personal life and safety.
#2. Youtube Kpop Predictions/Tarot Card Readers, or as I like to call them: the "super-tragic-always-negative-BTS-are-gonna-disband-this-year-or-the-next-under-super-tragic-circumstances" accounts.
These youtubers are known for spending and wasting 15-20 minutes of their videos (and viewers lives) doing self-promos and showing off the different card decks that they've just recently bought (as if the predictions change based on whether or not you're using a Classic Arcana or a Sailor Moon/Pokemon/YuGiOh with limited edition EXODIA & Shadow Realm included deck) And as mentioned above, ALL of them give super tragic/negative predictions, especially when it comes to BTS. Like I remember at the start of this year, there were around 10 (or more) of them saying that BTS would either disband in mid or near the end of 2019. 5 of them stated (in COPY/PASTE fashion) that 2 members would either abandon the group to pursue solo careers, or that 1 would leave and the other would be kicked out for either health issues or this super huge controversial scandal that would ruin BTS' or the member's image and something about "diva behavior" or that the same member was a huge bully towards the others (and annoyingly enough, all of them kept pointing to both Jin and Jimin for some strange reason). But as we've seen, 2019 came and practically went and BTS are still together, still thriving. Maybe one or two "dating rumors" here and there during their "time off" that died in a span of 1 month or so and everyone went on with their lives because it was found to be the product of antis wanting to start shit because everybody wants a BTS scandal (and of course, close to AWARD SEASON *LE GASP*).  So now those same "psychics" are correcting themselves and making up excuses that "they didn't have all the info" or "misunderstood it when they first got it". đđ Note: I found it both hilarious and ignorant how the great majority of them are using the "members will start to leave one by one" as a sign of the group disbanding, when we know that starting next year they'll start enlisting in the military which is MANDATORY FOR ALL MEN IN KOREA. Meaning that all Male Korean Idols go through this process and DOES NOT necessarily mean imminent disbandment.
đđđ Extra: Oh yeah, can't forget that one account who said that all Kpop groups are part of the illuminati and theyâre using some MK-Ultra shit on the fans through their music which is why fans all over the world now like Kpop and made it famous. Can't forget about those or someone will fight me. (The person deleted their channel too)
#3. Tumblr Kpop Predictions
*SIGH* .... where to start with this one....?
The group in this category is a strange hybrid between Twitter, Youtube and Wattpad/AO3. 'Cause i swear that some of the stuff I've read in a few of these account posts. while browsing for BTS. look like they were taken straight out of a super Angsty, Slow Burn, Hurt/Comfort, Soulmate AU, 30 chapters summarized into a oneshot fic. So you'll be either heavily disturbed or highly entertained at how creative the person is with their "reading". Like there was this one person who alleged that Jimin had been a woman in like 3 of his past lives, but was always involved in very abusive relationships (in 1 of said lives his/her father had r*ped him/her and Jimin gave birth to a daughter and when the daughter grew up they both fell in love with the same man. And the daughter ends up killing Jimin to keep the man for herself LOL what kind of twisted A/B/O shit is this?!) and apparently its...affecting him in the present with how he treats others? And like... the only way for him to "break the cycle" is by "making peace" with his past selves? Or else he'll keep repeating it?
(y'know...like The Avatar).
This same person also said that the Maknae Line have a beef with the Hyung Line. And that Jimin was gonna kill himself this year or when BTS disbands next year, cause without the group he was useless/talent-less and it didnt matter if he did solo projects cause they wouldn't be as famous as the other members, plus his supposed "girlfriend" would leave him at the same time which is why he'll kill himself. Like....BITCH, WHICH IS IT? Do you want him to make peace with himself and live a long healthy life or do you want him dead?? MAKE UP YOUR MIND! Or better yet, just say you're a Jimin anti and go (cause she didnt have any probs with the other members, always targeted Jimin). Although there ARE exceptions, like another user who told this past-lives reading on how they all used to be 1 person who died and their soul got divided into 7, and the 7 of them always managed to find one another on each and every one of the lives they've lived through (like the HEARTBEAT mv). That one was nice.
In Conclusion....
I just feel bad because of how ignorant and gullible the Kpop fandom in general has become in the past years (Especially the newer fans who donât understand how Korean culture works, much less the Korean Entertainment Industry). To the point of giving these people clout when in reality theyâre just taking advantage of them because they know how thirsty and obsessed some fans can get in their need to know MORE about the artists/group they stan. april favorites.
music.
awaken by nct 127. this japanese debut slayed my existence and i have not awaited a full length album like i did this one. seriously as soon as i heard the clips i was dying waiting for the song âlipsâ and âkitchen beatâ. it did not disappoint!Â
crying over you (feat. RM & BEKA) by honne. this track is insane and i would like to thank namjoon for always introducing us to great artists and talented humans.
NCT LIVE. a blessing an absolute blessings these crazy talented beautiful men. i had the opportunity to go to miami and see their beautiful faces live, and can i just say they are incredible. i 100 out of 10 would recommend. seeing these beauties in person. their talent and hilarious nature will seriously blow you away.Â
miroh by stray kids. dang these precious beans never disappoint! this song is a total bop and i love it.Â
map of the soul: persona by bts. dang these boys never disappoint. every single comeback, all of the tracks are absolute bops. seriously. i cannot deal with how insanely proud i am of these men and their hard work and effort they pour into everything they do. i love them mom. i loved the halsey collaboration, and their performance at the BBMAs was everything. i love this friendship. i also love the collaboration with ed sheehan for insanely amazing bop âmake it rightâ. like this song is on repeat all day, every day. âmikrokosmosâ live versions really just put me in my feels. every song is a bop and no one can tell me otherwise. happy listening fellow army!
dramas & movies. *spoilers alert*
the dude in me/inside me. a film with jin-young. i saw this pop up and immediately needed to watch it because jin-young of course! i was not disappointed. it had an interesting concept and i absolutely loved it in its entirety. i appreciated both storylines, and how everything wrapped up nicely at the conclusion. there were hilarious moments, as well as moments that were tender hearted. it took me forever to realize that the teen was actually jin-young but with prothstetics on! crazy good makeup artists! i would rate it a 9 out of 10. some memorable moments of mention:
- when he was able to stand up for himself and end up protecting the other students that were being bullied in the process. how he started wanted to protect himself but grew to protect those around him.
- when mi-sun came out from the kitchen with the gas and the match to protect pan-so and confessed how she actually felt all this time! like for real, and iâm like they better switch back bodies bc that would be oh so unfortunate.Â
- i about died laughing when hyun-jung confessed to pan-so as dong-hyun and how he reacted. it was hilarious.
- the nice ending. like seriously pan-so got out of the gang. mi-sun and pan-so end up reconnecting after all those years. and of course our dong-hyun ended up with hyun-hung TT

splash splash love. this was such a good two part show! i loved the aspect of the historical drama. quite reminded me of âmoonlight drawn by starsâ without as many of the complications. it was nice and light hearted. i loved how they incorporated the little endings with all the characters, and how they ended up meeting in the present day! i would seriously watch this one over and over again! i would give it a 10 out of 10.Â
my first first love. a lighthearted quick drama to watch, absorb, and then hang on and cling to once it is finished. so many questions unanswered. this very well could and should have been a full length release of 16 episodes but no its only 8. and let me tell you it did not satisfy my jisoo and jinyoung needs. for sure i love both of these talented men, but seriously this was made out to be jisooâs drama to end all and finally be the the freaking first male lead! i clung so hard to this but freaking jinyoung got the the girl. like for real that is not what i expected. for sure it was cute but lets be real for a second it is destiny for tae-oh and song yi to be together move over do-hyun. i loved that every character was followed and was dynamic. i am expectant to see what they do with all the characters but i love all of them. except se-hyun like she is using our boo for her own personal gain and that is not okay
persona. i was seriously excited when i heard that IU would have her own netflix series. and this was something unexpected. a unique concept for sure. 4 part unrelated episodes with various storylines. each with its own quirks, darkness, and twisted perspective. truly this is not something i would typically watch and truthfully its probably not something i would watch again. it was super short so thatâs probably why i finished it. but probably would only rate it a 3 out of 10, but the cinematography and acting was insane, just not my taste.Â
the expiration date of you and me. KBS drama special. this was a cute short watch. i enjoyed how we bounced from present to past and how the end was allusive but light. i appreciate how the girl who had a crush on our main actor ended up with his friend. and how neither of them had found love yet at the end. it was cute and i would 8 out of 10 recommend.

Weekend Football
Welcome to my first blog. Iâve chosen an incredibly original subject to write about, that being menâs association football, seeing as nobody ever talks about it and itâs seldom seen on TV.
However, despite this, I am going to try and look at it from a different angle including TV coverage. Iâd like to use the word âirreverentâ, but this just reminds me of an irritating, try-hard âcomedianâ whoâs just got his (or her) own vacuous show on some late-night slot on BB3 (RIP) or ITV2.
A little about the author. Iâm a cantankerous, cynical sports fan, born in the 80s, a misty-eyed romantic, harking back to âthe good old daysâ of football in the 90s, when players like Shearer, Gazza, Baggio and Weah were my heroes. When social media and being âwokeâ wasnât a thing; players werenât trying to make side careers in broadcasting, making clothes, giving themselves nicknames like âJ.Lingzâ or being cool and looked like the supporters on the terraces.
And so, as youâre losing the will to live, onto the football. The weekend started (for me, at least) with the lunchtime kick off at the Olympic Stadium for West Ham vs. Tottenham. Of course, all the talk was about Joseâs return, and Iâve a feeling he took the Spurs job simply because the first game was the welcoming prospect of facing West Ham; like returning from holiday and getting a hug off your mum, this was as nice a comeback as is possible.
The downside of the lunchtime kick-off is that weâre forced to watch the game on BT Sport. From the annoying, smarminess of the presenter Jake Humphries, a man whoâd probably show you his bank balance on a night out, to the twee, cockney geezer analysis of Joe Cole. How appropriate that this match featured the âAmmers, because the latter always reminds me of a member of Albert Square.
The game itself was as underwhelming as Joeâs hairline, with West Ham playing up to their âmumsyâ role and allowing a Spurs team with only one away Prem win in the last 12 months to romp into a 3-0 lead, before showing some sort of commitment and getting a couple of late goals back. In truth, 3-2 flattered West Ham, who were so bad in the opening 45 minutes, that it prompted the pundits to laud Dele Alli, who is now apparently âbackâ, a conclusion that was drawn primarily from one on-the-floor back flick to Son which brought about the second goal, and not much else in the way of hard evidence.
Accordingly, Mourinho had a part to play with a fantastic bit of man management in which he supposedly asked âDeleâ if he was the real person, or if itâd been his brother playing for the past year. With insight like this, why is âThe Special Oneâ (I hate that nickname, so please read it with the highest level of cynicism humanly possible) wasting his time managing Tottenham and not involved in the Brexit negotiations or middle east peace negotiations? It baffles me.
Fast forward past Gillette Soccer Saturday, which is now becoming trite given that Charlie Nicholas and Phil Thompson are still on our TVs every week. With a similar, baffling level of ubiquity, theyâre like a football version of Ant & Dec, but without any of the wit, charm or entertainment value. Nicholas still thinks heâs living in the 80s with his poncey haircut and daft earring, and Thommo is just annoying, spitting out heavy clichĂ©s with his guttural scouse accent for six hours each and every grinding Saturday afternoon.
Saturday tea-time brings us the delights of crisis club (again, find that sarcasm level and ramp it up to 11) Man City at home to Chelsea, who, as many before me have remarked, have become weirdly likeable. I guess when John Terry isnât involved with a club, they immediately become 1,000 times more affable and it feels acceptable to not hate them.
The game itself was dull, with not much to talk about except the disallowing of Raheem Sterlingâs goal because his armpit was offside. Thank God for VAR, otherwise the heinous, egregious error to award Sterling that goal would've stood. What a time to be alive and how grateful we should all be that this fantastic piece of technology has been brought in to 100% improve the world's greatest sport. Truly joyous. As is probably obvious, I hate, hate, HATE VAR. Itâs sucking the life out of football, with its sanitation and cleansing of passion. Iâd rather see 100 incorrect decisions per season that be forced to spend five minutes watching the fun police disallowing a goal because a strikerâs pubic hair is beyond that of the last defender.
Talking of fun police, in the studio are Roy Keane and Jamie Redknapp, a couple of pundits whose opinions are polar opposite in terms of validity. Keano could tell me that Primark made the worldâs best garments, and Iâd believe him. On the other hand, Redknapp would, for me, struggle to sell water to a man dying of thirst. He should be put out to pasture now, free to pursue his interests, which no doubt include heading into town after the match to see how young a woman he can pull (to be clear here, Iâm not suggesting heâs the new Adam Johnson, just more that heâs probably a bit of an old sleazebag) and trying on as much aftershave as possible.
Saturday ends with Match of the Day, which is still the only way to watch Premier League highlights. If you donât enjoy watching and listening to the obvious dad jokes of Lineker, then youâre probably someone who votes for the Brexit party and canât see past your right-wing views. On the other side of that weird, low table they have are Danny Murphy and Alan Shearer.
Murphy, for me, always looks like heâs just stepped out of Burtonâs menswear but is annoyed at himself for once more going back in after being disappointed with his previous purchases. I heard a BBC commentator/presenter once say that Murphy is âhilarious and great companyâ. That same commentator also spent some time in a correctional facility in the early 2000s, so his gauge of fun and good company might be somewhat skewed. Shearer is Shearer. As a Blackburn fan, I wonât say a bad word against him, and his punditry has drastically improved over the years, but he does have a habit of, have a habit of repeating himself, which is his idiosyncrasy that I find quite endearing.
As Iâm writing this, Sheffield United are playing Man United. In the studio, Graeme Souness and Brian Deane are both dressed like country gents who are about to go shooting pheasants and grouse at Sandringham (with Prince Andrew and Jamie Redknapp, perhaps?), and on the field, another Blackburn connection is Phil Jones, the gift that keeps on giving, handing the Blades the lead with a fantastic piece of misjudgement that allowed the striker Lys Mousset the opportunity to pull the ball back and give his team the lead. The final 25 minutes was chaos, with two mid-table sides scrapping it out to a 3-3 draw with awful defending getting the assists.
Thatâs all I can muster this week. If you managed it, congratulations on getting to the end. What will football bring us next week? I can hardly contain my excitement at the prospect.

BTS Scenario 2.2.: You need distance
****************************************************
Scenario
You and them are in a committed relationship, but for some reason you confront them about needing space and / or reconsidering your relationship. Â
angst, fluff, just a teeny tiny bit of smut
****************************************************
Min Yoongi / SugaÂ
You had been quietly sitting by Yoongis side in his studio for hours already, and he had barely spared you a glance, preoccupied with producing a new track, only giving vague replies, if any at all, whenever you actually dared to talk to him. It had been like this for weeks, and even though you gladly came by now and then to provide him with healthy home cooked meals and snacks and make sure he ate, and loved watching him work, you needed more than this. You missed him. And couldn't shake the feeling that you needed him more than he did you.Â
Actually, you had come here today with the intention of confronting Yoongi about his lack of affection and involvement recently, but couldn't bring yourself to speak up.Â
Now, that you have finally gathered all your courage, you noisily get up from the sofa and clear your throat to get his attention. He doesn't turn around, but you can see his brows contract in annoyance. âWould you mind keeping it down? Iâm trying to work here. Seriously.â His sharp words sting like needles. Youâre close to tears now, as you let your eyes wander over his hunched figure, wanting to touch him, to feel him, but paralyzed, too afraid of being pushed away again like you were so many times before. âIâm going to leave now, Yoongi.â He shows no reaction. You canât even tell if he heard you. âAnd Iâm not coming back tomorrowâ, you continue. âOr the day after tomorrow or the day after that.â Silence. Your hands clench around the fabric of your sleeves as you desperately try to keep your voice from shaking while finally saying out loud what you had been silently rehearsing in your imagination for hours now: âI think we should take a break, Yoongi. I don't know if I can do this anymore. This is not a relationship. Hell, Iâm not even sure anymore if this is love. Well, whatever the fuck it is, Iâm out. Maybe just for now, probably for good, Iâll see.â Yoongi remains motionless, doesn't even lift his gaze from the computer screen. You feel as if youâre choking on his silence, suddenly unable to breath, nausea quickly rising up your throat. Without another word you turn around and leave, closing the door behind you, forcing yourself to mask your anger and walk away slowly, steadily. The last thing you want right now is for him to know how hurt and upset you really are, especially since your words and their meaning didn't seem to have any effect on him at all. Of course not. Since you obviously were the only one of you truly invested in this relationship from the very beginning, itâs only logical youâre also the only one being affected by its brutal ending. You can't help but smile bitterly at your conclusion. You quickly leave the building, almost running near the end, partly hoping and partly afraid that Yoongi would follow you. But, as expected, he doesnât. Out of breath, you sink to the wall next to the exit, wiping tears from your face, angry at yourself for being a cry baby. Years ago you had sworn to yourself that you would never let a man make you cry again. But lying to Yoongi like that, telling him you weren't sure if you loved him anymore, was simply too much for you to take, since the only damn thing in your life you are utterly sure of is the simple fact that you will always, always, love the man that is Min Yoongi. Nothing could ever change your feelings for him, not even his cold behavior towards you. You had been lost ever since he had first allowed you a glance at his beautiful soul. And thatâs what makes walking away right now by far the hardest task youâve ever had to accomplish. But you keep going, setting one foot in front of the other, your insides forming an ice-cold knot under your heart. But you keep going, fighting the pain and the urge to turn back with every step you take. Yoongi obviously made up his mind. He didn't even try to convince you to stay, so there is really no choice but to accept his decision, you tell yourself repeatedly, trying your best to make your aching heart understand, while you keep walking, headphones on, blasting loud music, a pitch-black numbness slowly expanding in your chest. Only at nightfall you realize that, in your daze, you had kept on walking aimlessly throughout the whole afternoon. Tired and shivering from the cold you somehow make your way home. As you approach your building and take out the keys to the main entrance, you spot a dark, hooded figure leaning against the door. Fear gets a grip on you for a second, instantly sending a rush of adrenaline through your veins, before you recognize the familiar frame and freeze on the spot. Hesitantly, he takes a step out of the shadows towards you, revealing his face. You can't help but notice the red circles underneath his deep, black eyes. âMin Yoongiâ, you greet him, trying hard to keep your tone indifferent. âI didn't expect to see you here. Or to see you again at all, for that matter.â Obviously anxious, he shifts from one foot to another, his eyes cast down, hands buried in the pockets of his oversized sweatshirt. âWhat is it, Yoongi? What do you want?â You hate being so harsh, especially with him apparently being in such a vulnerable state. But you know from experience that itâs the only way to draw him out. âSpeak now or leave. Seriously, Yoongi, Iâm tired of your bullshit. Iâm just so fucking tired!â You can feel tears welling up in your eyes. âDo you understand? Iâm tired. Tired of talking to the walls you built around yourself. Tired of missing you, when youâre right next to me. Tired of fighting for us all by myself.â Now, finally, he lifts his gaze, finding yours. The expression in his eyes takes your breath away. Never before have you seen so much hurt, sorrow, fear, love and remorse congregated in one single look. It seems to you as if, in this moment, the whole of the universe rests in his eyes, in all its tragic beauty. âWhy didn't you hold me back?â, you ask, your voice cracking. âWhy didn't you say anything?â âI simply couldnâtâ, he replies, shaking his head, shrugging his shoulders helplessly. âI was like ⊠in shock or something. I swear to you, it took me at least half a minute before I could even breathe again. I don't know what the fuck you do to me, but I don't want it to stop. I didn't want you to leave then, and I don't want you to leave now.â Yoongi takes another step towards you, cupping your face with his hands, leaning in. By now he's close enough for you to feel his heavy breath on your lips. âI want you, y/n. No, I need you. I never intended to hurt you, I hope you know that. Itâs just ⊠I love you too fucking much. It scares the shit out of me, okay!? I donât know how to do this. My instincts tell me to protect myself, to keep you at a distance, to push you away. But I donât want that. I wonât give in to them anymore. From now on Iâll fight for you, for us, with everything Iâve got, alright? I will never ever let you go again, y/n. I swear.â His gaze still fixed to yours he leans in for a deep, longing kiss you return without hesitation. It lasts for what feels like an eternity, growing increasingly passionate and lustful, your hands buried in his hair, his on your neck and slowly wandering down your back. The both of you are so lost in each other, you forget youâre still standing in the middle of the street, until youâre painfully made aware of that fact by a couple of drunkards passing by, cheering you on. Instinctively you separate, laughing awkwardly. Still catching your breath you straighten your crinkled shirt, while Yoongi watches you, his eyes dark with passion.Â
You know all to well what that look means.
Grinning mischievously he takes you by the hand and pulls you close again. âWhat do you say, y/n, shall we take this to your bedroom?â, he whispers at your ear, his husky voice sending shivers through your body.

An objective, uninfluenced review and discussion of TLJ after just leaving the theatre- mileage may vary
THIS SPOILER-FILLED REVIEW IS UNDER A CUT. IF YOU SEE A TON OF TEXT AND NO CUT, SCROLL LIKE HELL.Â
OK, so, some initial take-aways:
-This was a really busy movie
-I feel like they crammed three films into one and I'm not sure how I feel about that.
-This did not have the standard feel of a star wars film and I'm not sure how I feel about that.
-Too much comedy. Sorry. It was a bit much and ruined the mood in a lot of places imo.
-Holy shit, that was the hottest, most sexualized hands-touching I have ever seen in my life
-My life literally flashed before my eyes when Finn went to kamikaze. They had him get so close to the end, and that tearâ jesus fuck I genuinely thought that was going to be the end and I was a mess. God bless you, Rose.
-My life literally flashed before my eyes when Leia was ejected from the ship- they had me going thinking this was how she was gonna go. The force flying was hokey as shit, but you know what? Fuck it. Carrie Fisher can cheat death and fly- it's fucking canon now. Deal with it.
-The music did not blow me away on TLJ as it did in TFA. Most likely because the movie was so damn busy.
-Too many climaxes. Yes, there is such a thing. I was worn out by the end of this film and there was no real catharsis at all because of it.
-I don't know how the fuck they're going to do 9 without Carrie after that ending. WellâŠI do have one idea, but I kinda hate it.
The Meat:
The scroll this film was interesting, in that its last sentence broke the mold of previous star wars crawls- that was my clue right off the bat that this would not be following the standard 'feel', for lack of a better word, of star wars films. Honestly, I don't expect the off-shoot movies like 'Rogue One' to follow whatever standard 1-7 do, but like I expect it from the main series, and like I said at the beginning, I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it yet. At the moment I'm a little disappointed that it deviated so much, but we got so many juicy tidbits and moments to have and to hold that that's kind of outweighing the minor point of format. So, I'll be seeing the film a few more times in various formats before coming to a hard conclusion on this.
AnywayâŠ
HAHA POE GOT SLAPPED! THE SLAP HAPPENED! And it was pretty underwhelming honestly. And then out of nowhere Leia's all charm and kindness again? That really made the whole moment meaningless to me. Like she was never mad enough to slap him to begin with, so why? The moment was ruined by Leia's sharp U-turn and that sucked. They had a real opportunity to bring home just how severe and serious Leia's despair over so much loss has been, but the really watered it down every time, usually with comedy.
There was too much comedy in this film. I get maybe they were trying to lighten it up for the kiddos, but they did it in alllll the wrong places. It really botched the mood of the film repeatedly. The timing was just terrible. I mean right off the bat- sure, Poe's exchange with Hux was hilarious, but man it did not need to be in there. At least not first thing in the film when you're trying to set the tone. What a waste on all ends. That part really frustrated me.
I'm surprised at how soon Kylo bashed his helmet to pieces. That was really soon. Sadly the shock of it just wasn't there for me since I'd seen the trailers, but whatever. It was still a great moment done by Adam exceptionally well.
Mark Hamill was A+++ in this film. Everything about him was great. Absolutely stellar. While TLJ was mass confusion, Luke Skywalker stayed consistent and made linear sense throughout- the only exception being the very end. WhyâŠ.why did he die again? I'm seriously confused? He looked pained, and I kept waiting for the camera to pan down to explain what was going on- did he actually have a giant saber hole in him from Ben or something? But no- he just flounders on a rock for a bit and then kicks it. I still just do not understand. I don't understand it at all. Also, Rian promised us some big compelling monologue from Luke that would be oscar-worthy and it wasn't there. Where was the monologue? Three sentences strung together do not a monologue make. Sorry, kids. I think Mark did a stellar job, as I said, and they've put him up for an oscar nom, but honestlyâŠ.I don't think it was oscar-worthy simply because there wasn't enough there due to the over-taxed storyline, and if he does get one, it's gonna be earned out of sentiment more than anything, whichâŠ.I mean, an oscar is an oscar, but still. You know? Also, we had stills and BTS footage of Luke down in that dark side hole with Rey and we never saw that. I hope Rian releases his director's cut so we get those scenes back- otherwise there's a good chance we'll get them in the novel or something.
Canto Bight was super unnecessary. What an unnecessary, overly-busy, budget-draining side romp. Maz was unnecessary. The whole 'let's get the codes' thing was unnecessary, although Benicio del Toro stole the fucking show with his character- that dude was great, and we'll definitely be seeing him again in 9. He's clearly going to be the side-character replacement for Phasma (RIP gurl). Canto Bight achieved only two things: 1. The FinnRose romance. 2. The stable kids, or at least one of them, has the force. Yep! That kid at the end- when he reaches for the broom, the broom jumps into his fucking hand, y'all. That kid has the force. The force is clearly back with a vengeance in the young babies of the galaxy. And that was it. I feel like they could have achieved both those things in better, more meaningful ways. But no, they wanted to do a casino(?) bit that will likely never be heard of again except in extended merchandising because fuck disney's money-grubbing ways. Oh, I DID like DJ's 'Rogue One' call-back reminder about how literally both sides of this war suck and everyone's trash, especially the warlords growing fat off the profits in the middle. I appreciated that bit. It was also a nice social commentary for a young audience that will hopefully stick with them. It was a cool moment that del Toro played beautifully.
Two words: PORG BABIES. Also, is Chewie vegetarian now? xD I don't think a whole colony of porgs should have come along in the falcon- that was a bit much. Again, comedy in places it didn't need to be. Whatever. Moving on.
Laura Dern's character dying was a waste, but you know what? That move she did was fucking brutal. It was amazing. It reminded me of 'Farscape' 's wormhole-popping maneuver immediately, plus extreme bonus damage. Just a beautiful sight.
Rose was great- Kelly Marie Tran knocked that shit out of the park. Laughs, tears, she ran the fucking gamut. I know we were all expecting more from her character's sister, but I guess it was the necessary setup to give her the impetus to go take risks. No complaints at all about Rose- I thought she was lovely.
Wow did Poe get a lot of screen time. He got a lot of screen time. I feel like Poe maybe learned some shit, but I honestly don't feel like Finn learned a whole lot which was disappointing. Even on Canto Bight he was like 'No, we're not doing this! Stop enjoying it!' Growth for him would be to start letting loose a bit, and he just doesn't. I also feel like we were deprived of a closing moment with him at the end of the film- we just get the tender moment with him and Rose, which was sweet, but it felt unfinished. I felt like Finn was more along for the ride in this film than actively moving it, and again I think that's the fault of this film being too damn busy and there not being enough time for things to go smoothly, linearly, and in ways that flowed naturally. There just wasn't time for it, clearly, and so character development suffered- unless you're Poe. Because damn Poe got a lot of screen time.
I felt like we should have spent more time on the salt planet. That felt like another over-done thing that, while the location was necessary, was it necessary to make it so busy? As I write this, I think I'm starting to realize that the backdrops are what have really distracted from the story. The backdrops haven't aided the story at all- they've just severely diverted attention from what's important- i.e. the struggles both literal and emotional happening to our characters. The casino was a riotous mess, visually stunning but constantly pulling my attention away from what was going on. The salt planet had tons of unique features but it didn't serve any purpose to the film. None of these backdrops serviced the story, and I think that's a HUGE problem. With an already busy, intricate web of storylines to keep up with, having all these non-contributing, busy-in-their-own-right backdrops just made it even harder to keep up and stay focused on what was going on. You don't leave the theatre feeling like all the threads came together in the end. You leave the theatre going "Well that was coolâŠbut I feel like I've missed something", because you probably have. Here: YOUR BACKDROP SHOULD NOT BE COMPETING WITH YOUR STORY. Ok, I said it.
Snoke made some comments about Hux that were interesting and then promptly never talked about again. Why's that? Because there was no time. Pity. Anyway, the bit about him being easily manipulated because of his personal issues was great, and I was hoping we'd get to see more of that struggle with Hux, more of that fatal flaw at play- his daddy issues, insecurities about acceptance, etc., but it never came. Instead Hux was wasted on comedic moments. Oh how the mighty have fallen. Once again, unnecessary comedy fucking ruins the mood of this film.
Snoke's demise was shocking but also anti-climactic. They pulled all the power from him in one fell swoop and took this amazingly built-up character, this character that had SUCH cool potential, and Rian just threw it in the trash. I'm pretty disappointed. Actually, I'm really disappointed. No wonder Pablo was so disinterested in Snoke questions- Snoke was made ultimately irrelevant as a character. While the psychological effects of Snoke will continue to be a MAJOR issue, killing him was wasted potential, and now Benâs lifelong struggle with this creature has been belittled and minimized because of it. That is terrible.
So now we get to the juicy bits- Rey and Ben.
We didn't get to see Rey hardly at all in this film. ThatâŠ.fucking sucked. Poe got more screen time than Rey. Fuck you, Poe. I'm pissed off about this. The only moving, worthwhile moments Rey had were opposite Ben. And boy did Daisy and Adam make the most of very limited screen time. Force Bond ahoy, y'all! We called it and it exists! However, it was really crazy abrupt. There was no lead-up of voices, of the connection establishing itself. One tiny teaser of it would have been enough, but no- suddenly it's just THERE, and the music and sound cuts, and if you weren't us and expecting this kind of force bond communication we've all been writing about prolifically for two years, I'm sure you were like "What the fuck- this is out of left field", because it was. Story-wise, it was. And that's disappointing. You want to see something you love executed well, and while you love and I love the connection, it wasn't executed well. It could have been done better. Again, any kind of hinted lead-up- since it was a surprise for both of them, maybe like a whisper of his voice calling to her in surprise? Or something. Instead we get them both right away, which was a bit blunt. I think it could have used with a bit of finessing. Oh well.
From a story analysis standpoint, I think Snoke's claim that he personally established the connection between them is bullshit. I think he was talking out of his ass, frankly. I think him claiming he forged the bond was back-peddling to try and continue to related all roads back to himself because while he certainly played the all-powerful omnipotence card, he clearly knew he wasn't and worked actively to maintain his illusion to keep Ben in check. But it was all a farce, as we could see, and even Ben knew where all the cracks in Snoke's observational skills were. He didn't really have 24/7 Ben TV. When Ben played him like a goddamn fiddle with that sneak attack, Ben showed that he could cloak and twist his intent in front of Snoke's face all day if he's focused enough, and felt he had enough purpose. He certainly did feel Ben becoming resolved alright. He felt him begin to prepare his saber. But how limited he was in what he could see! How limited, whereas Rey on the other handâŠ.oh, he and Rey have something so much more than Snoke's clearly tenuous hold. Ben was only under the yoke as much as he wanted to be, and that realization is very much a doubled-edged sword. On the one hand, it meant he could find the strength to break free when he found a new purpose in Rey. But on the other, it also means he could have peaced out whenever he wanted and taken the FO with him but clearly he chose not to, which is awful and frustrating. But you know? When you wake up to your uncle looking like he's about to kill you in your goddamned sleep after you've spent years arguing against that sort of thing with the voices insisting your uncle will actually kill you, and suddenly the voices are right and your world is fucking shattered? When the voices become the only viable option in your life? I can get that. I may not agree with it, but I get it. And that's plenty.
Also, can we talk about the story of the school's destruction? So Kylo DID leave with some of the students. Let's make an educated guess and say they are the other Knights of Ren. Nice predicting, y'all. I'm sure they'll become major players in 9 as Kylo attempts to step into his role as supreme leader- while Snoke had the red guard, Kylo will have his knights. Cool. Very cool.
To back-track a little, I enjoyed the force chats between Rey and Ben a lot. I feel like more of them happened that we weren't shown. Even as Rey was recounting her brush with the dark side cave, you can tell she'd already been telling the story for a long while and he'd spent a long while listening. But again, with little finessing with all this, for those not expecting reylo the care they begin to have for each other seems really abrupt. Sorry, general audience- I wish it could have been better, too. But let's take what we can get, shall we? Kylo debases himself in front of Rey- admits he's a monster and then cries about it. I love it. Then he gives her the answer she wants in the form of advice, which was a fantastic bit of writing. After that, she inexplicably mellows out to him quite a bit and there's storytime in the stone house, the exceptionally warm lighting, as their hands achingly, hesitatingly touch- an insane amount of effortlessness in making yourself physical in a force-induced manifestation that, for Ben and Rey, resulted in the sexiest finger-touching I've ever seen, and for Luke became such a strain that it killed him. Powerful in the force are these two, indeed. I can't get over how warm that lighting was- literal love by firelight. And thenâŠ.and then Rey cried it felt so good. And so did Ben. And when Rey recounts what she saw of his future in the elevator when their hands touched, she does this sweet look down at his chest before looking back with care into his faceâŠI was feeling it so hard, man. That is a loving gesture. *I* have acted that way with someone I love. That's a tic that only belongs to lovers, not friends. What kind of 'solid' future did she see for him? With that kind of tic, it makes me wonder if she hadn't seen herself in it, too. Goddammit, ben! Get your shit together, boy!
Rey's lack of social skills, however, really fucking botched things between them, too. Surely there had to be a better way to reason with him than pulling out a goddamned saber. Bad move, sweetheart. And in one fell swoop you broke that man's heart. Everything after Rey's rejection was just bleeding-heart Kylo vomiting his emotions all over the place. I mean he was seriously torn up about it. And what about Rey running off? How come we didn't get that scene? Did she just straight-up split? Or did she stop for a moment to look at Kylo's unconscious, likely peaceful, face? I'm mad we didn't get to see it because it would have said a lot- instead once Rey rejoins the resistance, we get a TON more relationship-dodging. A TON of dodging. Because you know what? The relationship is there, man. Finn's got his gal, and Rey looks on acceptingly at this turn of events. Kylo and Rey have experienced a lot of emotional stuff together at this point- he's the only one that shares her secret about her parents. But you'd never know anything at all had happened to her at the end of the film. It's just business as usual. And that's really weird to me. That's not character growth. A bit of longing there, for what Rey almost, almost, let herself have with Kylo reflected in Finn and Rose's moment, but no- just plain old start-of-tfa Rey apparently. I meanâŠ.Rey didn't even ask him about his scar. He never brought up his scar. Was that a scene that got cut? Because how do you avoid that conversation? How do you avoid that? OH! The fight scene- and where she rolls her back onto his back to fight the red guard I WAS LIVING! It was so good, and they kept checking on each other during the fight. I loved it.
I've just been reminded of the shirtless scene- it didn't come off naturally, but I get that they're trying to establish that the bond is manifesting at 'inconvenient' moments, ok whatever. And then Rey goes and spoils the moment with more unnecessary comedy schtick which rolled off Adam beautifully- thank you, Adam. She totally checked him out, though. Maybe she was reliving that moment a little in the elevator when she looked down at his chest. Makes me wonder again just what exactly she saw in his future. I'm here for it.
Why did Rey fucking sail to the FO in a coffin? That made no sense. Although it was cute that Ben came to pick her up like "Hi." but then "Here are some shackles. Sorrynotsorry." I love how she was clearly expecting something else but NOPE.
Also, Rey really does come from nothing, although I don't fucking know how her parents can be in a potter's field in Jakku when Rey last saw them sail off into space. Sounds like hasty writing after being fed up with fans to me. Although Adam rattled it all off beautifully. And I love how Ben loves her regardless of it all. I loved the whole "You knew this the whole time so who cares because I don't? PS: come be my empress, it'll be great." Adam did so well in this film, but I can't help but think, like every fucking thing else, that his screen time was radically choked and that there's TONS more on the cutting room floor that give his acting more of the credit it's due and that flesh out so many more things to help them make more sense. Ugh.
In conclusion. I liked it. I cried when Leia's old holo projection played. I cried like a bitch. But I didn't leave the film feeling like my mind was blown like it'd been with TFA. I don't know if it's because I just felt overwhelmed in more of a bad way than good due to how busy everything was or if it's because I've been analyzing stuff for two years. It's probably a bit of both. Because I avoided the spoilers like the plague, you know? So everything was still new and a surprise, and while I think the film was a total trip that I'd recommend, TFA just felt cleaner, more impactful, and left enough space for all its characters to fully realize themselves instead of the cram-fest that this movie is. And most importantly, TLJ didn't leave enough space for John Williams to create any stand-out moments like in TFA- "The Starkiller" is a piece that gave me fucking goosebumps and that, to this day, will be one of my favorite moments in movie history. To choose a quiet dirge piece for a moment of bloody chaos was absolutely brilliant and shook me to the core, but there was no time for a moment like that in this film and that really bums me out. I was hoping for another moving experience like that.
Reylo's a thing now, but the kids have a lot of work to do on their relationship, because Kylo's in full spurned-lover mode and he's not handling it well. He's now a kid who's been handed all the power in the universe, and if Rey thinks that's not going to backfire, especially with their direct phone line to each other, she's got another thing coming. She's going to have her hands full trying to talk that boy down, and any next encounter between them is going to be incredibly tense and fraught with emotion. He finally outrightly pleaded with her to be with him. And that fucking means something. And Rey's not dimwitted enough not to see that. She knows the implications. She saw his good-ending future, remember- one that, as she recalled it, her eyes drifted to his chest in a very, very affectionate move that was well played by Daisy. In fact, I was so focused on Daisy's performance in that moment that I missed Kylo's reaction so when I see the film again, I'll have to remember to focus on him next time.
And LeiaâŠ.Carrie was right that 9 was supposed to be Leia's film. I meanâŠthat ending makes it indisputable. How do you work through that? Especially with Luke copping out? Essentially my prediction for what's going to happen is this: Lots, and lots, of Ghost Uncle Luke times. It's the only option they have. Luke's gonna come back, haunt the shit out of Ben and give him terrible girl advice, and then visit Rey and try to teach her some more. It's the only option they have, really. Mark thought he was finally done, but then Carrie just had to go and die- isn't that just typical. I also love how Billie plays such a bigger role in this film. Her performance was great, too, and there were moments where she really sounded like a young Leia that had me tearing up. I love them all so much.
So that's all I got for this initial objective general review of The Last Jedi. I plan to see this film at least once more in standard 2D (my preferred mode), and also in 4DX because why would you not want to be on Star Wars: The Ride for 2.5 hours? It's worth the ticket price. Plus seeing these films in 3D adds a whole new perspective to things, I discovered after seeing 3D TFA. So I'm open to that, too. I had a lot of technical complaints with this film, but otherwise I like the direction it went in, it was a direction I anticipated (minus snoke being wasted as a character- that still sucks), and I'd say as a shipper we got a good 75% of what we wanted. As a shipper, I'd say full steam ahead for the good boat Reylo and I look forward to a hopefully grittier, more distraught atmosphere to really bring shit home in 9. JJ Abrams gave us a very, very solid, coherent story for 7, and I look forward to having that back again for the grand finale. These characters deserve coherency. I love Rian, but he tried to cram too much in too small a space and lot really suffered for it- this was a problem Rogue One had that I hoped wouldn't repeat itself, but here we are. But even Rogue One navigated its complicated story better than TLJ did, I think. I don't know. Again, I need to see this film a few more times before I can really throw the gavel down. But now that this objective review is out, I'm happy to go back to putting my shipper glasses on and appreciating what we do have: Hot hand touches, shirtless Ben Solo, Rey saying 'Ben', Ben saying 'Rey', both of them crying over each other, both of them ogling each other, and the category of Emperor Ren fiction absolutely fucking exploding (and laughing maniacally that my own 'Exigence in force majeure' is now fucking canon-compliant can you believe this shit what is life).
Ok- enjoy the film, friends! TATFS out. PS: Oh yeah, haha, the jedi books were saved- ok. Also, I would love to get my hands on a directorâs cut and all the deleted scenes so that I could try my hand at cutting my own version of this film- eliminate or better time 90% of the comedic bits and create a film thatâs really darkly compelling and profound. Ok, Iâm really gone this time bye.

Note: Here is the last part for this. FINALLY! I know this has been in my inbox for so long and I started writing this but then I lacked creativity and since then it`s just been stuck in my drafts folder. But now I`m done with it so I hope you enjoy it. Also this bacame a little longer cause I found a really good soundtrack that sparked my creativity :D
BTS version
Short backstory:
You have been together with him for a year soon. Everything seemed fine for so long, he was nice, funny and always seemed to know how to make you smile when you were feeling down. Now however he was different. He was gone untill late, barely talking to you and when you asked him about it he`d answer you with short annoyed statements, almost angry. You had tried talking to him more than once but he wouldn`t listen. This is what made you draw your conclusions and you decided it might be better for him if you dissapeared. So packing a small bag with your most needed belongings you ran away.
Rap Monster
Stress had taken its toll on him lately as his mind was flodded with mission plans and coordinating the meetings and whatnot. And today it`s been even worse. Namjoon wanted nothing more than a hot shower and a few hours of sleep, instead however he found himself destroying the apartment in a fit of rage. He had come home to find a note from you, saying you were sorry for using up his time and apologizing for not being what he wanted. So after taking apart the place he used his contacts to locate you before making his way there. He`d grab you wrist making you look at him before furiously yelling.
âWhy the fuck would you do that? Why the fuck would you run away? Are you crazy? Do you know how fucking worried I was?â
When seeing your scared face he`d look defeated, calming down. He wasn`t angry with you at all. It was himself he was angry with really. So in the next sentences he made sure you understood just how much you meant to him. He`d let go of your wrist, instead catching both of your hands his and continuing in a soft but firm voice.
âI can`t loose you. I was a fucking dickhead I know. I was so caught up in my work that I neglected what`s most important in my life. You. Y/n, I am so sorry I did you so wrong. You are not a burden. You are the only thing keeping me sane. Shit, I never beg but if it takes begging for the rest of my life for you to stay then I will. Please y/n. Don`t leave me.â
Jin
The last few months have been a disaster. Things just didn`t play out the way he wanted and it was driving him insane. Today especially. That`s why he decided to get off work earlier. Maybe a quite day at home was what he was lacking. And if he was honest with himself he missed you. His happy thoughts of cuddling and a nice dinner however were thrown completely off board when he stepped into the bedroom to find a suitcase packed on the bed and you trying to close it. Your head would whip around to look at Jin when you heard him ask what you were doing.Â
The next few minutes where filled with you explaining your feelings to him while you profoundly apologized for being a burden and not being good enough for him. Jin would be silently listening to you, not because he was being polite but because he didn`t know what to say. He couldn`t believe he made you feel this way and the only thing he wanted right now was to make you feel wanted again. So he did the only thing he came up with. He kissed you. Pouring all of his feelings of shame and longing into it. And as the kiss progressed so did his yearing for you and as you were both laying beside eachother, sweat cascading your bodies and heavy breathing filling the air around you, he said out loud what his actions just now have said for him.
âI love you y/n. Please don`t leave me.â
Suga
Yoongi isn`t someone you play around with. Everybody knew that. But it turned out that there were people who don`t see it as a threat but rather a challenge. Ever since he found out that he had a spy in his group he was on edge. Snapping at everyone and everything. You included. He wasn`t proud of it and he knew he was being too harsh. So when the day finally came that he cought the traitor and dealt with it he set his mind on making it up to you. But he was too late. As he came through the door he knew something was off. He had tried to call you earlier but you hadn`t answered. He had wondered why. Finally finding your letter he got his answer, finding out that his plan of making it up to you came too late.Â
He was shocked to find himself calmly sitting in his office rather than trashing the whole place, but he knew this wasn`t the time to throw a fit. He knew you still loved him, or so you said in your letter. The only reason you left was his incompetence to remind you of his love so he just had to show you. And he was determent to make sure you would never question his loyalty and love to you ever again. After having his people drive you back to his office he now stood infront of you. He felt a pang of guilt hit him when he saw how sad you looked as he started talking.Â
âMy job is important to me and you know that. You also know that this situation I was having was out of the norm and demanded a high level of attention. That being said, I also thought you knew how much I love and care for you. But I understand why you would run away. I have not done my job in giving you the attention you deserve, by that letting you think one hell of fucking aweful things and I cannot apologize enough for it. Fuck. You know I`m bad with words so I`ll just get to the point. I need you y/n. I would never forgive myself if I let you leave like this so stay with me. Please.â
Saying the last sentence he gave you a small black box, inside lay a promise he swore to never break.
J-Hope
You had never seen him like this as he was always the smiley, bright and positive Hobi around you. So drawing your conclusions out of it, you must have become a burden to him. It hurt like hell writing your note to him and even more so to leave your shared flat for the last time. Hoseok didn`t notice any of this as he was currently trying to stay calm at all the stupidity going on around him. This had been going on for a few months now and he was sick and tired of it. When he finally left work he was worn out once again. His tired eyes would scan the flat curiously as he didn`t see nor hear you anywhere. Feeling his heart speed up he found your note on the kitchen table, your apartment key next to it. The next few hours were a blur. The only thing he could remember was a call to his team with the demand to find you and him releasing all of his stress by tearing up the place and screaming his throat soar. Now he was in a car on his way to your location, nervously bouncing one of his legs up and down.Â
The moment he saw you through the window, he jumped out of the car running to you and catching you in a tight hug. In this moment nothing around him mattered except for you. As he reluctantly pulled away and locked eyes with you he couldn`t help but tear up, no letting go of all of his feelings.
âYou don`t know the fear I felt when I found your note. I.. I can`t loose you. I don`t want to loose you. I`m miserable without you. I am so incredibly sorry. I truly am. I was a horrible partner and I understand if you hate me now but y/n, I love you. I will change. I promise. Just give me a chance. I swear to make you happy. Just... don`t leave me.â
Jimin
His heart broke the second he read the first line of your goodbye letter. All the problems he had thought were crazy important just a few seconds ago were now nothing compared to this. Nothing compared to loosing you. His chest rose and fell quicker at the thought of you sitting here alone with these horrible thoughts of not being good enough gnawing at your mind. Not to mention the constant pushing away and screaming he had done to you. But the thing that bothered him the most was that you didn`t leave him because he was an asshole. You left because you thought you were a burden. This was the point at which he would be sitting on the kitchen floor, your letter still in his hand, as he stared blankly infront of himself. He would need a good hour before he finally got back the courage to get up and find you.
With the help of his people he`d get your locations in the matter of a few minutes, not loosing any time to set out to your location. He didn`t want to let you go around with those thoughts for a single second longer. The moment his eyes would meet your, from crying, bloodshot ones his heart would break a second time. He quickly grabbed your arm and drew you close to him when he saw you trying to run. In his arms you tried to protest, telling him he`d only make it harder for you to leave if he kept holding on.
âGood. Then I`ll never let go. I don`t want you to leave. Never. I know this doesn`t make up for my behavior these last few months in the slightest but I am so so sorry y/n. You only deserve the best but what I did was worse than the worst. I made you believe you were useless and a burden when in reality you are all that I am fighting for every day. I don`t expect you to stay when I let go of you now, but please know that I really, truly love you.â
And holding on to his last straw of hope he let go.
Taehyung
This was the worst day of his life. Not because his million dollar deal had gone to hell. Not because several utterly important files had been stolen from his organization. And not because his right hand man, that he had trused for years, turned out to be a traitor. They were not the reason he was currently driving at an inhuman speed down the streets, his hands sweaty and heart beating so fast he thought it was going to burst. No. The reason for why he was a mess like this was the apologizing letter you had left him on your shared bed. His mind was buzzing with guilt, and quite frankly, anger. Not at you but at himself. He was sure he shouldn`t be driving in this state, but the thought of losing you was too much for him. His mind telling him you`d be where you felt the safest. In the park where you two had first met. More precisely on the bench under the great oak tree where you two had fallen in love.Â
And he was right. He found you sitting there, your head in your hands as he could hear your sobs filling the cold air of the night. He`d be careful when approaching you. Any signs of his recklessness from earlier gone as he didn`t want to scare you. He`d hesitantly stand infront of you, your tear filled eyes staring at him as he softly spoke up.
âI knew I`d find you here. You really love this spot don`t you. I do too. After all, this is where I found the love of my life. Someone I thought I would never find. But it seems I have fucked up bad. I didn`t treat you the way I should have and now your head is filled with these... these horrible thoughts that aren`t true. You should be mad at me. Yell at me for being the dick that I am, butinstead you are blaming yourself. Y/n, I don`t deserve you in any way. I never have. And if leaving me will make you happy I won`t stop you. But if you still love me, like I love you, please... don`t go. Let me make it up to you and show you how important you are to me.â
Jungkook
If he thought he was beaten down already from his day, now he was truly broken. This situation was completely overwhelming him and he didn`t know what else to do than angrily walk up and down the living room. His hands, no, his whole body shaking in what he could only describe as rage and sadness. He was trying not to cry but failed miserable at it as he noticed wet trails on his cheeks. He had found the note you left him and had immediatley tried calling you only to hear the sound of your ringtone in the livingroom where you left your phone. Now he was only waiting for his men to bring you back.Â
What the fuck could take them so long? He was waiting for over an hour already and his patience was wearing thin. That`s where the door would open and you`d step into the apartment. Right on time, he was sure he would`ve gone crazy had it been just a few minutes longer. You couldn`t even say a word when you were suddenly enveloped in a hug, his head tightly pressed into the nook of your neck and his arms having a grip on you as if he was afraid you`d crumcle beneath his hands. And as he felt you hugging him back he let go of everything he had failed to say to you.
âI love you so much y/n. I love you. I don`t even know where to begin to tell you how sorry I am for making you think I wouldn`t love you anymore and that you are a burden. You are anything but useless to me. You are all that I am waking up in the morning for. I made a horrible mistake at not taking care of you when you were feelings this way and I apologize for it. If you still love me, I`d like you to stay here with me. I swear to take better care of you from now on. Whatever you want me to do, I will do it if it makes you stay.âÂ

Mini Kadi Shippers/Supportersâ Survey Result
I would like to thank everyone for taking their time to respond to this survey. Your contribution is much appreciated. Anyway, this might sound a bit formal. But as long as I deliver the message, aite?
This is a mini kd shippers/supporters survey. I asked a question and collected responses which were consisted of a statement(s). I managed to collect a total of 99 responses in a span of 10 days.
Question:Â i have an honest question. iâm really curious. who re u guys that ship/support kd? ks stans, ji stans, ex0-l, non-ex0-l, not even into kpop?
Next, Iâve analyzed the data using a simple coding method (use in a qualitative study). Iâve extracted a few important points from the data and divided it into two main categories - Group Stan & Bias. The subcategories were determined based on the amount of the same response
Group Stan - (1) EX0.L, (2) Non-EX0.L and (3) Not Stated Bias - (1) Jong.in, (2) Kyung.soo, (3) Jong.in & Kyung.soo and (4) Others
The unit used in the result is counted as per response [x/99].
1st Category: Group Stan

I think the highlight of this result is the Non EX0.L. Altho it's not many of them but I find it interesting that Non EX0.LÂ take an interest in kd. These were some responses from the Non EX0.L.
Âș im not ex0.l anymore and if it weren't for kd i wouldn't be here (in the fandom) Âș just kai.soo-l. im not into kpop or ex.o anymore... i just exist here now just for kai.soo. tho i still go to ex.o concerts but just to see kai.soo. Âș I'm not a EX.O fan but I believe Kai.soo are dating Âș not really an ex0.l i literally only went to ex0.rdium to see them both c: Âș ...I'm a bt.s stan irl Âș Im an ar.my but i've been shipping kai.soo almost since the beginning :) they are The only ship that I actually believe is real
The âNot Statedâ subcategory is self-explanatory. I believe it doesnât affect the result that much.
2nd Category: Bias

Ks bias and ji & ks bias share the 1st spot on the chart with a total of 33 responses, respectively. I find it quite shocking. I expected that there would be more of ks bias since Iâve only heard many kd shippers are ks bias.
It is expected from my pov that there arenât many kd shippers that biased ji, which I also find it interesting. Perhaps this has anything to do with his popularity among ifandom? Or they are more of them that ship other otp like se.kai etc? Mybe his past dating scandal affected stans in some way? //shrug.
The least frequent answers fell under âOthersâ; consisted of those who doesn't bias ji and ks, bias all ex0 and not stated specifically.
Conclusion
As per stated in the title, the result represent kai.soo shippers and supporters. This is not a proper survey since the data are varied and Iâve only managed to extract few points when they could have been more. So take this survey as it is~ Anyway, it was a fun mini survey and I also had fun analyzing the data! Click âKeep readingâ to check out all of the responses.
Thatâs all for now. Thank you and have a nice day :)
These are the raw data. So it is unorganized. Thank you for the participation!
Ks stan ji stan ex0l
ex0l
I love Jong.in and KaiSo0. And EX0. †my one and only bias, ship and group.
Ks stan, ji stan and ex0 l
ji stan ks stan ex0l
ks stan, semi ji stan
Ks-ji stan and ex0 l
ex0-l, ksoo stan (but i love them all wtd)
Ex0 l def, soo stan altho jong.in is close 2nd
Kyungso0 stan and EX0-L definitely and semi Jong.in stan <3
EX0-L, Ksoo biased
ksoo stan
I am an ex0-l but not a kyungso0 stan nor a jong.in one (my biases are baek and jongdae)
but my sister, who supports kaiso0 too with all her heart, is a jong.in stan !
i noticed ji first because of dance, then i realised ji comes with ks as a package, so i started noticing kd and then i believed kd is real so im a supporter instead of a shipper. im not an ex0L but i do appreciate all members of ex0 because i genuinely think they each have something special. but i dont really follow the activities much. some of those i chat with thinks im in transition from a non ex0L to an ex0L. i dont ship any other pairings but i like se.kai which i think are bros. not jagi bros. but maknae dance bros. i dont know i can fit into ur data though but here is all my information.
I saw your post haha... I'm an ex0l and a Kyungso0 stan that is also becoming a Jong.in stan... So a kaiso0 stan. I can't choose only one of them. They come together haha.
EX0-L, JI stan, KS, stan, stan the group as a whole.
I dont consider myself an ex0*l, thou i buy their albuns, if i like a mv a lot, iÂŽll watch over /over again. Im just not into fandom culture, i find it toxic, with all the fanwars inside and out. I love kd, ji and ks the same and more than ex0 as a whole, I only follow blogs that are kd, ji and ks centric, but idc much about their acting jobs. So im not sure in what place im, but in a way it makes sense to me. lol!
I'm ks stan, I'm into kd because ks (and their love;;), I'm into e x o because kd.
im not ex0l anymore and if it weren't for kd i wouldn't be here (in the fandom)
i'm a ji and ks stan combined. i can't have one without the other. i make sure to check out whats going on with the both of them. but sometimes i do feel like i go more crazy over ji. i'm a capricorn and i have that same introvert personality, which is one of the reason why i love them both so much. i'm a ji stan ks stan and a kaiso0 stan.
im a ksoo stan and i ship kd so very much !! they make me so happy and are my motivation in life tbh ïŒżïŸäč(ïŸïœ€)_ <3
kaiso0 biased, ex0-l
I'm a kyungso0 and jong.in stan, but kyungso0 is my ultimate bias. EX0-L.
Am a proud ks stan \(ââĄâ)/
i'm an ex0-l and a kyungso0 stan~
KD support
Kyung Soo stan
She's jong.in fan n even before i talked to her about kadi, she already knew theres something different about them (she did some digging on her own). I swear i didnt plant any idea on her haha
Ex0-L, 100% Kaiso0 shipper, Jong.in Stan, Kyungso0 Stan, all of EX0 Stan especially C.hen and Xiu.min because they seem to get neglected sometimes
D.o stan kai bais wrecker ex0l
I starded as a Jong.in stan then thanks to that I discovered kaiso0 and it made me take interest in ex0.Now I'm a kaiso0 supporter,ksoo stan,Jong.in ultimated biased and ex0-l :D
Ex0-l, Ji is my ub but Ks is in my top 3 members.
Ex0-l, ksoo stan but ji is very close.
just kai.soo-l. im not into kpop or ex0 anymore... i just exist here now just for kai.soo. tho i still go to ex0 concerts but just to see kaiso0. i still listen to ex0 songs but just a few chosen ones that i like.
Ex0l ks stan ji stan
ex0-l, ksoo stan !! âĄ
Ex0l, jong.in and kyungso0 stan(i cant choose, both are my ultimate biases)đ
i saw jong.in in nylon kor~~ he made me stan ex0 then i discovered kadi... so im a jong.in stan kadi "shipper" (i think they r real, but then im also scared of projecting something that may not b there. i think i saw somewhere that its usually ji fans that r the worst "kadi shippers" or w/e lol anywaysss let me know what ur results r from the poll!!)
Am a proud ks stan \(ââĄâ)/
Not even into kpop but because of kaiso0, started listening to ex0 songs
ex0l & ksoo stan
Multi-fandom here! I stan both but mostly kyungso0 and lowkey yi.xing because he keeps making me swerve
For survey, I'm not a EX0 fan but I believe Kaiso0 are dating. If I have to choose, my favorite member is Baek.hyun and I like a couple of songs like Growl and Call Me Baby. I started thinking they're dating after I saw them at a concert a friend brought me to accompany her. They did fanservice with the rest but the way they acted towards each other was so different from what I know of fanservice. When I got home I searched them up. And Ka!'s dating scandal last year made me believe in them more.
Kyungso0 stan and i love jong.in and kaiso0 too
Kyungso0 stan. And became Jong.in stan because when you love ksoo you should love jong.in too
cannot decide because both of them came as a complimentary set agjsgsjgsjgs not really an ex0-l i literally only went to ex0rdium to see them both c:
ex0l. ksoo stan, ji stan, kai.soo shipper, um what else
ks and ji stand but i dont really follow ex0
An ex0-l OT9 stanâĄ
#kpop Stan since 2010#ks Stan#since 2012 *starts crying*
EX0-L, Ksoo biased
hi! im a ksoo stan that ships kd
I stan both. I only stan ex0. Forever an ex0l. Kaiso0 is real. đ»đđ§
was a jong.in stan now a kadi stan, i started to be a real/invested ex0l only after supporting their relationship
I'm a ksoo stans and kai comes in second and together they are THE power couple of my life
Kd supporter , Xiu.min biased/Ex0-l
jognog is my bias first. ksoo comes in later cause kaiso0.
Non-ex0-l
Mainly a ji stan but I love ks just as much. I adore kaiso0. I'm an Ex0-L but I don't listen to any other kpop.
ex0-l and kaiso0 shipper
I'm a jong.in Stan but ksoo cuteness never make me calm. ex0-l
ks stan, ji stan, ex0-l!!
EX0-L JONG.IN STAN
Started with overdose as a jong.in stan, I feel ashamed but I didn't even notice kyungso0 until much later. Then now I am a proud jongsoo supporter T_T
A proud ex0l and ji stan c:
Kyungso0 biased EX0-L. Love all members, including Jong.in. Kaiso0 is the only EX0 "ship" I take seriously.
for the kai.soo thing !! i wouldnt call myself ex0 l but i like ex0, jong.in stan (i love kyung.soo too. i only care about kai.soo basically anyway)
I am an ex0 & ji stan since their debut, they are only idol pairing I believe 100%, from watching ji closely over the years!
ks is my bias in ex0 but I'm a bt$ stan irl... ex0 is in my top 5 fav groups but I'm mostly with them for ks
before watching iotl i wasn't into kpop,ex0 is the first and only kr band i stan, cuz of actor do ks,ks is my bias,ji is my 2nd bias sometimes i wonder if ji is my bias now,i don't like all ex0 members but i consider my self an ex0-l,i listen to all their songs but i only watch the shows if ks or ji is in them, i'm only interested in ks and ji solo works not the others i've never watch other members movies, dramas, shows or v apps, their happiness is all that matters to me even though i'm muslim 1 i'm muslim and being gay is wrong according to my religious beliefs but looking at them all i see is love,no one around me knows about my love for them, they are my guilty pleasure 2
I'm a kyung.soo stan!
I am definitely a kai.soo supporter T_T Always! 100% jong.in stan and 100% kyung.soo stan! I don't know what is the criteria of being an ex0L! I do love their music and watch the variety shows they are in but I never bought an album or went to their concert!!
Kyungso0 is my bias
I'm ks stan, ex0-l, and start liking ji bcs if kd ;)
Se.hun fans, broken hearted kriso0 shipper
I'm Min.seok biased but I love couples, I started loving kd a couple months after I started liking ex0 and xiu.han. Kd is so cute and so real! But I'm lowkey a ji and ks stan...
so i stan both ji and ks i find them really talented and i like ex0 in general . I don't really stan other groups but i appreciate kpop a lot.
To your question, I ship kd and i'm ex0-l and Jong.in stan, but i got into EX0 bc of Kyungso0, i felt in love with him the first time i saw him <3 so basically a ksoo stan too(? im not sure :_
ex0-l since predebut era. originally a ksoo stan now both kd are my babies TvT
Iâm a Kyungso0 and Jong.in stan âș Baek.hyunâs my bias wrecker though
I'm Kyungso0 stan followed by Jong.in. and I only ship Kaiso0
both are my biases but kji is my ultđ ex0-l for lyf
I started shipping kai.soo back in 2013 when I was a casual ex0.l and didn't have a bias. Now my bias is jong.in :)
Ex0-l, my ult is kyung.soo, and jong.in follows!
ex0-l yi.xing stan HOLLA HOLLA love kaiso0. stan ksoo over jong.in just a lil bit.
EX0-L, I love all EX0 members! Baek.Hyun is my bias! <3
I'm a Ji Stan but I love both boys with all my heart
I'm a jong.in stan that was exclusively a jong.in stan before I cared abt or knew any other members. and then kaiso0, like immediately afer
Ksoo stan
ksoo and jgnog stan :^))))
Ex0-l - stanning both
I love all of ex0 members, but I'm Jong.in biased. I do support (believe in) KD since I entered the fandom 2 and a half years ago ^^
ksoo and nini stan
Im an arm.y but i've been shipping kaiso0 almost since the beginning :) they are The only ship that I actually believe is real
ji & ks stan, but i knew about and supported KD before i entered the fandom
Kyungso0 Stan â€â€
I'm not an ex0-l but i like ex0.. and i recognise love when i see it
Yi.xing stan Kai.soo shipper!

do you think the BBMA's will show bts accepting the award if they win?
from what i know itâs not presented during the main ceremony? or it hasnât been before? iâve actually never watched the BBMAs so I have no idea, they might do it this time because of the online pressure and they are using bangtan in that area so.. it might be different, but i have zero expectations tbh 3:
Anonymous said:lmao at these anons trying to police u. like theyre the only ones with an issue here. but anyways, i definitely understand where ur coming from bout having a lot of followers and saying sth thats always misconstrued or taken offensively. Its why ive long since turned off my ask box. Im just not here for that stress yknow? even if sometimes i miss the nice messages i would get
well itâs because tone can get a lost a lot in writing, so i can understand it to a degree, but i wish people tried to understand before trying to tell me how to behave, it especially feels weird knowing that iâm most definitely older than majority of people that do this to me as well so yeah adksjd.. i like answering questions and clearing up things, helping people if i can, so i deal with the attacks on my character, i try to ignore most of the time but sometimes i feel like i have to address it
slytherinyoongs said:You just be you, most of people here are way too sensitive anyway and whatever you do you will somehow be wrong and be called arrogant, disrespectful etc. Itâs not wrong to say your opinion, I mean itâs your blog anyway. If it means anything I find you really cool and I love your blog! ^^
thank you for liking my blog ;; it means a lot to me â„ i donât like to say that people are too sensitive tbh, people just feel the way they feel, itâs just that i wish people thought critically more about those feelings before drawing a conclusion and then trying to tell me how i should act⊠i try my best not to be mean or hurt anyone :/ but thatâs the human condition i suppose, you canât always succeed
Anonymous said:Hello. You can ignore this if you want but I apologise. It was wrong of me to judge, I was simply worried but I realised that It came off in the wrong way and it was wrong overall. I donât want you to think that I dont like you, because I do a lot. The reason why I commented is that I consider you as a friend and I would be just direct with my friends when it comes to things like this. I guess I did mean brash? I still have some misunderstandings with English, being Bulgarian and all. Sorry đ
ah, itâs okay you donât need to apologize, i even told you in the original ask that i can see you meant well and thanked you for the well wishes, i was just flabbergasted by your choice of words and in general by the asks i got today⊠because yeah you werenât the first person to try and tell me how to talk and i justâŠsigh⊠but yeah, itâs okay! especially considering the language barrier, i think it might go both ways because english isnât my first language either! i wish you and everyone else would just know i never am trying to be mean or arrogant or to offend anyone, i also just talk to people the same way i would talk to my friends, straightforwardly and without any pretence :( but yeah, thank you for this message â„

This review unit was sent to me courtesy of the nice people at Ugoos, so thank you very much, and especially Nancy, for the kindness and help!
Ugoos is a young (about 4 years old) company that came out with several products over the last few years and is showing quite a promise. They concentrate on Rockchip based products, but also carry several Amlogic based devices.
AM1 is Ugoosâs Amlogic S905 new entry into the (quite) crowded recent S905 group. It offers decent general performance, and great video performance, coupled with network speed that rivals the leaders in this bunch.
Whatâs in the Box?
As can be seen both in the unboxing video and the photo below, the package is pretty standard, with the external antenna, DC power adapter, (nifty blue) HDMI 2.0 cable, and standard IR remote control and user manual â on top of the box itself and a USB OTG cable (mostly for firmware manual upgrade or connecting to PC). However, itâs really all you need to use this device efficiently â aside from a digital screen.
The box contains the standard assortment of necessities: The TV Box (naturally), its external antenna, HDMI 2.0 cable, a USB OTG cable, standard IR remote control, DC power adapter, and a user manual.
Looks
The AM1 is made of metal (aluminium) and comes in the color sky blue. Thatâs a bold choice for a box in the land of black and silver, but I find it a nice variation. It sports an external antenna that services the dual WiFi capabilities it offers, and provide passive ventilation both from itâs bottom and right sides, as well as a heat-sink inside to dissipate the heat from the CPU. Also, an interesting note is that the board inside is the same as the one used for Tronsmartâs Vega S95 Telos model, and so it includes the SATA connector â even though it is not usable and blocked behind the venting grill on the side of the box.

Benchmarks and Testing
All benchmarks have been repeated 3 times and results have been averaged to give a more accurate reading:
Antutu Benchmark
The Antutu benchmark tests single core performance over multi-core as it is a better indication of the performance of one device over others in most situations. Donât mind the bottom ranking of the AM1 in the updated 6.0.1 graph, since it includes only about half of the devices tested so far, so it gives only a partial picture. As can be seen in the older benchmark, the AM1 takes a middle position that matches its s905 competition.
GPU Mark Benchmark
GPU Mark tests 3d gaming performance and also provides a normalized score according to the used screen resolution (for a more accurate result). The test is quite short and should be taken as a supporting result to that of the more serious 3D Mark benchmark. The GPU mark benchmark pretty much mirrors the ranking in Antutu, with results in the mid-low part of the graph.
A1 SD Benchmark
A1 SD Benchmark tests RAM and flash memory speeds. As can be seen in the provided graphs, RAM is much faster (by a factor of about 40) than flash memory â that is why itâs in smaller amount and is also volatile (does not keep its contents after a reboot). AM1 shows a surprisingly high ranking in this benchmark which may indicate good components as well as good implementation that brings it to the top 3 in the charts!
PC Mark Benchmark
The PC Mark benchmark test suite gives a more task/day oriented picture of performance. Things like photo editing, web browsing and video playback are tested. Even with the highest âweb browsingâ score, the average âwork performanceâ score still puts it in the middle of the chart, but keeps it in the s905 score group, due to the similar task related performance.
3D Mark Benchmark
3D Mark benchmark is considered as one of the best ways to test 3d performance on Android (and other platforms). As mentioned in prior s905 reviews, the chipset is not designed for gaming and does not shine in that department. Even so, it can still run most casual (and even 3d racing) games quite smoothly.
 Video Playback testing (Using KODI)
Resolution Video Format Local Playback Network (Wi-Fi/LAN) Playback 720p (1280*720) AVC ([email protected]) Playing correctly Playing correctly 1080P (1920*1080) AVC (High@L4) Playing correctly Playing correctly 4K/UHD (4096*2304) AVC ([email protected]) Playing correctly Buffering and stutter 2160P (3840*2160) HEVC (H.265) Playing correctly Playing correctly 4K TS HEVC files HEVC (H.265) 10Bit Does not play Does not play
Issues and bugs
Power off does not really power off the box. When I powered the box off via the power menu (long press on the remote power button), it would not turn back on â neither from the remote nor from the physical power button on the box. Only taking out the power cord and plugging it back allowed to turn the box back on.
Remote is not too great. Response is a bit spotty as button presses are not consistently detected.
Kodi Add-ons did not install properly at first time each time. Some required repeat attempts to get installed.
Google play games service crashes upon running, and so does not function correctly inside games.
Information overlay comes up on kodi while playing back video without user interaction, occasionally.
Upon opening the box and looking inside, I found that the heat-sink was not properly attached to the CPU but used thermal two-sided strips that did not keep it firmly in place. I had to use some thermal paste and re-adjust the heat-sink so as to avoid overheating later on.
Network performance
Network performance has been tested using Speedtest.net Internet speed measuring app, in WiFi and in Wired mode. My Internet connection is 200 Mbit Symmetric Fibre connection. Notice that the WiFi performance is quite good, and comparable to that of Tronsmartâs Vega S95 Telos:
WiFi (802.11ac 5 GHz)
Wired, over power lines
Gaming performance
I use an application called âGameBenchâ to measure frame rate and resource usage in games. However, since this box is brand new, and does not have a working root solution, my impressions are just descriptive and not measured:
Asphalt 8 Airborne â a 3d graphic intensive racing game. The game run fine, but not completely smooth. Loading screens were swift, but the during gameplay I experienced a small amount of jerkiness.
Angry Birds 2 â a popular 2d action game. Runs smoothly most of the time, with bits of slowdown both in-game and in menus.
Walking War Robots â an online robot warfare game that requires a game-pad (I donât have a game-pad). Mostly smooth sailing, with very little to un-noticeable slower frame rate at times.
Conclusions
Did I like it? Yes, I did. Itâs a strong and mostly stable contender in the s905 scene. The annoying lack of power button, and remote control issues will be resolved in the near firmware update, as theyâre the top priority. Rooting will also be offered as a built in option in the first official firmware release.
Would I recommend it? Definitely. It may not be the best of the bunch, but itâs definitely one of the cheaper and most cost effective ones.
So youâd like to buy this box? you can find it here: Ugoos AM1 Android TV Box â Amlogic S905 SoC, 2GB RAM, Mali GPU, Kodi 16, UHD 4K, Android 5.1, Wi-Fi for a modest 74.47 USD!

Sony Xperia 1 review: Minor triumph at a massive price
Sony might not be a smartphone hitmaker like rivals Samsung, Google, or LG (at least in the U.S.), but itâs nothing if not persistent. The companyâs latest attempt to nab a market foothold is the Xperia 1, which was announced in February at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Among its spotlight features are an ultrawide screen designed to highlight movies and TV shows shot in anthromorphic widescreen and a triple rear camera setup paired with a powerful camera app that borrows tech from Sonyâs CineAlta group.
So, whatâs the verdict?
Design
The Xperia 1 is the tallest phone Iâve laid eyes on in years, and thatâs saying something. Itâs 167mm in length and 72mm wide, and it measures 8.2mm thick â only a hair pudgier than the Galaxy S10 (7.8mm) but thinner than the iPhone XR (8.3mm).
Minimalism is Sonyâs aesthetic du jour, and the Xperia 1 falls right in line. Its front and back glass run parallel, curving at the edges toward the lip of the phoneâs frame, and noticeable (but not inordinately large) bezels buffer the displayâs top and bottom, flanking narrower borders to the left and right.
The Xperia 1âs left side houses the volume rocker and power button, which sandwich the fingerprint sensor. The trio sits up from a dedicated shutter key that doubles as a shortcut to the camera app, a layout that was a constant source of frustration in my testing. Sonyâs decision not to pair the fingerprint sensor with the power button (like the Samsung Galaxy S10e) is to the Xperia 1âs detriment â itâs far too easy to nudge either with a wayward thumb.
You wonât find a 3.5mm audio jack in the Xperia 1, which is par for the course â neither the Xperia XZ3 nor the Xperia XZ2 had analog ports onboard. Fortunately, thereâs a USB-C-to-3.5mm adapter in the box.
Display
The Xperia 1âs 6.57-inch screen bears the distinction of being the worldâs first 4K HDR OLED on a phone â one with an ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio, the same designed to show films shot in CinemaScope and the modern anamorphic format 2.29:1. As with Xperia displays before it, the 1644 x 3840 resolution (643 pixels per inch) display draws on Sonyâs Bravia TV technologies for âimprovedâ contrast, color, and clarity and support for the DCI-P3, IT-R BT.2020, and Illuminant D65 color spaces.
Itâs plenty bright indoors but tough to make out in direct sunlight or at an angle, where distortion rears its ugly head. Perhaps more disappointingly, only compatible content displays in 4K â the Xperia 1âs user interface is at 420 pixels per inch by default.

Above: Hereâs how 16:9 content looks on the Xperia 1âs display.

So whatâs the big deal with 21:9? Well, Sony Mobile says itâs collaborating with Sony Pictures Entertainment to bring films and TV shows shot in native 2.29:1 to the Xperia 1 without letterboxing (the black bars that fill out content thatâs been squeezed into a 16:9 screen). Moreover, the company says itâs in talks with game developers such as Epic Games, Gameloft, and Tencent to optimize titles like Fortnite, Asphalt 9, and Arena Valor for the added real estate.
Trouble is, the gain is largely hypothetical. Youâre currently on your own where content discovery is concerned. Itâs by no means difficult to find 2.29:1 movies and shows â a cursory search of YouTube and Netflix yields plenty â but given that one of the Xperia 1âs selling points is its ultrawide aspect ratio, the dearth of curation is more than a little surprising.
Cameras
The Xperia 1âs other headliners are the cameras, without a doubt. Sony is finally jumping on the three-sensor bandwagon, following in the footsteps of Huawei, LG, Samsung, and others.
A wide-angle 12-megapixel œ.3-inch Exmor RS for mobile sensor (behind a f/1.6 aperture, 26-millimeter lens) with optical image stabilization, electronic image stabilization, and dual photo diode tech handles the bulk of picture-snapping, while a 12-megapixel 1/3.4-inch sensor (behind an f/2.4 aperture, 52-millimeter lens) featuring 2x optical zoom with optical image stabilization captures subjectsâ finer details from a distance. The last in the trifecta â a super-wide-angle 12-megapixel 1/3.4-inch sensor (with a 1.55 ÎŒm behind an f/2.4 aperture and 16 mm 135-degree lens) â squeezes image periphery into the frame.
They produce good â and sometimes great â photos in bright and low light in spite of the default settingsâ skew toward warmer hues. Colors are rarely oversaturated, shadows retain both details and sharpness, and the camera appâs intelligent auto mode (which leverages AI to tune its output to scenes) cuts down on noise that would otherwise creep into closeups.
The same canât be said of the ÂŒ-inch 8-megapixel sensor (with an f/2.0 lens) front-facing camera, which snaps average selfies at best. Particularly disappointing are the overzealous âbeautificationâ sliders in portrait selfie mode, which turn skin into a pasty mess.
Features
Thereâs an abundance of tools of varying usefulness on tap in the Xperia 1âs camera app. In addition to the aforementioned portrait selfie mode, which has adjustable sliders that slim your cheeks and enlarge your eyes, youâll find a bokeh option that uses computer vision to approximate depth of field. They complement object tracking and an auto capturing feature that snaps a pic when it detects a smile, plus filters like Mirror and Old Film and an augmented reality stickers mode akin to Googleâs AR Stickers.
Of note is Eye AF, which leverages machine learning to lock onto a subjectâs eyes and ârememberâ them so it can relock focus when they briefly move out of the frame or are occluded by an object. Sony is also touting Cinema Pro, a highly customizable capture mode designed in collaboration with the companyâs CineAlta division. Both work as advertised, but it would be nice if Cinema Pro didnât disable optical image stabilization.
Performance
At the heart of the Xperia 1 is the system-on-chip (SoC) inside the Samsung Galaxy S10 series: Qualcommâs Snapdragon 855. Itâs a substantial step up from the Xperia XZ3âs Snapdragon 845, and Sonyâs flagship makes the most of it.
The 7-nanometer eight-core chip is upwards of 45% faster, thanks to a 64-bit Arm Cortex design based on Qualcommâs in-house Kryo 485 processor, and itâs paired here with an Adreno 640 graphics chip, 6GB of RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of storage (expandable by up to 512GB of storage via microSD).
The Xperia 1 impresses qualitatively with zippy transitions and stutter-free multitasking, and itâs no more a slouch in synthetic benchmark tests. It achieves a 10,846 multi-core score in Geekbench 4, putting it on par with the Galaxy S10 (10,559), just behind the OnePlus 7 Pro (11,012) and far ahead of long-in-the-tooth handsets like the LG V40, Vivo Nex S, Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note9, and LG G7.
But what about the battery? While the Xperia 1 might be deficient on paper compared with titleholders like the Vivo Nex or the Motorola G8 Plus, raw capacity numbers belie its stamina. The phoneâs 3,330mAh pack easily lasts morning to night with light usage, which in my case involves a mix of web browsing, Google Maps navigation, Gmail, and YouTube.
Audio
As with previous handsets in the Sonyâs Xperia family, audio is front and center on the Xperia 1. It boasts stereo speakers driven by a âsmartâ amplifier (the earpiece doubles as a second channel), and support for both Dolbyâs Atmos 3D simulated surround sound technology and Hi-Res audio (recordings with over a 44.1 kHz sample rate and a 16-linear bit depth).
I wish the speakers were something to write home about, but they sadly arenât. Thereâs a substantial step down in quality from the bottom-firing speaker to the earpiece, which exhibits the unpleasant clipping characteristic of a blowout.
Bassheads might find consolation in the Xperia 1âs Dynamic Vibration feature, which analyzes sound spectrograms and translates them into haptic motor whirs. But while itâs nifty in theory, the implementation is clunkier than youâd expect, considering Dynamic Vibration debuted a year ago on the Xperia XZ2. The effect is surprisingly weak even on the maximum setting and itâs concentrated around the bottom-firing speaker (where the vibration motorâs embedded beneath the display).
Software
The Xperia 1 ships with Android 9.0 Pie onboard, but itâs hardly a vanilla experience. Sonyâs Xperia UI sits atop it and brings with it a custom home screen with an iOS-like horizontal app drawer, along with other nips and tucks.
Side Sense, a carryover Xperia XZ3, surfaces a menu containing shortcuts to commonly used apps and settings with a double-tap of the Xperia 1âs right or left bezel. According to Sony, Side Senseâs shortcuts are informed by AI that learns which apps youâre likely to use based on your location, the time of day and day of the week, and other signals. Itâs nifty when it works but frustrating when it doesnât activate right away despite repeated taps, a common occurrence.
With respect to gaming, thereâs Game Enhancer, a Sony-designed software suite debuting with the Xperia 1. It âoptimizesâ the performance of supported games, Sony says, and provides one-tap access to gameplay recording features, online tip guides, and more via a menu overlaid atop those games.
Conclusion
The Xperia 1 isnât a bad phone â in fact, itâs something of a triumph for Sony, whose handsets rarely surpass overall expectations. The screenâs aspect ratio might be a bit of a gimmick, but its vibrancy isnât, and the triple-sensor cameras capture better-than-expected snaps indoors and out.
Itâs the price point that kills this device dead.
$950 is a decent chunk of change no matter how you slice it. Itâs $100 more than the exceptional 128GB Samsung Galaxy S10 and the LG G8 ThinQ and a whopping $250 more than the concededly older Google Pixel 3. Sony points to the anamorphic screen and CineAlta enhancements as justification for the premium, but itâs hard to reconcile knowing that smartphones just as capable undercut it by a substantial margin.
Perhaps if the Xperia 1 arrived with a catalog of compelling ultrawide content, things would be different â that would at least set it apart from the crowd. But as it stands now, youâre paying out the wazoo for a little more screen real estate, which doesnât sound like a great deal to me.
