Emmet doesn’t rise from his office couch the moment he feels the connection die. His other humans, his brother, their guests, they all try to soothe and comfort him, but he’s heartbroken. Everyone is, for you’ve been lost. You’re dead. Gone.

All Emmet can think about it how you felt. The pain that filled your body, how small and limp you were when he finally got to you. His hand ghosts the graze on his side, the slight pain grounding. You were real. You were here. But now you’re gone.

And Emmet mourns for you so deep and loud the entire Gear Station falls quiet, plagued with a sorrow they don’t entirely understand. They all mourn for you, as they should. Emmet thinks the whole world, the whole universe should mourn you. You were bright and beautiful, and the world is so much darker without you in it.

So deep in their agony, the other humans don’t notice your careful walk, the pain in each of your steps. You walk through crowds, past distracted depot agents, and towards the employee only area. Your badge still works, and you slip by undetected.

With a sigh, you push the door to the office open, interrupting Emmet's grief with a bang.

Emmet's head snaps up from the couch, growling at who dares to interrupt his mourning, but it stops in his throat when he sees it's you. You stand before him, sweating and cradling your stomach. He can sense your relief and pain and exhaustion despite not being able to feel you.

"They took my connector." You say, a whine to your voice.

Emmet scoops you up. His elation and relief rips through the psychic links. All over the station, his connected humans begin to cry alongside him, their own relief and his overwhelming. But Emmet can barely apologize as he nuzzles you and carries you to the couch, curling around you protectively.

The fluff and purrs that surround you are so calming after the panic that plagued you, waking up without your connector. You're relieved to be back with Emmet again, him fussing over you. You relax into his doting arms with a smile.

Emmet licks you cheek, resisting the urge to attach to you now. You're still recovering from that horrible wound. He can wait, yes, he'll be patient. So long as he can hold you, he can be patient.

Just Chatting - The younger streamer/trainer in Hisui has so much meme potential and I love them so much. Especially with the reverse-adopting Ingo as an Uncle route. They try to ride a Garchomp down the slopes only to be scruffed by their jacket and lectured about 'safety protocols' and the like - Chat is roasting them throughout.

Thankfully, Ingo is at least experienced with dealing with shenanigans from the subway, even if he doesn't remember it. His scolding isn't harsh, but he does hammer it into the Hero's head that hey, this is a really bad idea.

And then he proceeds to tell you all the ways you could have gotten hurt. He won't skip the details.

If you want to play dangerous games, fine, but he will at least make sure you know what the dangerous prizes could be.

Emmet nearly sheds a tear watching the stream. His brother still remembers regulations and safety, even if he seems to have lost his memories.

All while your Garchomp is playing in the background while your phone gets the perfect view of you getting a stern talking to. Your chat is filled with mixed responses that slowly end up on Ingo's side as he goes into detail about how painful it is to set a broken bone.

Ingo may seem a bit strict about it, but he cares.

You get shit about it lovingly from your chat for at least a week though.

My first Pokemon game was Red, when it first came out in America! Bonus fun fact: My older sister and I always split the games we get on a hot-cold basis when applicable. She got Blue, Silver, Sapphire, Moon, and Violet while I got Red, Gold, Ruby, Sun, and Scarlet. She tends to like cool colors while I tend to like warm colors, and that way we can trade version-exclusives! --Ingo anon

Do you have a favorite between the submas twins?

Tough question, I think Emmet speaks to me more on a personal level, so I might like him juuust a bit more. Meanwhile Ingo's dark uniform makes his design very interesting, and general association of purple with him because of Chande (I love me some ourple).

Overall I feel like they go together. You can't really have one without the other, which is why I am not fond of PLA. They work best side-by-side

If we want to get sad with Ingo’s outfit, someone on TikTok pointed out that their outfits are based on train tracks, with the white vertical strips being the rails, the red pets being the wood, and the buttons being the bolts. They tend said Ingo’s being torn up at the bottom now could be a reference that when train tracks are destroyed, you can’t go back like his situation(whether that’s his memory or his home I guess is up to interpretation) in hisui. But he still keeps it cause it’s really the only thing he has of his previous life
