The panel brought together influential figures, including Evelyn Barahona from the US Hispanic Chamber, Tania Menéndez representing Snowball Wealth, Juanita Velez of Delta Airlines, and Delia Garced from Synchrony Financial.

The focal point of this discussion was the financial challenges faced by women, particularly in building long-term financial stability due to a lack of generational wealth. The panelists delved into the critical issues of ensuring affordable and accessible housing, promoting financial wellness for Latinas, and creating financial health through enhanced financial literacy.

With the goal of inspiring and empowering Latinas on their path to success, the panel recognized the staggering statistic that 2 million Latinas are entrepreneurs. Delia Garced, SVP Health & Wellness Client Marketing Leader at Synchrony Financial, emphasized the importance of learning how money can work for us. She highlighted the often-overlooked topics of how to make money and the significance of saving in a 401k plan. Synchrony's commitment to encouraging its employees to grasp the importance of investing, even if the employee isn't contributing, was a notable point.

Garced also underscored the vital role of education, promotion, and engagement in identifying talent and closing the equity gap within Synchrony. The panelists collectively emphasized the significance of staying informed about financial programs within various industries and leveraging available resources, such as Chambers of Commerce.

Evelyn Barahona of the US Chamber of Commerce shared a powerful insight: "Being an immigrant gives you an entrepreneurial mindset, which you should consider your superpower." Education was identified as a potent equalizer, with Garced stressing the importance of educating individuals on how to apply for credit and explore diverse funding options beyond traditional loans.

Furthermore, the discussion highlighted the critical role of networking in advancing one's career and visibility. Garced attributed much of her success to building a strong network, particularly through the Hispanic Network.

The ultimate call to action was for corporations to play a pivotal role in igniting change by supporting funding programs and initiatives aimed at driving meaningful transformation. The insights and discussions during this panel served as a compelling testament to the commitment of these influential figures in paving the way for financial empowerment and equality for Latinas in the ever-evolving landscape of finance.

Y es que tengo ese problema cuando me enamoro: no lo demuestro directamente, actúo ausente; en mi absurdo desinterés intento captar tu interés.

Sin embargo, siempre había alguien que lo hacía primero.

Quizás se deba a que tuve miedo de estar enamorado lo que me incitó a borrar cada ápice de actitud fascinada cada vez que conmigo hablabas.

Temía que si sospechabas los asomos de mis sentimientos te distanciaras o me rechazaras de antemano, alegando que no me estabas dando las señales equivocadas, que tus intenciones eran puramente amistosas.

Es tarde ahora. Otro te ha conquistado.

Si algún día me armo de valentía para confesarte mis sentimientos, quizás ya te habré superado.

Por el momento, me toca amarte y escribirte poemas desde las sombras, porque sé que no tendré una oportunidad.

Gracias a mi cobardía y poca confianza jamás seré la razón de tu felicidad.

Miré que empezaste a escribir, me emocioné mucho, pero, no pude decir ni una palabra. Me emocionó saber que dejé algo lindo en ti: las letras, escribir, expresar. Recordé cuando te enseñaba mis poemas y decías yo puedo inspirarte cuando quieras, y no lo sabes, pero ahora estás en muchos de ellos. Te quiere mucho, Karla.

🧷Tips para ayunar🧷

⭐-Planea todo para tu ayuno.

Debes elegir cierta cantidad de horas o días, pensar en eventos futuros, como por ejemplo :si debes asistir a un lugar donde debas comer, apartar la comida de tu camino y día a día (no llevar dinero al salir, mantenerte lejos de la cocina o mantener la cocina sin alimentos con los que puedas atracarte).

Si es posible, opta por consumir vitaminas durante ayunos largos para no sufrir malestares.

⭐-Mentalizate.

Para realizar un ayuno efectivo necesitas ser capaz de establecer en tu mente tu meta y ser capaz de inspirarte constantemente para no fracasar. Evalua la dificultad de tu ayuno y haz lo posible para mantenerte enfocada, sea estando ocupada :organizar actividades o mantenerte inspirada,como por ejemplo mirando thinspo, leyendo blogs, etc... Es decir, tener una fuente que te proporcione energía para continuar con el ayuno.

⭐-No ceder al hambre.

Es evidente que para realizar un ayuno debes manejar el hambre, sin embargo, puede resultar difícil al momento donde tu estómago pide a gritos comida. Debes neutralizar esto (busca la forma de encontrar una distracción para el hambre) y mantente consumiendo agua todo el tiempo que puedas. El hambre parecerá imposible de manejar hasta que logres dominarlo; ahí será cuando tendrás poder sobre tu cuerpo.

⭐-Acepta que en un principio la pasarás mal.

Tu cuerpo manifestará malestar para que lo alimentes; ahí dependerá de tu autocontrol y fuerza de voluntad ceder o no. Quizás sientas náuseas, dolores de cabeza e incluso mareos, pero estos son normales (sobre todo en principiantes) y, como dije anteriormente, pueden ser sobrellevados con vitaminas. Pero si no es posible acceder a ellas, entonces preparate para estos malestares y ten en cuenta que si no puedes más, está bien parar, podrás intentarlo de nuevo en el futuro.

⭐-Utiliza apps de ayuno como apoyo e inspiración para logar ti objetivo.
