Goodness, PRINCESS SOPHIA OF ENGLAND has arrived in London. she is 25, of the HANOVER FAMILY. Though they are RETURNED to the Season, we can only describe them as CHARMING and FUNNY, dear reader. Accompanied by THEIR MOTHER, HER ROYAL HIGHNESS QUEEN ELINOR, they have settled in and are accepting social calls. But be warned: they are known for their MEDDLING NATURE (Ella, 30, BST, She/Her)
Sophia Hanover is the only daughter of Queen Elinor and King Henry, and thus she was seen more as a commodity to those in her father’s court. Growing up, Sophia was given the best education, learning to master the domestic arts as well as the political workings of any royal court. While Queen Elinor wanted the very best for her daughter, Sophia knew that her role was to strengthen the crown through an advantageous political alliance. It was what she was raised to do, but as she grew older, the reality of it crept closer, and Sophia declined any matches that Queen Elinor arranged. Mother and daughter grew apart with Queen Elinor’s insistence and Sophia’s stubbornness to the point where the two hadn’t spoken for three months at one point! King George doted on his daughter before his health declined. Where the Queen was eager to match and marry her daughter off, King George was content to keep her by his side, unofficially as his advisor, though it was more of an excuse to teach Sophia the inner workings of the kingdom.
As her father’s health worsened, Sophia’s time with him went away, and she was left with just her mother. The queen’s desire to have Sophia married heightened so much so that Sophia ran away with her father’s equerry. Sophia wasn’t gone for longer than three days, but it was enough for rumours to start, though the queen had tried her best to silence them. Since then, Sophia had lived in her mother’s cloistered household, often referring to it as a nunnery, though Queen Elinor frequently reminded her daughter that a nunnery held no value to them. Instead, Sophia watched from the sidelines as her mother’s marriage soured, and her eldest brother was married off to a woman no one thought he loved. The House of Hanover were truly a state, though publicly they all supported one another.
1813, Queen Elinor finally had enough of her daughter’s refusal to marry. Bringing her out from the shadows of the queen’s household, Sophia is allowed to take part in this year's social season. Sophia still refuses to marry, but after a year hidden away, Sophia longs to cause nothing but trouble to ruin her mother’s marriage market. With a new anonymous writer documenting all of their scandals, will Sophia survive the season, or will she succumb to her mother's wishes?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀my official, presidential, bathtub manifesto of an introduction
hi. bonjour. buenas.
i am sophia. unless we are soul-bonded, aka mutuals, then you can call me soph (but not in the american or british way sino, soph in the true spanish pronunciation). for the commonfolk: your allowed endearments are 'sophia' for everyday (pronounced exactly how you think diego luna would say it), 'my pearl' for sundays, and 'goddess divine' . . . but only on very special occasions. i am uruguayan-mexican by nature and blood—i literally bleed mezcal and mate. to my knowledge, i'm a pisces and am saddled with catholic guilt. except not really. i'm actually quite a content person.
i'm the dancing queen, only seventeen! i detest that "only" because it is horrid and completely invalidating of the seventeen long and arduous years that i've spent trudging through on this earth. my entire personality is that i live 30-40 minutes away from new york city. i am a mean creature and i am soft as a pillow and i bare my teeth at everything and i am self-righteous in my own right. i also utterly abhor labubus, because i think they are the most exemplary display of consumerism. i am a literary snob and i block people when they irritate me. i don't believe in being tooth-rottingly sweet to people i don't like, and i don't automatically like everyone that i meet. is it bitchy? yes. but i am happy in my way.
there are absolutely no boundaries in my asks. tell me about the spiky shit you took this morning. tell me about your primal need for your lover in your dr. i want to hear it all! actually . . . i take back the shit thing. maybe some things aren't meant to be shared with the world. scratch the whole thing actually. no racism, homophobia, or general disregard for human decency will be tolerated and you will be immediately be blocked sine die. the internet is my favorite form of public transportation. i will talk to anyone unless they reek of elon musk worship or still use 'yas girl' unironically.
space oddity by the starman—david bowie for those of you who lack culture—will always make me cry. as well as de niña a mujer by julio iglesias because it was the song i danced to with my dad on my XV birthday. i do not trust people who do not like olives. grow up. my favorite cocktail at the moment is rebujito because it doesn't taste like alcohol or sprite. i hate carbonated drinks because i don't like the way they are spiky on my tongue. like a million little needles poking my mouth and throat. ew. i cried today for half an hour because i didn't get to visit giverny when i was in france.
if you ever feel lost, just follow the scent of jo malone orange blossom cologne and the overuse of em dashes—i'm probably nearby. this is a dispatch from the center of my storm: a literary exorcism, a diary if that diary had fangs, glitter, and just a whisper of dostoevsky. expect too many metaphors (that i will eventually lose the handle on), tough love, and the occasional shiftblr critique wrapped in pink tulle. i am not mysterious; i am an open book that has been encrypted in tripled caesar cipher. i am not here to be digestible. i am here to be delicious.

How Lucy met Lex
Tumblr media
You know the tale of Superman, but do you know of his beginnings? Smallville. It’s where he grew up with his family, made friends and foes, fell in love, got his education, explored his powers on his own terms, and became the man he is today.
On that very day, when Clark arrived on Earth, the Kent family were already anticipating another child. However, they couldn’t conceive until the meteor shower fell onto Smallville, nearly crashing down everything within it. In that very ship arrived a toddler not older than 2, naked. Martha, Jonathan, and Lucy were turned upside down in shock at the young boy. Lucille Claire Kent was less than 5 but curiously smiled in her daddy’s arms while her mother gently picked up the boy, wrapping him in a red blanket. Jonathan was confused, looking up at the sky as his wife searched for answers, finding Lionel Luthor and his son Lex Luthor amidst the chaos. Clark became warm and gentle, very much in awe of his newfound world.
Lucille, Clark, and Lex all sat in that truck, never to be seen again until later on in high school.
That same day, they met again, after older Lex, almost fresh out of college, knocked his car across a bridge, hitting Clark as the police, firefighters, and ambulance arrived later on. Along with Lucy and their father to see the damage. 48 hours later, a gift was sent to Kent Farm, a gift from Lex for the accident that happened. A car and a necklace. Their father wasn’t the happiest man alive to be seeing these gifts, knowing Clark is still too young to drive around town and Lucy’s jewelry might not even be real, possibly causing her an allergic reaction or something. But the more pressing matters were how Clark was completely fine after that accident!
Their parents knew the possible reason behind that issue, but the siblings were confused as hell. Even going as far as to test out that theory, noticing that Clark runs rather fast, doesn’t get hurt that easily, and etc. He is an alien! As they found out soon enough by their parents.
Later on that week, Lucy arrived at the mansion to find Lex in his office. They never got an actual chance to properly speak to one another. He was dressed in a navy blue sweater, black pants, and dress shoes in comparison to her green and blue flannel, t-shirt, jeans, and black flats along with her favorite hoop earrings.
She stood in the doorway holding up a basket of fruit, knocking on the door to catch his attention. He looked up with a smile, standing up from his chair to greet the young woman, motioning for her to come inside.
“Hi,” she said with her slight raspy voice and giggly smile, “Oh um, your guard let me in.”
He chuckled, “Hey. And yeah, I was going to ask how you got inside.”
“Charm, I guess?”
“I guess so. So, what brings you by?”
“Uh, I just wanted to thank you for the necklace and the truck. But I don’t know why, because it’s not me you crashed into, it was my brother.”
“Yeah, but you looked rather in bad shape as well. I figured a gift could cheer you up and apologize for the accident I caused.”
“Yeah..Dad’s not too happy about that. He thinks you’re just winning us over or something like that.”
He walked with her around the room, taking the small fruit basket out of her hands and placing it on the desk. Lex asked, “Well am I?”
“I’m afraid to say that you won me over,” she replied with a chuckle.
“That was sort of the plan.”
“Well, it worked.”
“You said Clark is your brother, older brother I’m guessing?”
“Oh no, quite the opposite actually. I’m older by two years. He’s a freshman and I’m almost a junior.”
“Wow, really? You both look rather young.”
“Genetics I guess. But you’re rather young yourself.”
The two smiled and chatted, laughing every so often. Taking a liking to each other rather quickly. Lucy could see what Clark, who had already met up with Lex twice, meant by saying he’s a pretty alright person. Charming, kind, strong-minded, well-mannered, rich, and impressive. Lex found himself taking a great fondness to her. He didn’t know if it was because he hadn’t met that many people in Smallville just yet, or what it was. But he found her sweet, silly, charming, open-minded at times, and a bit of a chatterbox. He didn’t mind it at all.
The two became friends within that week.
Little did they know that friendship would soon turn upside down...

How Lucy Met Bruce Wayne Years Later
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, while Clark was off training with his powers, Lucy went to Metropolis to start as a young intern for the Daily Planet. Just picking up coffee and donuts for the staff, assisting with actual reports, picking up dry cleaning, and getting things done in general.
Eventually, Perry White gave her the opportunity to start actually doing more writing and photography than just picking up dry cleaning for the staff. She grinned, working with Jimmy Olsen on a few small pieces for the Daily Planet, getting to deal with the morning greetings and nightly specials collection of the paper.
Finding whatever opportunity for what she deemed as interesting subjects that young folk like her and Jimmy would enjoy. Around that same time, Clark returned home, and she hugged her big brother, suggesting that he get a job at the Daily Planet as well. The Kent Siblings at the Daily Planet!
He accepted her request, deciding to take a crack at it and thinking it would be rather helpful for when he gets his real opportunity to save the lives of many. The moment he arrived at the Daily Planet, he met her. Lois Lane. And he was starstruck the second he saw her, fumbling over his words as the pair spoke. He could practically hear his sister coughing down a few giggles from her desk the entire time. Can you blame her? She found it adorable.
But her moment to become starstruck came only a few short days after her meeting with Perry White. He wanted a few reporters from the Planet to fly over to Gotham Bay to get the latest footage and scoop on the Charity Events being hosted there. Lucy was picked out of all the other reporters, being dragged into the mess with people such as Cat Grant and such.
She always heard about Gotham's modern-day elements with that vintage noir style that made it feel classy. Timeless even.
The moment she arrived at Gotham airport in a hurry to reach her hotel and get a feel for the actual city she would be placed into for the next few days, Lucy bumped shoulders with someone, giving a small sorry not realizing she dropped her sunglasses. Thankfully, the person she bumped into did.
He noticed the simple silver dollar glasses that landed on the floor, calling out, “Excuse me, miss?”
She turned around, hummed quietly facing the person who she assumed called her back there. She pointed to herself to make sure, the man noticed jogging up to her.
Once he did, she got a better glimpse of him. Tall, rich bright blue eyes that are as clear as day, and a soft wide smile. Along with a noticeable mark on his upper cheekbone.
“I believe you dropped these,” he said with a smile holding up the statement sunglasses.
“Oh uh-yes I did,” she replied, fumbling with her bag on her shoulder, smiling softly, “I’m sorry.”
“It’s alright. Things happen.”
“Thank you, Mr…”
“Wayne. Bruce Wayne.”
“Thank you, Mr. Wayne.”
“No problem.”
“Do you need a hand?”
“Uh um, yes please.”
He helped carry the suitcase out the door, as she held her bag. The two smiled, holding up to a 5-minute simple conversation waiting for the taxi to arrive. He opened the door for the lady, placing the suitcase beside her. She closed the door, thanking him once again for the help.
Before the taxi driver could take off, Bruce leaned down facing the window remembering something, “I didn’t get your name.”
“Lucy,” she replied with a smile.
The taxi driver drove off, leaving Bruce Wayne standing there with a smile. He chuckled at the thought, as he heard Alfred call from him saying that his car was ready to take him home. Alfred saw the look on his face, smiling to himself, enjoying the thought of the young man happy for whatever reason.
Two nights later, the Charity Event arrived, Lucy walked in a short gray dress, that had pockets near the front, red pumps, and her hair tied up with pieces hanging out to frame her face. She wasn’t going for anything fancy, just something business casual and professional.
She took tips and quick interviews from people, getting a feel of the Charity Event as well as the people of Gotham. The elite center of men and women asked for photos to be requested in their inboxes, meanwhile other folks gladly spoke to them answering simple questions. Such as Jim Gordon who spoke to her and Cat Grant with such calm intellect that made them feel comfortable during the event.
A few ladies went running around and past them, finding themselves on the other end of the hallway towards the elegant man who walked into the building. Gushing, asking him things, flirting with the man in question, and requesting a few dances on the floorboard. Hell, even Cat Grant rushed over, hoping to snatch him up for a few minutes to herself. All Bruce Wayne could do was laugh and smile, catching a glimpse of the women in the far right corner loudly giggling. They locked eyes, recognizing each other again. She shrugged at the chaos as he mouthed jokingly, ‘help’.
She jokingly mouthed, ‘You’re on your own.’ The woman walked away sipping her drink, grabbing an interview with a few ladies of the jurying party. Some time later, she found herself on the dance floor with a nice blonde billionaire chatting away mid-laugh, until the blue-eyed man from earlier asked if he can cut in.
The pair nodded, as both men switched places. Now her hands were placed securely in his own, as his other gently lay on her waist. Her arm rested above his shoulder with ease.
“So, Mr. Wayne..” She said, being cut off by a smile.
“Bruce. You can call me Bruce.” He replied with a smile.
“Bruce. I see you escaped the attack of the wild she-wolves.”
“Ah, well, you see I’m a master at escaping situations like that one.”
“It’s a gift then, Mr. Wayne.”
Bruce smiled, liking the way it rolled off her tongue, he almost would’ve melted at the sound. His last name came off too sly, tender, and sweetly dressed like a cowboy’s favorite slice of pie on a nice sunny day. She returned the smile, getting lost in his eyes for a moment with a raised eyebrow.
“What? Like what you see?” She teased him with a grin, “Mr. Wayne.”
“Stop that,” he replied with a grin, twirling her around.
“Stop what?”
“The way you say my name, Ms. Kent.”
“Or what?”
“I might have to show you the town and then take you home.”
“A billionaire’s house? No thank you, hon. Wait—I didn’t tell you my last name..”
She landed mid-twirl into his arms, their chests against one another as she let a blush rise to her cheeks.
“It’s on your name tag,” he said with a smile, it was his turn to make her melt a bit tonight.
“Oh um, right,” she added, swaying in place as her eyes landed on his face.
“Yes?”
“I have a question.”
“Go for it.”
“Did you know about me coming here tonight?”
“No, I had no idea they were sending a Daily Planet reporter to Gotham, darling.”
“Fair, are you here for the Charity or free drinks?”
“Oh not exactly, Wayne Enterprises is offering a huge donation to the orphanage and hospitals nearby.”
Lucy smiled hearing that. She remembered hearing from Lois that Gotham men can be trash sometimes, but that's not what she sees. Especially adoring the fact that he was someone with money giving to the less fortunate, it was sweet and showed that he cared.
She smiled softly, “That’s lovely.”
“Now I have a question to ask you.” He added, returning the smile, “If you knew who I was when we met at the airport, would you have thought differently?”
“Hmm, depending on the situation. If I had to rate it, I would’ve given you a 7 for kindness and generosity towards me.”
“I’ll take it. May I say, you’re a good dancer, Ms. Kent.”
“Thank you, Mr. Wayne.”
“You have a slight change in accent, where are you from?”
“Uh, can you guess?”
“Hmm, Tennessee?”
“Close. It’s the southern part of the country, Kansas.”
“Kansas? Never met anyone from there before.”
“Well now you have!”
“It’s my lucky day.”
The pair kept chatting, Lucy being able to get some insight into Wayne Enterprises and the CEO of the company, but still wanting more about Gotham. Bruce found himself very responsive and liking the fact that she didn’t see him as the billionaire or walk away like the other women at the party. His eyes rushed to meet her face, taking it all in.
The two got to know each other fairly well. But it didn’t stop there, as the next morning he showed up at her hotel doorstep requesting to show her the city for the article she was writing. She agreed, following him to the limousine, where Alfred Pennyworth introduced himself graciously.
Little did the pair know that they would be dating afterwards. Spending visits to Gotham and Metropolis, date nights, and meeting friends. That’s how Bruce actually met Clark Kent and Lois Lane. Superman met Batman during those visits, growing respect for one another.
World’s Finest.

Philosophical ask game: Sophia Hess/Emma Barnes. Whichever you’d prefer.
SEND ME A WILDBOW CHARACTER YOU LOVE. I WILL TELL YOU WHICH PHILOSOPHICAL THOUGHT EXPERIMENT YOU SHOULD GET REALLY OPINIONATED ABOUT (SLASH DEVELOP A PSYCHOSEXUAL FIXATION ON)
Fans of Sophia Hess and the rest of the Trio should read Three Versions of Judas by Jorge Luis Borges!
What do I get to be in this story, besides a monster? What purpose do I serve outside of tormenting the savior, bringing her down so she can rise up? My name is an insult, my image invoked to curse at, and yet nothing would've been possible had I not been there. Was I not a key part of the one path, the great plan for salvation? They talk about how the savior sacrificed themselves for everyone. But she got up again to live a second life. The great plan needed someone damned for all time, and I've gotten no resurrection. Tell me whose sacrifice was greater.

Another OC introduction post! This is my KH girl, named Saori. She's from Destiny Islands, and she's very heart is full, head is empty; she's not quite as much of an NPC as Selphie, Wakka and Tidus are but she's not as MC-coded as Sora and his little trio. Let's just say, ah...Sayaka Miki from PMMM and Sayori from DDLC were inspirations for her.
Make of that what you will! There's more art of her to come, this outfit's for her in KH2!

Instagram Intros (Josh & Emma's Kids)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Noah Mitchell Chasez (@noahchasezzz)
DOB: October 27th 1998 Age: 27 years old Hometown: Glencoe, Illinois Nicknames: Noey S/O: Sarah Kreitzer Kids: Gregory Best Friend(s): Gregory Nunez and Lana Tejada Aesthetic: Noah is a lot like his father. Both are very kind and charming, and also pretty shy growing up. He preferred staying at his parent's side, especially during tours. He loved seeing what his father did for a living and loved getting the walk through of backstage and adored copying the dances in the curtain. He was always welcome at the studio and running around with Joey and Lance's boys, Jackson and Carter. His arrival was anticipated every day after daycare. Noah would sit in his father's lap during the recording process and it amazed everyone else, Josh's multitasking skills. Noah could never not make his parents proud. He loved singing, just like his dad and often wrote songs with JC, his first being a 30 second song called Mom Made Spaghetti, a hit with his dad's friends. Josh would indulge in his son's aspirations and record these songs to put on a burnt CD for him to hand out to his parent's friends and family. Noah and Josh were very close in his early years. His son helped Josh mature and get himself out there as a man. He found himself being much more a father figure to others as well, being more family oriented and serious about his work. Noah learned how to play piano with the help of his dad when he was four, and Emma oftentimes found her boys sitting at their grand piano late at night when one or the other couldn't sleep. Music was a constant in the Chasez household. When Noah was fifteen is when he started gaining traction online for his music and blew up with what seemed overnight. A gen-z icon to many.

Jeremy Kingston Chasez (@jeremykings000)
DOB: July 24th 2000 Age: 25 years old Hometown: Glencoe, Illinois Nicknames: Jay, Jere S/O: Audrey Hagan Kids: None Best Friend(s): Marie Nichols Aesthetic: Jeremy is a lot more like his mother compared to his older brother. He is a lot more go with the flow than Noah and Josh, and that's okay. There was constant mayhem when Emma had time off of work and she was left alone with her baby boy. Many times, Josh would come home from the studio and the house was a mess and there in the middle of it was his young son and hyper wife. They were always doing something together. Whether that be cooking, painting, messing around on the piano or guitar, or just bouncing their legs on the couch watching a movie. Whatever it was, there was always movement with those two. Honestly, it was something Josh admired so much from his wife. It gave a healthy balance between the two of them, Josh bringing the calm to their family and Emma bringing the spontaneous, chaotic side. When Andrew Chasez was born, Emma quit her job in order to stay home and take care of the little Chasez boys full time. She had chilled a bit by that time, struggling to keep all her rowdy boys in tow. Jeremy could never have enough though. He would be outside by the lake skipping stones until his dad came to carry him to the dinner table. Jere just had a hard time keeping still and letting himself be bored. Each family member took time out of their day to tend to Jeremy's hyper needs. Emma would colour with him in the mornings, Noah would play hot wheels with him before dinner, and Josh would get him settled for bed with a story while his wife fed their youngest son in bed. It was difficult to manage at some moments, but Emma and Josh wouldn't trade their chaos for all the peace in the world. Besides, once his little sister, Sophia, was born, he had a new friend with similar hyperactive tendencies. That's when Emma and Josh questioned their thoughts on starting a family (jokes!). Double trouble those two were.

Andrew Joel Chasez (@andyjchasez)
DOB: February 11th 2003 Age: 22 years old Hometown: Glencoe, Illinois Nicknames: Andy, Drew, AJ S/O: Lola Kirkpatrick Kids: None Best Friend(s): Cooper Bass, Dalton Fatone, and William Little Aesthetic: Andrew Chasez was born when his parents were quite stressed with life. They now had 3 boys under the age 5 and Josh was trying to kick start his solo career after a gruelling long tour away from his family. Andy always brought light into their lives though. He was a very smiley baby and would giggle at nothing. It was sort of a joke that he could see ghosts, until he got older and gained some good old imaginary friends, then it became creepy. Now, because his dad was always at the studio growing up and his mom had her hands full with three young boys, he spent a lot of time at his Aunt Melissa's house in the city. He was very close with Lola, and was always catching his mom watching them through the window. He didn't think too much of it. Andrew loved travelling with his family and really enjoyed sightseeing with his dad specifically. They would always run off together and go look for boats on the water of wherever they were staying. That was fun for Josh. His son was obsessed with boats and sailing. His wife, Emma, was absolutely terrified of the sea and would never go out on the water, passing down this phobia to her two oldest sons. Andrew and Josh would go down to the lake in the early morning to go sail paper boats together and it was their favourite memories together. Then they would walk up the path to Emma sitting on their back porch, reading a book, sipping her coffee, and two breakfast plates on the table waiting for them. Even now, with Andrew being 22 years old, he stills gets his dad up early when he visits home to go and sit by the water together. They don't even have to talk, sometimes sitting in silence was better than words. He is also known for taking his younger siblings on trips with him, give his parents a break. Quinn and Cole are obsessed with him because of his sporadic vacations.

Sophia Tess Chasez (@sophietxoxo)
DOB: December 19th 2005 Age: 20 years old Hometown: Glencoe, Illinois Nicknames: Soph, Sophie S/O: Ashton Ross Kids: None Best Friend(s): Maribel Holden and Delaney Lynch Aesthetic: The sociable girl she was. Sophia could not stop talking for the life of her. Even as a baby she would babble herself to sleep. In kindergarten she was always told off for not paying attention in class and yapping with her friends in the back. Those friends are her life-long friends, Maribel and Delaney. The three of them were inseparable. Not only did Josh and Emma have their hands full with their own children, but now two adoptive little girls who live down the road. Each weekend they were rotate who's house was the sleepover host, but by the time they reached middle school and home lives got tougher and in the way, Sophia's home seemed like a good go-to. It wasn't uncommon for either parent to have to stop the noise and giddiness coming from their daughter's room in order for anyone in the house to get some sleep. When Maribel and Delaney weren't at the house, Sophie was hanging out with her older brother, Jeremy. They both offset each other's excitable personalities. Soph and Jere were always getting into some mischief together and were each other's partners in crime. Nonetheless, Sophia was a very likeable soul and people flocked towards her openness and kindness. She made friends extremely quickly (though Mari and Laney were her closest) and teachers loved her. She was always willing to help out and was an overachiever like her mother. In high school she was captain of the girl's volleyball team and soccer team, student council president, number one honour roll student, and later her class' valedictorian. Her uncles were there to cheer her on at every single one of her events and would even take her and her siblings out for ice cream so her parent's could have a little "alone time". Speaking of her siblings, she was the best older sister in the world (shocker with her past, I know). She loved her younger brother Ryan especially. He looked up to her for everything and she loved playing baby with him when he was first born. He just naturally took a liking to her and it was adorable to her. She loved showing off Ryan and Maddie at school events when they were just tiny babies in her mother's arms. Sophia was a very proud older sister, still is.

Ryan Samuel Chasez (@ryamuelzz)
DOB: January 6th 2010 Age: 15 years old Hometown: Glencoe, Illinois Nicknames: Ry S/O: No One Kids: None Best Friend(s): Braedon Howell and Dominik Newman Aesthetic: The funniest kid you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. He has such a strange sense of humour and it'll only make sense to a small fraction of people, lucky for him that includes his family. It's not too sure if he has stories or just a funny way of displaying them, either way he is very entertaining while talking. His parents used to laugh at his overuse of hand gestures during conversations, and it hasn't stopped since. Ryan is also the biggest picky eater too. Even at 15, he has yet to truly expand his palette away from just pasta and peanut butter sandwiches. It may be a comfort thing, but it has always made dinner easier on Emma so she doesn't mind too much. His funny way to life was almost used as a cover up for Ryan though. He was pretty insecure for majority of his life and needed away to make himself appeal to others. Now, Ryan Chasez is not a bad looking kid, in fact many would say that he was blessed by his parents with his appearance. He just didn't see it this way. He had surrounded himself with the cool kids like Braedon Howell and Dom Newman in middle school and now feels the need to give himself a purpose in this group. Josh had noticed a shift in his son around 7th grade and wanted to check up on him, but Ryan wasn't having it. He just simply wasn't the kind to open up about his feelings the same way his father had gotten his older brother Andrew to open up. Ryan would just laugh the worry off and make it seem like nothing. Sophia was the only one who could get a crack on the kid. She had this motherly way to her, so that when she would talk to her baby brother, he just let the flood gates to his brain go loose. Josh was never more grateful for his happy-go lucky daughter in his life. He was so sappy watching his little girl help her brother out in a way that he knew needed to happen for a long time. Ryan's parents were forever proud of their kids and how fortunate they were to raise such good people.

Madeleine Jordan Chasez (@maddieeinthea.m)
DOB: January 6th 2010 Age: 15 years old Hometown: Glencoe, Illinois Nicknames: Maddie, Mads S/O: Emery Mullen Kids: None Best Friend(s): Sydney French Aesthetic: Daddy's girl alert!!! Madeleine was attached to her dad by the hip the minute she came into this world. She adored everything her father did. He loved having a little girl who was as obsessed with as he was her. It didn't help that baby Maddie was Emma's carbon copy. She had the biggest brown eyes and a sweet smile that made her parent's swoon. Madeleine was very popular for her gorgeous looks from a young age. People started to take note that she was just the most beautiful child in the world. So many would stop her mom or dad on the street just to compliment them on having such a stunning daughter. Boy did that boost her confidence up to 100%. Of course, she heard it all the time from her parents and nana and papa, but it was different when it was strangers. Maddie somehow managed to convince her dad to let her do state pageants when she was in 2nd grade, and she would always make it pretty far in the race. Her mom was there to make sure everything was going smoothly while her dad sat in the audience with her siblings. It came as a shock to Josh and Emma when they found themselves being pageant parents, but how could they say no to their little girl, their last daughter. When she was 9 she was scouted by a modelling agency who was looking for younger models they could train. Her mom and dad were against it, and wanted her to wait until she was older and could grasp the responsibility a bit better. Madeleine was infuriated by this decision. She didn't talk to her parents for two weeks after that confrontation. When she was 14, she was scouted once again and was finally given the option to agree or not. She with a doubt signed those papers in a heartbeat (not without mom and dad reading over them first). She especially looked up to her brother's girlfriend, Lola, for advice in modelling. They became the best of friends and Lily helped her throughout her journey and put some words in for her to land bigger gigs. Maddie is pretty famous now on her own, and everyone is anticipating for when she's old enough to do some major things in the fashion industry.

Quentin Peter Chasez
DOB: May 14th 2017 Age: 8 years old Hometown: Glencoe, Illinois Nicknames: Quinn, Q, Quinny S/O: No One Kids: None Best Friend(s): Hayden Kirkpatrick Aesthetic: Another easy-loving baby. Quentin never cried, never got angry, and instead chose to just sit and stare into space. He is very kind and thoughtful, known to share everything. Quinn is best known in his house to feed everyone before himself. No one knows where he got this from, maybe watching his mom dish up dinner for everyone before herself, but it's an interesting thing to watch play out. The only time you could catch Quinny cry was if he couldn't say goodnight and love you to his family members before bedtime. Another weird ritual he has, and this includes the Chasez' dog and cat, Marlo and Kitty, and each and every one of his stuffed animals. Sometimes goes as far as making his parents call up his grandparents to say love you night. Him and his twin brother are polar opposites actually. It's the cutest thing, because even as babies they would bicker back and forth. As babies, they were not yet planned and were raised very carefree. His mom and dad had gone through this time and time before and knew what to expect and knew not to overreact to little things in their babies lives. He and Cole definitely got the softer side of their parents which was nice.

Cole Gabriel Chasez
DOB: May 14th 2017 Age: 8 years old Hometown: Glencoe, Illinois Nicknames: C, Cece, Coley, Coleslaw S/O: No One Kids: None Best Friend(s): Hayden Kirkpatrick Aesthetic: The youngest and final Chasez was, surprise surprise, hyper as hell. Like previously mentioned, he and Quinn are complete opposites. We have Quinn who prefers to stay quiet and empathetic, and than we have Cole who is much more rowdy and upbeat. Cole practically lives at the playground down the street, where he meets up with his just as energetic friend, Hayden Kirkpatrick. Josh and Chris have recently found themselves setting up playdates every afternoon after school to let their boys get their jitters out before it's time to pack up and go home. Cole is still a very good kid, just has trouble finding an equal balance. There's not much else to say about Cole Chasez.

so oliver aka florence got together with this beautiful woman named elena sophia and i just AAA i love how they're both so sophisticated name-wise but so badass at the same time. fucking love both of them sm.
the lore is that oliver (florence) had a pair of fraternal twin with his first wife, eva. hwoever, eva was a bitch and divorced him to leave with her high school sweetheart. oliver didn't really mind at that point bc he was so tired of her bullshit and raised the twins on his own.
afterwards, he started becoming himself again: he dyed his hair from plain jet black to bleached white and soon went to work in the pediatric wing. after he started feeling himself again, he just focused on raising the twins and living his life as a doctor. however, soon he met a new doctor that had just transferred from another country: elena sophia. they both hung out often as colleagues did and they could feel that something was clearly happening, however oliver was scared to take a step forward due to his kids. however bro, his kids who were already 14 called out his bullshit by saying that he should get a grip and ask her out.
so he did !! and now they're married with another child. the twins love her too. everything is fine.

Superpowers Story Introduction
Determined to step out of the shadow of his mother’s legacy, Mathias joined the police department’s tech support team. He wanted to honour his father’s legal ways of making a living, rather than falling into the trap of his mother’s persistence that joining her would be better for everybody. However, when people with Abilities start causing havoc in the city, and Matt’s best friend needs his assistance in fighting it, Mathias begins to realise that perhaps his option wasn’t actually as easy as he’d first hoped; and a chance meeting makes him question exactly where the lines really are.
Taking over the family business was always part of the plan for Gabe following his uncle’s departure. It was something he’d been training for, but hoped he wouldn’t have to step up into for a long while because he was happy with being the planner of the group. Happy taking orders from his father and continuing to learn from him. But, when the gang return to a city sooner than they could ever have imagined, Gabe is willing to take on the extra responsibility with his father’s support.  Even if not everybody might agree with some of his actions.
The family gang was one of those things that Robbo always assumed he had to be a part of. Sure, he’d been told plenty of times that he didn’t have to stay, that he could go off and be a civilian – even if he only tried it for a few months of sabbatical. Never before had he really had a reason to contemplate leaving it all behind. Until a chance meeting at the local ice rink, and the reminder of just how dangerous it is to be a part of the Laverna gang, make him wonder what life could be.
Being a teleporting criminal was one of those things Sophia quickly realised would help the family gang in a way she wasn’t going to let slip them by, even if it meant having to hide it in the hopes of not getting negative attention from gangs who might accuse them of belittling the talents they’d all spent years honing. But, when a struggle for power in a city that was once a Laverna stronghold breaks out, Sophia quickly learns that sometimes having an Ability comes with tougher choices than simply not using them.
For as long as she could remember, Ruby had had Abilities. She’d never had any real reason to use them, and for her own safety her family had always suggested that she keep them hidden. However, when everyday people started to find themselves with Abilities, and varying degrees of responsibility with how to use them came to the fore, Ruby quickly realises that sitting idly by isn’t something she can wilfully do. With the help of her best friend, Mathias, Ruby tries to figure out how exactly she can help without putting the people she cares most about into danger.
Moving into the city with his cousin was one of those things Jonny did in the hopes of making life for the young man easier. The promotion offered to him with the transfer didn’t harm matters either. But what he hadn’t expected was to find himself dealing with Abilities, or the sheer number of them in the city. Partnered with a young woman who appears to have a vendetta against them, but cares when hearing about bad things happening to them in the news, Jonny slowly begins to realise that there’s more to the city than he’d initially thought.

❚ ❚ ❚ ❚ ❚ ❚ ❚ ❚ 𓍢 H.S.K.T huh yunjin x reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
🥣⊹ ❝have you seen a woman like this before? I got what you need❞ - lee hi
↳ warnings idol!au, katseye!yn, swearing, fluff, cuteness I promise no angst
yunjin would never admit to being a playgirl or bad at relationships, but anyone who’s been involved with her would likely tell a different story.
she just couldn’t bring herself to commit to anyone. being an idol meant constantly being on the move, and she never felt the need to be tied down. with that mindset, she’d definitely broken a few hearts along the way, earning herself a bit of a reputation.
and she never really cared about the reputation, why should she? at least people knew what they were getting into. so what if she’d broken a few hearts? that wasn’t her problem. it’s not like she was looking to commit to anyone anyway.
boy, did those words bite her in the ass.
when yunjin first laid her eyes on yn it was through her introduction for the dream academy, she was pretty, like idol pretty, yunjin knew right away that fans would be drawn to her and vote for her without a doubt.
and seeing yn in person? don’t even get her started. yunjin was mesmerized. she vividly remembers stumbling over her words every time their eyes met while giving the girls advice, earning confused looks from her members.
hybe idols weren’t allowed to vote for contestants, but that didn’t stop yunjin from secretly voting for yn in every mission.
she was drawn to yn, so drawn that she completely lost it when she found out yn had secretly swapped numbers with sakura to get advice from someone who’d been in the industry for years.
“give me her number,” yunjin demanded, glaring at the older member, who looked at her like she’d grown two heads.
“no.”
“why?” yunjin whined, throwing herself face first into a pillow.
“because I know you,” sakura said firmly. “and I’m not letting you mess with this innocent girl.”
“wha—wha—” yunjin sputtered, lifting her head in protest.
“I said no,” sakura repeated, her tone leaving no room for argument.
yunjin needed another way to get in contact with yn. she spent weeks trying to figure it out, but every option seemed like a dead end. the contestants had their dms turned off on instagram, so that was out of the question.
but then the day finally came yn’s name was announced. the smile that spread across yunjin’s face in that moment was impossible to miss.
the plan was simple and smooth. she’d slide into yn’s dms, shower her with compliments, casually suggest that yoonchae and eunchae should exchange numbers and be friends, butter her up a little, and boom, yn would be on a plane to korea to visit her.
let’s just say it did not go as smoothly as she hoped.
she was hit with this.
sakura told me not answer you.
charming but now that I’m under hybe I’ve heard about you jennifer…
I’ll give you yoonchae’s number for eunchae tho 🫶
yunjin couldn’t believe it, her playgirl reputation was finally catching up to her, just as she was starting to see where something could actually go with someone.
nah.
she refuses to let this get in the way of her getting that girl.
she just needed another plan.
“unnie you sound crazy.” eunchae said watching yunjin pace in front of her.
“I sound crazy, genius,” yunjin shot back. “so here’s the plan you’re going to find out from yoonchae when they start doing promotions in korea, and you’re also going to slip in some nice things about me. can you do that?”
“uh…”
“if yoonchae approves of me, that’ll help. but I’m worried about sophia—she’s the one I need to win over. I’ll text her, make myself seem perfect... they all seem kinda protective of her, don’t they? I just need an in. I’m charming, I can easily win her over. and then there’s sakura unnie—she’s getting in the way,” yunjin rambled, already plotting her next move.
Tumblr media
yunjin was determined to make her move. when katseye finally arrived in korea for their promotional activities, she wasted no time.
every day, she tried something new whether it was a flirty comment, a lingering touch, or a perfectly timed compliment but each time, someone would interrupt, and it always seemed like the universe was conspiring against her.
it started the very first day, in the hallway of the music show venue. yunjin was walking towards the stage when she spotted yn in the distance, standing by the snack table, talking to megan and manon. she couldn’t resist. she approached with a confident stride, a mischievous glint in her eye.
"hey yn," yunjin said smoothly, leaning in just a little too close, "you’ve been looking even more pretty since you got here."
yn raised an eyebrow but didn't seem fazed. "oh? is that so?"
before yunjin could reply, she heard a voice from behind her. "yunjin, stop bothering her," sakura called out from the other side of the hallway, arms crossed, her usual stern expression on her face. "can’t you see she’s busy?"
yunjin shot a frustrated look at sakura, who was already guiding yn back towards the group, while manon and megan followed, yunjin sighed and glanced at the floor, cursing under her breath.
Tumblr media
later that night, after a long day of rehearsals, the two groups went out to eat at a popular bbq spot.
yunjin made sure to sit as close to yn as possible, her hand casually brushing against hers when she reached for the sauce. she smiled at yn, her usual flirtatious charm back in full force.
"you know, it’s funny," yunjin began, her voice low as she leaned in just a bit. "I’ve been thinking about you a lot. it's like you’ve got some sort of pull on me."
yn turned to her, playing with her chopsticks, a teasing grin creeping across her face. "oh really? and what kind of pull is that?"
just as yunjin was about to answer, a loud voice interrupted them. "yunjin, you’re blocking the sauce," kazuha said, not looking up from her plate, though she clearly noticed the interaction.
yunjin let out a long sigh, slumping in her seat. "seriously? can’t you guys let me have a moment?"
yn chuckled, clearly amused by yunjin’s frustration. "I’ve been complaining about you interrupting me all day but seems like you’re the one being interrupted."
"yeah, no kidding," yunjin muttered, but she didn’t give up. every glance she sent yn’s way was full of intent.
Tumblr media
a couple of days later, they all went out to a late night cafe after finishing their schedule.
the atmosphere was more relaxed, all the girls scattered in little groups and yunjin took the opportunity to close in once again. she spotted yn sitting with manon and sophia laughing at something, and made her way over.
"sophia, you mind if I steal yn for a minute?" yunjin asked, flashing a bright smile at the girl, who seemed a little too amused by the situation.
"sure," sophia said, almost too casually getting up from her seat, she gave yn a knowing look before waving her off. "but remember, she’s not just anyone." manon added in a teasing voice, following behind sofia.
yunjin’s grin only widened as she slid into the seat beside yn. "I don’t need to be told twice," she said, her tone playful.
"wow, you’re persistent," yn teased, nudging yunjin lightly with her elbow.
"that’s because I know how to handle challenges," yunjin replied with a smirk. "and you are quite the challenge."
just as the conversation was taking a more flirty turn, eunchae wandered over, almost dragging yoonchae behind her. "isn’t it late?" eunchae asked, eyeing the two of them suspiciously. "yunjin unnie, we have practice early tomorrow."
yunjin rolled her eyes but stood up, a playful grin on her face. "I guess this isn’t meant to be."
yn watched her with amusement in her eyes. "maybe you’ll get your moment eventually," she teased, though her tone was softer, almost encouraging.
Tumblr media
days passed, and yunjin’s frustration grew. she kept trying to get yn alone, but every time, something or someone would pop up. and then, just a couple of days before katseye was scheduled to return to la, it happened.
yunjin found herself alone with yn, just the two of them walking down the hallway, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect.
"yn," yunjin said, her voice suddenly serious. "I know my reputation isn’t the best. I’ve got this whole image.. but I want you to know... I want you. and I want this. I know it’s a mess, but I can’t stop thinking about you. since I first saw you on that introduction screen, I haven’t been able to get you out of my mind."
yn paused, her smile faltering for just a moment. she leaned against the wall, crossing her arms “you’ve got quite the reputation yunjin, I’m kind of scared.”
yunjin’s heart raced. "I’m not playing games, yn. I’m serious. just... let me show you. let me prove it."
yn bit her lip, her eyes searching yunjin’s face for sincerity. after a long pause, she finally spoke, her voice playful but knowing. "alright, one chance, yunjin. but that’s all you get."
“one chance is all I need.” yunjin said a sly smile making its way to her face.
"just know, you're gonna be the one telling everyone about us," yn replied, her tone teasing. "no one actually thought i'd give in, it’s just been all fun and games for them.”
the smile on yunjin's face faltered, her confidence momentarily slipping. "what?"
yn's grin widened as she took a step back, glancing over her shoulder. "have fun telling sakura," she sang, her voice light with amusement.
and with that, yn turned and walked ahead, leaving yunjin standing in the hallway.
“shit.”

one shared bed, a tempting agreement and a wedding halfway across the world - what could possibly go wrong?
fake bf! jungkook x fake gf! reader
warnings: not rlly anything yet, mentions of sex, the next parts will most probably be explicit, heavily inspired by the movie anyone but you, i did not proofread this ( please forgive me if there’s any mistakes), this is just an introduction, the next parts will be much more interesting i promise. love uuu 😘
part two
_
The moment you met Jungkook, you did not like him. Lily was your trusted friend, but to this day, you held a grudge against her for introducing you to Jungkook.
Cocky. Annoying. Infuriating. Those were the words you would use to describe him.
He had just gotten back from a semester abroad in Australia when you first met him at a function organized by Lily. You immediately thought he was handsome, of course.
He had that glowy tan that couldn’t possibly have come from Chicago.
Your fiancé, Tariq, wasn’t free to attend the event with you, so Jungkook assumed you were single and hit you with the single most embarrassing pickup line you had ever heard.
“Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again?”
You practically shoved your ring finger in his face and told him something like, “And even if I weren’t engaged, do not think for a second that this line would’ve worked on me.”
You had to admit, this mutual dislike—or ‘beef,’ as Lily would call it—was more one-sided than anything; Jungkook didn’t dislike you; he simply enjoyed teasing you.
The more you hung around each other, the more you never knew if he was simply trying to get a reaction out of you or if he was genuinely flirting.
It was always a push and pull with him.
You didn’t give it too much thought, though; you were with Tariq during those times, and you couldn’t have cared less about Jungkook’s opinion of you.
But ever since you called off your engagement, you had been… different. Your whole life had been structured, planned out, leading toward a future that, for the longest time, you thought you wanted: a house, a stable marriage, the predictability of it all. But you realized there were other ways to lead much more fulfilling lives. So you broke it off.
And now you tried being freer, more open to new things, and more inclined to say yes to things you wouldn’t have before.
That’s why, when you locked eyes with Jungkook that night at the club, you didn’t feel like looking away.
So, you hooked up. One minute you were still in the club, playing your usual game of push and pull, and the next, he was playfully tugging at the hem of your dress while trying not to get into a car accident.
Then, you found yourself pressed against the wall of his bathroom, his hands gripping your soft waist with a sense of urgency while he kissed you hard.
“This is a bad idea,” you whispered against his mouth.
“Probably,” he murmured before kissing you again.
He was good, and you hated it, but you hated even more that you shared moments of intimacy beyond sex that night; after the sex, he made you a late-night snack, and there was something about him that made you feel like you could tell him anything and everything.
So, you did. And you felt a connection, you weren’t going to lie, but it scared you.
The next morning, you remembered waking up before him and just fleeing.
No goodbye. No explanation.
But since he had not texted or called you afterward, you assumed he did not care.
It was just a one time thing.
---
Your good friend, Lily, and her long-term fiancée, Sophia, were finally getting married.
Not in good old Chicago or some other easily accessible city, but in Australia.
Australia was never on your travel list. Not because you weren’t convinced it was a beautiful place, but because its beauty couldn’t distract you from the heat, the bugs, and the disgusting, undiscovered creatures they have down there. Not to mention how far away it was.
You understood the sentiment behind their choice; Sophia grew up in Sydney, and her parents owned a beach house there.
But it wasn’t just that.
You could already guess who was invited, given your close friendship with Lily, and while you were okay with most of them, there were a few candidates you would rather not see.
Like Jungkook, for example.
And though you hoped they would leave the topic alone for those two weeks, Lily’s parents, who had known you for a very long time, were entirely too invested in your decision to break it off with Tariq, and that worried you.
But you were just going to accept it and see what awaited you.
---
Tariq was your first everything. Somehow, every memory you had of your childhood included him. It was as if you could not escape him, yet you also did not want to.
He was always going to be a part of who you fundamentally were. He was the man who made you believe that you deserved to be loved fiercely. He was the man who introduced you to new things and pushed you to be your best.
He was the only thing you ever knew.
From when you were both just six years old, your parents would tell you that you were going to get married. Tariq was your neighbor, one of the only ones your age, so naturally, you gravitated toward him; playing outside and sharing secrets in his little treehouse.
You did love him, and your dream since childhood was to marry him, but you never accounted for dreams changing. Nobody ever told you that dreams could suddenly shift. That feeling of change scared and stressed you deeply.
You did not know what to do; the things that you used to love doing with him became exhausting, and the things that used to excite you didn’t anymore. Your entire outlook on life and your relationship completely changed. Your relationship was healthy; he treated you well, and during the time leading up to your decision to end the engagement, you tried to tell yourself you needed nothing more than that—that you were ungrateful for wanting something different.
You were supposed to be married within a couple of months after finishing college, but one day, you interrupted Tariq’s rant about your wedding venue with a sudden, “I don’t want to marry you.”
From then on, it was pure awkwardness and constant justifications; after the breakup, you avoided him and his family as much as you could, but somehow, that wasn’t the hardest part.
It was your own parents who really did it for you, constantly bringing Tariq up and faulting you for not staying with him, barely trying to understand your feelings and reasoning.
It affected you more than they knew.
So perhaps a trip to Australia, far away from home, would do you good.
---
The house was gorgeous.
A sprawling estate with a massive backyard, a view overlooking the ocean, and more rooms than you could count. You had to admit, Sophia’s parents had taste.
“Yn!! Heyyy,” Lily came running up to you, immediately pulling you into her arms as soon as she saw you. “How are you? How was the flight? You must be starving.”
You put your luggage down. “I’m good, the flight was okay, but I really need a shower.”
Lily immediately nodded in understanding but pointed to the other room.
“Just come greet the others, and then I’ll take you to your room,” she said, taking your hand and practically dragging you to the rest of the guests who had already arrived.
You recognized most of the people in the room.
Lily’s parents, her sister, Sophia, and another older couple whom you assumed were Sophia’s parents. You greeted them all charmingly, even though you were dying for that shower.
Lily had mentioned that the house was reserved for the most important guests and the rest of the guests were staying at nearby hotels.
But there was a girl standing there whom you did not recognize. She was beautiful.
“Hey,” you offered her your hand and smiled, which she immediately shook. “I’m Yn.”
The girl smiled sweetly and said, “I’m Chaerin.”
---
When Lily finally showed you to your room, you took it all in first; it was gorgeous, huge, and it had an in-room bathroom. You truly did not need anything more than that.
You immediately hopped into the shower and scrubbed off the 20-hour flight.
Clad only in your underwear, you exited the adjoining bathroom and saw a relaxed Jungkook lying on the huge bed, flipping through channels.
What the heck was he doing there, in your assigned room?!
You knew he was going to be attending the wedding and staying at the house, but not like this.
“What are you doing here?” you asked in a shocked tone, immediately covering yourself with your hands.
Jungkook simply smirked at you, his eyes not leaving your curves. “I guess we’re sharing a room… and you can drop the hands; it’s nothing I haven’t seen before.”
You were just about to respond to his smug comment when you realized what he said before.
“What??” you exclaimed. “What do you mean we’re sharing a room? There’s literally only one bed in here.”
You put on an oversized white shirt and put your hair in a quick ponytail before putting your hands on your hips and looking at Jungkook accusingly.
“Relax,” was his reaction. “It’s really not that big a deal. I don’t have a problem with it; we slept in a bed together before.”
Irritation started rising in your body; you hated his nonchalant attitude. In fact, you hated him. It was annoying how he suddenly showed up out of the blue, how he was able to handle every embarrassing situation by not being embarrassed.
The fact that he didn’t contact you after your night together crept its way back into your mind, leaving a bitter taste.
Yes, you had left before he even woke up, but that was just a fuckboy move, and everybody knew that it was the guy who had to text the girl first.
You didn’t make the rules.
He was just not your type of person. You often felt like you were polar opposites, and that was the reason you disliked him. You envied that carelessness.
You hated that his presence took you back to the night you spent together when his skilled hands were all over your body, refusing to let go.
“It’s amazing and great that you don’t have a problem, but I definitely do,” you countered, huffing slightly. “I’m going to talk to Lily about this.”
As soon as you said those words, you exited the room, Jungkook surprisingly following behind you.
You found Lily in the kitchen, making coffee while happily humming.
“Lily… we need to talk to you,” you approached her. “I think there’s some sort of mistake because he thinks we have to share a room, but I’m sure you just gave him these keys accidentally.”
Lily’s stance suddenly became awkward, and her face told you everything you needed to know.
“I’m sorry, Yn,” she started after taking a sip of her coffee. “There’s not enough room for everybody, and I thought since you two hooked up before, you wouldn’t have a problem sharing a room.”
Her logic irritated you greatly, but what truly aggravated you was the fact that she didn’t care to ask you beforehand.
You scoffed, crossing your arms. “That’s not how it works, Lily. Just because we hooked up once doesn’t mean we’re suddenly comfortable sharing a bed for two whole weeks.”
Lily gave you an apologetic look, but you could tell she wasn’t going to budge. “I know, I know,” she said, setting her mug down on the counter. “But we had to make some compromises. My parents insisted on inviting a few last-minute guests, and there’s just… no other option.”
You opened your mouth to argue, but Jungkook beat you to it. “Wait, last-minute guests?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.
Lily hesitated. “Yeah, um…” She glanced between you two, as if she was debating whether to say it.
You narrowed your eyes. “Lily.”
She sighed. “Tariq’s coming.”
Your stomach dropped.
You weren’t sure if it was because of the jet lag or the sheer absurdity of the situation, but for a second, you thought you misheard her. “I’m sorry—what?”
Lily winced. “My parents invited him.”
You blinked, your mind going blank. “Your parents… invited Tariq?”
“As a last-minute guest,” she clarified weakly.
Your ex-fiancé. The man you had nearly married. The man you hadn’t spoken to in months. The man you were definitely not prepared to see here, on the other side of the world, while you were rooming with Jungkook of all people.
“What the actual fuck, Lily?”
“I know, I know,” she groaned, rubbing her temples. “Trust me, I tried to talk them out of it. But you know how they are! They’ve known Tariq forever; they still think of him as part of the family. They just… thought it’d be nice to have him here.”
“Nice?” You let out a humorless laugh. “Nice for who? Certainly not for me.”
Jungkook, who had been silent up until now, let out a low chuckle. “Damn,” he muttered. “This just keeps getting better and better.”
You shot him a glare. “Oh, shut up.”
He smirked but didn’t push it. Instead, he leaned against the counter, arms crossed over his chest. “So, when’s he getting here?”
Lily hesitated.
“Lily.”
“…Tonight.”
You groaned, dragging a hand down your face. Of course. As if the universe wasn’t already hell-bent on ruining your peace, you had less than four hours to mentally prepare for seeing Tariq again.
“Look,” Lily said gently, “if it makes you feel better, I doubt he’ll be weird. I mean, from what I heard, he’s been doing fine.”
Your stomach twisted at that, but you forced yourself to act indifferent. You left him, so you should be glad that he was feeling fine. “Good for him.”
Lily eyed you, unconvinced, but mercifully didn’t press the issue.
Jungkook, however, was watching you with an unreadable expression. You could feel the weight of his gaze, the way he was assessing you. Like he was trying to figure out just how much this actually bothered you.
And the worst part? He probably could.
“Well,” he finally said, clapping his hands together. “Sounds like we’re in for a fun time.”
You shot him another glare, but your stomach was still a mess of nerves, your mind racing with everything that could go wrong.
Tariq was coming.
And you had no idea how you were supposed to handle it.
---
Despite your irritation, the house and the wedding atmosphere were undeniably beautiful. The warm sun, the sound of waves in the distance, and the way everyone lounged around in swimsuits made it feel like a dream vacation.
Two weeks without work and the busy streets of Chicago were simply what dreams were made of.
Which is why you were now in a tiny bikini that barely concealed anything, sprawled out on a sunbed, trying to relax and ignore the fact that Jungkook was shirtless only a few feet away.
You weren’t going to let him take up space in your mind. You had enough to deal with—your ex-fiancé would be arriving very soon, and you weren’t ready for that confrontation.
But then, Jungkook had to ruin your peace.
“So,” he began, speaking in a way that let you know he was about to say something irritating, “you talk about me?”
You cracked an eye open, frowning at him. “What are you talking about?”
“Lily,” he said, lazily dragging his gaze over your curvy body. “You told her we hooked up.”
You scoffed, your face heating up involuntarily. “I do not talk about you. For your information, it is very normal to tell your girlfriends about these types of things. You wouldn’t get it, XY chromosome.”
His smirk deepened as he let out a loud laugh. “Still. Just admit you talk about me a lot.”
You huffed sassily. “You’re insufferable.”
“And you’re fun to tease,” he replied easily, tilting his head back to enjoy the sun.
You tried to ignore him.
Tried to focus on the warmth against your skin and not on the fact that he looked fine as hell shirtless.
---
To Jungkook, Chaerin was the sun.
She introduced him to feelings he never knew, made him look at the world through rose-colored glasses. She was his motivation and his dream girl.
Chaerin was always the life of the party; she knew exactly what to do to cheer him up and make him forget all his troubles. She was so sweet, so pretty, so perfect—something he always wanted to protect, someone he could never get tired of, even if he tried, which he never would.
If comparing her to another girl came in question, Jungkook would laugh. There was truly no girl that could compare to his Chaerin.
They met through Lily when he was studying abroad in Australia. Chaerin was Lily’s roommate at the time, but she moved back to Chicago with her now fiancée, Sophia, which led to Jungkook taking her place as Chaerin’s roommate.
After that, they became closer and closer.
Chaerin immediately knew about Jungkook’s infatuation with her. She loved that he had a soft spot for her. She loved that his eyes lit up when he would see her. She loved the way he treated her as if she were the only person in the entire world. She loved the fact that he loved her.
Jungkook loved so very deeply. He put all his energy and effort into making sure she felt safe and loved. He was never caught lacking.
They became a couple, but that was short-lived. At one point, Chaerin went back to Korea for a while, leaving Jungkook alone with his thoughts in Australia for the last few months of his semester abroad.
He loved Chaerin when she was in his arms, and he loved her when she was gone. He loved her when she was distant, when she was unsure, and when she gave him nothing to work with. Nothing Chaerin could do would change the way Jungkook viewed her.
She was an angel.
She never called back after. He would see her posts on social media; she was happy, glowing, and living her best life. He was happy for her, but it hurt him to be so trivial in her life that she so easily forgot him.
A long line of unopened text messages was Jungkook’s last straw; he would not text or call her again.
Over time, his feelings for her weakened, and his attempts to forget how she made him feel were semi-successful.
But somehow, seeing her in front of him again, any leftover anger dissolved into thin air; he was just happy to see his Chaerin again.
“Hi,” the simple word left his lips, but his eyes spoke a thousand words more.
Chaerin softly smiled at him before unexpectedly throwing her small body into his. He immediately wrapped his strong arms around her and inhaled her peony scent.
“Hey,” she whispered against him. “I missed you, Jungkook.”
Those words meant more than the world to him.
As they broke off the hug, his hands were still on her shoulders.
“I missed you too,” he admitted sheepishly. “So… what have you been up to?”
“I’ve been good…” Chaerin spoke, her usual sweetness evident. “I got bored of Seoul, so I thought I’d come back to Sydney for a while.”
Jungkook was not surprised by that; he knew Chaerin was an indecisive person.
“Well… it’s really good to see you again,” he stated before removing his hands from her shoulders.
Chaerin simply smiled, but that was enough to make Jungkook melt.
---
You were all ready for dinner; you had put on an elegant blue dress that beautifully pronounced your body and stepped out of the room with newfound confidence.
Lily and her dad were setting the table while her mom watched over them, making sure everything was perfect for Tariq.
“Yn, you must feel weird attending a wedding after everything,” Lily’s mom spoke, not particularly taunting, just very audaciously.
Lily’s parents had always felt like you were their own daughter, which came with immense love and warmth that you always appreciated, but it unfortunately also included their entitlement to your privacy. You loved them regardless, but it did annoy you.
The tension was thick; Tariq could enter at any moment, Lily’s parents couldn’t stop mentioning how “Tariq is the perfect guy for any girl,” and you sat silently, not allowing yourself to say something that you might regret later.
“Yn was actually the one to break it off, so… I don’t see how she’d feel weird,” Jungkook suddenly defended you, irritation evident in his voice.
You froze at his words. They didn’t shock you, per se; it was simply a little unexpected. The rest of the people in the room exchanged looks of something unexplainable.
Chaerin looked between you and Jungkook with questioning eyes before reverting her gaze back to what she was doing.
Lily’s mom wore a puzzled expression on her face, confused as to why Jungkook felt the need to defend you so harshly. “It’s not about who broke up with whom; it’s about the principle. I know yn has always dreamt of being a bride.”
You knew she didn’t mean any harm, but your cheeks warmed in embarrassment at her statement. Jungkook looked at you from the side with slightly furrowed brows, while Chaerin awkwardly coughed.
“People change,” you pointed out, brushing a few strands of hair behind your ear. “And I’m truly okay; I promise. I do not regret my decision, but I kind of don’t want this topic to come up again, especially when Tariq gets here.”
Before Lily’s mom could respond, the doorbell rang, and Sophia quickly got up to open it.
“Perfect timing,” Sophia mumbled as she brushed her hands on her linen pants and walked toward the front door.
You sat up straighter in your chair, pushing a loose strand behind your ear again just to do something. Your stomach tightened as you heard the familiar, polite tone of Sophia greeting him: “Tariq! So good to see you.”
Then the front door closed, footsteps echoed down the hall, and suddenly, there he was.
Tariq stepped into the dining area with the same composed, polished energy he always carried. Tall, clean-cut, his curls a little longer than you remembered, with that annoyingly perfect posture. He smiled when his eyes landed on you; somehow, that made you feel worse.
“Yn,” he said, warm and casual, like no time had passed, exactly like he used to say it. “You look beautiful.”
You stood up halfway, lips curving into a polite smile that didn’t reach your eyes. “Hey. You look good too.”
Your eyes darted toward Lily, who was nervously fiddling with the edge of a placemat, and then to her parents, who were beaming as if their own son had returned.
Jungkook muttered something under his breath that you didn’t catch, but you felt the heat of his eyes grazing over your chest again. You didn’t even need to look. You could feel it: slow, deliberate, amused.
You subtly turned toward him. “Eyes up,” you murmured.
He just smirked, leaned in slightly, and whispered, “Can’t help it when you wear that.”
You rolled your eyes and sat back down, but your face betrayed you with a small smile. You hated that he always managed to get a reaction out of you; you hated it even more that part of you didn’t hate the attention.
Tariq took the seat across the table from you, and for a moment, the room fell into a stiff, formal kind of silence. Lily’s dad tried to break it by pouring wine; Sophia made herself busy adjusting place cards that didn’t need adjusting. Chaerin kept sneaking glances at Jungkook, her expression unreadable.
“So,” Lily’s mom said, trying to brighten the mood. “Tariq, how was the flight?”
“Yes, ma’am,” he replied. “Everything went smoothly. This house is beautiful, by the way.”
“Oh, stop,” she blushed, clearly delighted. “We’re just glad you could make it, you’ll be sleeping in the room facing ours. And yn—” she turned back to you, and your stomach braced again, “You and Jungkook are sharing a room, yes?”
You hesitated, then nodded slowly. “Yeah. Apparently, there weren’t enough rooms.”
Tariq raised his brows at that but didn’t comment. You knew he was itching to say something.
Chaerin, though, lifted her gaze. “Wait, you two are… sharing a room?”
There it was. That slight tilt of her head, the flicker of something you couldn’t place in her tone.
Jungkook leaned forward lazily, resting his elbows on the table, the corner of his mouth tugging upward. “Yeah. One bed. Cozy setup.”
You shot him a glare beneath your lashes, but he looked entirely unbothered—smug, even.
“That’s.. interesting,” Chaerin said, her voice tight but controlled.
“It wasn’t our idea,” you replied quickly. “It’s just logistics.”
“Really efficient logistics,” Jungkook added, taking a sip of his wine.
Sophia raised an eyebrow but didn’t comment. She was the only one at the table who seemed to genuinely enjoy the mess, as she wasn’t involved in it.
You rubbed your temple and murmured, “You are not making this easier.”
“Didn’t realize I was supposed to.”
The next ten minutes dragged; small talk, wine refills. Lily’s mom kept trying to get you and Tariq closer together. It made you think that maybe you should have stayed back home.
Chaerin smiled too tightly at things Jungkook said. Tariq was polite, maybe too polite, and you couldn’t tell if it was his usual charm or calculated calm.
You were certain there must at least be a little bit of anger toward you brewing inside him.
And Jungkook? He kept leaning toward you, knees brushing under the table, glancing over whenever you spoke. It was as if he wanted to send a signal.
You just couldn’t identify what exactly.
---
Later that night, when things had calmed down and most of the house was either asleep or winding down in their rooms, you stepped out onto the back patio to get some air.
The noise and forced small talk from dinner had given you a slight headache, and you needed to breathe somewhere quiet.
You heard the sliding glass door open behind you, followed by footsteps.
Jungkook.
He walked up beside you, holding two glasses of water. He offered you one. You took it.
“You okay?” he asked, voice low.
You sipped your water and gave him a side glance. “Peachy.”
He smirked a little. “Dinner was awkward.”
“Yeah…”
A brief silence stretched between you two. It wasn’t awkward.
And then you just asked, casually yet obviously curious: “So… you and Chaerin?”
Jungkook went still beside you—not in a dramatic way, just quiet. Then he let out a short breath. “Yeah.”
You nodded slowly, processing it.
It made sense; they could look good together.
“We met when I was here for that semester abroad. Lily introduced us,” he added, voice careful, almost like he was making sure not to dwell too much or share too much information.
Not because he didn’t want you to know, but because he didn’t want to look pathetic in front of you.
You didn’t say anything, just took another sip.
“She broke up with me before I left for Korea. Said she didn’t want to do long distance, but she came back here once I went back to Chicago.”
His tone wasn’t bitter by any means, but it wasn’t quite neutral either.
You turned toward him slightly. “Are you still into her?”
He didn’t answer right away. Just looked out at the dark water, jaw tense. Then, “It’s not that simple.”
Which, to you, meant yes.
You nodded again. “Hm.”
Something about that revelation planted a seed.
Because now it made sense why he stood up for you and flirted with you right in front of her. Why he didn’t seem to care about you two sharing a room—about the proximity. Why he kept looking at you like you were some sort of useful distraction. It was all a ploy to make her jealous.
Or at least you thought so.
And you weren’t offended; you were cooking up a brilliantly ridiculous idea in your head.
He wanted to get her back—or at the very least, get to her.
You needed Tariq and his fan club to back off.
You looked over at Jungkook again. “Thanks for sticking up for me at dinner.”
He tilted his head, squinting slightly. “Didn’t like how she was talking to you.”
You let the silence hang for a moment, then turned to walk back inside.
This could actually work.
You didn’t say anything yet, but the idea was there, ready to be implemented.
---
You couldn’t sleep. To be fair, you weren’t trying to; you were lying on your side, trying to gather the courage to tell Jungkook about your idea.
He wasn’t sleeping either; his breathing wasn’t even, and he wasn’t snoring, and you knew for a fact he snored when he slept.
The only light that was on was the moonlight shining through the window.
“Jungkook,” you simply said, which warranted a “hm?” from him. “Are you awake?”
He turned to you, now facing you. You could tell he was a little sleepy. “Yeah… everything all right?”
You nodded, your lips slightly pouty. Jungkook’s eyes were studying your face, like they often did, but this time you felt a little smaller than usual; it was more intense for some reason.
Your legs were touching a little, his hands very subtly brushing against your waist before he removed them.
Jungkook suddenly sat up straight, prompting you to do so as well. He looked over at you.
“What are you thinking about?” he broke the silence, his head resting against the headboard and glancing down at you.
You sighed, mimicking his movement.
“Nothing,” you replied softly, your eyes now focused on your hands that were resting in your lap. “…Actually, there is something.”
Jungkook nodded, encouraging you to continue with a look in his eyes.
“So…” you hesitantly continued. “I was thinking… Tariq is here, and… Lily’s parents are just… ugh, and Chaerin… and I-”
He chuckled lightly at your confusing sentence. “Are you going somewhere with this?”
You sent him a pointed look. “Yes, ugh, just let me finish.”
Jungkook held his hands up in surrender, that lazy smile tugging at his lips.
You took a breath before spitting it out, “I think we should fake date.”
There was a semi-long beat of silence.
He blinked. “I’m sorry, what?”
Rolling your eyes, you said, “You heard me.”
He stared at you for another couple of seconds, his facial expression a mixture of confusion and amusement. “Did I fall asleep and miss the part where we turned thirteen again?”
You groaned, shoving his shoulder. “Please don’t be annoying.”
“I’m not! I’m just surprised,” he said, laughing softly now. “You hate me.”
“I don’t hate you,” you muttered, crossing your arms. “You just… annoy me sometimes.”
His grin widened. “Right. And now you want to date me.”
“Fake date you. Besides, I could tolerate you. I’m a great actress.”
Jungkook tilted his head, something unreadable flickering behind his eyes. “Why?”
You glanced down at your lap again, picking at your fingers. “Because Lily’s parents won’t stop talking about Tariq, and Tariq is here now, and Chaerin is here, and everyone is either watching me or watching you. I just thought maybe we could make it easier on each other.”
You paused. Then, a little quieter, you added, “You want Chaerin to regret dumping you, right?”
That caught his attention. His playful expression faltered, if only slightly. You continued.
“She’ll see you moving on. With someone else. Someone you know from back home,” you added, flicking your eyes toward him meaningfully. “Believe me, it’ll drive her crazy.”
Little by little, he slowly looked like he was considering the offer.
“And,” you added, “you’ll be allowed to kiss me and touch me. Whenever you want. Wherever you want.”
He didn’t say anything for a long second.
Then he blew out a soft breath and shook his head, laughing under his breath. “You’re dangerous, you know that?”
You smiled sweetly and unbothered, batting your eyelashes at him. “Is that a yes?”
Jungkook’s eyes dropped to your lips. Then lower. The shirt you were wearing had shifted slightly when you leaned forward, exposing a bit more of your chest. His gaze lingered for a moment longer than it probably should have. Then he looked back at your face.
“Yeah,” he said finally. “Okay. I’m in.”
You both sat in silence for a moment.
“We need rules,” you said firmly, shifting into a more business-like tone.
He groaned dramatically. “Oof… alright.”
“Rules are what will make this believable, you idiot.”
He smirked. “Fine. Hit me.”
You raised a finger. “Number one: no unnecessary touching.”
Jungkook gave you a look. “Define unnecessary.”
“You know what I mean.”
“See, I feel like what you define as unnecessary, I define as method acting,” he said with a shit-eating grin on his face. “Gotta stay in character.”
You narrowed your eyes. “You just want an excuse to get handsy.”
“Not true. I’d get handsy regardless.”
You huffed. “Fine, but no touching when we’re alone.”
Jungkook raised an eyebrow. “Why not?”
“Because that’s where people catch feelings,” you deadpanned. “and it defeats the purpose of the act.”
He raised both hands again. “Alright, alright.”
“That’s rule number two,” you said. “No catching real feelings.”
“That won’t be a problem for me,” he confidently spoke. “For you, on the other hand…”
You hit him on the shoulder, which immediately shut him up, but not without a chuckle.
You continued, “We don’t tell anyone it’s fake. Not even Lily.”
Jungkook simply nodded. “Okay, my turn.”
You raised an eyebrow. “You have rules?”
“Just one,” he said, shifting a little closer, voice lower. “You don’t get to flinch when I touch you.”
You blinked. “What?”
“You act like my hand is made of fire every time I go near you. Doesn’t exactly sell the whole ‘crazy about each other’ thing.”
You bit the inside of your cheek. “Fine. But don’t be weird about it.”
“I’m never weird,” he said with a wink.
You looked at him pointedly.
“Okay, rarely weird.”
There was another moment of silence, your knees brushing as you sat facing each other, before you both lay back down.
“Goodnight, baby.”
You didn’t say anything to that, at least not right away.
“Don’t call me that,” you finally muttered, turning onto your side to face the other way.
“Get used to it,” Jungkook said, his voice already muffled by the pillow. “We’re in love now, remember?”
You could hear the smile in his voice.
And then, silence again. A comfortable one, strangely.
You fell asleep smiling.

First OC introduction post! This is Rahma Salil - she's my OC for Scarabia. She's twisted from the guards from Aladdin, so she serves to balance out Kalim's 'all energy' and Jamil's 'no energy' with calm, as she's very mom-friend coded!
one of my favourites I've drawn, muscular ladies are special
