Four meets the colors

I decided to be absolutely evil so here you go fanfic prompt :

What if four was never capable to combine into link but they didn’t even get the opportunity to take turns because everyone controls different body parts and they have to coordinate absolutely everything together and pulling the four sword back just to be four people again isn’t something they can just do

They learned to live with it but no matter how hard they try to make it look naturally

they still move in a way that feels wrong even when they are trying hard to cooperate

Their feet have slight delay

their hands have trouble gripping stuff in a way that looks naturally and one hand might grip the wrong side of a box ending with nearly dropping it

Their face can show different and several emotions at once and they can sometimes be heard mumbling to themself

And because of that they are perceived as unsettling or unstable by their own village

Their father couldn’t truly understand or accept them because link his child essentially died and they know it no matter how hard he tries to hide it

Their grandpa is getting older and even though he grieved his grandson he still wanted to accept them and when he is gone they would only have Zelda left

And she spends most her time in the castle ruling Hyrule

Shadow is not coming back ever again

And because of that spend as much time as they can on blacksmithing to not have to worry about things

But when linked universe happens they meet a version of them that has everything they could possibly want

Like their own bodies and lives

Shadow is still alive

The village doesn’t fear them

Vio,Blue , Red and Green all get to go by their own names

And four has to go by link

It’s genuinely paining them because it just doesn’t seem fair

Main while the colors hate how four is looking at him

Because they used to think that link would understand and support their decision to stay apart

But obviously link feels to good about himself as the perfect and superior hero of the four sword

And they all start hating him for it because it means that their decision wasn’t approved by the one person it mattered from the most

The chain feels the tension but doesn’t really know how to fix it so they separate both

And when they all get to four’s Hyrule they feel ashamed of how bad they are viewed by their own village

Because the colors are loved but they are not

So they tell them that when they put the sword back they never became one

The colors feel absolutely horrified when they realize the implications

Because four's existence sounds like their worst nightmare

And it makes them feel sick

That a version of them could be so screwed over by their own existence

And shadow isn’t even with them

And their dad doesn’t even want them to exist

Man and they thought they had it rough

Four gets to meet shadow and has a mental breakdown over it

Shadow is also very disturbed by the situation

Also they keep four there is no way hylia can stop them (it still is extremely weird when they interact with their counterparts because they like don’t always have the same expressions )

but also four is all fucked up like red is delusional (he was doing his own thing the entire adventure in the manga), blue has an obsession with keeping things under control(getting frozen and swallowed by a host is not fun) (which is why he is so obsessed with cleaning because it gives him a way to control the environment ) , Vio is depressed about shadow,green has a hero complex (he is link if you delete all personality traits except hero)

Yeah that won’t be fun

The colors have it easy in comparison

He claims Sako and Magne. But they looked sad when he said he is No-One. Magne has a look of understanding and sorrow "Can I choose one for you?"

"That's not Allowed? I haven't earned one"

Sako grins "then it's our little secret. How does Midori sound?"

"...... Sounds Right? Feels nice."

"You have a name now. I am Magne. I chose my name too"

"Sako. My name is Sako. My Auntie gave it to me"

"I am Midori. You guys gave me a Name."

Midori was crucial in the Overhaul Meeting.

His fluid movements saved Magne from Overhaul. He hissed with Anger and Fury at the Man. The Betrayal too easy at his Hands.

He willingly goes with Twice and Toga... He had a Feeling. And it made his wings rumble and Twitch.

Seeing that scarred Child made him shudder and growl slowly. Only Toga's hand kept him from tearing a man apart for her.

Eri…. Changed Everything.

So he waited. He bided his time. He watched the Explosion Trainee and his kindness to her. He looks into him. And his face softens seeing him with a Smiling Shoto.

No-One stares into the cat cafe. His wings drooping and his heart sinking in an unwanted sense of Betrayal….

And oh how happy Explosion made him.Maybe it's partially because The Other Dragon is close to Explosions Hoard. Maybe it's how Shoto actually got to smile when No-One had to Earn everything.

He shakes his head and allows a small chirp. Tearing his head away he starts walking back to that old warehouse.

He made up his mind. The Girls was to be the Explosions one, Maybe she too could learn to smile.

So he waited.

And Midori walked with Betrayal and anger and sorrow in his heart. And maybe… hope?

WIP SNIPPETS GAME

ohoho i don't have too much new to share so i'll share what i've recently added and some of my notes from my note file

Somehow, he makes it back to the main family and slots himself easily among a few other bodyguards gathered for additional training. The instructions feel like molasses in his mind but somehow his limbs know to follow, to do what he can’t consciously acknowledge. It’s funny how his body can perform these complex tasks while his chest feels like shattered glass is housed within the walls of his flesh. His body hitting the hard floor hurts less than the wretched clench of the muscle in his chest; that traitorous muscle that had heard ‘There you are, dear’ and thought it had been for him.

Eventually, he stops taking Gun’s calls. Ignores his drunk pages.  Gun and his wife are having a baby and Chan is forced to attend the baby shower as a guard for Korn. It kills him a little inside.  The next time he has to go to the minor compound (for Korn) he’s stopped, the guards holding their guns cautiously. As if he could ever hurt Gun, his perfect wife, and their adorable little child toddling around with his fist in his mouth and bright analytical eyes.  One night he's weak, he accepts Guns text (why is he still texting him when he hasn't replied in ages) and they meet in private. Gun is worse, cruel, demeaning. Chan endures but when he leaves he heaves his regret on the side of the road. It's storming and he wonders how easy it would be to drive himself into the river.  His loyalty wins out and he goes home, scrubs himself raw and drinks himself to sleep. It's the last time he'll ever see Gun intimately, he promises.

PROGRESS UPDATE!

Hi, everyone~ ♡

A lot happened since my last post 😄

I made a new friend, actually right after I told you about my new academic plans (an effect of your good wishes, surely), who tutored me. I did learn a lot, but more so, the fear of the subject that I had/belief that I was stupid or hopeless got diminished.

Then I took the math placement test and got placed in pre-calculus... LOL. I took the course this summer with a very good professor and math support system and tried hard. I managed to achieve an A-. 😭 What an improvement!

I think the words to best describe my feelings are relief and gratitude.

I thought of you all and your encouraging words very often to keep me going. Thank you for your support!! Now, onto calculus 🙏
