Had a bad day at work yesterday

#honestly first half was so good #I was in a really good mood we were all chatting #it was a manageable busy I was happy #and I was training a new person #theres this team lead and when regular chatting she’s really nice but when it comes to anything work related she’s horrible #one of my favorite coworkers quit because of her #idk she’s like extra ‘bossy’ like we Have to constantly be doing something. not waste a second.#she acts like she knows better than me SHE EXPLAINS TO ME HOW TO DO SHIT LIKE I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO MY JOB AS IF I HAVENT BEEN HERE #TEN TIMES LONGER THAN HER #the day took a turn for the worse when she said ‘we’re gonna need ice.’ I was waiting at a register with new girl cause customers were #literally walking in and approaching and she raised her voice at us basically yelling at us to go get ice. like what #that triggered me and blahblahblah a few tiny annoyances later I’m in the back having a panic attack. and the manager catches me at first #told me off for not being in the front to help with the line but when she noticed I was crying she let me have a minute to calm down #then closing I had to do dishes. I’m always slow at them I warned everyone. but I was in a really bad mood at that point #I rushed them. I did a meh job I skipped steps I cut my finger I wasn’t being slow I was soaking wet I did them as fast as I possibly could #cause I was so done. we have two freezers in the back I have all the wet dishes on one and I’m dying them on the other. team lead comes to #the back says I’m the last one cleaning. we need to get overran from that freezer for the front. I ask if they can get it when I’m done #(literally like four things left to dry) she says no she has to clock out at midnight and basically started going off on me and my coworker #about how basically were doing a bad job cause we’re supposed to be Done by 11:30??? so we’re late and now it’s affecting her and it’s our #fault??#WE ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE DONE BY 11:30 NONE OF THE MANAGERS EXPECT US TO BE DONE BY THEN YES WE ARE SCHEDULED TO THEN BUT ITS BASICALLY #IMPOSSIBLE TO BE DONE BY THEN IVE BEEN HERE NEARLY A YEAR AND IVE GOTTEN OUT BEFORE MIDNIGHT MAYBE TWICE.#I DID THOSE DISHES AS FAST AS I POSSIBLY COULD #she is a grown ass adult talking to teens like this. we all also had school that day we were tired #and honestly we were so fucking fast that night. nearly done and not even midnight? damn. she clocked out and left before we finished #I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt cause she was nice when having a normal chat but no she’s a jackass #made me cry twice yesterday #I’m so close to messaging the old coworker who quit because of her about this cause she’s also older. she was like the mom of the theater #she loves us and if she heart team lead was making me cry she would come in and tell her tf off #I’m not good at confrontation. I just grabbed the shit and put it out front and paced around a lot. felt like shit.

they get on okay in that they don't really argue, but there's also kind of a clash of personalities. the Lover is all about emotional openness and sincerity, and the Performer is. well. hmm

Today was a good day :)

#Today three strangers were kind to me in three different occasions. It was such a nice coincidence :)#I've been working on Akutagawa's birthday the entire week and today Akutagawa posts were all over my dash. I'm so happy!#I managed to do all the edits I had set up to and I'm glad :)#I dressed rigorously black and white and wore the black striped pants I bought because they reminded me of Beast Akutagawa's outfit #I did my nails black and red!!#My mother called me to congratulate on Akutagawa's birthday #I even baked a cake with a friend and they were so sweet /////#I'm so grateful they managed to make time for it even though they've been so busy and tired because of their job #More than everything I'm grateful they weren't weird about it #They found it a little silly but they never made fun of me. They helped me pick the cake.#And today they even told me that they looked up a video of the character to understand me better #Which TERRIFIES me because no way anyone could get a good impression of Akutagawa from a single video #But if we ignore that it was an unbelievably nice gesture :')#It's just such a foreign feeling because outside of my blog I NEVER talk about my hyperfixations irl.#Because when I used to when I was younger I was only met with scorn or mockery so ever since I started university I simply learnt not to?#And it's just so genuinely weird to talk with someone irl who wouldn't judge me for it–#and not really in the good way because part of me is still convinced that they *are* judging me for it.#Doesn't matter everything suggests the contrary. And I keep overthinking if I overshared about Akutagawa or if I said something dumb #But I'm trying it not to get to me. Today they've been nothing but nice through and through #Whatnot. The last months were very tough for some reason I'm just happy good things can still happen :)#I want to start the queue again now that I'm generally more free and done with Aktgw's birthday and everything.#I also have new exams the first days of April and the program is pretty heavy and wide. On top of following courses. I'll see what I can d #I'd like to start regularly posting again because I'm afraid if I don't I'll just sulk further in misery. Like imagine dedicating 10 years to learning a trade skill that allows you to work in a number of fields and/or independently while simultaneously working a full time job and side projects, and you get hit with the "when are you gonna get a real career?"

#my current job is a guaranteed monthly paycheck #I'm happy with what I'm making and when I'm no longer needed or save up a certain amount (whatever comes first) I'm dipping #and it still allows me time to work on other projects on the side #been able to take my time and plan out my next steps when that time comes #I'm just so insulted #I have 2 degrees and work full time while starting 2 businesses and help manage a non-profit but apparently that's not enough :/#jackal's journal
