You know, I am generally looking forward to us getting hormones, because Franz will be a lot more content with this body once we do. But I also have very selfish reasons that are just:

Thinking about gsnk and asoiaf and Kashima would absolutely be cast to play Aegon II. Too likable to hate in spite of the bad writing choices (Maeno) or ridiculous ones (Nozaki).

Greatest crossover ever. Kashima refuses to dial down her princelyness while playing Aegon II and everyone starts rooting for him over Rhaenyra and Hori (a devoted Rhaenyra stan and also someone who prides himself on historical accuracy) has to cast himself to play Rhaenyra to take some of the sting out of the situation.

instagram recommended me a video by some guy and it is. kinda intriguing the niche it seems to be trying to fill. 1) asmr 2) millennial nostalgia 3) midwestern/north woods posting. 4) ...c*ttagecore(?)/simpleliving

which leads to some interesting kinda intersections. it’s clearly playing off things like joe pera in vibe and the manitowoc minute guy in accent. but (1) because it’s also asmr and he’s playing up his accent, it ends up getting distorted to...no particular upper midwestern accent in particular and (2) since it’s chill vibes any rough edges of the accent are sanded off. so his accent kinda sounds weird.

it takes the impulse of “escaping the rat race” from c*ttagecore/simpleliving posting but transposes it to a Michigan North Woods setting. but also since it’s millennial nostalgia, he’ll pull out a gameboy color or play N64 in his cabin with carved wooden loons and such.

it’s just fascinating. also there’s fucking bizarre brand deals which is hilarious. like not hilarious like when brutalmoose does his skits. hilarious because it is dissonant. anyway that’s the extent of my foray into vine/tiktok/reel type content directly.
