you were shocked when you found out that you and your colleague got selected for helping a certain football player with his new contract deal. you thought that maybe it was his first time signing so probably he wasn’t an expert - not that you were too - but you were quite amused and shocked when you’ve been told that the football player that needed your help was the kylian mbappè.

his previous lawyer couldn’t help him because he had a very important case to take care of so he suggested your firm.

you were working for a very important firm in paris, so it was easy when people needed help because everyone knew you in paris. and everyone means everyone because that’s how kylian mbappè found you.

you’ve never worked on any football deal, nor your colleague did, so you were both a little nervous but you’ve been told about that the only thing you needed to do was reading and explaining the contract to kylian in case he couldn’t understand certain terms or words.

it sounded pretty easy.

expect no one told you that you had to be flying to madrid. your colleague couldn’t go as it was last minute and she had no idea how to manage her child if she was in madrid so she let you go all by yourself. saying that you were terrified was almost like a completely, no, you were shitting in your pants.

once you arrived in madrid you saw a private car waiting for you. that car got you to the hotel that kylian’s manager booked for you and the driver told you that he would be back in two hours to get you and to bring you to the offices where you would be meeting kylian.

you were not gonna lie, you were nervous to meet him. you always admired him, maybe you weren’t a football fan but you knew who he was, everyone knew who he was and you always had a soft spot for him. he always looked so nice and kind with the fans that made him seems like a completely normal person and not the famous football player the whole world knows.

you showered and got ready. opting for a very professional but at the same time very comfortable green dress, you finished to get ready and headed out where you saw the car waiting for you once again.

when you arrived to the structure you saw some people from kylian’s crew waiting for you. they all introduced himself and led you to the room where kylian was waiting his father and his procurator. you honestly had no idea who other else was in the room, you thought managers from real madrid since it was the team kylian was going to sign to but you had no idea and you didn’t ask.

the moment you entered the room and introduced yourself kylian’s eyes lightened up. he was waiting for the usual old and boring lawyer so he was surprised when he saw someone pretty and young as you.

“hello…” he waved at you, almost looking too shy.

“hi, i’m y/n, i’ll be the lawyer who will follow your deal today” you introduced yourself with a very bright smile.

kylian swore he fell in love. he couldn’t keep his eyes off of you and you felt his look on you.

when kylian’s procurator was reading the contract he pretended to not know some words - some very basic words - only because he wanted to hear your voice. even his father knew he was doing it on purpose just to have your attention.

“kylian, you know this word…” his father remarked.

“well i forgot” he said, looking back at his dad.

the man simply nodded, losing all the patience he had. you knew kylian was doing it on purpose and honestly you found it funny. usually this things are boring, long contracts only for a two second signs at the end.

when everything was done, kylian took al the pictures he had too but rushed away when he saw you were going back to the car. that was your job for the day and the next morning you would be flying back in paris when kylian was going to stay in madrid, so why did you feel nostalgic for a person you met a few hours ago?

“hey!” you heard his voice calling you.

“oh hi, is everything okay?” you asked him.

“yes, yes everything okay, i was wondering if you…well, if you aren’t busy if you would like to have lunch with me?” he asked a little embarrassed and that made you smile.

“sure, why not!”

he brought you to this little cute bar in madrid where you had probably one of the best dish you’ve ever eaten in your life. you began chatting about your lives, your hobbies, what you liked and what you didn’t and in reality you had a lot of things in common.

who would have thought that from a simple causal job you had took it could have started this amazing friendship between the two of you? or maybe something more than friendship…

while most times he is pretty caring when tickling someone, there are times he gets to wrapped up in it and goes a bit overboard and someone has to stop him. afterwards, he feels super guilty so he will shower u with aftercare, hugging you and apologizing nonstop, offering snacks, you name it.

This is canon. Yep definitely canon. Im going to say in a previous house he saw a map on a table once and heard it was the world. But doesn’t realise it’s obviously not to scale but def thinks the world is flat. He has a very heated argument about this with the twins and refuse to think otherwise without proof.

Constantly. As I said he’s different. The borrowers of this colony really did not like that he was different and they made sure to remind him of that. They’d either outright ignore him or deliberately make him do the worst jobs possible. Some borrowers (especially the ones around his age at the time) would deliberately go out of their way and hurt him for fun. So yes. Tommy in the beginning flinches a lot when he thinks he’s about to get hurt or someone moves to fast. Takes a long time for him to not be so tense about it but everyone is very patient about it and understanding when he semi outlines the abuse. The trauma of it all still a bit too fresh in his mid for detail

Yep of course they ask where he comes from! The Crafts wanna know who they need to go beat up. But I’m not gonna say if Tommy does or doesn’t say yet. Mainly because I’m not sure. But if he hadn’t yet, he’d tell them after the reveal properly.

Colonies in this world work a lot like the one in the 1997 The Borrowers movie in terms of how they have civilisation set up. There’s traders and stores and all sorts of things but they’re spaced out heavily and more built in underground caves then sewers. It’s more common for borrowers to live in forests and such then towns, but they have tunnels connecting places everywhere. This is how Tommy went from living in the smack bang middle of nowhere in the forest to living as an innie borrower in a house. Most borrowers know of the tunnels so a lot of innie borrowers are actually traders in a sorts that they’ll live in houses and bring back the ‘exotic human Bean’ things to trade in the colonies. Tommys parents however we’re not born in a colony, tho they knew of them, and lived mainly outside. But they were not very kind people and when Tommy was born, it just became more obvious to them that their child was different and so rather than waste supplies on a child they now didn’t want, they abandoned him.

Yes. Tommy being smaller than everyone else is because of his sizeshifter abilities. Sizeshifters born are kind of stunted in height. It’s part of how you can identify them. They’re also just a lot thinner and more lanky in appearance because they have the ability to change size and this somewhat allows them to do that. (Or I think it’s just funny to describe Tommy as lanky) but yeah even as they get older, they’re just a lot weaker physically too which would be fine because their shifting sort of makes up for that aspect. So while Tommy is an inch shorter then everyone else his age in the colony, if he knew he could size shift, he wouldn’t have been hindered as much.

If Tommy ever met someone from the old colony again, I think he’d probably just run out of the walls to find Wil, Phil or Techno. I think itd probably be one of his bullies that hurt him the most and Tommy would just go into panic attack mode and run for his life while probably being chased by them. He’d then run screaming into the room for someone while the bully still pursues them, and then of course he shifts. They’d be terrified and book it back to the walls and get away as fast as possible, while Tommy receives comfort cuddles.

Tommy is just scared child that runs from danger. He needs therapy.

There was a question asked in the Penguinronpa QnA, two actually, and I wanted to ask these questions. Since 96 isn't complete you can just do like the characters slash chapters you've done up til then or just do 69 only.

For each character, what would they have contributed if they lasted longer in the story. Like the role. Antag, development, support, that one character who does nothing but survives anyway, etc

What's one thing for each chapter you'd go back and redo, if there was one thing for each chapter?

Sorry for question count I'm a very questiony guy. Also yes, this is York the guy who gave Bojack-o-lattern a ton of nicknames. Also I've watched some of Breaking Bad and watched Saiki K almost all of Season 1 (dubbed). Both are really fucking good. There's an Ao Oni movie apparently but the demon design is apparently bad, wait shit I'm rambling. Let me stop now.

1. I haven’t watched it myself, but as long as you enjoy the show yourself and the characters you’re writing, then that’s great! As long as you’re passionate, you could even convince others to check it out

As these other answers are kinda long, I’m gonna put them under the cut ↓ ↓ ↓

2. I’ll answer this for DR69 as it’s easier as that story is already finished.

Mr. Krabs - probably would’ve taken on an arc of greed or teamwork that would’ve reflected into Luigi in some way

Mario - would’ve taken on a very tight-knit support role for Luigi, perhaps helping him come out of his shell and befriend anyone Luigi would

Dedede - as a comical character in the story, it would’ve been funny if he did get access to a hammer or something and tried to break down a wall, only for it to actually lead them to somewhere useful (or makes a hole that a killer could utilise for a murder case)

Ashley - like a mentioned in a very previous post, she would’ve had an arc of coming out of her comfort zone and making more friends, gaining some confidence on the side to confide in others. She would probably become a close friend to Luigi, who takes on a similar type of parental role he does with Parappa (as one single man can never have too many kids)

2D - I’d like to think we’d get to see him perform at some point. Either as a performance with Miku and Teto, or maybe on his own without the cosmetics and show lights, singing to someone who needs the motivation

Peter - I won’t lie, I don’t particularly want Peter to be an endgame character, even in an alternative timeline. I think he’d continue to just be a comic relief character tho, just not so loudly during the darker parts as we get later into the story

Sans - If Sans was alive longer, sansmaeda would be able to be explored more than just during the trial and some parts before. Perhaps the relationship would cause some problems with trust, or it would change the dynamic of the group in someway (as the first sort of relationship they’ve been accustomed to). On his own, I think he’d begin to actually care about investigating himself and find some pretty useful things

Fluttershy - for Fluttershy, she’d be able to spread her kindness a lot further from when she died. Since she had her own doubts herself, however (seen in her diary), it would’ve been a good opportunity for her to receive help from others rather than just being so selfless. Also, she would’ve been able to share her drawings herself, allowing her to explain her creative process and see the others' reactions to her art

Brian - if Brian was persuaded to keep going, he’d have no regrets, more easily able to accept certain strange things and focus on what’s most important: saving everyone else. I think he’d often try to be self-sacrificial, but others would convince him they all need to stay alive together

3. I’ll continue to answer this with just DR69.

Chap 1 - add more events to the daily life. It felt kinda short, even if it was my first ever dangan chapter, and it would’ve been nice to see more events with the whole cast before one bit the dust. I’d like to see them all do something together -- maybe find a way to escape even if it backfires.

Chap 2 - this is more of a technical thing, but I accidentally forgot to have one of the three practicing the play (either The Conductor, Miku or Teto) mention they were rehearing in Classroom 1-A and not the performance hall during the night of the 2nd murder. This led to some theories believing the latter, which made me feel a bit guilty as it led some theories the wrong way.

Chap 3 - I mentioned before I wanted to also add more events to the daily life of ch3. However, I’d probably remove that um. Luigi having to be a real plumber for Peter scene because it was just gross and I only did it because I thought some people would find it funny I guess?? Like it’s not the worst thing ever but I don’t like stooping to toilet level humour often.

Chap 4 - for this chapter, I think I’d want to justify why Sans killed Peter himself. While taking on a selfless act as he didn’t want Nagito to die is alright, just Peter making fun of Papyrus doesn’t really reflect why Sans would get so mad. However, this was actually because in a very old plan I had, Peter had actually killed Papyrus himself (idk how or why but he did) and that confession would be what had led Sans into killing him. I mean I guess it could’ve been possible in a prequel type thing but it would make things more messy (also impossible considering Papyrus is alive for the albeit dead sequel)

Chap 5 - I think I would add more moments of Luigi seeing Parappa hanging out with Brian and trying to make him happy again. We only really see him trying to talk to Nagito, and not with the other two often. It would be nice to have Luigi at least know one thing they did together, making the moment it all falls apart in the trial much more harder to bear.

Chap 6 - I can’t think of much I would change here. However, I would’ve liked to add a part during the trial where Luigi reminisces on the others who have passed away, and I would add a CG of a collage of all the final moments of each character like how they did in SDR2 and NDRV3. I just think it’d look cool but painful as a reminder of all the deaths in one big image. I’d also add a CG right at the end of all 5 survivors standing together after escaping the school. I was planning to, but I got quite burned out after basically working on that final chapter so intently after such a long hiatus.

Background/story

Had bad/abusive/neglectful parents and got sent into foster care when he was very little

He doesn’t remember his bio parents (just that he looked liked his mom, but smiled like his dad)

Has a bio sister (younger) that he doesn’t know about because she was born after he went into foster care

Hunter is his best big brother forever and he will bite anyone who says otherwise

He is a biter (as most younger siblings are)

Will also bite Hunter but hasn’t since they were kids

Is protective of Hunter right back but also relies on him

Gets very scared when Hunter gets hurt (which is rare) or also gets scared (not as rare, but he’s much better at hiding it)

Freaked the fuck out when Hunter attacked him while brainwashed

He’s never had to fight his brother like that and he hopes he never has to again

Is so relieved when he knocks out of it

They don’t fight a lot, so when they do it’s kind of a big deal

Are quick to make up though, they’re just a bit hotheaded

Tori is his unapologetic favorite

He was not expecting to find the enemy attractive but uh, Tori’s a pretty lady

Talked to her whenever she was at the track or they were at Storm Chargers

Gets teased for his flirting a lot

Trusts Tori like no other, which is a little scary, but he’s always had Hunter at his back so if he falls, he’ll be fine

While both able to keep their team level-headed and focuses, they are also just as likely to jump on stupid shit (Blake because he thinks it’s fun/ny and Tori because someone challenged her)

Dustin is cool in his eyes

Dustin makes his brother happy so he’s a good egg

Found him either annoyingly stupid or annoyingly competent (usually one right after the other) at first and was kind of confused about his whole thing

They still use the crystal to block Lothor’s blast but the explosion of it knocks Hunter out and he has a ~vision~ with his parents and they tell him they love him and Blake and they’re so proud of him and they’ll always be with him and they died helping sensei and now they’ll help carry on that legacy

The boys end up leaving to see if they can find another power source like the crystal to connect with their parents, but they don’t find anything (Hunter still hides that small part of the crystal)

Has so many nightmares about his parent’s death and then of Hunter’s death during the whole brainwashing thing

Wants to prove he can fight and protect Hunter too so Hunter doesn’t have to give up anymore of himself protecting Blake

Is also very efficient in weaponry (like Shane) even though his main focus was the thunder staff

His first weapon to learn outside of his thunder staff was that double-sided blade

Omino’s daughter taught him how to use it and was the one to give him the advice about “not letting you anger get the best of you”

They got close but she moved away because her dad is ~toxic~ and feels bad for leaving the boys behind, especially when the academy gets attacked

She’s technically no longer a ninja which is why she wasn’t zapped up to space

If Hunter is the thunder, then Blake is the lightning

He has more fine control like Tori

Can’t control the weather since he’s not quite as big, overwhelming, anger/feelings, but he is magnetic

Him and Hunter are wary of water because of their powers and tend to stay on the sand when they visit the beach

After I sent that message, I finished watching 5x05. And boy, they really had Justin change his mind 17 times during one single episode. I kind of hate it because he literally out of nowhere is now thinking about babies and marriages. I also feel so bad for Hunter and at the same time Michael is pissing me off. He really is the worst character ever. I will say though, that scene in the club where Brian tells Emmett he has syphilis and Emmett jokes that at least he avoided the rash. And then Brian tells one guy and it’s just a giant telephone game of guys giving each other ‘hey get tested’ and it gets all the way back to Emmett and then they cheers their drinks? Not gonna lie, I loved that scene, it made me laugh so hard. I wish we got way more of Emmeet and Brian. I’m still upset that he was the only one who didn’t find out about cancer in s4. I know for sure he would’ve had a nice reaction. Even tho in this episode he teases Brian, that it hasn’t been his year dick wise, which again was funny. Wish we got more of their friendship

Emmett and Brian are *everything to me* I adore their friendship. They're very similar in personality and Gale and Peter's chemistry is wonderful. They have great comedic timing and their banter is on point. Also Emmet being one of the rare ones who doesn't want to be Brian or fuck him - legends only.

I agree I wish we had seen Emmett's reaction to the cancer arc as he would have been very supportive of Brian, checking on him and also Justin. Underneath it all they all love each other very much and teasing is how they show it.
