Ideas/Thoughts on both of my Beast-Mode Poseidon designs

Oceanic Beast Mode:

Blue ringed octopus lower half, losing the horse legs

Rings on his body glow

Hair becomes more water-like

Lionfish fin ears

Anglerfish lantern on head because trans boy

Shark fins on arms

Mahi-Mahi colors become more vibrant in certain places

Beard becomes longer like an Oar fish

GIANT because his form feeds off of water

Cyclops eye starts glowing

Eyes become black like a shark’s

Wave skirt becomes violent instead of the gentle lapping wave it usually is

Horns become more coral like and start emitting smoke like an underwater vent

Some cracks in his body like trenches

Terrestrial Beast Mode:

Clydesdale centaur form made of the ground around him

Shakes the ground when he walks

Cracks all over his body because of earthquakes

Hair becomes kind of dusty but other parts of his hair turn into streams and rivers

Eyes become Frog-Like/Squid-Like

Horns turn more to water-buffalo horns

Body becomes rougher with edges and cracks

Still extremely big but not as big as his water form, about the size of a extremely large oak tree at his hips/where the horse body begins

Spots on his body either become ocean jasper or sandstone, some form of rock

Water skirt becomes normal cloth

Probably puts his hair up because it’s no longer translucent

So I'm insane and also multifixating, so here's my attempt at linking TOUCHSTARVED characters to songs from EPIC.

Note: Since little of everyone's backstories is known as of now, I'm going to throw in a decent amount of theory/speculation. Also, "linking" could mean anything from a whole song to part of a song to just the general vibes of a song

It's just the way that Leander is so welcoming to MC right off the bat. It just feels ever so slightly similar to the way that Circe welcomed the soldiers into her home.

Like he basically just went up to MC like "oh you look tired, here have some food and a place to rest. Leander's got you, now :)"

I also really like the image of Future MC having a conversation with Past MC to this song. Like:

"Yes, you've been through a whole lot of shit and survived, but you've never had to face something like this before!"

"What was it?"

"A man."

"...What?"

There Are Other Ways + Vere

I mean. The joke is right there, sure, but that's not where the spotlight of my thought process lies.

So, remember in the demo when Vere straight up killed you if you were seduced by him? Great, now remember when Circe attempts to kill Odysseus by seducing him? Also great.

What if there's a moment where MC is trying to get something, maybe information, out of Vere. And Vere, who really does not want to give whatever it is up (maybe it's personal, maybe it's "business", maybe it's something else entirely...). So, he deploys the good ol' Seduce and Stab tactic.

Maybe MC was willing to go along with it at first (and who would blame them), but they come back to their senses at the last moment.

Maybe Vere gains a bit of respect for them because of it...

Also, the "I have been in love once before" line makes me think of something that may or may not have hinted towards Vere having an ex in his flower lore post thingy

DisneySea: (Part 5) Mythical Marina

For our fifth stop, we've come to Mythical Marina!

Here, guests find themselves flung back in time to Ancient Greece, when the country was still split into city-states and the mighty gods of Mount Olympus were still worshipped.

Making up the port of call is a seaside city-state on the coast of The Mediterranean Sea (drawing heavy inspiration from real-life city-states like Athens, Corinth and Sparta)

Travel along stone-paved pathways accompanied by olive and cypress trees, marble statues, and classic architecture of the Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian orders.

The centerpiece of this land is The Temple of Poseidon, a slightly-sized down replica of the real-life temple of the same name found in Cape Sounion.

This land offers two attractions for guests to experience, both of which based off the expansive lore of Greek mythology.

The first one is The Odyssey.

On this Audio-Animatronic ride, guests get the chance to experience the legendary poem by Homer.

Just like in the poem, the story sees the war hero Odysseus embarking on a voyage just after The Trojan War to his home Ithaca, where his wife Penelope and their son Telemachus are awaiting his return.

But little did he know that his voyage would be easier said than done.

As through his journey, Odysseus finds himself having to endure the wrath of the god of the sea himself, Poseidon, and facing the many hardships he's placed on his path.

This includes getting captured by Calypso (who wanted to make him her lover), braving through a massive storm casted by Poseidon himself, being tempted by the food of The Lotus Eaters, battling the cyclops Polyphemus, escaping the cannibal-like Laestrygonians, avoiding Circe and her army of pig-men, navigating through the depths of the underworld to meet with the blind prophet Tiresias, ignoring the luring song of the sirens, and fighting the sea monster and living whirlpool Scylla and Charybdis.

The second attraction is Journey of the Hippocampus.

On this indoor rollercoaster ride, guests can hope aboard cars modeled after the legendary sea creature the ride is named after.

Soon enough, guests find themselves zooming through the underwater world of The Mediterranean, encountering coral reefs, sunken ruins, shipwrecks, and even volcanic chasms.

In terms of dining, this land has one restaurant: The Olive Tree.

Set in a replica of an ancient Greek courtyard with a massive olive tree at the center of it, this restaurant serves dishes dating back to the days of Ancient Greece such as wine-dipped barley bread, teganites, Greek salad (made with lettuce, asparagus, cucumber, onion, olives, olive oil and vinegar), a cheese and olive platter (consisting of feta, kasseri, kefalograviera, manouri, graviera, and kefalotyri), figs, a nut mix (consisting of pistachios, walnuts, almonds, sesame and chestnuts), a Greek fruit salad (made with figs, pomegranates, apples, pears, cherries and grapes), roasted fish, fried fish skewers, roasted octopus, fried squid, lentil soups, pastilli, a choice of either honey-drizzled cheese, figs or olives, and a wide selection of wine to choose from.

For shopping, we have The Agora. 

Named after and set in a replica of the ancient Greek marketplace of the same name, this establishment sells items such as Greek dolls, Greek Orthodox Iconography, leather goods, and evil eye charms.

There's also two smaller shops within this massive shop.

First there's Θησαυροί της Ελλάδας (“Treasures of Greece”), which sells Greek masks, carvings, statuettes, paintings, pottery, miniature mosaics and stories on scrolls, and Νέκταρ των Θεών (“Nectar of the Gods”), which sells food items, like Kalamata olives, olive oil, and traditional Greek spices.

As for entertainment, there's The Players of Dionysus.

Based in a replica of an ancient Greek theater, this group performs somewhat condensed versions of classic Greek theater productions such as Medea, Oedipus Rex, The Frogs, and even Disney's very own adaptation of Hercules.

And finally for character greetings, we have Hercules, Pegasus, Philoctetes, Megara, Hades, Zeus and Hermes.

For some reason while listening to the entirety of Epic: The Musical, I thought of an Wild Kratts Epic AU. Uh, here are my thoughts on who would be who (Also this is meant for fun, so no arguing in the replies please):

Aviva as Odysseus — because ✨Girlboss✨ (and also other reasons, but I'll get into it later)

Koki as Athena — She makes a pretty good Athena in my opinion; very smart, unafraid to voice her opinion, very good at problem solving. Also I wanted her to be a part of the main cast because of her traveling with Aviva and the Kratt bros in Owl Odyssey.

Martin as Eurylochus — For some reason when I was watching the black-footed ferret episode and Martin tested Aviva's invention at night, my mind went “I used your invention while you were asleep!” in the tone of that windbag part of Scylla...so yeah, I made him Eurylochus because of that—

Chris as Polites — I didn't really had a big reason, I just wanted him to be a part of the major characters lmao

Jimmy Z as Penelope — in Owl Odyssey he was literally Penelope, you cannot convince me otherwise-

Zach as Poseidon — Since Aviva is Odysseus, it just makes perfect sense for Zach to be Poseidon. Also could make Polyphemus a giant sick cyclops-like Zachbot or something

Donita as Circe — felt like it would be a crime if I didn't make her Circe. Legally I had to. ....also a Mannequin-Robot Chimera sounds cool as hell-

Gourmand as Zeus — ....look, he fit the bill for me and it makes sense, also he was the only villain that didn't have a proper role in this.

Paisley as Aeolus — I think it's a fun concept and look for her, especially as gigi's Aeolus (and like Rex could be the little guys or something)

Toodles as Hermes — Wanted Chris to be Hermes, but he's already Polites, so Toodles it is!

Stuffo (Aviva's stuff toy) as Telemachus — look, people say that a stuff toy is like having a child and I think it applies here (and what I mean people, I just mean me-) also I saw a TikTok of a guy lip syncing I Can't Help But Wonder with a build-a-bear that looks like him-

Salutations as Calypso — "he's not even a canon character-" *blows massive raspberry* Don't care! He's gonna be Calypso and he's gonna wear the outfit he wore on Flight of the Draco but recoloured! It's my au AND I CHOOSE THE CASTING—

Great Great Granddaddy Gourmand as Hephaestus — Originally Gourmand was gonna be Hephaestus, but ended up deciding on his great-great-granddaddy instead since he has a more Hephaestus vibe-

Shonita Donata as Aphrodite — I also wanted Donita to be Aphrodite, but I can't use the same character twice so her ancestor will have to do-

Dabio as Ares — it's just a funny concept-

Mama Kratt as Hera — Her outfit gives Hera colours and she's literally mother

Gavin as The Prophet — because...why not?

Seven the Octopus (with all those creature powers) as Scylla — because holy christ that final form was terrifying

Brad (Test Dummy) as Astyanax (The Infant) — So no infant is harmed in this au, also there aren't any infant characters in Wild Kratts-

The wild animals that invaded the Tortuga in Owl Odyssey as The Suitors — because I'm more than sure they were a reference to the Suitors in that episode

The bear that invaded the Tortuga in Owl Odyssey as Antinous — because the bear is huge and Antinous is the leader of the suitors....also the image of a big ass bear fighting a stuff teddy bear is very funny

And the Wild Kratt Kids as the rest of Odysseus' men.

I'm pretty sure that's all I can come up with.

I've been working on a project where in-universe there is a game that is basically a Pokemon Rip-off. An alternate reality version of Pokemon if you will.

So natural I had to try and make my own Fake-mon that were

A: clearly a Pokemon rip off

B: It's own distinct thing that is unique enough to be believable as an in-universe Pokemon equivalent.

If I was going to make my own Pokemon thing I at least have to put some genuine effort behind it right?

It's been tons of fun to come up with silly concepts, not all of them have names yet and I have way more of these things. Name suggestions appreciated.

A hermit crab inside a treasure chest that evolves into a pirate ship. No name yet.

A fire monster using a clay furnace as a shell, when it goes out it turns into a smoke monster. No name yet.

A fat little bird that has a fancy masquerade mask/opera singer ruffle. No name yet.

A sleepy sea slug. Current name: Mollazy and Sluggoosh.

A tadpole/frog that jumps using its spring-like tail instead of it's legs. No name yet.

A lil' fire demon bug. Current name: Deevil and Deelzebuzz.

An octopus in a diving helmet/squid in a submarine. Plus an early concept for the hermit crab but with the same concept: no name yet.

A torpedo/sea-mine squid/jellyfish. No name yet.

An alien invader disguised as a housecat. Current name: Mewmic, and for the life of me I cant decide on what the evolution should be called. Pseutomcat? Quasacat? Mewplicity? Cameowflage? Fauxline? Fraudpawed? They are all too good.

A skeleton/grim reaper raptor. Current name: Velocythe and Velocireaper.

A literal glitch Pokemon, like a malfunctioning hard drive that came to life. No name yet.

Hiii it's ask wave time~ who are ten of your favorite characters? Don't worry it doesn't have to be ranked in order, and it doesn't even have to be ten if you don't want! Just who stands out to you? If I’ve sent this already, my bad 😭

You may have sent it before, but my memory is not great (when you have 17,000+ posts, it becomes incredibly hard to find old ones). Anyways, ten of my favourite characters? Glad you didn't say top ten. I could never do top ten. But I can try to pick out ten random ones. I might end up going overboard and doing 10-15, though. I may also end up mostly pulling from Comic Book media and Rick Riordan books for now, but I know your blog is mostly about Bob's Burgers, so I'm gonna throw in two of those characters too. I like Bob's Burgers myself too, but I just haven't watched it as much lately (and haven't posted about it due to other hyperfixations, anyways).

Martian Manhunter: He's just always appealed to me, ever since I was a little kid. Something about this incredibly lonely superhero, the last of his kind...it really hits me in the heart. I relate to it.

Two-Face: Two-Face was the first supervillian i loved. I think my parents used to tell me I raced about him as a kid after seeing a rerun of his 90s TV Show episode. I don't think I could say his name right, though. This story can't be fact-checked, because my dad currently isn't at home (and I don't know how I talked way back when i was 4-5).

Mister Freeze: I've always liked Mister Freeze, but I like him even more than usual now. His grief over losing his wife, and his obsession with curing her...god, that's relatable. I lost my mom in 2022, and it still affects me. Not always in ways you'd expect, but it definitely still affects me. So I understand Freeze's pain and heartache. I really feel for him.

Cyclops: Cyclops wasn't my favourite X-Man as a kid, but he's definitely my favourite now. I see so much of myself in him. He's intensely relatable. Lonely, awkward socially, obsession with routine and with order, Cyclops is like the most relatable character you could give me. I love him.

Doctor Octopus: Doctor Octopus was my favourite Spiderman villian as a kid. I always read into him as being very relatable. This timid scientist who just goes along with whatever his boss tells him to do (largely because he's too scared to be assertive and take charge of operations), he eventually snaps and becomes a genius supervillian. I feel like that can be said to reflect my anger issues (which I hide whenever i'm in public, too). So he was really relatable.

The Hulk/Bruce Banner: Similar to the Doctor Octopus explanation above, The Hulk appeals to my sense of dual natures. My anger issues, depressive episodes, my negative emotions generally all end up repressed unless i'm alone or around my dad. So a character who pretty much has two split personalities (both of which embody my public vs my private persona), it almost feels like it's designed to be relatable.

Electro: i almost chose Mysterio (since I love his theatricality and sense of style with his crimes), but I feel like Electro popped into my head slightly easier. I still vividly remember the Electro episode of The Spectacular Spider-Man, despite not seeing it in years. A man who's now trapped in a body made of pure electricity, electro can't touch people, eat or drink things, he can't do anything a normal human being would do. And so he snaps, broken by his transformation. That type of story is so sad that I still remember it. I love Electro. His old comics aren't as good as that episode of the TV show, but I still love him.

Nico di Angelo: Nico di Angelo is a character I've loved since I first read the Percy Jackson series (whenever that actually first was). A lonely outcast, never accepted by anyone else, who closes himself off from the world after losing family and beginning to feel unaccepted. He really, really speaks to my soul.

Frank Zhang: Besides just being from Canada (like I am) and having self-confidence issues (also like me), he really is just a character I find fun and relatable. Not too much else I can say here, but I do relate to him.

Jason Grace: Jason Grace is a character who I love so much. He's a genuinely good and selfless person, a really great guy. His rigid sense of order (due to growing up at the roman camp) really appeals to me, too. I like order and some sense of rules. I go to bed at around the same time every night, I eat at similar times every day, I just like order. Chaos is stressful. We're getting off topic, but yeah. I love Jason Grace, and his death really got to me. I couldn't read the riordan books after that, because i missed him too much.

Teddy (Bob's Burgers): Probably the most relatable major character on Bob's Burgers, this man plagued by neuroses and issues really reminds me of myself. I'm only 20 (and he's like 50 or something), but I still really feel like I'll end up like him one day. Few friends, a therapist, awkward and lonely, etc. The only major difference between us is that I hate hands on work (like the stuff he does as a handyman).

Aunt Gayle (Bob's Burgers): The other big-ish character on Bob's Burgers who I relate to. Really, that show knows how to make me like and relate to characters. Just give them an infinite number of neuroses and mental issues, and you're gonna end up with a character who I feel speaks to my soul. A lonely woman who's got no friends besides her extended family, a lady who lives alone (besides her many cats) and who's incredibly sensitive to criticism... she's very, very similar to me. Very similar. Well, except for my strong allergies to cats.

Thank you for the ask, by the way. I now realize I could probably make an infinite number of lists like these, if given time. It'd become exhausting to do all the time, but I do like so many characters. I've dabbled in so many fandoms over 20 years, I could make a list at least 50 characters wide, if i had to. I just think i'd slowly begin to feel tired and agitated as I wrote it. But still, you give me this prompt again one day, tell me to try and pick new people, and we'd probably be able to get something out of it. Idk, that's just a random thought i've had.

Have you noticed that Monstermon cards have anything to do with the way they are received?

Celestial Slug: When Monty lost his wheelchair, he could only crawl slowly. He compares himself to this Monstermon.

Hard Boogar: Considering that the card was glued to the wall, some adhesive material was probably used for this

Bucket O Water: It's in a bucket.

Pale Tuna: The description of this card is "A great white fish for those who have trouble catching whales", which is a reference to the proverb "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush". According to the plot, we should become a friend of Nugget, but the Protagonist gives him the nuggets he needs in exchange for a cat. Nugget refuses friendship, but gives the card to the Monster.

Ultralodon: The card is given by Danner in exchange for the leg. The legs belonged to a swimmer who suffered from a shark attack. Ultralodon is a type of shark.

Carnivorous Nimbus: Like all clouds, he consists of water, and according to the description, he is very voracious. Buggs gives the card if you help him quench his thirst.

Tiny Squid: To get a card, you need to examine squid under a microscope.

Hermit Frog: Hermits prefer dark and quiet places. Cubes in Kindergarten may well be such a place.

Castle of Sand: Located on top of a cliff on a playground.

Man on Fire: Monty gives the card after we helped mix the chemicals. If you make a mistake, Monty and the Protagonist will burn.

Chair of Spikes: It lies between the cushions of the sofa.

Cigaretmon: Gives Hall Monitor if you give him a lighter when he was going to smoke.

Dune Worm: It is similar to a Nugget, because he also likes to dig holes and, if you believe the description, eat ground.

Stressed Llama: According to Ted, he looks like Ozzy.

Cyclops Duckling: You can get it if you solve Jerome's riddle with a swing. This puzzle is similar to the duck puzzle in the previous game.

Lonely Dragon: it is given by Hall Monitor in exchange for the cat. He probably didn't have any close friends before.

Dab Hero: a gesture indicating victory in something. In our case, Jerome's victory in the battle with Carla.

Monstrous Flytrap: he looks like Diana, and gives a Danner card for completing the Flowers for Diana quest.

The Tallest Tree: It lies in a beehive hanging on a tree

Chill Stump: According to the description, he is constantly invited to parties. When Danner gives the card, he says that the Protagonist is probably invited to scientific conferences.

Gnome of Garden: You can get a card after solving the flower puzzle.

Ofaka Tornado: According to Carla, she was amazed.

Literally Grass: A synonym for the word weed, if you know what I mean.

Doodoo Bug: When Ozzy gives this card, he was in the toilet. Without details.

Mystical Tomato: It's on Margaret's counter, where some food is stored.

Legendary Sword: It is located at the end of the maze, which is typical of legendary items.

Zen Octopus: Yoga helps to relax and relieve stress. Anti-stress toys like a spinner serve the same purpose.

Forbidden Book: It lies inside the book.

Pot of Grease: It is an additive in food, as well as gravy. They also have similar names.

Lamb With Cleaver: The janitor says he looks like him. I also want to point out that lambs are generally considered cute, although this lamb is ready to kill. This is similar to the Janitor himself: if you pay attention, then when crossing with the Protagonist, he can behave friendly.

Treasure Chest: It is connected with Felix's words that the real treasure is friends buried alive.

Mr. Nice Guy: just remember who gives you this card.

The Slurper: It's in the lab. He looks like a lump of green slime, which abounds in the laboratory.

Onion: It's in a bag of Ozzie's food, along with onion sandwiches. By the way, it was originally planned that the card could be found in the garden near the ramp.

Killer Eye: Buggs compares him to Penny, who could have killed them at every turn.

Purple Plush: It's in a toy box.

Monster Ghost: To be honest, I didn't quite understand the connection, it's probably due to the fact that ghosts like to take revenge. Monty gives the card after we help him get revenge on the Janitor. You can also recall Jerome's words in the first game, that he would haunt the Protagonist in the form of a ghost if he died through his fault.

Knight Who Turned Evil: Ted compares him to himself: being a cute kid, he became a evil in this quest (let me remind you that, in addition to killing Felix, he insulted Buggs and let Nugget die).

Mysterious Package: It's in a box.

Oglebop Ogre: Janitor compares him to his son. By the way, do you remember the theory that Buggs is the Janitor's son? Buggs looks like this Monster, doesn't he?

Dank Magician... Okay, I didn't find any similarities here. Maybe the fact that he is a powerful wizard and can only be obtained in the final game?

I have not listed some of the cards because they are given out for winning Monstermon. Although it is quite possible that they are related to the characters who give these cards.

Αfter Jean's death, Scott left the X-Men and got a job on Lee Forrester's fishing boat. RIP boat, hello island life. Drama and tragedy follows this poor dude wherever he goes, truly.

Scott lost his glasses during the shipwreck but manages a quick fix for his DEADLY EYES out of strips of clothing, leaving him shirtless. Lee offers first aid help but he declines, instead recruiting her as his eyes.

Scott is a bit of a whining bitch here tbh. Lee is almost too cool to be a Marvel character - she respects Scott's grief but doesn't accept it as the centre of the world. She just wants to fuck, not get married, you shipwrecked idiot (pun intended.)

There we go, much better. Lee shrugs off Scott accidentally calling her 'Jean' and he definitely doesn't want to talk about it. They've got bigger problems, though, as a gigantic science fiction city has sprung up overnight. She struggles to describe it so they go for a closer look.

Cry, mutant! Scott Summers you damselised drama queen.

In between issues the city has gone full Cthulu, with Lee stressing its antediluvian quality. Marble steps, Old Ones, etc. That they're in the Bermuda Triangle doesn't really come up but it probably should.

With not much to do, Scott suggests catching fish using his optic blasts. Sadly, we missed his first attempt, which pulverised the fish. Jesus Christ dude. Out of nowhere, a voice welcomes them to his island. A voice Scott recognises.

It's Magneto, bitch! You can quit the X-Men but you can't escape his drama. Seriously though, what are the odds? Scott left the X-Men to grieve and just happened to shipwreck on Magneto's octopus island. I think the old man set this up, though he's being incredibly polite and hospitable. Then again, Lee moved to this island after all the mutant drama ended. Magneto got knocked out of Asteroid M by Warlock accidentally and happened to land in Lee's boat. So maybe there's a higher power at play.

Mags welcomes them into his Lovecraft city and gives them opulent quarters plus Flash Gordon outfits. Scott thinks he's hiding his identity but Mags is like 'btw, Cyclops, you didn't fool me for a second. Make yourself at home bestie. Also, you're my prisoner, don't fuck around. Let me know if you need anything.'

You seem to have misinterpreted my ask.

That wasn't a complaint, it was a genuine question as to why. I was hoping for an explanation of your thought process, and of course, you're not required to give one but there was no need to call it a meaningless complaint.

But the quote is referring to Greek names specifically like Patroklus (in which I have seen spelled as such, specifically in Peter Green's translation of the Illiad), not necessarily every word that is Greek in origin. Cyclops and centaur are both names for creatures in greek mythology but they are not proper nouns. My question is what was your thought process to apply Grote's C->K to every word? It's not a "why should you be able to", it's a "why did you?"

It's also interesting to note in your story the plural you use for octopus is octopi. Not the english pluralization of octopuses or even the greek pluralization (as it is a greek origin word) of octopodes.

I don't think you realize how often I get complaints and questions about me doing k instead of C. It is at the point that's it's very frustrating to get those questions because I've answered it dozens of times in a bunch of different places (including here, if you'd checked the ATLOP asks tag).

And the quote refers to many utilizations of such, as I read the history book I can assure you it uses K spellings far more than C, and only uses C when the author deems it overwhelmingly familiar to the readers. He mentioned names specifically because the chart right before the quote was the Greek vs Roman Gods.

Additionally, I did the C to K long before I read that history book. I was simply very pleased when I read it and saved the quote for those sending such questions in the future, I thought a historian agreeing might make some people back off but apparently they just double down, who knew.

If you want a genuine answer: I am dyslexic, it is easier for my dyslexia to spell the words with K when the sound should be a K.

And yeah, cause Octopus and Octopi are words in two languages, not turning a Greek word into English spelling but otherwise keeping it in the same forms. Octopus is at this point both Greek and English, and I like the way Octopi better and it is considered one of three valid forms. Also, that's a nitpick.

(John) Doe Eyed Ch6 The Truth Comes Out

Fae shrieked as a giant single eyeball blinked up at her.

The lightning from the storm outside flashed lighting up the sky and all around her apartment, and just enough to show her what exactly was there on the floor just outside her doorway. A huge single eyeball blinked up at her from within a mass of black tangled hair. She squealed as it made some kind of purring noise and similar to how an octopus would walk, it crawled it's way right through the doorway. 

Towards HER.

She squealed and quickly backed away. The small furrball..cyclops...thing just went right after her. Leaving a wet trail of water behind it as it was soaked thoroughly, possibly from the storm outside, but that didn't matter right now. THERE WAS SOME KIND OF MONSTER IN HER HOUSE COMING RIGHT FOR HER!!! Fae continued backing up in both fright and shock as the thing still made weird cat like noises staring right up at her and still coming. Eventually she spotted her escape. In a panic she saw a single chair and without much of a thought darted for it making the furrball thing squeak in question at her. Before she knew it, she was standing on top of the chair hiding up and away from the furrball that still followed after her. It stopped just in front of the chair looking up at her before tilting to the left and squeaking a sound out in question. She felt herself cringe inwardly at it panic still taking hold of her. 

"W-WHAT IS THAT THING?!"

Of course no one else was there to answer her question. No one was here except herself, a scared bunny upstairs, and whatever the heck this monster hairball was!! It purred again and she grimaced more. Where did this thing come from?! What even WAS this?! Some kind of escaped science experiment?! A mutated animal?! Some kind of new undiscovered species that crawled out of a sewer drain because of the rain?! AN ALIEN?! Was it a monster?! She cringed further as it crawled over to one of the chair legs and wrapped a strand of hair around it. She winced and instantly patted her pockets for something that could help her and lo and behold had found her phone in one of said pockets. Immediately it was turned on and she dialed a number. The phone rang out as she held it up to her ear frightened as she continued to stare at the...the ..THING!!

"C'mon. C'mon."

A click came from the other side. "Hello? What's-"

"ROSE! HELP ME!!" She shrieked into the phone silencing the person on the other side. "THERE'S SOMETHING IN MY HOUSE!!"

"Fae?! Are you ok?! What's wrong?! What's going on?!"

"NO IM NOT OK!!" She winced as the thing made a longer and louder purring noise than before."There's some kind of alien monster thing in my house! It's all hairy and wet and it's not leaving me!!"

"Shit!,"Rose cursed from the other side also sounding panicked. "Ok. Um..Stay calm! Whatever you do just don't freak out."

"THERE'S A MONSTER IN MY HOUSE AND IM NOT SUPPOSED TO FREAK OUT?!"

"Just calm down!! Tell me what it looks like?!"

"Why would it's looks matter?!"

"FAE!!"

"I DUNNO!" She looked back to it again and it seemed to chirp happily that she did. "It's small and hairy and black and all wet...And like o-one eye? But what does that even matter?!"

There was a pause on the other side from Rose for a good moment. "...Is this 'monster' about the size of a cat and looks like a walking ball of hair?"

Fae blanked. "... YOU KNOW WHAT THIS THING IS?!"

Rose sighed. "Alright look. It's not going to hurt you, in fact it's probably a lot more scared of you than you are of it."

"I doubt that!"

"Look. I'm on my way over right now. It'll just take me an hour to get there. Just know that it's not really interested in hurting people. Just stay where you are and I'll be right there."

Then there was a click as Fae froze. "... Rose? ROSE?!" The phone was pulled from her head only for her to see that her cousin had hung up on her. "Oh great! Just what I needed!" She glared at the device before looking back down to the purring hairball thing and shuffled on her spot on the chair. Before squealing as it shook itself out like a dog sending droplets everywhere and Fae using her arms to shield herself from the spray. "UCK! HEY! Cut that out!"

The shaking stopped immediately and the eyeball again focused on her... after a moment Fae slowly lowered her arms peeking and eye out. Did this thing.. actually listen to her? It seemed to poof up in pride as she looked back to it. No. It couldn't possibly be that. This thing couldn't possibly understand her!...Could it? She slowly blinked before frowning a bit. She must be crazy! This was a hallucination from not sleeping enough! Or she was having a nightmare!..She pinched herself and winced from pain. Ok. Definitely not asleep or hallucinating. So why was this happening to HER?! Her eyes glanced between the thing and the open doorway. Could she make a run for it? Surely she must be faster than this thing. She could run outside and close the door behind her! But..then that would leave Smore alone with this  thing! It was too small to hurt her (maybe) but it could be big enough to hurt her bunny hiding upstairs! Not sure how exactly a tiny hairball thing could possibly hurt her or anything else but she wasn't taking any chances! Maybe she can trick it into leaving through the door? John or Rose could show up any minute! What would they think of do if they saw such a thing?!

"Why do these things always happen to me?" Her face fell into her hands. A purr sound made her look back at it. "Don't look at me like that! I'm always having bad luck! My guest could be here any moment and he's gonna walk in on me hiding from a... whatever it is you are!" The thing blinked and chattered in question at her. "Don't give me that! If I really had any luck you'd back off!"

The thing again blinked at her before Fae's jaw dropped in shock as it unwrapped itself from the chair and backed a foot or two away from the chair before looking back up at her. She stared at it silently in shock. Did this thing just...Listen to her?! Her mouth snapped shut as she narrowed her eyes at it.

".. I must be going crazy but thanks...I guess. But I'm staying right here until Rose shows up!"

She wasn't taking any chances in case this might be a trick! She stood there keeping a close eye on the hairball thing as it continued to watch her back. The minutes dragged on silently as the storm continued to storm on outside. Until she heard a sound of a door being opened in the building and looked over.

"Fae?!"

"ROSE!?" A sense of relief fell over her as. "Help me out here!" A moment later she cousin appeared panting in the doorway a raincoat thrown over her shoulders and slightly wet and dripping from the storm outside. "There it is!" She pointed at the chittering hairball. "Do something!"

Rose just stood there for a moment blinking before smiling and just casually shrugging off her coat. "Hey there." She looked right at the small hairball that chattered at her in question. The coat was quickly cast aside as Rose slowly approached. "Hey there little guy." She stopped right In front of the thing before kneeling down so close to it. "It's been a while since I saw one of you around here. Were you trying to get out of the rain?" The thing nodded. "Yeah. I thought as much. You all don't like water that much."

"What are you doing?!" Fae's jaw dropped as Rose just reached out and without any fear at all just grabbed the thing and held up the drenched hairball. Eck. Smelt like a wet dog after rolling in the trash. "What's that smell?!"

"The regular guy. Where's your bathroom?" Fae pointed up the stairs before Rose walked away carrying the thing in her arms. "I'll be right back. Just clean up the mess while you wait."

Fae's jaw dropped again. "WHAT?! HOW ARE YOU SO CALM RIGHT NOW?!"

"Just relax. I'll be back in a moment."

Fae could only just stare unbelieving from the chair as Rose walked up the stairs and into her room. SERIOUSLY?! COULDN'T SHE SEE THAT THING EAS A MONSTER AND NOT A STRAY DOG?! UGH!! She scowled at nothing and slowly got off the chair and winced at the water mess on the floor. She had to clean that up. In the middle of mopping in a daze, Fae jumped hearing some kind of parrot sounding screeches from upstairs and it continued onwards for a good twenty or thirty minutes before it stopped. All the while Fae stared in shock. Once it all finally ended silence resumed throughout the apartment other than the thunder and rain from the storm outside.

"...R-Rose?!," Fae eventually called out.

"I'm fine!," Rose's voice faintly called back much to Fae's relief. "Just got a lot wet!"

"Are you ok?!"

"Yeah! I'll be down in a minute!"

Fae was starting to get that worry again but didn't bring herself to question it again until Rose came back down the stairs. By the time her cousin appeared again walking back downstairs and holding a towel in her arms. Inside was a wrapped up hairball that blinked out curiously. But Rose's front from her shirt to her shoes was soaked by water. And just when she just finished mopping the floors.

"What did you do?"

"Give them a bath. They didn't like it too much but they smell better now. Sorry about the mess in your bathroom though. I'll help you clean it up before I leave." Rose then leaned over and plopped the thing on the sofa before firmly rubbing the towel on it and pulling it off. The hairball poofed up with a bit of static cling and Rose smiled at it. "There you go. All clean and dry. Sorry to put you through that but I think you'd be better received smelling like soap than a dumpster." The thing looked annoyed at her. "I bet you're hungry though! Luckily for you I have something you'll love!" 

Fae watched in disbelief as Rose reached into a pocket and pulled out a bag. "What is that?"

"Fishbones and pig and cow teeth I got from the local butcher's shop. Regular Guys love things like animal teeth and bones. I always keep some on stock in case I run into them." The furball seemed to excitedly purr as Rose handed over the open bag and the thing tore into it. Strands of the long black hair grabbing the bones and absorbing it into the mass of hair. "They look hungry so it's a good thing I remembered to bring it."

"No. Not that THAT?!" Fae pointed at the hairball. "What is that thing?! Where did it come from?! I've never seen that thing before!"

"Ooooh. Right. Um... Remember when I said there was a few things in here I said I had to explain to you?" Rose pointed out the furball. "This is one of them."

"But that still doesn't tell me WHAT it is."

"It's literally called a 'regular guy.'" She stressed out pointing at her. "Like how cats are called cats and humans are called humans. These little furry guys are called 'regular Guys'. They're not monsters either. They're a native species of being to Uncanny Valley. It's a big secret and we're not allowed to tell outsiders." Fae's jaw dropped. "I wanted to tell you sooner but I wanted to ease you into it first instead of springing it like this. I guess it's too late "

Fae looked unbelievably between Rose and the furrball before scowling. "Do you mean to tell me that I moved to a continent of dangerous creatures like in some twisted comic book?!"

"Hey. Not all of them are dangerous. A lot are quite easy to navigate around and a lot of them are pretty harmless." Rose patted the purring creature on the head. "Regular Guys are pretty friendly actually and rarely dangerous. They just want to live like everyone else. They come from a small island off the coast from the Mother Ball. That's a giant version of these guys." She explained. "Usually they break off from her but are quickly absorbed back in, others are lucky enough to swim across the ocean and make it onto land. Some are lucky enough to live here." She than frowned. "Some aren't so lucky and are captured only to be fed back into the Mother Ball.This little guy must be one of the lucky ones."

Fae still stared off partially numb. "Ok...Monster ball makes a bunch of little furballs...Ok. But WHY is it in my house?!"

"Regular Guys hate water as you can see." Rose gestured to her soaked clothes. "They must've crawled in to get away from the rain and scared you by accident. Don't worry. They're completely harmless."

Fae reached up her hands to clutch her head. "I must be going crazy. Is there anything else I should know about while I'm here?!"

"A few things actually." Rose turned to her seriously. "You might wanna sit down." Fae did on the chair she previously stood on. "Ok. Where to start?" Rose looked a bit nervous running a hand through her red hair. "Um...Well there's Regular Guys. You already know about them now."

"Obviously!"

"Well there's Realtors like Maison."

Fae blinked at her before raising a brow. "The guy who tried to sell me a house? Is he a hairball too!?"

"No. He's a REALTOR. A completely different thing than Regular Guys. REALTORS are a plant like creature that disguises themselves as a building. Usually a house, but they're not a house. Maison is a creature that disguises himself as a Real estate agent to lure people into his main body." Fae's eyes again widened. "He's a lot like a Venus fly trap. Once someone walks into a REALTORS 'house' it's all over. You're disgusted like a fly in a fly trap. That's why I told you not to trust them and only trust the official housing agency."

"ARE YOU SAYING THAT YOUR BOYFRIEND TRIED TO FREAKING EAT ME?! HOW COULD YOU NOT BE CONCERNED HE EATS PEOPLE!?"

"BECAUSE NOT EVERYTHING'S BLACK AND WHITE!!' Rose yelled back making Fae blink and lean back surprised at her cousins sudden anger towards her. "Maison is what he is! But he can't help it how he was born! A shark is born with the need to eat meat and if they're hungry enough they'll attack humans but there's plenty of people who understand that they're just doing what's their nature! Maison is going to do what's in his nature whether anyone likes it or not. Of course I don't like what he does! I hate that he does that. I hated that you nearly went through that. I was scared something like that would happen to you! But at the same time I can't just ask Maison to not be who he is,  Fae! He might not be human, but that doesn't make him a monster."

Fae only stared at her for a long, long moment before turning away. ''.... I'm sorry. I just... Don't like that-"

"I'm not asking you to like Maison or Realtors or anything else here. But not everything fits in the two categories of good or bad. Most are a complicated person in between those two lines. It's why I try to help them and anyone else who needs it. ..*sigh* Look. I'm so sorry for not telling you sooner. I wanted to buy I just couldn't. And there's still so much you don't know."

Fae held her head breathing deeply a few times. ".....Ok. It's ok...But.. promise me you're not going to keep anything else from me anymore."

She looked up as Rose grabbed her arms. "I promise. We have a lot to talk about but are you going to be able to handle it?"

Fae breathed in deeply before nodding. "Y-Yeah. I just need a minute. We also need to get that thing out of here before John shows up. Who knows what'll happen if he sees that in here?!"

"Calm down. Like I said, they're harmless. If John lives here then he won't be surprised to see a regular guy."

Fae looked at her again. "Why do you even call them that? Regular Guys sounds like a really weird name for a race of living hairballs. Wouldn't you guys have called them something else." She then looked over and paused when she saw that the Fuzzball had disappeared leaving just a few fragments of the bones Rose gave it. "Wait... Where'd it go?"

Rose looked behind her raising a brow but both looked towards the kitchen when a few loud purrs were heard. "Guess they were still hungry. ...Well, a reason we call them that is because they can look human when they want to."

Fae whipped to her wide eyed. "What? Those fuzzballs?..No."

"Yes. They can make bodies that look human and can even talk and think like us too. Like a 'regular Guys' on the streets. But their bodies dissolve in water like paper. It's one of the reasons why they hate water so much."

Fae blinked before shaking her head. "E-Either way, I'd rather not have it here. Can you do anything about it?"

Rose hummed. "Well...I suppose I could take them home with me and release them back out once it stops raining. I'm sure it'll be safe if they stay here though."

"No, no. I'd rather have you take it-"

"You're kicking me out?" A new voice made both women jump to their feet and whip to the kitchen door way wide eyed only to pause seeing a man with messy long black hair and clothing standing there giving his own concerned look.

Fae's eyes widened. "JOHN?!"

"Who?," Rose looked at her.

"My boyfriend!"

"I AM?!," John suddenly gushed instantly looking happy in the kitchen and clasping his hands.

"John, how'd you get in my kitchen?!," Fae asked shocked looking back at him.

"You let me in silly!"

"No I didn't. You never even showed up until now! Did you come in while I was mopping and just stay in the kitchen? You could've told me you came in."

Rose looked between the two before pausing as a realization hit her and her one blue eye widened. "Um. Fae." Her cousin looked at her. "Um. I don't know how to tell you this...but that man over there was the regular guy just now."

Fae blinked at her for a moment. Looked between them. Then frowned at Rose. "That's not funny, Rose."

"I'm not joking, Fae." John suddenly froze as Rose pointed right at him. "Your boyfriend is a regular guy. He has the same features as the Fuzzball. Black hair, yellow eyes, just appeared in the same kitchen as the Fuzzball..." She gave a small smile. "Your boyfriend came all the way to see you despite how much they hate water! Now that's dedication."

Fae slowly looked at John whom smiled nervously in the kitchen. A few beads of sweat on his face.. before her eyes rolled up in her head and she fell over in a dead faint.

For the 🦈SirenSong!AU, it looks like the popular idea is for the reader to be related to Logan, a.k.a. Wolverine! Got to admit, that will be one wild ride. Story ideas.

Scenario 1. Disassembled. Tony Stark's suit of armor around the world phase goes into complete and full effect. Get the right event to trigger it and I think Tony could be sent into Superman mode where he establishes a regime for the world’s protection. Tony takes full control of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the world by force. Captain America would rise up and lead a band full of heroes who are willing to do what's right and stop Tony Stark and the regime. Final boss fight. We choose between either Cap or Iron Man. If we choose Cap, then we fight Superior Iron Man, if we choose Iron Man, then Cap.

Scenario 2. Avengeance:Fall Of Midgard. human like Norman Osborn or Red Skull sneaking into Asgard with Loki’s help to kill Odin and Lady Sif. Events would manipulate the death of Jane Foster. Blaming Asgard and Midgard for not dealing with Loki and his associates for their many schemes, Thor decides to make changes. Thor is broken and the once Mighty son of Odin, turns back to his old ways and becomes a despotic king of Asgard. Thor wages war on Midgard. Years later Thor has taken over the entire world as well as Asgard, and rules it with an iron fist. Villains that don’t agree with him or opposes him are seen as threats are sent to the negative zone. All mutants are forced to register to work for the regime or be depowered permanently and imprisoned. Final boss fight is Odinforce Thor.

Scenario 3. Dark Reign. The Skrull Royal Family, escaping from the Mad Titan Thanos, strikes a deal with Norman Osborne to conquer Earth in a secret invasion. Queen Veranke of the Skrulls kidnaps and poses as the Scarlet Witch to destroy the Avengers from within. In the chaos, Norman betrays the aliens in order to get his hands on their technology. He is able to place his own Dark Avengers as the new Earth's Mightiest Heroes with the aid of Loki's illusions. Loki manipulates Norman to lead a siege of Asgard using advanced Skrull weapons. The Avengers must reunite along with new heroes to topple Osborne and Loki's Dark Reign once and for all. Post-Credits Scene: As Loki's manipulations come crashing down, he pulls a last ditch effort and influences the traumatized Wanda to use her reality-warping powers. He forces her to say the 3 words "No more heroes". Final boss fight. Iron Patriot.

(John) Doe Eyed Ch6 The Truth Comes Out

Fae shrieked as a giant single eyeball blinked up at her.

The lightning from the storm outside flashed lighting up the sky and all around her apartment, and just enough to show her what exactly was there on the floor just outside her doorway. A huge single eyeball blinked up at her from within a mass of black tangled hair. She squealed as it made some kind of purring noise and similar to how an octopus would walk, it crawled it's way right through the doorway. 

Towards HER.

She squealed and quickly backed away. The small furrball..cyclops...thing just went right after her. Leaving a wet trail of water behind it as it was soaked thoroughly, possibly from the storm outside, but that didn't matter right now. THERE WAS SOME KIND OF MONSTER IN HER HOUSE COMING RIGHT FOR HER!!! Fae continued backing up in both fright and shock as the thing still made weird cat like noises staring right up at her and still coming. Eventually she spotted her escape. In a panic she saw a single chair and without much of a thought darted for it making the furrball thing squeak in question at her. Before she knew it, she was standing on top of the chair hiding up and away from the furrball that still followed after her. It stopped just in front of the chair looking up at her before tilting to the left and squeaking a sound out in question. She felt herself cringe inwardly at it panic still taking hold of her. 

"W-WHAT IS THAT THING?!"

Of course no one else was there to answer her question. No one was here except herself, a scared bunny upstairs, and whatever the heck this monster hairball was!! It purred again and she grimaced more. Where did this thing come from?! What even WAS this?! Some kind of escaped science experiment?! A mutated animal?! Some kind of new undiscovered species that crawled out of a sewer drain because of the rain?! AN ALIEN?! Was it a monster?! She cringed further as it crawled over to one of the chair legs and wrapped a strand of hair around it. She winced and instantly patted her pockets for something that could help her and lo and behold had found her phone in one of said pockets. Immediately it was turned on and she dialed a number. The phone rang out as she held it up to her ear frightened as she continued to stare at the...the ..THING!!

"C'mon. C'mon."

A click came from the other side. "Hello? What's-"

"ROSE! HELP ME!!" She shrieked into the phone silencing the person on the other side. "THERE'S SOMETHING IN MY HOUSE!!"

"Fae?! Are you ok?! What's wrong?! What's going on?!"

"NO IM NOT OK!!" She winced as the thing made a longer and louder purring noise than before."There's some kind of alien monster thing in my house! It's all hairy and wet and it's not leaving me!!"

"Shit!,"Rose cursed from the other side also sounding panicked. "Ok. Um..Stay calm! Whatever you do just don't freak out."

"THERE'S A MONSTER IN MY HOUSE AND IM NOT SUPPOSED TO FREAK OUT?!"

"Just calm down!! Tell me what it looks like?!"

"Why would it's looks matter?!"

"FAE!!"

"I DUNNO!" She looked back to it again and it seemed to chirp happily that she did. "It's small and hairy and black and all wet...And like o-one eye? But what does that even matter?!"

There was a pause on the other side from Rose for a good moment. "...Is this 'monster' about the size of a cat and looks like a walking ball of hair?"

Fae blanked. "... YOU KNOW WHAT THIS THING IS?!"

Rose sighed. "Alright look. It's not going to hurt you, in fact it's probably a lot more scared of you than you are of it."

"I doubt that!"

"Look. I'm on my way over right now. It'll just take me an hour to get there. Just know that it's not really interested in hurting people. Just stay where you are and I'll be right there."

Then there was a click as Fae froze. "... Rose? ROSE?!" The phone was pulled from her head only for her to see that her cousin had hung up on her. "Oh great! Just what I needed!" She glared at the device before looking back down to the purring hairball thing and shuffled on her spot on the chair. Before squealing as it shook itself out like a dog sending droplets everywhere and Fae using her arms to shield herself from the spray. "UCK! HEY! Cut that out!"

The shaking stopped immediately and the eyeball again focused on her... after a moment Fae slowly lowered her arms peeking and eye out. Did this thing.. actually listen to her? It seemed to poof up in pride as she looked back to it. No. It couldn't possibly be that. This thing couldn't possibly understand her!...Could it? She slowly blinked before frowning a bit. She must be crazy! This was a hallucination from not sleeping enough! Or she was having a nightmare!..She pinched herself and winced from pain. Ok. Definitely not asleep or hallucinating. So why was this happening to HER?! Her eyes glanced between the thing and the open doorway. Could she make a run for it? Surely she must be faster than this thing. She could run outside and close the door behind her! But..then that would leave Smore alone with this  thing! It was too small to hurt her (maybe) but it could be big enough to hurt her bunny hiding upstairs! Not sure how exactly a tiny hairball thing could possibly hurt her or anything else but she wasn't taking any chances! Maybe she can trick it into leaving through the door? John or Rose could show up any minute! What would they think of do if they saw such a thing?!

"Why do these things always happen to me?" Her face fell into her hands. A purr sound made her look back at it. "Don't look at me like that! I'm always having bad luck! My guest could be here any moment and he's gonna walk in on me hiding from a... whatever it is you are!" The thing blinked and chattered in question at her. "Don't give me that! If I really had any luck you'd back off!"

The thing again blinked at her before Fae's jaw dropped in shock as it unwrapped itself from the chair and backed a foot or two away from the chair before looking back up at her. She stared at it silently in shock. Did this thing just...Listen to her?! Her mouth snapped shut as she narrowed her eyes at it.

".. I must be going crazy but thanks...I guess. But I'm staying right here until Rose shows up!"

She wasn't taking any chances in case this might be a trick! She stood there keeping a close eye on the hairball thing as it continued to watch her back. The minutes dragged on silently as the storm continued to storm on outside. Until she heard a sound of a door being opened in the building and looked over.

"Fae?!"

"ROSE!?" A sense of relief fell over her as. "Help me out here!" A moment later she cousin appeared panting in the doorway a raincoat thrown over her shoulders and slightly wet and dripping from the storm outside. "There it is!" She pointed at the chittering hairball. "Do something!"

Rose just stood there for a moment blinking before smiling and just casually shrugging off her coat. "Hey there." She looked right at the small hairball that chattered at her in question. The coat was quickly cast aside as Rose slowly approached. "Hey there little guy." She stopped right In front of the thing before kneeling down so close to it. "It's been a while since I saw one of you around here. Were you trying to get out of the rain?" The thing nodded. "Yeah. I thought as much. You all don't like water that much."

"What are you doing?!" Fae's jaw dropped as Rose just reached out and without any fear at all just grabbed the thing and held up the drenched hairball. Eck. Smelt like a wet dog after rolling in the trash. "What's that smell?!"

"The regular guy. Where's your bathroom?" Fae pointed up the stairs before Rose walked away carrying the thing in her arms. "I'll be right back. Just clean up the mess while you wait."

Fae's jaw dropped again. "WHAT?! HOW ARE YOU SO CALM RIGHT NOW?!"

"Just relax. I'll be back in a moment."

Fae could only just stare unbelieving from the chair as Rose walked up the stairs and into her room. SERIOUSLY?! COULDN'T SHE SEE THAT THING EAS A MONSTER AND NOT A STRAY DOG?! UGH!! She scowled at nothing and slowly got off the chair and winced at the water mess on the floor. She had to clean that up. In the middle of mopping in a daze, Fae jumped hearing some kind of parrot sounding screeches from upstairs and it continued onwards for a good twenty or thirty minutes before it stopped. All the while Fae stared in shock. Once it all finally ended silence resumed throughout the apartment other than the thunder and rain from the storm outside.

"...R-Rose?!," Fae eventually called out.

"I'm fine!," Rose's voice faintly called back much to Fae's relief. "Just got a lot wet!"

"Are you ok?!"

"Yeah! I'll be down in a minute!"

Fae was starting to get that worry again but didn't bring herself to question it again until Rose came back down the stairs. By the time her cousin appeared again walking back downstairs and holding a towel in her arms. Inside was a wrapped up hairball that blinked out curiously. But Rose's front from her shirt to her shoes was soaked by water. And just when she just finished mopping the floors.

"What did you do?"

"Give them a bath. They didn't like it too much but they smell better now. Sorry about the mess in your bathroom though. I'll help you clean it up before I leave." Rose then leaned over and plopped the thing on the sofa before firmly rubbing the towel on it and pulling it off. The hairball poofed up with a bit of static cling and Rose smiled at it. "There you go. All clean and dry. Sorry to put you through that but I think you'd be better received smelling like soap than a dumpster." The thing looked annoyed at her. "I bet you're hungry though! Luckily for you I have something you'll love!" 

Fae watched in disbelief as Rose reached into a pocket and pulled out a bag. "What is that?"

"Fishbones and pig and cow teeth I got from the local butcher's shop. Regular Guys love things like animal teeth and bones. I always keep some on stock in case I run into them." The furball seemed to excitedly purr as Rose handed over the open bag and the thing tore into it. Strands of the long black hair grabbing the bones and absorbing it into the mass of hair. "They look hungry so it's a good thing I remembered to bring it."

"No. Not that THAT?!" Fae pointed at the hairball. "What is that thing?! Where did it come from?! I've never seen that thing before!"

"Ooooh. Right. Um... Remember when I said there was a few things in here I said I had to explain to you?" Rose pointed out the furball. "This is one of them."

"But that still doesn't tell me WHAT it is."

"It's literally called a 'regular guy.'" She stressed out pointing at her. "Like how cats are called cats and humans are called humans. These little furry guys are called 'regular Guys'. They're not monsters either. They're a native species of being to Uncanny Valley. It's a big secret and we're not allowed to tell outsiders." Fae's jaw dropped. "I wanted to tell you sooner but I wanted to ease you into it first instead of springing it like this. I guess it's too late "

Fae looked unbelievably between Rose and the furrball before scowling. "Do you mean to tell me that I moved to a continent of dangerous creatures like in some twisted comic book?!"

"Hey. Not all of them are dangerous. A lot are quite easy to navigate around and a lot of them are pretty harmless." Rose patted the purring creature on the head. "Regular Guys are pretty friendly actually and rarely dangerous. They just want to live like everyone else. They come from a small island off the coast from the Mother Ball. That's a giant version of these guys." She explained. "Usually they break off from her but are quickly absorbed back in, others are lucky enough to swim across the ocean and make it onto land. Some are lucky enough to live here." She than frowned. "Some aren't so lucky and are captured only to be fed back into the Mother Ball.This little guy must be one of the lucky ones."

Fae still stared off partially numb. "Ok...Monster ball makes a bunch of little furballs...Ok. But WHY is it in my house?!"

"Regular Guys hate water as you can see." Rose gestured to her soaked clothes. "They must've crawled in to get away from the rain and scared you by accident. Don't worry. They're completely harmless."

Fae reached up her hands to clutch her head. "I must be going crazy. Is there anything else I should know about while I'm here?!"

"A few things actually." Rose turned to her seriously. "You might wanna sit down." Fae did on the chair she previously stood on. "Ok. Where to start?" Rose looked a bit nervous running a hand through her red hair. "Um...Well there's Regular Guys. You already know about them now."

"Obviously!"

"Well there's Realtors like Maison."

Fae blinked at her before raising a brow. "The guy who tried to sell me a house? Is he a hairball too!?"

"No. He's a REALTOR. A completely different thing than Regular Guys. REALTORS are a plant like creature that disguises themselves as a building. Usually a house, but they're not a house. Maison is a creature that disguises himself as a Real estate agent to lure people into his main body." Fae's eyes again widened. "He's a lot like a Venus fly trap. Once someone walks into a REALTORS 'house' it's all over. You're disgusted like a fly in a fly trap. That's why I told you not to trust them and only trust the official housing agency."

"ARE YOU SAYING THAT YOUR BOYFRIEND TRIED TO FREAKING EAT ME?! HOW COULD YOU NOT BE CONCERNED HE EATS PEOPLE!?"

"BECAUSE NOT EVERYTHING'S BLACK AND WHITE!!' Rose yelled back making Fae blink and lean back surprised at her cousins sudden anger towards her. "Maison is what he is! But he can't help it how he was born! A shark is born with the need to eat meat and if they're hungry enough they'll attack humans but there's plenty of people who understand that they're just doing what's their nature! Maison is going to do what's in his nature whether anyone likes it or not. Of course I don't like what he does! I hate that he does that. I hated that you nearly went through that. I was scared something like that would happen to you! But at the same time I can't just ask Maison to not be who he is,  Fae! He might not be human, but that doesn't make him a monster."

Fae only stared at her for a long, long moment before turning away. ''.... I'm sorry. I just... Don't like that-"

"I'm not asking you to like Maison or Realtors or anything else here. But not everything fits in the two categories of good or bad. Most are a complicated person in between those two lines. It's why I try to help them and anyone else who needs it. ..*sigh* Look. I'm so sorry for not telling you sooner. I wanted to buy I just couldn't. And there's still so much you don't know."

Fae held her head breathing deeply a few times. ".....Ok. It's ok...But.. promise me you're not going to keep anything else from me anymore."

She looked up as Rose grabbed her arms. "I promise. We have a lot to talk about but are you going to be able to handle it?"

Fae breathed in deeply before nodding. "Y-Yeah. I just need a minute. We also need to get that thing out of here before John shows up. Who knows what'll happen if he sees that in here?!"

"Calm down. Like I said, they're harmless. If John lives here then he won't be surprised to see a regular guy."

Fae looked at her again. "Why do you even call them that? Regular Guys sounds like a really weird name for a race of living hairballs. Wouldn't you guys have called them something else." She then looked over and paused when she saw that the Fuzzball had disappeared leaving just a few fragments of the bones Rose gave it. "Wait... Where'd it go?"

Rose looked behind her raising a brow but both looked towards the kitchen when a few loud purrs were heard. "Guess they were still hungry. ...Well, a reason we call them that is because they can look human when they want to."

Fae whipped to her wide eyed. "What? Those fuzzballs?..No."

"Yes. They can make bodies that look human and can even talk and think like us too. Like a 'regular Guys' on the streets. But their bodies dissolve in water like paper. It's one of the reasons why they hate water so much."

Fae blinked before shaking her head. "E-Either way, I'd rather not have it here. Can you do anything about it?"

Rose hummed. "Well...I suppose I could take them home with me and release them back out once it stops raining. I'm sure it'll be safe if they stay here though."

"No, no. I'd rather have you take it-"

"You're kicking me out?" A new voice made both women jump to their feet and whip to the kitchen door way wide eyed only to pause seeing a man with messy long black hair and clothing standing there giving his own concerned look.

Fae's eyes widened. "JOHN?!"

"Who?," Rose looked at her.

"My boyfriend!"

"I AM?!," John suddenly gushed instantly looking happy in the kitchen and clasping his hands.

"John, how'd you get in my kitchen?!," Fae asked shocked looking back at him.

"You let me in silly!"

"No I didn't. You never even showed up until now! Did you come in while I was mopping and just stay in the kitchen? You could've told me you came in."

Rose looked between the two before pausing as a realization hit her and her one blue eye widened. "Um. Fae." Her cousin looked at her. "Um. I don't know how to tell you this...but that man over there was the regular guy just now."

Fae blinked at her for a moment. Looked between them. Then frowned at Rose. "That's not funny, Rose."

"I'm not joking, Fae." John suddenly froze as Rose pointed right at him. "Your boyfriend is a regular guy. He has the same features as the Fuzzball. Black hair, yellow eyes, just appeared in the same kitchen as the Fuzzball..." She gave a small smile. "Your boyfriend came all the way to see you despite how much they hate water! Now that's dedication."

Fae slowly looked at John whom smiled nervously in the kitchen. A few beads of sweat on his face.. before her eyes rolled up in her head and she fell over in a dead faint.

Meet Captain America written by Paul Giacoppo

Well, this episode starts off with Kang watching old film stock of Captain America before transitioning to The Howling Commandos fighting Hydra trying to infiltrate one of their bases. Captain America and Bucky arrive to add. Those two do end up making it through to the castle where Hydra base is located before being attacked by a giant Cyclopes monster. Inside the hydra base, they come across hydra weird experiments. the red skull reveals himself revealing that he has found a stone that allows him to access the Bifrost where he has been capturing monsters. Cap and Bucky can fight off the monster and send them back through the portal but the red skull runs off. They pursue him and both manage to get on the Red Skull's jet before he escapes but during a fight, skull sets the rocket to self-destruct. Bucky kicks Cap off the jet but he isn't able to and Cap falls in the ice. Pulling back Kang is disappointed as he is unable to figure out what's causing his timeline to start to collapse all he knows is that Captain America has something to do with it. While he attempts to leave his base he love Princess Ravonna but she ends up getting caught in one of the time anomalies and starts to fade in and out of existence. Kang swears with this he'll do whatever he has to do to save his time and Ravonna even if he has to conquer the past

This episode was pretty neat. It was cool to see the Howling Commandos, which her included Nick's father Jack Fury and pre-adamantium Wolverine. All the creature designs were also really cool and unique. If I had had criticism because the introduction is so action focus I feel that there ended not being a lot of time to really establish Steve personality. He's determined and brave but compared to the last three who all did have moments that really established who they are Cap feels like he gets least. This is in contrast to Kang who actually does get a strong sense of who he is as a character.

Something funny about this episode is that it's set in WWII but they are clearly not allowed any kind of reference to the Nazis. Everything is the Hydra Octopus logo. Red Skull even refers to the Allies by name but nothing about nazis. I remember reading something a few years back the creators basically had a choice between depicting realistic firearms or Nazis but they couldn't have both. I don't know if that was true. Censorship standards sense the earlier 90s basically prevented any reference being in children's cartoons so it's actually some EMH manage to get away with as much as they did.

The episode starts with The Blob, aka Freddy Dukes, being offered a place at Bayville High by Principal Darkholme after his performance at a monster truck show. On his first day, Freddy meets Jean Grey and falls for her. During lunch, Freddy while trying to sit down accidentally flips a table, causing a food fight and destroying the cafeteria. Jean talks to Freddy about controlling his powers and invites him to meet Professor Xavier. Later, Freddy finds a picture of Jean and Scott in Jean's backpack, tears out Scott's part, and keeps the piece with Jean in it. Fred asks Jean out, but she declines. He gets angry and takes her to talk privately. They fight, knocking over scaffolding and causing Jean to pass out. Later, Fred ties her to a chair for a candlelit dinner. Jean calls Professor Xavier for help. Meanwhile, Wolverine and Xavier watch Kurt and Kitty play football. Xavier gets Jean's call and sends Wolverine to find her. Rogue tells Scott she wishes for a deeper connection with someone. Kurt teleports Scott away to search for Jean. Wolverine attacks Blob, who knocks him out. Scott blasts Blob, but he throws Wolverine at him and Scott goes down too. Jean hits Blob with a filing cabinet, making him angry. Rogue absorbs Cyclops’ powers and attacks Blob, knocking him out. She runs off, and Wolverine stops Jean from following. Kitty and Scott agree they owe Rogue.

This episode was just okay. Watching The Blob's socially awkward and extremely short tempered was sad to watch. Rogue character development was interesting. But right now I have to say I'm a little confused about what characters what and how much they know about each other, because it's a little vague.

I really just can't think of much to say about this episode, sad to say. I don't feel like the main X-men characters had much development. I will say this is another episode that had some strong 00's vibe. Just the layout of the lunch room and the fashions on display was so new millennium.
