double trouble - alhaitham, zhongli x f reader.
Tumblr media
warning: contains sexual content, please read at your own risk!
(play to match the moment)
Everybody knows that you're the most trustable, almighty traveler who's willing to save Teyvat there and whenever, but people most likely don't know, that you are just some sick and desperate whore for dick. Mainly craving for something whenever you arrive at a new region, but we ain't talking about food here, you were looking for dicks.
That's when Zhongli, the God of Contracts messes with you unintentionally, you two met in a very interesting way, and thanks to the harbinger friend you have, you and Zhongli started to develop some interesting friendship that turns into something more.
It was just friendly smiles, a smile on your face when you first met the God of Contracts, at first you didn't know he was a fucking god, not until he reveal his secret when it was just you two alone.
The man suddenly took an interest on you, just by carefully observing you made him grew curious on what you really are, he wants to find out more about you, he wants to explore you, he wants to see your true colors, he needs you. He fucking wants to own you by himself.
That's when you two hanged out together in his home, the man suddenly became generous on bringing you to his house, invited you for a cup tea, but that cup of tea lead to something else and something more.
Your ass is now pressing hard against his fucking bulge. Damn he felt so hard at the moment, his thoughts are wild.
"Keep this as a secret, would you hm?" Zhongli said with a small grin on his face, offered you to sit on his lap, as the obedient being you are you did what he said. Your figure next to him makes you look like a worm, he's too big.
That's when the lord of geo started wrapping his hands around your waist, gripping it, pushing your figure closer to him, you let out a yelp to this, hell you didn't expect the lord of geo was this aggressive?
"Fuck... Do you know how needy am I right now?" Damn, this man just got 10x hotter when he curses, it's a blessing, it's music to your ears. Just your moans and needy tone added an energy recharge to him.
The God of Contracts is a monster when it comes to kissing, he's like vacuuming the hell out of your soul, sitting on his lap like a good dog you are, purposely grinding on it, the man couldn't focus on your lips when your pussy is on his thigh, those soft ones he wishes to eat after this.
"I want you to call me Morax when we do this kind of thing." He demanded, gripping your waist tightly.
"Why so?" You tried to sound strong while humping on his thigh.
"It turns me on." He said sexily, flashing a small grin, eating you after.
Zhongli had your mind caught in the night while you are in Alhaitham's bed, fucking you senseless. Your moans filling up the room, your hands forcibly trying to grip on his besheets, oh archons he was so big too, just like Zhongli. And why the hell are you thinking about Zhongli when Alhaitham is literally pounding on your pussy right now?
Alhaitham is already one of your new bad news and new trouble.
"Fuck, you're so tight y/n." Alhitham grunts, sweat already covering half of his body, looking at your arche back, your ass already covered in deep shade of red from the spanking he did to you earlier.
"Ngh... haitham..." You were trying to say something but ended up releasing a moan, hell he likes that.
"Fucking whore huh? Desperate for me" Alhaitham said while still pounding on you, pushing it back and forth already at a fast pace that got you started crying.
"Oh archons, oh morax..." You said freely, which got Alhaitham wondering why you said such specific archon when you could've just implemented all of them? You're fucked. (literally)
Alhaitham didn't bothered to stop, until he's completey satisfied, you're already out of breath when he did his final and pleasing push that got you squirting your juices on his fresh bedsheets, you both came.
"Morax huh? You know him?" Alhaitham questioned, laying down beside you, wrapping his hands around your waist, you two could feel each other's body and Alhaitham's hard cock pressing on your asscheeks.
"I do, we were close friends back when I was still in Liyue." You said, curling your toes at the thought of that golden brown-haired man, suddenly remembering how that long hair of his that got you pulling it backward.
"Hmm, what if I told you that I know him too? And he's here in Sumeru?" Alhaitham said on the crook of your neck that got you sending shivers.
How on earth does this man knew Zhongli personally? Are they friends? If they are then they'd be a set of hot best friends.
"Y-you do?" You stuttered, you already missed him so much, and you miss his hard and long pillar too.
"Yeah, can't believe I befriended a God, and I expect that you ride his dick too?" Alhaitham is so blunt at the moment, his long cock pressing hard against your back right now, it feels like he's still not done?
"Easy on her would you?" Your eyes widen when you hear that deep voice, suddenly inserting the scene, Alhaitham could only release an annoyed sigh.
Alhaitham tilts his head toward Zhongli who's just had his arms crossed, leaning against the doorframe looking at the two of you in the bed, and Zhongli knows damn well that you are naked underneath those stupid bedsheets that have been covering your goddess body.
"And why are you here? Could've knocked on the door?" Alhaitham sits up, you following him too. The silver-haired annoyingly said, eyeing Zhongli disgustingly, rolling his eyes.
Zhongli didn't answer yet, his eyes traveling towards you, your heart immediately starts racing at his golden brown eyes staring at you, more like eye fucking you.
He then turned his gaze towards the man beside you. "I tried knocking on the door, but I'm afraid I was not being heard," Zhongli stated, earning a huff from Alhaitham.
"Since when did you come?" Alhaitham asks the Archon.
"Just five minutes ago, you know I missed my old friend here in Sumeru, that's why I decided to pay you a visit, didn't expect the traveler to be in the same bed as him?" Zhongli looking at you again, a small grin on his lips, you gulp.
"My bad." Alhaitham lazily said, resting his head on the back of your neck, purposely trying to make Zhongli jealous.
That's it, Zhongli can't get enough of you, slowly walk towards you both, earning a groan from Alhaitham who's now letting go of your body, being occupied by Zhongli's mouth on your lips, you close your eyes feeling him, oh how you missed him, his scent, his voice, and his dick too.
"My sweet one, I've longed for you so much," Zhongli said after kissing you, now his lips on your neck, you could feel his tongue just licking and nibbling it making you yelp, the old man just chuckle at your cute reactions.
"Come back to Liyue, my love." Zhongli muttered agaisnt your ear, you flash a small smile. "Soon, Morax." You stated, purposely emphasizing the last word, you know that he knows he likes being called by his Archon name. Zhongli smirked at your words, his hand touching your legs, just gently caressing it.
"You know it's not the same when you're not by my side, my love." Zhongli said sweetly, you know damn well this man is very impatient when you aren't by his side, specially when you're staying in Sumeru to have information from your lost brother.
"I know, I'll promise I'll come back soon." You said sincerely, the man could only hummed, gently locking eyes with you as he kisses your neck. Alhaitham who's just beside you both is busy looking at you two doing the nasty, it's like watching the love of his life gets taken by someone, and it's a God. Much worse, his best friend too. He knows he got no chance, but damn he will fight for that pussy, he will fight for it no matter what, Alhaitham likes the taste of you. Alhitham just rolls his eyes, he should've locked the doors to have some free time with you.
"Is this your dream? To be under me? And my old friend here?" Zhongli said after kissing your neck. "Glad you both still remember that I'm still here." Alhaitham joked, earning a deep chuckle from the lord of geo.
"Why don't you join us Alhaitham?" Zhongli offered, pushing you down in bed, the old man is already unbuckling his belt, and Alhaitham could only sigh again.
"I should be the one asking you that since this is my house and you're disturbing us both." The silver haired stated, clearly not amazed by this situation. Zhongli could only chuckle, you are experiencing the two quarrel over small things.
"My, forgive me. May I join you both?" Zhongli rephrased, a satisfied Alhaitham near the bedpost is clear, finding this quite amusing now.
Alhaitham flash a big grin, turning to you, locking gazes with your pretty eyes. "Fuck her senseless here and there? I'd be glad my friend." Alhaitham's tone is evident that he's in for another round, but this time, someone's joining. Zhongli had his pants and underwear down, your eyes landed on his long one, and you start to drool at it.
"You miss this don't you?" Zhongli teased, earning a blush from you.
That's when the two men started giving you pleasure in one bed, open arms, open legs, and open mouth.
A God, and his scribe, pleasing you? What a dream hmm?
"Now, sit still my sweet one." Zhongli caressing your face. Your back laying on Alhaitham's chest, his hands travelling lower and lower to the deepest part of your core. "Be a good girl for us alright?" Alhaitham whispers in your ear. You are really about to be destroyed tonight.
im so fucking lazy to finish this <3333

Day 49: Hateno School, Secrets, and History
In the morning, I report back to Sophie. She says Cece loves the plain, slow life here. She thinks Cece and Reede want the same things. I should speak to him.
On the way to the inn I speak with Leop. He and his son-in-law Worten like things simple, but his daughter Prima loves Cece. This thing really is tearing families apart.
Worten and Prima run the inn. Prima's nagging him to wear a Cece hat, so he's hiding on the veranda.
I find Hateno's Goddess statue and grab stamina to make two even circles. I should probably collect some hearts next time.
Tumblr media
At the Mayor's House I chat to Clavia, his wife. Reede's got a secret shed and she wants to know why. He goes in at midday, apparently.
I wonder if the nearby wells would get me under the shed, but then I see Reede's daughter heading to the school and I decide I'd like to see it.
It's a beautifully cheerful building, one of Hudson's I think.
Tumblr media
Symin is advertising for teachers on the board outside! Is he here?
Symin!
As good as it is to see old friends, I don't enjoy having to tell yet another person that I came back without Zelda.
He says the Princess built this school.
There's a notebook upstairs with evaluations - Symin's addressed them to Zelda.
Aster, Medda's daughter. Active, loves her father, likes tomatoes, optimistic.
Karin, the mayor's daughter. Kind but shy, not confident but perceptive. Loves maths and helping her father, may one day be a scholar.
Azu, Ivee's brother, Amira's son. AKA A-Zoom, hero. Used to be best friends with Sefaro but Sefaro is now busy at the dye shop.
Sefaro, Sayge's son. Firebrand, but bright. Reads adult books and about the Calamity.
They sound like a great group of kids.
Symin writes that he had some kind of premonition before the Upheaval - he felt it before the Calamity also. He hopes the Princess will be safe with me at her side.
Well. That didn't work. I failed.
I sit in on Symin's Calamity lesson. He reminds me that there was another Princess and another Swordsman 10,000 years ago, with a Sword that Seals the Darkness.
It sets me to thinking. How long ago were the Zonai, exactly? Was that Zelda, the Princess from 10,000 years ago? In which case, who exactly was the hero?
The kids don't even believe the story. I nip back to Kakariko for a picture of the screen they have that depicts those events.
I should know my history better. Symin says the 10,000 years ago Calamity involved the Sheikah and the Divine Beasts. Zelda's gone even further back than that... but even then, there was a Princess, a Sword, and an Ancient Hero.
It's so strange to be standing here as Symin recounts the events of our Calamity. The loss of the Champions, Zelda's power, my healing sleep…
Tumblr media
Azu wants to be like the ancient hero - he's even wearing green.
The next lesson is home economics. What does Goron spice, Hylian rice and monster extract make? The kids don't believe you can eat monster extract. Kilton's the only guy I know who sells it, and he said he was going to Tarrey Town… Maybe I should head over that way once I'm finished here and fetch some, so the kids can give it a try.
Now, Reede's secret shed. The tunnels under the wells are incredibly convoluted - but if there's a bubbulfrog, I can't find it. I do, however, manage to ascend into Reede's shed and read his journal.
He's trying to breed a new pumpkin. Him and Nack are working on a Cece-inspired pumpkin to appeal to the youth.
I go and speak to Reede, and it seems that the new pumpkin is only half of his plan. The other half is to bring back an old taste that his grandfather collaborated on… is he talking about cheese? Because I already helped Koyin make cheese, days ago. I give him the sample Koyin gave me. He gives me 100 rupees for it, to be fair.
I catch Clavia on her way to bed and tell her about the secret pumpkin - she gives me some tomatoes in return.
Speaking of Koyin… I don't think she was wearing a Cece hat. I climb the hill and give her and her dad mushrooms. Dantz reminds me of his need for acorns, so I head into the forest for some squirrel hunting. It takes me the night to find one.

Jokes on all of you, I'm doing little head canons for all versions because 🤷‍♀️
Also and I can not stress enough that these take place in Breath of the Wild. I don't think there will be spoilers, but just in case if you haven't played it or plan on playing it, I would advise turning away now.
Tumblr media
Hylian!Jack, who lives in Hateno Village, and runs a little school house teaching all the local children.
Hylian!Jack, who tries to keep things positive and happy for not only the kids but also the whole village. He isn't sure what's going to happen to hyrule with the calamity, but he can't see his home so sad.
Hylian!Jack, who immediately greets you and Link when you enter the village. He points link up to the lab at the top before helping you find your way to the armor shop.
Hylian!Jack, who stays with you until Link comes back. When Link comes back, he signs to you the next assignment before waving goodbye to Jack and walking past the two of you.
Hylian!Jack who panics slightly. He was really starting to like you. He wants to spend more time with me, but if you're traveling, who knows when or if he will ever see you again.
"Wait! It's getting pretty late. Maybe you guys should stay at the Inn and leave in the morning?"
Hylian!Jack, who watches as you and Link talk about it before coming to an agreement to stay.
Hylian!Jack, who gets excited that he gets to spend more time with you. Maybe he can convince you to settle down here? No? okay, well, how about settling for sending mail to each other?
"Oh! Jack said you two will be staying. Don't worry, he already paid for the two of you he even got you our best beds! He is such a nice guy. He seems to be really good friends, Sayge. Always helping dye things thought he always seems to get hit by the color blue. Always on his head too its so odd. Oh! dont mind me just talking to myself. Enjoy your stay!"
Tumblr media
Before we get into headcanons, I wanna talk about the way Jack looks as Rito, in my opinion, Tho I would love to hear other people's thoughts!
Body wise, he is similar to Kass Top heavy with a smaller bottom. His main feather color is the same blue as his hair. The fathers on his chest and layered under the blue on his wings is Yellow like on his belt, and under the yellow layer is red like on his belt. Though if you were ever to find or pluck one of his fathers, the end that one wouldn't see otherwise is brown. He has the red eye markings like his clown makeup, just not the chin part. for now he has traditional Rito clothes cause I can't think of anything good rn tho this is subject to change.
He is a big, colorful Rito who seems to struggle to fly sometimes. Like he wasn't born to do it like the others.
Rito!Jack Who three years ago flew into the village from a VERY far away place. He took time getting to know everyone and finding his place, but when he did, he requested to have a space to teach the kids. He thinks it would be very beneficial, and after making his case, the Elder agrees.
Rito!Jack Who eventually has to teach the kids closer to the entrance of the village due to Vah Medoh taking residence close to the top.
Rito!Jack Who greets you and Link with the children. They also lead the two of you to the Elder. While Link and the Elder talk, the child asks you questions. It was rare for hylians to come to a Rito village. Especially since Vah Medoh started acting up.
Rito!Jack, who offers you to stay with him while Link finds Teba to further discuss things. Since you guys could only afford one snowquill set, and it was too cold for a little hylian like you, it made sense. So you did.
Rito!Jack, who is seducing you even giving you one of his pretty feathers to out in your hair while Link and Teba risk their lives for the village. "It would be harder to take the two of you. it's for the best sunshine."
Rito! Jack, who is hesitant to let you go when Link comes back successful and alive. This means you're gonna leave, right? what if you never return? What if you die?! Oh goddess....
Rito! Jack, who, with the help of the elder and Teba, gets the two of you to stay at the Inn. While everyone is asleep, he WILL get you to stay. He HAS to.
"Oh, hey, link! what can I help you with? Your friend? Sorry I haven't seen them since yesterday when they were with Jack. Have you asked him? He said the same thing? ....odd. Maybe they went home or to the stable?"
Tumblr media
As before, I would like to talk about Jack's Zora appearance before the headcanons so you have a visual.
Zora Jack is roughly half the height of Sidon. The color of his scales are the same blue as his hair. His fins are red and yellow.
Zora isn't known to wear clothes, so he doesn't wear any, but he does wear a metal belt that kind resembles his clown belt. Speaking of clown, he doesn't have his clown markings, but his eyes are an odd brown that isn't common in Zoras.
Jack is large Zora that is close to Sidon in both personality and color scheme. It's a good thing his main color isn't red or he would be mistaken for the price! If it wasn't for the fact that it's well known, he isn't from Zora's domain he would have been mistaken a child of the king with his color and attitude.
Zora! Jack, who loved royalty and commoners folk alike. Always kind and always willing to help. He even volunteers to educate the kids.
Zora! Jack, who helps, however, he can when Vah Ruta begins acting up. Though it wasn't much, he stilled heal warriors who tried to go after the lynel and kept the little one occupied with happy thoughts.
Zora! Jack, who heard about yours and Link's arrival before the two of you even got the to domain. He just had to meet the potential saviors of the domain.
Zora! Jack, who is immediately infatuated by you. So, while the Prince and Link talk about strategies and putting them into action, he pulls you aside, teaching you new healing tonics and playing with the children.
Zora! Jack, who takes up all your time while your companion risks his life in Vah Ruta. "I know, sunshine, but I'm sure he will be okay! he is the legendary hero, after all."
Zora! Jack, who doesn't have to worry about you leaving after tamping he mechanical beast since Sidon already convinced Link to stay longer. So he Jack takes you for a swim that night
"It's okay, Sunshine. It's just the two of us, so there is nothing to worry about. Just look at me....and only me."

I hate to wonder who the poor soul was at Nintendo who had to look at the costume design team for Tears of the Kingdom and say
"Look. Hey, look me in the eyes. You have to be VERY FUCKING CAREFUL about how you let Sayge dye the Depths set. Okay? I'm not fucking joking"

@flockrest
Hi Ray! Uhh it’s your resident lurker, the one who wrote that long-ass ask about Link and Tulin being so similar? Y’know how I said the colors post was giving me some brainrot? Yeah, uh.. this is in part inspired by that. I hope you enjoy? A!! (And seriously, no pressure to respond!! + if you'd like me to remove this for whatever reason, then please let me know!!)
(Also a warning, this is long as shit, like. Almost 2000 words according to google docs, so it is MOST CERTAINLY under a read more! There are TOTK endgame spoilers so. Watch out, reader, if for whatever reason you haven't gotten that far!)
Ganondorf could not kill them. Nor could he kill their spirits, their drive, their care for eachother.
But what he did do to to them sure as hell killed Link’s creativity, for a couple months.
Even now that Sonia and Rauru had returned his arm to him, unscarred and without its old aches and pains, Link found it harder than ever to create with that hand. Maybe the aforementioned is all the reason he needs- it feels nothing like how it should feel. It doesn’t feel like his anymore.
It was one thing when his pains were tangible, physical- he could do something about them, or take something for them. But the phantom pains, both from his scars of days past and his time with the ‘gift’ of Rauru’s arm? There’s so little to be done about them.
But eventually, Link does what he has always done: fight through his discomfort and pain to achieve his goals. Now, that doesn’t mean it isn’t slow going, but he doesn’t bother to note it as often as he used to, these days. Time passing, ‘wasted’, is no problem, now that the threats to his home and friends are gone once more.
He has a new project he’s working on. Gifts, one for all of his friends- Zelda, the sages, so many people that have helped them all along the way. Yona especially, a marriage gift for her for when the time comes.
He makes Zelda’s first. A scarf, themed after her dragon form and lined with beads made of the shards that would break off the spikes of her spine. She has mixed feelings when he first presents it, but the way the beads help her relax turns the tide, and Link doesn't miss how she takes very cooler day as an opportunity to wear it.
Yunobo’s has to wait until Link has all his strength back- it requires stone-carving and metal-working, and he can’t do that comfortably yet- not from a pain standpoint, more inexperience. Same for Sidon and Yona’s gifts, but theirs will come first.
Riju gets a new plush for her collection, fashioned after her favorite sandseal. It wears a plush version of the Lightning Helm crooked on its head, and Link very kindly does not comment when Riju starts getting teary in his home, after a dinner with him and Zelda. The two of them have always been rather sentimental people, at heart, and he will allow her to keep the facade of being anything else if she so wishes.
Then comes Tulin. Tulin, for as long as Link can remember, has been an adventurer at heart. He has all he needs at his home village, all he could ever ask, and the wilds give him all he could ever want, but comfort in the latter isn’t easy to come by sometimes. So Link's idea is something.. seemingly simple, but not so much to make.
Link takes months to make it, longer than any of the other gifts. He has to mine and buy rubies, both of which take time and energy. He has to carefully dye all the thread and fabric he needs, but Sayge is kind enough to lend their services- as well as their keen eye for color. Riju takes the rubies to Gerudo Town so they can be prepared by a proper expert on them, the best anyone could ever know. Link loves the jewels that come from Isha, he knew when he got the finished product returned that he made the right investment.
And eventually, a rhythm builds. Piece by piece, color by color, the gift comes together. And it’s ready by the time Link goes to Rito Village next to join Tulin on a journey.
The day goes as it always does, when Link visits. Tulin still wears the Secret Stone around his ankle, and the colors of the band holding it are still as vivid and clear as they were the day he received it. He even wears a similar, braided band Link made to ‘counterbalance’ on the opposing ankle.
Green, Red, Yellow. May the Windlines carry you far, and come home to me alive. You won’t fight alone.
Link had made it, admittedly clumsily, when Tulin first became a Sage. Link promised to make a nicer one, when he could, but Tulin had refused. He was attached to the gift, it seemed. For the best- Link never found the time to make a better one, as much as he hated that fact.
Link finds Tulin in the Village, assuring and reassuring too many times over that he would be fine. He’d be back in a few weeks with Link, and it wasn’t like they were going to go fight Gleeoks or anything- though Link was sure Tulin would beg to do so.
Maybe they would, but Link would be the one to determine that.
They spend about an hour at the nearest Skyview tower after, Tulin watching the Purah Pad over Link's shoulder as the Hylian points out all the destinations he wants to hit with Tulin- major hotspots for big monsters (no Gleeoks yet, to Tulin’s disappointment), historic landmarks and cool scenery he thinks Tulin would like. There’s no shortage to what he wants to show the young Rito, and there is no shortage to what Tulin wants to see.
So they head to the Leviathan Skeleton there in Hebra, first. Then through the snowfields, carefully avoiding the Gleeok there, to Mount Drena. Tulin meets the Great Fairy (after Link has a long, long talk with Mija about appropriate behavior with Tulin, which she respects) and gets some of his gear upgraded.
Then they go farther east. They check out Thyphlo Ruins, and that’s where they stop for the night, next to the Skyview tower. They set up camp, with Tulin helping clear out and scatter any monster bones they find so that no Stal-monsters pop up first, and then they start to settle the camp itself.
Tulin usually brings a hammock to sleep in, when they go on trips, and when Link returns from checking for any wandering monsters, Tulin is setting up the poles for that. Link takes a deep breath, hand resting on the Purah Pad as he walks over.
Once he’s gotten the boy’s attention with a couple of short, chirp-like whistles, his hands rise to talk. “So, before you set that up any further, I wanna show you something.” He signs slower than he normally would, knowing Tulin can understand him but not always keep up.
“What’s that? I thought we saw all there was to see here.” Tulin perches on one of the poles he has set up, a perfect T-shape for doing so. “Is it something you brought?” His head tilts, eyes shining with a youthful curiosity that Link has to adore. The boy still has that, Link kinda hopes he always will.
“Yes, I actually made something. It’s a gift for you. I’m sorry it took me so long to make it for you, I wasn’t sure what to make until a couple months ago."
Tulin perks up, hopping off the perch and landing right in front of Link, making the older step back a little. “Really? It better not be a new band, I told you I didn’t want a new one!"
“No no no,” Link signs rapidly, “It’s way cooler than the band. Step back and cover your eyes, I want you to be surprised.” When Tulin doesn’t do as Link asks, Link repeats the instructions twice before Tulin finally groans and walks away, wings over his head.
Link quickly lays out his gift next to Tulin’s setup, making sure it’s not too close to the fire and smoothing it out as best as he can.
When it’s ready, Link whistles again for Tulin’s attention, and he is flying over in an instant. He lands next to the laid out gift, and he seems confused for a few moments before he starts bouncing and flapping around, excited enough to start chirping.
It’s a new hammock, made in the same standard adult size that Tulin usually uses for long trips. Technically it’s far too big for Tulin now, not that the other one wasn't, but it should last long enough for Tulin to grow into. It’s all quilted and embroidered, a feat that took him almost every second of the months he spent on it.
It's all made of the same durable material that Link’s paraglider is made of, made to last and endure the elements- all the elements, even Death Mountain in Link’s experience.
The quilted part itself is an image. Tulin from the front, head bowed, hands cupped to hold his Secret Stone. The symbol on the Secret Stone is embroidered in white and blue, and the symbol is repeated on the backing as well. Green and blue swirls behind the young Rito’s image, like the shrines that have long since dissolved from Hyrule.
The border of the quilt is a rhythm of colors.
Yellow - You’re part of my family, and I am part of yours, as long as you will have me.
Orange - I aspire to keep up with your skill, your stories will be told with awe as you grow.
Dark Green - The Windlines favor you, as your family does, as I do. May they carry you far.
White - These Colors don’t define you though. Don’t be tied down by them, make your own. I know you can. I know you will.
Red - Above all, brother, come home to us, and come home safe.
Every Red patch bears a ruby, and every Yellow patch a piece of the Light Dragon’s spikes, all rounded like beads, all held there by thin but sturdy wiring sewn under the patch, and Link knows the magic in them will keep Tulin warm in any blizzard, any horrid winter. Link won't let him be stuck in a mess like that unprepared, not again.
Tulin looks like he might cry. Link isn’t sure if all he wants to convey to the boy gets across quite right, but Tulin seems to understand the gist of it, judging by how he outright tackles Link after a little bit of Tulin's excited hopping.
He starts rambling, and Link stumbles around a bit as he wraps his arms around the Rito who’s clinging to his torso like he’s a tree in a storm. Link can make out a vast appreciation of the gift, he hears an I love it somewhere in there, and if Link wasn't already grinning (he was), he wouldve then.
Eventually, Tulin untangles from the Hylian, and they set up the hammock together. Tulin is far too careful as he hops in, and Link laughs, signing that “you don’t need to be so careful Tulin, just don't purposefully rip it with your talons and it’ll be fine!”
And that night, Tulin sleeps soundly, deeper in his dreams than a Frok in the Depths. And Link finds himself proud. He thinks he made the right choice, as he himself drifts to sleep. He will not have such a peaceful sleep, he rarely does, but it is made slightly more gentle by the knowledge that Tulin will.

At first I thought that was Link with angry eyebrows.
Tumblr media
It’s Alan!
Tumblr media
Penn: Oh! Phew, it’s just you, partner. I should have known you’d turn this midday hour to your advantage and sneak up on me.”
I am the best at sneaking up on people! Especially when I come at them from the front.
Tumblr media
Juney: S-sealin’ good?
Tumblr media
Cleff: Please return after you have crabbed 10 bright-eyed crabs. Do that, and I’ll shell out something good!
Tumblr media
Sayge: Hee har ha! If you’re not a pigment of my imagination, you must be a customer!

If Juney, Cleff and Sayge met I think they’d be pun friends. Also I would adore one of those sand seal plushies.

All-Clucking Cucco
Linktober 2023 Day 17: Prophecy
The sprinkling rain had just begun to let up as Spot’s hooves clopped along the northern trail to South Akkala Stable. Frogs splashed into muddy puddles, croaking in delight as their skin absorbed the sky’s waters. Link pushed back his hood, feeling the weight of gathered water slide down his back. That water-proofing layer Sayge added to his Hylian hood was worth every rupee.
He pulled on the reins, clicking his tongue to bid Spot to slow. The horse obliged, settling into a walking gait as they rounded the bend and ascended a small slope to the stable. All the usual comforts of the stable system greeted him: a warm smile and a friendly wave, the scent of meat roasting in a cooking pot, a traveling musician filling the air with pleasant melodies, and the promise of a good night’s rest in a comfortable bed. It would be another full day of travel before he reached Terry Town. While he could wait and save his rupees for a stay in Kapson’s inn, he could also take a detour north to the Ancient Tech Lab to pick up that Travel Medallion.
While he was still making up his mind about which way to go next, a familiar voice called out to him.
“Hey, partner!”
Link pulled back again on the reins, bidding Spot to stop. “Penn?”
The Rito journalist jogged up to him. His ruffled feathers and flight goggles still over his eyes told Link that Penn had also just arrived. “I should have known you’d come here too, with all the rumors going about.”
Link raised a brow but said nothing. He’d not exactly been hanging out in populous places as of late. He’d taken a rather circuitous trip through the foothills of Eldin on his way back from the Great Korok Forest. That was hard enough to enter on its own, given the time he had to spend in the Depths just to get to it. And then there was that whole matter of the spooky malice hands and the creepy demon thing with a sword that tried to kill him, not to mention the whole speech about still not having his sword. He hardly needed a lecture from a tree. To say that Link hadn’t heard any rumors would be the understatement of the century. He wasn’t sure he’d even spoken to another person in over a week.
His silence must have conveyed enough, as Penn soon explained. “There’s been a very alarming prophecy.”
Now, that was interesting. He’d heard of prophecies before. One in particular sent all of Hyrule into a panic over a century ago. If this was anything of the same sort, he’d better take notice. “What sort of prophecy?”
“They say that-“ Penn looked around him, though Link wasn’t quite sure for whom. The Rito lowered his voice and leaned closer. “-that the hero will die.”
Link straightened up in his saddle. So, some oracle is out here predicting his death? They’d better get in line. “That’s pretty vague. Everyone dies eventually, even heroes.”
Penn shook his head vigorously. “No, you don’t understand! The prophecy is that the hero will die in a fight with his greatest adversary!”
Greatest adversary? Shit, who was his greatest adversary? That mummy underneath the castle would probably count as that. He couldn’t really think of anyone else who fit such a description. If this thing was predicting that he’d die in a battle with that mummy, Link might be tempted to lend some credence to it. But, then again, the first prophecy hadn’t proven itself exactly watertight either. “And…people believe it?”
“They do!” Penn exclaimed. “The cucco hasn’t been wrong about anything yet! Come on, I’ll prove it!”
Well, this should be good. Link hopped off his horse. He led Spot by the reins to the stablemaster, who gladly accepted care of the animal after an exchange of rupees.
“Dmitri, this is my partner. We’re investigating a story on the All-Clucking Cucco.” Penn gestured toward Link, who the stablemaster acknowledged with a nod. “Tell him what you told me about the prophecy you received!”
Dmitri smoothed out his mustache (if such a split caterpillar could be rightfully called one), thinking. “Which one?”
“Which-? Any of them will do.” Penn answered. “Haven’t they all come true?”
“Sure have.” The stablemaster confirmed. “The first one was pretty basic. Cucco said it was going to rain that night. And it poured!”
Penn gestured excitedly to Link, who fought to keep from rolling his eyes. Anyone can predict the rain. This was Akkala. It always rains here!
The stablemaster frowned. “Then it said we’d be haunted by the crowing of a lonely spirit. And sure enough, every night since, a lonesome echo has haunted our pasture out back. Awful sound. We’re hoping the cucco soon predicts that it will stop.”
A lonesome spirit? Now, that felt more likely. He’d known Koroks to play such tricks on people. He’d have to investigate for himself later. It was probably nothing more than a repeat of that poor girl who practiced her singing in the bottom of that well.
“And what else?” Penn asked, scribbling notes. When did he get out the notepad?
“Oh, that.” Dmitri shrugged. “It wasn’t about me, so I didn’t pay it any mind. It said the hero would soon fall to the sword of his greatest adversary, whatever that means.”
Penn snapped his notebook shut. “Yes! Exactly! Thank you so much! Do you know anyone else who has gotten their fortune told?”
“Sure.” Dmitri pointed to a group of travelers eating supper in the corner of the stable. “Just about everyone here has had their fortunes told or are waiting to ask for a fortune themselves. That one in the mushroom hat won’t shut up about his.”
Link gave the stablemaster a nod of thanks, letting himself be led by Penn over to the group of travelers. Maybe he could sneak a bowl of meat and mushroom stew while he was here…
“Excuse me, sir!” Penn pushed his way into the group, sitting on the bench between a young man in a CeCe original and a middle-aged woman who looked like she wouldn’t touch fashion to save her life. “Have you spoken to the All-Clucking Cucco?”
The man’s eyes lit up in excitement. “Have I! You wouldn’t believe the incredible things that bird said to me. Firstly, it said: ‘Thou wilt find a treasure on an island to the northeast!’ Or, something like that. I can’t recall the exact words. But that was the gist of it. Treasure, northeast island. I’m not sure which island it was referring to, but I’m very sure that such a treasure exists!”
Penn nodded enthusiastically. “And what makes you so certain, if I might ask?”
“Well, my sister was up this way just the other week. She visited the cucco and had her fortune told. It told her she’d meet a handsome stranger on the road who would change her life.” He grinned broadly. “And she did! On her way from Terry Town, she met Granteson! He told her about some fairly cheap land up here in Akkala and the new dream home project that Hudson started, so she bought a plot and is encouraging her family to join her!”
Penn scribbled down more notes, nodding along. “Did you receive any other prophecies?”
“Oh, yeah.” The man frowned, stirring his stew with a spoon. “They said something troubling about the hero getting chopped to pieces by his greatest adversary.”
Chopped to pieces?! That was a little excessive. First, it was defeat, then it was fall to the sword, and now it’s chopped to pieces? That’s not very nice of a bird to say.
Penn shuddered, obviously equally perturbed by the prophecy. “Er, thank you. What’s your name? I’d like to credit you in this article I’m writing on the subject.”
“Falmak.” The man replied. “That’s with a K, not a C. I know it’s not the usual spelling.” Far be it from Link to know what was and was not the usual spelling of any name in Hyrule. “If you’re doing a report on the All-Clucking Cucco, you could go up with Lonni!” He suggested, gesturing to the woman beside him.
Her eyes widened in surprise at the attention, her features reddening slightly. “Oh, um, yes. I was planning to go up after dinner to have the cucco, um, tell my fortune.” She took a quick sip of ale, not meeting their gaze.
“Wonderful!” Penn jumped up from the bench. In the flurry of feathers, Link grabbed a bowl of stew, hiding it behind his back. “What are you going to ask?”
The woman blushed. “Well… I’m not quite sure yet. I thought maybe I’d ask it about my true love.”
Aw, that was sweet. Good for her, at her age, for still believing she’d meet her true love. He hoped she would, cucco or no cucco.
“An excellent idea! We’ll meet you at the bottom of the hill, then!” Penn decided. He led Link out of the stable, his steps light and excited. “You see it, don’t you? The predictions have all come true! If word of the hero’s imminent death reaches the people of Hyrule, they’ll panic! We have to get to the bottom of this and fast. Who knows what kind of chaos will unfold if-! Link, where did you get that stew?”
Link drained the last sip, his cheeks full as a squirrel. He swallowed quickly and tossed the bowl into the bushes. “What stew?”
True to her word, the woman soon emerged from the stable. She froze upon seeing Link and Penn waiting for her, her hands balling into nervous fists. “Ha, well, here we go, I suppose.”
The two reporters followed her up the hill. Fallen leaves of yellow and red littered the path, dyed a more vibrant hue by the fast approach of sunset. Whatever they intended to do about this bothersome bird, they’d have to do it quickly. Link wanted to get a full seven hours of sleep for once.
When they approached the tallest tree on the slope, on which an unassuming (and rather confused) cucco sat on a stump beneath it, Lonni stopped. They waited in silence.
And waited.
And waited.
“Um, Ms. Lonni?” Penn asked. “Aren’t you going to say something?”
“O-oh! Oh. Yes. Well, um…” She stuttered, wringing her hands. “It’s just that, asking whether, or when, or if, I’ll meet my true love… it's a bit overwhelming, you know?” She fanned herself with one hand, her face rather reddened. “I mean, what if the cucco says I don’t have one? Wow, wouldn’t that be completely and totally devastating? Or what if it says that I wasted my youth and my true love is already in an unhappy marriage with someone who never loved him the way I should have? Or even worse, what if it says I’ll meet my true love tomorrow?!” She shook her head. “I can’t do it. You boys go on ahead and talk to it first.” She stepped away from the cucco, muttering to herself about being ”the biggest coward in all of Hyrule.”
Penn rubbed the back of his neck. “Yeesh. That’s a little more than I bargained for when I came up here.” He cleared his throat. “Well, partner, let’s see what this clairvoyant cucco has to say about our futures!” Penn flapped his wings, fluttering up to the cucco. He made some noises in his throat, something between a squawk and a coo, trying several different pitches and lengths.
The cucco responded with a handful of clucks of its own. Penn set his hands on his hips with a huff. “Should’ve guessed. Cuccos aren’t that bright.”
“What did it say?” Link asked. While he’d heard that Rito had a special language that they shared with the birds of Hyrule, he seldom got to hear it spoken. The Rito spoke only Modern Hyrulean when he was around.
Penn shook his head. “That’s just it. It’s what the thing didn’t say, which was anything coherent. I asked it for my fortune, and the clucker only said, ‘Worms! Corn! Coop!’ Which is about what one might expect from a cucco. That’s all they ever think about.”
Link wondered if “clucker” was perhaps Rito slang for a Hylian word with a similar sound.
“Wait!” The cucco suddenly spoke, in perfect Hyrulean, flapping its wings. “My apologies! Thy fortune! Yes! Thy fortune!”
Penn crossed his arms, glaring at the bird. “Go on, then. What’s my fortune?”
The cucco squawked. “Thou art a traveler of many miles and skies! Thou hast gone from thy homeland, seeking another. But that is not all thou seekest, oh writer of many words!”
Link narrowed his eyes. The way this bird held itself didn’t seem quite right. Never mind that cuccos didn’t typically speak. Something about this poultry was off.
“Yes, I see it! Thy fortune is intertwined with that of this man here.” The cucco continued. “Thou art seeking Princess Zelda.”
Both Link and Penn started, taken aback by a semi-accurate prediction.
The cucco clucked in delight. “Thine stories will tell of a great battle! From thine pen will the world hear of the hero’s demise at the hands of his greatest adversary!”
Again with this nonsense? A twist of worry tightened in his gut. If this cucco had been right about everything so far, and again repeated tales of his doom to his face, what if…what if it was true?
“Who?” Penn asked, eagerly writing down all of the cucco’s words. “Who is the hero’s greatest adversary?!”
“We are!” The cucco declared, clucking in triumph. “The Yiga Clan! Attack!”
A poof of red smoke filled the air. Link coughed, waving it away with his hand, his vision obscured. The smoke and setting sun dyed the whole air deep red.
From the smoke, a blade sliced across his field of vision. Link barely saw it, dodging out of the way enough that it only nicked his arm rather than taking his head clean off. He drew his weapon, a Lizal Reaper, and darted away from the smoke.
The cliffs overlooking the stable soon greeted him, a steep drop down into the pasture below. He pivoted on his heel. Three Yiga footsoldiers rushed out of the smoke, their curved blades glinting in the red sun. As the first reared back to swing, Link felt his heart rate slow. He let out a breath.
His feet launched his body up, dodging the strikes of the three soldiers as he leapt over them. He swung his weapon, striking each with disarming blows to their sword arms. By the time he landed on the other side, the Yiga were stumbling, howling out in pain.
Two of the Yiga immediately retreated, disappearing in a burst of magic paper. The final lurched forward, clutching the wound in his shoulder. “You! You! You wretch!” He spat. “You may have bested us this day, but mark my words! Our prophecies always come true! You’ll die by our blades, hero!”
With a final burst of paper, the Yiga disappeared. Link sheathed his weapon.
A squawking cough drew Link’s attention back to the tree. Penn waved away the last of the smoke with his massive wing. “Ack, gross! Did they make those things out of sulfur? Disgusting. I’ll never get the smell out of my feathers.” He shook himself, his feathers puffing up and laying back flat again. “Are you okay, Link?”
Link nodded.
Penn squawked in surprise. “Partner! You’re bleeding!”
Was he? Link looked down at his right arm. A new gash seeped above where his Zonai arm met Hylian flesh. Huh. It didn’t hurt. It was probably just superficial. He shrugged.
Penn rushed over, clucking with worry. “Oh my Goddess, I am so sorry! I had no idea this story would be so dangerous! To think that our All-Clucking Cucco was a Yiga this whole time! And what’s odder, that they seemed to have you mixed up with the legendary swordsman!”
Link bit his tongue. “Yeah. Weird.”
Penn shook his head. “Come on. I’ll pay for your lodgings and make sure that cut is taken care of. What a story this will be!”
Link nodded, following along after Penn. He flexed his arm, watching curiously as Hylian blood trickled down a Zonai arm. It should hurt. He thought back to other instances where the Zonai arm had gotten injured. He couldn’t recall ever feeling pain there. All his senses were dulled on that hand, though he had thus far been attributing it to the fur.
He stole a glance back at the stump as Penn prattled on about the newest article. Every other prophecy had come true, they said. He could easily write it off as a mere sleight of hand, saying what was obviously true anyway. Of course, it would rain. Anyone could predict that a traveler along this route to Terry Town would meet Granteson. Maybe the Yiga really had learned about an island that housed treasure. If that weren’t the case, if they actually had some credence to their predictions…
Link shook the thoughts from his head. He had his own destiny to write. He sure as hell wouldn’t let a fake cucco decide his fate.

Enforcing Our Company’s Back-To-Office Policy Has Made Me Drunk Off A Power You Couldn’t Possibly Comprehend
Tumblr media
Our company’s back-to-the-office policy strives to promote a healthy balance between remote work and in-office collaboration. By having team members return to the office, we can foster a sense of connection, strengthen our company culture, and, most importantly, make an HR middle manager like me drunker on power than you would ever believe.
Truly, my power high is indescribable. The Germans don’t have a word for how intoxicating it is to command people to spend more time in the physical presence of coworkers who could care less if they lived or died. The Romans’ Bacchus himself could never have dreamed of the wild orgy of elation I get to experience when I report to a team leader that their direct report didn’t arrive last Thursday as they said they would. And the Hindus never conceived of a caste high enough for those of us who get to remind their colleagues to fill out the shared Outlook calendar to schedule a workspace for their days in the office. Now I Am Become Death.
As a reminder, our company believes in-person attendance is a powerful way to build unity and cohesion, but that power dwarfs in comparison to what I feel when enforcing it. Sending out back-to-office mass emails fill me with an Atlas-like resolve. Forcefully weaning these babies’ off of their precious “work-life balance” makes me think of Hercules’ 12 labors as child’s play. And had I been able to call their personal cell phones to issue them a verbal warning for not being in the office enough, Genghis Khan and his Mongol Horde would have stopped dead in their tracks. King Kong Ain't Got Shit On Me.
Though my resolve is unrelenting, that’s not to say I won’t occasionally vary my approach. I’ll surprise someone with a “I hate to be the bad guy...” or “You know, if it were up to me...” when reminding them they have to spend two hours a day commuting if they want to keep their health insurance. But all this empathy is nothing but a performative sham. The truth is, if it WAS up to me, you’d all be chained to galley oars like Ben Hurr, where your rowing could power the vending machines in the break rooms that no one has used since the last Bush administration. I Am The Captain Now.
Some call me a zealot, but how could I not be with a responsibility this important? I’m charged with ensuring the company crams as many people as possible into our big, dumb open floor plan so they can all sit on Zoom calls with each other all day while our Wifi bandwidth totally tanks from it. Upper management charged me with the divine purpose of justifying the company’s inordinate, shortsighted investments into the office’s real estate and I have accepted that calling with an unbridled enthusiasm. I Am A Golden God.
There are no exceptions to the policy, as there are none with my power. You have a funeral to attend during one of your scheduled back-to-office days? Hey, why don’t you “Zoom in” to the service to pay your respects? What’s wrong - I thought you said being remote was JUST AS PRODUCTIVE as being in person? Allow me to remind you that your offer sheet said you were required to come to the office three days a week as terms of your employment and said nothing about you being able to adequately mourn for your mother. That’s right: Say My Name. (In case you forgot, it’s “Hayley” or “Sayge” or “Zacc” or something stupid because the boomers in charge outsourced this work to someone who was born shortly after 9/11).
Anyway, if you have any questions at all about this transition, please do not hesitate to reach out! But as a reminder I do not work Mondays, Wednesday, Thursdays, or Fridays.

Im really enjoying tears of the kingdom so far. I'm at the first temple now and holy fuck was it a pain in the ass to get to.
I keep forgetting what abilities I have available to me tho which was not a problem I ever had with botw lol. Fully forgot I could make my own weapons for most of the day. I keep wishing I could use revalis gale for things when I could be using ascend (tho getting to the current temple helped a lot)
My biggest complaint is the UI for switching abilities. The UI in botw was much easier to navigate on the fly for me. I keep choosing the completely wrong thing cuz im trying to just quickly scroll through them which I can't do lol.
I appreciate that the landscape of hyrule itself is a bit different but still the same enough that I can figure out where I am without the map. I do miss all the dead guardians tho. They were a pretty big landmark that I paid a lot of attention to cuz....I had to make sure they weren't going to wake up and start shooting at me. And I get a little turned around without them and the sheikah shrines. I get why they DIDNT just stick the new shrines in the same places as the sheikah ones but the spaces where they used to be look so weird and empty now. Especially the one in Rito village.
Also!!! So many new puzzles!!! That was one of my favorite things in botw and I was worried they either wouldn't include them or would just have more of the same but theres so many good ones. I like the ones where you help put up the Hudson construction signs a lot. I like that they kept some of the korok puzzles the same. The helping traveling koroks find their friends is kind of annoying tho lol. Most of them have been going the way I need to go anyway but one was super far out so I marked it for later.
They keep mentioning the chief of the sheikah tribe but not saying who it is and im pretty sure its paya. Like I dont know that for a fact but if its not impa and its not purah or robbie then its gotta be paya right?
Also also also another thing I'm enjoying is seeing all the kids again. All of these children have almost surpassed link in height and its hitting close to home lmao. I'm excited to go to kakoriko and see Koko and her sister again.
The game feels a little more fast paced than botw. Which in some ways is good cuz I wanna figure out what's going on with zelda but botw just felt very chill. Far less plotty stuff going on in botw. Like im glad it's not the same cuz it would be very boring otherwise and also kinda pointless but since I was literally just playing botw the night before I got totk all the changes to hyrule feel SO sudden and its weird and a little jarring. Also its weird talking to npcs who I remember from botw cuz none of them remember link at all if they werent significant to the plot in anyway.
Also its super weird that no one in hateno besides symin knows who link is. Like. Excuse me I have a house right on the other side of that bridge behind the cube houses I am NOT a tourist, thank you. I need more backstory there. Like zeldas been here and link has supposedly been with her a lot. Everyone in the village knows zelda. But none of them recognize link. "Our village used to be known for its vegetables" I KNOW. I used to purchase them from you ALL THE TIME.
*goes into the dye shop* "ohhh a new customer" SAYGE IVE BEEN HERE SO MANY TIMES. YOU HAVE DYED SO MANY ITEMS OF CLOTHING FOR ME.
"I've never seen you around here before" I WAS HERE LAST WEEK

right okay so like I said before I realised yall don't really know me so ima do some baaaaaasic intro stuff that should probably be in thw about admin section but it's not so here we go;
I'm Sayge, I use he/him it/its pronouns n I'm a trans dude. I'm English, living in England, hence why timezones and replies are all wonky! I'm a psychology graduate from university, and currently unemployed so I have a lot of free time on my hands.
I promise, I'm not as scary as I seem. You break a few walls and I'm all here for you all day every day I've just been real hurt and my walls have become thicker lately especially.
Ima do a read more here bc this could be longer than I mean it to be shshs
Writing wise I've been rping for well over a decade, since i was 10, I'm now 24 [I'm a libra]. I'm not interested in drama I don't care for it you do you I do me and I'd we don't vibe then that's okay and valid on all ends.
If you need something tagged under something specific so your blacklist works, I will 100% do my best to do that. I tag nsfw stuff and do a read more, I tag angst and I tag obvious neg and tw things. If there are specifics you do not tell me or have somewhere on your blog I can find em easily then I won't do them because I won't see them. It's nothing personal I promise.
I've ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, anxiety and depression [which may well all be under an undiagnosed autism but we just don't know]. Smaller font style is actually easier for me to read?? And the dialogue being in a different colour helps too!!
Favourite colour is purple, favourite animal is a red panda, favourite season is winter, favourite food is meat. Favourite rp type is,,, all of them. Apart from like, full out torture, and fight scenes I can write fight scenes by myself but not with others jdjdjd idk why its hard Okay 😅 I use tone tags in text or dms bc tones are hard.

Since I was done in the chasm, I just warped to Hateno Village and started talking to everyone looking for Uma for the garden I could use. Sayge, the dye shop owner had a quest for me. He wanted to get inspiration in making his own patterns, and wanted to see a visual of a Chuchu, a regular one. Side Quests – Photographing a Chuchu. That should be easy enough, I just need to find one.

Day 48: Fashion Drama
I'm almost at Hateno with my neat little korok cart… when a chuchu sets the cart on fire and my wheels roll away. I carry the korok the rest of the way and whistle for Pumpkin to follow.
I'm starting to think I should keep a towing harness on him always, in case of meeting koroks.
I stop at Addison's sign to give the guy a hand. Then we finally head into town mid-afternoon.
Tumblr media
There's a kid guarding the gate - Teebo. His dad's at Lookout Landing, apparently.
Nack is in the Pumpkin patch. He says people used to come here for the vegetables, but now they come for Cece's fashion. That's what Claree mentioned in Kakariko - her sister was coming here to study fashion. I wonder if she's made it?
Everyone in town's wearing these mushroom hats. Ivee at the general store says they're Cece fashion, and points me at the clothing store across the way. There's a crowd of people, all with mushroom hats. They're waiting for tickets to go into a shop? Baffling.
It looks like Cece's sister Sophie is running the shop. Or… not a shop. I can just look at the things? More like an exhibition. That explains the tickets.
Cece is certainly bold. She's made an extraordinary hat.
Tumblr media
A man bursts in - Mayor Reede. The sculptures are… bothering the plants? Even his wife Clavia thinks some people must like the art. The argument is avant-garde vs quaint. Cece wants to run for mayor to see which is more popular. I can't help but feel like there are bigger problems - but you can't even see Hyrule Castle from here. Those troubles must seem distant.
I tell Cece I support her - no point making enemies - and she asks me to give mushrooms to Reede's supporters. Anyone who isn't wearing a mushroom hat, basically. But not Reede's family, children, travellers or researchers. That leaves eight people. Fine.
I should check with Reede to see if he wants me to do anything to drum up support for him, too.
Sophie says Cece has been sneaking off in the middle of the night. She asks me to tail her and find out why. Intriguing.
There's a guy called Manny who's infatuated with Ivee. Didn't he used to be infatuated with the woman who worked at the inn? I think she's married now...
He wants to know what Ivee likes - I ask her, and she says frogs. 100 frogs. He'd like help gathering them, and asks me to get ten hot-footed frogs. Sure, if I come back this way one day and happen to have ten frogs, he's welcome to them. He needs to learn that this is not how you get girls to love you, though.
In the dye shop, Sayge, Senna and their son Sefaro. Sayge gives me some Cece brand fabric I might like to use for my paraglider.
Uma, who tends the fields out by the school (there's a school?) accepts a mushroom and says she just wants the young people to stick around.
Cece leaves the shop at 10pm - I almost miss her sneaking out. She heads to a nearby silo - and secretly indulges in eating vegetables!
Tumblr media
Reede will enjoy this, if he finds out.

𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞
February 28th, 2021 — AIRANG After midnight. The streets of Hearts Territory. @passcridae
She was haunted by the silhouette of his back. He had turned on his heels and moved his face away from her in the last months more than he had done it for the past centuries, and she couldn't bear it anymore. His face, his handsome face was everywhere, and that fucking grin seemed to materialized and fade in a heartbeat.
And again, she saw his hair falling down his shoulders, Joui's image in the middle of the street of his own territory as if waiting for her to come, but there was no waiting. Joui waited no more. She shook that thought off and transformed it into what she wanted, she coming to him. Sayge grabbed his shoulder and turned him to face her. Her grip was so hard that would leave a red mark on anyone's skin, not because of anger but longing.
She looked into his expression, the corners of his mouth pulled up in a smile, and Sayge felt give in. Her painted lips parted as to speak, but no word came out. She could only mirror his smile for a moment, but this slowly disappeared. Joui's smiled seemed engraved, with no warmth behind it, off. She leaned in, her face so close no space was left for doubt. She clutched his shoulder, her fingertips lost all color, she couldn't let him turn away from her again, and she would not let go. "Is your smile because you are as happy to see me as I am to have found you again."
