so there's this post that talks about how people call jason's curved knife a kris but it's not a kris 'cuz why would he have a southeast asian knife? and op's tags say if you're gonna give him an 'exotic' weapon at least make him malay or something. a later reblog adds a filipino kris as an example, and then i was like, 'omg, jason in a barong tho.' SO i tried designing a bat-barong inspired by his hood logo, for a filipino jason haha. and now here we are! 😊✨️🇵🇭

Hello!! It's been a while since the last time I posted something... I was busy with work but I also got busy with... another project! One Piece related!

There's a big One Piece FC in my city and for the 1000th chapter they decided to host an offline event. I was excited about meeting other people who share the same love for this manga, I wanted to bring something so I ended up making a whole costume of Chopper (Wano) haha.

It was a really fun experience! For a moment I felt like we all knew each other??? The other cosplayers were lovely, Zoro a real bro looking out for me most of the time, Luffy was a HUGE ray of sunshine and Sanji, he,.. he was very Sanji, lol, got bullied by everyone (with love) kshksksksk

i had a very embarrassing meltdown earlier today while cleaning the house but then i went out alone to buy groceries and it was really cold and windy and i hadn’t taken a jacket so going through the motions of buying stuff calmed me down and then i got home and helped my cousin make lunch and then i portioned out the meat for the meals of the week to store in the freezer which settled me even more. i’m fine now other than feeling a little sad i guess

i'm gonna have a lil rant of my own for a sec. pardon me if it's not super coherent; i'm just saying what's coming to my head right now, based on thoughts i've been harboring for a while now:

as a content creator myself, i am begging you--literally begging you!!--to reblog the pieces of art & writing you enjoy.

liking is fine & dandy, & likes are of course appreciated, but they serve little practical purpose beyond "hey i saw this."

reblogging takes just one extra click (& not even that if you have the right web extension or are on mobile), & it spreads that content you enjoy so others can see it! so creators can get more engagement!

(& of course we're always thrilled to see nice comments in the tags & replies; those are delightful & are guaranteed to make a content creator's day!!)

i'm not even talking specifically to the communities i'm a part of; i'm talking to this webbed site as a whole:
