I just fell down a rabbit hole about (legal) body disposal and part of me is so anxious wishing I could tell the FBI agent monitoring my internet searches that I’m just morbidly curious and I’m not planning on dying anytime soon (or planning anything ELSE, for that matter)
#I swear I’m innocent#I just didn’t know there were multiple types of cremation#and then I got curious about other legal burial/body disposal methods#and then I learned that you can have your ashes basically made into a starter reef in the ocean????#THERE HAVE BEEN SO MANY ADVANCEMENTS IN BODY DISPOSAL AND PREP GUYS ITS KINDA INSANE#YOU CAN MAKE YOUR BODY INTO SOIL!! which seems like it would be easy but apparently it’s a rather new advancement!!#and I mean like proper soil not just like. decomposed and mushed up remains I mean like Actual Human Compost#hi I’ve always been interested in morbid topics I swear#I’m not insane I just love the art of the funeral and the way we honor the dead#I always thought I wanted to donate my body to the army to have them drop my remains out of a plane#but uh… becoming part of the coral reef and helping sustain the reefs is definitely a more appealing option now#and like I always knew you could do the become a tree thing but there’s more options for that too!!#also there’s multiple ways to cremate and two of the three that I’ve researched don’t use an incinerator!!#they use a mix of water and highly alkaline chemicals?? which is so cool?? I may actually need Pokémon Sleep. These are adorable
#I mean I only really got UNITE for the “Pokémon wearing clothes” stuff#I wouldn’t be surprised if Quaquaval and Meowscarada sleeping in adorable ways inc standing up and lying down tempted me to get Sleep#I’m curious to see how they’d handle Ceruledge#Armarouge has the same sleeping animation as Quaquaval in SV but Ceruledge sleeps standing up#honestly even more interested to see how they’d handle the Future Paradox Pokémon#while I think most have really good sleeping animations anyway I do kinda wish the Neo Swords would rest#I know it’s what the Swords of Justice do anyway so it makes a lot of sense they’d sleep standing up but still#quaquaval#meowscarada#you may notice I specifically list Quaquaval before Meowscarada and there are a few reasons I do this#the main one is just that I chose Quaquaval in Scarlet and Meowscarada in Violet#(yeah the other two aren’t really reasons as to why I do it just additional justification)#also I associate Falcon with Quaquaval and think it’s a cooler alternative for the equally-likely Blaziken as a potential starter for him#while deciding that if Robert didn’t somehow choose Delphox (I guess if the option isn’t available) he’d have a Meowscarada#and then also I have a Quaxly plush and a Sprigatito plush and I got the Spriggie plush about half a year after I got the Quax plush#(here’s me using the nicknames I gave to my in-game starters for my plushies. I also call my Bulbasaur plushie Bulbie)#pokémon sleep#pokémon#anyway clever that Sleep uses their SV sleeping animations for the 1 star sleeping animations#I’ve admittedly only checked these two and in Quaquaval’s case it was an accident bc I was trying to find its HOME image#also Quaquaval being Fighting and Meowscarada being Dark does that mean Sleep only believes in one type per Pokémon#I’ll be honest I think the Alola and Hisui trios are the only ones I would’ve chosen their secondary types for (def Hisui)

grit gate is the worst story dungeon i think
#red rock gets a pass for being an optional starter quest#rusted arch is similarly optional but a nice combination of brief+worthwhile for true kin#grit gate is just huge easy & bland. its comparable to the tomb of the eaters in size but with no real implications following from that#which is extra weird given the mandatory section of the dungeon is only 5 floors#just a lotta filler to it i guess. at least it can be a good spot for finding gear#also crazy enemy density. you're not gonna get killed unless you're there super early but it's like the fucking thunderdome down there#(omitting story dungeons i think are cool [everything post- grit gate] from this discussion)#caves of qud#bones.txt

What if rdr but in tlou universe... i'm thinking so many thoughts ok ..... like maybe dutch and Hosea started doing crimes and scams together a year or so before the outbreak then when it happened they decided to stick together and Arthur lived with his dad until the outbreak and Lyle just immediately died leaving 12 year old Arthur to fend for himself then at 13, Dutch and Hosea found him.
Then the rest of the gang join basically the same as in game and they form a little community kinda like Jackson just surviving, they have big trucks and stuff when moving as a group but they mostly use horses when going out in small groups so all the gang still have their horses !!
The gang makes a little makeshift town to live in except one day infected get in and they have to flee and Jenny, Mac and Davey die and Sean is split up. + boudicea dies rip.
They meet Sadie when her house was raided by O'Driscolls and all the commotion led in infected killing Jake. When she meets them she tries to kill them thinking they're O'Driscolls but things settle things once they explain they're just looking for resources and Sadie joins them.
This is all the same time period as tlou1 so 20yrs after outbreak which matches pretty perfectly since rdr2 is set around 20yrs since forming of gang lol
