#izuna hated the Senju and feared them

I am terrified to put my two cents in for Tobirama Senju and Izuna Uchiha on this hell site. Mainly because 1, people are very vocal about their hate and dislike for Tobirama. 2, I tried to have a little look at character analysis for these two and found mostly hate for them.
But this is what I'm analysising them on, both Tobirama and Izuna, their trauma regarding war and their enemy and what caused it and how they reacted. And contrasting them with their brothers, who are humanisated the enemy when they were children.
I'm going to start with Izuna, from what I have gathered through Naruto Wikipedia and manga panels as well as other fan speculation, is that he was also a middle child and had been regarded as a spare to Madara who was the heir. Izuna's trauma comes from war, remembering vividly because of the Sharingan, and the child hunts. He is an angry character, wanting the destruction of all Senju on his death bed and to be avenged, after all, you're dying by a Senju's sword and your siblings killed by Senju. And he was taught to hate them but also that teaching was proved by the skirmishes and the fallout of those skirmishes.
Izuna hasn't had a humanisation of the enemy like Madara had. He knew what they were like through teachings and the battlefield. Madara was taught the same until he met Hashirama and met face to face with someone with the same pains. This is a time where there is no Internet to spread word about different operations within clans, there is no peace to talk freely with eachother, you only have your clan to teach you about the enemy, which they teach you to hate and not think about who they are or why the fight, just to kill and hate the enemy.
I truly believe, that the Izuna and Tobirama's fight was reversed, that Izuna would have turned out to be similar to him.
Here's the reason through my examples of Tobirama. He was the middle child, he was the spare to the heir, his trauma of the war came from fighting and the child hunting and his younger siblings' death. They both have the same traumas and they reacted in a similar way.
Tobirama and Izuna trained hard to kill the enemy, using new techniques to kill the other. They viewed the other as the enemy, their siblings dying by the other clan, their only reference to the other clan is through their clan's teachings and through skirmishes.
Izuna's last breath was to kill the Senju, not to make peace with them, Izuna hated and feared the Senju. He hasn't seen them as humans but other. Dehumanisation of the enemy is a common tactic in real life, especially during war and within the army/military. This is done in these clans to kill others.
Izuna and Tobirama have these ideas due to their clans and due to the war. Hashirama and Madara don't have this to an extent, seeing as they in the end agree to peace due to Madara knowing Hashirama is human and willing to disembowl himself. Tobirama and Izuna never had this for each other.
So, if Izuna were to have swapped positions with Tobirama, there would be a difference within the Leaf. Uchiha's will still be around, Izuna wouldn't want people to marry out of the clan like Tobirama would have done, the Senju would be under surveillance instead. The Senju would properly still be around but they would be restricted. Izuna most likely would have taught others to hate the Senju as well.
What I am saying is that these two characters are messy. They are human. They have trauma as soldiers, and later, they are terrible historical figures. As characters, they are nuanced as they have to deal with living with the enemy since childhood. They can never truly trust them due to fighting them for so long and what they have been taught.
Tobirama, as Hokage, built up the village with plans and legislation and treaties. But his trauma as a child soldier, like Izuna, inhibits him from teaching without prejudice. Am I saying he's a shit man because of it? Yes. But he and Izuna would not simply hug the taught enemy like a brother. Madara and Hashirama could due to meeting and becoming friends when they were younger and out of skirmishes.
What I'm saying is that Tobirama and Izuna are shaped by their trauma. They reacted to that trauma with the sword, and they were taught to be soldiers, not men. These two were used to the chaos of war, and they died in it, do I think they could have been rehabilitated? Yes, though it would be slow.
But they didn't have that. Izuna died hating and cursing the Senju. Tobirama died to save a child from the Uchiha Clan.
Does Tobirama teaching an Uchiha change anything? I am unsure, but it shows growth from his trauma. Would Izuna do the same if he survived instead of Tobirama? I am unsure, possibly due to understanding that they are humans.
As historical figures within Naruto, if roles were swapped, I think it would play in a similar manner. Just with a Senju massacre and possibly also the Uchiha as well, but I'm uncertain. These two, in my opinion, are parallels of each other.
If Tobirama isolated the Uchiha from the Leaf, I truly believe Izuna would have isolated the Senju from the Leaf as well.

Naruto is my Roman Empire and I’ve been reading MadaTobi fanfics so these r my Founders Thoughts that nobody asked for:
- Tobirama had a crush on Madara and it PISSED HIM OFF like they def had hate sex at one point LMAO
- they literally worked together ur rlly gonna tell me they didn’t have SOME moments of civility btwn them?? (lowkey that’s wild tho having to see ur brother’s murderer everyday at work-I like Tobi but I’m just sayin)
I WANT A WORKPLACE SITCOM WITH THE FOUNDERS SJSKKSKS:
- Tobi doing experiments and scaring the villagers
- Tobi teaming up with Madara to make Hashi do work
- Hashi making flowers w/government documents
- Mito sipping tea while encouraging Tobi to revive the dead
- everyone in the Tower side eying the sexual tension btwn Madara and Tobi and them never denying they’ve fucked before
- Toka cackling in the background
- Hikaku spraying water at Madara like a cat every time he throws a temper tantrum
- Kagami popping in to make sure his clan head doesn’t kill his teacher PERFECT SITCOM MATERIAL
- totally personal preference: Naruto should’ve had more BLOOD AND GORE. I wanna see the grittiness and horror the shinobi world actually is and how revolutionary Naruto as a character is by choosing peace over violence. The only time we get that is Obito vs Kiri nin, Uchiha Massacre, Wave Arc, Orochimaru…before it turns into DBZ fights
I’ve said this before: Sasuke was in a seinen Naruto was in a shounen
- the warring states is literally the perfect place for exhibiting the horrors of war and humanity. Bloodline thieves, child hunting squads, GIVE. IT. TO. ME. Madara and Hashirama experiencing all of this and wanting PEACE FOR THEIR YOUNGER BROTHERS UGHHH ROBBERY‼️‼️
SORRY TW IMPLIED SA !!:
I HC that bloodline thieves is prob why Madara wears gloves….being a YOUNG (he’s been on the battlefield since he was 8??) powerful, prodigy and future clan head of a famous kekkai genkai it makes sense why he doesn’t like skin-contact/sexual repression and repulsion. And why we don’t see female Uchiha shinobi (excluding misogyny) simply bc there’s such a high risk of SA in this era
Moving on:
- Tobi and Izuna were jealous of how their brothers were being taken away. It goes past the senju/uchiha rivalry like they were just kids and were plain jealous.
- Madara and hashirama def share 1 brain cell LOLLL. Like they’re besties for a reason, Madara acts likes he smarter but nah he’s as much of an idiot as Hashi is. They’re both dreamers let these boys live and skip rocks together!!! 😭😭
- let’s be honest: Tobi built the village. Mans was doing ALL the logistics and infrastructure
- tobirama is soooo second son/eldest daughter coded it’s not even funny. The SPARE, serious and emotionless bc he needed to always clean up after his siblings, DUTIFUL, prob has a praise kink etc.
- Madara is an eldest daughter who also prob has a praise kink and touch starved
- NONE of the founders r well adjusted like they went from spending everyday of their lives at war to tryin bring peace and start essentially a ninja-revolution (PLS GO TO THERAPY)
- madara was just the most open about it: being isolated and feared by his own clan BC he was powerful, trying advocate for the village and peace, all while grieving for his last brother…yeah it makes sense y he went crazy or at least wanted to leave (fuck Kishimoto for that Kaguya bs and fuck Zetsu)
- I don’t actually believe he was trying destroy the village idkkk. I think he was trying to do an SNS aka using fighting as a way to communicate with Hashirama and well…yIkEs
- tobirama is 1000% unadjusted: mans literally created a Justu to revive the dead. You cannot tell me that doesn’t REEK of desperation and loneliness. He’s lit rally the OG mad scientist
- hashirama rlly thought sealing the Bijuu and giving them to each village was a good idea….sir WHO TF GIVES NUCLEAR WEAPONS TO SHINOBI???!! 😳😳
- I think hashirama and naruto lowkey can be summed up as: a powerful idealist. Which is a very dangerous combination. Take that how you will especially considering how shinobi thrive off of violence….it kinda makes sense how we ended up with canon Naruto
- Madara has a god complex and knows it. Hashirama has a god-complex and doesn’t know it. (God of Shinobi title def got to him and understandable)
- the founders failed and they know it. But I also kinda love it?? They’re so flawed and human as leaders and you can see how their mistakes drag into Canon Naruto. It also makes me so sad knowing that Konoha was built to prevent child soldiers and give protection only for it to actually be WORSE (Kakashi ITACHI SANNIN ik for a fact it must’ve hurt Hashi to know ur own granddaughter left the village)
Uchiha are: love is the death of duty while the Senju are: duty is the death of love and neither of them will forgive each other for picking one over the other‼️‼️‼️
- proving this ^^ w/Hashirama’s weird af characterization: aka him being a loveable idiot but at the same time CONGRATULATING Itachi for killing his own clan for Konoha…. I feel like that rlly showed me how much of a war veteran/shinobi Hashirama actually is and how he will always pick duty
- we were ROBBED of baby Kagami/hokage Kagami 😤😤😤 I’m sorry Kagami should’ve been made Hokage it just makes sense personality wise and politically wise. The only way I could see him not take it is bc he needed to be a clan leader/placate the Uchiha/help Hikaku.
- I wanna see him process the loss of his clan leader, teacher, and eventually friends to a point where Danzo takes his eyes
- everyone on Team Tobirama had a crush on Kagami at one point
- one of my fav HC: Tobi and Madara co-parenting Kagami. There’s no way Madara didn’t check up on Kagami being taught by THE senju which makes his defection hit harder for Kagami 😭😭
- BABY SANNIN ‼️‼️‼️ Tsunade was old enough to meet and remember Hashirama it makes sense that Oro and Jiraiya meet the founders
- omg could u imagine being Edo Tensei Hashirama?? Ur granddaughter’s weird friend revives u using the Jutsu ur brother invented that you specifically FORBID 😭😭
- Hashi and Tobi staring at Orochimaru like “you look familiar???” IT HAS SO MUCH COMEDIC POTENTIAL
- Mito revolutionized female shinobi like she’s def the reason ppl realized that girls can fight (Senju Toka was an exception) STAN MITO 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️
- Mito pulled a Tsunade and mentally yeeted out of Konoha after Hashi and Tobi died. Bc the way we NEVER hear about her and Hiruzen interacting except for Kushina, even tho she’s literally RELATED to the other 2 hokages….ROBBED 😵‍💫
- I HC: she was dealing w/grief (the fall of Uzushio made it worse) and she was lowkey pushed out of the council by Danzo FUCK DANZO
- I love the idea of Mito wooing for Hashirama’s hand/politically smart Mito!! It was a political marriage that grew into love. There’s no way she DIDNT suspect an attack on Uzushio lik it’s literally an island w/Kiri as it’s neighbours….Konoha gets recognition and stability while Uzushio importantly gets mainland allies
- Mito tops btw she’s def pegged Hashi before 🫢
- if Madara or Hashi had sisters/born women they would’ve def had a marriage to solidify their alliance. This makes Japanese homophobia not make sense esp in the shinobi world bc their clans trusted each other w/o backup like marriage?? Idk I’m just kinda confused y it was never even brought up for an alliance…
*cue MadaTobi arranged marriage au 100k, enemies to lovers, slowburn*
- also to dude bros homophobia has no place in the Naruto world (and IRL BTW) outside of making heirs. They’re literally MERCENARIES You telling me Kakashi has never fucked another man for information before??? Pls be serious I’m begging y’all 🙃🙃🙃
- there’s def family drama amongst the senju!! Idk I feel like Hashirama and Tobirama have the relationship of: “they love each other but don’t like each other” which makes Madara’s inclusion even worse for the brothers’ relationship. Like they def always had each other’s backs but never actually felt like they understood each other.
- I wish more fanfics/canon covered the shinobi-civilian politics more (I love politics lol give me world-building kishimoto 😤)
- Civilians hold power. THEY have all the MONEY to pay shinobi
- I’ve rlly only seen 1 fanfic that involves the Fire Daimyo during the Warring States Era (Into the Wide Blue Yonder it’s a KakaSasu Time travel fic that actually ✨works✨ 12/10 recommend) but it’s true.
Wtf is the Fire Daimyo doing during this era??? Why is he being so placate about Senju/Uchiha war unless he just sees it as entertainment?? How have shinobi NOT fought against rich civilian politicians before?? (Introducing Maoism to the naruto world lol 🤔🤔)
- Kishimoto curse ur goldfish brain….
- the uchiha and senju were def broke in this era, LMAO especially the Uchiha and I mean resource wise. War is EXPENSIVE the Uchiha don’t have Hashirama and Mokutan, they couldn’t just grow food whenever they wanted. It makes total sense that they would agree to a ceasefire just to prevent STARVATION
- once again…. robbed in terms of seeing the aftermath and devastation of war and learning how to live in a morally grey, politically unstable, resource limited world which could’ve brought in the ultimate themes of peace and the cycle of violence, and the question of if violence and war is ever justified, but…..no ❤️

Some more thoughts on Naruto and also looking at the fandom, especially Tobirama:
Tobirama is an interesting character. All of the founders are. I definitely wish we got to learn more about them but we still got quite a bit and I wanted to look a bit into Tobirama and how he treated the Uchiha as that seems a common debate amongst fans.
I’ve always found it ironic when Tobirama speaks of the Uchiha’s apparent “curse of hatred” when he was literally the angriest and most hateful. He took one look at Sasuke and started spewing bigotry at the kid and he doesn’t even know him.
An odd thing I’ve noticed is fans denying Tobirama as racist against the Uchiha. It was established within the series that as a clan, the Uchiha had their own culture and religion and who felt stronger than others. Tobirama knows these things - his clan fought the uchiha for years and he studied them well to know how to defeat them. He’s well aware that the Uchiha feel stronger than others and can easily be led into hatred and despair just as how they love stronger than others and he exploited that multiple times, and then acted surprised and disgusted about how they reacted to his actions… His paranoia and prejudice meant he alienated the uchiha in a village THEY helped found.
I also see Tobirama fans use his brothers’ deaths as the reason he hates the Uchiha and that that justifies it. This lacks logic. Yes, tobirama would hate the Uchiha for what they did to his brothers and be upset, that’s inevitable. BUT, the Senju killed hundreds of Uchiha too, including Madara’s other brothers (and later Izuna). Neither side were innocent and yet the Uchiha so desperately wanted peace they accepted the peace treaty and tried to be allies eith the Senju, whilst still trying to keep their culture alive. Like the two clans were at WAR with each other, the Senju sent children out and said children died. Yes, it’s tragic and cruel and so unfair but what do you expect the uchiha to do? They’re also paranoid and fearful and likely looking at a strategic pov by trying to stop them before they become too powerful. Now this doesn’t justify it but I’m just trying to say neither side were purely innocent or ‘evil’ like fans try to make this out as.
Now back to the Uchiha trying to keep their culture alive in Konoha. This ended up with them being alienated from the village and being looked upon as “other”, whilst the Senju dispersed throughout the village. The different cultures should have been celebrated but instead it’s just increased the suspicion as the Uchiha tried to hold onto their traditions and others didn’t so much. Madara signed that peace treaty also to receive equal and fair treatment but instead the Uchiha got the opposite and Jon noticing this would just continue, Madara grew fearful for the clans fate but when warning them, the clan were so desperate for peace in this village they decided against him. Madara knew what he was singing so it’s clear that konoha had turned against what they agreed upon.
It’s a tragic fact that Izuna was right in his wanting to Madara in his death that they Senju couldn’t be truested and it’s a pity that Tobirama’s paranoia blinded him and narrowed his mind, turning to anger and racism.
There’s something bittersweet that sasuke looks like Izuna as he tries to stop konoha’s oppressive rule that his ancestor once predicted,
Disclaimer: I do find Tobirama interesting and enjoy reading about him, as I’ve just stated here I just disagree with a lot of his actions and morals. Sadly there are inconsistencies in the writing and a lack of information that makes his character difficult to fully understand.

Madara Week Day 5 : found family
Originally analysis but there is a lot of my own interpretation so let's say Meta/Headcanon?
Tumblr media
Madara sincerely tried to consider Konoha as his new home. He did it for the sake of his people but mostly because the warring state era, the death of every single member of his family left him emotionally exhausted.
Paradoxically what Madara feared the most in his youth was solitude. It is revealed during the monologue Obito did to Naruto just after the death of Neji and Madara noted that Obito sounds just like him back then.~
Hashirama's hand came like a relief from the horror of his situation. Everything had been destroyed anyway so yeah... maybe let's build something brand new from scratches. Yeah maybe he can trust the Senju clan after all and life would be easier. But the effect of this renewed friendship was unfortunately temporary, it was like applying a tiger balm in an open infected wound full of filths. The weight of guilt, the promise he made to Izuna on his death bed, the distrust from his clansmen he wanted so badly to save, it was still haunting him... And later the village revealed itself to be just an illusion of peace. People were living side by side but they still hated each other in silence and soon he could already prophetize his clan would be in great danger under the Senju's authority. But he never found a way to properly communicate his worries to the Uchihas that have now a warm roof over their head and a meal everyday. He couldn't neither communicate with Hashirama, and the main reason in my opinion was because they have changed too much during the last decade.
If you think about it seriously there is something unrealistic about Kishimoto's writing. Close you eyes for a minute, remember your best friend when you were 12 years old. and then you go your separate way and you see him again fifteen years later. What would you say to each other? Sure you still have dear memories together but...that's it.
The fundamental period of your life when you grow from being just a child to a grown adult many things happened that change you deeply:
1) puberty, often more spectacular in men. their physical appearance, their height, their voice, their hormones like testosterone that makes them more aggressive, open to sexual experience. Just from being 12 to 17 it's two different characters. Your parents who have to deal with your teenage angst can talk about it.
2) socially you change too. from 12 to 17 you're still cocooned by the educational system, for most of us we still depend economically from our parents. and from 18 to 26. Some goes to university, changes for a different cities, hang out with different friends, shape their values different from what their parents taught them. Others start to work straight away and the changes are even more brutal, now you confront the child that you were with the reality of building a career, earning a living, pay your own taxes, vote for your president ect... in a nutshell being a functional and independent member of your society.
3) emotionally you mature : it's obvious that from our 12 to 26, most of us went through different phase of first love, second love? maybe third? maybe just broken heart, maybe just a period of chaotic love affairs one after an other, maybe long abstinence. and probably after 26 some choose to finally settle down. other may already have children and being a parents which means you don't live just for yourself anymore. It's a complete shift of paradigm when someone else depend on you for survival. Your social circles change a lot too, slowly you befriend people based on your workplace, your hobbies, your political views rather than just sharing the same playground. Some of you can befriend people from lower or higher class that what you originally comes from, forcing you to understand new codes, new skills, new cultures, new languages. And when you almost reach your thirties you may experience for the first time the death of the elders from your community. A grandma, a grandpa who was there since you were born is now gone. The brevity of life suddenly slaps you in the face. Children thinks of themselves as eternal, not adult.
Birth, childhood, adulthood, love, deception, growth, rebirth, mourning, wisdom ect...Why do I say all of this? To describe the life of someone living in a relatively peaceful environment and born in a wealthy modern world which is all of us.
The fact that you are literate, you can read my words in english, you have an internet connection, a smartphone or a desktop, and the luxury to spend time on tumblr is a proof that you are relatively privileged comparing to the majority of people on Earth.
Now we are talking about Madara born into a traditional environment and during a war time when life was even shorter and fragile. Everything I've just described is basically done faster. At 15 you're already an adult, at 18 you have responsibilities as a breadwinner, at 26 you're a senior, head of clan, veteran of many war with all the trauma it drives, parents of many children, maybe widow, (not his case but for instance Tajima was). To put it into perceptive Madara at 26 lived the life of someone 40 years old in the modern world.
To pretend that Hashirama can cast out a a whole lifetime, and just hold to their childhood to build his dreamed village was indeed utterly naive. Between the moment he was elected hokage and the moment Madara shows him the Uchiha shrine, at least a whole year has passed, the relationship with Tobirama was still tense and the first hokage did nothing on purpose. Based on that, it's obvious that Hashirama never thought about discussing what Madara went throught the last 15 years of his life. He knew the child Madara but he completely brush off the adult Madara.
Yes they were close friend as children, but that were now two different persons with a separate background. Am I saying that their reconciliation was doomed from the start? No, they have healthy roots but it would have ask from both side to be more patient with each other and more attentive to what the other says rather than forcing a past childhood into the present.

2000 Word Commission (MadaIzu/ HashiIzu/ TobiIzu) for anon
"Honestly I just want part 2 to be pregnancy sex, I want each of the 3 possible baby daddy’s to have a turn with Izuna while he’s still pregnant."
Part 2 of this!
Ko-fi commissions open!!
Tumblr media
"It's really true what they say about pregnant people glowing, you're stunning." Hashirama proclaims with a radiant smile on his face, elbow resting on the table and his hand holding his chin. He stares at him with devotion, as if he would like to throw himself on the floor and kiss his feet, a sensation that makes him tremble with anger and pleasure at the same time. No one looks at him with the same fondness as the Senju, tender, pleasant, genuinely loving eyes.
He could try to compare him to his older brother though it would be pointless, different loves coming from two opposite dominants, both perfect and contrary in every way. Madara's gaze always has a hint of something passionate behind it, a love so pure and deep, real, that it escapes any kind of understanding.
Hashirama is simply .... Hashirama. Faithful dog eyes utterly dedicated to his owner, happy to see him, a level of appreciation within those brown orbs that cannot be explained. He doesn't know where his adoration comes from or what he did to earn it, but his mind clouds over when he hears him talk that way.
Izuna hates and loves it in equal parts.
"Please shut up..." he whispers while covering his eyes with one hand, the heat in his cheeks apparent and impossible to hide. It seems that pregnancy makes him more susceptible to everything, including the flattery he fears so much from the Hokage.
"I can't help it, I love your belly." Those gleaming white teeth never made him so uncomfortable, simultaneously sending a familiar warmth between his legs. What the Uchiha feels every time he finds himself in the spotlight of this Alpha's attention is hard to describe, his ego trying to fight the pleasure he gets whenever he gives him a compliment but his natural instincts bathing in his wonderful words.
He strokes his prominent belly with his other hand thoughtlessly when he hears him speak of it.
Hormones seem to be totally revved up since the three Alphas followed his plan to perfection, filling him with biological possibilities and giving rise to an uncertain future within his being, a life (or several) growing strong with each passing day.
No one warned him how annoying it would be to have the symptoms of a heat but consciously and prolonged for the months it takes to give birth.
The Uchiha now lives horny but without losing his mind about it, pussy always ready to be taken and a constant tingle of pleasure between his legs. It's infuriating and wonderful at the same time.
"Hormones are getting to me, so take off your clothes before I take them off of you." He babbles between the dizziness of arousal and the discomfort of having his entire crotch wet, ready to be fucked just by being near one of the potential fathers.
His body accepted Hashirama since he decided to welcome him as a candidate for his belly, consciously allowing him to fill him and compete for the golden place he carries with him, granting the chance to unite clans and genetics, future perfect generations.
The Hokage follows his instructions smoothly, reacting to the wonderful scent Izuna gives off in the air and ready, extending his hand for him to stand and approach, assisting with removing his clothes.
He guides him to sit on him, prepared area and plain entry, giving him immediate relief at being stuffed by a prominent, good quality Alpha. "I love the effect I have on you" Hashirama whispers as he hears him moan, holding him by the buttocks and helping him up and down.
"Shut up..." Is all he can say, overwhelmed by the pleasure his natural instincts bring about as he is being pleasured, his huge belly in the way making it difficult for him to move on his own. The Senju is huge, a size to recognize and enjoy, but it's always hard to get used to his length.
"Look me in the eyes, pretty one, please." It's a demand disguised as a pleading question, and in a state of feisty submission, Izuna is incapable of denying him anything. Whatever the Alpha asks for is something he will be forced to deliver, complying with his request between moans.
When their gazes connect, the Hokage's hands and hips lose their rhythm, stunned at the sensation of being in the limelight of those black orbs. The power the Uchiha carries in his gaze beyond his Dōjutsu is mesmerizing, a pool of night color to dive into and get lost in, unmeasured beauty focused completely on him.
Izuna is the most beautiful omega to ever set foot on this earth, and Hashirama has him on top of himself, probably carrying his future heir, surrendered and at his complete disposal. It's an invigorating feeling, something that strokes his ego and makes his Alpha purr with satisfaction.
"Senju move-!" two silky soft lips devour his mouth, stealing all his words and breath in the process, a quiet, love-filled kiss that makes him uncomfortable and happy. The Hokage has that terrible power to manage to deal with him, to take away all his sarcastic and passive-aggressive responses, to strip him to his core and expose a need to be seen and flattered he always wished to deny.
Izuna finds himself dying to receive cute remarks from him.
Those huge hands lift him up and down again with a slow, leisurely, amorous pace, taking the time to feel each thrust. His lips don't let go or give respite, and the Uchiha discovers how passionate it is to feel the sweetness of his mouth as he slowly moves him.
In general, he would prefer a much more violent and fast paced, furious sex with no thought for the other or the pain remaining between his legs afterwards, but what Hashirama proposes is as delightful as that.
Eventually, he allows him to breathe, parting mouths but not letting him move his gaze from his, spellbound by the magic those black Uchiha eyes exude, entranced by the beauty of the person above him. "How dare you be so beautiful, hm? You're addictive, Izuna."
He has no strength or concentration to silence him, only able to moan, squeezing his shoulders with both hands and feeling so close to finishing. He never manages to understand how the Senju can fuck him calmly and languidly, and still have the same effect as the opposite. "Such a good pussy... do you want another baby in there?"
"Yes..."
"Good job, beautiful." And with those words Hashirama takes a more vigorous step, stimulating his cunt in a wonderful way and focusing on filling him with his seed again. This time there is no knot or natural need to secure it inside, his body already satisfied with the huge belly he carries, yet adoring to feel it anyway.
The Senju puts all his momentum into targeting the pleasure the Uchiha's pussy milking him provides, still lost in his eyes and enjoying his every expression, feeling powerful with every moan he manages to steal from him.
He hugs him around the waist and rests his head on his shoulder as he feels his peak come, holding him in his arms and making sure he doesn't move.
It is the gestures of tenderness and love, affection, the Senju always has that succeed in making him feel funny, and that which he craves so much when his Omega seeks validation, pleasure.
He paints his inner walls white effortlessly, always ready to give whatever Izuna asks for, totally pleased by the sounds he makes. His hormones relax as he gets what his instincts demanded, and that cloud of need disappears from his mind, allowing pure clarity again.
He pushes himself off of Hashirama faster than the Senju would have liked, leaving him grasping the air and not waiting a second longer than necessary. He picks up his clothes from the floor, pants and underwear in hand while his long robe protects his privacy, and prepares to run away.
The Hokage always manages to make him feel exposed to a level he cannot tolerate without being horny, fleeing every time consciousness returns and he realizes he must face him naked. At this point, he is used to watching him leave quickly after finishing, but the expression of sadness Hashirama always shows creates a huge emptiness in his chest.
He whispers a not quite heartfelt "sorry..." before disappearing out the door and heading for the bathroom, attempting to clean and make himself presentable again. There's always a strange lump-like guilt stuck in his throat when it comes to vanishing from Hashirama's hands, a sentiment he can't erase from his head no matter how hard he tries.
If he becomes the winner of his little secret challenge, he will have to find a way to deal with it.
Distracted in his thoughts and rushing to get back to the privacy of his own home, he is surprised when a hand grabs him hard by the arm and pulls him into another room, door slamming shut behind him.
"What are you doing here?" a frowning Tobirama angrily asks, arms folded and waiting for a satisfactory answer. He observes the clothes in his hand suggestively, implying knowledge of the reasons for his visit but waiting to hear it from him.
"I stopped by to fuck your brother because I was horny, but now I have to go, so if you'll excuse me." He turns to leave out the same door the albino forced him through seconds before, but as he is about to slide it open, a large hand closes over his and stops him.
"What's the matter, Tobi? Angry because the Hokage put a baby in me and you didn't?" He doesn't know who was the winner of his belly, who managed to successfully impregnate him and whose child is inside him, but there is never a shortage of opportunities to make the Senju's blood boil, a sense of old-fashioned comfort in making him angry, momentarily returning to those times when everything was simpler.
"Your womb is too big for only one baby to be in there. You appear to be full-term but you're only about six months." That distinction makes him tense, and his eternal rival seems to notice, "What's the matter, Zuna? Weren't you weighing the possibility of having more than one puppy in there? They're probably all mine." He can feel the mischievous smirk the albino wears on his face as he speaks while putting a hand on his belly, and pressing him against the door.
"Fuck you, Senju, we won't know until delivery." He peels himself off when feeling his rival trying to use his sensory abilities to read his belly, stepping away and walking further into the room. His butt slams against a desk, unable to move his eyes from the man to make sure he doesn't play any tricks on him. "No one will know what's going on in here until then."
He rests both hands on his tummy, protective instinct guarding that future life (or lives) from the possible threat in front of him. Could he and his enemy get along, if this one ended up being the father of his baby?
"Why don't you use your Sharingan to find out?" He asks approaching him, a predator locking up his prey ready to devour it. Nothing in Tobirama's posture invites relaxation, and his hostile words only confirm having to be alert in front of him.
"I want it to be a surprise."
"Surprise? What are you, three years old?"
"Fuck you."
"No, fuck you."
The tension only increases between the two, and the Senju grabs the clothes in his hands only to throw them forcefully to the floor, standing face to face with only inches of distance in between. "I'm not letting you find out, you idiot, spare me the attempts of using your stupid techniques."
He fixes his eyes firmly on him, demonstrating he will neither back down nor allow his intimidations to succeed, resolute in the face of his convictions and unwavering. Tobirama does not let himself be defeated either, an intense staring match where none of them can win.
It is at that moment when the Senju accidentally lets his guard down, stunned by Izuna's orbs. He is still not used to being able of looking an Uchiha in the eyes and telling the story, living, always fervently avoiding that spot after years of fighting against them. This is the very reason why he never manages to avoid the natural spell his enemy has in his gaze, no ocular ability activated.
Tobirama feels absorbed by the color of those eyes and their depth, unintentionally captivated by the wonders hidden in them throughout the years of war. He would never have thought of appreciating his gaze face to face if it weren't for the work his brother and Madara did together, unprepared for what he would find there when it happened.
Izuna's eyes are as alluring and imperious as his scent, a fatal combination for any unsuspecting Alpha. He doesn't know if it's on purpose or an innate talent he has, but his eyes are as captivating as a Genjutsu itself, always catching him off guard and making him forget the situation, the context, everything.
The Senju finds himself salivating to taste his lips, to possess him, not to lose sight of those beautiful eyes and the beauty of the person in front of him-.
"I hate you, Uchiha." is the only thing he answers before turning him around and lifting the little protection that Izuna's robe provided, forcing him to lean with his hands on the desk and tilting his chest forward. Even in his anger and fury, he is careful to place a protective hand on his rival's belly, preventing it from colliding with the wood.
The Uchiha succeeds in angering, annoying, infuriating him without even words, unsettled by the feelings produced by his natural stare, and unable to process any other feeling than negative ones towards him.
He hates him with his soul, or so he forces himself to believe.
A simple tug with his other hand on the waistband of his pants reveals an erect member, arousal he never has trouble stirring up when it comes to fight him. The work his brother did previously left the way paved to thrust hard into him, regardless of whether the Uchiha wants it or not.
"Those babies are mine, you hear me? You're fucking mine, Izuna." He whispers into his neck as he is fully buried in him, dark satisfaction at watching his enemy fight against what is happening. He struggles between a mixture of pleasure and anger, moaning with rage at how good it feels to have him inside him.
"There's nothing you can do about it, you're stuck with me forever." A hand forces him to turn his face and kiss him, holding him by the jaw and manipulating his body as he wishes. Izuna momentarily struggles against his mouth, eventually surrendering under him and accepting his commanding tongue inside.
The albino's pace always leans towards violence and little control, only taking more caution because of Izuna's prominent tummy in his hand. "Look at you, all round with my children, you belong to me from the inside out."
When he senses the Uchiha wants to talk back or wrestle, his tongue slips back into his mouth, intertwining with the other's and fucking him harder when he hears him genuinely moan. Izuna always tries to conceal his arousal from him, to make him believe he has no effect on his body, and that only lasts until he manages to destroy his restraints and break through all his barriers, pushing him to the limit.
"My horny cunt, mine." And when Izuna nods without even thinking about what he says, he knows he manages to reach deep inside him, touching his mind even more than anyone else. He has an overwhelming need to possess him, to make sure he is his and his alone, to keep him from being with anyone else, and a part of Tobirama begs to be the father of that baby just so he can mark him for good with his teeth.
Izuna would look amazing with his fangs tattooed on his neck, ensuring eternal dominance over him.
Lost in that image and fantasy, he chomps down hard on him in the same place he would if he could claim him as his own forever, hoping that mark would never fade. Izuna moans with abandon, and the way his pussy squeezes his cock makes him come right then and there, letting it all inside.
It takes him a second to catch his breath, but there is no affection once he finishes. The nicest thing he does for Izuna is hand him the clothes he threw on the floor before fucking him.
A second later, the door opens and closes, leaving him alone in the room and relieved that his enemy has given up trying to find out what's inside.
Izuna makes quick work of his garments and ignores the need to stop by the bathroom before leaving, wanting even more urgently to return home and lock himself in the safety of his house. His arousal has taken him down a rocky road today, and he just wants to feel the comfort of his nest, sink into the warmth of a hot bath and sleep.
That's what he's thinking about as he makes a quick walk home, as fast as he can with the huge belly he's carrying, feeling the contents of both Senju brothers slide down the inside of his pants, down his legs.
It is an immediately uncomfortable, wet, unpleasant sensation, and he hurries even faster to get there. He avoids busy streets as he walks to the compound, unable to carry on a threaded conversation with anyone in this state, embarrassed by the mark Tobirama left on him.
He will certainly have to think of a way to keep his Aniki from seeing it.
Though he'd love to be strong enough to simply jump through the trees and gain speed, there's no way to do that with a baby inside, at least not without using what little strength he has left. He ends up choosing the longest path of all just to avoid familiar faces, taking much more time on the journey.
When he arrives home, he makes a beeline for the bathroom, immediately filling the bathtub with hot water.
He assumes Madara must be in some meeting with the council solely because of the hour, and feels confident he has time to decide how to cover up that bite on his neck. "Of course you couldn't fuck me without scarring me, of course not, mister "everything I touch is mine". Idiot."
As he pulls off his pants, he appreciates the mess that's soaked into the fabric, a river of white fluids running down to his ankle and somehow grossing him out as he forgets how turned on he was. It will be difficult to clean them up, but he will have to do it personally if he wants to keep today's adventure a secret.
When the tub is finally full, he throws away his clothing problems and steps into the water, quickly gaining instant relief. Wetting his hair with a wooden container, he simply lets the temperature of the water put his mind at ease.
He feels peace as he caresses his belly, genuine joy when he senses movements inside, and thinks about what Tobirama said about having more than one baby. Of course it would be possible, even more so considering his own fertility and the ability all the Alphas he fucked in his last heat have, but it wouldn't cease to surprise him.
He re-evaluates using his Sharingan to see, but quickly dismisses the idea. He decided it would be a surprise, and intends to maintain that illusion until the end.
Gently washes his body, a moment of self-love, but when he reaches his crotch he can't help but feel warm again. Pregnancy hormones are exhausting and impossible to ignore, and when they demand he satisfy his natural needs, there's not much else left to do.
His fingers slide gently up and down his vagina, caressing his outer lips and then moving to his inner ones, lingering on his clitoris for a few circular motions. The sensations are intense and fast, his body predisposed for more release, and he becomes engrossed in his own bubble of pleasure as he masturbates.
Forgetting the world around him as two of his fingers caress that wonderful little ball, side to side and circularly, moving down to his opening when he feels too much pleasure and is about to come only to delay his peak, prolonging the stimulation as long as he can.
His eyes close and his attention wanders among all the physical sensations he is experiencing, failing to notice those eyes staring intently at him from the bathroom door. Fully convinced of being alone in the house, he never restrained his moans or sounds, catching his older brother's attention.
Madara approaches the bathtub, and only when his presence is unnoticeable, Izuna finally opens his eyes. He gives him a tender and embarrassed smile, feeling exposed but comfortable all at the same time, and accepts the hand his Aniki extends to him to get out of the tub.
No words are needed to understand each other, connected in a superior way and without the need to explain, and as he covers himself with a bathrobe, the Uchiha leader empties the tub, both then walking in the same direction to Madara's room.
It is his favorite place to be whenever horny, surrounded by the overpowering scent of his Aniki and feeling totally safe and secure, sheltered by the presence of the most capable Alpha to take care of him and please him. No one knows him like he does, no one knows how to press the right buttons and disarm him under his hands like his older brother, no one understands him the way Madara does.
The leader arranges some pillows on his bed one on top of the other, forming a pile on which Izuna can rest his back and not feel so much pressure on his stomach from the baby's position, ensuring as much comfort as possible for him.
The way he tends to him, making sure he has everything he needs and more, is the biggest turn on factor when it comes to his older brother, ever attentive to him in every way possible, the perfect dominant.
As he lies down on the bed and opens the bathrobe wide, he observes Madara tie his hair into a high ponytail, pulling any strands out of the middle for convenience.
He approaches from the side, climbing over the mattress but avoiding placing himself on him so as not to press his protruding belly, and with one hand exactly where the baby kicks, he kisses him deeply.
How his Aniki's lips move, the contact of his mouth on his, the exactness of his tongue inside his mouth, has no equal, only Madara being able to take him to the limit without even touching him. He can't excuse himself by saying it's the pregnancy hormones, always having this effect on him since the first time they touched like this.
"Aniki... I love you..." He speaks between kisses and holding his brother's face between both hands, desperate to taste and feel him completely. This his Alpha, the dominant who he wishes to be bitten and branded by, the one he wants to belong to completely.
"I love you too, Izuna." The older Uchiha looks into his eyes, foreheads pressed together and undeniable visual contact, black orbs connected in a union of loyalty and passion, pure love that cannot be explained in words. The bond they both share escapes any kind of rationality, and it seems that life divinely united them by making each other Alpha and Omega, destined to be together from the beginning.
Madara is his person, the only one who understands him from beginning to end, who he wants by his side for the rest of his life. There is no safer place than his arms, no more beautiful spot than his eyes, no more perfect location than his lips.
Locking eyes with him exposes love on another level, pure affection in inexplicable ways, and they both lose themselves in each other's kisses in such intimate situations. Soon, they are joined in a deep embrace again, Izuna moaning into his older brother's tongue at the devastating effect he has on her body.
"Please..."
His Aniki replies with a small smile, showing he knows what he wants, and settles between his legs to help him with what he couldn't finish. He holds his pelvis by tangling his arms under his thighs, and his two hands are placed at the base of his belly, caressing the residence of that future baby.
"You're perfect, you know that don't you?" he asks before plunging into his crotch, giving no room for an answer. He slides his tongue from his hole to his clitoris like licking ice cream, flicking the tip up and down on top.
The moans he gets from his younger brother are deep and immediate, spurring him to act with more force and precision. He laps the entire exterior slowly, and concentrates both of his lips on that wonderfully sensitive nub as he sucks, flicking his tongue and attacking the area with pure enjoyment.
Izuna's fingers dig into his hair and tug at it, pressing him even harder against his skin and demanding more and more.
One of his thumbs moves down to his clit, and his tongue now turns to concentrate on devoutly thrusting into him. Madara moves in and out of his hole pointing upwards, brushing that sensitive area with precision while his finger stimulates him at the same time.
He exerts more force on the grip he has on his pelvis to prevent movement, holding him with determination to prevent him from escaping his stimulation. Madara knows he is sensitive, he can feel the scent of two other known Alphas on him even though he bathed, and he is aware they probably fucked him before he came home.
His tongue acts as relief and punishment at the same time, pretending to ignore the mark Izuna wears on his neck so as not to get angry and take it out on him.
The Uchiha could delay his pleasure, not let him finish or push him to the limit a few times before giving him release, let him know he knows about the little adventure he had today only because of the Senju brothers' scent permeating the whole fucking bathroom, but he chooses to be lenient and ignore his brother's sexual insistence.
If he wants pleasure, sex, he can have it here at home with him, but he also understands that hormones make him do stupid things mindlessly. Izuna doesn't need anyone but him, he doesn't need any other Alpha, he has everything he could ever want in Madara himself.
When that baby is born and finally everyone understands this Omega belongs to him, the Uchiha Leader will mark him for good by biting his neck, claiming him as his own and not allowing anyone else to touch him.
He strongly releases his own scent to ensure his younger brother is covered in it, erasing that of the others, permeating the entire room with even more dominance and enjoying how Izuna rubs against his sheets, his pillows, his bed. He is his, ultimately, and deeply his.
He again engages his clit with his tongue, and smiles self-satisfiedly as the younger Uchiha convulses in his mouth, finishing on his lips and tensing his whole body with pleasure. Izuna tries to move his head from between his legs, but Madara punishes him with over-stimulation and a second orgasm followed by another, only stopping when he sees tears in his eyes.
He moves up to his mouth again, kissing him lovingly and making him swallow his own fluids, whispering a "you are mine" against his lips and receiving a "yours, Aniki" in response. The honesty he feels in Izuna's words puts him at ease, completely confident that the baby inside him is his.

piggy back rides and Izuna x Mito(? 🤔
Whoopsie, that took longer than I wanted… surprise! Here it is! (For context, a loooooong while ago I asked for prompts)
IzuMito | piggyback ride
As the youngest of five children, Izuna had the privilege of being the one who got pampered and spoiled by his elder siblings. There would always be one of them next to him when he made a mistake: When he hit his head, they doted on him and made sure it was nothing serious. When a bee flew into his wide collar, Madara got it out before it could sting him, while he was screaming his lungs out. When he dropped his food, his sister gave him her own.
Nothing and nobody was allowed to upset him while they were near. Even when he insisted on fighting his own battles, they would not listen. They treated him like he was made of sugar.
…he hated it.
When he was nine and sprained his ankle, he had enough and went as far as refusing a piggyback ride back home. Instead he hobbled all the way to the Uchiha compound by himself, grumpily snapping at his siblings’ concerned pleas to let them at least support his weight. Izuna was twenty-four now. His four elder siblings had been reduced to one, who fretted over him all the more, even though Madara often pretended otherwise. His big brother had learned to be more subtle if he wished for his aid to be accepted.
Izuna had worked hard for his reputation. He was strong. Cunning. Independent. He went toe to toe with Tobirama when they had still been at odds with the Senju, and now he was one of Konoha’s fiercest (and most feared) protectors.
“This is humiliating…” Izuna grumbled.
Mito huffed and slightly loosened her grip. “Do you want me to drop you?”
“No,” Izuna hurried to say, his fingers digging into her shoulder.
He trusted Mito. Unlike others, she knew how to be discreet. This would be their little secret.
If he was honest with himself, he liked being carried if it was her. Her strong arms supported his weight with ease – something most people would not suspect, since she was hiding her muscle under fine silk and delicately embroidered sleeves. Her sweet and soft demeanor was as deceptive as the sea. It invited you to eagerly jump into the blue water, only to meet a gruesome fate when the unsuspecting victim was skewered on sharp rocks waiting under the waves. Izuna had only seen glimpses of it, but he had felt the hard lines of her body beneath her clothes on more than one occasion. Oh, to be so lucky to unveil these layers, piece by piece, under the soft glow of the moonlight—
“…are you drooling on my shoulder?” Mito asked in an incredulous tone.
Izuna tensed and snapped his mouth shut, before licking his lips as quietly as possibly. “Wh–What? No. Rain. It’s definitely raining.”
He might be getting a little too comfortable around her.

Madara for the compilation hc game!!
headcanon compilation ask
Thank you for enabling me. This is under a cut because it's just a long enough for it to be annoying to scroll past on the dashboard.
• a lesson they learned in their childhood:
This isn't exactly a good lesson, but he learned very early on that most responsibility should rest on him, and that his own judgement takes precedence over all else. This is because:
- his incredible talent as a child often put him on the frontlines of important missions: he's got "I'm the best -> I'm going to be the best" drilled in his head already, and so, the natural result of that is that he should always succeed, that he's got the power to ensure nothing bad happens to his fellow clan members and, more importantly, his direct family. Right?
- wrong. And the failure feels deeply, deeply personal to him. Because he's supposed to be The One capable of preventing this, he's supposed to be The Reliable person, and when he isn't he's stuck in a guilt spiral
- And like, along with with that, he still does have a superiority complex (which is kind of hard to challenge when you've been killing grown-ups twice your size at age 12 and your only living rival is the second-coming of ninja God) so the conclusion most normal people would have when everything falls apart because they only two hands and can't be everywhere at once— which is that they need help, and to rely on others— never exactly comes to him! Instead he's compensating by growing stronger (bc strength and power are reliable) and becoming "more observant" (according to him... though he's actually just becoming more cautious and closed off, lol).
- It's not that he never listens to advice ever or doesn't have people doing the planning for him, it's just that whenever Madara has a gut feeling... well, everyone should do best to follow Madara's gut feeling, since he's definitely right about this, and if he is right about it and nobody does it it's still his fault if everything goes wrong (bc he should've pushed harder for it) but also if he's wrong and everyone fucks up it's... his fault if it goes wrong (bc he should've been able to prevent it)*
- This is the mentality that will have you living out the rest of your days in a cave, basically.
• a reason they have for getting out of bed each morning:
Pre-meeting Hashirama:
- Hanging out/training with his siblings! Succeeding at a mission and getting satisfaction from it. Hanging around the falconers and their birds.
After he met Hashirama:
- Take a wild guess
Post first breakup:
- Knowing he has to lead his clan to victory no matter what
- Knowing he has to keep Izuna safe and alive no matter what
Post Uchiha-Senju alliance and Konoha being formed:
- Hanging out with Hashirama every now and then
- Going to the aviary every now and then
• a fear:
Being powerless. It'd be stripping something he feels largely defines him, and allows him to shield others. He's lost a lot of people through perceived powerlessness after all.
• a strength:
Love. Those fleeting moments where he genuinely acts like a kind person.
• how they think others perceive them:
It's not exactly a secret to him that he's not very well-liked; he knows his clan thinks he's incompetent, untrustworthy, too much of a warmonger, bound to lead them to their destruction, etc. They don't exactly hide it from him.
As for the specific and personal, he's got the general sense that Izuna looks up to him, trusts him, but also gets frustrated with him. He knows Tobirama does not like him and he doesn't care bc he hates his guts, lol. He...wants Hashirama to have a special attention given to him, and he actually does have it if you asked Hashirama himself, but Madara has doubts given that Hashirama does have Other Shit To Do (building the village and all) and also there was a period before Madara's proper defection in which they weren't talking to each other properly which heightened that impression.
• how they perceive themselves:
Again, Madara thinks he is The One Who Has To Do Everything, or at the very least the only one who can do anything properly. Do I think he has a little bit of self-awareness on it? Yes. Is he gonna do anything about it? No, bc he has control issues and trying to loosen up is a terrifying concept, and THAT is something he will NEVER admit.
• whether or not they consider themselves a ‘decent’ person:
Lol, no. He's not that far up his own ass. He thinks what he's doing will eventually lead to good, not that he himself morally upstanding, you get me?
• a temptation / proclivity they have:
Drama. He is DRAMATIC, he is a PERFORMANCE ARTIST, he will personnally mow down your entire army and make sure it looks sufficiently cool and intimidating while he's doing it. Which is because he likes flexing his muscles, but the result always ends up pretty showy.
• an alternate career to what they have in canon (if applicable):
I think he would be happier if he spent the rest of his life raising birds and put the scythe and the gunbai down.
Also this is just for my benefit personnally, but he could also be a model for gloves bc it's MY Tumblr and it's my god-given right to sexualize that old man.
• how they waste time:
Either stewing in his own thoughts and souring his own mood as a result of it, or setting things on fire.
*: this doesn't mean he never blames anyone else for anything, though. Like yes there's the "I could have prevented it" part but he is still gonna blame the person who stabbed his brother for being the one to actually stab his brother for example, lol. He both gets mad at people making decisions AND at himself bc he could've had a hand in preventing the consequences of them.

would be great if you would share some headcanons about madara
Hello there, anon! Thank you for the ask.
Sure! I'll gladly try to stretch my imagination and create at least a few headcanons for Madara. 🤍
I imagine he’s a good leader, despite the fact he hates people standing behind him
My long-time headcanon was that his fear of people standing behind him was partially caused by the fact someone (probably a Senju) attacked (and killed) his younger siblings behind his back
I headcanon he might have had a "gut" feeling when he met Hashirama, just like Hashirama had when he met Madara
I think child Madara would have rolled his eyes at being called "a gift from the divine" xD. Adult Madara before losing Izuna would have frowned at Hashirama and scolded him for it, Madara after losing Izuna but still in Konoha would be quiet and would have a similar reaction to the one he had when he was offered the position of Hokage. And every version of Madara after leaving the village would attempt to leave the topic immediately and instead focus on fighting
I think he doesn't remember the faces of his younger siblings (beside Izuna's)
I think he was really proud of his falcons and he would be willing to teach anyone who would show interest in the hobby
He has a good eye for fashion and he actually likes to dress well, if the circumstances allow him to of course
In a relationship, I don't think he would this abusive, manipulative prick who would rape his partner/spouse, I actually imagine him to be quite the opposite: very caring, patient, devoted, and always trying to make sure his dear lover is safe and happy
I don't think he ever had a child, but if he did have a child, he would cherish them beyond the merits of human possibilities
I think that he loved looking up at the moon, especially the full moon
I think that just as much as he loved the feel of fighting, he also loved sensations like wind flowing through his hair or sun warming his skin
I also think that the Madara before losing Izuna (or before losing his faith in humanity) would have a lot of respect for Fugaku
When training with Izuna, I think that sometimes Madara would let Izuna win on purpose. This might seem irresponsible, but I think Madara would realize how important the feeling of victory is, how much it can boost your confidence in the next battle, so he would let Izuna win (I also think older Izuna would always notice this though)
These are just a few headcanons that came into my mind, I hope you liked them. 💜💜 If you have any other headcanon (or even canon) related suggestions/questions on Madara, feel free to ask, I'll try my best to answer them. 🤗🤍

Secrets Worth Sharing
A/N: Hey y'all! This is my first Naruto fanfic, which I've also posted on Archive of Our Own. Please be kind and enjoy!
Warning(s): Minor character death, angst, hurt/comfort, intersex characters, arranged marriage, talks/thoughts about abortion/miscarriage
~~~~
Tobirama Senju was a man of many secrets. Well, more like a man that highly values his own privacy and is not as open as other individuals (like his easy-trusting older brother for example). He was not given the privilege of being open with his truths and feelings, having been groomed from birth to be a heartless shinobi who did not allow his emotions to interfere with his performance. His father had been harsh with these facts whilst training and out on the battlefield, blunt and uncaring that Tobirama and his brothers were children and children had no place amongst the battlefield and shouldn’t be expected to take a life without a bat of an eye. Kawarama had only been seven when he was ripped away from this world, so young and full of life, and it had taken everything in Tobirama’s small, lanky eleven pre-pubescent form to not break down much like his elder brother had, to feel such unbridled emotion his surviving otouto had felt. Itama’s death only a year later (sweet, innocent, and healing Itama) wrung him dry of tears, of allowing himself to be so vulnerable when it came to loss because to die ‘in battle was honorable’, at least that’s what their father had said as dirt was piled atop of his otouto’s grave to the right of Kawarama’s. He fought with every fiber of his being to protect what little family he had left, taking hits meant for Hashirama and saving Toka from debilitating blows, creating new jutsus, and putting the needs and feelings of others before his own because he wasn’t supposed to feel, shinobi don’t feel-.
Then, as he stood dutifully beside his anija opposite the Uchiha heirs amongst their fellow clansmen, Tobirama couldn’t help but feel. Moments before he had nearly stolen the life of one Izuna Uchiha and as adrenaline and tension crossed through his ever lanky yet muscular form, the conversation mingling between the opposing clans made his heart thumped against his chest as the two clan heads agreed to peace. Hope fluttered dangerously in his chest as his wine colored orbs searched Madara’s half hidden profile, gazing at those pools of obsidian with caution and reluctance whilst trying to determine whether the Uchiha was speaking truth when he offered his hand in establishing between through blood soaked clans. The time following the mutual surrender of the Senju and Uchiha, of Hashirama and Madara finally obtaining the means of support to create the peace they had dreamed of from a young age as they were forced to bury clansmen and young brothers, was a whirlwind of events, filled with peace talks, negotiations, and making sure his anija did not make a fool of himself. He waited for the other shoe to drop as each party laid out the final agreements, for this foolish dream of peace between the two rivals to come to an end before he began to believe it was true, and much to his surprise and his other clansmen (including his far too optimistic elder brother), the Uchiha set a requirement for concession.
“A Senju heir must marry one of ours, as a show of mutual acceptance of these peace agreements and in means of acquiring extra security for our clan.”
By the time this peace talks came to be, Hashirama and Mito had been married for nearly a year already and with the eldest Senju heir already taken and the other two dead and gone, the responsibility of establishing peace, in ending the unnecessary bloodshed between their respective clans, to honor the unneeded deaths of Itama and Kawarama, fell onto Tobirama’s shoulders. Being placed in such a position with no means of escape or replacement had been both suffocating and frustrating but he knew better than to reject the frail olive branch the Uchiha had set before them. Hashirama had tried to reason with Madara, (“Madara, is this really necessary-?”), and before the Uchiha clan head could even think of a response, Tobirama calmly sealed his fate.
“We agree to the terms you lay before us.”
His readied agreeance shocked not only his brother and cousin but floored the Uchiha delegation, particularly one Madara Uchiha who stared at him like he had grown a second head. Many deemed him one of the greatest haters of the Uchiha, having seen his treatment towards the rival clan on and off the battlefield, but Tobirama truly had no firm and enduring hate and ill-will towards the fire natured shinobi. Yes, he felt hate towards the Uchiha that had slaughtered his brothers but it was not directed towards the entirety of the Uchiha; they had been at war and a shinobi did whatever it took to survive or gain an upper hand, even if it meant killing the innocent. He found himself wondering what Kawarama and Itama would be like as he stood there with determination, arms crossed over his chest with finality. Would they be upset at seeing him agree to practically give himself away as a bargaining chip as a means to obtaining peace? Would they beg for there to be another way, to demand the Uchiha change their mind? Sadly, he would never know and that piece of knowing reality only strengthened his resolve.
Hashirama, placed between a rock and a hard place, conceded to giving away his only living brother away as a means of finally having peace and Tobirama watched as dread and reluctance colored his anija’s tar colored eyes. The plans of this arranged marriage were set and Tobirama found himself coming to look eye to eye with his promised husband and obsidian orbs subtly clashed with his pools of merlot, an unspoken bond now tying them together forever. Upon arriving back at the Senju compound, Tobirama found himself subjected to a nearly hysterical Hashirama, his elder brother demanding why, why had Tobirama agreed to such demands, there had to be another way-! Toka, while significantly more in control of her emotions, had similar demands, her main emotions having been anger and frustration (“There is only enough room for one idiot in this family, little cousin, and Hashirama already has that role covered!”) and after dealing with a depressed Hashirama, Tobirama did his best to soothe his cousin's worries. The only calm and rational person aside from Tobirama himself was Mito, his well-collected and commanding sister-in-law swiftly jumping in and knocking some sense into her blubbering husband and seething cousin-in-law and if she told him that she questioned his intelligence as they parted ways for the night, only the gods and the chirping crickets would know.
With the negotiations finished and the bed made and laid in by both parties, the construction of Hashirama and Madara’s dream village began and with it began his forced courtship with the Uchiha clan head. Hashirama, in an attempt to be intimidating, threatened the apathetic Uchiha with bodily harm if he ever came to harm his “precious otouto”, those his threats fell short for numerous reasons, the largest being that the peace treaty prohibited any violence occurring between the clans. Tobirama was swift in reminding his anija of this fact. Madara and his courtship began with a rocky start, as many arranged marriages do (Hashirama and Mito’s being the rare exception), and the need to be open emotionally, to not hide his emotions and to be the mind and voice of reason always was a difficult task. His betrothed also struggled with this reality, to be vulnerable in a world that ate such an open state with murderous glee, and arguments were had and feelings accidentally stepped on. Two emotionally stunted men together was a recipe for disaster and many watched them with bated breaths, for their engagement to fall apart, for the cautious hopes for peace to shatter into millions of pieces before their very eyes. The weight to succeed weighed heavy on Tobirama’s shoulders and as he stood in the middle of Madara and Izuna’s backyard amidst another argument with Madara, copious amounts of rain hailing from above without restraint as frustration and confusion tormented his soul, it finally forced him to collapse. He shouted at the Uchiha standing a mere few feet away from him under the roof of the engawa, tears racing down his marked face as he shouted himself hoarse, one of the worst storms in the region's history unfolding around them. Madara watched him with irritation, a well-made mask of indifference sitting upon his stoic visage, and as Tobirama finally gave up, when he threw the towel in and allow himself to be vulnerable for the first time in years, the Uchiha’s rough lips were suddenly on his own and suddenly his surroundings, his worries, his fears were gone and replaced with warm comfort.
Their relationship became one of truth and openness from that moment forward, the two of them doing their best to establish a balance between themselves, and unknowingly fell in love along the way. By the time the primary building of Konoha had been completed and their wedding date arrived, Tobirama could confidently (and quite fondly, though no one needed to know this at the time) state that he loved Madara Uchiha. As they exchanged their vows before the clans of the village, with Izuna smirking that ugly smirk of his and Hashirama in tears as his poor wife comforted the weeping fool (“He is taking Tobi away from me Mito!”, “Tobirama is not yours beloved, he is a grown man.”) Tobirama gazed at his husband to be with honest hope and heated cheeks. His heart sweetly ached at hearing Madara say “I do”, at knowing without a doubt in his mind that he was now Madara’s and Madara was his, that he had someone in which he could wholly confide his secrets and feelings in, and Tobirama knew he had been blessed well the moment their lips joined, sealing their marital union as those around them cheered and sobbed in the case of his anija. Their marriage, while lovely, of course experienced its own bumps here and there, particularly on matters of legislation and equality within the village, but Tobirama wouldn’t trade it away for the world because a world without Madara at his side was not worth living in.
Yet, as he stared at the white stick resting within his shaking hands, Tobirama feared that the world they had made was going to shatter at any second. Two lines of crimson glared at him with undenying truth, the feeling of an extra, new source of chakra nestled within his own person only confirming the results within his grasp. He had been born as an anomaly not only in appearance but in anatomicalities as well; the midwife had nearly passed out when she caught sight of not only albinism but his newborn self having both male and female genitalia and his father’s reaction hadn’t been much kinder. Few people knew of his condition and those who did typically accepted him no matter his abnormalities, Madara being no exception to that, and as he found himself happily married and being tasked with teaching the up and coming generation, the Senju found the yearning to have children of his own grow with each hair ruffle.
Tobirama knew the likelihood of someone with his condition, rare as it was, being able to carry a child let only father one and had unhappily accepted that he would never be able to have a child of both his and Madara’s making. With this truth in mind, the two of them still practiced safe sex and were content with the moments of parenthood being a mentor allowed them, never feeling compelled to strive for anything more; well, at least, Madara hadn’t shown any interest of having children of their own. Even with their vigilance and cautiousness, they ended slipping up here and there, having drunk too much sake or simply enjoyed feeling one another intimately, flesh to flesh, and now here Tobirama was, standing alone in their shared bathroom, two seconds from imploding as he internally panicked. How could this have happened? They had been so careful! What was Madara going to think?!
Silent, unshed tears threatened to fall down his pale features, the gravity of the situation at hand weighing down on him without any restraint. Madara and he were busy with their village and clan duties, with Tobirama being the advisor to his idiot brother who had been elected hokage somehow, along with being the Uchiha matriarch, and Madara acting as his other advisor and clan head. They had already been married for two years and were financially and emotionally stable as two shinobi could be and would have no trouble affording the costs that came along with having a child. No, Tobirama worried over whether this pregnancy was even viable and if Madara would want the child growing within him. The two of them were happy and content with their childless life, what if Madara only wanted that? He couldn’t give up his child so easily, the chance of having one in itself was a miracle, but he could never imagine living a life without his dark haired Uchiha. This secret was going to be the literal death of him.
*Knock knock*
Soft knocks from the bathroom doorway ripped Tobirama away from his heavy thoughts, the Senju hurried tucking the test into the pocket of his training pants, calling out swiftly, “Enter!”
He was thoroughly relieved when the calm personage of his sister-in-law appeared in the doorway, a look of caution and soft worry conflicting with her beautiful features as she stepped forward, sliding the door closed behind her.
Comforting pools of inky black washed over his form, the Uzumaki princess coming to kneel beside him, “No one saw me enter. It is just us.”
Relief flooded his system once more, a shaky sigh escaping the albino as he ran a hand through his hair for probably the millionth time in that hour alone, “Thank the gods.”
“If I may ask, what is this sudden need for secrecy Tobirama,” Mito questioned calmly, gazing at him with searching eyes. “Has something happened?”
Here goes nothing…
Slowly retrieving the test hidden within his pants pocket, Tobirama shakily deposited it into his sister-in-law’s hands, and if the situation had been different, Tobirama would have revelled in being able to shake Mito into a state of shock as she was now.
The Uzumaki’s now avid attention shifted from the positive pregnancy test to Tobirama, the redhead murmuring with caution, “Are you certain?”
He gave her a weak nod, his nerves growing with each second. “I can sense another source of chakra developing within me. Its size fits with the time frame of the last time Madara and I slept together without protection eight weeks ago.”
“Does Madara know of this,” Mito replied, face growing stoic once more. His lack of an answer had his brother’s wife sighing, placing the test back within Tobirama’s grip, “I see. I figure this pregnancy was neither planned nor expected.”
Tobirama did his best to reign in his fluctuating emotions, the sensor squeezing his eyes shut, “I presumed having a child of our own would never be a reality, considering our circumstances. We have never discussed having children, Mito; what if he does not want to be a father? I-I cannot just dispose of it.”
Mito shifted her form, a comforting hand coming to rest on his shoulder, “While I cannot speak entirely on your husband’s behalf, Tobirama, I know I can say that he would be over the moon to hear you are with child. Madara treasures the clan children, why would he not adore having his own?”
Both he and Madara treasured the children within the Uchiha clan, spending large amounts of time assisting fellow clan members by babysitting their spawn or teaching them various jutsus. Tobirama had often found himself imagining the dark haired children that often swarmed his husband were their children, excited to see their father after a long day. A reality he never thought possible until now.
Pools of wine, shakened with doubt and worry, came to fall upon Mito’s face of comfort and dignity, “How do I even go about telling him? What if he assumes the child is not his?”
She squeezed his shoulder in reassurance, voice smooth as water and warm as midday sun, “He would have to be stupider than he is now to conclude the child within you is the product of adulterous actions, brother. You simply need to be honest with him, just as you always have been; keeping this secret will only complicate things more.”
“Tobirama, I’m home!”
No, no, no, he wasn’t ready, he-!
It was only Mito’s touch that kept Tobirama grounded in that moment of panic, the Uzumaki stating with confidence, “Some things cannot be kept secret Tobirama. Tell him.”
“Tobirama? Is everything alright -?”
Madara’s familiar figure appeared in the bathroom doorway, the Uchiha’s already concerned face only intensifying as he stopped mid sentence, coming to kneel beside Tobirama with worry, “What has happened?”
Standing to her feet with grace, whilst knocking the pregnancy test out of view, Mito greeted the Uchiha clan head with a small smile, “Nothing that will not right itself in time, my friend. Now please excuse me, I promised my husband of mine that I would have his favorite dish prepared for him before he returns.”
Her gaze shifted to Tobirama with skillful ease, stating calmly, “Have faith Tobirama, all will be well.”
With that, the Uzumaki was gone, and the two men were left to themselves, an awkward silence quickly enveloping their persons due to her absence.
It was Madara who spoke first, the Uchiha taking Tobirama’s bare hand in his gloved one, “Are you alright Tobirama?”
Was he alright? He was eight weeks pregnant with a child he was not even sure had been possible until his discovery, one he was not certain that his husband would want. The Senju had numerous duties to fulfill not just as the advisor to the Hokage and as clan matriarch but also as a sensei to his students; he would not be able to assist them in learning for the following months until the child’s subsequent arrival.
Tobirama swallowed the fear attempting to slither up his throat, hand tightening around Madara’s, “Promise me that you will listen to what I have to say before releasing your judgement Madara.”
“What is going? Tobirama-!”
Steeling himself, Tobirama gave his husband a stern glare, “Promise me.”
Madara shifted uneasily in his position beside Tobirama, answering reluctantly, “I promise to listen.”
An agitated sigh left the sensor, Tobirama doing his best to gather his thoughts, “As you know, I have been experiencing fatigue and bouts of sickness these past few weeks. To better understand the reasons behind my condition, I conducted various tests on myself and whilst running these tests, came across a foreign entity within myself.”
His husband stiffened and moved to speak but Tobirama cut him off before a sound could escape him, “Worried that it was unnatural, I began to run more in depth tests to better understand the origin of this foreign entity.”
“In the end, with my symptoms in mind, I conducted a final test to confirm my suspicions. The results have me anxious about your reaction, because it is something I did not think possible of occurring.”
The clan head gazed at him with wariness, fear present in those beautiful pools of midnight black that Tobirama loves to peer into for hours on end, but Madara’s voice is strong with determination, “Whatever it is Tobirama, we will face it together! Hell, that idiot brother of yours will do everything in his power to fix it!”
A frown formed on Tobirama’s face, the sensor retorting quietly, “This is not something that can be healed Madara-.”
“It cannot hurt to at least try,” Madara shouted, his other hand coming to cup Tobirama’s left cheek. “I refuse to let you die laying down you foolish Senju-!”
Chuckling wetly, tears of anxiety and cautious joy blurred his vision, “I am not dying you Uchiha idiot.”
Confliction of relief and confusion waged on Madara’s personage, “You are not? But you said it was unfixable-!”
Tobirama was quick to cut him off, giving the fiery man a firm look, “If you had let me finish before rudely interrupting me, I was going to tell you that the condition I am in cannot be healed but it will fix itself on its own in seven months time you blockhead!”
Black eyes searched his person, clearly scrambling for answers, and the albino groaned in annoyance, “I swear, you can be as dense as my brother at times! I am trying to tell you that I am pregnant, you imbecile!”
Oh kami, what had he done?
Madara froze in his spot beside Tobirama, staring at him with undetectable emotion, and the sensor instantly was sent into a panic at his reaction, “I know we have never officially discussed having children and I know having a child right now while the village is still so young and with us being so busy is not logical but I want to have this child and I will raise it with or without your approval-!”
Rough lips smothering his own cut him off mid-rant, fiery passion burning brightly in the act of intimacy as his husband’s other hand came to cup his right cheek, and after a few moments of quiet, Madara pulled away, joy shining brightly in his tear-blurred eyes, “How could you ever think that I would not want to have a child with the man I love?”
With that, Tobirama fell apart, silent tears rolling down his cheeks as he timidly replied, “A normal man could never do this.“
“Who said I wanted a normal man,” Madara firmly questioned, eyes stern and passionate. “I married a man who is a genius shinobi in his own right, who also happens to have a condition that has gifted us with a chance to have a child of our own flesh when so many others couples dream of such an opportunity!”
“You are not upset,” Tobirama whispered cautiously.
Madara gave him a shining smile and kissed him once more, tears of his own running down his face as his right hand came to rest on the albino’s flat stomach, “I could never be upset over something like this Tobirama. A child is a gift from the gods; I only pray it has your beautiful mind.”
The Senju stifled a sob at the Uchiha’s confession and Madara rested his forehead against Tobirama’s, allowing him to give his husband soft, comforting kisses.
After a few moments, Tobirama was able to reign himself in, giving Madara a small grin, “Hashirama and Izuna are going to be complete nightmares once they learn I am expecting.”
Scoffing, Madara pulled away, though he didn’t move his hand resting on Tobirama’s abdomen, “Those two buffoons are already nightmares in general. All hell will break loose once they hear they will be receiving a niece or nephew within the year.”
A comfortable silence filled the area for a few minutes before Tobirama spoke once more, “I asked that we do not let anyone know of the baby until at least the twelfth week mark, Mito aside of course; I do not want to get anyone excited in case I happen to miscarry.”
“You are not going to miscarry anything,” Madara stated confidently, moving Tobirama to rest his back against his chest whilst other hand came to join his right one. “But I understand your reasoning and agree to wait until you are ready to share this news.”
Tobirama turned his head to look at his husband, murmuring lovingly, “Thank you Madara.”
His husband pecked his lips, replying fondly, “Anything for you, my husband.”
Some secrets were better worth sharing after all.
Ships and their wingmen
Part 2
Read -> Part 1
Because we can't be the only one who ship them. Or those who don't.
.
MinaSaku
In time-travel AU, Sakura will possibly the only one who will not ship it, if only because that will change the future. But casting that aside, Team Minato will do everything in their power to make sure the two adults soon sire a pink-haired, blue-eyed kid or blond-haired, green-eyed kid, or any combination of those colors for that matter.
Kushina will be conflicted whether to pursue Minato and fight her best friend/soul-sister (because Sakura is Kushina in pink hair) or allow Sakura get Minato and keep their relationships as it is. If she chooses latter, she will give up on Minato, simp on Hokage hat instead, and becomes the best damn Hokage Konoha has ever seen. If not, she puts up a good fight, insert-a-lot-of-angst, a heartfelt moment between Sakura and Kushina later simps on Hokage's hat, and becomes the best damn Hokage Konoha has ever seen. Either way, Kushina sooner or later supports MinaSaku, because she doesn't get Minato then only Sakura gets to have him.
Like Ino and Sakura, Inoichi and Sakura become fast friends, even if it starts with Inoichi flirting and Sakura hitting him squarely on his jaw, and the man is excessively protective of his pink-haired friend. He will probably root for KushiMina just so to protect Sakura's chastity. He will give up soon and will make sure no one gets in the way of his OTP.
If it takes place in canon, let's say somehow Minato selectively gets to be revived for extended periodof time for some reason. Or he time-travels to post-war time and finds himself thrown into a loop. Both, in which, MinaSaku is a very slow burn that even Naruto notices the strange air between his dad and his teammate, and everyone comes to conclusion exactly where Naruto had gotten his denseness from. Kakashi ships MinaSaku because it's his father-no-2 and favourite student together, as weird as it sounds. Naruto doesn't ship, at all, because that would make Sakura his step-mother. Most angst in this MinaSaku will be caused by one Naruto Uzumaki. Ino simps for this ship just because Minato is hot, is loosely Sakura's type and she, being a good friend, completely supports her best friend bedding a heartbreaker like Minato.
Tsunade ships because he is a good man.
Konoha council ships because Namikaze genes need to be retained in the village one way or another.
.
HashiSaku
For starters, Tobirama doesn't ship, at all. Hashirama was already very prone to get distracted even without Sakura in the picture, but now with someone of Sakura's colors by his side, it was as if Tobirama got prematurely promoted as the head of Senju clan AND Hokage. Tobirama doesn't appreciate it at all. He subtly tries to get Sakura killed, to ship her overseas without Hashirama noticing, and convince her to marry someone who wasn't tan-skinned, longhaired and a Senju to boot. When all failed, he tries to seduce her himself as a last-ditch effort to help her move on from Hashirama. He only manages to gain a black-eye and a harsh rejection on top of it. Then, it look a while, but he figured she would be a good leader and a competent backup if Hashirama remains distracted in all his future meetings.
Mito is a proud, powerful woman, and she desires strength in things that catches her attention. So when she found Sakura, she wanted her for herself but instead found herself in competition with Hashirama of all people. Regardless to say, they hate each other.
Madara sees Sakura as the second and the last brain cell of the Senju clan, next to Tobirama. He supports HashiSaku if only so his best friend can learn a thing or two about how to use his bright but otherwise inactive brain cell. He is always ready to adopt her into his clan should Senju throw her out, courtesy of Tobirama.
Izuna likes Sakura and if she likes Hashirama, then he will support it. Easy as that.
.
MitoSaku
Madara doesn't care because his best friend is married to not one but two beautiful but powerful beasts of women. Hashirama has no room for complaints.
Hashirama is a third wheel in his own marriage.
Tobirama doesn't know if he ships it or not because his brother is married to a woman who is in love with another woman and that woman insists that they all remain together for the better of future.
Izuna ships, to say at least.
.
TobiSaku
Hashirama is the biggest fan of TobiSaku. He grins his annoying grin in a way that makes everyone present in the room with him blush in embarrassment. He dubbed Sakura as his sister-in-law the moment he saw his brother with her.
Madara doesn't think someone like Tobirama deserves Sakura, but thinks someone like Sakura can persuade Tobirama to chill. It's better for Senju clan in a long run, so he supports their relationship.
Mito simps hard for this ship because she wants Sakura as her sister-in-law. Half of the TobiSaku moments happened because of HashiMito's meddling.
Izuna flirts with Sakura at every chance he could, if only to rile Tobirama. He might like Sakura as a bit more than a friend, but he also finds TobiSaku relationship precious in a passive-agressive way so he doesn't mostly get in their way because they make up to about 65% of his daily entertainment quota which he doesn't wish to lose.
.
MadaSaku
If there's one person who is a die-hard fan of this ship then it's one Izuna Uchiha. He enjoys teasing his older brother at every chance he gets, ruthlessly and sadistically. He enjoys the way his brother softens at the very mention of Sakura and he thinks that is the most precious thing he's seen his older brother do for anyone who's not him. Sakura gets along with Izuna so well that he often thinks she knows him better than he knows himself, and for that he cherishes Sakura as one of his family. His love for MadaSaku stretches so far that he would kill anyone who dares to get in between two of his most important people.
Tobirama ships them because he thinks Sakura will help Madara lose some of the madness inherent in Uchiha clan. It is because of Sakura that Tobirama becomes less wary of Uchihas and warms up to them.
Hashirama jumps at Madara and Sakura everytime they come for a visit, much to his wife's embarassment. Sakura is considered one of the Senju clan, and with her marrying into Uchiha clan, strengthens Senju-Uchiha alliance. Hashirama, like Izuna, is very happy to see Madara at peace and wishes the best for the couple. Like Izuna, he teases Madara mercilessly everytime Madara does something even slightly uncharacteristic of him. Sakura isn't teased often only because her becoming flustered results only in bodily harm.
Mito approves of the pair, if only because it gets her husband's attention away from Madara and his clan. She respects Sakura and knows the Uchiha clan will thrive with her as their matriarch.
.
IzuSaku
Madara doesn't ship it at first because his brother is easily charmed by beautiful women and she looked a little too much like a Uzushio woman. Mito and Madara aren't in the best of the terms, regardless of the alliance. He suspected it to be trap when he saw his brother smile a little too gently, his eye softening a little too much than he was accustomed to seeing. He didn't ship IzuSaku at all because he loves his brother first and foremost. Sakura and he started off in bad terms but he soon discerns her good intentions and her honest reciprocal of feelings for Izuna, so he gives them his blessings and promises his protection.
Tobirama doesn't believe it until he sees it. He thinks she is too good for someone like Izuna, but seeing Izuna happy and content with Sakura, he comes to an understanding that this arrangement does save a lot of women from falling his prey.
Hashirama doesn't hold a particular opinion on Izuna but knows his notorious reputation and thus fears for Sakura's heart. He doesn't get in their way but tries to make sure Sakura is safe. When he is assured Izuna is courting her with intention of marriage, he gives them his blessings as well because Sakura is part of his family.
Mito doesn't understand why Sakura chose someone like Izuna given his reputation, and how Izuna really fell hard for the woman like Sakura.
.
SaiSaku
Sai doesn't have lot of friends to support him, but luckily for him, Sakura has.
It is Ino who digs their relationship. Ino who helps Sai learn a thing or two about women. Ino who helps him learn new ways to impress Sakura (failed everytime). Sai and Ino became close friends the more she stayed around as his part-time trainer/babysitter everytime Sakura is away on a mission/hospital (because Sakura doesn't trust Sai alone without her for long). It is through Ino that they ultimately got together in the end.
Naruto, as if on a clock, becomes sceptical if she didn't see Sasuke in Sai, but that idea goes out of the window everytime Sai opens his pretty mouth. He supports Sai and Sakura because he could. As much as Sai pisses him off, he is still one of his good friends that he treasure, but one he would never admit to about his feelings.
Sasuke never thought his position in Team 7 would be threatened, much less by an ANBU/Root member, and he most definitely didn't think it will be that member who will ultimately date Sakura. As much as he knew the world wouldn't have stopped moving when he left, he also didn't expect new faces to join his team and take what had been promised his. Sakura punches him square on his face when he vocalises his thoughts. Regardless to say, he isn't happy with this arrangement.
Yamato is most pleased to see Sai flourishing as a person instead of a killing machine they were made into. He thinks Sakura is scary and will keep Sai on his toes, but also that she will be patient and guide him on the right path. They couldn't be more different, but he knew they understand each other like no one else.
Yamato and Naruto becomes the best men in SaiSaku wedding, and no sightings of Sasuke is observed anywhere.
.
ShiSaku
Surprisingly, Shisui gets green signal from all the members of team 7. When asked, he is told many reasons ranging from – "You're the only decent Uchiha" to "You're not emotionally dead.", which ultimately means he is approved because he is everything Sakura expects in a man, and that age is hardly a reason of disapproval from them if it is not a problem for Sakura.
Naruto sometimes – particularly on days when Shisui steals their female teammate to spend time with him – think if Shisui had not brainwashed Sakura into giving in to his vile intentions, because that's exactly what his Sharingan is specialized to do, but when Sakura hears a word about this, she always punches him hard enough to make him reconsider his words. Sasuke and Kakashi are smart enough to keep their opinions about her love life to themselves.
If Itachi thought Shisui was annoying when he was not in love, he thinks Shisui is downright nuts when he is in love. Sakura is all he ever talks about, and while Itachi is pleased to see his cousin and Sakura, who's a good friend to him, so happy in love, there's a line that need not be crossed. He is thankful that both make a lovely couple together who can make Uchiha clan a happy place with their shared positivity. But. But, Shisui is also a jealous idiot and those two words never make a good combination. Itachi blesses the couple for all happiness in the world, but he is just not the person they should come to looking for relationship advice whenever one of them (always Shisui) screws up.
You'd think since Shisui is not part of the main house and having no living family of his own, there'll be no family drama surrounding him and his love life, but you're dead wrong. Once Mikoto and Fugaku hear a word about ShiSaku being canon, they call Shisui in, gives him the earful of the lifetime, demands of him to propose marriage to her, and proceed to prepare for the big wedding. Sakura accepts but that's hardly a point, because next thing Shisui knows is getting adopted into the main house. There goes his freedom.
.
KibaSaku
Tsume loves Sakura. She wants to adopt Sakura. Inuzuka clan loves Sakura. KibaSaku is real, so what happens? Tsume threatens to disown Kiba unless he proposes to Sakura and make her one of the pack soon. According to Tsume, Kiba has finally chosen "the one who will make up for his lack-of-thereof brain and strength".
When the word gets out about his entanglement with Sakura, Team 8 is pleased – especially Hinata and Shino. Kurenai looks at him like she doesn't believes him. Shino repeats Tsume's sentiments on the matter. Hinata only smiles in a way that screams 'finally!'.
Team 7 is not happy that their precious teammate is getting it on with someone who smells like dog.
Kurenai who is like a mother to both Sakura and Kiba is happy to help them get started with parenting. It got too awkward to further ask Tsume who only said to "break the bed and let nature play its role". Kurenai will take turns with rest of the Team 8 and Team 7 to babysit many kids that KibaSaku will sire because they are wild. Tsume is proud though.
Tsunade blesses the couple and knows she will enjoy spoiling her many grandchildren rotten. Shizune is only happy for her sister-figure, even if she is a bit worried for the children.
Ino smirks at Sakura like a sly cat, every time they meet, all the way until her friend is happily married. Kiba is a catch, even if he smells like a dog. And they both know it.
.
GaaSaku
Baki cries in joy when GaaSaku reveals their relationship public. He had thought Gaara was a lost cause when it comes to romance. His son-figure made him proud that day.
Temari threatens Sakura if she breaks "her-precious-bean's-fragile-heart", she will see through that her body gets never found in the sand. When it became clear that Sakura was serious about Gaara, Temari crushes the other woman to her chest and cries over how lucky she was to have Gaara as her husband (because there's no way her precious bean, Gaara, is undeserving of someone).
Kankuro breaks down crying, thankful that his little brother Gaara was not asexual and that he only had high expectations of himself because there was no way Sakura wasn't the best bride for Gaara. A match made in heaven, he said. It doesn't help that Kankuro and Sakura are best friends who often conspire ways to make Gaara blush prettily like he does, much to Gaara's chagrin.
Tsunade stans GaaSaku and is aware of the political advantage in their marriage to back up their relationship. Temari marrying into Konoha and Sakura into Sand, is a fair exchange.
Konoha council begs to differ.
Naruto wants to feel betrayed but doesn't because Gaara deserves the love he will get from Sakura, and he knows him and knows her. That doesn't help him from sending threatening letters, dripping on rabbit's blood, to Gaara who isn't alarmed at all and patiently writes back about his feelings concerning his female teammate. Naruto cries like a baby on their wedding because Kazehime is such a fitting title for his precious Sakura-chan.
Sasuke never sees it coming. He is betrayed, but not because Sakura moved on but because it is Gaara she moved on to. He takes personal offence to it, confronts personally about it to her in Suna and Sakura isn't impressed. If Sakura gives him a beating that leaves him in Suna hospital for a week, that's not on Sakura.
Kakashi cannot care less whom his old genin team fucks and marries but he admits he is a bit impressed that Sakura marries Gaara of all people.
.
ShikaSaku
Team 10 is ecstatic when Shikamaru and Sakura makes their relationship public. Ino is on cloud nine when she hears Sakura gets to be official part of Ino-Shika-Cho. She breaks into Sakura's apartment to crush her best friend in a hug that might as well suffocate her to death but a girl gotta express her joy one way or another. She demands Shikamaru to invite Sakura for all future clan get-togethers so Sakura will feel comfortable in future.
Choji is happy for his best friend. He secretly meets with Yoshino to prepare for the big day. He exclusively invites Sakura for all Akimichi parties when he hears about her passion for cooking, even if she's bad at it. It's safe to say Sakura became part of Ino-Shika-Cho even before her marriage to Shikamaru.
When Sasuke hears about it, he corners Shikamaru and inquires about all the intentions Shikamaru has towards his teammate. He might not like Sakura like she once wished to be liked by him, but she was still part of his family that is Team 7 and he cares enough to make sure she doesn't get heart broken the way she had with him. When he gets right answers, he drops his arm against his throat, draws back his kusanagi and walks away like nothing was amiss.
When Naruto hears about it, he pokes fun at Shikamaru for his taste in women – first Temari, now his teammate. To onlookers, it would look like two friends playfully teasing each other, but if you look closely, you'd notice the red of Naruto's eyes, how the grip on Shikamaru's fingers were tad too tight and the way Shikamaru looked like he would rather be anywhere but there. After a measured shake and few more teasing jabs, Naruto returned to his goofy self.
When Kakashi hears about it and comes across him, Shikamaru doesn't let the older man get a word in. With Kakashi, it might as well be chidori to heart so Shikamaru rushed to firmly asserted his very pure, no vile, feelings for his sole female student. By the time he is finished with his monologue, Kakashi has left.
Tsunade is neutral when the news gets to her. As simple as Shikamaru was, he was also not the most committed person so she decides to test Shikamaru before she gave him her blessings.
Temari flips the table when the word reaches Suna. She immediately leaves the village to make sure Shikamaru was truly serious, this time, about her friend. Gaara follows after her because he is still pissed at the certain man for breaking his sister's heart. Kankuro passes the hat to Baki for the meantime and leaves after his siblings to beat certain someone if this is just another ugly fling for him. Also, because he isn't going to miss on a good show.
If some ink tigers pop out of nowhere and attempt on Shikamaru's life or some carnivorous plants tries to taste the meat on his nether region, he doesn't speak of the incidents to anyone, let alone Sakura. It is only after Sakura is pronounced a Nara that the attempts on his life cease.
Daybreak (Madara/Fem!Reader) Ch. 4
FLUFF IS HARD. I'll do better next chapter.
----------------------------------------------------------
Maybe he shouldn’t be having fun or feeling special that somehow, just somewhere in her mind, she managed to remember his favorite food. Needless to say, she also remembered Hashirama’s but mistook it for her brother’s. Even if the Shinobi world was nothing but a fleeting dream for her, she still recalled enough to thaw out his frozen heart. Just like how she neutralized all his hate for the Senjus when she healed his brother and made sure he didn’t die from Tobirama’s fatal attack. He owed her everything, he owed her happiness, and he was selfish. He wanted her for his own. And he’ll make sure he gets her this time.
When Madara proposed an idea to learn more about Y/N because there’s something different to her current liking as he had found there was something different about himself in this time period – he was less bloodthirsty. However, he still found himself enjoying sparring sessions with Hashirama. He hadn’t expected how bold her response was, “that’s stalkerish,” was it? His brows furrowed at that thought. It never occurred to him that wanting to learn about someone was stalkerish. It was probably the way he had worded it.
Hashirama gave him a weird look when she said it was stalkerish. Madara rolled his eyes a little. People change. She’s not going to be a carbon copy of her previous self. But either way, Madara still likes her, maybe a little more than previously, because she’s not afraid to express how she feels. “I hope she doesn’t hold back…” he whispers, primarily to himself, but it seems like her brother caught parts of it.
“What was that, Madara?”
Madara’s face heated up, “I meant,” he cleared his throat a few times, turning away from her curious, prying eyes, “I hope she always expresses what’s on her mind. Don’t be afraid to talk about it,” he smiled seeing her smile. It’s been so long since he’s seen that smile. He wanted more.
“Oh, don’t worry, she’s shameless,” Seiya spoke in such a matter-of-fact that he got a jab to the rib and laughed about it, “I’m kidding, but you kind of are shameless, Y/N, it’s not a bad thing!”
“I don’t think it’s a bad thing,” Madara responded quietly, finishing his share of the food, “the inarizushi is well made.” He smiled gently. He shifted a little, eyeing Hashirama, who seemed very mesmerized by literally everything, which was problematic to his brother and Madara. “Seiya, if I may,” he paused for a second before continuing, “I would like to be her bodyguard; 24/7 wouldn’t hurt. Since she’s had contact with them today, it would be safe to say that they’re aggressive. And your main priority is to keep her safe, and what can I say? The Uchiha Security Firm is strong,” he nodded towards Izuna, who nodded along.
“The Senju firm is equally as strong!” Madara narrowed his dull black orbs in Hashirama’s direction, “if you must, then hire both of us!”
As Madara was ready to object, they heard a clap, not from Seiya. Still, his little sister, eyeing her a little, confusion arising when she seemed delighted with the idea, “that’s a good idea, whoever I don’t like, we can just drop them along the way, yeah, brother?” It seems to Madara that Y/N was enjoying the whole situation, not quite caring for her own life.
“You think this is fun,” Madara’s brows furrowed at Y/N a little. Sure he loved her and all, but he couldn’t help but there was something wrong with how she acted. “May I ask why?”
“I don’t think this is fun, but I’m not afraid to die. I’ve died once. So long as I don’t die in the same manner, it’s fine,” fear crept up on Madara. Did she remember? “Allow me to reiterate. I’ve had vivid nightmares about how I died in my previous life,” his eyes never leaving her as she stood up, waltzing around the living room. Her brother was curious. “Quite frankly, I would like to do everything on my bucket list before coming to my untimely end. As my brother likes to say, ‘live life like you’re going to die tomorrow,’ so I’m going to treat everything as something fun, you don’t have to agree with me, but if you’re going to be my bodyguard, I expect no judgments,” she smiled, it is her life, and he couldn’t control it. But he damn well will make sure she’s safe.
“I don’t have any problems with that, I suppose,” Madara clicked his tongue. This new side of her, he has to adjust to understand more.
“Tell me again, what do you want for this year’s Christmas, dear sister?” Madara turned his attention to the brother, then to her. He had been interested in knowing since prior. Her dream gift was for her crush… Madara shot Hashirama an unresolved glare to return her feelings. That didn’t happen. After a second, when Hashirama caught the glare, Madara cleared his throat and focused his attention on her, watching her tap her lips a little.
“It hasn’t changed; I want a boyfriend for Christmas. Granted, no one wants a disabled girl, but I, for one, would like to say I’m not handicapped just because I can’t see color. I’m just…” there was a long, awkward pause, “special, in a good way.”  A sly grin snuck on Madara’s face, a boyfriend, huh?
To continue my Hashimada Romeo & Juliet au here (warning, this is gonna be a mash of canon and R&J so it’s not gonna be accurate to either. Warning, this is looooong) , after finding out each other’s family names, both are incredibly torn as to what to do next. Hashirama goes to meet Madara and tries to persuade him that they can make it work and they can maybe even create peace between both families. But Madara is more pessimistic and unwilling to go against his family. Both of them had suspected who each other were ever since the party but now that it’s out in the open, Madara insists they can’t ignore it anymore
He doesn’t directly say no to Hashirama but still insists he leaves before he’s caught and the fate of their relationship hangs precariously in the air. Madara tries his best to avoid Hashiramas attempts to meet him after that until he can’t and they finally relent and reunite and admit to each other that their feelings for the other are much more intense than a simple adolescent crush. The continue to meet and Tobirama finds out and confronts Hashirama. He is angry but underneath that anger is very clear fear and worry over his brothers safety.
Wanting to end it once and for all (even though he knows Hashirama will hate him for it) Tobirama heads to the Uchiha compound to confront Madara in a duel but is met by Izuna instead. They fight and it’s a public spectacle. Though they are well matched, both Butsuma and Tajima both show up on the scene and similar to canon, fight and attempt to kill each others son (Tajima aiming for Tobirama and Butsuma towards Izuna) but before the fatal blows can hit either of them, Madara and Hashirama show up to block the blows. Insisting that regardless of the situation, neither will accept any attempt on their little brothers life. Madara realizes at that moment that there really is no hope for his relationship with Hashirama and officially ends it even as Hashirama tries to persuade him that they can still work.
Butsuma, realizing what Hashirama has been doing with Madara, furiously and violently punishes him, Tobirama trying and failing to protect his brother. After a few weeks where Hashirama is allowed to heal, Butsuma confronts him again and tells him that there’s only one way Hashirama can make up for his betrayal’ and that is to marry Mito Uzumaki from the Uzumaki clan. With the plan of forming a powerful enough alliance that they can defeat the Uchiha once and for all. Hashirama is horrified and refuses but Butsuma threatens him by saying that if Hashirama does not go through with it, Tobirama will be forced to take his place
Unwilling to let Tobirama suffer for his mistakes, Hashirama agrees to it. Tobirama tries to convince Hashirama to let him take his place instead but Hashirama refuses. Saying that his little brother has a brighter future if he remains Untethered to their fathers influence while Hashirama doesn’t really see a future for himself anymore. Knowing that Hashirama isn’t just going to marry Mito and allow the alliance to go through and potentially destroy the Uchiha clan and cause more bloodshed, Tobirama instinctively knows that his brother has a plan that’s not going to end well for himself and in his desperation, seeks out Madara.
He is again met with Izuna instead who wants to kill him but Tobirama pleads for Izuna to let him see Madara and if Izuna still wants to kill him afterwards, Tobirama won’t stop him. Izuna realizing that Tobirama means no harm, let’s him meet Madara.
Going back to Hashirama, Tobirama is right in his belief that Hashirama doesn’t plan to let Butsumas plans go smoothly. He’s going to marry Mito but on their wedding night he will kill himself, an act that will anger the Uzumaki clan and disgrace the Senju and most definitely cause their alliance to break apart (finding out that the son of the clan you’re planning to work with would rather die then be married in an alliance is sort off incredibly insulting)
But Mito finds out Hashiramas plans. She’s not exactly happy with her clans plans either, especially the prospect of potentially annihilating the Uchiha and spilling so much innocent blood. But she’s also not willing to allow Hashirama to kill himself and instead persuades him to let her help. By giving him a potion that will make Hashirama appear dead instead. And afterwards, both of them can run away together before parting ways and live a life separated from the shackles of both their clans. Hashirama agrees, largely because this way, he can still protect Tobirama from the shadows and possibly even secretly keep in contact with him and potentially even find a way to achieve peace, far away from Butsumas control.
Meanwhile, Tobirama has managed to meet Madara and explain the situation.
Especially the part where he suspects Hashiramas going to do something to break the alliance at the cost of himself. Madara is horrified and agrees to his assessment. All three of them make a detailed plan to ‘kidnap’ Hashirama before he can go through with whatever he’s planning and run away together all four of them.
But they take too long. News reaches them that Hashirama and Mitos marriage ceremony has gone through but both of them think they can still make it in time to put their plan into action and get Hashirama out of there. But when they arrive to the Uzumaki compound where the married couple was meant to spend their first night, they arrive just in time to find out the horrible news that Hashirama was dead by “suicide”. Devastated, amidst the fighting between the Uzumaki clan and the Senju clan over what what Hashirama had just done, all three of them Manage to sneak into the room where Hashiramas ‘body’ was laid. Madara and Tobirama both cry and mourn over him and agonized over how they’d been too late.
Overcome with heartbreak, Madara pulls out his sword with the intention to run himself through with it, but before he can, suddenly he feels a fist weakly grasp his arm and both Tobirama and Madara look down to see Hashirama blinking up at them both. His stare dazed and confused but very much alive. Both Tobirama and Madara are overjoyed and sob with relief. It’s at that moment that Mito comes into the room and Izuna, Madara and Tobirama all freeze until Mito explains the plan to them but also tell them they have to leave right now to avoid suspicion and to come back after midnight for her and Hashirama. She gives Hashirama another dose of the potion so that he’ll still look dead for a few more hours.
But that night, Tobirama, Madara and Izuna sneak back into the room Hashiramas ‘body’ was kept and carry him away, followed closely by Mito. The story ends with Hashirama waking up surrounded by both Tobirama and Madara who are ecstatic that he’s awake and Madara promises he’ll never leave Hashirama ever again
There might be an epilogue taking place years later that shows how Hashirama and Madara have both become coleaders of a coalition formed by clans and groups of individuals who are interested in peace. The Nara clan, the Yamanaki clan, the aburame, the akimichi, the Inuzuka and even the Hyuga clan. Though the last one mostly consists of the branch house group (the one Neji is from). Some members of the Uzumaki clan who had also joined them, manage to find away to break the cursed seals that had allowed the main house to control the branch house (Uzumaki clan are famously experts in seals. If anyone can find a way to break the cursed seal, it’s them)
Their numbers grow day by day and the coalition of so many different clans make them particularly strong and a legitimate threat to the more powerful Uchiha and senju clan (and what’s left of the Hyuga clan) especially since there are groups of individuals from both clans who have defected to join Hashirama and Madara and their group. It ends with Hashirama and Tobirama both talking about how close they are to achieving the peace they had dreamed off and that as long as they’re together, nothing is impossible
Since I am in a Soulmate AU mood at the moment how about some headcanons for the "You have the name of your soulmate written on one wrist and the name of your worst enemy on the other and you don't know which is which" AU with Tobirama. He however has only one name on his wrist. It's "[Name] Uchiha".
Tobirama and Uchiha reader always gives me some vibes.
Tw: Yandere themes, possessive thinking, possessive behavior, disliking, heavy arguments
Soulmate Hc’s with an Uchiha
Tumblr media
🌊The moment he was born his life was, for him at least, ruined. It was rare to be born with a soulmate in the first place, but how could the world do this to him? His clan had been at first confused when he only had one name engraved on his wrist. “(y/n) Uchiha”. If there would have been two names on his wrists many would have naturally assumed that this meant that you must have been his worst enemy. But there was only one name. But eventually the eldest came up with a few solutions. First one, his soulmate was at the same time his worst enemy. Second one, he might not have something like a worst enemy.
🌊Tobirama hated this. He was insulted upon learning that an Uchiha was his soulmate. Why did it have to be an Uchiha from all the other possibilities? He wished he would have never been destined to have a soulmate. His personal feelings aside there were a lot more troubles to come. Since he had your name engraved on his wrist that meant you had too. But that didn’t mean that you hadn’t also the name of your worst enemy engraved on your other wrist. And given the situation you would just assume that he was your worst enemy. And if you would get killed somehow he would suffer too. This situation wasn’t fair.
🌊His whole clan panicked because of this. Tobirama was a great warrior and losing him would be a huge disaster, especially since he was Hashirama’s brother. The Uchiha clan might use this to their advantage if they would find out or even worse he might become a traitor. Tobirama knew he would never do that, but the bond of soulmates was strong and there had been stories of people turning their back on their own people to be with their soulmate.
🌊Years passed by and Tobirama couldn’t help, but fear for you. Fearing that you might get killed or even worse, he would kill you. He hated himself for this, but you were his soulmate. Every time he was on the battlefield his eyes always searched unconsciously for you. He didn’t know how you looked like, but people in his clan who had been born with soulmates had told him that you would feel a special pull towards your soulmate.
🌊And one day he found you. It was the battle after he had killed Madara’s little brother when he met you. One of his men came during the battle running to him, telling him that there was one specific warrior who had slaughtered so far every single one of his men who came across them and seemed to walk in his direction. Tobirama didn’t give it much thought at first. He thought it was probably someone who wanted to avenge someone he had killed. But when he saw you coming towards him he kind of froze.
🌊You were currently fighting your way through to him. After the news had settled that he was the one who had killed Izuna Madara had been the one who wanted to kill him personally. But since his name was engraved on your wrist and you believed that this must mean that he’s your worst enemy you had begged him to kill him yourself. And Madara had agreed. And when you had spotted him you had instantly felt something, but due to the adrenaline pumping through your veins and concentrating on not getting killed by the people who tried to stop you you hadn’t too much time on focusing on this feeling.
🌊But Tobirama did. He felt the strong attachment to you the moment he saw you and if you wouldn’t have killed his people then and there he would have even admired the way you moved and turned around to slaughter everyone in your way. You were a strong one and it didn’t take you long until you reached him. And from the way you looked at him he knew you had come to kill him. That meant that you must have two names on your wrists. He didn’t even got the chance to tell you that you had misunderstood everything because the next moment you jumped to him and started attacking him. You didn’t give him a chance to speak, he was too busily dodging your attacks, not willing to hurt you. He couldn’t bring himself to it. You seemed a bit hesitant too, but were still driven by the belief that he was your worst enemy.
🌊Tobirama was distracted and not willing to hurt you which is why it didn’t take long for you to take him down and lift your sword to kill him. “Stop it you fool! I’m your soulmate!” You stopped when hearing this and gave him a confused and shocked expression. To prove it to you Tobirama quickly lifted up his sleeves and showed you his wrists. Your eyes widened when you only saw one name on his wrist, your name. “What does this mean? Why do you only have one name on your wrist?”
🌊And then Tobirama told you about the two theories his clan had made for this. You on the other hand paled when hearing this, stepping back. A Senju was your soulmate?! And also the one who Madara wanted dead for killing his younger brother?! But now that you focused closer on him you also felt the attachment towards him. No! No! No! Not a Senju! You didn’t know what to do so you just left him. He was your soulmate and your clan respected soulmates and had promised to never kill someone’s soulmate from the clan. But you weren’t too sure if this would count for this too. It was so ironical. The Senju’s and Uchiha’s were enemies to death, but you were the soulmate of one of them. In that moment you felt hopeless. You would lose your soulmate. No way that Madara would let him live. And that meant you would have to suffer greatly for the rest of your life.
🌊But it seemed like destiny wanted you to be together because shortly after your clans united with each other and the Village Hidden In The Leafs was born. That also meant that it wasn’t necessary anymore to hide the fact that the both of you were soulmates. Tobirama’s clan already knew that, but for your clan it was a shock to find out that he was actually your soulmate.
🌊Your clan had a harder time to accept that than Tobirama’s clan since they had known from very early on that he had an Uchiha as his soulmate. But your clan had with two names on your wrist born assumed that he must be your enemy. But now that they were united they decided to accept it even though some members had troubles with it.
🌊Both of you couldn’t stand each other, years of rivalry between your clans didn’t disappear from one day to the other. Both of you were basically forced to spend time together and constantly glared at each other. As soon as one of you pissed the other off it ended in a huge argument where both of you just snapped at each other. The fact that both of you were so prideful didn’t help in the least and often people would have to separate the two of you because sometimes it looked like you would jump on each other’s throat if they wouldn’t.
🌊You oftenen yelled at him that you should have just killed him that day and Tobirama kept cursing that you must be indeed his worst enemy and soulmate because you made his life a living hell. Honestly, your clans had almost no hopes that the both of you would ever get along.
🌊Both of you are prideful and because of your clan’s pasts it’s understandable that you can’t stand each other. You need time, a lot of time and help from other people to somehow get along with each other. This will most likely be a love-hate relationship you’ll have so even after accepting each other there will still be many times where the both of you will yell and curse at each other and no one of you is willing to back off in such moments since, as mentioned, the both of you possess a huge amount of pride.
🌊One last thing, don’t expect Tobirama to just ignore the other name on your wrist. Even though your relationship is like a roller coaster you’re still his soulmate. He’ll find that person who’s written down on your wrist and will make sure that they’ll never get anywhere near you. He wants to make sure that they can’t harm you and he was never the type to go easy on people who endanger his darling so you can probably anticipate what will happen to your worst enemy.
The IzuTobi Prequel
Prequel to this post, which I’ve taken to calling the “Red Eyes = Spouse Material” AU.
WARNING: contains a reference to worries/fears of sexual coercion.
Like, okay, they did not know that Tobirama had red eyes at first. They weren't close enough on the river for Izuna to see, since he didn't have Sharingan yet, while Tajima and Madara were looking at their respective opponents, not Tobirama.
Then, once they were in their early teens, and Izuna already had his Sharingan, they met on the battlefield for the first time, and Izuna saw Tobirama's eyes. Sure, Tobirama wouldn't meet his gaze, but Izuna could still see him.
And Izuna, as is only natural, went to Madara to ask 'hey uhhhhhhhhh one of our enemies is actually Amaterasu-blessed, what do.'
And Madara's just like '!!!!!' because hey actually this is great news everybody knows that the first step upon meeting an unmarried stranger with red eyes is to figure out who the best person to court them is, they can get a marriage alliance out of this to end the bloodshed and child death! Even the Elders can't argue against having a clan marriage to an Amaterasu-blessed indivi--
They object.
Well, Tajima objects.
Madara and Izuna bring the issue to him, both pretty excited about doing the whole "arranged engagement in the early teens, actual marriage at twenty or so" thing as a way to stop killing kids but Nope! For a variety of reasons, most of which boil down on Tajima's side to "the Senju have killed three of my children, I have no interest in taking in one of their own," the plan is shot down.
Madara and Izuna are naturally devastated but keep an eye out for like. A chance. To slip the info to Tobirama or Hashirama so they're at least aware of the possibility for when Tajima dies, in case Butsuma is more open to it?
I can't decide if they actually manage to set up a Secret Meeting prior to their dads' deaths, but I'm leaning towards 'no.'
(In this plot, Izuna is still wary of the Senju, but much more open to the idea of peace on account of Auspicious Omens Are Here.)
Anyway, Tajima dies first, I think, and Madara's first act as Clan Head is to send Hashirama a request by hawk for a private meeting. Hashirama is still only heir, not Clan Head, but Butsuma is ill (infected wound, I think), so Hashirama has the option of accepting this.
They meet, and Madara explains that he can sway most of the clan into an alliance--not just an armistice, but an actual alliance, possibly even establish that village they talked about as kids--if they can marry Tobirama into the Uchiha.
"Does it have to be Tobirama?" Hashirama asks, because he's not the best brother, but he's good enough to know that Tobirama hates the idea of getting married.
"Yes," Madara says, and then explains that it's all in the eyes, that this is a deeply spiritual thing to the clan and while some of the more militant elders may object, most of the clan will take the red eyes as a sign that this is intended to happen.
And Hashirama is quiet, and then asks if a marriage would require Tobirama to sire any children.
"We're not going to try to steal a kekkei genkai."
"That's not it."
"...wait, does he prefer men? We can--we can make that happen. If it's... hell, in that case it might work better, he could marry me or Izuna, direct connection to the main house, skip the issue of heirs and--"
"No, that's not... not it. But it makes me feel better to know that. I'll have to run it past him."
Tobirama is VERY ace and Hashirama had strict plans to respect that so he's trying to feel out if consummation would be required, or if a kiss for the wedding and then cohabitation would be enough.
Internal logic is "I want peace but not at the expense of handing my brother over for coerced marital rape where he thinks he can't say no without restarting the war."
He manages to get the agreement that the Uchiha weren't looking to pressure Tobirama into any sex-related things, though Madara still thinks it's a matter of Bloodline Protection and that Hashirama is worried about, like, someone trying to steal surplus semen or something.
Hashirama goes home and outlines it to Tobirama, who is very ??? about the whole thing but willing to at least consider it after Hashirama explains the basic requirements and how he confirmed that sexual relations aren't necessary. Hashirama floats it past Butsuma as a Theoretical Exercise, and is shot down.
So, Hashirama sends Madara a letter to the effect of "Our esteemed Clan Head says no, but we'll keep it in mind [insert veiled implication that Butsuma's dying anyway here]."
Madara and Hashirama have always kinda held back against each other, but now Tobirama and Izuna are also holding back the teensiest bit, just enough that nobody can be sure (and tell Butsuma or and Elder about it).
Well, Touka notices, but her first resort is "ask Tobirama to his face" and second resort is "bother Hashirama about it" so she gets the rundown on how Madara and Izuna are angling to get a political marriage with Tobirama since his eyes are Apparently a spiritual matter to the Uchiha as a whole.
Obviously, Butsuma dies, and Hashirama then immediately sends Madara a letter like "HEY so I'm Clan Head now, here's a nice inn located in neutral territory, bring your brother and an advisor, I'll do the same, let's hammer out a contract ASAP."
So it's Hashirama, Tobirama, and Touka on one side, Madara, Izuna, and Hikaku on the other.
Tobirama explains that he refuses to engage in sexual relations with anyone he marries (internally he's thinking that he might eventually take interest if he gets comfortable enough, but overall the entire concept is a little disgusting to him, and he doesn't want anyone to think they can convince him to do it, so he takes a hardline stance during the marriage contract negotiation process), but is open to his marriage partner engaging in an extramarital affair for a period of time in order to secure an heir.
"I promise we're not trying to steal your--" "Madara. Look at me. I do not like sex, and have never had any intention to engage in the activity with anyone, Uchiha or Senju or any clan at all. I had no plans for marriage, ever. The only reason I am opening myself to this one is because I value the opportunity for peace." "...oh."
So, you know, that's out in the open now, but it actually makes it easier to negotiate because they now know why he's uncomfortable with the idea of marriage, so other things (like the cohabitation and dowry and whatnot) can be discussed without people getting resentful about the other party not trusting them with genetic material. Hashirama and Madara get really excited about the whole village idea again, in part because Hashirama wants his brother to be able to visit Really Easily.
At one point they ask Tobirama who he wants to marry, if there's anyone he's interested in? Male or female? What ages is he comfortable with? Main line would be most politically expedient, but--
And he's just like "I know Izuna best, as my rival, and I've taken note of enough recently to know he's not a terrible person, at least as far as any shinobi can be 'good.' If Izuna is open to it, then I would like to discuss what cohabitation would look like between us. Should our expectations of daily life line up well enough, then I imagine that would be optimal."
Izuna's torn, because Amaterasu-blessed, but also he'd kind of been hoping for a Real Marriage with Affection and Children. Touka loudly suggests they take a recess and let Tobirama and Izuna talk in private for a bit.
Izuna manages to get across his personal worries, and Tobirama laughs and says that he actually loves children and was planning to take on plenty of students. "If you don't like the option of the extramarital affair for a child, we could always adopt. As for affection... I've been told I cling like an eel in my sleep, if that suggests anything."
"So if I grew enough feelings that I wanted, like... a good morning kiss or something..." "Quite frankly, my feelings on kissing in general are pretty neutral. It's a little strange, but I could engage with it, once a rapport is built. Heavy petting is distasteful, however, and anything past that..."
And Izuna listens to all that like "Oh. Okay, I will be able to Acquire Cuddles."
Then they discuss the whole 'what do we anticipate out of cohabitation' thing, like pets and cleanliness standards and what spare rooms are for and what goes on in the basement and allergies. It matches up... not perfectly, really, but close enough that they can make it work. They shake hands like the nerds they are and call their families back in and say they've decided it'll work so let's get that paperwork drawn up and start planning a wedding.
Aaaaaaaaaaand then Zetsu kills Izuna and convinces Madara that it was Tobirama's fault so he loses the plot (or, well, finds the canon plot, really).
I'm happy to imagine Tobirama and Izuna on a couch in their house, Izuna halfway asleep and leaning his head on Tobirama's shoulder, while Tobirama's got on a pair of glasses and is reading a book.
Just. Really domestic.
Cutesy.
IDK I feel like they just end up as pleasant roommates who don't necessarily ignore each other, but are well aware of the fact that they entered into this arrangement with non-romance expectations, and they're both okay with that.
They take dinner together, talk shop, try to engage with each other's hobbies, go to events as each other's default plus-one...
It’s Nice
When and why do you think Madara gave up the dream of the village, or did he have it in the first place? Since its implied that Hashirama tired to make peace the second he became clan head only for Madara to refuse him until Izuna's death. Why do you think it took Madara so long to agree when he dreamt of it with Hashirama when they were young. Or do you think that he was just humoring Hashirama when they were young and never had that dream?
Ooh I have a lot of thoughts on this! Okay, so first of all I whole-heartedly believe Madara and Hashirama shared the same dream when they were young. I’d even argue that Madara started to have it first. In Hashirama’s flashbacks (which my god, I wish we had Madara’s perspective on that so much) to me it seems like he’s frustrated with the fighting and the war but can’t quite vocalize the idea of peace. It’s when he meets back up with Madara and Madara tells him to trust someone you need to know their guts and presents that as the unlikely but ultimate way to make peace that Hashirama latches onto the idea and then they develop the idea for the village specifically together until it becomes their dream, and once Madara abandons it, becomes “only” Hashirama’s.
As for why Madara didn’t agree immediately when he became clan head, I have different two different theories, and a whole lot of realisitc overlooked complications. The first and most bitter theory is at this point in the overall narrative the ‘Uchiha are genetically pre-dispositioned to evil’ theme has picked up steam and the reincarnation reveal is right around the corner. To make Naruto’s ultimate triumph of ‘winning Sasuke back to the side of good’ the most meaningful, Hashirama and Madara (and Asura and Indra before them) had to fail by the narrative design. Naruto is the child of prophecy and the reincarnation of ninja jesus, he’s the Most Special right now. None of this is helped by the fact that we don’t get Madara’s side. We don’t know why Madara refused peace. If that was explained, if Madara even referenced it in his fight with Hashirama I would be less bitter and more inclined to believe there was actual narrative weight in that decision. But it’s not and while I love part 1 baby Naruto with all my heart, ever since the child of prophecy plot point was brought up and all throughout the war arc I am most happy when we are not following him because the world bends to accommodate him as the mc more than usual at the detriment to other characters.
Now for a not bitter theory, with the scraps were given and a lot of guessing lol. Madara’s decision not to accept peace immediately once he becomes clan head, should narratively tie into why he broke off his friendship with Hashirama in the first place. We know the river confrontation happened, but we don’t know how the Uchiha discovered was meeting Hashirama, or their reaction to it. Personally, I love good dad Tajima, but realistically I think his reaction would be similar to Butsuma’s. Madara would be threatened with being labeled a traitor to the clan. However, the real crux for me would be Izuna. Izuna is Madara’s main priority from what we can tell. If Tajima suggested, or threatened, that Madara’s meetings with Hashirama would directly lead to Izuna’s death...I can see that being a greater fear for him. Neither Madara or Hashirama would want to be banished from their clans but the knowledge that his friendship with Hashirama was the cause of his brother’s death would be the single worst outcome for Madara. Cue the actual river confrontation, with Tobirama and Izuna clashing and then both dads trying to kill the other’s kid that was Madara’s worst-case come true. I don’t think he went into the confrontation with the intention of breaking his friendship with Hashirama. They both tried to leave early to prevent the confrontation after all. But when it happened and Madara was faced with that...he did the only thing he could think to do to protect his brother even at the cost of his own happiness. The agony of that choice was the Sharingan moment for me. From there it gets blurry but the way I see Madara is he felt he couldn’t go back on that decision and he internalized it. He made it and getting close to Hashirama again, listening to him and accepting peace, would still ultimately lead to his brother’s death. This could explain why after Izuna died, he gave it one last go and when he was defeated ultimately accepted peace. His worst case had come true. Izuna’s dead and, in a twist of fate, he died because Madara chose to not to accept Hashirama’s friendship when he could.
The above is kind of my “main” theory, directly from canon explanation. It gets complicated by other ideas that weren’t addressed at all, but would reasonably come up if the narrative was focused on this time rather than Hashirama’s entire backstory being just that, a backstory. We know the Uchiha and Senju had been at war for generations and the overall terrible conditions of the Warring State Period as well as how ninja clans were hired as mercenaries...beyond that...there’s not a lot. A major consideration to Madara not accepting peace should be the political climate. Were there multiple daimyos (I ask this because the Warring States period was analogous to Japan’s Sengoku period and there were multiple daimyos fighting for power. Who would have the money/need to hire multiple clans to fight against each other if there was just one?) was there just one? Madara is the leader of a clan but he can’t just decide to do things if it would possibly jeopardize the Uchiha’s ability to work, get paid, and eat. Then you have the politics of the clans themselves. There were Uchiha defectors and they were at least willing to accept peace, but we get no indication about the clan’s changing attitude towards the Senju or peace. After being grievously injured, Izuna was still against it. There could have been a group that was completely anti-peace and a group that was pro-peace and how would Madara reconcile with that especially if he wasn’t a beloved leader? I do think Madara as clan head could make the decision ‘we’re making peace with the Senju’ but then forcing two enemy clans to cohabitate that hate each other...even if they were tired of war Madara would be risking his clan’s wellbeing on Hashirama’s word. I think Madara could believe Hashirama but the rest of the Senju? That’s a different question altogether and raises it’s own concerns.
The concept of making peace and creating the village is a complicated matter, much more so than two boys declaring they’ll be the strongest so everyone has to listen to them. I really think this point in the narrative just kind of...had to exist with the way Kishi wrote the story esp with the upcoming Indra/Ashura parallels. Realistically there would have been a lot of reasons Madara couldn’t immediately accept peace even if he wanted to. These could have been hinted at, but because I think the ultimate goals of the backstory was 1. to lay out Madara’s villain origin and 2. to hint at Hashirama failed where Naruto will succeed and all of this has to be delivered as quickly and effectively as possible, those other possible reasons weren’t explored. I would have liked a line or two of dialogue between Hashirama and Madara about this, especially whenever Madara mentions Konoha isn’t his dream and ground it in realistic obstacles rather than ‘space alien goddess’ will manipulating him for x amount of time’ but...you know.
Hashirama and Madara’s relationship was well developed and great, but Naruto suffers the mot imo when realistic longstanding problems come up, especially if they’re problems caused by historical events or the current socio-political climate. The biggest evidence of this is...what were the great shinobi wars about? Why did they start? What were they fought over? When did they end? What were their consequences? It’s...surprisingly hard to answer these vital questions and “why didn’t Madara immediately accept peace?” ultimately falls into the same category for me.
This is all from Madara’s perspective and tbh I could write a whole thing about why Hashirama was so gung-ho about immediate peace and the pro/cons of that but this is already way too long lol.
Heiwa Anthologies
Tumblr media
Synopsis:  The Heiwa clan was engulfed in exaggerated rumors of being man eaters. But as years passed and the women continued to steal men from various clans, they were risking war. The Fire Daimyo stepped in to establish the rules for the clan. If they wanted a husband from a rival clan, they had to duel and win. These are the stories of the men that were challenged and of the women who were brave enough to do it. Thanks to @pinkbegonias for editing this for me <3.
Warning: Contains Original female characters, Explicit Smut, and pregnancy sex. Read at your discretion. DONT send hate for writing OCs I will not entertain it and I swear you will get blocked.
------------------
In Fire Country, there were a variety of clans. First, there were the noble clans that were given land by the Fire Daimyo himself that included the Uchiha, Akimichi, Hyuuga, and of course the Senju. Everyone else was a minor clan that occupied the land, some of the those were exceptionally gifted and had their bloodlines that didn’t include a dojutsu like the Nara and the Hatake clan with their white chakra. But none of them were as strange as the Heiwa clan. They say that the clan came from a minor island from the oceans of the Country of Water. The rumors state they were wicked mermaids who became humans and had a thirst for human meat that’s why they settled in Fire country when their meat source became rare on their isolated island.
Tobirama didn’t know the truth behind these speculations, but what he did care about was the facts. The facts were the Heiwa clan was a clan of women. Nobody knew where they resided exactly, and their exact location was a mystery for decades. They didn’t have notable bloodline or any dojutsu that made them fearsome. No, what gained them notoriety was their habit of stealing men. Which is exactly what it sounds like. A hundred years ago the tales first spread like fire throughout the country about a ruthless kunoichi who had stolen away a member of a clan. And they never saw him again. Many had dismissed the claims because if a shinobi could get kidnapped by a woman of all things then he wasn’t a man from the start. But that was just the start. Men were kidnapped throughout the years, married, engaged, or spoken for it didn’t matter. If you were a man of marrying age you were a prime target. It caused strife throughout the regions, marriages that were formed for political connections lost their main source of reconciliation.
Now, this was an issue for minor clans or civilian nobles, but as far as he knew the women of Heiwa never tried to steal a member from one of the noble shinobi clans. Which is why he suspected they were able to get away for so long without repercussions. And then fifty years ago, a Daimyo declared that the women of Heiwa had a right to challenge any man for their hand. And if they won then the man was obligated to the mercy of the Heiwa clan. Many were shocked at the new ruling and many gossiped that this anonymous heir who became the new lord was actually one of the sons from the women of Heiwa. Why else would he rule in favor of such a bizarre clan?
Tobirama had to admit that if the previous Daimyo’s rumored origins were true then the Heiwa had pulled off a political scheme like no other. The Senjus didn’t really gamble amongst the nobles despite being nobles themselves. They were more warriors than anything, but even he realized that they solved their legitimacy issues without spilling any blood. If only the solutions were as simple for their ongoing war against the Uchiha. However, this ingenious law came with a price, no longer were the women allowed to steal any men they liked. First, they had to be unattached, of age, and any man with prior commitments was to be returned to their original clan.
Still, it was no loss to the clan, their reputation grew even more curious. There were tales of women having multiple male concubines along with their legal husbands. A village where only women ruled and no strange men were welcomed unless they were stolen. Again, he didn’t know if it was true and honestly, he didn’t care. They were just another clan in the country as long as they didn’t side with the Uchiha, he had no animosity against them.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the opinion of every other male. Recently the sightings of the women whispered about their exotic and out worldly beauty. It seemed like they didn’t just have women from the Fire Country, it appeared their clan was a melting pot. There were darker-skinned women like from the Country of Clouds but sported a Heiwa banner. It was a curious symbol involving a water lily, nothing that inspired fear. But then again with a name like Heiwa (peace) it wasn’t their intention in the first place. But back to the women, they gained a reputation of lewdness and beauty that gave them an aura of unattainableness. And so, among the men, it became a symbol of your worth to be challenged. And even better win and live to tell the tale. Last he heard a man from the Hatake clan that won became an overnight sensation. Whereas before he was just a foot soldier among his people, now nobles and clans from across countries were trying to build alliances with him. Regrettably, for him, the woman he defeated was so angry with him for entertaining the proposals she poisoned him and dragged his half-conscious body back to her clan. The Hatake clan still didn’t know whether their clansman was even alive.
Even among the Senju, there were quite a few teenage boys who would entertain the notions of being challenged. It was a romantic notion amongst a period that was filled with tragic losses and bloodstains. Tobirama didn’t want to burst their bubbles, he thought it was highly unlikely that the women would challenge any of the clans feuding right now. There were no records of Uchiha men or Senju men being confronted. Though, there was an Akimichi boy who had been recently reclaimed by his clan who stated he was permitted to seek out his father’s clan if he so chose. The Hyuuga on the other hand publicly denounced the Heiwa, calling them a clan of “whores”. Well, they didn’t exactly call them “whores” they were too sophisticated to stoop to such a level, but it was what they implied.
In Tobirama’s opinion, it was just a plot to dissuade any of the women from challenging Hyuuga men, they probably didn’t want the Byakugan in another clan’s hand. It worked because none of the Hyuuga men were challenged either.
As for himself, he liked the idea of being challenged. The thought that someone would entertain a duel with him without any consequences resulting in war was quite a revelation to him. But the thought of being married to a woman, well he didn’t know what to think of it honestly. Many of the Senju women described him as a Tundra wolf. He was beautiful and wild, but none wanted to get close fearing his temperament. Thus, he had limited experiences with women despite being of age for several years now. He didn’t entertain such thoughts either too busy trying to survive the war and protecting his people. Hell, due to his lack of interaction he couldn’t even safely say he liked women at all. The only women he constantly interacted with were Toka and Mito. And none of them were available to him. One was promised to one of his distant cousins and the other was infatuated with his anija.
So, in all except for the facts and reports he read of the Heiwa clan, Tobirama’s mind was occupied by things that took far more precedence than a clan he probably wouldn’t interact with.
But in hindsight, Tobirama really should have done his proper research. Because if he did, he probably wouldn’t be in this predicament right now.
It was a bright afternoon and the field was filled with wildflowers, not the type of setting you would have thought of that involved a bloody battlefield. But in a few hours, Uchiha and Senju alike surrounded the area, ready to fight to the death. Tobirama cut through his enemy, slaughtering Uchihas one by one. Until he happened upon his sworn enemy, Uchiha Izuna. It was a battle that felt like hours rather minutes. Both desperately trying to outmaneuver the other before Tobirama was finally able to get the jump on him.
“Water release! Water Severing Wave!” he called out as an enormous wave crashed down on the battlefield. The water’s collateral damage was headed towards the field were many Uchihas were fighting.
Tobirama looked around before he found a slouched Izuna on the ground, he quickly pulled out his sword to rush him. With adrenaline pumping, he didn’t hesitate to put an end to the collapsed man. However, just as he was finally about to make his move, out of sheer instincts he was able to dodge the jutsu aimed in his direction. Tobirama backflipped away, a few hundred feet away just as a bolt of lightning crashed down on the ground where he stood a minute ago. Since there was water everywhere, it acted as a perfect conductor for the lightning jutsu. Where the few men who survived his water jutsu stood, they now collapsed as they dealt with the voltage.
Tobirama watched with suspicious as a woman darted out from the forest and stood directly in front of him and Izuna. Was she here to protect him? She didn’t look like an Uchiha, what with her periwinkle hair though her dark eyes did resemble the enemy.
She pulled out a scroll and unfurled it. He felt his eyes widen when he recognized the clan symbol.
“Senju Tobirama, I Heiwa Daitan challenge you to a duel for your hand. Refuse and face the consequences of my clan and as well as the esteemed Daimyo,” she boldly called out her eyes blazing as if she dared him to deny her request.
Tobirama stood there more stupefied than he had ever been in all his 20 years of life. Vaguely, he heard the sounds of battle get quieter and quieter until he could only hear the sounds of his heavy breathing.
He took a few seconds to settle his labored breaths before he responded.
“Indeed. But can’t it wait? I was in the middle of an imperative battle,” he replied as he couldn’t help the tiny bit of sarcasm that seeped through.
The minuscule amount was enough to be apparent to the woman because her face grimaced with annoyance before she settled into a neutral expression.
“No. The contract states you have to honor my challenge anywhere and anytime. Unless you’re a person with no honor, Senju-sama?”
Tobirama narrowed his amber eyes at her. Of course, he had to oblige her now, she called his honor into question. He straightened his back and sheathed his sword.
“Fine, but we can’t fight here. Too much distraction, follow me.” He started swiftly running, not waiting to see if she was following or keeping up. In his opinion, she wasn’t worth the challenge if she couldn’t do as something as simple as adjusting to his pace.
As Tobirama left the field, he could see the astonished looks on both his clansmen and Uchiha alike. He scowled heavily when he heard his anija saying something moronic as usual.
“Woohoo! My ototo’s getting married!” Hashirama’s voice echoed throughout. He scoffed at that sentence, that’s only if the girl managed to beat him. Which he highly doubted she could.
Tobirama stopped a few miles away from their battlefield, another open grassland. Perfect for his overwhelming water jutsus that she’s can’t jump onto trees to get away from. He settled into a taijutsu stance and she pulled out a sword that covered itself in white chakra.
His eyebrows rose at the technique. Was she related to the Hatake clan? Perhaps the man who was stolen so long ago had lived long enough to father children. It seems like the battle will be harder than he thought, and he pulled out his sword. They waited for the other to make a move before they rushed at each other. Both traded blows in equal strength where Tobirama thought she would be overwhelmed by his strength. But it seemed the chakra surrounding the blade acted as a cushion and doubled her sword’s strength each time it met his katana.
They sparred for a couple of minutes; he could tell she was talented in kenjutsu enough to rival him. Growing tired of getting nowhere, Tobirama backed up and sheathed his katana. Pulling out a few shurikens, he tossed them her away to get some distance between the two.
Tobirama immediately flew through hand signs as he summoned a dragon. “Water Style! Water Dragon Jutsu!” The missile-shaped dragon raced to the woman as she quickly ran away to avoid its direct hit.
The fight continued as the girl feinted and continued to dodge his jutsus one after another. It occurred to him after the fourth time that she was avoiding him on purpose. Like how a stoat chases after a rabbit until the rabbit overcome with exhaustion collapses allowing the stoat to strike.
‘She purposely challenged me during a battle.’ He thought reluctantly.
The girl was cleverer than he previously imagined. She waited until the battle was almost finished as he was about to land the crucial hit on Izuna only to interrupt him and take advantage of the timing. How long had she been watching him fight before she pounced? Not only that she seemed to know the exact range of his attacks and predicted them perfectly before dodging them.
Tobirama smirked, that plan would have worked on anyone but him. Still, she did excellent preparing for an opponent she was outmatched by. Perhaps there was no need for severe injuries on either party, she had earned his respect and he would be merciful to her. He would allow her to escape before rejoining his brother on the battlefield.
Tobirama rummaged through his armor before finding the side pocket on his pants. He pulled out a brown pellet and swallowed it whole. He grimaced at the awful sour taste. The pellet worked as his body regained its lost energy and chakra. The pellet was a work in progress that he developed along with Toka, it was supposed to be medicine to instantly stimulate the body and its chakra pathway. So far it worked but not without repercussions. But hopefully, he would be far away from the Heiwa girl before it started so she wouldn’t take advantage.
He quickly gathered his chakra and let it flood his body. The sheer pressure from his chakra depth pushed out a shockwave throughout the field. The girl stopped to watch him in astonishment and only blinked before he crossed the distance between them in a second. He sent a punch her way which she dodged but was unable to do so with the leg sweep he followed with. She quickly rolled away before he could kick her and righted herself. The girl took out a kunai and rushed at him. He quickly took out his own and clashed with hers.
He looked into her dark eyes and jolted with realization as to how pretty she actually was despite the sweat and her upheaval hair. He scowled at his own thoughts. That was not what he should be thinking about and that distraction was enough for her to take advantage. She dislodged his kunai from his hand and with a fury of punches and a kick had him laid down on the ground.
He gave a short gasp at the kick on his midsection and just as he was about to get up, he pushed down to the ground again with her top of him with her sword to his neck.
“So, Senju-sama. Listen whatever you just ate gave your chakra back at 100%. And really, it’s not fair for me or anyone that crosses your way. So, I have to cut this short, but don’t worry I’ll be back to issue another challenge,” she said with a flirtatious smile.
She leaned forward in his face. “Don’t miss me too much while I’m gone. There will be plenty of battles with me on and off the field.”
The girl planted a quick kiss to his lips that he barely registered with how fast she pulled away. She got off him but still held the sword in a defensive position.
“And also, you can get rid of this wave. No need to threaten a person who’s on her way out,” she said pointing to a wave a few meters behind her.
Tobirama sat up and diminished his jutsu as the water fell and seeped into the field. He could only watch with a heated face as the girl with a water lily symbol on her back rushed away.
He sat there for a few minutes, trying to regain his composure. Pretty sure his ears and cheeks were red and not from overexerting himself on the battlefield either. His damned fair skin always managed to expose his true feelings whether from embarrassment or anger despite his well-maintained stoic image.
Eventually he made his way back to his clan and realized that the battle was over. Many of the Uchiha had already collected their dead or injured and had rushed back to their stronghold. It was hard to know who had had won this one exactly, but he knew that either way both suffered loses. There would always be a family who would lose someone each time the bitter enemies met.
He spotted Hashirama still standing around along with a few of his brethren. They brightened up seeing him and Hashirama actually looked a bit put out.
“Anija, is the battle over?” he asked as he greeted his older brother.
“Yes, the battle was pretty much over as soon as you got challenged. Everyone was kind of distracted to continue. This has to be weirdest way to end a battle, but I’m not complaining,” Hashirama said with a beaming smile.
“How are the loses?” Tobirama asked again as he looked around for any casualties.
“Not too severe. 5 dead and 20 injured,” Toka replied.
Any dead is of course awful news, but when lately each battle was getting dead in the double digits this was a considerable reprieve.
Tobirama turned around to face his older brother when he grabbed him and pulled him close.
“Tell me, ototo. Are you getting married? Shall we make this a double wedding between mine and yours? How does the Heiwa clan even get married?” he asked gushing with excitement. “Oh, what does it matter? I’m so happy for you! I always thought you would just end up being a lone wolf.”
Tobirama gave an insufferable sigh at his sibling and just brushed him off.
“There will be no wedding. No one won and I walked from the challenge still a single man.”
Hashirama pouted and a dark aura surrounded him as he began to grow mushrooms in the background.
Toka ignoring the clan leader said, “was she impressive? She had to be considering she’s one of the first to challenge our clan and not just anyone but one of our strongest shinobi.”
Tobirama allowed a small smirk to appear on his face before his face became stoic once more. He didn’t offer a Toka an answer, but his cousin could sense the mood he was in and guessed that the kunoichi had his respect. Especially since she’s only seen her wayward cousin in such a mood after a productive research session or a spar with his older brother.
She watched him walk away with a soft smile and decided that whatever was his destiny she hoped he get the happiness he sorely deserved just like Hashirama.
The next couple of days was torture to Tobirama, not because he was injured or someone precious to him died. Nope. It seemed after being challenge many decided to come to stare at him like he hadn’t been in the Senju compound since he was born. It was like they were seeing him for the first time. Luckily, his impatient glares kept everyone at bay, but it didn’t completely stop his kindred. The women would stare at him more than they usually do. Sure, before some would stare at him and quickly turned away when he noticed them, but now they were blatantly staring with desire and admiration. He was so unused to this type of attention that he had taken to researching jutsus in his room rather than sparing outside with everyone else.
Tobirama scowled at his brother as he continued to laugh so hard that tears had gathered in his eyes.
Finally, unable to deal with his clan and the oppressive air, he begged well not beg more like politely inquire his brother about a quick mission.
His brother decided this moment was the perfect time to use his observation skills whereas he was clueless about most social situations beforehand. His anija took one look at his miserable composure and burst out laughing.
“Oh, ototo. Forgive me. It’s just this is so funny. I never thought you would be so popular.”
He continued to scowl before he grew tired of Hashirama’s moronic laughter and snapped.
“Quiet, anija! Do you have a mission or not? Or should I take leave without informing anyone?”
Hashirama pouted at his brother’s incensed rebuke and threw him a mission scroll.
“Here, it’s a simple message delivery, but if you take your time traveling it should take a week before you return.”
Tobirama read over the details and thanked his brother with a bow. As he left, he didn’t see Hashirama smile amusingly at his lone surviving sibling. The leader of the Senju then pulled out a scroll and with a dopey grin, wrote to his betrothed about Tobirama’s plight. No doubt she would see the humor in the situation too.
The rain poured so heavily throughout the days as he headed out to his destination that he had to frequently wipe his face to be able to see clearly. Still, Tobirama was one of the few Senju that were in their element in water. While others would have been annoyed and perhaps even freezing by now, Tobirama was right at home as the wind and rain blasted wave after wave on him. As he reached his destination the rain cleared up and he saw a castle of the local Lord that paid patronage to the Daimyo. He was here to deliver a crucial letter from the Daimyo to the local lord.
Tobirama was let in at the gates without hesitation, no doubt his recognizable features gave them a clue as to his identity. He was allowed entry into the esteemed home and waited a few minutes before a man appeared, his fancy, rich kimono giving away his status as the owner of the home. They exchanged a few words and he handed over the message. The lord extended his courtesies and asked if he would like to stay and rest for a while. Tobirama graciously declined as he preferred to rest and sleep in places with the people he recognized. There were far too many casualties that occurred when an enemy decided to breach a resting place away from home. Besides, he could rest a few hours on the road while a kage bushin kept watch. So, with that, he left the castle and began his journey to return home. Hopefully, by then everyone would have settled down and moved onto the next piece of gossip. Though he wasn’t confident if worst came to worst at least the newest showdown between the Uchiha would always be the topic that the clan preoccupied themselves with.
Tobirama stopped at a clearing in the forest and leaned against a tree for a short break. He pulled out a scroll that he unsealed and grab a skin flask filled with water. He also grabbed an onigiri with salmon fillings (his favorite) and took a generous bite while taking a sip of water. Just as he finished up and drank another sip, multiple shurikens lodged themselves into the tree trunk.
He shoved everything in his scroll and sealed it back up while taking out his sword. The same Heiwa woman dropped onto the tree and smirked. He couldn’t help but visibly relax a bit before taking guard once more.
“Hey there, told you we would meet again. So, you ready for that rematch?”
He raised his eyebrow at her challenge. “How long have you been following me? How did you know I was here?”
The woman tsked at him. “I can’t tell you all my secrets. That would be cheating besides I know how much of an accomplished sensor you are. If I told you I would lose my advantage for the next time!”
The two would-be enemies eyed each other warily as they circled each other. Well, as much as they could move around on a tree.
“So, you already know you would lose this battle. And you’re prepared to return for the next one? Tell me is intelligence not a requirement of kunoichi from your clan?”
Tobirama watched instead of getting angry at his insult, the girl smiled widely, and the entirety of her face lit up as she chuckled.
“What can I say? I’m stubborn and when I want something. I will go any lengths to get it even if it means badgering my future husband with a hundred challenges to get it. Besides, no one has ever married a Senju in my clan. I would like to be the first,” she said between her giggles.
He narrowed his eyes at her. So, it wasn’t him she wanted, rather a Senju. He knew his clan was reputed as strong warriors, but he had hoped in a way that the girl would want him as Tobirama and for his accomplishments. He felt disappointed though he wasn’t sure why.
“A presumptuous husband don’t you think? I was being generous letting you go the first time. But if you insist on wasting my time I have no problem taking you out even for a woman like you,” he said as his chakra flow increased and the pressure surrounding them became suffocating.
The Heiwa’s body visibly shook yet she didn’t crumble as she bravely stared back at him.
“You’re angry why? Are challenges that bothersome to you? Most men would consider it an honor.”
Tobirama considered disregarding her questions and just attacking her. But she wasn’t mocking him rather she was genuinely confused, and curious despite being affected by him.
“You would be asking me to abandon my clan while we are fighting a war. Though why you’re challenging me out of all the Senju men when you just want a Senju man, seems curious. You’re outmatched but insist on fighting me despite knowing the danger. There are plenty of other men in my clan that are easier to challenge and would likely and happily accept your challenge. So, why me?” he asked as he settled his chakra that allowed her to relax.
She stared curiously for a minute before something flickered in her eyes.
“Because I’ve seen you on the battlefield. The Uchiha are your enemies, they killed your brethren and many of your family I assume, but still, I’ve seen you offer the little ones mercy. Each time you met a child on the battlefield you’ve either knocked them out or quickly ended their suffering without pain. You’re a man of honor, Tobirama. There’s no one else I would rather challenge.”
His heart clenched at the sound of his given name pass through her lovely lips.
“You know there’s a chance that you might never win, right? There’s a chance you might be fruitlessly fighting me,” he hoarsely replied through the lump that seemed to form in his throat.
“Well, you’ve never met a woman like me before. Besides, I just have to win. It doesn’t say how after all. I’ve got a lot of tricks up my sleeve, you know,” she said with a wink.
He watched confusingly when she relaxed her position and started getting closer to him.
“What are you doing?”
She just cheekily smiled back at him and got even closer. The grip on his sword loosened until the weapon dropped from his hand and he stared warily at her.
“I think there’s no need for a battle today don’t you think so?” she murmured before tugging the fur outlining his armor and planting her lips on him.
Tobirama immediately stiffened feeling her soft lips, he stood there for several seconds unable to respond.
She slowly smoothed her hands over his shoulders before intertwining her fingers through his wild, white tresses. Her blunt nails scratching his scalp relaxed him immensely and when she leisurely started to coax his mouth to respond, he didn’t think twice before following her movements. It didn’t take long before Tobirama got the hang of kissing after all he was considered a prodigy. He tugged her closer to his body and tilted her head up to be fully in control. She let out a whimper when he gently bit her lip and started dictating their dance. The taste of her overwhelmed his senses and the control he worked so hard to maintain crumbled.
He had always judged shinobis harshly who abandoned their duties because of a woman. He didn’t understand what was so enticing about the opposite sex that caused them to lose all their sense of propriety. But now as he slammed this woman against the tree trunk and ravaged her mouth while touching all the skin, he was able to reach, he could vaguely understand their feelings.
Daitan broke their kiss when air became necessary and she panted harshly as he started leaving minuscule bites on her fair neck. She let out a moan when he clutched her behind firmly and bit her hard one last time before straightening up to look her.
“Ha, you know I always thought you would be an intense lover. I see the dedication you have for the things you are passionate for and I couldn’t help but wonder what would it be like to have all that focus on me? It seems like I was right,” she mused as she rubbed her swollen lips.
That sentence snapped Tobirama snapped him out of the haze he had found himself and he instantly let her go and stepped back a respectable distance between them.
Daitan could watch in amusement at the stupefied look on his face, his eyes had widened, and he stared incredulously back at her.
Tobirama looked around before finding his sword and he sheathed it. He looked at her one last time before hightailing out of the forest at top speed lest he once again loses his senses again and starts groping a woman who he wasn’t technically betrothed to.
Daitan pouted as she watched the shinobi run away like he had just seen an entire platoon of Uchiha. She could honestly say that had never happened to her before. But it wasn’t like she was never going to see him again, Daitan let out a chuckle and looked at the strange sight one last time before she left the scene.
Tobirama sincerely wished that was the last time he had seen her, but luck was not on his side. Because she kept appearing during his missions or his battles again and again. As an accomplished sensor, he was able to see the locations of his enemies for miles. Yet, he couldn’t predict where she was going to pop up. Her chakra felt like water from a warm hot spring so really, he should be able to distinguish her amongst thousands, but she somehow managed to sneak up on him with her damned scroll to challenge him always. It got to the point where Hashirama just shook his head at him during one battle’s preparation and told him to instead get ready for his future sister-in-law’s visit. And it wasn’t even like he spent that time fighting her to the death either, they always started as a battle too. But in the middle of it, he would get distracted by something (her eyes, lips, and her body), only to corner her somewhere and paw at her like a dog in heat.
It was so unlike him! He was a proud Senju shinobi, not a boy who just barely started puberty. People were counting on him to protect them and yet here he was distracted by a pretty face.
So, during another challenge, he grabbed her before she could even begin with her intoxicating touch.
“Listen. Can you cease challenging me during my missions and on the battlefield? You’re a distraction.”
Daitain instead only smiled coyly at his request. “Oh, so I am a distraction, huh?”
He frowned at her before replying, “I’m serious. I have a job to do and you can’t continue to interfere and make a mockery out of everything.”
“The missions I get, but the battles? Do you even know what you’re fighting for anymore?” She asked with a scowl.
The grip on her tightened and he responded to her scowl with a fierce scowl of his own.
“They killed my brothers and several of my clan members!”
“And you killed hundreds of theirs! So, what you will keep fighting until both of your clans are wiped out? When your son kills one of theirs? —”
Tobirama got momentarily distracted with an image of a boy with his hair and her eyes along with her smile. He focused once again back at what Daitan was telling him.
“Or when their grandson kills your grandson? This is exactly why my clan refuses to wage in pointless wars. We deal with our problems without bloodshed.”
“It isn’t as simple as you think it is,” he began but he was interrupted.
” So, will you slaughter every single member of their clan? Will you burn down their villages, kill their children, and slice open pregnant women so that the Uchiha will be no more?” She implored with desperation in her eyes.
“Then make it! You and your brother with your limitless chakra have the power to end this war. Tobirama, please the more you keep fighting the more innocents will die.”
He let out a disgusted scoff and shoved her back gently.
Tobirama didn’t answer her right away and refused to meet her eyes.
“I see. I think I got my answer.”
He watched as she gathered her composure and turned her back to him. She left without a backward glance at him.
The upcoming battles he didn’t see Daitan nor was he interrupted in the middle of it. He was able to bring victory along with his brother to his clan. But why didn’t that make him happy? Instead, he felt more hollow than usual, it was like the importance of the victory was lost amongst the dead that littered the grounds. He watched as both his clan and his enemies carried their loved ones with grief and sorrow. It seemed like both clans shared those particular feelings regarding the endless war.
Each time he prepared himself for battle and secured his outer armor, it felt like he was being forced onto the field instead of that duty-bound readiness that he usually wore. It was even worse when a young Uchiha child shivering and crying braced himself for his death when he saw him on the battlefield. Instead, Tobirama refused to meet his eyes and pretended like he didn’t see the child and marched far away from him.
When he got home, his nights were filled with flashes of her. The smell and touch of her soft skin haunted him; his need pressed against him each morning. He should have been happy; she was finally gone like he wanted. He never wanted her, nor did he want to get married. But misery hung on him like a forlorn lover.
Finally, the choice of peace was taken out of his hands when those same hands were drenched in the blood of his enemy. As Uchiha Izuna laid dying on the field, those desperate eyes of Madara would haunt him forever. Hashirama pleaded for peace as Madara rushed to get help for his injured brother. When Tobirama returned to the battlefield once more, it was only to hear the news of the death of Uchiha Izuna. His death brought him no joy and once again the emptiness became a chasm in his heart. The only positive that came out of the ordeal was the ceasefire agreed on by both clans. Hopefully, it would last for a while before the clans came to a legitimate treaty.
He only saw Daitan once more at a local hot spring that the village he was visiting for a mission contained. Tobirama grabbed her hand and tugged her inside the room of the Inn he was staying at temporarily.
“You were right,” he whispered in her hair as he hugged her close.
Daitan ignored the slight trembling she felt as she soothed his fears. That night he ignored all decorum as he kept her close in his futon and slept away a tranquil night for the first time in months.
The pair continued to meet throughout several weeks, not to fight but just to enjoy each other’s companies. The need to win and best each other was gone, all that was left was a longing to hold her in his arms and caress her soft lips with his own.
Tobirama grabbing some chopsticks calmly chewed despite the sweat collecting on his forehead. When he grabbed the bowl and downed all the soup, he looked up to see a bewildered Daitain looking back at him.
“Sit by me,” Daitain cajoled him to get closer as they picnicked one day near a stream. Several of the curious dishes prepared by her were quite spicy and nothing he had ever tasted.
She pointed out what looked like noodles in a fiery soup. “Here, this one you will like. I know you have a taste for savory foods. I asked one of the clan sisters about some of the dishes from Wind Country where they are very generous with using hot chili peppers.”
“What’s wrong?”
“Y-you! You ate all of that without asking for water once?! Are you even human? And you even finished it! I can barely take two bites without dying!” she squawked out.
He rolled his eyes and grabbed some water to wash his meal down.
They took a stroll through the woods when they finished their meal and packed up. When Tobirama found a secluded and secure spot in the dense forest, he rested his forehead against her. Trying to convey the feelings and loneliness he felt from her absence that he couldn’t say verbally.
She reached up and stroked his cheeks tenderly before kissing him. He thought he knew what it meant to have passion in your life, fighting to the death to protect your loved ones was a passion for him a long time ago. Studying and learning Suiton techniques was a passion for him. He thought passion meant devoting yourself, but he never realized what it meant to be passionate for someone else. The whimpers she let out and the way she looked at him when he lowered her on the soft grass. It was like she knew he would protect and love her to his dying days without ever opening his mouth.
Oh, the sounds she made for him when he trailed his hungry mouth across her naked chest for the first time. It was enough to drive a man insane. The way she sunk in her sharp nails in his shoulders when he sucked those lovely glistening peaked nipples made him dizzy with desire. The need to be proper and to follow decorum seemed so insignificant when he could have died without the war ever ending. Would she have found someone else? The thought of Daitan being with anyone else made him lose focus and when she moaned his name, he looked down to see his hands digging into her hips. He smirked, of course, his little hellion liked a little pain with her pleasure.
He mapped her body with the same intensity he does when learning a difficult and dangerous jutsu. She was worth putting in the effort to memorize all the ways he could make her wild, he wanted to do that for the rest of his life. And when he shed his clothes to add to the growing pile, she looked at him awed. Her precious hands that probably didn’t see as much as death as his, lovingly traced over his scars and faults. She looked at him like he was irreplaceable. No one ever thought that of him. He was the second son, the spare. The stoic Senju that couldn’t measure up to his excitable sunshine of a brother. But she wanted him since the beginning, she wanted Tobirama and no one else.
His breath hitched when he finally slid inside her wet slit, their hands interlocked on that warm sunny afternoon. She looked beautiful with her hair wild and spread out amongst the wildflowers, her body arched each time he hit that spot that made her cry out deliriously. Maybe he should have been ashamed for having her without marrying her first like a proper nobleman would. But the way she pleaded for him to give what she wanted and how his name spilled out from her throat, all needy with desperation in her face; made him not give a damn. And when she finally came like the merciful goddess she was, she took him along with her. With a moan and fervent whispers of her name against her shoulder, he spilled into her wet heat. Tobirama so desperately wanted to prolong his pleasure so he continued rutting, trying to keep his seed from escaping. When he finally grew limp, he withdrew and tugged her into his embrace.
It felt forever when he finally recovered stamina but it was too soon for her.
“You want to go again? Give me time at- “
He didn’t let her finish before spreading her legs and setting a fast rhythm that satisfied him but overwhelmed her to the point she begged and pleaded for him to slow down. He only let out a low chuckle when instead of heeding her he only got rougher and made her squeal as she came again and again on his cock.
“You ass.” Daitan declared in between her heaving pants. She tried to hit him, but her hand flopped uselessly missing her highly satisfied target.
“Sorry I couldn’t hear you over your screams of pleasure,” he rumbled as he kissed her sweaty hair.
“Oh, so sex is all it takes for your humor to come out. I see and here I thought you were devoid of any expressions except mild disapproval and that cute face you make every time I flirt with you.”
“I do not have a cute face.”
“Yes, you do. Your face and ears get all r-mrrphhh,” she got interrupted by another kiss and another. Anything to keep her distracted. His face was not cute.
They continued to meet several times, but their meetings now included illicit affairs that usually ending with him between her legs and his hand on her mouth to silence her moans. He was now impatiently awaiting her letters from messenger birds on their next location as he hurried off to meet her while Hashirama watched him depart with an amused look in his eyes.
While one thing was going right, the war on the other hand resumed just after Izuna’s death until Hashirama was ready to kill himself at Madara’s suggestion. Tobirama seethed with rage as his brother stopped him from killing Madara to end the conflict. But apparently, his moronic anija’s antics were good for something as Madara stopped Hashirama before he could go through with his sacrifice and finally agreed on a treaty. The treaty itself was lengthy and included a joint endeavor between both clans to create a village. Most of the housing was planned out by Hashirama and his mokuton jutsu. The entire ordeal was exhausting but rewarding as several clans joined in the effort to create a peaceful environment for the future.
All of the bureaucratic nonsense kept him busy and from going out searching for Daitan. He hadn’t seen her in two months. They were meeting regularly until one day her letters stopped asking him to meet her. Nothing indicated that she was unhappy, and she still responded to him often. Yet, each time he asked her to meet him somewhere she always had a convenient excuse. Tobirama was flabbergasted to the point he even asked his clueless anija as to what this all meant. He just received a lecture on how mysterious women are and how it’s probably nothing. Which didn’t explain why Daitan was purposely avoiding him to meet in person.
Tobirama was about to ask Hashirama for a small break for him to leave the village when he got a missive from the Heiwa clan. The white-water lily was unmistakable, and he stared at the unopened seal for a couple of minutes before snapping out of it when Hashirama and Madara came back from strolling around the village.
“Ototo, what do you have there?” His anija asked before his face brightened. “Is it from Mito? Has she finally decided to elope like I asked her?”
Tobirama shook his head. “No, I think it’s another clan wanting to join the village.”
He didn’t think his brother’s smile could get even wider, but now his smile stretched from ear to ear as the older man chuckled wholeheartedly.
“Oh wow! Which one is it? Is it the Yamanakas? They were acting coy, but I knew my charms worked on them.”
Tobirama looked at the two men, one looked expectedly back at him and the other with wild black hair looked bored.
“No, it’s the Heiwa clan.”
Complete silence filled the office. “Ototo, you don’t have to hide your love letters as missives, you know? Everyone knows about your affair by now.”
He glared at the man and tossed the scroll his way. “See for yourself if you don’t believe me.”
Hashirama grew serious as he read the contents and quietly closed the scroll.
“Well, it seems like the Heiwa clan would like to join. But honestly, I’m intimidated I’m not good with confident, beautiful women. I mean I was a disaster with Mito. So, can you go talk to them instead, Madara?”
Madara didn’t even bother looking at his best friend and instead looked out the window.
“I have better things to do, Hashirama. I don’t want to entertain them. You know people don’t like me.”
“Oh, come on! You know that’s only true for little children. The women like you just fine.”
Tobirama thought for a second, Daitan was their clan member maybe they could provide some updates on her.
“Anija, I could greet them when they arrive.”
The two friends stopped their bickering to look at him. Hashirama looked skeptical and Madara had his eyebrow raised at him.
“Are you sure? Those are your in-laws and you want to make a good first impression on them. I know how grumpy you get dealing with all the politics.”
He fought the urge to roll his eyes at his sibling. “I’m not married for the last time and they’re not my in-laws.”
“Alright fine. You can deal with them when they get here and then send my way for the final negotiations if everything goes well. However, Madara will come to check up on you occasionally just in case.”
Tobirama frowned at the mention of Madara, he was not a child to keep an eye on. He could perfectly negotiate terms between people, he wasn’t that incapable well at least in comparison to the Uchiha. Who seemed overly smug at the moment and smirked when they made eye contact. He shot a nasty look at the older man before leaving the office to head to the training grounds.
The news of the Heiwa clan arriving spread like wildfire throughout Konoha and it seemed like many of the men appeared elated and jovial. Some people appeared to be concerned with the clan’s traditions of stealing men which in essence meant the Uchiha but overall, the response was rather pleasant. At least there weren’t any outright protests to the clan.
When the time came to meet the representatives sent by the clan, he headed to the gates in his standard blue armor. When Tobirama saw who exactly was approaching his home, he realized he should have at least dressed for the occasion. He saw Daitan and another young woman with sea-green hair making their way slowly to the gate. The sea green-haired woman was in a beautiful kimono with a slit at the end showing off her legs, she was equipped with weapons. No doubt a competent kunoichi with the way her observant eyes was surveying the area. His attention finally turned towards Daitain only to frown. She was just in a plain summer yukata with a sword on her side. But that wasn’t what worried him, she looked like she hadn’t slept in a while and lost weight since the last time he saw her.
When they came closer, he bowed to them and they bowed in return.
“Greetings, I’m Senju Tobirama. Welcome to Konoha,” he simply stated while trying not to be obvious in his observations of Daitan.
She sent him a warm smile that slightly calmed his inner worries. They continued inside the village where he led them on a tour, showing off the newly built markets. The green-haired woman had introduced herself as Heiwa Nariko and the name fit as she was courteous and calm throughout the tour. Nothing like Daitan, he kind of expected all of her clan to be vivacious and full of life like her. But apparently, he was wrong as Nariko displayed the qualities of a well-bred noblewoman. With all the attention on them as they went from one district to another, it was hard for him to get in a private word with Daitan. Until Madara showed up just like Hashirama asked him to.
The two ladies bowed to the leader of the Uchiha as he simply introduced himself as “Madara.”
He noticed with a cringe a spark of interest from Madara as he eyed Nariko before it went away. Likewise, the lady made her attraction evident before she averted her eyes.
“Ah, Madara-sama I heard quite praise about the architecture of the Uchiha district. Do you mind showing me the way? I would love to hear from the leader himself,” Nariko requested as she looked over her fan that was covering her face. It made her look demure and shy which was exactly the image she was going for without looking too forward.
“As Heiwa-san wishes,” he replied as he beckoned her to follow him.
As the two left, Nariko turned around and cheekily held a thumbs up to them before hurrying after Madara.
“Madara-sama, you don’t have to call me by my last name. You can call me Nariko-san.” That was the last thing both heard before they disappeared from their view.
“Wow, that was the leader of the Uchiha huh? He has no experience with women I can tell. Nariko’s going to eat him alive,” Daitan giggled.
Not wanting to waste time, he quickly gathered Daitan in his arms before using shunshin to get away from peering eyes. He hopped roof to roof until he got to his own private home that was built for him when the date of his anija’s marriage was decided.
He let her down on the tatami floor of his living room and went to grab some tea for her.
Daitan was looking around his quarters and commented, “hmm, so this is your house. I like it, it’s kind of bare but it suits you.”
When he came back, he offered her a seat and some tea before getting to the point.
“Why haven’t you let me see you lately? What’s going on?”
“So, you missed me? That’s so sweet. Before you used to tell me to stop bothering you, it’s ironic how things turn out.”
He looked at her deadpan, knowing that she was purposely trying to skirt around the issue.
Daitan let out a chuckle at the sight of his face and kissed him.
“You” kiss “are” another kiss “so cute!”
He tugged her close until she was on his lap and kissed her harshly. Letting out a growl against her lips, he sucked on her bottom lip before gaining control of the situation.
“I’m not cute. You know I don’t like it when you call me that.”
Tobirama hoisted her around as she wrapped her legs around his waist, and he carried her to his room. As he laid her out on his futon, he realized this was the first time they were going to make love inside instead of out in the open. His attention was once again riveted to her as she slowly unveiled her yukata to show her bare body to him. He did the same to his clothes and covered her. Their cores connected and he felt her shudder against him. He dipped and started kissing down her body.
“My love, I need you to be gentle, ok?”
He looked up in surprise, she never asked for that. She always loved whatever he could dish out.
“Daitan, tell me what’s going on. Something’s off. You’ve lost weight and you’ve been avoiding the subject.”
She touched his face softly and her face glowed with happiness.
“It’s not a bad thing. Hopefully, for you, it’s not a bad thing. Because I’ve never been so happy.”
Daitan grabbed his hands and placed it firmly against her stomach. It was a bit swollen and tight. His eyes widened and he was speechless for several moments
“I’m with child, I couldn’t meet you for months because I was bedridden with sickness. I could barely eat without vomiting. But I came now because the morning sickness has subsided and I’m finally feeling better. The clan leaders know who the father is and that’s why they asked me to accompany Nariko.”
Tobirama was shocked to his core. Though, honestly, he should have seen it coming, did they even discuss preventions before having sex? No, they went at it like two touch starved idiots in love. Well, that described him, Daitan was far more composed but was content to follow his lead. He didn’t regret it at all despite the life growing inside her. Sure, he’d have to marry her sooner than later to prevent gossip before she grew too large to hide her pregnancy from outsiders. Now that he thought about it, things were happening faster than he intended but the situation worked out. Daitan was going to be his wife and she was going to carry his heir eventually. It just happened in a different order than he intended.
“Are you happy?” she asked bringing his attention back to her.
Instead of answering her, he decided to show her by settling in between her thighs and tenderly kissing the growing bump. He cupped her breasts but was smacked away by Daitan when she hissed.
“Careful, they’re sensitive.”
He let out a grunt and continue to lick and kiss across her upper body. Her body’s changes he noted with reverence, her breasts were slightly bigger along with her hips being wider than before. He was mesmerized. Her moans were growing with a fever pitch and what he brought his member closer to her cunt, he could already feel its wetness and heat. He rutted against her, spreading her juices over his member. Her chest was heaving erratically, and her pink buds caught his scrutiny. Bending over to latch onto it with his lips, the sensations was too much for her as her body arched and shook. With a jolt, he realized how sensitive her body was now.
Her slick tunnel made it easy for him to slide inside and he watched captivated as his member entered with no obstructions to slow him. Usually, it would take a slow pace for her to adjust to his size without hurting. She immediately wrapped her legs around and crossed her ankles to take him deeper. He shuddered and tried to slow down the pace as she provoked him to take her. Finally losing his temper, he slammed her hands above her head and kept them there.
“Slow down. I’m not going anywhere,” he growled out.
Despite the ease, he still set a torturously slow pace and withdrew when he felt her walls flutter and clench around him. If he gave her what she wanted immediately, she wouldn’t be satisfied with the underwhelming climax.
“Tobirama, please. J-just..” She couldn’t finish that sentence as an unfiltered moan broke out when he slammed back into her and jerked her body.
“Is that what you want? Didn’t I tell you to wait?” It seemed like she just too wound up to listen to his earlier warnings and with a scream spilled over creating a filthy squelching sound when his cock thrusted over and over again. His unsteady breath hitched when he felt her walls squeeze tightly so much so he could barely pull out and shove himself back in as he helped her ride out her pleasure. Just as she was finally settling down, he allowed himself to let go and fill her with his essence. He collapsed on the side of her, murmuring unintelligible tidbits before curling her body against him.
When the fiery desire succumbed Daitan couldn’t help but remark, “you’re quite chatty when you’re making love.”
She heard an exasperated exhale. “And your talkative for someone who’s been screaming out her lungs, onna.” Daitan felt her cheeks heat up and let the matter go, choosing to instead lay her head on his chest and feel the rhythmic rise of his breaths.
The rest of the day was spent inside his home as they made themselves familiar with each other bodies and the various surfaces around the house. When Tobirama woke up the next day, he heard someone pounding on his door. With bleary eyes, he opened up to his older brother standing outside with a frantic look.
“Ototo, did you escort Heiwa-san back to the inn? Her clan member hasn’t seen her since yesterday!”
Tobirama just glared at his anija, he couldn’t believe that he woke up for this. He barely got any sleep last night.
“She’s with me. Oh, and by the way anija you’re going to be an uncle in a couple of months.” With that, he slammed the door on his sibling ignoring the jaw dropped look from Hashirama. The girlish squeal that erupted out of the Shodaime was something he would deny to his dying days.
