In the new episode of our German Marauders podcast ‘Rumtreiber Radio’, we talk about the appearance of James Potter, Peter Pettigrew, Remus Lupin and Sirius Black. What do we know in canon about their appearance (among other things, that Sirius used to have short hair!) and - much more exciting - how do fans interpret it and what versions are there in the fandom.

The podcast episode starts with a very passionate appeal from @becczi2811, addressed to all fans. Especially to those fans who harass and insult artists in the fandom because they don't like how they draw certain characters (e.g. the eternal debate about the feminine/masculine Sirius). We've been seeing it more and more lately, fans insulting artists and pressuring them to change things. This is absolutely NOT okay!

So: Give the artists in our fandom more love! Comment on their posts, like their pictures, reblog them and above all: be nice. If you don't like an interpretation of a drawn Marauder, you can just keep it to yourself and you don't have to insult the artist.
