svt fic recs (mostly nc-17; jeongcheol, verkwan, minwon + other)
JEONGCHEOL
"fuckme.mp3 (a smash hit)". au, underground rapper!sc. oneshot, 2k. nc-17.
It's all thanks to Hansol, really.
"calibration". omegaverse: alpha!sc, omega!jh. oneshot, 2k. nc-17.
“…can tell he really wants you,” Hansol is saying, somewhere nearby, except for a minute it doesn’t smell like Hansol, and Seungcheol blinks, confused, until he sees who’s following Hansol into the room and stops caring about anything else.
"a thousand degrees tonight". oneshot, 3.6k. nc-17.
The novelty has yet to wear off, knowing that he can have someone as strong and sure and dependable as Seungcheol like this- unfocused, needy. Desperate for him.
"babysitting gone wrong". au, babysitter!jh. oneshot, 4k. nc-17.
In which, Jeonghan gets hired to babysit the youngest Choi for the night but ends up sitting on the meaty thick thighs of the eldest Choi sibling.
"amour". au, vampire!sc. oneshot, 7.7k. nc-17. (check out the prequels to fully enjoy this one.)
At some point, Seungcheol had found himself with a collection of all the small, intimate noises that Jeonghan had made for him tucked away in a secret part of his heart.
"praying at your altar". modern royalty!au: bodyguard!sc, prince!jh. oneshot, 8.6k. nc-17.
Above all, the prince is precious.
"stay here with me". au, psychologist!sc. 5 chapters, 31k. r. ♡♡
Eight months after his younger sister's death, Jeonghan is struggling. Barely hanging on. He's tired. Lonely. Wishing he could find one therapist that understands his niece. Then he makes an appointment with newly graduated child psychologist Choi Seungcheol.
VERKWAN
"one day we're gonna get". oneshot, 1.6k. nc-17.
“Come on! As if you don’t know I look at you!” Hansol’s eyes are wide, exasperated. His tone is teasing. His grip on Seungkwan’s arm is so tight.
He’s scared that Seungkwan doesn’t believe it, Seungkwan can tell.
"one pound of flesh". historical!au, omegaverse: omega!sk, alpha!vn. oneshot, 4.5k. nc-17.
A strange marriage, to an even stranger alpha.
"sinking/floating". omegaverse: omega!sk, omega!vn. twoshot, 12k. nc-17.
Hansol presents late. Seungkwan is right there to guide him through it.
"left where the daylight comes". regency!au, omegaverse: omega!sk, alpha!vn. twoshot, 50k. nc-17. ♡♡♡♡♡
“Our dear Seungkwan is engaged to be mated to Alpha Park by the end of the summer season!” Seungkwan’s mother says, cheerily.
The delicate porcelain cup shatters under the force of Hansol’s hand.
"easily (like do re mi)". au, teacher!sk, single parent!vn. 5 chapters, 53k. pg-13.
As a single father, Hansol tends to worry too much.
Then, comes Boo Seungkwan, a kindergarten teacher that occupies Hansol’s mind more than he knows what to do with.
MINWON
"don't mention it". omegaverse: alpha!ww, alpha!mg. oneshot, 2k. nc-17. ♡
Mingyu's preferred person to spend his rut with may not be the most evident choice.
"the trials and tribulations of being accidentally bonded". college!au, omegaverse: omega!ww, alpha!mg. oneshot, 41k. r.
Jeon Wonwoo was supposed to be a Beta. He was also supposed to hate a certain Kim Mingyu with all his might. But, then again, who says life couldn't roughly take you in the ass without preparation?
OTHER
"we". wonwoo/seokmin/mingyu. oneshot, 15k. nc-17.
“Hyung, would you ever want to have a threesome?”
"love so tender (you are my)". chanhan. omegaverse: beta!jh, omega!dn. twoshot, 16k. nc-17.
Jeonghan is good at being in the middle. Extreme emotions are not really his forte. So he is grateful to be born as a beta. Less drama, easier.
Then he meets Lee Chan.
"over and over again". seoksoon. soulmate!au. oneshot, 19k. r.
Soonyoung has the easiest time finding his soulmate - running into him in the hallway at age nine kind of speeds things along. Nothing after that, though, is anywhere near as simple.

Looking for K-Pop Roleplayers
Hi! After my Omegle adventures came to an end, I'm on the lookout for fellow roleplayers to write some stories with. I only ask that you are 18+ and used to writing in the third person.
We can brainstorm ideas together or you can dazzle me with your existing plots! While I prefer Canon Universes, I'm also down for AUs. However, there are a few AUs and tropes that I've had my fill of or are a bit too far out of my comfort zone. Here's my list of "no-gos":
Toxic/Dark relationships between our characters (I don't mind if it is with YC plus someone else/not MC).
Hybrid AUs
High School or University AUs (except for the student x teacher dynamic, which we could do!)
Step-siblings or step-parents
Age gaps when one character is a minor
Canon character x OC as the main pairing (OCs for the plot are cool)
Super-heroes/super-hero x villain
Heavily kink-based NSFW
Little AUs
Here are the groups and ships I am looking for:
BTS : Open to any pairing—I've got experience writing for all the boys.
TXT : More familiar with Yeonjun, Soobin, and Beomgyu.
SKZ : Chanlix, Hyunlix, Minsung. Experienced writing for Felix, Chan, and Jisung.
SVT : Jihao, Jeongcheol, Jihan, Verkwan, and Meanie. Experienced writing any member in any of those ships.
I'm also open to crossovers, interactions, and exploring multiple ships at once.
More info:
Time Zone: GMT-3
Languages: English, Portuguese, or Japanese—whichever you prefer!
Platforms: Roleplay can happen here, on Discord, via email, or on Amino.
Response Rate: Expect at least one reply a day.
Always up for tweaking or discussing a new plot if things start to lose their sparkle.
You can send me a DM if you are interested! I look forward to chatting :)

Little Boxes - Eleven
Tumblr media
A Jeonghceol Domestic AU where they live in suburbia with their six year old son Chan. Jeonghan is an active member of the PTA, a soccer dad and chauffeur, and a supportive parent all around. His loving husband cares deeply for his passions and will follow him to the end of the world if it keeps him and his family happy. Follow their journey as they get caught up in fun and zany adventures when they fall outside of the guide lines of your average neighbor. Don’t really know where I’m going with this, but I want to see how many different domestic prompts I can get out of this AU before I run out of steam.
First Chapter
Previous Chapter
NOTE: This takes place before all the holiday stuff. I just can’t plan for shit and write too slow lmao.
Autumn begins to settle in quickly. Warm sunshine accompanies a light breeze. The leaves start to change color and ever so slightly dangle from their branches, ready to fall. It’s sweater weather and warm tea time, but not quite cool enough for fluffy coats and mittens yet. With the sky being so clear and the temperature being just right, Jeonghan decides to take Chan to the park. Other parents in the surrounding area have noticed the scenic day and have brought their own kids to the playground as well. It’s relatively full. Not too much so that he couldn’t easily keep an eye on his kid, but enough to where the other kids could keep Chan company. Once too many has Jeonghan gotten stuck on a slide because Chan just insists on racing with him. He watches from the sidelines and lets him be a rowdy six-year-old for once.
Of course, it doesn’t take long for Jeonghan to garner some unwanted attention, so he puts on a fake smile to greet a parent that frequents this area. She’s rather distracting and he couldn’t remember her name if he tried, but she doesn’t seem to notice. He doubts she even realizes how annoying she is. Or if she does, she probably finds it charming. Apparently, she is in the PTA too but is a little more reserved so maybe that’s why he doesn’t remember her. He cuts his eyes between her and Chan (they call him overprotective, but he says its just diligence). She mentions something about saving pictures in her phone about some hot dad from the bake sale. Before Jeonghan can effectively pry into her gallery, he hears a shout that sounds all too familiar.
His heart stops, stomach drops, and he hurriedly hops over some children just to get to the source of that scream. He starts panicking once he sees his son on the ground in front of the swing sets. He’s got a skinned-up knee and a bloody palm and his crying echoes through the park achingly. Jeonghan runs over and immediately picks up the boy, checking his face for any life-threatening injuries. He sighs when he sees none. A flurry of questions and hushes come out of Jeonghan, instantly soothing the boy.
“What’s wrong baby? What happened?” He’s bouncing Chan on his hip and through broken cries and hiccupping he hears him say something about a girl pushing him. He connects the dots and sees some long-haired child around his kid’s age swinging merrily back and forth. Once Chan sees her again, he begins to cry more, burying his snot covered nose into Jeonghan’s shoulder. The dad knows he should just take the younger home to get him all cleaned up, but not before giving this brat a piece of his mind.
“Excuse me. Can I speak to you for a moment, sweetie?” It’s clear Jeonghan is a bit upset but tries to keep a calm demeanor so as not to trigger the parent that is sure to be lurking. If they are not monitoring their child like they should be, he’ll take that step for them. If they won’t discipline them, he will. A good scolding is necessary otherwise they’ll never learn. The girl continues to swing but does at least look at him with a bored expression. Kids can be so rude these days. “Now I know you probably didn’t mean it...” Even though Jeonghan knows damn well she is old enough to know better, “ …but it’s not nice to shove others aside to get what you want. Pushing someone off a swing is unacceptable behavior.” She has the nerve to yawn, “I’m sure you wouldn’t want your mom or dad to know what you’ve been up to, but I think it’s best if I talk to one of them.”
Before Jeonghan can even ask for the kid to point out their parent, he hears a vicious voice bark out, “Why are you harassing my daughter?"
Jeonghan is so offended because he’s not the one doing the harassing! “Harrassing?” he begins to tell them off, but when he turns around, it’s like the whole world comes to a full, screeching halt. Fate is on some fuckshit today.
Jang Doyoon. Age 28. Number 19 on Jeonghan’s hit list.
Don’t be fooled. Just because he’s 19, does not mean there’s any less of a loathing for him. In fact, Jeonghan’s list is quite long so he’s still somewhere around the top 20%. It’s just Jeonghan’s luck that he runs into him after so long. It’s a small world (and at this moment he wishes he was on the opposite side of it).
Once, long before, Jang Doyoon seemed hellbent on ruining his whole life. He’d transferred to the same university as him and maybe it was some kind of territorial defense mechanism that had Doyoon making every encounter absolutely terrible. Jeonghan almost fought him once the other “accidentally” bumped into him with a freshly brewed cup of coffee in his hands. Even more, he didn’t even say sorry after staining his blouse and causing minor burns. Oddly, Jang Doyoon vanished after that. Jeonghan never questioned it, just closed that chapter in his book. Jeonghan hadn’t thought anything else of the boy.
That is… until now.
The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. He mentally rolls up his sleeves, pulls up his big boy pants and prepares to stand up to the bully he never had the chance to.
“When my son was using the swing, your kid pushed him off.” His tone remains polite yet challenging. Jeonghan is a cordial man with a short temper. His soft exterior shields unsuspecting people from his true wrath.
But Jang Doyoon has accepted the challenge. “Well did she have reason to do so?”
Jeonghan is like a cauldron of molten lava now. His brain stutters, not believing the audacity this man has to ask a question like that. “What did you just say?” He raises an eyebrow.
“If your kid is hogging the swings, don’t you think it’s only fair to take turns?” Jeonghan can tell his cattiness has remained intact all these years later.
“I guess delinquency runs in the family.” Jeonghan leans in real close and his voice gets real low. “If you or your spawn of Satan ever comes anywhere near my child again, I will personally hand your ass over to you on a silver platter.”
Jeonghan makes sure he has a firm grip on Chan, the six-year-old still clinging tightly in his hold. He makes a dramatic exit, not once glancing back at the man who triggered his inner Mama Bear. There’s a cloud of dust in his wake and a couple stunned parents fishing for new gossip. If Jeonghan were to retell the story, be sure to expect explosions in the background, fire—lots of it, and a man quaking in fear.
On the walk home, he’s speaking sweet words to the child easily winding him down. Chan’s still shaken up, never really having been the focus of a bully’s rampage. His bawling has now turned into slight sniffling. He’s just too kind for this world. Jeonghan feels awful that someone so mean could target his precious baby. He hopes Chan never has to see her again (and that he never has to see her father).
He sits Chan on the counter of his bathroom once they get home. Chan knows how it feels to get cuts cleaned. It makes him want to cry all over again at the memory of it. It was too similar to his bike accident a few months ago. He never wanted to go through that again, but here he is. His dad reaches toward him with a cotton ball. He knows it isn’t water soaked through it because water doesn’t burn. And the smell is never that strong. He flinches each time it gets closer.
“I need you to be still, baby. It’ll take longer to clean if you keep moving around.”
“But it huuurts…” The pout is so much like Seungcheol’s that Jeonghan has to refrain from rolling his eyes.
“I know. I know. But it’s the only way to make it better. Can you be a big boy for me?” That seems to do the trick as Chan stops fidgeting on the counter and sits up a little straighter. His eyebrows flatten out into a line as he mocks what he thinks determination should look like. He’s already cried so much today. He wants to be a big boy who doesn’t have a fit when the stinging, burning water like thing gets too close. He nods.
But the contact makes all of that go out the window. He yelps and kicks his leg in surprise. His pout has returned and his wide eyes swell with brimmed tears. Thankfully Jeonghan catches his leg before he gets kicked. Holding it in place, he dabs the wounds a few times and fully cleans up any remnants of pebbles and blood. Even when Chan starts crying again and trying to shy away, he holds fast and tries not to let it affect him as much. It’s hard though. Seeing Chan cry and knowing he’s the one causing the pain makes his own heart wrench. He feels so guilty that he wasn’t able to protect his baby in the first place.
“I’m almost done. I’m so so sorry.” Jeonghan croons. The six-year-old’s fists come to tighten in the collar of Jeonghan’s shirt, an attempt to distract himself.
Jeonghan finishes up with Spiderman decorated band-aids. It’s the only good thing of this whole ordeal because Chan finally smiles seeing one of his favorite superheroes. They don’t have any plans for the rest of their day so Jeonghan thinks it’s a perfect time to watch cartoons and let Chan eat snacks and ice cream before dinner for once.

“My parents are gonna be here in 30 minutes to see the house can you please put on clothes?” Seungcheol sighs, rubbing a hand over his forehead.
Jeonghan looks down at himself, clad in only his boxer-briefs, and then looks up at him with a shrug.
“I mean I could, but I think your dad would appreciate the balls on my balls,” he says.
“First of all, those are balloons. Second of all, I can see your dick and I really don’t want my dad to see that.”
“Why? You think he’d be into it?”
“Jeonghan!”
“I’m kidding!” Jeonghan laughs. He goes over to his husband and places his hands on Seungcheol’s hips. “You seem stressed. Why are you stressing?”
“Because this is the first time my parents are coming to our house and I just want to make sure everything goes smoothly. You know if even one spot looks the slightest bit cluttered my mom will just stare daggers at it and judge.”
Jeonghan tsks and wraps his arms around Seungcheol’s waist. “My poor baby. Do you need Daddy to take care of you?” he coos, slipping his hands into the butt pockets of Seungcheol’s jeans and squeezing.
“We are not having sex right before my parents get here,” Seungcheol hisses, batting his hands away.
“We could always do other things.”
“Jeonghan, I swear to god-“
“Fine, fine,” Jeonghan relents, raising his hands in the air in surrender. “But, seriously, do you need me to do anything?”
“Put on clothes.”
“Anything but that.”
Seungcheol glares and Jeonghan smiles before placing a kiss on his cheek.
“Right away, my love.”
Seungcheol watches him walk away for a moment, a fond smile on his face, before turning and going to fret over the nursery.

• jjp met in a literature class in college when jinyoung was a first-year and jaebeom was a second-year and immediately hit it off bc their personalities complemented each other perfectly
• they got so close so quickly that it only took them a few months to open up about their sexualities to each other
• jaebeom is gay, jinyoung is pan
• jaebeom became friends with mino and seungyoon when the three of them were put in a triple room during their first year
• mino is bi, seungyoon doesn't label himself but is open to anything
• jinyoung and wonpil are childhood best friends
• jjp went through a long period where they tentatively flirted with each other and their friends who knew their sexualities were like can u make out already
• they started officially dating when jaebeom was a senior
• they had been dating for a year when they started making plans to open a bookstore together
• jaebeom worked a bunch of odd jobs after graduating to start saving up and jinyoung did a lot of paid tutoring for kids in the community while also preparing to graduate
• they told jinyoung's family about their relationship right before the bookstore opened - his family wasn't exactly happy but they accepted it
• jaebeom proposed to jinyoung on the second anniversary of their bookstore opening
• the proposal involved him leaving post-its in books that are important to both of them as a kind of scavenger hunt (like the first book they did a project on together for the class they met in and the first books they recommended to each other)
• jinyoung is the one who found and brought home the cat they call junior
• youngjae is an only child but thinks of jjp (especially jaebeom) as the older brother figures he never had. when yugbam start coming to the cafe they become like his little brothers
• bamlisa are a bisexual power couple (i didn't explicitly write them as dating but in my mind they are sjhdjfkd)
• jinyoung is only a couple of years older than jisoo and doyoung but he helped look after them when their parents were out while they were growing up
• one day doyoung and jaehyun come into the shop with three kids and jinyoung is like "KIM DOYOUNG DON'T TELL ME YOU ADOPTED KIDS YOU'RE STILL IN COLLEGE" but it turns out that jaemin is jaehyun's little brother and donghyuck is jaemin's best friend and jeno is jaemin's boyfriend, probably
• yoo youngjae and jaebeom practiced kissing once when they were 13 which is how jaebeom figured out he had a crush on him
• mingyu, minghao, and seokmin have two sets of dads bc jjp adopted them but jeongcheol also adopted them before that
• hanbin and jiwon visit the bookstore often, not because they like reading, but because hanbin wants to play with the cats and jiwon loves cats AND hanbin so it's a win-win
• when jjp saw yugkook interacting for the first time during yugyeom's birthday party they lowkey thought they're crushing on each other. in reality i left it up to interpretation, but it's certainly plausible that yugkook like each other as a little more than friends
• yerim is hanbin's little sister who highkey has a crush on sooyoung who she knows because hanbin has been in her class since elementary school
• sooyoung, jisoo, jennie, seulgi, and joohyun come to the bookstore together to pick out wlw books and talk about them with jjp who are always happy to have book discussions
• this isn't a fully-fledged headcanon but i feel like at some point jeongcheol realize that they're both lowkey attracted to jisoo too and he may or may not join their relationship
• jeonghan's brother is chan and he starts bringing him to the bookstore too when he visits with seungcheol and jisoo
• jjp take pictures with all the 97 kiddos at their graduation and frame them to put on their living room bookshelf
• yugyeom tells his parents that his move-in date for college is a month earlier than it actually is so he gets to live with mark and jackson for a month before leaving for college
• jjp get married for real in canada a month after their fake wedding ceremony and spend their honeymoon in hokkaido because jinyoung has always wanted to visit there
• jaebeom finally tells his parents the truth about his sexuality after they get back. it doesn't go well but he's already made peace with the fact that they were never going to accept him
• jjp adopt hyunjin (3 yrs) and yeji (1 yr) after they've been married for a year and are the most doting parents ever, and everyone who visits the bookstore always brings little gifts for the kids

Hi ! Could you do a jeongcheol parent!au please ? That's not really uncommon but I'd love to see them with a cute child ^^
Anything for you anon! And since there are quite a few jeongcheol parent au’s out there, i hope you find this one up to par ; w ;
Jeongcheol Parent AU
Seungcheol felt the tiredness accumulated throughout the day disappear, his face morphing into a fond smile as he took in the scene in front of him. He’d found it slightly odd when Jeonghan hadn’t come greet him at the door like he usually does but now, seeing the way his husband was curled up in bed, with Joonie held protectively against his chest even while sleeping, Seungcheol could find it in himself to forgive him just this once.Silently, as to not wake up the baby, Seungcheol reached for his mobile phone and quickly took a picture before slipping back out of the room, sending a quick kiss accompanied by a quiet “I love you” to the sleeping angels before closing the door.
okay through this experience, I’ve discovered that trying to depict domestic bliss with only 3 sentences is really too hard

Beast!AU Jeongcheol
Notes: Finished! This was supposed to be a beauty and the beast au but this happened??? Whoops~ thanks to @andytheraven who gave me motivation to finish this!
•as a kid you were always teased, since you didn’t fit into the stereotype that everyone wished to be •it got worse as you got older, as your parents fought and then your father would go to the bar, to relive his memories •and your mother would leave you at your grandmothers house for weeks before even calling to see how you were doing •by the age of eight, you were being bullied more than ever, and it seemed to be getting worse as days passed •it didn’t matter if you wore nice clothes, the girls would say that it was like a hobo pretending to be royalty •it didn’t matter if you tried your best at sports, the boy made fun of you and tripped you anyway •so what was the point in trying? •every day after school you would trudge home, after taking thumb tacks out of your shoes most days •or your gym clothes would go missing, maybe your notebook would be filled with harsh threats •shoved into lockers, forced to do others chores, giving up your lunch •after a particularly long, dreadful day, you walked home without a coat or boots in the snow •you made it through the front door, and crumpled onto the floor, sobbing •your loud heaving sounds mad your grandmother rush over, seeing her only grandchild on the floor, tears streaming out of eyes •you asked your grandma why everyone hated you? •why did they make fun of you? were you really a mistake? •did anyone except for her truly love you? •the words that she spoke next would change your life, believe it or not •"Would you like to forget everything? Not feel the poison from the words they whisper behind your back?“ •you nodded, tired of it •just waking up made you tired nowadays •the nightmares that plagued you at night, repeating the torture that went on In the day •why have emotions if the only ones you feel are negative ones? • •when you went into school the next day, the kids did the usual •the girls would avoid you and then wait for you to cry just so they could act innocent •but not today, never again •you walked right to your desk and sat down, looking forward at the board •not even bothering to glance at the girls •when it was gym time, the boys lined up for dodgeball •they told the teacher that you wanted to play with them, and she let you join the group •the plan was that everyone on the other team would get to pelt you •and no one would be any wiser •or so they thought •when the teacher blew the whistle, you reached the balls first and threw them as hard as you could at the other members •one by one, they got out, you dodged the balls like they were their words filled with poison •one touch from them and you’d be back where you started •eventually it was only you left, everyone else was out •throwing the last ball to the other side, you looked at the teacher and with a deadpan voice •"yay. I won.” • •you didn’t actually forget everything, maybe your grandma wasn’t that powerful of a wizard •or maybe that was the only way she thought you would understand what kind of magic she put on you •what she did do was give you the tools to build a wall •her magic worked the moment you stepped out of the house •you couldn’t feel any emotion from anyone except yourself, no anger or sadness would come from the students who tried to tear down your self esteem •you were blank, you were average, you were so emotionless that it scared your peers •if someone would crash into you, you’d look blankly at them and continue walking •if a teacher called on you, you’d give a blunt answer, uncaring if it was correct •but when you got home… •YOU WERE A HOT MESS •spending twelve hours a day, five days a week, being emotionless took a toll funnily enough •it would come crashing back to you once you stepped through the door, •hundreds of emotions all at once •happiness from getting the correct answer, sadness from hearing that you class pet had died, anger from a teacher blaming you for not passing handouts •all the emotions that you hadn’t felt that day, came within five minutes •sometimes it was too extreme, to many at once and you had to lie down •but not today, today was alright, it was a balance of emotion •"Grandma, I’m home!“ •dropping your bag on the floor, you went to walk into the living room, where she was most likely sitting •stopping for a second to read the photo that had been hanging since your emotions were sealed up •Emotions are fragile, when they flood into you like a river, the spell will break and so will you •the words used to scare you, would make you want to stay home •since home was a safe haven, wasn’t it? •"y/n?” •that wasn’t a voice you remembered, nor was it one that your heart wanted you to remember •slowly stepping into the living room, you saw you grandma, she was staring at a stack of papers on the coffee table •across from her was a lady, the lady you’d wait by the door for her to come home •to receive her calls, just something so you could pretend that she cared about you •"what are you doing here?“ •your tone was cold, and you could tell that she was hurt by how she flinched at your voice •your grandmother asked for you to sit down, so she could explain what was happening •why was this happening? •you sat stiffly down on the couch down next to your grandma, your eyes never leaving the intruder •"honey, i never wanted to leave. I wasn’t in the right place to take of you, I could only think about hurting myself.” •she started off, but honestly you couldn’t bring yourself to give any fucks •"you and that man abandoned me! You left a child alone! You never called! I’d spend hours by the door, Waiting for someone who’d never come!“ •you yelled, anger taking you over, you could feel your face turn red with anger •your grandma seemed proud that you were finally speaking up for yourself •both of your hands were shaking, you could taste the metallic consistency of blood as you but your lip •"I know. And I apologize. I’m sure your dad would too.” •"why isn’t he here?“ •you didn’t want him here, or her for that matter, but if one was barging in, the other one followed •"h-he passed away. A few years ago. I’m so sorry” •there was a flash of sadness on her face but the she went back to a pity look •you stood up from your spot and looked at your grandma, and she just knew you were going to explode •"So what? Both of you left me! I spent years wondering if it was my fault! Now I’m supposed to care that a stranger died? Why are you here???“ •at this point, you were tired, so tired •this felt worse then when you got home, you felt anger and sadness •"Y/N! I am your mother and you are coming with me!” •and you were gone, without even realizing you ran outside of your house, shoes off at four in the afternoon •kids and their parents gawked at you as you continued running, running from memories that you wanted to keep buried •your feet hurt, but you kept running, pushing yourself to run faster, just to feel nothing again •when your felt grass in between your toes, you started sobbing •you were outside of your walls •and you could feel •you could feel the emotions that you wanted to keep locked up •dropping to the floor, you cried •you let yourself be angry at your father, for leaving and dying without a goodbye •at your grandma for not explaining better, at your mother for returning where she wasn’t welcomed •but mostly you were tired, running and emotions took a lot out of you •so curling into your sweater, you went to sleep, imaging a fairy tale like the one your dad read before this • •when you woke up, there was a blanket over you •quickly sitting up, you looked around, expecting to be in someone’s home •but nope, you were lying on your bed of grass •instead a male was next to you, lying down on his back as if he was watching the clouds with his eyes closed •he was beautiful, but with a glance inspecting his face, you noticed that his lip had little teeth dents •his hair was messy, in a way that you could tell that it was an accident •he looked like a cute mess, a very cute mess actually •folding the blanket, you stood up and removed your sweater, leaving you in your undershirt •and then you attempted to take out the foliage from your hair, whilst you pulling out sticks and leaves from your bird nest, the boy started to wake up •he rubbed his eyes, slowly sitting up and looked at you with a lazy smile drawn on his face •"hey" •raising a hand so you could return his greeting, albeit a lazy one •giving up on the mess in your head, you offered a hand to the male who was looking at the buttercups that littered the floor •"I’m y/n" •he grabbed your hand, and you helped pull him to a standing position •"jeonghan, yoon jeonghan.“ •he introduced himself while dusting the grass off of his jeans •and the both of you started the walk down the hill, neither of you asking the obvious •why were the two of you there? •you brought up school and asked if he went to yours •and he full out laughed, cackled even •"we’ve been in the same class since sixth grade.” •yeah, after elementary you didn’t bother to learn anyone’s name •somehow the conversation moved to elementary school, and both of you found out that you were both tormented •which made you laugh, because kids are cruel no matter how you look •when you arrived at school, you were late obviously •it was third period by the time you showed up, but you couldn’t find it in yourself to care •jeonghan invited you sit with him during lunch and you agreed, happy to have someone to take what was going on off your mind •during classes everyone avoided you, as per usual •it made the day more bearable, as you doodled in your notebook •soon a sketch of the sleeping jeonghan was doodled in the center, with a butterfly drawn on the tip of his nose •soon it was lunch! •so you walked down to the cafeteria, nervous to see jeonhan again •nervous to have emotions, that you had to deal with at the same time as things happened •but sitting at the table was jeonghan (his hair looked combed now) and three other boys •all of them looked normal functional humans, but since they hung out with jeonghan you assumed they weren’t •sliding across from jeonghan, you waved again and he lazily greeted you as he continued to steal grapes off of the boy with full lips tray •the boys looked at jeonghan as they waited for an introduction, which only came as he started taking the strawberries off your tray •"this is y/n. I met her in the forest, we slept next to each other.“ •he said biting into a strawberry, the juice trailed down his lip •he was quickly passed a napkin from grape boy, which he smiled at but didn’t take •laughing at the display of affection, all of the males at the table except jeonghan looked shocked •making you raise an eyebrow in their direction as you stole a blueberry from jeonghan •popping it into your mouth, you heard a gasp from the whole cafeteria •looking behind you, you watched as hundreds of eyes were drawn on you •"why?” •you asked, looking at jeonghan •"they think cheollie and I are dating. You look like a home wrecker right now.“ •he replied licking his finger that had juice on it •so you did the only thing that you could do •you turned and took a grape from grape boy, put it in your mouth and offered him a strawberry •with a smirk from him, he bit it out of your hand, leaving only the green part left •another collective gasp from the cafeteria as the three of you continued to trade fruits •when lunch was over, you waved goodbye and started to walk to class •"hey y/n, see you after class?” •that was grape boy, you spun around and nodded, waving in his direction, you continued to walk to class • •after class, you waited to see if the males would actually come •and they did •along with people following them that would shoot you dirty looks, making you giggle and point them out to jeonghan •"I highly doubt your name is cheollie or grape boy, mind introducing yourself?“ •you asked the full lipped male, as he ran his hand through his hair •"really? I’m Choi Seungcheol, same class since seventh grade.” •you shrugged and reintroduced yourself and then asked what was up with the group of girls following you •both of them looked at each other, and started laughing •"oh seungcheol! You’re perfect! You’re body is like a sculpture, you’re thighs were crafted from god!“ •jeonghan said in a high pitched tone, as if reading from a script he clasped his hands and pretended to swoon •this made all three of you cackle, as this impersonation was very much like some of the kids you had heard today •"did you see jeonghan? His face is like an angel! He’s so innocent! I hear he comes from a rich family! And he wants to be a doctor!” •seungcheol screeched, doing the same motion as jeonghan earlier, only his muscles bulged out of his clothes •you were laughing on the floor, your face red as you tried to breathe through your laughter •being with these two was amazing, even though you’ve only known them for a day, this was the best you’ve felt •but good things have to come to an end, as the intruder walked inside of the store where you and seungcheol were currently teasing jeonghan for getting a bowl of fruit •"y/n! Where were you? I was worried sick!“ •yeah, and alcohol and strange men worked better than Tylenol •looking like a deer in headlights, you tried to slip through an aisle and avoid her •but to no avail, she grabbed your wrist, her red fake nails dug into your skin •looking at the two boys, you could only mouthed help before she dragged you out of the store •before throwing you into the car, and flipping the child lock so you couldn’t escape •you saw jeonghan and seungcheol outside on the sidewalk, being very confused •you started banging on the window and screaming, hoping that they could hear you •you mom started the car and drove away, just as you saw seungcheol tap the brunette male on the shoulder •he pointed to the car as it zoomed away, your hands on the window • •the days had passed on, the woman had taken you to the house that you lived in early on •there she kept you in the same room that they would lock you up in when you were younger •the walls were painted the same dark green it was years ago, toys were all over the floor, webs were in the corners of the walls, but no spiders were to be found •you were entirely alone, except for when she would force you out of the room to clean •and then you’d be shoved back in the same small room •the carpet was coming up, you could see the planks under the rug •she wouldn’t bring you food, only throwing half empty bottles of water •the plastic on the top always had red lipstick on it, as if she wanted to remind you that she was always there •the only window was to high off the ground, if you were Spider-Man you’d have no problem •but as a weird rapunzel/beast hybrid, no such luck •some days you could convince yourself that your grandma was looking for you, or jeonghan and seungcheol missed you •but no one came except for strange men that would pay your mom, and then they both would disappear •leaving you alone in the house •and today was the day •the day where you left, you had been taking pillows and clothes for days •and finally you had a big enough pile, so you threw them out of the window and waited for them to fall •once they collected a circle-ish area, you climbed out onto the thin ledge of the window •you’d only have one chance, and you jumped with all your might •for a moment it felt like you were flying, like you had no worries, everything was okay •and then you hit the ground •pain wasn’t an emotion, but you had never felt it like this before •screaming in agony, you watched as people crowded around you •they would yell for someone to call the police as they watched, instead of doing it themselves •your screams kept getting louder but only when you saw one face did you stop •it was one of the boys you sat at the table with, when you ate with jeonghan the first day •"call Han, and cheol, and gran. Please.” •you begged, knowing that you might be done, that you might not get the fairy tale ending •and you saw an ambulance pull up, and everything became quiet •their mouths still moved, but no sound was coming out •and your eyes keep closing, just a little nap couldn’t hurt • •when you woke there were two bodies next to you •"beauty, and gaston, what a wonderful surprise.“ •you croaked out, your voice was scratchy •but they heard you •their heads both shot toward you, two pairs of eyes watching your every move •the first emotion that you felt wasn’t anger at being kidnapped, it wasn’t sadness from leaving these two •you felt loved, warm, you could finally tell eight year old you that someone loved you •you looked sleepily at jeonghan who had his hand holding yours, while his other one was holding seungcheol’s calloused one •"what a nice surprise to see you as well, beast.” •you weren’t a Disney princess, you were you •and they were them •no magic was needed anymore •and they lived happily ever after • •got you! •nah you had to go to court, to get you mom to go to jail and in case she got patrol •you had to get an order of protection against her too •then you visited your dads grave, only to find out that you had step siblings, older and younger •your grandma was given full custody, and you got to stay at your school •kids treated you differently, seeing you as a victim instead of one of their peers •no longer wanting to be average, you became the valedictorian •your speech said that you were a victim, so were all the other teens who graduated along side you •you were all victims of society’s rules, but you, you made it out alive •head held high, hands intertwined with Seungcheol’s hand, agile his other one held his diploma •your left hand holding jeonghan’s who was holding his diploma and had been given bowls of fruits by other students •life was hard, there were things you’d have to go through •but you never had to question whether anyone loved you

Long jeongcheolcheol hybrid au maybe?(with smut in between) were jeonghans a hybrid and seungcheol adopts him?
Fluff, smut (mostly fluff). No reader. Jeongcheol with a v e r y small side of Meanie. This is my first hybrid AU and I haven’t exactly read any properly before, but I hope you find this enjoyable ♥
→ Seungcheol is lonely (and full of love to give someone), and with the help of his trusty friend Wonwoo he adopts a cat hybrid named Jeonghan.
+ huge thanks to the three anons who sent in ideas, they were really helpful! ;u; if I didn’t directly incorporate your idea into the story, it still definitely helped me move forward with it! ♥ (+ this took a bit longer than intended because I’ve been super tired and kinda worried about my health, but it’s finally done!)
→ 11,109 words
If you’re using the tumblr app and can’t see the scenario, which is under a “keep reading”, please try opening the post in your phone’s internet browser (or a computer)! ♥
Life was lonely for Choi Seungcheol. Five, sometimes six days a week he’d wake up and go to work, and by the time he got home, he was too tired to even think about going out and to meet new people. He still held contact with his friends from high school and university, because it wasn’t exactly difficult to either visit them or invite them over, or simply go out with some of them - it was less draining than meeting new people and having to show his best sides when he was sleepy and slightly irritated.
Days off he tended to spend either with his friends or doing whatever he didn’t have the time or energy for during the week, let it be going to the gym, catching up with an on-going drama, or like he aimed to do every weekend, calling his parents.
It was Saturday morning and Seungcheol was sitting on his bed, running his fingers through his messy hair. He was too sleepy to open his eyes, so they were still closed, and even through the tired daze his mind was going through what his friend Wonwoo had said to him the night before when he was over for some beer with his dog hybrid, who towered over both of them and had brown ears long enough to be a bit floppy whenever they weren’t perked up.
“I think you should think about adopting a hybrid. I know you get a bit lonely sometimes, and I’m sure you could offer one a great home… and I don’t know man, if you get lucky, you could find something as great as I’ve found with Mingyu.”
The mentioned hybrid had wagged his tail with a toothy grin on his face while Wonwoo had stroked his thigh. Seungcheol had merely let out a fascinated sound, his fingers wrapped around a bottle of beer as he processed the idea.
He opened his eyes slowly and looked at his bed. There was so much empty space in it that it was almost sad, especially when he had never learned to sleep in the middle. Sighing, he threw the blanket off himself and got up.
He would look into adopting a hybrid.
Unsure of where to start, he got his phone after turning on the coffee maker and opening the blinds in his living room, and sent a message to Wonwoo.
’Where did you… uh, get, Mingyu?’
He barely had enough time to yawn and run his fingers through his hair when he already had an answer, although it wasn’t exactly to his question.
‘Oh, you’re actually thinking about it!’
Seungcheol stared at the three dots that appeared underneath Wonwoo’s message, and quirked his eyebrow when the second message arrived.
‘I’ve got contacts, so I could ask them? Any preferences?’
Seungcheol frowned. Preferences? The more he thought of it, the more he didn’t understand, so at the end he told Wonwoo he had none; he trusted his friend to know him well enough.
His morning continued with him drinking coffee and reading the news, occasionally taking a look out of the window. It was a beautiful day, and he decided that it was too beautiful to simply be wasted indoors, so he changed into a pair of joggers, a long-sleeved jersey and a thicker kind of a jacket to keep him warm before heading out with earphones in his ears.
It shocked him how soon it was that Wonwoo contacted him again: he had just gotten out of the shower, a mere three hours after their exchange, when his phone buzzed with a message.
’A cat hybrid I know is actually looking for a, well, home. His name is Jeonghan and he’s, uh… well-behaved. I think you two would get along. Are you interested?’
Seungcheol felt a sense of excitement at the thought of meeting the hybrid, and while he didn’t know what to expect from a cat hybrid, he was definitely up for finding out.
’Yes, I’m interested.’
Perhaps Seungcheol should’ve figured from the speed at which Wonwoo had been helping him that day that it wouldn’t take him long to proceed again, but he was still thrown aback when his doorbell rang and he had to pause the episode of Goblin that he was watching.
“Wonwoo, what–” His words got stuck in his throat when he was met with a beautiful young hybrid instead of his best friend, who he had expected to see. His hair was dark brown, barely separable from the black ears that peeked through his locks, and his eyes were as mysterious yet mischievous as every cat’s that Seungcheol had encountered.
The hybrid laughed a little nervously, his cheeks a bit rosy, although there was a small sparkle in his eyes. “Sorry to disappoint you, but I’m Jeonghan. Wonwoo is coming, though, I was just… excited to see you.”
Seungcheol pursed his lips when Jeonghan’s eyes moved up and down on him - it was then that he realized that he had yet to put a shirt on, meaning he was only wearing a pair of loose college pants. A grin spread to the young hybrid’s lips, and Seungcheol could only smile a bit awkwardly.
“Come on in, Jeonghan. I’m Seungcheol, like Wonwoo’s probably told you,” he said while moving from the doorway enough to let Jeonghan in, which he did, one of his hands clutching the strap of the bag he had slung over his shoulder. While he moved further into the apartment and took his shoes and slightly oversized beige peacoat coat off, Seungcheol looked at him in interest.
It hit him that he had, indeed, just adopted a hybrid. He’d be responsible for him, for taking care of him and all that, and he would be living with him. Essentially, he was getting a roommate, he thought,  because from the very moment that he had decided to adopt one, he had decided to accept him into his life wholly. Anything less would’ve been selfish and plain evil.
The more he watched Jeonghan and took in his elegant features and little ears and the tail moving from side to side as well as his genuine, happy smile when he turned around to look at Seungcheol expectantly, he decided that it would by no means be difficult for him to take Jeonghan into his life.
A smile spread to Seungcheol’s lips as he walked to the hybrid, grabbing a shirt from the backrest of his couch on his way.
“I could give you a small tour while we wait for Wonwoo? The apartment isn’t too big, but you know,” he suggested, clasping his hands together, and told Jeonghan that he could put his bag wherever he saw fit. The cat hybrid nodded and put his bag next to the couch before following Seungcheol through the small tour of his apartment.
The kitchen was combined with the living room, and Jeonghan chuckled a little at Seungcheol’s attempt to separate the spaces with the couch. The dining table was square in shape and had four chairs around it, and the kitchen counters had a nice amount of space by them. They weren’t anything magnificent, and Jeonghan could see some wearing on the surfaces, but he figured that there hadn’t been a renovation anytime recently.
Seungcheol’s bathroom was as modest as most of his apartment, consisting of a toilet, sink, a shower corner and a mirror cabinet, as well as a bin that was under the sink. There were some hooks on the wall, and on one there was a dark blue, big towel, and by the sink there was a beige, smaller one. Jeonghan figured that soon there would be two more for him to use.
Seungcheol rubbed his nose. “It’s nothing special, but…”
Jeonghan laughed, and Seungcheol couldn’t help but blink at the bubbliness of it. “It’s fine, really. I wasn’t expecting to walk into a penthouse or anything, you know.”
Seungcheol grinned. “That’s good, because this is far from one. Then the last room…”
He led the hybrid to his - their - bedroom, and turned the lights on. “As you can see, the right side is… free, I’ll just get you a pillow and blanket and some covers from the cupboard later. I’ve got plenty of space in one of the wardrobes, so I’ll just empty that so that you can use it and… yeah.”
Seungcheol rubbed his neck, slowly moving his gaze from the room to Jeonghan, who seemed surprisingly fascinated considering that his apartment was so simple. The hybrid turned to Seungcheol with a grin that reached from ear to ear, and the black ears at the top of his head twitched a little.
“I think I’ll like it here, Seungcheol.”
The mentioned male smiled, and was about to say something back when the doorbell rang, and he just shook his head. The two went to let Wonwoo in, his glasses sliding down his nose as he lifted his face from his phone.
“So, how are you two?” Wonwoo asked while getting in and stuffing his phone to the pocket of his jeans. Seungcheol and Jeonghan looked at each other at, and the aforementioned shrugged with a small smile.
“I’d say we’re good. What do you think, Jeonghan?” he asked, not wanting to claim anything unless he shared the feeling. Jeonghan nodded with a chuckle.
“Can’t say much yet, but Seungcheol seems like a good guy.”
Seungcheol tried to hide his surprise and merely nodded at Wonwoo, mouthing “You heard him” half-jokingly. Wonwoo laughed and shook his head.
“A few things about hybrids before I go - and Jeonghan can correct me if I’m wrong, alright?” Wonwoo began, looking at the hybrid upon mentioning his name. Jeonghan nodded and leaned against the wall, while Seungcheol swallowed and prepared his ears to focus. Perhaps he would’ve had wanted to hear these things before adopting a hybrid, but he didn’t mind. “They might get attached pretty fast under these circumstances, although some might be more wary of this kind of change in their lives, but Jeonghan seems pretty… adjusting, so…”
“Really?” Seungcheol asked almost dumbly and turned to look at Jeonghan, who gave him a slow shrug with a playful grin on his lips.
“I’ll be spending quite a bit of time with you and bonding is a thing,” he said, and his eyes softened a little towards the end of his sentence, still holding the little sparkle in them. “And so far… yeah.”
Seungcheol wanted to press him on about what came after “so far”, but instead, he turned back to Wonwoo, who just raised his eyebrow.
“Also, every once in a while they’re in heat. And when that time comes, Jeonghan might need you,” Wonwoo explained, lowering his voice meaningfully. Seungcheol frowned a little, his lips parting in confusion.
“In heat?”
Jeonghan snorted, while Wonwoo rubbed his temples. “Don’t you know anything about dogs or cats or?”
Seungcheol frowned even more and tried to put pieces together, and when he did…
“Ah!” he exclaimed, eyes wide and mouth open as the realization hit him. “So you’ll..?”
Jeonghan nearly smirked, Seungcheol’s obvious embarrassment and obliviousness somehow adding to his confidence, with his lean, black tail a bit wavy as it pointed upwards. “Get very horny, yeah.”
Wonwoo remained amused at the blush on Seungcheol’s face, and just shook his head. “Well then… I think you two’ll be fine? Make sure to treat him well, Seungcheol.”
Seungcheol nodded immediately. “It wouldn’t even cross my mind not to treat him well.”
Once Wonwoo had shared a few more things, including pointing out that Jeonghan was around two months younger than Seungcheol, and had left the apartment, the remaining two looked at each other with smiles spreading to their faces, although Seungcheol’s was a bit more nervous than the other’s.
“So… welcome,” he chuckled, at Jeonghan nodded while thanking him, and tilted his head towards the kitchen.
“How about some tea and getting to know each other?”
So Seungcheol made the two some tea while Jeonghan went through his movie and CD collection, snickering about how he still had a shocking amount despite digitalization. Seungcheol defended himself by saying that he liked having physical copies instead of relying on the internet or anything similar, and Jeonghan let it slide.
They sat down on Seungcheol’s couch with their cups and stole glances at each other. Seungcheol found his eyes straying more and more to Jeonghan’s cat ears and his tail, but also realized that he had the most captivating pair of eyes he had ever seen, all mysterious yet slightly playful. The hybrid laughed.
“Do my features bother you somehow?” he asked straightforwardly before sipping on his tea, and Seungcheol shook his head in shock.
“No, no! That’s not it, I’m just fascinated,” Seungcheol said, doing his best to make Jeonghan understand that he was by no means bothered.
Jeonghan gave him a small smile and touched his cat ears. “Are you wondering if they’re real or something?”
Seungcheol smiled back at him, chuckling quietly. “I guess it’s something like that.”
“You can touch them if you want,” Jeonghan said boldly, which made the other male raise his eyebrows in surprise. The hybrid laughed. “Come on, it’s fine.”
Doing as he was suggested to, Seungcheol brought his hand above Jeonghan’s head and touched his left ear with his forefinger and thumb, rubbing it slightly. He let out a fascinated sound, oblivious to the slight blush on Jeonghan’s cheeks. “They’re really soft.”
“A-and sensitive, please,” Jeonghan said rushedly, gently moving Seungcheol’s hand away. The black-haired male stared at the flushed one in surprise, his eyebrows raised, and only realized the situation when Jeonghan kept averting his gaze a bit, almost shyly, as opposed to his otherwise rather confident, even flirtatious, behavior earlier.
“Oh. I’m sorry, that wasn’t my intention,” he said equally rushedly, his cheeks gaining a rosy color as well.
Jeonghan shook his head and smiled. “It’s fine. It’s just… yeah.”
A silence fell over the two, but after a while Seungcheol broke it by asking Jeonghan about his life, which spurred them into conversing about, well, their lives.
Seungcheol told him about how his dreams of becoming a rapper had been buried after a very discouraging event, and Jeonghan told him about how lonely he had been for most of his life; being a hybrid wasn’t the easiest thing in the world, and it had been a long time since he had felt like he belonged where he lived, not to mention living with someone he felt like he wanted to live with.
“I’ve been lonely, too,” Seungcheol admitted and stirred his tea with his spoon, eyes aimed at the drink. Jeonghan smiled softly and patted him on the knee.
“Well, perhaps now we can try to help each other with that and be less lonely,” he said optimistically, genuinely looking forward to his upcoming life with Seungcheol.
The older male nodded, an equally soft smile spreading to his lips. “Yeah, hopefully.”
At least they got along, and that was a good place to start their life together.
The day came to an end faster than Seungcheol or Jeonghan had anticipated, and so the two were about to go to bed. Seungcheol got the other one a blanket and pillow and some cases for them while Jeonghan changed into something to sleep in, which ended up being a loose t-shirt and boxers.
“If this is alright,” Jeonghan mumbled, tugging at the hem of his shirt a little, his tail down with the tip pointing up slightly. Seungcheol finished putting the blanket into the cover and turned to look at the hybrid with a wide smile.
“No need to worry about anything like that, really. I usually sleep in underwear only,” Seungcheol said with a chuckle. Jeonghan let out a relieved huff, and his tail rose up quickly and his ears perked up, too.
“That’s good,” he said and ran his fingers through his hair.
Seungcheol moved away from the side of the bed he had made for Jeonghan and found his way to his own side, sitting on it and watching the hybrid take a seat on the bed as well. “Is there anything I should know about your sleeping habits? Do you kick or talk or something?”
Jeonghan laughed and said that there was nothing like that, but a bit more shyly, said that there was still something. Seungcheol raised his eyebrows in curiosity. “I kind of need to hold something when I sleep, like, you know… a pillow, a blanket, a person…”
Seungcheol melted into a warm smile at his confession and shook his head, as to say that it was nothing to be embarrassed about, which Jeonghan clearly was. “I don’t mind cuddles, if you ever want something more than a pillow.”
The hybrid smiled warmly, too, and seemed visibly more relaxed again. “That would be nice.”
The two lay down together some time later, after they had brushed their teeth and Seungcheol had gotten rid of what he considered to be excess clothing, and spent a good while just talking. Jeonghan was more or less cuddling his blanket, nearly giggling when Seungcheol told him a funny story from the previous night (Jeonghan was pretty well acquainted with Wonwoo and Mingyu, Seungcheol had figured) and his eyes sparkling in a way that Seungcheol found incredibly fascinating.
When they fell asleep, Jeonghan was still cuddling his blanket and Seungcheol was lying on his back.
However, by the time Seungcheol woke up, Jeonghan had found a comfortable place by his side, his arm slung over his stomach and his head resting half on his shoulder and half on his chest.
Opening his eyes, Seungcheol smiled to himself and stroked Jeonghan’s arm, thinking that he could easily get used to waking up like that.
It was within days that Jeonghan realized he liked Seungcheol, possibly in more ways than one.
He thought he was kind for taking care of him the way he did - it wasn’t anything special, but he was good for him, and that alone was something Jeonghan really appreciated. It made him so incredibly happy and warm to know that there was something who cared for him, because it had been a while he had been able to feel that way.
Jeonghan thought Seungcheol was adorable, in his clumsiness and slight awkwardness, and even with his lame jokes. Seungcheol had a warm heart, which was something Jeonghan noticed very quickly. He was always pouting at bad news, always cheered for his friends and seemed genuinely happy for, well, whoever shared their happiness with him.
And alright, on top of all that, Jeonghan thought that Seungcheol was incredibly attractive, with his toned body, cute dimples, intense eyes and affectionate nature. Almost more than anything, Jeonghan treasured the hugs he was getting on a regular basis.
For example, on mornings when Jeonghan woke up first, he usually went to make something to eat pretty soon after opening his eyes - he had always hated that he practically always woke up hungry - and while preparing it, he’d suddenly have Seungcheol’s arm around his shoulders and him leaning closer, asking what he was making.
It might have made Jeonghan’s heart skip a few beats every single time, but he didn’t pay much mind to it and just decided that it was because of the surprise (although he had sensed Seungcheol’s presence from far).
As for Seungcheol, he felt a lot less lonely after adopting Jeonghan, and he was happy to see that the hybrid seemed happy as well. Jeonghan had brought in some of his own belongings, too, such as an armchair he had apparently had for a few years, a small cat tree, and some smaller things that he wanted to have with him.
Seungcheol loved learning new things about Jeonghan, like how he subconsciously put back his ears even when he was trying to appear unbothered by something that upset him, or how much he enjoyed just simply lying down, or how he loved to try to prank him. …Or actually it wasn’t even trying, because most of the time Seungcheol didn’t even realize until Jeonghan was snickering.
In Seungcheol’s defence, at least he hadn’t fallen for Jeonghan’s suggestion to dry his phone, which he had accidentally dropped to a sink full of water, in the microwave.
Seungcheol loved the fact that he had someone to talk with, about current events and his as well as Jeonghan’s day, or someone to have pillow talks with; loved the fact that he had someone to sleep next to, and someone to wish good night with a small smile playing on his lips every night.
It, of course, only made it more precious for Seungcheol that he was able to do those things and so much more with Jeonghan, whom he had almost immediately grown fond of. The hybrid was mischievous and sweet, albeit quite lazy, and made Seungcheol feel more at home than he had felt in a long time, despite living in the same apartment for five years or so already.
Now, Seungcheol wasn’t all that into how he had to buy a lot more fish than he had before, or how Jeonghan had accidentally managed to ruin a few of his bed covers and pillows with his sharp nails, but that was a minor detail.
Seungcheol was making them something small to eat before going to bed while Jeonghan was practically dozing off on the chair he had brought in, which was honestly one of the softest ones Seungcheol had ever laid his bottom on, so he couldn’t blame the hybrid.
Jeonghan was wrapped in a warm blanket, purring quietly in his light sleep, and it was almost amusing how something so simple was one of the cutest sights Seungcheol had ever witnessed.
When he was done, he walked to the armchair and patted Jeonghan’s head - the younger one stirred a little when he felt his cat ears be run over by Seungcheol’s fingers, and smiled up at him.
“I’ve got us food,” Seungcheol said quietly, as though sensing that Jeonghan was still quite sleepy, and let his hand fall to caress his cheek.
“Thanks,” Jeonghan said equally quietly and leaned his cheek on Seungcheol’s hand, slowly opening his eyes and looking up at him.
Seungcheol merely smiled to him and tilted his head towards the dining table to signal that they should move there.
They ate quietly, and while Seungcheol did the dishes afterwards, he had Jeonghan more or less drooping on himself, hands linked so that one arm went under Seungcheol’s left arm and one was over his right shoulder.
It was the lips on his shoulder that made Seungcheol more conscious of the hybrid than he probably otherwise would’ve been, because it was that contact that made him feel like there was electricity coursing through him.
Jeonghan was sleepy and he was purring, and after a good while of just being like that with his eyes closed, he managed to mumble Seungcheol a quiet thanks for the food.
“It’s nothing,” Seungcheol mumbled and tried to focus on the dishes again, but ended up looking at Jeonghan as he walked to the bedroom with lazy steps, feet more or less dragging on the floor while a loud yawn left his lips. Seungcheol smiled a little.
They might’ve been on unknown waters with each other, but as long as neither minded, he was willing to let it slide and see what would happen.
Seungcheol and Jeonghan were eating dinner, and the aforementioned was observing the hybrid. They had now lived together for a few weeks, and while Jeonghan did appear satisfied and happy, Seungcheol wanted to be absolutely certain that everything actually was okay.
“So how have you liked it here? Are you adjusting well?” he asked, voice clear yet soft, and watched the small, soft smile form on Jeonghan’s face. The hybrid poked at the piece of fish on his plate and slowly moved his eyes to Seungcheol’s.
“I feel like I already have adjusted quite well,” he said cheerfully, his eyes twinkling with something playful. Seungcheol smiled in relief. “And I really do like it here, I’m not sure why I wouldn’t? It’s not like I wouldn’t have enough space, or that you would be treating me badly, or that–”
“No, of course not,” Seungcheol almost laughed, and smiled at the hybrid happily. “I was just worried you’d be lonely or not feeling at home. Because if that was the case, I would feel bad, but I would also definitely do my best to change things.”
Jeonghan chuckled and got some fish into his mouth. “Seungcheol, I’m half cat, which isn’t the most social animal in the world. I’m more than fine being alone, but I’m just as happy to be with you.”
“That’s a relief,” Seungcheol admitted, and the two ate in silence for a while.
Eventually Jeonghan snickered, which made Seungcheol quirk his eyebrow.
“You worry for me. It’s cute,” the hybrid said with a wide, bright smile, and got a similar smile from the other male.
“Of course I worry.”
“It’s not that obvious, you know. Not everyone worries about their hybrid…” Jeonghan’s voice fell to a mere mumble, and Seungcheol saw his eyes darken a little and his ears go back.
Seungcheol pouted with a frown. “Is this something you’d like to talk about?”
The hybrid got a smile to his face again, but his ears remained back and Seungcheol could easily tell that the smile wasn’t all that genuine anyway.
“Nah, I’m past it. I’ve got you now and I couldn’t be happier,” Jeonghan reassured Seungcheol, who just nodded, as much as he still wasn’t convinced.
Silence fell over them again, and the topic wasn’t touched until a few nights later, when they had stayed up a bit later than normal and Jeonghan was cuddled up to Seungcheol as he told him about the previous man who had adopted him, solely because it was cool to have a hybrid, not because he had particularly wanted one, let it be take care of one.
Seungcheol’s heart was breaking as he held the saddened cat hybrid in his arms, listening to him pour his heart to him about how little affection he had gotten and everything else that had gone down at that time. Seungcheol pressed his lips to the top of his head, whispering, “You’ve got me now.”
The more Seungcheol told him that, the more Jeonghan relaxed and cuddled closer to him, although he was still sniffling and Seungcheol could feel his shirt still continue getting wet with tears.
“I’ll take care of you,” Seungcheol muttered, voice as soft as he could make it, and stroked Jeonghan’s hair. The hybrid nodded and slowly lifted his face, showing the male his swollen, still teary eyes, slightly flushed cheeks and ears flat back. He opened his mouth, about to say something, but Seungcheol brought his forefinger to his lips gently. “I know you’re about to thank me, but I want you to know that you don’t need to.”
“But I want to,” Jeonghan mumbled, pouting a little when Seungcheol withdrew his finger from his lips. “Thank you for adopting me.”
Seungcheol shook his head with a small smile and stroked Jeonghan’s arm soothingly. Little by little, he relaxed in his arms, and soon he was asleep.
Seungcheol had learned to love mornings.
He loved the sun bursting in through the windows of his living room area; loved the faint smell of toast or pancakes or whatever Jeonghan was making that sometimes reached all the way to his bed; loved the fact that when Jeonghan was sleeping in, he woke up next to someone with their arms around him.
He loved the showers that were surprisingly often interrupted by Jeonghan finding whatever excuse he could to enter the bathroom, whether it was to get his contact lenses from the mirror cabin or brush his teeth, because that could absolutely not wait for the five more minutes that Seungcheol would be in the shower.
But mornings weren’t the only thing he had learned to love and appreciate. He loved that Jeonghan easily noticed when something was bothering him and asked about it, because otherwise he would’ve probably just kept it in. Instead, Jeonghan made sure Seungcheol got to talk about it, and proved out to be good at listening, comforting and giving advice.
Thinking about how much in his life had changed - almost solely for the better - Seungcheol applied shampoo to his hair. He was having a hot shower so the mix of plastic and glass that surrounded the shower corner was mostly fogged, much like the mirror of the mirror cabin.
“Sorry, I need to brush my teeth,” Jeonghan announced, almost chuckling, as he burst into the bathroom. Seungcheol laughed while rinsing his hair, and Jeonghan tried to steal subtle glances at him through the foggy window as he put toothpaste on his toothbrush.
“Couldn’t wait a few more minutes?” Seungcheol asked a bit teasingly, unaware of the way Jeonghan’s tail was moving slowly, almost sensually in the air, as his eyes moved up and down on his body.
“Nope,” was Jeonghan’s simple reply. When Seungcheol wiped some of the window at his eye level so that he could see the hybrid, Jeonghan merely smiled at him, trying to appear like he had just moved his eyes to the direction. “Something wrong?”
Seungcheol squinted his eyes and shook his head before focusing on soaping himself, only barely able to ignore the feeling that he was being watched; while it didn’t feel particularly unpleasant - quite the contrary - it did feel odd and new, even.
And kind of arousing, in a way that Seungcheol didn’t really want to delve into.
While Seungcheol was at work, Jeonghan enjoyed himself at home. He’d eat whenever he got hungry, although Seungcheol knew him well enough already to always have some quick snacks prepared for him, and mostly just laze around if there was nothing more intelligible to do, which at least according to Jeonghan, there rarely was.
Had there been a camera providing footage of the apartment during days, the most common view would’ve been Jeonghan lying on the couch on his back, his head turned towards the TV and one of his legs hanging off the couch. He’d doze off at times, for either a few minutes or closer to half an hour, and eventually get back to the TV. If he had a slightly less lazy day he’d scratch at the cat tree a little, but other than that he preferred just lying down.
On Seungcheol’s more unlucky days, he was met with a rather proud hybrid when he came home, pointing at a dead mouse on the floor and grinning, “Look what I caught.” However, every single time he’d give Jeonghan an approving smile and a pet on his head.
Another favorite pastime of his was going through Seungcheol’s things and listen to the neighbors and whatever was going on outside of the apartment. With his heightened sense of hearing, it wasn’t all that difficult to pick up small arguments from the apartment upstairs, or the woman next door singing in the shower.
Seungcheol would occasionally come home to Jeonghan shallowly asleep on the couch, the TV on and an empty bag of whatever little he had snacked on on the floor.
“We really need to work on the whole ‘cleaning up after yourself’ thing,” Seungcheol snickered when he was cleaning up the mess Jeonghan had made during the day, which in all honesty wasn’t all that bad, but it was still something that Seungcheol easily noticed upon coming home.
The crumbs on the kitchen counter, open drawers in Seungcheol’s wardrobe, empty bags of snacks and displaced furniture were only some of the things that gave away Jeonghan’s lack of interest in leaving things orderly after himself.
Woken up by Seungcheol’s snicker, Jeonghan opened his eyes and gave him a bright smile, barely showing any regret even as he said, “Sorry,” with an innocent voice.
Seungcheol ruffled his hair, giving the small cat ears some of the touch, too, and smiled at the hybrid. “As long as you promise not to completely trash this place, I won’t mind too much.”
At that, Jeonghan quirked an eyebrow and motioned at himself, still comfortably lounging on the couch. “Do I look like I would have the energy to trash this place even if I wanted to?”
“Never judge a book by its covers,” Seungcheol replied matter-of-factly, almost sing-sang, and took the empty bag of snacks to the trash, pushing one of the dining chairs under the table as he went. Jeonghan followed him with his eyes.
“I’ve got a great idea for tonight,” he said and sat up, his tail pointing straight upwards. Seungcheol looked at him expectantly while wiping the counters off bread crumbs and whatever else there was, and Jeonghan giggled. “Let’s watch a movie. And cuddle. You know I like cuddling, and I know you like cuddling, and–”
“We cuddle every night,” Seungcheol pointed out with a wide smile that reached his eyes so well that Jeonghan felt his chest fill up with warmth. “And I would never say no to some more cuddles.”
“So we’ll do it?”
Seungcheol’s eyes got even softer than they had already been at the pure excitement visible on Jeonghan’s face and perky ears. “Of course.”
The movie kept the two interested for more or less the first half, but eventually Seungcheol found his attention drifting more to the purring hybrid lying on top of him than it did to the movie. Jeonghan, too, was more focused on the calm rhythm of Seungcheol’s heart than the plot twists going on on the screen.
Jeonghan had started to spend more and more time looking out of the window, to the extent that Seungcheol took note of it.
“Do you want to go out?” he asked the hybrid, who was brought back to reality with his ears twitching a little at Seungcheol’s voice.
“Kinda,” Jeonghan replied. It wasn’t that he hadn’t been out after Seungcheol had adopted him, because he had joined him to the grocery store and other quicker errands sometimes, but other than that he hadn’t really even felt the desire to go out. Now, however… “You know, it’s been a while since I’ve been to stores other than the supermarket… do you think we could go to some at some point?”
“Of course,” Seungcheol said with a smile, and remembered that Wonwoo had reminded him to get Jeonghan checked up at a doctor eventually. “Oh yeah, we should also see a doctor. We could go there and then to some stores?”
Jeonghan smiled brightly while nodding, and Seungcheol almost fell backwards when the hybrid jumped to hug him.
Seungcheol was surprised to get an appointment only a few days away, and the two agreed to go out that day.
Their outfits were surprisingly similar, mostly differing in color, with Seungcheol wearing a pair of black jeans, a white college shirt and a long black winter jacket and Jeonghan wearing a pair of dark blue jeans with a black college shirt, but with his beige peacoat.
The hybrid felt more self-conscious about his tail and ears than he had expected, and it didn’t go unnoticed by Seungcheol, who reached for Jeonghan’s hand when he seemed awfully stiff and had his ears back as well as a small pout on his face, his tail hanging low.
“Is everything okay?” Seungcheol asked while squeezing Jeonghan’s hand, and the hybrid gave him a slow, almost unsure nod.
“Sure. It’s just… I feel like everyone’s staring at me.”
Taking a look around, Seungcheol could see that indeed, they - or Jeonghan - were getting quite a few looks from people around them. He frowned a little and instinctively got his arm around Jeonghan’s waist.
“Let them stare, you’ve got me,” he muttered to his ear, and got a small smile from Jeonghan.
“I’ll try.”
They made it to the doctor’s, who asked them both questions and checked Jeonghan’s health records as well as his current health, only to say that everything was fine and that the hybrid seemed considerably better than he had a bit over a year earlier, at least according to the record of his last check-up, where it was stated that he seemed tense and anxious, on top of which he hadn’t exactly in the best health, either.
Seungcheol was a bit saddened by the information, but he was also happy to know that it was highly likely that being adopted by him had done Jeonghan a lot of good, which also meant that he had been good for Jeonghan. And that was essentially what he aimed to be.
After the doctor’s office, the two headed to the shopping center, and Jeonghan was amazed at the amount of people and the size of the place. Seungcheol watched him in amusement, feeling pleasantly warm on the inside at the sight of Jeonghan being so happy and impressed.
They bought some clothes and essentials, and Jeonghan often asked for Seungcheol’s opinion on some shirts that he had picked up to try on, most of which Seungcheol said suited him perfectly. People were still staring, but Jeonghan had somewhat learnt to ignore it more than let it bother him.
When they were about to leave the shopping center, with Seungcheol carrying the numerous bags with the hand that wasn’t holding Jeonghan’s, the hybrid looked at him adoringly.
“I had a lot of fun,” he said and shuddered when they entered the streets, the cold wind raw as it hit them. Seungcheol gave him a gummy smile that made Jeonghan feel all warm and fuzzy, and began walking towards the direction he lived in.
“Me, too. Let’s make sure this won’t be the only time we do this,” Seungcheol chuckled and rubbed the back of Jeonghan’s hand with his thumb.
“Defi– Ah!”
Seungcheol frowned and felt his heart drop at Jeonghan’s shriek and the feeling of his hand being ripped away from his forcefully, which almost made him lose his balance. He turned around and saw Jeonghan being dragged away by a tall man, running fast with the hybrid struggling to keep up with him. Seungcheol didn’t waste another second before following them, his heart beating fast as anxiety filled him.
He couldn’t let anything happen to Jeonghan.
“Let me go!” Jeonghan screamed while being forced to run after the man with his hand tight around his right wrist. It had been a long time since the last time he had had to resort to his claws, but he didn’t hesitate to withdraw them and press them hard into the hand holding him, undoubtedly digging deep.
Seungcheol was following the two as fast as he could, mentally thanking all higher powers for the fact that he ran on a regular basis, and raised his eyebrows a little when he heard the man dragging Jeonghan suddenly groan and curse loudly.
The man had just turned to a side alley when he threw Jeonghan to the ground, making the hybrid wince as his back hit all the little rocks.
“You little son of a bitch!”
Seungcheol reached the two right on time before the man had been able to land his foot on Jeonghan, and shoved him roughly with nothing but ‘I can’t let him hurt Jeonghan’ running through his mind so that the man fell down.
Jeonghan looked at Seungcheol with wide, scared eyes, his ears flat back as he shook all over, and Seungcheol was quick to kneel down next to him.
“Let’s go home,” he said quickly, panting, and got his arm around Jeonghan before pulling him up with him. With a quick look to the side, he saw the man rubbing his head, which he had hit on a trash can, and Seungcheol bit his lip. “Quickly, before he gets up.”
He had to help Jeonghan move forward on most part, for he was still too much in shock to move all that well, and when he saw a taxi, Seungcheol decided that the best option was to get it.
The drive home was silent, with Jeonghan visibly shaken by the incident and Seungcheol looking at him in concern while holding his hand.
As soon as they got home, Jeonghan broke into tears and hugged Seungcheol tightly, holding his shirt in his fist. Seungcheol dropped the shopping bags to the floor and hugged him back, whispering him comforting words.
“It was so scary,” Jeonghan said with a shaky voice, and the older male just nodded. The hybrid swallowed and inhaled the safe, comforting scent of Seungcheol’s. “I-I know it wasn’t that b-bad, but I was so…”
“Frightened?” Seungcheol asked quietly and stroked Jeonghan’s hair, his chest tightening at the thought of how it had felt to have Jeonghan’s hand suddenly disappear from his, not to mention seeing the big man about to kick him. Another scary thought was what would’ve happened if the man had just vanished with him. Life without the hybrid was something Seungcheol didn’t want to imagine. “Me, too. But you know what? You’re safe, and you’re with me.”
Jeonghan nodded slowly, still holding Seungcheol tightly, with his heart hammering in his chest as the anxiety still remained. Seungcheol did all he was able to comfort him that night, and by the time the day came to an end, he had Jeonghan soundly asleep in his arms, cheeks stained with tears and ears drawn back.
Seungcheol was just happy that he had finally fallen asleep, and hoped that he would be able to sleep well despite what had happened. He himself, however, didn’t sleep for much more than a few blinks and a few quarters at separate times, too anxious about Jeonghan not being there if he closed his eyes for much more than that.
Besides worried and upset about what had happened, Seungcheol also felt bothered by the fact that while Jeonghan was being forcefully dragged away, despite him screaming, no one had bothered to step in. People stared at what was going on, but no one cared enough to help. He wasn’t sure if it was because Jeonghan was ’just a hybrid’ or because in big masses, people tend to feel like nothing is particularly their business, but it bothered him either way.
The next morning, Jeonghan told him about the nightmare he had had, about being taken away to a cage, where he was confined and treated badly. He was visibly distressed by the dream, and Seungcheol held him as lovingly as he could.
“It was just a dream,” he whispered to Jeonghan, who nodded, but didn’t say anything back. Instead, he cuddled better to Seungcheol and even pressed a soft kiss to his chest.
“Thank you for… being you.”
Seungcheol smiled and ruffled Jeonghan’s hair before pressing his lips to the top of his head.
The nightmare wasn’t the only one that Jeonghan had after the incident, and for a good while he avoided going outside altogether as well.
Eventually Seungcheol was able to help him overcome it, though, with baby steps. First they’d just get out of the building and look around a little, then walk along the street for a few minutes, and soon they were able to go to the closest grocery store again.
It took quite a bit longer for them to be able to visit the shopping center again, but Seungcheol didn’t mind - in all honesty, he wasn’t too inclined on going there after what had happened, either.
Seungcheol wasn’t sure what their relationship exactly was, so he wanted to keep his sexual desires to himself for the time being: whenever he felt the need to masturbate, he made sure it was either in the shower or at least in the bathroom, with something fueling his imagination or senses and the faucet on so that the water was coming out rather loudly.
That something fueling his imagination ranged from day to day - either it was downright porn or merely pornographic images, or then it was the thought of a certain someone.
A certain someone that, with each time, started to feel more and more like Jeonghan, and eventually the picture in Seungcheol’s mind as his fist moved on his hard cock was Jeonghan on all fours on his bed with his boxers dragged mid thigh, his hole pink and inviting, and his cock hanging hard towards the mattress. His eyes were pleading as he turned his head and looked up at Seungcheol, his pink lips parted and his tongue showing a little, and he was begging for his cock, and as soon as he got what he wanted, he moaned loudly and–
“Fuck, Jeonghan,” Seungcheol grunted when his orgasm finally hit him, white streaks of cum landing on his fingers and stomach. His toes were curling and his face was contorting in pleasure, and he was panting from the intensity of his orgasm.
When it hit him that he had not only jacked off to the thought of thrusting into Jeonghan with the hybrid moaning lewdly underneath him, but also said his name while ejaculating, Seungcheol froze for a moment.
He might not have been sure what their relationship was, but it was about to get a whole lot more complicated, for him at least.
He washed up and tried to freshen himself up so that it wouldn’t, he hoped, be all that obvious that he had just masturbated in the bathroom, but as soon as he met Jeonghan’s wide yet mischievous eyes, he knew the act was futile.
Rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment, Seungcheol cleared his throat. “Did you–”
“Hear you say my name while obviously cumming? Kinda,” Jeonghan said, at first with a straight face, but he was unable to stop a grin from spreading to his lips. After all, it wasn’t like he hadn’t lusted after Seungcheol for a good while as well, just a lot more discreetly.
“I’m sorry,” Seungcheol uttered, barely able to resist the urge to hide behind his hands, but Jeonghan shook his head and stood up from the couch he had been lounging on, unsurprisingly.
With his ears twitching a little and his tail swaying as it pointed upwards, Jeonghan walked to Seungcheol and placed his hand on his chest, easily feeling the rapid rhythm his heart was beating at. “We can either let this make us feel awkward, or…” There was a sparkle in his eyes when Seungcheol stared at them. “…we can see if our relationship could become what we both clearly want it to be.”
Seungcheol let his words register for a while.
Had Jeonghan said ”We both”?
“Wait, did you–”
“I think you heard me,” Jeonghan said curtly, his eyes still sparkling while a seductive grin continued to play on his lips. His hand was slowly sliding down Seungcheol’s upper body, but stopped at his lower stomach. “So, are you more for the awkward or for the other stuff?”
Swallowing hard, Seungcheol licked his lips and placed his hand on top of Jeonghan’s on his body, moving it back up his body. “Other stuff.”
Jeonghan smirked and was about to pull yet another move, but was surprised to feel Seungcheol’s lips on his.
The kiss was playful yet shy, full of questions with no answers.
Pulling away, Seungcheol blinked a couple of times. “…I hope I read the signs correctly.”
Nearly out of breath and definitely aroused and intrigued, Jeonghan shook his head and brought his hand to Seungcheol’s hair. “You read them just perfectly.”
Seungcheol didn’t get to retort when Jeonghan’s lips were back on his and he was slowly being pushed against the wall, although he quickly switched their positions and placed his knee between Jeonghan’s legs.
“Let me be in charge for a change,” Seungcheol said huskily, looking down at the hybrid, who seemed to only get more excited at that.
“Go ahead.”
That night they didn’t get much further than making out on the bed, wearing nothing but their boxers as Seungcheol ground down into Jeonghan needily until they had both come.
And that night even Jeonghan slept without a shirt and Seungcheol cuddled up to him.
One night, several months into Seungcheol adopting Jeonghan, they were sleeping soundly. Jeonghan was cuddled up to him as per usual, with his arm wrapped around Seungcheol’s waist, and the older male was sleeping peacefully as well. Emphasis on was, because it was around 4 in the morning that he woke up to his neck and shoulders being kissed sloppily while something hard pressed - grinded - into his lower back.
Seungcheol was frozen for a while, trying to make sense of the situation despite the knowledge of Jeonghan being horny and the feeling of his lips sucking on his skin going straight to his crotch, and it took all the self-control in him to move Jeonghan’s hand off his stomach and turn around so that he could face him.
“Jeonghan,” he said quietly, voice raspy, and placed a hand on Jeonghan’s shoulder. His cheeks were red, obvious even in the barely lit bedroom, and his brows were furrowed. When Seungcheol called his name again and shook his shoulder lightly, he opened his eyes, resembling a deer in headlights, as catlike as they were.
“W-what?” Jeonghan asked, barely awake, and his eyes widened when he realized his own state and the dark look in Seungcheol’s eyes. It didn’t take him too long to realize what had happened and why the other one was awake, and as much as their relationship had progressed towards intimacy, it still shocked him. “Oh God, I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to–”
“Shh,” Seungcheol shushed him, pressing his forefinger to Jeonghan’s lips, and smiled softly. “Everything’s okay, Jeonghan.”
He turned his bedside lamp on before sitting up on the bed, looking down at the aroused hybrid next to him. Jeonghan’s eyes posed a million pleads and quiet pants left his lips as he tried his best not to grind against the bed sheets. Seungcheol swallowed hard and scratched his cheek, moving eyes eyes elsewhere. “So… that phase of yours, the heat…”
“This is it,” Jeonghan managed to say with a grunt and moved a bit higher on the bed, almost moaning with the friction. Damn, he was sensitive. Seungcheol moved his eyes back to the hybrid and allowed his gaze to move down on him, and with the blanket only covering his legs anymore, he was met with the obvious erection in his red boxers, looking tighter than ever, as well as the equally obvious pool of wetness at the front of them.
With blood rushing to his lower body even more intensely, Seungcheol moved his eyes back to Jeonghan’s pleading ones. “I could help you with that, if you want.”
Jeonghan’s nod was so desperate that it made Seungcheol swallow back a moan.
“Yes, please.”
Jeonghan got up while Seungcheol leaned down, and with the hybrid’s tail swaying slowly, their lips met in a kiss that was needy from the very first second. Jeonghan climbed to his lap and cupped Seungcheol’s cheeks, and the man’s hands roamed on his body as they made out, with the younger one’s hips grinding down into his steadily. Grunting with how good it felt, Seungcheol allowed his hand to move down to Jeonghan’s crotch, straight into his boxers.
“Yes,” was all Jeonghan could say when Seungcheol’s fingers finally wrapped around his cock - if you could call it saying, for it sounded a lot more like a whine. The black-haired male nearly moaned against the hybrid’s lips because of how hard and wet he was, while the hybrid himself was unable to remain quiet, as a downright whine left his lips when Seungcheol began stroking him.
Little by little, Seungcheol moved around so that Jeonghan was lying down on the bed and he was kissing his way down his bare torso while pulling his boxers down with one hand, the other still stroking his cock. Jeonghan was panting heavily, looking down at Seungcheol with his lips parted, and he got his fingers in Seungcheol’s dark hair.
Swirling his tongue near Jeonghan’s happy trail, Seungcheol opened his eyes and looked at the glassy-eyes hybrid staring down at him. He smiled a little and stroked Jeonghan’s right thigh while bringing his mouth to his leaking cock, breathing on it.
“I’m not sure what I was expecting from your heat, but this is… more than I expected,” Seungcheol said with a quiet, low chuckle, and grinned at how Jeonghan’s thigh quivered under his touch when his breath hit his cock. Jeonghan’s lips parted into a moan when Seungcheol brought his mouth to his length, dragging his lips up it until he could swirl his tongue around the head.
Jeonghan writhed and whimpered when Seungcheol finally got his lips around his cock and brought his head down, engulfing more and more of him - the further he went, the more Jeonghan’s legs shook and the tighter he gripped his hair.
“Fuck,” Jeonghan grunted with his hips bucking up and his eyes shutting from the pleasure. His chest was heaving deeply, and he was hardly able to stay still while Seungcheol bobbed his head with expertise Jeonghan didn’t know he had. He hissed when Seungcheol sucked on him with his tongue swirling on the underside of his length, and Jeonghan gasped. “I take it as this isn’t your first time giving head?”
Letting the cock fall off his lips, Seungcheol grinned and slid his tongue on it while humming. “Not the first, not the second, and definitely not the last.”
Jeonghan’s mind went straight to all the upcoming times he’d undoubtedly have Seungcheol’s plump, soft lips and skilled tongue on himself, and that alone had him bucking his hips up again. “That’s just perfect.”
Seungcheol took his sweet time blowing Jeonghan, enjoying every little moan and whine that the horny hybrid let out, as well as the desperate bucking of his hips.
What he hadn’t quite prepared for, for one reason or another, were the sudden needy, begging words.
“Can you please finger me?”
Seungcheol didn’t want to appear fazed, though, and tried to keep it subtle that he was more or less starting to grind into the mattress, with his cock annoyingly hard in his boxers. Jeonghan got a nod from him and he planted his feet on the bed, so that his hole was more visible and more easily accessible.
“You look…” Seungcheol said in awe, his fingers sliding down the back of Jeonghan’s left thigh.
“Wet? I am, you idiot,” the hybrid huffed, his words and tone giving away just how impatient he was getting, and tried to wiggle his ass a little. Seungcheol chuckled while bringing his fingers to the hole, glistening with slick, and teased it with his middle finger. When Jeonghan whined and pushed against it, Seungcheol licked his lips and slid the digit into him with ease.
He brought his mouth back to Jeonghan’s cock while moving his finger inside of him, first merely in and out, but soon he also wiggled it, which had Jeonghan gasping - like Seungcheol’s warm mouth on his sensitive length wasn’t enough.
“Yes,” Jeonghan whispered rather loudly, one hand clutching the pillow under his head and the other holding Seungcheol’s hair. His brows were furrowing and his mind was full of only one need. “More.”
Seungcheol was easily able to slide another finger inside of Jeonghan after some more wiggling of the first digit, and the stretch made Jeonghan whine and writhe in satisfaction, his hips desperately attempting to buck up into Seungcheol’s mouth but also down on his fingers.
Needless to say, Seungcheol was mesmerized as he slid his tongue up and down the hybrid’s cock. He had quite likely never had anyone so needy in front of him, much less someone as attractive as Jeonghan and in his bed, but he loved every second of it.
Eventually a third finger was added, and when Seungcheol curled them all inside of Jeonghan and rubbed into his prostate, Jeonghan moaned against his own arm with his back arching and cock twitching, and begged him to stop.
“Is everything okay?” Seungcheol asked, dumbfound and slightly out of breath, his lips glistening with pre-cum and saliva, and looked at his dear hybrid worriedly, his fingers slipping out of him.
Jeonghan licked his lips, contemplating on how frank he should be, and soon decided that by now, the two could definitely be utmost honest with each other.
“Listen, Seungcheol,” he began, trying to clear his own mind and lifting his head so that he could better look at Seungcheol, his hand stroking his hair. “The chances for me to be able to sleep again without a good fuck are slim, so if you don’t mind, could you just fuck me?”
Almost falling over on the bed, Seungcheol let the words sink in, and without a second thought, he nodded: Jeonghan wasn’t the only one in a state of desperation, as Seungcheol could feel the front of his boxers getting wet as well, not to mention how damn hard his cock was.
Jeonghan grinned at the excitement he could see in Seungcheol, and let his legs down before propping himself on his elbows. “That time you jacked off and said my name… what was I like?”
Nearly moaning at the memory, the embarrassment of it by now long gone, Seungcheol sat up and began taking his boxers off before reaching for his nightstand, where he kept his condoms. “You were on all fours, about as horny as you are now, and you were begging so badly…”
Jeonghan’s mouth watered at the mental image Seungcheol’s words were painting in his mind, and it didn’t take him too long to get on all fours in front for Seungcheol and look back at him, his tail straight in the air. Wiggling his hips, he looked at Seungcheol almost innocently. “Like this?”
Seungcheol looked at him in awe while stroking himself slowly, and placed his slightly shaky hand on Jeonghan’s right ass cheek, grabbing it. His voice was thick as he spoke. “Pretty much. Holy shit you’re gorgeous.”
“Glad you think so,” Jeonghan grinned and moved his attention to Seungcheol’s cock - finally there for him to look at without an annoying foggy glass in between - and was taken aback when he felt Seungcheol’s lips on his hole. A moan left his lips and he desperately pushed against Seungcheol’s face when he felt his tongue circling his wet entrance, teasing it and sliding over it again and again, and while pulling away, Seungcheol was groaning.
“What a perfect ass,” Seungcheol mumbled while standing up on his knees and putting the condom on, both of his hands on Jeonghan’s ass as he ground his cock against him, sliding between the two mounds. Jeonghan was biting down on his lower lip, his fangs nearly digging little holes to it, and his cock so hard that it was almost painful.
“Just get to it, please,” he begged in frustration and lowered the upper half of his body, his forehead resting on his hands. Seungcheol got the slick on his cock and aligned it with Jeonghan’s entrance, only sliding the tip in.
“In the image I had in mind, you were begging a bit more,” he said almost absentmindedly, as if it was a casual side note despite it being so much more, and ran his hand on Jeonghan’s ass.
Already driven crazy by the smallest bit of Seungcheol inside of him, Jeonghan moaned. “Please fuck me, Seungcheol.”
And that did it. In one swift thrust and with Jeonghan’s tail tickling his chest a little, Seungcheol pushed into him, groaning at how hot he was and how new and arousing it all was.
Jeonghan let out a deep moan that in itself made it crystal clear just how needy he was and how badly he needed just this. Seungcheol remained still, all of him pushed into Jeonghan, and merely rolled his hips a little; the younger one whined at it, his fingers curling and his lips staying open and letting out whiny huffs of breath.
Turning his head to Seungcheol, Jeonghan took in the way he looked, his body all nice and toned and his face showing nothing but immense pleasure, with his eyes screwed shut and brows furrowed and lower lip caught between his teeth. But Jeonghan wasn’t getting enough. “Seungcheol… I don’t want to rush you, but–”
Before Jeonghan could finish his sentence, Seungcheol gave him just what he wanted and pulled back, only to thrust back in, which set the start to his thrusts, desperate from the very beginning.
The bed was creaking and it was impossible for Jeonghan to stay silent with how badly he needed his release, needed Seungcheol, and even Seungcheol was panting and grunting and sighing with every other thrust. His hands were holding Jeonghan’s hips, his thumbs pressing into his ass, and whenever he bent down a little, he had his tail tickling him again.
Jeonghan was pushing back against Seungcheol desperately, moaning and whimpering weak “Yes”es as he was brought closer to his orgasm with each time that Seungcheol’s hips hit his ass. Seungcheol brought his hand up Jeonghan’s back and stroked his hair, not forgetting to rub his ears a little, too, at which Jeonghan arched his back.
“You like that?” Seungcheol asked a bit gruffly, rubbing Jeonghan’s ears a bit more before sliding his hand back down his back and down to his cock.
“All of this,” Jeonghan managed to whimper and cried out when Seungcheol’s hand wrapped around his cock and began stroking him in time with his thrusts. He was gone. “Oh God, I’m gonna–”
Seungcheol thrust deep into him and groaned, stroking him through his orgasm as he released white streaks into the sheets while shaking all over. Jeonghan was panting heavily, slightly whiny from oversensitivity, but Seungcheol didn’t remove his hand before he had stopped releasing, after which he resumed his thrusts until he had reached his orgasm as well.
Some time later, the two were cuddling on the bed, having cleaned up and changed the sheets and all that. Seungcheol petted Jeonghan’s hair slowly, his own eyes shut, and whispered him sweet nothings that were actually a lot more than nothing. He told Jeonghan how much he treasured him, how happy he was to have him in his life, and how much he wanted to make him happy, all the while Jeonghan purred contently (and occasionally made it clear that he felt all those things, too).
Slowly, Jeonghan slid his hand down to Seungcheol’s left thigh and began tracing patterns on it, which made Seungcheol chuckle.
“So how long are these heats usually?” he asked quietly, looking down at the hybrid, from whom he was mostly able to see his hair and ears. Jeonghan lifted his face and grinned.
“A few weeks,” he replied, his eyes lowering to Seungcheol’s plump lips as he licked his own. Seungcheol leaned down to kiss his neck with surprising hunger that made Jeonghan sigh and his fingers thread in Seungcheol’s hair.
“Then we might as well make the most of it.”
Jeonghan agreed, but made it a point to tell Seungcheol that even after the heat, they could definitely continue.
Seungcheol had, for one reason or another, expected things to be a lot different with Jeonghan in heat, but was surprised to see that they weren’t, if you didn’t take into account the rather frequent sex sessions that they had.
…Or okay, it was quite a change to earlier that Jeonghan occasionally had to stop what he was doing because he suddenly got very turned on, such as when the two were cooking together.
Seungcheol stared at Jeonghan when he suddenly hissed and put the egg in his hands down.
“Jeonghan, that is an egg,” he stated the obvious, amused, and looked at the hybrid, whose face was slightly flushed and hands were balling into tight fists momentarily as he weighed his options with the sudden burst of need in him. Seungcheol snorted teasingly. “You got turned on by an egg.”
Groaning, Jeonghan moved to stand behind Seungcheol and quickly slid his hand into his pants while his lips pressed to his neck. “Stop whining and get out of your damn clothes.”
Seungcheol obeyed readily, and it wasn’t much later that he was fucking into Jeonghan with him leaning on the kitchen counter, the still undone food a bit to the side, but neither of them cared enough.
A week into Jeonghan’s heat, Wonwoo and Mingyu visited them. It wasn’t the first time, but it was the first time after Seungcheol and Jeonghan’s relationship had… well, changed.
While Jeonghan and Mingyu teased each other - they were essentially a cat and a dog, after all - Wonwoo grinned at his friend. “So, he’s in heat?”
“How did you know?” Seungcheol asked, dumbfound, and turned to look at his friend. Wonwoo shook his head.
“Firstly, Mingyu smelled it from far. And secondly, if I’m being honest, you practically radiate that you’ve gotten some, and he looks like he’s counting seconds until the next time,” Wonwoo pointed out, and Seungcheol merely nodded silently.
Sipping on his beer, Seungcheol decided to have his own little payback. “How are Mingyu’s heats, then?”
Some red rushed to Wonwoo’s cheeks at the memory of Mingyu’s latest heat, how they’d have some of the most satisfying, rough sex and then cuddle, and he nodded slowly. “Similar, probably.”
Seungcheol grinned and the subject was dropped as the hybrids returned to them, Mingyu pouting and Jeonghan smirking.
That night, Jeonghan rode Seungcheol so sensually that their heads were practically spinning, and when his orgasm was drawing closer, he leaned down to whisper to his ear something that had Seungcheol’s heart skipping a beat and his breath hitching.
“I– I love you.”
Having been too dazed to reply then, Seungcheol held Jeonghan close when they had both come, and stroked his arm.
“Jeonghan?” he asked quietly, and the hybrid hummed, his forefinger drawing patterns on his toned chest. Seungcheol smiled and leaned down to kiss the top of his head. “I love you, too.”
Jeonghan froze for a couple of seconds before melting into a smile and lifting his face, showing Seungcheol the brightest expression he had ever seen on the hybrid.
Everything felt right.

“What did I say, Seungcheol?!” Jeonghan screamed, looking more pissed then Seungcheol could remember him ever being in years. “No more fucking pets!”
“Yeah but-“
“And what do you do? Get another fucking cat!”
“But-“
“No buts, Seungcheol! Take it back!”
“Hannie, look at her cute little face,” Seungcheol said, stepping towards his husband cautiously to show him the little kitten in his arms.
“Don’t ‘Hannie’ me and I don’t want to see it.”
“Yes, you do,” Seungcheol song songed, sidling up next to the man. “Just a peek.”
Jeonghan glared at him and Seungcheol held the kitten up to his face. Jeonghan’s eyes instantly softened as he looked at the kitten. The small animal blinked at him slowly and let out a tiny mewl.
“I named her Princess because she’s gonna be our little princess,” Seungcheol said with a smile.
“First things first, if we’re keeping her, and that’s a big if, you’re not naming her princess,” Jeonghan told him. “You’re potty training her and teaching Seungkwan to be gentle with her. I don’t want a repeat of what happened to Seokmin.”
Seungcheol nodded quickly and held the kitten to his chest again.
“Of course! So, we can keep her?”
Jeonghan let out a long suffering sigh. “I guess.”
Seungcheol practically squealed with delight and kissed Jeonghan on the cheek.
“Thanks, Hannie!”
“You didn’t really give me much of a choice, coming home with it and shoving it’s cute little face at me.”
“Ah, the kids are gonna be so excited!”
Seungcheol handed Jeonghan the kitten and grabbed his keys off the counter.
“Where are you going?”
“I gotta get all the stuff I bought for her out of the car.”
Jeonghan sighed again as his husband pretty much skipped out the door. He looked down at the kitten who was falling asleep in his arms.
“Fuck, I’m weak,” he muttered to himself.
